Carly: Hello. Hi. Um, I hope it's not a bad time.

Holden: No. Come on in.

Carly: Emma said that she'd watch J.J. Tonight. I have to work, and -- and jack's working, so --

Holden: How are you feeling, J.J.?

J.J.: Fine, I guess.

Carly: Yeah. He just needs to take it easy. I didn't want to leave him alone. I hope it's not an inconvenience.

Holden: No, it's not a problem. Listen, I think faith left some video games upstairs, if you want to check them out.

J.J.: Can I?

Carly: Yeah. Sure, honey. Go ahead.

Carly: Well, I, uh -- I saw the look on your face when I walked in, so I can tell I'm -- I'm the last person you wanted to see.

Bonnie: Does vienna know that you are moonlighting?

Henry: No. I came down here to get a little -- little libation, and carly asked me to fill in until she could get back. Uh, anyway, I'm being paid by mr. Martini. Would you care to join me?

Bonnie: Actually, you know, I'm kind of in a champagne mood.

Henry: Really?

Bonnie: Mm-hmm.

Henry: Well, all right. You celebrating something?

Bonnie: I don't know, henry. You should be the one celebrating.

Henry: Why is that? Do I have a chance in hell of getting a piece of gray gerard's estate?

Bonnie: How is this for a piece?

Henry: Maybe this stuff is going to my head, but that says, "pay to the order of" -- that's a lot of zeroes.

Bonnie: Mm-hmm.

Henry: That's got my name on it.

Bonnie: Mm-hmm.

Henry: Wow!

Bonnie: It's all yours, baby. So, how are you gonna spend these big bucks, huh?

Henry: Bonnie, let me count the ways. Cheers.

Bonnie: Cheers.

Holden: Don't be silly. You're more than welcome to bring J.J. Over.

Carly: This isn't about J.J., Holden. It's about -- you know what? It's not important. I have to go.

[ Cellphone ringing ]

Holden: Hello.

Lily: Hey. It's me. I'm sending a care package to the girls, and I think I've got the zip code mixed up, just the last three digits. Are they 501 or 510?

Holden: Uh, 610.

Lily: I'm glad I called. These brownies could have ended up in wichita. So, how are you?

Holden: I'm okay, I guess. Listen, I was thinking about maybe going out tonight. Want to have dinner?

Lily: Sure. Are you thinking casual or dressy?

Holden: Might as well go for broke.

Lily: Holden snyder, are you asking me out on a date?

Holden: Yeah, I guess I am. So why don't we get dressed up and, uh, make a night of it?

Lily: I thought you'd never ask.

Paul: So it's okay with you? We just let sofie leave town on her own.

Meg: Yeah, I guess, as long as she doesn't case anymore trouble. Look, I'm gonna go check on your mother upstairs, okay?

Paul: Right. I'll be right up.

Meg: Yep.

[ Cellphone rings ]

Sofie: What do you want?

Cole: Get out of there now. Meg snyder's on her way up.

Barbara: Hello!

Is someone there?

[ Cellphone rings ]

Noah: Hello.

Luke: Hey, it's me.

Noah: Hey, luke. What's up?

Luke: Um, look, I really need to talk to you. I hate the way we ended things. Uh, are you free?

Noah: Not really. I'm at the police station.

Luke: Why? What's going on?

Noah: Uh, ameera was just released and, uh, she wanted to see me.

Luke: Oh, well, I'm -- I'm coming down there now.

Noah: No. No, you really -- I can handle this.

Luke: Look, noah, I'm coming whether you like it or not.

Barbara: Who -- who's there?

Meg: It's me. It's meg. Here.

Barbara: Hi.

Meg: I got you.

Barbara: Okay.

Meg: How are you feeling? Is the pain worse?

Barbara: I've -- I'm -- can't get comfortable. I can't sleep. I just -- thank you.

Meg: Okay, you know what? There is no point in waiting. I should give you the shot now. You obviously need some more right now.

Barbara: Okay.

Cole: Hey, what happened?

Sofie: No one saw me.

Cole: Did you switch the drug?

Sofie: You don't have to know that.

Cole: I stole that morphine. I know how strong it is. So out of curiosity, I see a computer in the lobby and I go online. I find out that one shot could be enough to kill someone. I don't know if I'm ready for that, sofie. Are you?

Paul: Hey, mom. How's she doing?

Meg: Well, she's in a lot of pain, but this should make her feel better though.

Cole: Hey, what happened?

Sofie: No one saw me.

Cole: Did you switch the drug?

Sofie: You don't have to know that. Meone. I don't know if I'm ready for that, sofie. Are you?

Paul: Hey, mom. How's she doing?

Meg: Well, she's in a lot of pain, but this should make her feel better though. N't know if I'm ready for that, sofie. Are you?

Paul: Hey, mom. How's she doing?

Meg: Well, she's in a lot of pain, but this should make her feel better though.

Barbara: Thank you. I'm just so tired.

Meg: Okay. Well, let's get you comfortable.

Barbara: Okay. Right here?

Meg: Yeah.

Barbara: Okay.

Meg: There you go.

Barbara: Oh!

Meg: You know, I didn't have a chance to pick up a movie.

Paul: Um, that's okay. The hotel has pay-per-view.

Barbara: Yeah.

Meg: Well, you know what? I'm gonna make some popcorn and make barbara some tea. Why don't you ask her if there's something special she wants to watch?

Paul: Yeah. I don't think -- she's already out.

Meg: Well, she must be exhausted. That's good. She needs a nap.

Cole: Come on. Sofie, if someone's gonna die from the drug I lifted, I need to get out of dodge, and that takes money.

Sofie: Okay. You'll get it. You'll get it. Just meet me back here later.

Cole: Where are you getting the dough? You've been holding out on me?

Sofie: No. No, I swear. Okay, okay. If you must know, uh, there is about $10,000 in an expense account that paul and barbara set up for my jewelry line, and they thought I spent it all before the opening. But I can get my hands on what's left.

Cole: I took a big risk for you, sofie. If you're playing me, you'll be sorry.

Meg: Hey.

Paul: Maybe we can watch the movie in the other room. I don't want to disturb her.

Meg: Well, she's, uh, fast asleep. You know what? Maybe we should put her in bed. Barbara --

Paul: Is she okay?

Meg: Barbara?

Paul: Meg, is she all right?

Meg: She's not okay. Her pulse is weak. Call 911. We need an ambulance.

Henry: Bonnie, I can't believe this. This is like winning the lottery. This is legal, isn't it?

Bonnie: Legal enough. See, I copied some of greenberg's files before he fired me. I've come to find out he was making a lot of shady deals with the late gray gerard. And if some of those deals came to light, he would be disbarred.

Henry: So I can cash this and not end up in handcuffs?

Bonnie: Oh, henry, come on. I am your lawyer. It is my job -- my duty -- to keep you out of trouble.

Henry: Rich and out of trouble. That I can do. Mwah!

Bonnie: Exactly. I said I wouldn't go to the D.A. About greenberg's indiscretions, and he makes you financial consultant to the estate. Thus the sizable, certified check -- excluding my commission, thank you very much.

Henry: Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey!

Bonnie: And everything else is happily ever after.

Henry: You can say that again. Oh, I'm gonna call vienna and let her know about this. She should come down here and celebrate.

Bonnie: Oh, you know, I don't think that would be a good idea. I don't think vienna would appreciate this sudden windfall, courtesy of her ex-lover.

Henry: No, no, no, no, no. We're all past that. She's gonna love this. This is an upgrade in lifestyle. This is easy street 2.0. My liebchen will love this.

Carly: Hey, henry. Thanks for watching the place for me. Unfortunately, I -- I don't have the money to pay you right now.

Henry: That's all right, carly. Everybody, drinks are on me tonight!

Carly: Henry, are you sure you can afford that?

Henry: Yeah, I'm sure I can afford that. You know why, carly? 'Cause I'm now officially filthy rich.

Noah: Hey, uh -- you really didn't have to come down here.

Luke: I wanted to. Are you free yet?

Ameera: They're finishing my paperwork.

Luke: Thank god.

Ameera: I have your grandmother to thank. Ms. Walsh helped me find a lawyer from the aclu.

Noah: Ameera's case hasn't been resolved yet, but the lawyer did manage to get her out of custody.

Ameera: I have permission to move to los angeles. There's a family there who's close to my mother, and they're gonna let me move in with them.

Luke: Well, I'm so glad to hear it. Look, I'm so sorry about putting you in police custody in new york city. I -- I thought I was protecting you. I had no idea they'd hold you for so long.

Noah: I wish you'd let me handle it.

Ameera: Noah, it all worked out. I don't blame luke. You and noah have been so good to me.

Luke: I hope you can stay in this country for as long as you want.

Ameera: I hope so, too. And, um, I told noah, but I applied for an annulment to release him as my husband.

Luke: You did?

Ameera: I know that it's only a small thing, but I hope that it can make up a little bit for all the complications I've caused in your lives.

Noah: I don't regret marrying you, ameera. I wanted to help you, and that was the best way I knew how.

Ameera: You're a good man, noah. And while I'll never forget everything that you've done for me, I can't impose on you and luke anymore. I wish you both the very best now that you can finally be together.

Carly: Well, henry, that really is terrific news. You deserve to celebrate. So to henry.

Henry: To --

Carly: Mm!

Henry: What the hell is that, carly?

Carly: Oh, no. Oh, I mixed up the bottles again. Henry, I'm sorry. Here, let me start again.

Henry: No, no, no, no, no! You know what, sweetheart? If you plan to get, like, the hip cocktail crowd in here, you shouldn't fill up their drinks with ammonia. You know, carly, what you need around here -- is me.

Carly: I'm not sure I follow.

Henry: Well, you remember how I, uh, pretended to buy this place so that we could turn up the heat -- ah -- on your old friend, kit?

Carly: Yes, and that didn't work out for either one of us, as I recall.

Henry: Right. What if we tried it this time for real? Thinking, uh, what if you and I went into business together at metro, equal partners? We'd make a great team.

Lily: Holden, they're beautiful.

Holden: Not as beautiful as you.

Lily: Thank you. I'm still surprised you wanted to get dressed up tonight. What's gotten into you all of the sudden?

Holden: Can't a man bring his wife flowers without getting the third degree?

Lily: Oh, I'm not complaining, believe me. Why did you want to go on a "date" date?

Holden: Well, the girls are at camp. Mom is watching ethan. I thought it would be the perfect opportunity for us to have a night out.

Lily: You're right. That's just what we need.

Holden: Come on. I want to show you off in that dress.

Henry: With my mixology and your curve-ology, we're an unbeatable combo.

Carly: Curve-ology? Did you actually just say that?

Henry: Look, I'm not just talking about your shimmy and my shake here, all right? I mean, I -- I'm loaded now, and this place could use an infusion of cash. No more using duct tape to, uh, take care of the broken water pipes. You can actually hire a real plumber. Plus, you don't have to stay here till closing every night. You can actually go home and talk to the kids. How about that?

Carly: Oh, it does sound tempting.

Henry: And you wouldn't be getting just me. You'd also be getting vienna as well, and she could bring in a very classy clientele, let me tell you what, with euros to burn.

Carly: Uh-huh. And is she on board with this idea?

Henry: Yeah. I haven't pitched it to her yet, but you know what? I'm sure she would love the idea.

Carly: Don't bother, henry. I just -- I'm not sure that I need a partner right now. Sorry.

Bonnie: Wow. That was a big strikeout.

Henry: No. I'm still in the game. I can change carly's mind.

Bonnie: How exactly?

Henry: How doesn't matter. It's fate. Now that vienna and I are loaded -- well, I just have to change her apron to an evening gown. How could she not like that idea?

Bonnie: I think we're about to find out.

Lily: When's the last time we had dinner like this, just the two of us?

Holden: It's been a long time.

Lily: I think I know why you asked me out.

Holden: You do?

Lily: It's carly, right?

Henry: Liebchen, my darling, I am so glad you're here. I was gonna call you.

Vienna: I've been looking everywhere for you, henry, and where do I find you? Drinking and carousing with this man-eating bimbo?

Henry: Whoa, whoa, whoa! Whoa, whoa, whoa! Whoa, whoa, whoa! Oh, no. We said we were all gonna get along, remember, until we got a piece of gray gerard's estate. Right, right? And that paid off. You know why? Because bonnie took out the big guns and brought home the bacon, and she took mr. Greenberg to the cleaners.

Vienna: What? Am I supposed to be impressed?

Henry: Yeah, yeah. I -- you will be when you see this certified check. Mega-rich "r" us. Thank you you to ms. Mckechnie.

Vienna: But don't you understand, henry? This -- this is dirty money.

Henry: I don't mind being filthy rich. Do you?

Dr. Hearn: Her breathing is very shallow, and her blood pressure's dangerously low. We gave her a shot of narcan to counteract the morphine, but so far, she's failed to respond. We need to know how much morphine's she's taken.

Meg: Well, I can fill you in.

Paul: Can I see her now?

Dr. Hearn: Yes, for a few minutes.

Paul: Thanks. Hey, you've scared everybody enough. It's time for you to open your eyes.

Sofie: That's all you're gonna get, cole. You're never gonna get your greedy hands on the rest. Paul wants me to keep it, and I have to do what paul wants.

Meg: I gave her four milligrams of morphine for the pain. It was her normal dose. And almost right away, she lost consciousness.

Dr. Hearn: I don't see how that could cause such a severe reaction. I'll get a consult, see if we can come up with a diagnosis.

Meg: 50 milligrams? That's impossible.

Paul: Hey. What's wrong? P act 2h Noah: Ameera, it's official. You're free.

Ameera: So I won't be coming between the two of you anymore.

Noah: Um, e-mail us as soon as you get to L.A.

Luke: Yeah, and -- and send pictures -- lots of them. You under the palm trees.

Noah: Take care of yourself, ameera.

Ameera: Thank you for everything.

Noah: Hey. We're like family, right?

Ameera: I'm so sorry about your father.

Noah: Thank you.

Ameera: Luke, good-bye.

Luke: Good luck.

Ameera: I hope that you'll be very happy together.

Paul: Why are you so upset?

Meg: I don't know how, but I think -- I think I made a terrible mistake.

Paul: Okay. What?

Meg: I picked up barbara's morphine from the hospital pharmacy myself, and I was sure that it was a four-milligram concentration dose. But the vial I used to give her the shot --

Paul: What about it?

Meg: It was a concentration of 50 milligrams. Paul, that could have been lethal. But I was sure -- sure -- I was sure when I picked it up that it said four milligrams.

Paul: Well, then, I'm sure you did. You wouldn't make a mistake like that.

Meg: Why not? It -- it's a lot like the mistake I made once before.

Paul: No, it's not.

Meg: I gave a patient medicine that she was allergic to, and she died. What if -- what if barbara --

Paul: No, look, my mom is not gonna die, I don't think ever. Really, she's gonna be okay.

Meg: If anything ever happens to her, I don't think I'll be able to forgive myself. I'll be --

Nurse: Come on. We need a crash cart!

[ Monitor beeping ]

Lily: All right, this is your last bite.

Holden: Mmm!

Lily: The rest is mine. You still haven't answered my question. Was it carly that got you to ask me out tonight?

Holden: This isn't about carly.

Lily: I know. It's just the two of you have been spending so much time together lately, taking the girls to camp, staying over up there.

Holden: Yeah. So?

Lily: Well, carly's a good friend. I mean, she's got a lot invested in us getting back together.

Holden: Why do you think that is?

Lily: Because she thinks if we can make it, she's got a shot with jack. That's why I wouldn't be surprised if she inspired you to do something romantic.

Holden: Well, she didn'T. It was all my idea.

Lily: Well, it was a very good one. And now I for one need to work off all this food. Let's go dancing!

Holden: All right, all right. Where do you want to go?

Lily: I'll surprise you. Emily's cut seemed like nothing.

Carly: This is a surprise.

Lily: Holden and I are on a date.

Holden: Lily and I were having dinner, and then she decided that she wanted to go dancing.

Lily: I have to. I've got to burn those calories off somehow. Excuse me for a sec?

Holden: It was too late before I realized where she wanted to go. I'm sorry.

Carly: There's no need to be sorry. This is exactly what you and lily need -- exactly what we all need. Drinks are on the house, okay?

Henry: Here we are. Nothing but the good bubbly. We can afford it morning, noon, and night.

Vienna: No, thanks.

Bonnie: I really don't know how you're gonna pull this one off, henry.

Henry: Don't worry, bonnie. My little wiener schnitzel will come around. Uh --

Bonnie: Good luck with that.

Henry: Okay.

Vienna: Thought she'd never leave.

Henry: Sweetheart, we have bonnie to thank for putting us in the upper-income bracket.

Vienna: I don't care about the money, henry. All I care about is you, pepper, and the diner.

Henry: Darling, we don't have to give that up. I just -- I'm asking you to -- to think bigger, okay? Look, how would you like to be part-owner of all of this?

Vienna: Metro?

Henry: Mm-hmm.

Vienna: But it belongs to carly.

Henry: Yeah, and I put in an offer to be equal partners. Think about it, sweetheart. Glam parties, the velvet ropes, celebrities. I -- I just need more glitz and less shvitz. You know what I'm saying? And all we have to do is get carly to say yeah.

Vienna: Oh, so she said no to this plan.

Henry: Yeah, she said no to that plan, but, uh, I think she'll say yes if we just use our patented charm offensive.

Vienna: I think carly was right to refuse. And my answer is also no.

Carly: Our best bottle.

Holden: Thank you.

Carly: Sparkling cider for you.

Lily: Thank you. Drink to us.

Holden: Cheers.

Lily: Mmm. Let's dance.

Sofie: Oh, hi. Hi, there. Hi. How is barbara ryan holding up?

Maid: Didn't you hear the news? They rushed ms. Ryan to the hospital.

Sofie: Oh. Oh, my god. Oh, my god. I -- I hope it's not serious.

Maid: I just hope she makes it.

Paul: How is she?

Dr. Hearn: It was a very close call. We almost did an emergency tracheostomy, but the drug we gave her to counteract the morphine finally kicked in.

Meg: She's stable?

Dr. Hearn: She's breathing on her own, but she's not out of damage. We'll need to monitor her carefully and hope there are no complications.

Meg: I made a terrible mistake.

Paul: Meg --

Meg: I gave her one shot, but it was 50 milligrams, not 4.

Dr. Hearn: How did that happen?

Meg: I don't know. I don't know. I must have misread the label. I thought --

Dr. Hearn: You realize this will have to be reported, not just to the medical review board, but the police?

Noah: Well, it's good that you were able to say good-bye to ameera.

Luke: Yeah. Does that mean you're okay with me being here?

Noah: Yeah, sure. Take care of yourself, luke.

Luke: No, wait. Noah, I mean, didn't you -- didn't you hear what ameera said? Maybe we can work on this.

Noah: Ameera doesn't get it, okay? Luke, you and I, we're -- we're not together anymore.

Luke: Well, can we at least go get a coffee and talk about it?

Noah: I don't think that's a good --

Luke: Oh, shut up. I'm paying.

Noah: I'm surprised you wanted to hang out with me.

Luke: Why?

Noah: Um, reg.

Luke: Reg? What about reg?

Noah: Well, you told me he broke up with his boyfriend and he asked you out.

Luke: Well, that doesn't mean I accepted.

Noah: Please.

Luke: Well, do you really think that I would dump you that fast and start dating somebody else?

Noah: I saw you two together, right here. I came looking for you to talk, and you were already hanging out with your new boyfriend.

Luke: My what?! Look, noah, I don't know what you think you saw, but you're totally off base. Reg and I were talking. That's all. I'm telling you the truth, noah.

Noah: Okay. You were talking.

Luke: Okay. But you came after me. Does that mean you've changed your mind? Do you still want to be with me?

Holden: Mm, business call. I'm gonna take it outside.

Carly: You two seem happy.

Lily: Ah! I don't know what's gotten into holden. Suddenly, he can't get enough of me.

Carly: That's terrific.

Lily: Yeah. I feel like we're teenagers again. I think tonight could be the night.

Carly: Well, you deserve to be happy.

Henry: Wouldn't you rather be here, serving cosmos and tripping the light fantastic rather than grilling greasy burgers?

Vienna: I could never give up the diner. Al's is my baby. There's no deal, henry, and that's no with a big "n," as in, "no, no, no, never."

Henry: Well, if it isn't my future partner.

Carly: Oh, henry, not now, okay? Listen, I -- I, uh, need you to do another favor for me.

Henry: Sure.

Carly: Do you think you could watch the place for a little bit longer? I need to get out of here.

Henry: Absolutely, absolutely! I'm nothing if not available.

Carly: That's good to know.

Henry: Yeah. You see? We're almost in business.

Vienna: You are not even close.

Henry: Honey, I was born with a cocktail shaker instead of a rattle. Carly has to see that she can't mix it up without henry.

Vienna: Ah.

Lily: Ethan's sleeping so soundly, I hate to wake him.

Holden: Don't take him home. Stay here tonight.

Lily: Are you sure?

Holden: Positive. I've missed you. Let's go upstairs.

Paul: I'm gonna go to my mom's hotel suite, pick some stuff up for mom. I think some fresh air might do you some good.

Meg: Yeah, I'm gonna stay here. Uh, as long as I don't go near barbara with meds, I should be fine.

Paul: Hey, it was not your fault.

Meg: Yes, it was, paul. And I am so sorry.

Paul: It was not. She will live.

Meg: Excuse me. Um, I signed out some meds for barbara ryan earlier. Would you happen to have that transaction on file?

Nurse: Sure. Uh, let's see. Here you are.

Meg: All right. Thank you. Maybe paul is right.

Sofie: Paul, paul! I just heard about your mom. Is she okay?

Paul: Yeah, she's okay. It was a close c l, but she's okay.

Sofie: I -- I can't believe this happened. Can I go see her?

Paul: No. That's not a good idea, sofie.

Meg: Excuse me. It shows here that I signed out the four-milligram morphine. Is it possible that I could have been given the 50-milligram solution instead?

Nurse: Not likely. But now that you mention it, a 50-milligram bottle went missing this afternoon.

Meg: Really? Was that after I signed -- signed out the meds? Uh, do they know who did that?

Cole: It's about time.

Sofie: Here. By yourself a first-class ticket. Go someplace far away.

Cole: Not until you tell me what happened to the patient.

Sofie: She lived. She lived, but she almost didn't, and everyone knows it was an overdose.

Cole: That's not good news for meg snyder.

Sofie: No. She'll probably lose her nursing license. She might even go to jail. But you want to know what the best part is?

Cole: What's that?

Sofie: Paul could never love a woman who almost killed his mother.

Carly: Hello. J.J.?

Luke: You didn't answer my question. Have you changed your mind about us?

Noah: What good would that do, now that you're already looking for new guys to talk to?

Luke: Noah, don't be an idiot. Why would I start seeing somebody else if I'm so in love with you?

Noah: Well, I don't know, but you and reg looked pretty tight.

Luke: Well, reg is a good guy. And you know what? It felt really good to be wanted by somebody who wasn't so messed up.

Noah: Well, if that's how you feel, why don't you just call up reg and tell him you want to hook up?

Luke: Oh! Is that what you really want -- for us to end this right now for good?

Carly: Sorry. Uh, I'm here to pick up J.J.

Lily: Hey, carly.

Carly: I didn't mean to interrupt.

Lily: No, no. I'm glad you're here. We'd want you to be the first to know. Things are finally working out for us.

Carly: That's fantastic. Bipolar disorder is challenging

Carly: That's wonderful. I'm really happy for both of you.

J.J.: Are we ready to go now?

Carly: Yeah, sweetheart. We have to get you to bed. Well, thanks to emma for watching him.

Lily: Sure.

Carly: Good night.

Lily: Must be really hard for carly to see us so happy together.

Noah: I don't want to break up with you, luke.

Luke: Well, you don't want to be with me either!

Noah: I've got a lot to sort out.

Luke: Look, I know that. I do. I didn't even notice that you weren't wearing your wedding ring. And at first, I thought, "you know, that's a really good sign. Maybe it means he wants to get back together with me." Now I'm just wondering if you just want to be single.

Noah: Look, I don't know what I want.

Luke: No, and I get that, noah. I do. I'm just trying to figure out why this always happens to me. Why do I always want a man that I can't have?

Paul: Hey.

Meg: Paul, hey. I think you were right. I don't think I was responsible for giving your mother that overdose.

Paul: Well, there we go. So what do you think happened?

Meg: Somebody switched the meds.

Paul: Who would do something like that?

Meg: Sofie.

Cole: I don't want to get mixed up in your obsession with paul ryan, although you could have made a lot more than few measly grand if you would have played him after accusing him of rape.

Sofie: Well, you know what? Be happy with the money I gave you. Our business is done, and you can go now.

Cole: Not yet. One last time. I know you want to.

Lily: Poor carly. She won't be alone for long, right?

Holden: What do you mean?

Lily: Well, she and jack never stay separated forever. I hope they can work things out, don't you?

Holden: You know what? I don't want to talk about carly.

Lily: You don't? Let's go back upstairs.

Holden: Okay. Let me lock up.

Carly: You need to rest, sweetheart. You go up and go to bed, all right? Sleep tight.

J.J.: Are you okay?

Carly: Yeah. I'm fine.

Announcer: On the next "as the world turns" --

Casey: Are you asking me to spy for you again?

Emily: Yes, I am.

Chris: Tom, if we show this, it will destroy her.

Tom: Might save you.

Lucinda: It's not as if he'd ever love anyone except you.

Lily: I am gonna do everything in my power to make sure I never lose him again.

Carly: You kissed me. I kissed you.
