(Missed the first 7 min.)

Felicia: I just feel like I'm never going to stop hurting, you know? Anyway, it's absolutely no reason for me to be rude to you. I am so sorry.

Jason: Please, no, forget it. And if Michael's not here, I'll just take off.

Felicia: Wait, wait. Sometimes he does call in, leaves a message. Why don't I look, ok? Please?

Jason: Yeah, well, he said he made arrangements like that sometimes when he couldn't be here.

Felicia: Yes, yes. It's just that I -- I'm a little cranky today. Forgive me.

Jason: Fine.

Felicia: Let's take a look, shall we?

Jason: Anything?

Felicia: Well, yeah -- well, how about this? It says here -- I don't know if this applies to you, but -- "if Adam or Jason call, tell them that I'm in Chicago on that business that we had talked about"

Jason: Exactly what I needed.

Felicia: Is it?

Jason: Yes.

Felicia: Great.

Jason: Thank you very much.

Felicia: You're welcome. So, listen, you're -- you're that Jason?

Jason: Jason Frame, yeah.

Felicia: Yes. I -- I don't know. We haven't officially met. I'm Felicia --

Jason: I know who you are. You're Felicia Gallant.

Felicia: Right. So you're Jamie's uncle, right?

Jason: Right.

Felicia: Yes.

Jason: Right.

Felicia: You know, I'm Lisa Grady's aunt.

Jason: Jamie's girlfriend is -- yeah, that means that we're family.

Felicia: Well -- I mean, you're uncle, I'm aunt -- yes, I -- why not?

Jason: Well, then we have something in common, then, right?

Felicia: Yes, I would say so, yeah. We should maybe all get together.

Jason: Well, I'd like that. I want to do it soon.

Felicia: Ok. Right. Nice to -- to meet you officially.

Jason: Oh, yes, nice, nice. See you.

Mary: Could we go sit down somewhere?

Vince: Why should you be involved in a business of ballistics report anyway?

Mary: You're a lot easier to deal with when you're sitting down.

Vince: No, look, you should just stay out of this. Why don't you just tell me, "hey, I'm going to stay out of it"?

Mary: Because I can't, not entirely.

Vince: Why not? Hold on.

Mary: Because the police don't have everything they need, and I am the key to their getting more information.

Vince: What kind of malarkey is that? The police have got computers, they got data banks, they got helicopters --

Mary: I was there.

Vince: The night of the fire?

Mary: Yes! I'm the one who saw Elizabeth on the floor. I saw the gun in Reginald's hand.

Vince: Ok --

Mary: I didn't go to the police then. I have to help them now. Don't you want to see Reginald pay for what he did?

Vince: Oh, of course I do, but, I mean, does this stuff in the past -- is that going to do it?

Mary: There's no statute of limitations on murder.

Vince: I just don't want to see you getting hurt.

Mary: He has been able to cover his tracks all this time -- until Jason showed up.

Vince: Oh, sometimes I wish Jason hadn't shown up.

Mary: But he's starting to crack now.

Vince: Oh, great, great! Supposing Reginald finds out he's in all this trouble, right, and it's you who's fingered him?

Mary: I don't think that he will do anything to me. And Jason says --

Vince: Hold, hold. I don't want to hear "Jason says" again. He's now responsible for you lying to your husband.

Mary: Ex-husband.

Vince: All right, ex-husband. Your ex-husband who is home at night, still loves you, wishes that you were there with him.

Mary: Vince, Vince --

Vince: Now, look, I just want all of this to go away so that we can deal with each other.

Mary: Please, I need to --

Vince: You are starting to -- we have a chance at some happiness, Mary, after all this time. Will you just let this business go --

Mary: Please, please, you have got --

Vince: So we can deal with us? Mary, what -- whoa!

[Mary whimpers] (ticking)

Vince: You're going to be all right, Mary. I am right here.

Mary: I can't stop the pain. I can't make it stop.

Vince: Ada, I need some ice!

Jamie: Vince, what happened?

Vince: She has another one of those headaches.

Mary: I want to sit up.

Vince: No, no, no. Get her to lie down.

Mary: I want to sit up.

Vince: Jamie --

Jamie: Vince, let her sit up if she wants to!

Vince: All right! All right. It's a good thing you were here. Come on.

Jamie: I was upstairs checking on Dawn.

Mary: I'm better. I'm better.

Vince: Now, look, it was all my fault. I started to harp on her about Jason and the police and --

Jamie: Vince, please.

Vince: All right, I'm sorry.

Mary: I'll be ok.

Jamie: Of course you will be. It'll pass. It'll pass. Now, just take some deep breaths, relax. That's it. That's it. Now, come on, let me just look at your eyes here. Now look up. Ok, look away. Look the other way. Ok, now close your eyes. Relax. Ok, now look at me. You're going to be ok, ok?

Mary: I don't want everybody staring.

Vince: Nobody's staring, Mary.

Jamie: I want to get you upstairs, ok?

Mary: No, I don't need to go upstairs.

Jamie: And I know that -- tough. And I want to talk to your neurologist, too.

Mary: No, you don't have to call him. He told me that this might happen once in a while.

Jamie: Well, I still want to talk to him. Now, come on, upstairs to bed.

Mary: I will be ok.

Jamie: Come on. You're going to be just fine, just fine. A little rest won't hurt, though. Vince, I'll take it from here, ok?

Vince: Ok.

Jamie: Come on.

Jason: Vinny. Something wrong with Mary?

Vince: A headache.

Jason: Anything serious?

Vince: It was brought on because I found out about some stupid ballistics report.

Jason: Oh, that, yeah --

Vince: And she was lying to me, and I called her on it. And you put her up to it, didn't you?

Jason: Vinny --

Vince: Let me set you straight, huh? You have told me your last lie!

Reginald: My men can't find Michael Hudson.

Andre: Maybe he's with your ex-wife.

Reginald: No, no, they're watching her. He's not there.

Andre: She doesn't seem to do much work for this man Hudson, does she?

Reginald: And the same might be said for you and me.

Andre: Meaning?

Reginald: Meaning I arrived for a meeting and you're entertaining some woman.

Andre: I told you -- she had trouble with her boyfriend and came in my room.

Reginald: As a refuge, yeah, so you've said. How chivalrous.

Andre: I'm always a gentleman when they're that pretty. Your ex-wife, Mary, do you know what she has on you?

Reginald: That's not important to you.

Andre: Seems to matter to you.

Reginald: Your job is to find that watch, or Michael Hudson -- something! Just stop sitting there like some playboy on the Riviera!

Andre: You're in over your head.

Reginald: Oh, please.

Andre: And I don't like working for a nervous employer.

Reginald: Oh? Thinking of quitting, are you?

Andre: Yes.

Reginald: And why is that?

Andre: Because a nervous employer's a dangerous man to be involved with. He makes mistakes. You better grab ahold of yourself.

Reginald: Is that a fact?

Andre: Yes. Think about it. Well, I'll see what I can find out. Enjoy your drink.

Reginald: It's me. Yes, tell my lawyers I'm going to be needing a meeting as soon as possible.

Rachel: You seem sort of distracted.

Nicole: Me? No. No. Why should I? I mean, everything is going according to clockwork.

Amanda: Oh, great.

Rachel: Well, then, you finished your designs?

Nicole: Yeah, this morning.

Amanda: Well, that explains it, then.

Nicole: What?

Amanda: Your show. They'll be judging your work in, what, less than two weeks?

Nicole: Yes, but I don't plan to start worrying about that until I land in Paris.

Rachel: Well, I hope the dress isn't going to give you too --

Nicole: No -- are you kidding? I promised this bride a dress! Now, I don't break my promise.

Amanda: Well, maybe because it's so close you would rather concentrate --

Nicole: Don't even think about it, would you, please? Now, look, I want you to take a look at my latest sketches here.

Amanda: Ok, ok.

Nicole: When is the big day, by the way?

Amanda: Three weeks from today.

Nicole: Three weeks? Are you kidding?

Rachel: I thought you knew.

Nicole: Oh -- well, yes, I -- I guess I did. You told me the other afternoon.

Amanda: It's after your show, isn't it?

Nicole: Well -- three weeks, three weeks. Yeah. Yeah, but --

Amanda: But what?

Nicole: Well, Felicia and Cass and Mitch and I will still be in Monte Carlo then.

Amanda: Mitch?

Nicole: Well, he's doing the photographs. Why?

Amanda: Sam wants him as his best man!

Nicole: His best -- oh, no! This is great!

Rachel: Oh, no, wait a minute, wait a minute. Let's not panic, ok? Nicole, can't you send Mitch back early?

Amanda: Right. That would work, wouldn't it, Nicole?

Rachel: I mean, you don't need a photographer then, do you?

Amanda: Please?

Nicole: Oh, I don't know.

Amanda: You don't know if you're going to need Mitch after the show?

Nicole: No. I mean, no -- yes.

Amanda: What?

Nicole: There's a party scheduled after the show, and -- well, I'm sure it'll be ok. Yeah, I'll tell you what -- I'll make sure that Mitch gets there for your wedding.

Rachel: Well, great, then.

Amanda: Ok.

Rachel: That's great.

Amanda: So it's settled, then?

Nicole: Yes, yes. Does this look like a face that would spoil your wedding day?

Amanda: No.

Nicole: Ok. Well, let's take a look at the sketch here.

Amanda: All right.

Nicole: This is it. No. No, no, no, this isn't it. Oh, I know, I know. I left it upstairs. I'll be right back.

Amanda: Mm-hmm. Does Nicole seem a little --

Rachel: Tense? Yeah. Right.

Amanda: Oh, well, I guess with the show in two weeks.

Rachel: What about you?

Amanda: What?

Rachel: Well, you're going to be married in three.

Amanda: Oh, yeah, I am.

Rachel: You scared?

Amanda: Me? No. I'm really glad you're here.

Rachel: Oh, I'm enjoying every minute of it -- sort of.

Amanda: How are things going with you and dad?

Rachel: Honey, don't worry about your father. You think about your husband and your baby.

Amanda: Oh, don't worry. I never forget about the baby. That's for sure.

Rachel: It's three months along. Can you believe it?

Amanda: Do you know that I gained two pounds my last trip to the doctor?

Rachel: Oh, then, that's great. At that rate, you only should gain about 80 pounds, I think, by the end of it.

Amanda: Stop. You know, it's really kind of strange. It's turning into a whole human being right inside of me. So strange.

Rachel: And it's wonderful.

Amanda: I saw these great layouts in Gelderman's.

Rachel: Could we please dress the bride before we dress the baby?

Amanda: You think I should wear white?

Rachel: Why not?

Amanda: It's just there's so many people that know that I'm pregnant.

Rachel: I think you ought to do exactly what you want to do. It's your wedding.

Amanda: And Sam's.

Rachel: And Sam's.

Amanda: I -- I told daddy -- I guess I probably shouldn't have. I was just angry.

Rachel: What?

Amanda: I -- I told him that Sam and I have been thinking about eloping. Sam still isn't really crazy about a big wedding.

Rachel: What about you?

Amanda: Oh, no, I really want this.

Rachel: Well, then, listen to me --

Amanda: The serious voice.

Rachel: This is your wedding. I think you ought to make it a very special day. It's for life, you know.

Amanda: Life.

Rachel: Well, with any luck. I think you ought to make it the most special day you can so that it's going to be a day you want to remember for life.

Nicole: Ok! Hey, I found three! Isn't that wild? I didn't even realize I had done three sketches instead of one!

Amanda: Oh!

Nicole: It's amazing!

Rachel: I guess there's something about a wedding dress that gets the adrenaline going.

Nicole: Well, I guess so.

Amanda: It's going to be so hard to choose.

Rachel: Oh, they're beautiful.

Nicole: Yeah.

Rachel: Oh, Nicole, has anybody told you how terrific you are?

Cass: Now you know why they call me Mr. Cool.

[Cass and Nicole laugh]

Nicole: Oh, my back.

Cass: Does it hurt?

Nicole: It's killing me.

Cass: Aw. Whoa! -- Oh --

[Cass laughs]

Cass: I can't believe this.

Nicole: What?

Cass: I feel terrific.

Nicole: How terrific?

Cass: Very terrific.

Nicole: Yeah?

Cass: Yeah. Especially considering that I haven't felt much of anything for a long time.

Felicia: Well, how many did we order? Every summer? Oh, every week? Well, no, how am I supposed to know that? Do you know what I mean? Look, if you want to deliver your stupid fruit, I suggest you get it here tomorrow on time. Yes, and you can keep your personal comments to yourself! Thank you!

Cass: Tough day, huh?

[Felicia sighs]

Felicia: Why do you ask that? You mean, between the bar and -- and the rutabagas and the green-leaf lettuce and the pecans and -- and the waiters -- I don't know what's happening to the waiters.

Cass: Wally ran a tight ship.

Felicia: I had no idea.

Cass: I think he must have conned everybody into doing him favors. I think that's it.

Felicia: Well, he probably -- even like that nitwit I was just talking to, huh?

Cass: Yes, he probably did. It was strange getting off the elevator and not seeing him here anymore.

Felicia: I don't think I've ever been this drained.

Cass: I know.

Felicia: I know.

Cass: I have an idea.

Felicia: Yeah?

Cass: Find somebody.

Felicia: For what?

Cass: Wally.

Felicia: Right, Cass, that's great. That's great. I'll just haul off and I'll replace him.

Cass: Wait a second --

Felicia: Is that what you want me to do?

Cass: Ok, wait a second --

Felicia: Is it?

Cass: Think of it this way -- what would Wally have told you to do?

Felicia: Replace him.

Cass: No! You're hiring a manager. You're not replacing Wally.

Felicia: I know.

Cass: I bet a hundred bucks on big foot to win in the seventh.

Felicia: Wally's favorite horse?

Cass: Right. I'm giving everything that I won to Wally's favorite charity.

Felicia: Oh, honey, he'd be proud of you. That's something he would do.

Cass: But that makes it right. Do you understand? Doing something that I know he'd want me to do.

Felicia: I know. Ok, ok. I will try to start looking for a new manager tomorrow, ok?

Cass: Good girl.

Felicia: Ok.

Cass: Come on. Come on.

Felicia: It's not going to be the same.

Cass: No, no, no. It used to be a three-way deal. But, you know, Wally knew it wasn't going to last forever.

Felicia: What does that mean?

Cass: Well, the three-way deal -- not with you getting engaged to what's-his-name there -- Mitch, yeah.

Felicia: Oh, now, wait a minute, wait a minute.

Cass: What? What?

Felicia: Don't put this on me. He knew that things would change for you, too.

Cass: What?

Felicia: You and Nicole.

Cass: Yeah?

Felicia: Have they?

Cass: Have they what?

Felicia: Cass! You and Nicole -- have things changed?

Jason: Vinny, try calming down.

Vince: This is as calm as I get. What you did was so selfish, so little --

Jason: You're going to start a scene here, Vinny.

Vince: I don't care! This is my place, and this is my wife we're talking about!

Jason: You and Mary?

Vince: All right, my ex-wife! Doesn't matter! I'm still going to protect her! You got that?

Jason: Yeah, because you love her, right?

Vince: Doesn't matter! You lied to me!

Jason: Vinny, we were trying to keep you out of it so you wouldn't worry, and look at you.

Vince: Oh, come on, don't give me that garbage!

Now, listen to me, listen to me -- anything happens to Mary because of you trying to pull down Reginald Love -- anything -- you're going to answer to me! Now, you got it?

Jason: Yeah. I heard it once. I'll remember it.

Vince: Don't forget it!

Adam: Jason.

Jason: Yeah, we were just talking about you.

Adam: Oh, yeah?

Jason: Well, in a manner of speaking, yeah.

Adam: Vince.

Vince: Adam.

Adam: Listen, you got a minute?

Jason: That the ballistics report? If it is, I think we got to include Vinny in on this this time.

Adam: All right, but can we go someplace private?

Vince: The kitchen's private.

Adam: With this we finally got some hard evidence, something to back up, something to corroborate what Mary's been remembering.

Vince: What?

Adam: That ballistics report, the one on the gun that Scott had, the one that Reginald gave him?

Jason: It's going to match and does match to the bullet that came out of Elizabeth's room.

Adam: That's right -- the bullet in the window frame, that's right.

Jason: How did I know that?

Jason: That autopsy report's got to be a phony, right?

Adam: Practically everything that Mary remembers about that night contradicts it.

Vince: What about Mary?

Jason: The newspaper stuff -- all that's got to be bogus.

Adam: Bought and paid for. Look, what we got to concentrate on now is a motive.

Jason: Why Reginald wanted his wife dead.

Adam: That's right -- whether he showed up that night with intent.

Vince: Wait a minute. Isn't this putting Mary into danger?

Adam: I don't know why. We're the only ones who know about this.

Vince: She doesn't even know about this yet.

Adam: There's no reason, of course, we can't tell her.

Vince: Whoa -- whoa, whoa. Anybody's going to tell it, it's going to be me. I'll go up and see how she is.

Adam: Well, what's the matter with her?

Vince: Another one of those headaches.

Adam: I'm sorry.

Vince: If she's well enough, I'll tell her.

Jason: Vinny, don't try to keep anything from her, try to protect her.

Vince: Now, look, if she's getting her memory back and she's right, she deserves to know it, but only if she's well enough. Ok?

Jason: Hmm.

Adam: You two don't seem to be getting along very well.

Jason: Where do we stand as far as nailing Reggie?

Adam: Well, basically, we've got some evidence, but it's evidence that a woman with amnesia corroborates.

Jason: What are you saying, that some defense attorney's going to be able to tear that apart?

Adam: Basically.

Jason: All right, Scott says exhume the body --

Adam: I'm trying not to do that.

Jason: Why?

Adam: Working on another angle.

Jason: Look, you wouldn't have a case you wouldn't know about if it wasn't for Mary and me. I want to know what's going on.

Adam: Look, I'm keeping an eye on Reginald, and I'm keeping an eye on some other people around him, too.

Jason: I want him now.

Adam: You are not the one who's going to get him. Is that clear? Look, I don't want you going off and doing something stupid.

Jason: Hey, you're right.

Adam: The last thing I need --

Jason: Don't worry about me!

Adam: Is somebody trying to take the law in their own hands.

Jason: Hey, no problem. That's fine, ok?

Adam: Do you want to go off and flag Reginald, let him know what we're up to?

Jason: No.

Adam: All right.

Jason: See you.

Adam: We'll handle it, all right?

Jason: All right.

Jason: Once I get him first.

Mary: I have never taken a sedative.

Jamie: You have never had headaches like these either.

Mary: You told me they would go away.

Jamie: Not if you can't rest. Now, come on. Take two of these.

Vince: Oh, pills? She's always been stubborn as a mule about taking a pill.

Mary: That's right.

Vince: But if you put them on the nightstand there, I'll -- I'll make sure she takes them.

Jamie: Good enough.

Mary: Oh, thank you so much.

Jamie: And I have a prescription here in case you need some more.

Mary: I'm not going to need more.

Jamie: Yes, but if you do, wouldn't it be nice that you had the foresight to go out and get some?

Mary: Thank you.

Jamie: Mm-hmm.

Vince: Thank you, Jamie.

Jamie: I'm glad I was available. And I'll call you after I've talked to your neurologist.

Mary: Jamie --

Jamie: Hmm?

Mary: Really, thank you.

Jamie: You're welcome. Bye-bye.

Vince: So long.

Jamie: Oh, and, Vince -- no more pressure, ok?

Mary: "I'm stubborn as a mule"?

Vince: Always were, always.

Mary: Why? Because I don't want to go to bed in the middle of the day? Look at me.

Vince: I am.

Mary: I mean I'm ok. I don't even know why -- I don't -- I don't know why that happens like that. It's frightening, Vince.

Vince: You're going to be all right. It'll be all right. Now, listen. Come on, you lie down and go to bed.

Mary: Well, I want to know the minute Adam gets here.

Vince: Oh, sure.

Mary: He's here -- has he been here? Is he downstairs right now?

Vince: He -- he's been here, and he's gone, all right?

Mary: Well, what did he say?

Vince: He said that your memory was right on the mark, that the ballistic report shows that the bullet matches Reginald's gun.

Mary: Vince, oh, Vince, oh, Vince, do you know what this means?

Vince: Everything's coming back.

Mary: It means I was right -- I mean, I'm remembering! I'm really remembering! It's not just my imagination!

Vince: Of course not, of course not. I just hope that you remember some of the good times. I've held on to that all these years, you know.

Mary: I do.

Vince: What?

Mary: I remember you sitting with M.J. on your lap, and she kept begging you to play horsy.

Vince: You remember that?

Mary: Yes!

Vince: Oh, I -- I can't -- that -- ah, yeah, she liked that, she loved that. You know, she called -- she called me this morning.

Mary: She did? What did she say?

Vince: You take your pill and I'll tell you.

Mary: I thought you forgot about that.

Vince: I never forget. Oh -- oh, hey, I am sorry.

Mary: A little slip of the tongue, right, Irishman?

Vince: You -- you haven't called me that since --

Mary: Since 18 years ago.

Vince: Hmm. Well, come on. You got to get some rest.

Mary: No, you didn't tell me what M.J. said.

Vince: Yeah, well, she said that she's doing fine, just fine, and that she loves you.

Mary: Well, I have to call her. I have to tell her about the horsy.

Vince: Do you remember that song, that crazy song I used to -- I used to sing her?

[Foreign accent]

this is the way a farmer rides, a farmer rides, a farmer rides

Mary: Yes! I do. I just wish --

Vince: [Normal voice] hey -- don't worry. It's all going to come back. Pleasant dreams.

Felicia: Why won't you tell me about this?

Cass: Oh, give me a break. I'm just realizing it myself.

Felicia: Oh, you see? Even Wally knew about you and Nicole a month ago at least.

Cass: Well, he wouldn't have rubbed it in, though, when I admitted it.

Felicia: Oh, I don't know. He might have.

Cass: Yeah, he probably would.

[Felicia laughs]

Felicia: So, have you informed Nicole how you're feeling?

Cass: I'm thinking of buying her something.

Felicia: Oh, Cass!

Cass: Not a ring.

Felicia: Oh.

Cass: For crying out loud. I'm thinking -- I don't know -- something small, you know, but significant.

Felicia: "Small, but significant"?

Cass: Well, great things come in small packages.

Felicia: Oh, please. Well, whatever it is, just -- just do it. I want you to hold that thought, just go out, and do it. Ok?

Cass: Ok, ok. You know, you're really pushing this idea, aren't you?

Felicia: No, no, no, I'm pushing you. Besides, Nicole deserves to have a present after putting up with you all this time, ok?

Cass: This is true.

Felicia: Go. Go on. And think expensive. Great. Oh, I am going to call the agency and I'm going to try and find a new manager.

Steve: Good.

Lisa: Hi, Cass.

Cass: Lisa?

Felicia: Lisa. Hi.

Lisa: Hi, Felicia. How are you?

Felicia: I'm -- I'm ok. Honey, why are you dressed like this?

Lisa: Did anybody come in here and look for me?

Felicia: No. Are you ok?

Lisa: Yeah. I'm just a little nervous.

Felicia: About what? What happened?

Lisa: I'm doing some police work.

Felicia: Dressed like that?

Lisa: Yeah. I just had a close call, but I handled it beautifully.

Felicia: Handled what, honey?

Lisa: I'm so excited I can hardly breathe.

Felicia: All right, all right. Sit down right here and I'll go get you some water.

Lisa: Ok.

Felicia: All right?

Lisa: Yeah.

Felicia: All right.

Andre: You ran out on me.

Lisa: Andre. Hi.

Andre: What is it with you?

Lisa: Listen, I want to thank you for saving my neck back there. You know --

Andre: It's such a beautiful neck.

Lisa: Oh, well, you don't know what my boyfriend would have done if he found me in your room.

Andre: But it wasn't your boyfriend at the door.

Lisa: Oh, no? Well --

Felicia: Hi. Here you go. Hello.

Lisa: Oh, Ms. Gallant, I really think I would like to go back to your office and fill out that application for the waitress job.

Andre: Waitress?

Lisa: Uh --

Andre: I thought you were a secretary.

Lisa: Yeah, well -- could we go now, please?

Felicia: Yes, of cour--

Andre: I'll wait for you here.

Lisa: Ok. See you.

Felicia: Lisa -- Lisa, I think this is kind of dangerous.

Lisa: Come on.

Felicia: Lisa --

Nicole: Ok, so we'll go with this traditional gown with the train.

Amanda: Right, and the veil from this one.

Nicole: Right. Contemporary and traditional -- my kind of design.

Rachel: Will you be able to find imported lace?

Nicole: Well, if I can't buy it, I'll steal it.

Amanda: That's the spirit.

Nicole: Yeah, nothing's too good for the bride of one of the country's leading magazine artists.

Amanda: Right. Except that Sam just quit his job at "Brava."

Nicole: Really?

Amanda: Yeah. He's going to paint full-time now.

Nicole: Now?

Amanda: He's very talented. He'll make it.

Nicole: Oh, well, that's great. Really. Good for him.

Rachel: He is very talented.

Nicole: Well, you think maybe he'd do something on commission?

Amanda: Oh, you bet.

Nicole: We could use something really original on this wall here.

Amanda: Sam would love to do it.

Rachel: Honey, why don't you ask Nicole if it's all right if Sam called her and talked to her about it.

Nicole: Oh, please.

Amanda: Yeah, I guess I really couldn't make a decision like that for him.

Nicole: No, no, of course not.

Amanda: It's so strange, you know, having to think about somebody else all the time.

Rachel: You better get used to it. You're going to be a married person.

Amanda: Yeah. Have you ever been married, Nicole?

Nicole: Are you kidding? Well, I am -- I'm just so busy, I -- you know, I just don't even have time to think about that.

Rachel: Honey, we're going to be late.

Amanda: Oh, yeah, I've got to get back to "Brava." I'll make sure that Sam gives you a call.

Nicole: Ok.

Rachel: So we're all set?

Nicole: Yes. Please, don't worry about a thing. I will just do a quick sketch to incorporate all the changes that we've made, and --

Rachel: Good.

Nicole: Then I will call you as soon as I'm ready for the fittings, ok?

Amanda: Oh, great, ok.

Rachel: Thank you, Nicole.

Amanda: Thanks.

Nicole: Oh, please, my pleasure.

Amanda: Bye.

Nicole: Bye.

Rachel: Bye-bye.

Nicole: Take care.

Nicole: A bride. Me? Oh, no.

Cass: Hello. Hello.

Nicole: May I help you, sir?

Cass: Oh, no, thanks. I just -- I have something to do.

Nicole: Weren't you even going to say hello?

Cass: Oh, I did. Didn't you hear me?

Nicole: Where did you go?

Cass: Here and there.

Nicole: Of course -- you know, it doesn't mean you don't have to tell me anything, but I was just curious. I mean, your private life is your own business, though.

Cass: Good.

Nicole: That's fine! That's just fine!

Cass: Is something wrong?

Nicole: Oh, no, nothing!

Cass: Well, come on, Nicole, you can talk --

Nicole: Look, would you just back off, Cass?

Cass: Hey, what is with you?

Felicia: Now, wait a minute. I want you to tell me what's going on here.

Lisa: I have to talk to Adam.

Felicia: No, no, you're going to talk to me first. I'm the one who covered for you out there, remember?

Lisa: I know, and you were great. Thank you.

Felicia: So what is going on? Lisa --

ugh.

Lisa: Adam? Hi. It's Lisa.

Adam: Hey, Lisa. What's up?

Lisa: You know Andre Battelier? He and I are just like this.

Adam: What?

Lisa: Now, don't get upset, ok? Everything went smooth as silk, and I'm fine.

Adam: Now, I want you back at the station house right now.

Lisa: I can't, Adam. He's waiting for me.

Adam: You have no authority.

Lisa: I know. You'll have to fix that. Though I don't think I can wear a wire because he likes to touch, you know?

Adam: Lisa --

Lisa: But I can keep him under control and get everything we need.

Adam: No. The answer is no, N-O. Watch my -- no --

Lisa: Adam --

Adam: Listen to what I'm saying --

Lisa: Adam, I've done undercover work before.

Adam: What, the one time you played around in a bar --

Lisa: Well, he had a meeting with Reginald Love earlier.

Adam: That's old news, and I want you off this case now.

Lisa: It's too late. I'm in. Besides, you need me, and you know it.

Adam: Lisa, this is not the "I Love Lucy" show.

Lisa: I am being careful.

Adam: Oh, I'll bet.

Lisa: You can even ask Felicia.

Adam: What? Felicia's involved in this, too?

Lisa: No, no, she's not involved. She just saw me in action.

Adam: Listen to me -- this is the real thing. This guy could be deadly, and I want you back here --

Lisa: Adam, I have to go. He's going to get suspicious.

Adam: I can't believe you. What --

Lisa: And you can't stop me either.

Adam: All right. All right, but I'm going to have -- I'm going to have backup on you watching you, little lady. Is that clear?

Lisa: Thank you. I'll call you when I get something, ok? Bye.

Adam: Stupid, stupid, stu--

Felicia: I don't want you doing anything that involves Reginald Love.

Lisa: Oh, Felicia, you're worse than Adam sometimes.

Felicia: Lisa --

Mary: What --

Elizabeth's voice: Oh, Reggie, no. No, not here. Not here! No, please, no. No, no. Please, please, not -- no, no, we're done arguing.

Jason's voice: That's when you came along in the --

Elizabeth's voice: Everyone's going to know -- never! The clue is the watch!

Reginald's voice: Watch? Where is the watch? Where is it?

Elizabeth's voice: You'll never find it! I'll put you away!

[Mary stirs]

Mary's voice: He had a gun in his hand. He was pulling me out of the room, and I wanted to help her!

Elizabeth's voice: Help!

Mary's voice: He kept warning me that we couldn't tell anybody about it, we couldn't say anything to anybody because it would look so bad, and everybody would think that we had done it and that everybody would think that I had something to do with it and that I run, and so I ran. And he told me not to tell anybody, and I didn't, and if I had --

Vince: Mary, stop keeping things from me!

[Mary groans]

Vince: Talk to me, damn it! Talk to me, damn it! Talk to me, damn it! Talk to me, damn it!

Mary: What is that?

Vince: Talk to me!

Elizabeth's voice: You'll never find the watch, never! The clue is the watch!

Reginald's voice: Watch? Where is the watch? Where is it?

Elizabeth's voice: You'll never find it! I'll put you away!

Reginald's voice: Watch? Where is the watch? Where is it?

Elizabeth's voice: You'll never find it! The clue is the watch! The clue is the watch! The clue is the watch! The clue is the watch!

Mary: Help! No!

Jason: Mary?

Mary: No!

Jason: Mary?

Mary: No! Bianca: Well, that's --

Jamie: Ah, Lisa, there --

Lisa: Jamie! Oh! Hi.

Jamie: Hi.

Lisa: I'm glad to see you.

Jamie: What's going on?

Lisa: Come on, walk with me.

Jamie: Where are we going?

Reginald: All right, I received your message. What is so important?

Andre: Well, I just thought you might like to know I've located the watch.

Reginald: The watch? Where? Who has it?

Andre: Your daughter, Nicole Love.

Cass: Come on, don't I get an answer?

Nicole: No. I'm busy, ok?

Cass: No, it's not ok.

Nicole: Look, just take off and go do your errands and you just come back and you don't even say hello? I don't -- I just don't care!

Cass: All this because I didn't say hello loud enough?

Nicole: Oh, of course not! I'm just swamped. It doesn't matter to me. I've got this wedding dress I have to work on. Just go away, would you?

Cass: Amanda's dress?

Nicole: Yes!

Cass: No, no, no, there's more to this than some wedding dress.

Nicole: Look, why did you kiss me before?

Cass: What?

Nicole: You kissed me.

Cass: I know.

Nicole: And I liked it.

Cass: Good!

Nicole: And then you just walked out of here as though I didn't even exist!

Cass: Oh.

Nicole: Yeah, "oh." How dare you play with my feelings like that. How am I ever supposed to know where I stand with you if you keep pulling stunts like that? You just never tell me how you feel about me, never!

Cass: Are you finished?

Nicole: No, I'm not!

Cass: Can you take a break for just a second while I say something?

Nicole: What? What?

Cass: I liked kissing you, too. I like that you're here. I like everything that you've done for me. I think I even like it that you're mad at me.

Nicole: Oh, just buzz off.

Cass: In fact, I like you so much that I bought you a stupid present.

Nicole: What?

Cass: Yeah, I've been -- I've been bouncing around from jewelry store to jewelry store.

Nicole: Oh.

Cass: Yeah, "oh." And I was trying to sneak upstairs so that I could wrap it, but forget it. Here.

Nicole: Oh, Cass. I love it.

Cass: Good. I thought it would go nicely with the gold watch that Jason Frame gave you.

Nicole: My mother's watch.

Cass: Right. Here, let me.

Nicole: Oh, I'm such an idiot.

Cass: Well, this is true.

Nicole: How do I say "thank you" and "I'm sorry" at the same time?

Cass: Oh -- I think we can come up with something.

Mary: No!

No!

No!

Jason: Mary --

Mary: Help!

Jason: Mary --

Mary: No!

Jason: Hey, Mary --

Mary: No!

Jason: It's all right --

Mary: No! No, let go! Please, let go of me!

Jason: It's nothing but a nightmare. You are dreaming.

Mary: Oh! Oh! Oh!

Jason: You were just dreaming. You're just -- you're awake now. You're all right.

Mary: Oh! Oh --

Jason: You're ok.

Mary: I had a nightmare. Oh!

Jason: But you're fine now. You're just dreaming.

Mary: Oh -- Jason -- oh, Jason --

Jason: What?

Mary: Oh, Jason, I just remembered something!

Jason: Remembered what?

Mary: Oh -- he -- he was -- he was kneeling over her and she was on the floor --

Jason: The night of the fire?

Mary: And he had the gun! Yes, and he was -- he was yelling at her!

Jason: Elizabeth?

Mary: Yes, he was yelling at her! He -- he was asking her where something was! He was asking her where something was! "Where's -- where's the watch? Where's the watch?" The watch -- he was asking her where the watch was!

Jason: The watch.
