Brad: I mean, it shouldn't be hard to find this "Mysterious instant messenger."
Katie: Would you please stop thinking about it?
Brad: Not while our lives are being wrecked. No.
Katie: He told us to back off. We don't' know what he's gonna do if we donít.
Brad: We don't even know if it's a "He."
Katie: Can you just forget about it, please?
Brad: Katie, people think I murdered someone that is still alive. How can I just -- how can I just forget about that? And if this instant messenger has set me up and --
[Knock on door]
Brad: I'll get it.
Henry: Now I know I'm great at just about everything, but this time I've amazed even myself.
Brad: What are you talking about?
Henry: My contacts came through and we have found Spencer's brother.
Brad: That's great.
Henry: Look, I know. Am I incredible or what?
Brad: Where is he? Where is he?
Henry: I set up a meeting.
Katie: Don't even think about it!
Brad: Okay, what are you talking about? This is the first solid lead that we have found.
Katie: I don't care. Thank you for your effort, Henry, but we are not interested.
Brad: Yes, yes we are. Katie's scared because she --
Katie: No, it doesn't matter! Thank you, again. We will talk to you soon.
Henry: Look, ah -- I went through a lot of trouble here! So, which one of you is going to meet the thug?
Josie: This is so good. The Lakeview is great, but I've never been much of a cloth-napkin type of girl. I wonder how I knew that? Anyway, diner food sure feels so much more normal than room service from a fancy hotel.
Dusty: Tell me about it. Especially with the holidays coming up.
Josie: What holidays? I'm sorry. I couldn't resist.
Josie: Well, somebody's gotta lighten the mood around here, and it's definitely not going to be you.
Dusty: Just remembering what the holidays used to be like.
Josie: Yeah, I wish I could.
Dusty: I wish you could, too.
Josie: It's going to be a pretty bleak Thanksgiving if it's just you and me and the bus boys at the Lakeview.
Dusty: There's always the 24-hour truck stop.
Josie: Sounds festive.
Dusty: Don't kid yourself. They bake a mean pumpkin pie.
Josie: Well, you know everybody in this town, I'm sure you'll get invited somewhere.
Dusty: I hope not.
Josie: Hey, you know what we should do? We should just drive somewhere and come back when it's all over. Sorry.
Dusty: For what?
Josie: For thinking you'd want to have Thanksgiving with me.
Dusty: Well it depends. Are you going to be this perky?
Josie: The perk comes with the package, Donovan.
Dusty: Then I guess I'll just have to suffer through it.
Katie: Just give a message to Spencer's brother --
Henry: The thug.
Katie: That we've decided to let sleeping dogs lie.
Henry: Why do I get the feeling that snoozing puppies aren't the only ones lying around here?
Katie: The point is, the charges against Brad were dropped, so what difference does it make if Spencer's alive or dead?
Henry: You really don't care if her body was carried out of the morgue, or it walked out by itself?
Katie: No. No, we don't care. Right? Brad is off the hook, so we would just like to forget about this thing and move on with our lives.
Henry: Now, you're awfully quiet.
Brad: Got nothing to say.
Henry: Now I know there's something definitely wrong with the soundtrack around here.
Katie: Henry, please, let it go.
Henry: Do you want me to cancel the meeting?
Katie: Yes, we do. I'm sorry that you went to all this trouble, Henry. Please, give our best to Vienna.
Henry: Sure, fine. Once it's over though, it is over. So, don't have a change of mind, okay?
Katie: We wonít. We wonít.
Brad: We can't run from this, Katie. Look, I know you're scared --
Katie: I don't want anything to happen to you! I love you too much to lose you.
Brad: You don't got to worry about that.
Katie: Good. All right, I've got to go to the studio. Kim wants me to do some holiday promos.
Brad: Oh, yeah. To give the audience hope that you'll be back?
Katie: That we'll be back.
Brad: Yeah, well, she didn't ask me.
Katie: It's okay. Once all this who thing blows over, she'll ask us back.
Brad: I'm not so sure.
Katie: She has to. The audience loves us.
Brad: They did.
Katie: They still do. Actually, will you take me? Um, there's something wrong with the car.
Brad: Since when?
Katie: Since yesterday. The brakes are squeaking and I'm really freaked out about driving with it that way, so can you take me?
Brad: You just don't want to let me out of your sight.
Katie: I love looking at you. Sue me.
Brad: That's not what I meant.
Katie: I'm gonna go get ready.
Henry: I had a feeling I'd be hearing from you.
Brad: Hey, did you cancel that meeting?
Henry: Not yet.
Brad: Good. Donít.
Dr. Schiller: Perfectly normal. Whatever you're doing, it's working.
Meg: All the credit goes to my husband.
Paul: Yeah, that's right. That's me, I'm the calm one, Mr. Calm.
Meg: Are we done?
Dr. Schiller: After we do another sonogram.
Paul: You did a sonogram, like, two weeks ago.
Dr. Schiller: We like to do sonograms more frequently in high-risk pregnancies.
Paul: Okay, I don't like that phrase at all.
Dr. Schiller: It sounds worse than it is.
Meg: Paul's in charge of all the worrying.
Dr. Schiller: Excellent division of responsibilities.
Paul: Yeah, well, nothing's more important than making sure that Meg and this baby are okay. Nothing.
Dusty: So where should we go?
Josie: I mean serious, Dusty. I understand if you want to stay here.
Dusty: I donít.
Josie: Well then, you pick the place.
Dusty: It was your idea. Where have you always wanted to go? Oh, yeah. Sorry.
Josie: I don't know. I have a strange feeling that I once had a great time in Tampa, but -- what? Too hot?
Dusty: No, I once had a great time there, too -- with Jennifer.
Josie: I'm sorry. Tampa just popped into my head, I don't know why.
Dusty: Well, you said you remember it?
Josie: Just a vague feeling that I was there.
Dusty: But you remember having a good time.
Josie: I wouldn't even call it a memory.
Dusty: Yeah, well, still, it's amazing.
Josie: I think it's a bad idea.
Josie: Because, I was trying to cheer us both up and I became little miss letdown again. It's like I can't stop reminding you of your loss.
Dusty: I think we should go.
Josie: The point was to avoid spending Thanksgiving surrounded by unhappy memories.
Dusty: Tampa was one of the happiest times of my life.
Josie: Except that Jennifer died and you would be there with me.
Dusty: I want to be there with you.
Josie: Because I remind you of her.
Dusty: I know you're not her. The more time I spend with you, the more I see that.
Josie: Is that a good thing or a bad thing?
Dusty: What do you think?
Josie: Okay, I promise to stop blurting out every vague memory that pops into my head.
Dusty: I want you to. Dr. Hughes says those are triggers that may bring your memory back.
Josie: Well, they seem to be bringing your memories back more than mine.
Dusty: I want to know what you remember. Unless you donít.
Josie: I do.
Dusty: Then let's start with Tampa. What do you say?
Josie: Okay. When do we leave?
Dusty: Right now.
Josie: And what, we just go to the airport and wait for the next flight?
Dusty: I have my own jet, remember?
Josie: That is supposed to be for company business.
Dusty: I own the company. Let's go to Tampa.
Katie: I am really happy that you listened to me and didn't go running off with Henry to meet that guy.
Brad: You -- you felt strongly about it.
Katie: Those I.M.s really scare me.
Brad: Don't worry about it. Looks like you're up.
P.A.: Okay, Katie, we are set.
Katie: Hi, I'm Katie Snyder from "Oakdale Now," and all of us here at WOAK would like to wish you a happy new year.
P.A.: Um, Kim said we're going to start these right after Thanksgiving, so --
Katie: Oh, yes, right, sorry. Keep rolling. Hi, I'm Katie Snyder from "Oakdale Now," and from all of us here at WOAK, we'd like to wish you happy holidays and a fabulous new year.
Dr. Schiller: Okay, there's the head and a hand. Let's get this baby to move. Oh, there we go. She's definitely not as modest as she was the last time.
Dr. Schiller: Oh, yes. You are definitely having a girl.
Meg: Hard to believe.
Paul: Yeah. She's gorgeous. Look at her, she looks just like her mother.
Meg: You can't really tell from the sonogram.
Paul: Of course I can. And everything is supposed --
Dr. Schiller: Everything's just fine.
Dr. Schiller: Here, I'll give you a picture. Here we go.
Paul: Look at that. That's our daughter.
Meg: Yeah. That's hard to believe.
Dr. Schiller: I'm going to leave you two alone, and I'll see you next week.
Meg: Okay, thank you.
Paul: Thank you, Doctor. We're having a little girl.
Meg: I know. I know!
Paul: We're having a little girl!
Meg: I know!
Brad: The meeting still on?
Henry: Yeah, as far as I know.
Henry: How did you get Katie to change her mind?
Brad: Well, she didnít.
Henry: Brad --
Brad: She's spooked. She thinks something bad's going to happen if I don't back off.
Henry: Maybe she's right.
Brad: Well, she's not the one being blacklisted.
Henry: I totally get that, but you know what happens when we go behind Katie's back.
Brad: Look, are you afraid of this guy?
Henry: No, I'm afraid of Katie.
Brad: There is no way that I'm gonna let Spencer McKay ruin my life.
Henry: Maybe it's not just her, you know?
Brad: Well, that's something that I have to find out. Where's the meeting? Where is the meeting?
Henry: I got the address. Let's go.
Brad: No, no, I'm going to go alone.
Henry: You're not going alone.
Brad: No, it's my fight.
Henry: And it's my fight, too. You're my friend.
Brad: I appreciate that, but you've done more than enough already. If this guy sees two of us and bolts then I lose this shot.
Henry: You realize my life is in your hands, don't you? Because if anything happens to you, Katie will kill me.
Brad: I'll be fine.
Henry: Be careful, please. And call me. Call me when all this is done.
Katie: Did you know that one in five lower income households purchases no fruits and vegetables? Well, v8 is on a mission to help all Americans make every serving count. That's why v8 is teaming up with feeding America to provide over 30 million servings of fresh vegetables and fruit to local food banks across the country. So, make sure you eat your fruits and vegetables, and have a happy, healthy holiday.
P.A.: And we're out.
Katie: Okay, where's Brad? Is he in the office?
P.A.: Um, he left when we started.
Katie: He left? Damn it!
P.A.: We have two more promos to do!
Katie: I will come back and do them as soon as I make sure he's not making a mistake we're both going to regret.
Brad: Where is she?
Brad: I know she's alive.
Thug: I don't know who you're talking about.
Brad: Your sister! I saw her in Chicago.
Thug: I don't have a sister!
Brad: Look, you're going to tell me where she is and why she framed me for murder.
Thug: Listen, man, I'm being straight with you. I don't have a sister, I don't know what you're talking about!
Brad: God! Man, I'm done being played by you people! If you think you're just keep lying to me, think again!
Katie: Where is he?
Henry: Uh, who?
Katie: You know who! Did you send him to that meeting?
Henry: What do you mean, "Send?"
Katie: Don't doubletalk me, Henry, or I'll kill you.
Henry: I gave him the address.
Katie: Did he go?
Henry: He went. It's just a meeting. Come on.
Katie: These people are dangerous.
Henry: Brad can take care of himself.
Katie: No, he can't, or he wouldn't be in this mess, would he?
Henry: Listen, my contacts who arranged this entire meeting said it was very safe.
Katie: Oh, and we know what fine, upstanding, sleazeballs your contacts are.
Henry: Well, don't generalize. Sleazeballs have feelings too.
Katie: Do you have the address?
Henry: No, I gave it to Brad.
Katie: You don't have a copy?
Henry: He's gonna be fine. He's not in any danger.
Katie: No, you can't say that. You don't know who's after us.
Henry: Then tell me.
Katie: If Brad calls, just have him call me.
Henry: Katie, I'm trying to help you, Katie.
Katie: Well, donít. For your own sake.
Thug: Let go of me! I don't have a sister!
Brad: Then why did you bring her that package at the Lakeview hotel in Oakdale?
Thug: That's what you're talking about?
Brad: You know damn well!
Thug: I was paid to do that!
Brad: Why would she pay you?
Brad: Your -- God, your sister! Spencer McKay! Tell me where she is, and why did you bring her that package!
Thug: A guy hired me to do that!
Brad: Who was the guy? Who?
Thug: I don't know! Some dude, he came up to me at audition!
Brad: A what?
Thug: I'm an actor!
Brad: You're an actor?
Thug: That's right. Okay?
Brad: Who was this guy?
Thug: I don't know. He told me he'd give me a couple hundred to drop off that package.
Brad: Why you?
Thug: He wanted someone who looked tough. Look, if there is a roll for a heavy, I'm on the street. Okay? How come you think I need money?
Brad: Well, why would she say that youíre her brother?
Thug: Ask her.
Brad: No. Look it, tell me more about this guy.
Thug: I never saw him before. Or since. I'm telling you the truth!
Dani: Is this your room?
Henry: You know it's my -- well, what the hell are you doing?
Dani: Conducting a police investigation. And you are under arrest.
Henry: Whoa, whoa, whoa -- for what, Dani? For what?
Dani: Um, possession of stolen property. Obstruction of justice. Tampering with evidence. Impeding a police investigation. And concealing your knowledge of a crime.
Henry: I don't know anything about any of that.
Dani: Oh, really? Then, um, how did this scarf get here?
Henry: I have no idea.
Dani: Of course you donít. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law.
Henry: This is insane.
Dani: You have the right to have an attorney --
Henry: This is totally insane.
Dani: If you cannot afford one, one will be appointed to you.
Paul: We're having a girl.
Meg: Well, there was a 50-50 chance.
Paul: Yeah, I suppose. Still -- and thank you for letting me be there.
Meg: Well, she's your daughter, too.
Paul: She's my daughter.
Meg: Our daughter.
Meg: Would you like to name her Jennifer?
Paul: That's a very sweet suggestion. But no. This baby's about our future, not my past. Just so long as she's loved.
Meg: Okay, I have another suggestion.
Meg: How about if me and, um, baby girl Ryan move back home?
Paul: Really? You mean that?
Meg: If you want us.
Paul: I -- I've never wanted anything more in my life.
Josie: This blows my mind. I say Tampa and here we are.
Dusty: Yeah, you don't realize how much time you waste flying commercial until you own your own jet.
Josie: Yeah, well, I could get used to it.
Dusty: It's not hard.
Josie: You okay?
Dusty: So, what do you think of this place?
Josie: It's great for a hotel bar.
Dusty: Is that all it means to you?
Josie: Yeah, pretty much. You were here with Jennifer.
Dusty: Yeah, I thought you might have one those memory triggers.
Josie: I'm sorry. I keep disappointing you.
Dusty: No, you donít. Let's get a drink.
Josie: Oh, wait. There is one thing I recognize.
Dusty: What's that?
Josie: Karaoke. Have you ever tried it?
Dusty: I don't sing.
Josie: Oh, come on. Everybody sings. You just pretend that you're alone in your car.
Dusty: Yeah, but I'm not.
Josie: You're scared.
Dusty: Uh, call whatever you want.
Josie: Just try it.
Dusty: No. Sorry. But I'll be very happy listening to you. Give it a shot.
Josie: You don't think that I'll really do it.
Dusty: Well, I have my doubts.
Josie: Is that a dare?
Dusty: Call it whatever you want.
Josie: Okay, what's it worth to you?
Dusty: Dinner, wherever you want.
Josie: No, that's not fair, you're loaded.
Dusty: All right, well, you name the stakes.
Josie: Okay. If I do it, all day tomorrow, you are my cabana boy. You carry my luggage, you bring me drinks, towels, anything that I want.
Dusty: Why do I feel like I'm being suckered?
Josie: You're the one who dared me.
Josie: Any requests?
Dusty: I don't want to add any pressure.
Josie: Okay, you just get your running shoes ready.
Josie: You made me love you I didn't want to do it I didn't want to do it. You made me want you and all the time I've I guess you always knew it. You made me happy sometimes you make me glad.
Josie: I think I'll take my drink now. What, you're not backing out, are you? What's with the uncomfortable silence, was I that bad?
Dusty: Jennifer sang that song to me, right here.
Josie: My God. This is real, isn't it?
Dusty: I don't know. I know I didn't say anything to you about it.
Josie: It could still be a coincidence.
Dusty: Is that what you think it is?
Dusty: Me, neither.
Josie: This is starting to scare me.
Dusty: You and me both.
Paul: Really? You really want to move back in with me?
Meg: Yeah. I wouldn't say it if I didn't mean it.
Paul: Okay, when?
Meg: Um, how about now?
Paul: Now? Right now?
Meg: Uh, yeah. I'll go and pack.
Emma: Hi. Excuse me. You're back.
Emma: Hi, Paul.
Emma: So, how'd it go at the doctor?
Meg: Uh, it went very well.
Emma: That's wonderful! Mmm.
Paul: Can I get one of those?
Emma: Let me see.
Meg: The sonogram.
Emma: Oh. Look!
Meg: I know.
Emma: Aw, that's beautiful. Oh, we're going to have to think about getting that little crib down from the attic and putting it in your room!
Paul: You don't need to do that. Meg's coming home.
Emma: What do you mean?
Paul: She's moving back to Fairwinds with me.
Emma: When did all this happen?
Meg: Today. Just now. Mama, look at that sonogram. Look at how little your grandchild is. Our baby is lucky enough to have a mother and a father and needs us to be together. I'm gonna go pack.
Emma: Is there any reason why I shouldn't think this is a very bad idea?
Katie: Finally, make sure you wash off their paws when you come in from a walk. Those ice-melting chemicals can do some real damage. That's it. I'm Katie Snyder for WOAK. Thanks. Come on, Brad. Where are you?
Brad: I'm right here. You were really good --
Katie: You're okay.
Brad: Yeah, why shouldn't I be?
Katie: You lied to me!
Brad: Oh. Who told you, Henry?
Katie: Why did you go to that meeting?
Brad: I had -- I had to. Come here. Listen, I can't just be standing around doing nothing while Spencer's out there!
Katie: You promised me!
Brad: Listen, nothing happened.
Katie: That's not the point! You could've been killed.
Brad: No, listen, listen. The guy, he was just an actor.
Brad: Spencer's supposed brother. He was hired to deliver the package to her.
Katie: Hired by who?
Brad: Never even met the guy before.
Katie: So, he's not Spencer's brother?
Brad: He's never even met her, either.
Katie: So she lied.
Brad: Big surprise.
Katie: What is this all about?
Brad: See, that is what I'm trying to find out.
Katie: So, basically, you put yourself in danger for nothing.
Brad: There was no danger, except in your pretty, little head.
Katie: And in those I.M.s.
Brad: Well, doesn't that prove that they're bogus?
Katie: No, it proves that there's more to this than we thought.
Brad: Listen, I think -- I think that those messages came from Spencer. I mean, think about it. I mean, she pretends to be murdered. I show up, I end up getting charged, it wasn't part of the plan, so somehow, somehow, she ends up stealing the evidence and tells us to keep our mouths shut about it.
Katie: I don't know if she's doing it. But it scares me.
Brad: Okay. But you need to calm down. You're starting to sound like one of those conspiracy theorists that we had on last year. You know the ones that, they thought that global warming was caused by UFOs.
Katie: This isn't funny.
Brad: Well, it's also not scary. And when I find her --
Brad: Look --
Katie: No, you will not!
Brad: Look, I'm not gonna do nothing. I'm going to find that little psycho, and I'm gonna get my reputation back!
[Cell phone rings]
Henry: Hey, it's me.
Brad: Thanks for selling me out, Henry.
Henry: Listen --
Brad: Don't worry, forget about it, I was just about to call you.
Brad: He's not her brother at all. He's just an actor.
Henry: Would you shut up listen to me for two seconds? I've been arrested. I'm in jail.
Henry: Would you come down here and get me out, please?
Brad: What were you arrested for?
Katie: Henry was arrested?
Henry: I'll tell you when you get down here.
Brad: I'm on my way.
Katie: What did he do? Why was he arrested?
Brad: Well, I don't know. I mean, he, you know, he said we'll find out when we get there.
Katie: I knew something bad was going to happen!
Brad: Listen, there's no connection.
Katie: Of course there is, Brad! They got to Henry to send a message to you!
Dusty: I don't buy into any supernatural stuff.
Josie: Neither do I.
Dusty: But this is different.
Josie: So, what are we saying here? That I'm possessed?
Dusty: Is that how you feel?
Josie: Like Jennifer is living inside me and I need an exorcist? No. But I do feel like I know her. Who she was, what she did, who she loved? I'm sorry, I'm freaking you out.
Dusty: No, not at all.
Josie: I'm freaking myself out. I'm sitting here telling you that I have this weird spirit vibe with your wife, who I've never met. Doesn't that make you want to run for the hills?
Dusty: No. In fact, just the opposite. Meet Molly.
Brad: Okay, what's going on? Why was Henry arrested?
Dani: We found Spencer's scarf in his room.
Katie: The one that was used to kill her?
Brad: She's not dead!
Katie: You know what I mean.
Dani: Well, either way, it was stolen from the evidence room, so he's in big trouble.
Katie: Where's my sister?
Dani: She's not here.
Katie: She doesn't know about this?
Dani: She knows that we asked the judge for a search warrant.
Brad: Can we see him?
Dani: He's still being questioned.
Brad: Okay, we just want to talk to him. Margo let Katie talk to me.
Dani: Okay. But with a cop in the room.
Katie: Hey, Henry tell us what happened.
Henry: I went up to our room, and I found them turning the place upside down. They had that scarf that was stolen from the evidence room.
Katie: Did you take it?
Henry: Of course I didn't take it! It was planted!
Brad: You're being set up.
Katie: No, we don't know that!
Brad: It's obvious!
Katie: No, it's not!
Henry: Okay, this is the second time today you two have been talking right over my head. Now, if you have any idea why I'm here, I'd like to hear it now.
Brad: We don't -- we don't know anything.
Katie: Yes we do.
Paul: I know you're worried about Meg moving back in with me, but things are going to be different.
Emma: Oh, Paul. Paul, you've said that so many times.
Paul: Okay, well, what else do you want me to do?
Emma: Oh, maybe one of these times you could really show me.
Paul: Okay, I will.
Emma: Do you realize that you have had more second chances than anyone deserves?
Paul: Well, this is the last second chance that I'll ever ask you for, I swear.
Emma: I don't trust you, Paul.
Paul: Yeah, I'm starting to figure that out.
Emma: But you're married to my daughter. And she's going to have your baby. So, what choice do I have?
Paul: Is that -- is that like an approval?
Emma: Well, Meg is going to do what she's going to do, whether I approve or not. So -- I just have to take, I guess, the same leap of faith that she has.
Paul: I'm on the right path. Meg can see that. I only hope that you can someday, too.
Meg: Hey, so, my bags are all packed, I just didn't want to carry them down.
Paul: Okay. I get it.
Emma: "Well," what?
Meg: You obviously have an opinion.
Emma: Does it matter?
Meg: Of course it does.
Emma: Well, you're going to do what you're going to do anyway, right?
Meg: Yeah. You're right.
Emma: Well, this time -- I think you're doing the right thing.
Meg: No, you donít.
Emma: I do. I think you're doing the right thing for your baby. I only hope that your husband does the same.
Brad: Hey, Dani. Henry did not steal that scarf.
Dani: It was in his room.
Brad: It was planted.
Dani: Okay, I might be more inclined to believe you if he hadn't already pulled so many stunts trying to help you out.
Katie: Yes, he's a good friend, but he did not steal the evidence. He was set up.
Dani: Can you prove that?
Katie: All right, there's something that we haven't told you yet. Right after Brad was arrested, I got a message on my computer saying that the case against him could be made to go away.
Dani: From who?
Katie: I don't know.
Dani: And that's all it said?
Katie: Well, it said that he may want a favor in return.
Dani: Why didn't you tell anyone about this?
Katie: Because he warned me not to. I was afraid.
Dani: And you were afraid, too?
Brad: I was off the hook. I didn't want to ask any questions. But the point is, after Katie got the first I.M., then the evidence disappeared. Then I saw Spencer, then we got another I.M. telling us to back off from trying to find her.
Dani: But you didnít.
Katie: And then the scarf was found in Henry's room.
Dani: Okay. So, let me get this straight, you think this mystery messenger person stole the evidence from the evidence room, and then planted it in Henry's room, because you didn't do what he said. Is that right?
Brad: Exactly. Henry has got absolutely nothing to do with this. He's being used.
Dani: Okay, I'm going to need your computer, so maybe I can find out who the I.M.S came from.
Brad: And can you let Henry go?
Dani: That's not my call.
Katie: Whose call is it?
Dani: A judge.
Katie: Henry has to go to court? Why?
Dani: Because your sister would fire me if I don't follow procedure.
Brad: This isn't fair.
Dani: Look, you know what? You're lucky that he's the only one being held for concealing evidence.
Brad: Well, what evidence do we have?
Katie: The computer.
Katie: We'll go get it right away.
Paul: You ready?
Meg: Yeah. Yeah, all of a sudden, I'm tired.
Paul: Okay. Well, I'll get you home, run you a bath and you get some rest.
Meg: Oh, that sounds great. We will see you soon.
Emma: Okay. For Thanksgiving. Both of you.
Emma: Well, you're family now, right?
Paul: Thanks. You know, Meg's always talking about that famous Hubbard squash. A tradition passed down through generations.
Emma: Well, that's right. That's right.
Paul: Well, I would be happy to help you cut it up.
Emma: Now, that is an honor you have to earn.
Paul: Okay. Maybe at next Thanksgiving?
Emma: Let's take this one holiday at a time.
Dusty: I built my whole world around my wife. And now, she's gone.
Josie: And then your son disappeared.
Dusty: I searched all over the world for him. It's like he never existed.
Josie: But he did.
Dusty: Yeah, I faked my death trying to find him.
Josie: Really? Nobody knew you were alive?
Dusty: Nice way to pay back all the people who were so kind to me after my wife died, huh?
Josie: No. You did what you had to do.
Dusty: I thought they were better off without me, anyway.
Josie: Well, now you know better.
Dusty: I know it's a lot to lay on you.
Josie: No, it's not that. It's -- I guess I'm worried that whatever's happening here is based on weird, psychic mumbo-jumbo, and not on anything real.
Dusty: What I feel when I'm with you is real. Whether it's Jennifer's spirit or not. Whatever it is, I don't want to lose it.
Josie: You want to get out of here?
Brad: That was the right thing to do -- to tell the police about the I.M.s.
Katie: I hope so. I really had no other choice.
Brad: Well, you know what? Once they examine the laptop, they'll have enough to let Henry go.
Brad: What's wrong?
Katie: Another message. Don't let anyone see these messages or Brad will be next. Oh my God!
Brad: This guy is really starting to tick me off.
Katie: What are we going to do?
Brad: We're going to take the laptop to the police, so they can track this guy down.
Katie: No! No! Are you out of your mind?
Henry: Where'd Brad and Katie go?
Dani: They went to get evidence they were withholding.
Henry: Will their evidence prove I didn't take your evidence?
Dani: I haven't examined it yet.
Henry: Okay. Can I go back to my life while you do?
Henry: How long do you think it'll take?
Dani: Look, you want this to go faster? Why don't you try telling us the truth?
Henry: I am telling you the truth.
Dani: Where is Spencer McKayís body?
Henry: I didn't take the body! Doesn't the fact that Brad saw it walking around Chicago mean there was no body to steal?
Dani: We don't have proof of that, either.
Henry: Well, you know, how is this going to look on your resume, Dani? You're being played for a fool by a psychopathic TV personality?
Dani: Oh, I'm just waiting for someone to prove it.
Henry: I'm warning you -- if you keep me here, you can tell the entire police force that the days of free meatloaf at Al's are over!
Dani: Sorry. Can you take him to holding?
Henry: It's on your head. It's on her head.
Dani: Hey, it's me. Yeah, no, he's going to lock up now. Oh, I can hold him as long as you want.
Katie: Don't you see what's going on here? This person knows what we're going to do before we do it. They knew we were taking the laptop to the police.
Brad: So, you're saying they're inside the department?
Katie: Maybe. Or maybe they're just watching us.
Brad: Why the hell would anyone go through all this trouble?
Katie: I don't know.
Brad: So, what are we going to do about Henry?
Katie: I don't know. I'm scared. If we try to get him out they're going to come after you.
Brad: Katie, he tried to help us. We can't just leave him in there.
Katie: I know, I know! We have to help him. We'll just figure something out.
Brad: Okay, okay. How?
Katie: I don't know!
Brad: There is only one way. We help the police find this guy.
Katie: We can't! Don't you see? This person got you out of jail and got Henry arrested. They're going to come after us, they're going to hurt us. We have to do what they say.
Brad: Then he wins.
Katie: Fine, yeah, okay. He wins.
Paul: Hey, wait, wait, wait! I'm supposed to carry you over the threshold. I got my hands full.
Meg: Oh, well, I'm a pretty big handful myself these days.
Paul: You've never been more beautiful.
Meg: Oh, nice recovery.
Paul: Yeah, it's true.
Meg: Thank you.
Paul: Oh, thank you, for a second chance. You know, I told your mom that I was going to make good this time. And I meant it.
Meg: Yeah, I know. I believe you. It's amazing how much you've changed.
Paul: Yeah. I used to think I was hopeless. I was doomed to mess up everything I cared about.
Meg: That was your father talking.
Paul: Yeah, well, I still hear his voice sometimes.
Meg: Well, he's gone. You're free of him now.
Paul: I know. I feel like this burden's been lifted.
Paul: I can finally be the man that I've always wanted to be. The man you deserve. How about that bath?
Meg: Yeah, I think I want lie down first.
Paul: Okay, you want some company?
Meg: Ooh, that would be nice.
Paul: All right. I'll be up in a sec.
Dusty: You can change into your bathing suit and I'll put on my cabana boy outfit.
Josie: Well, I can't wait to see that. Dusty? I want to thank you for everything that you've done for me. I don't know where I'd be without you.
Dusty: Probably not in a hotel in Tampa.
Josie: Probably not.
Dusty: We'll meet in the lobby.
Josie: Wait. The bet was -- anything I want.
Dusty: That's right. Are you sure about this?
Josie: Yeah. Are you?
Next week on "As the World Turns"
Brad: It's her.
Josie: And it made me realize.
Josie: That I'm falling in love with you.
Carly: You know what I'm grateful for this Thanksgiving? That I don't have to be around you. Get the hell off my porch.
