Damian: Hey. Sorry to drop by like this. I just wanted to talk to you about a meeting I have today with -- that's not true.
Lily: What's not true?
Damian: There is no meeting. I just -- I just wanted to see you.
Lily: Honesty and an apology. You're off to a good start. I was just about to have a cup of coffee. Want to join me?
Damian: I'd love to.
Lily: Cream and sugar?
Damian: Yeah, thanks.
Lily: Be right back.
[Cell phone ringing]
Damian: It's not a good time now, Meg.
Meg: I know, and I'm sorry, but Officer Grady just called me.
Damian: Grady? Why?
Meg: Well, he wanted to know if my family wanted to press charges against you.
Damian: I didn't do anything wrong, Meg!
Meg: Well, that's how you see it, but you did withhold DNA test results that would have proven Holden was really alive.
Damian: Well, this is something we have to discuss later on. I'll call you back.
Lily: There you go.
Noah: Oh, my God. Am I glad to see you.
Luke: What? I'm just here for some free coffee.
Noah: I need a favor.
Noah: I forgot the books I need to film today, so I need to go to the bookstore really quick. Do you mind just watching my stuff?
Luke: Of course.
Noah: Thank you. Oh, there's one other thing.
Noah: I love you.
Luke: I love you, too. I still want my free coffee!
Mason: You were awesome. You were awesome. You were awesome. You were awesome! You nailed that take!
Noah: Come on. You think?
Mason: Oh, the student has become the master.
Luke: I'm really not in the mood right now, Mason.
Mason: I just want to talk.
Luke: Well, that's tough, 'cause I have nothing to say to you.
Mason: Look, this isn't about you or me. It's about Noah, and if you really care about him, you will hear me out.
Jack: I got this one.
Mike: Come on, Jack. You don't have to do that.
Jack: Mike, I dropped in on you out of nowhere. It's the least I can do.
Mike: All right. Leave me the tip.
Jack: Absolutely not. I got it. It's fine.
Anna: I should probably get her home. It's almost time for her morning nap.
Mike: Yeah. I should get going, too.
Anna: Where's the crew gonna be today?
Mike: Out near the west end market.
Anna: I didn't know they were doing construction over there.
Mike: We're just remodeling, tearing up some floors, knocking out walls, stuff like that.
Anna: All right. Well, thanks so much for breakfast, Jack.
Jack: My pleasure.
Anna: It's been so nice to finally meet you. Do you really have to leave today?
Jack: I'm afraid so, yeah.
Anna: Well, you take care of yourself. Good seeing you. Bye, Sweetheart.
Mike: Bye. Okay. Be good for mommy, little Caroline. Bye.
Jack: You want to tell me what that was about?
Jack: Telling Anna that you were working today.
Mike: She's not a big fan of racing. I don't want her to worry about it.
Jack: Okay. Buddy, I know it's probably not my place to say this, but I really don't think it's wise to lie to your wife.
Mike: You're right, Jack. What I do is none of your damn business.
Carly: So, you're sure that Jack went to South Carolina to see Mike. Do you have that address? Oh, you, Ben Harris, are an absolute lifesaver. You really are. Yep. Yep. I got it. No, I don't know what I'm gonna do. I just know that Parker's so worried that I had to follow up. [Knock on door] I got to go. Thank you so much for the address. Bye. Wow. You've got a lot of nerve.
Rosanna: I know I'm the last person on earth that you want to see right now.
Carly: Second to last.
Rosanna: Fair enough.
Carly: I'm not trying to be fair. What is that?
Rosanna: It's a peace offering.
Carly: You sleep with my fiancé and you bring me muffins? Wouldn't a basket of tarts have been more appropriate?
Rosanna: I know it's crazy of me to think that you would be receptive to seeing me right now.
Carly: And yet here you are.
Rosanna: I was just hoping that maybe you and I could just sit down and talk.
Carly: About what, Rosanna, the weather?
Rosanna: Craig told me that he was here yesterday and the two of you made a little progress, and I was hoping that maybe you and I could build on that.
Carly: Progress? Is that what he called it? Now, that's interesting.
Carly: So, what about when you're in bed with Rosanna and she's curled up in your arms? Don't you ever lean down to whisper in the dark and forget that you're with her and not me?
Craig: Yes. Yes, it's Craig Montgomery. Can you tell me if Rosanna Cabot is having breakfast in the lounge? She left? No, no, no. Thank you. I think I know where she's gone.
Rosanna: Look, Carly, I know what I've done must seem unforgivable.
Carly: Oh, now you're worried that I might not be able to forgive you? That didn't occur to you the first time that Craig touched you, the first time that he kissed you, the first time that he took you to bed?
Rosanna: Carly, I'm so sorry. You're my sister. I love you. I can't lose you. You mean more to me than --
Carly: Craig? Right. You've already made that choice, haven't you?
Rosanna: It wasn't like a choice. It didn't feel like a choice. It felt like falling in love. It just took me completely by surprise. It wasn't anything either one of us were expecting.
Carly: Then why is it so predictable somehow? [Knock on door] Speak of the devil. What do you want?
Craig: I want to talk to Rosanna.
Rosanna: Craig, you shouldn't be here.
Craig: I'm worried about you.
Rosanna: I'm doing fine, okay? I want to talk to my sister, alone.
Carly: Oh, no, no. You should stay. Please stay. This is too good. Rosanna was just telling me how sorry she is for falling in love with you. She was begging me to forgive her.
Craig: You don't need to beg anyone's forgiveness.
Carly: Well, I think she got the idea from you. Apparently she's under the impression that you and I came to some kind of understanding yesterday. Do you want to tell her how that happened or shall I?
Craig: I'm not gonna play this game with you, Carly.
Carly: What game? I'm just wondering what you told Rosanna about our conversation.
Craig: I said that's enough. Stop it.
Carly: Oh, I'm sorry. I don't want to upset you.
Craig: No, that's exactly what you're trying to do, and it's not gonna work.
Carly: Well, it seems to be, especially from where I'm standing.
Craig: We told you that we're sorry. We regret what we've done. But that obviously doesn't matter to you.
Carly: You told me I could trust you, both of you, and all that time you were sleeping together behind my back.
Rosanna: Come on. You're acting like this is something that we planned.
Carly: Well, it's not something you tried to stop, is it? You kept it going. You covered it up. You lied about it.
Craig: And that was a mistake. Lying to you was a mistake. No one's denying that. We were trying to find a way to make this easier on you.
Carly: Baloney. I was the last person you were thinking about.
Rosanna: Look, can we just stop this. This isn't getting us anywhere. We're sorry. We're really sorry, we are, for all of it.
Craig: Hold on. Hold on. Apologizing to her for keeping the truth from her, that's one thing, but we're not sorry that we're in love. We're not sorry we're together.
Carly: Careful, Craig. You might ruin some of that progress we made.
Rosanna: You should go. I want to talk to my sister alone.
Craig: No. I'm not gonna leave you here. You want to deal with this, we'll do it together.
Mike: Sorry, Jack. I don't mean to be that way.
Jack: No. Hey, listen, I'm the last person you should have to explain yourself to.
Mike: It's just you show up down here out of the blue wanting to talk to me about Katie. I mean, you don't even stop to think that maybe my life's different now. Now I got a wife and a baby that I didn't have before, and they're everything to me.
Jack: And I know that you had wanted your own family for a long time.
Mike: Yeah, I have. Things may not be perfect, but they're close enough.
Jack: Are you ever gonna tell me what happened to your hand?
Mike: It wasn't my hand I injured. It was a freak thing. I got my arm caught in between a wall and a forklift and tore my rotator cuff. I had surgery to repair it. Tremors started after that.
Jack: Well, what do your doctors say?
Mike: It's something I'm gonna have to live with.
Jack: Sorry. You have definitely been dealt your share of bad luck.
Mike: I don't want you to worry about me, Jack. I'll be fine, all right? But I do need to get going. Good seeing you, Jack.
Jack: It's good seeing you, too.
Mike: And I'm sorry. I'm sorry to hear about Brad. From what I know about him, he was a really good guy, and I know he made Katie really happy. That's still the craziest wedding I've ever been a part of. Would you tell Katie -- tell her I'm thinking about her, okay?
Jack: I will.
Mike: All right. Look, look, look. I know that you wanted me to be the guy to tell Katie that, I don't know, love is still possible, but --
Jack: But you're not, all right? You've got a family of your own now. I get that.
Mike: I know, but even if I didn't have a wife and a baby, I still wouldn't be the right guy for the job.
Jack: Who would be?
Mike: I can't believe I'm gonna say this, but the guy you need to be looking for is Simon Frasier.
Jack: No. No way, no way, no.
Mike: I know you're not a fan of his.
Jack: Oh, that's an understatement.
Mike: Look, Jack. Look. I've been thinking about this a lot. Even when I was with Katie, I never really had her. She gave her piece of her heart to that guy and she never got it back.
Jack: You need to go.
Mike: Yeah. Take care of yourself, Jack.
Jack: You too.
Luke: So, what do you want to talk about, Mason -- how you admitted that you want my boyfriend or how you put the moves on him?
Mason: I didn't put the moves on him.
Luke: Oh, really? Well, what else would you call kissing one of your students, then?
Mason: Let's not do that, okay?
Luke: You know what? You're right. Let's not do that. Let's not do any of this.
Mason: Would you sit, please? Luke, this is important or I wouldn't be here. Please sit. You know how important this film is to Noah. It's his senior thesis. If it goes well, it's gonna open a lot of doors for him professionally.
Luke: Yeah, Mason. I know that. What's your point?
Mason: When you're on set, you're all he can think about. He doesn't need to deal with that today. There's too much at stake.
Luke: Mason, I am not stupid. I know what you're doing.
Mason: What I'm doing is trying to protect Noah.
Luke: Well, Noah doesn't need you to protect him from me.
Mason: He does if you're gonna let your insecurities get in the way and ruin it!
Damian: It's me.
Meg: Well, thank you for calling me back.
Damian: Yeah, well, I'm just concerned that this Officer Grady is harassing you.
Meg: I think I've managed to put him off for now, but he's not gonna stop calling me until he gets some answers.
Damian: Damn it.
Meg: Look, I want to help you, Damian, but I'm really worried that I'm gonna say something wrong.
Damian: Can't you just tell him that the family decided not to press charges against me?
Meg: And what if he doesn't believe me? This whole thing could spiral out of control so fast.
Lily: We're out of muffins. Will a bagel do?
Damian: Uh, yeah. Great, thanks.
Meg: Are you at a meeting?
Damian: Yeah. I can't talk for much longer.
Meg: Okay. What if Grady calls me back?
Damian: If he does, just don't answer your phone. Look, I'm almost done here. I'll call you as soon as I get back to my place, okay? I'm afraid I'm about to become more trouble than I'm worth.
Lily: You changed your mind about the bagel?
Damian: That was the office. An important meeting has been pushed up, and I need to get over there.
Damian: But I really, really want to make this up to you.
Lily: Damian, it's a bagel.
Damian: I want to. Let me take you out to dinner tonight. We haven't really had a chance to talk after the hearing.
Lily: No, we haven’t.
Damian: And there's still so much we need to figure out. We're still married. I'd love to spend some time with my wife.
Lily: Okay. We'll have dinner tonight.
Damian: That's great. I'll call you.
Lily: Meg, what are you doing here?
Meg: Well, it's embarrassing, but I was about to knock on your door and I saw Damian was here and I panicked. I didn't want him to see me.
Lily: Why not?
Meg: Because I didn't come here for a fight, and I was afraid he was gonna accuse me of having some ulterior motive for being here.
Lily: Do you?
Meg: No. I was hoping that you and I would have a chance to talk.
Lily: Just not in front of Damian.
Meg: Okay. I see this was a mistake. I'm sorry to bother you.
Lily: Wait a minute, Meg. Damian's gone. He's not coming back. What is it that you wanted to talk to me about?
Noah: Get off of him! What are you doing? Are you okay?
Luke: You're worried about him?
Mason: I'm fine. No harm done.
Luke: I should have ripped your stupid scarf.
Mason: Your boyfriend's got a bit of a temper.
Luke: Oh, come on, Mason. You deserved it.
Noah: Luke, come on. Please. Can you just give us a couple of minutes?
Mason: Take all the time you want. I'll see him on set.
Noah: What happened?
Luke: That guy is such a jerk.
Noah: So, what, you thought you'd just beat him up?
Luke: You didn't hear what he said to me!
Noah: I don't care!
Luke: Noah, how can you say that? You're my boyfriend. You're supposed to be on my side.
Noah: Yeah, and you're supposed to be on mine.
Luke: I am!
Noah: And this is how you show it, by attacking my college advisor?
Luke: Oh, come on. He's not your advisor. He's just some creep who has the hots for you.
Noah: Okay, that is not the point.
Luke: Yes, it is.
Noah: I need him right now.
Luke: You need him?
Noah: Yes, for my film. I need him.
Luke: Oh, okay.
Noah: Look, this is my senior thesis, okay? It's my entire life right now.
Luke: Yeah, but you didn't even ask what he said to me!
Noah: Okay, fine. What did he say?
Luke: He said, basically, that I shouldn't come on set because I'm a total distraction and I'd ruin your entire film.
Noah: Yeah, well, you know, he's right.
Luke: Are you serious?
Noah: Yeah, I am.
Luke: So, wait a minute. Wait a minute. You're choosing him over us?
Noah: I can't do this right now, all right? I've got to get to set.
Luke: Well, do you want me to go with you or not?
Noah: You know what? Right now you would be a big distraction because the whole time I would be waiting for you to take another swing at Mason.
Luke: All right. Then I won't hold you up.
Craig: All right. We're all adults here.
Carly: Don't you mean adulterers?
Craig: That's enough of the potshots, Carly. It's a small town. We're gonna have to get along.
Carly: Okay. Well, how about this -- you stay out of my way, I'll stay out of yours.
Craig: That's a great idea. That means no more fighting and no more offering up apologies or begging for forgiveness and no more sexual torture. We all have to move on with our lives.
Carly: And accept things the way they are?
Craig: Unless you have a problem with that.
Carly: If I do?
Craig: Then that's on you. Come on, Rosanna. We're done here.
Byers: You owe me, Kasnoff, and I'm done waiting.
Mike: I just need a little more time.
Byers: How about I put it in terms you can understand.
Mike: Threatening me would be a big mistake.
Byers: Win this race, pay me my money, or get your wife and kids out of my house.
Mike: You go anywhere near that house or my family, I swear to God I'll kill you.
Jack: Hey! Back it up! Everybody back it up.
Byers: Vroom, vroom, hotshot. I'm watching you.
Jack: Mike, you cool?
Mike: Yeah, I'm cool.
Jack: What's going on?
Jack: Hey, Mike. You need to put that down.
Mike: Excuse me?
Jack: You shouldn't be here.
Mike: Jack, I don't need a babysitter!
Jack: What you need is a reality check. Look at your hand. Do you think it's smart for you to get behind the wheel of this car?
Mike: You know what? I thought we settled this. My life isn't your business.
Jack: Mike, I'm your friend. What am I supposed to do, walk away?
Mike: Yes! Is that so difficult? I already told you, I can't help you with Katie, and you sure as hell can't help me, but for some reason you're still stuck on trying to save the day.
Jack: No, that's not what I'm trying to do at all!
Mike: Whatever, Jack. Looks like you're the one with the problem here, not me.
Carly: Hi, Parker. It's Mom. No, no. Everything's okay. I think I may know where your father is, and if I can get somebody to stay here, will you help watch your sister for a couple of days? Just a couple of days. I know you're worried, Sweetheart. That's why I'm doing this. One way or another, I'm gonna bring your father home, where he belongs.
Meg: I'm tired of all this fighting between us, Lily.
Lily: I don't like it either, Meg.
Meg: I mean, we're not teenagers anymore. We shouldn't be at each other's throats like this.
Lily: Well, then, you need to explain a few things to me. When we all thought Holden was dead, we were all devastated, but you acted like I didn't even care. I was falling apart, and you questioned my feelings for Holden. You resented Damian for caring about me, and you turned me into the enemy.
Meg: And you didn't see me the same way all those times you tried to warn me away from Damian?
Lily: Meg, I wanted to protect you. I didn't want to see you get hurt.
Meg: Yeah, because you knew that Damian was still in love with you.
Lily: It wasn't that simple. Did a part of me know? Yes, I sensed that he still had feelings for me.
Meg: Well, a part of me wishes that I had listened to you when Damian finally admitted the truth. I won't lie, it hurt.
Lily: Meg, I am so sorry that you got caught up in the middle of this. I really am.
Lily: Just be careful. Damian has a way of turning your head around, making you do things that you never thought you would do. I just want to put all this behind us.
Luke: Hey. I wanted to fill you in on the meeting we had yesterday.
Damian: Is that all that's on your mind?
Damian: Seem a little preoccupied.
Luke: It's not important.
Damian: Hey, you can talk to me, son.
Luke: Noah and I had a fight.
Damian: About what?
Luke: Mason Jarvis.
Damian: His advisor.
Luke: Yeah, the guy's such a sleaze.
Damian: And Noah doesn't see it?
Luke: Or he doesn't want to, and whenever I tried to bring it up, I'm the bad guy.
Damian: Listen, you're concerned about your relationship. That doesn't make you the bad guy.
Luke: Yeah, well, try telling that to Noah. At first he told me that Mason was completely innocent, he was just some big flirt, and I had nothing to worry about.
Damian: And now?
Luke: And now, ever since filming started, everything's changed.
Damian: What do you mean?
Luke: Here, take a look.
Damian: What's that?
Luke: This is the last moments of filming from yesterday.
Mason: You were awesome. You were awesome! You nailed that take!
Noah: Come on. You think?
Mason: Oh, the student has become the master.
Luke: Does that look innocent to you?
Rosanna: You know, I was actually making a little bit of progress with her before you barged in.
Craig: I only went over there to support you.
Rosanna: Oh, really? Well, that's just fantastic, because all you ended up doing was adding fuel to the fire.
Craig: I'm just trying to find a reasonable way to approach the situation.
Rosanna: By telling her that we're not gonna apologize to her anymore? Come on! We hurt her! We betrayed her trust?
Craig: What am I supposed to do, apologize to her every time I see her? I won't do that. Now, I am genuinely sorry that she got hurt, but I also want us to move on with our lives.
Rosanna: Why did you draw such a line in the sand with her?
Craig: Because apologizing every ten seconds isn't gonna change a thing. You know, she's not the wounded bird that you're making her out to be either. She's not doing anything to make the situation more tolerable, believe me.
Rosanna: Hmm. And is it all that sexual torture that makes the situation so intolerable?
Craig: Excuse me?
Rosanna: I'm sorry. Am I misquoting you? That is what you accused Carly of doing, isn't it?
Jack: Come on. Look at yourself, man. You're in no condition to race this car.
Mike: I don't have a choice.
Jack: Who's that guy you were fighting with before?
Mike: Jim Byers. He loaned me the money I need to cover the mortgage.
Jack: Now you can't pay him back.
Mike: You got it. If I don't, he's gonna end up with the deed to our house, and we'll be out on the street.
Jack: That's why you're doing this?
Mike: I have to win this race, Jack. I need the prize money.
Jack: Yeah? What about your hand? It flares up out there, you're not gonna be able to control this thing.
Mike: I haven't been able to control anything since the accident. This race won't be any different.
Jack: Okay, forget about your hand. You ought to have your head examined.
Jack: You got a better chance of killing yourself out there than you do at winning this race, and you know it.
Anna: Hi. May I help you?
Carly: Yeah. I think I have the wrong house.
Anna: Who are you looking for?
Carly: Mike Kasnoff. You're clearly not him.
Anna: No, but I know him.
Carly: You do?
Anna: I should hope so. I'm his wife.
Carly: You're his wife!
Anna: Anna Kasnoff.
Carly: Hi. How do you do? And who's this in there?
Anna: Our daughter, Caroline.
Carly: That's a beautiful name.
Anna: You know my husband?
Carly: I do. I'm here looking for a friend of his, though -- Jack Snyder.
Anna: You must be Carly!
Carly: Yes, I am. How did you know that?
Anna: Mike told me all about you. He said wherever Jack goes, you're not far behind, and I have to say I'm glad it's true.
Carly: Why is that?
Anna: Because I think Jack needs you.
Jack: You want to turn Anna into a widow, leave Caroline without a father? Why don't you call Katie and ask her how it's working out for her? Or better yet, why don't you call Anna and see what she feels about it?
Mike: You think I like lying to my wife? I don't, but she hasn't exactly been very honest with me either. You know what she goes down to the Harvest Hope food bank in town once a week? She tells me she's going to the supermarket to spare my feelings, but I know where our food's coming from, Jack.
Jack: There's no shame in getting help when you need it, Mike.
Mike: Yeah? I'm tired of needing help, all right? I want to be able to provide for my family on my own.
Jack: Mike, I'm gonna be honest with you. It's too dangerous.
Mike: Do you know how much time I put in to that engine? Nobody's gonna catch us. This baby is gonna fly.
Jack: Yeah, right into a wall if your hand starts shaking!
Mike: I think you need to leave, Jack.
Jack: Not until you call Anna and tell her what you're doing!
Mike: Do you think you can just come down here and start telling me how to live my life? Go home. Put your own life back together before you make it your mission to fix everyone else's problems. And you know what? Quit hiding out here like some sort of coward.
Carly: She is so pretty. I can't believe that Mike is married now, that he has an adorable little girl.
Anna: She's the light of his life.
Carly: I always knew he'd be a great father.
Anna: He's been amazing, even when it hasn't been easy.
Carly: What do you mean?
Anna: Balancing work, marriage, and a new baby. Tell me, how do you do it?
Carly: I don't know what you mean.
Anna: How do you keep it going after all these years?
Carly: Oh, no. You're really asking the wrong person. Jack and I, we're not together anymore.
Anna: I'm sorry. I didn't know.
Carly: It's okay. It's been a long time. He's married to somebody else now.
Anna: And yet you're here and she's not.
Carly: I didn't say it wasn't complicated.
Anna: So I see. But you're still worried about him.
Carly: You said that you thought he was in trouble. Did he say something to you?
Anna: No. It was just something that I picked up on. He's here alone. He hasn't mentioned anyone from back home or said anything really about his personal life.
Carly: Do you know where he is?
Anna: I saw him a little while ago. He took us to breakfast.
Carly: So he's still here, then.
Anna: I don't think so. He said he was moving on.
Carly: Did he happen to say where he was headed?
Anna: Not to me, but you know what? Maybe he said something to Mike. Let me call him and find out.
Jack: Sorry, man. It's for your own good.
[Cell phone ringing]
Jack: No, Anna. It's Jack.
Anna: Jack. What are you doing answering Mike's phone?
Jack: Don't worry. Everything's fine.
Anna: Is Mike there?
Jack: Mike is unavailable to come to the phone at the moment.
Anna: Are you at the construction site?
Jack: Anna, do you know where the racetrack is?
Anna: What are you doing there?
Jack: Just get here as soon as you can.
Anna: Jack, where's Mike?
Jack: You'll find him in the hospitality suite.
Anna: The what? What is -- something's going on. I have to get to the racetrack.
Carly: Well, if that's where Jack is, I'm gonna come with you.
Craig: You don't see what Carly's doing? She's playing on your fears.
Rosanna: My fears?
Craig: She thinks you're afraid that you can't trust me, and she's using that to turn us against each other. What do you know? It's working. We're already fighting.
Rosanna: I'm not fighting. I'm having a spirited discussion with you.
Craig: A spirited discussion that we don't need to have. We can't do this to each other, Rosanna. Carly's entitled to her feelings, but we're entitled to be happy. I love you. I'm proud of us and humbled.
Craig: By the idea that you can love me back, yes, I am. We've kept our secret for so long. I'm glad it's out there. I'm glad Carly knows.
Rosanna: I just hope she can accept it.
Craig: She's gonna be fine. She's a lot stronger than you think. Right now the only thing I'm concerned about is the beautiful, intelligent, amazing woman named Rosanna Cabot, and I'm not gonna let anyone ruin this.
Noah: First shot size about here. Hey, Mason. Why is the dean here?
Dean: I was wondering if I could have a word with you.
Mason: Actually, we were just about to start shooting, Sir. Any chance this could wait?
Dean: Well, seeing as I need to speak to you, no.
Mason: Me? Why?
Noah: Is everything okay?
Dean: Let's continue this discussion in my office.
Lily: Hey. I didn't hear you come in. Aren't you supposed to be at work?
Luke: Damian let me take the day off.
Lily: Are you okay?
Luke: I've been better. You?
Lily: About the same.
Luke: What's wrong?
Lily: Oh, I'm just having trouble sorting some things out with your father.
Luke: Which father?
Lily: Both of them, actually, but talking about Holden right now.
Luke: What's going on? I mean, I know your marriage was annulled.
Lily: You know. The other kids don't know, and, oh, Luke, how am I gonna do that? How am I gonna explain to them that their father's back but he won't be living here anymore? How do I reassure them that we're still a family?
Luke: Especially with Damian living here.
Luke: Well, you are still married, aren't you?
Lily: Yeah, but we haven't made any decisions about our future.
Luke: Look, I know that this marriage means a lot to Damian. He wants to fight for it.
Lily: How do you feel about it, Luke?
Luke: Well, I can't deny that I would really love for you and Dad to be back together, but if you feel that Damian can make you happy, I think I'm the last person that would stand in your way.
Damian: Meg, come in.
Meg: Sorry just to stop by like this, but I didn't know what else to do.
Damian: I was about to call you. Have you heard from Grady again?
Damian: Great. Maybe he's decided to let this go.
Meg: I don't think so, Damian. He was hell-bent on letting my family know that his team did not make a mistake I.D.ing Holden's body.
Damian: You're shaking.
Meg: That's because I'm freaking out. I'm not only lying to Grady. Now I'm lying to my own family, too. If they found out that you knew it wasn't Holden's body they found at that crash site --
Damian: Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. I was never fully sure, Meg.
Meg: You got the results of the DNA test. You didn't tell anyone!
Damian: Because tests can be wrong!
Meg: You knew, Damian. And I'm not sure I should be hiding that from the people I'm supposed to love.
Damian: Please, Meg. Don't let me down. You've done so much for me already.
Meg: That's because I'm your friend and I care about you.
Damian: I never knew how much until now.
[Cell phone ringing]
Meg: It's Grady. What do I do? Do I answer it?
Noah: Is this because we shot on campus the other day without a permit, because that was my fault. That was a spur-of-the-moment thing. We were driving by, and we saw the shot, so we stopped.
Dean: Noah, I'm just gonna cut to the chase here.
Noah: Yeah, okay.
Dean: Has Professor Jarvis ever acted inappropriately towards you?
Luke: So, does this mean that you and Damian are gonna stay together?
Lily: He's been there for me, Luke. I mean, he hasn't blamed me for the situation, and he's always tried to make our marriage work.
Luke: Mom, for what it's worth, I think he's a good guy.
Lily: You didn't always feel that way, baby.
Luke: Yeah, but these last couple months, he's really been there for me, you know, like a real dad, and I know how much he's helped you, so if you honestly feel that you can be happy with Damian, I'm all for it.
Lily: Thank you, Sweetheart.
[Cell phone rings]
Damian: I can't let you answer that.
Damian: I think you know why.
Meg: Because you want me to keep protecting you.
Damian: No, because it would ruin the moment.
Carly: Does she know how to do the things I did for you? More importantly, does she want to?
Rosanna: Craig? Craig, are you okay?
Craig: Yeah, yeah. I'm fine. It's just, you're so beautiful.
Rosanna: Make love to me, now.
Carly: You're lucky your neighbor could watch the baby for a few minutes.
Anna: Jack made it seem like this is important. Hello?
Carly: Are you sure this is the right place?
Anna: Yeah. Why don't you go look in there.
Anna: Oh, my God, Carly! Mike. Mike, wake up. Mike.
Carly: What the hell happened to him, and where's Jack?
Man: Who are you?
Jack: Filling in for Mike Kasnoff.
Man: You're gonna be racing this car?
Jack: That's right.
On the next "As the World Turns" --
Holden: I hired a lawyer today. I want joint custody of the kids.
Damian: Right now nothing is more important than you.
Noah: The dean fired you?
Mason: Sexual misconduct.
Noah: Why did you give the dean the exact ammunition he needed to shut down my film?
Jack: Carly, what are you doing here?
Carly: I'm trying to stop the father of my children from making a big mistake. We have to do something to stop him.
