Jack: $100,000? Wow. What's this about?
Carly: I think we're finished here.
Nelson: Of course.
Jack: No, whoa, wait a second. You're not going anywhere until you tell me who you are, and what you think you're going to get for this money.
Holden: Why aren't you at work?
Lily: I took a break. You can do that when you own the place.
Holden: What do you got? Stuff for Luke?
Lily: Uh, just some books that I thought might keep his mind occupied. How was he this morning?
Holden: He told me he fell.
Lily: He did. I was going to talk to you about that --
Holden: Yeah, but you would have left out the best part.
Lily: What part? About Dusty --
Holden: So, you take our son out in his wheelchair for the first time, he falls and Dusty is on the scene to help out. I guess he just happened to be there, huh?
Dusty: Hey. I was just thinking about you.
Emily: Were you?
Dusty: Yeah, I had this feeling we'd run into each other today.
Emily: Well, when you're right, you're right.
Dusty: I was going to my room. Do you want to go there and talk? All right, we can go downstairs and have brunch. Come on --
Emily: Wait. What are you doing?
Dusty: Tell me you didn't come here to see me.
Emily: I didnít.
Dusty: Then why are you roaming the hall outside my suite?
Emily: I'm going to my room. I'm staying here with Chris.
Alison: Why do you always fall for that?
Chris: Because you're the only person that's done that to me since I was 12.
Alison: What can I say? I'm in touch with my inner child.
Chris: And you're looking a lot better than the last time I saw you.
Alison: Yeah, I was pretty wrecked after the whole in vitro thing for Will and Gwen failed, so -- but I'm happy now. Ask me why.
Alison: I just applied for my old nurses' aide job back.
Chris: Hey, that's great. I might be on staff here again, too. My dad just made me an offer.
Alison: Oh, so we might be working together?
Chris: Unless you're not okay with that?
Alison: Why wouldn't I be -- oh, I get it.
Chris: Well, we were together for a long time.
Alison: And you think it's going to be hard for me to be able to resist you. Don't worry. It wonít.
Dusty: You and Chris are staying here, together? No, you're not.
Emily: My things. Chris's things. Our room. This isn't some ploy to make you jealous, if that's what you think.
Dusty: Are you sure about that?
Emily: I thought it would be a little more comfortable than staying at my momís.
Dusty: Come on. You're rubbing my nose in the fact that you've got yourself a new boyfriend.
Lily: Dusty and I were not out together. I didn't call him. I didn't plan to meet him.
Holden: So he just popped up, is that it? Why has he always managed to be wherever you are, despite the fact that you're still married?
Lily: You wanted the separation. Not me. And you're making this about Dusty and there is nothing going on between us!
Holden: I have an appointment.
Lily: Wait, wait, wait -- you don't believe me, do you?
Holden: No, I donít.
Carly: Jack! Leave poor Mr. Hotchkiss alone. I apologize.
Nelson: Your husband's understandably protective.
Carly: It's my ex-husband, actually. Anyway, thank you for your generous offer. I will let you know if I change my mind.
Nelson: Thank you for your time.
Jack: Hotchkiss -- so he's half of Greenblatt and Hotchkiss, the people who wrote you that check?
Carly: Yes, he is. He is --
Jack: Carly, what's going on here? Come on, talk to me. I'm worried about you. Tell me what is happening.
Carly: Let me do this because I might never be able to do it again.
Jack: Carly --
Carly: I'll tell you, Jack. I'll tell you everything. Can we sit?
Jack: Aren't you feeling well?
Carly: I'm sorry I didn't tell you about Hotchkiss, Jack. Why did you get so angry?
Jack: May I get you a glass of water or something --
Carly: I don't need a glass of water. I just need to know that you're not going to go ballistic when I explain --
Jack: Maybe I overreacted, yes -- but it wasn't because of you.
Jack: She left town.
Carly: For good?
Jack: No, no, she just didn't tell me she was leaving.
Carly: So how did you --
Jack: Can we talk about something else? Please? Let's talk about something else. Tell me about Hotchkiss.
Carly: Hotchkiss and Greenblatt -- it's a consulting firm. And they want to do a minor facelift on their offices.
Jack: How can a minor facelift cost $100,000?
Carly: They have expensive taste.
Jack: So, that's it? Well, I don't get it. If that's all it really was, then why did you lie to me?
Lily: You know, I have made mistakes and I have kept things from you in the past, but I am finished with that. I had no idea Dusty would be here last night.
Holden: You know what? It doesn't matter.
Lily: Why did you say that?
Holden: What we need to do right now -- we need to focus on Luke. What did he say last night, after the fall?
Lily: He was embarrassed. He was embarrassed that he fell. He was embarrassed that it happened in front of Noah. How was he this morning?
Holden: He was depressed. He didn't want to get out of bed. He didn't want to eat. It's just like before when --
Lily: He started drinking. What are we going to do?
Holden: I want to meet with the physical therapist. See if there's some way we can motivate him to try and do the exercises. If he can just see that he's making some progress --
Lily: I think that's a great idea. You know what? I'm going to call the physical therapist right now and maybe we can meet him and talk to him --
Holden: No. Not now. I canít.
Emily: I'm not trying to rub your nose in anything, Dusty.
Dusty: Then why are you staying at this hotel? On the same floor as me?
Emily: Because it's the only decent hotel in Oakdale. Chris booked the room, I didnít.
Dusty: Coincidence, huh? I don't think so.
Emily: All right, because you know me so well. You know exactly what I'm thinking --
Dusty: But what are you doing here, Emily?
Emily: Over and over, you have watched me fail miserably at letting go of anything that's bad for me. So, it's no wonder you don't buy the fact that I'm through with you.
Alison: You are so full of yourself.
Chris: What -- I wasn't trying to say you couldn't resist me -- well, it kind of sounded like, but that's -- that's not what I meant, right?
Alison: I know what you meant. I'm just giving you a hard time. And it's not that big of a deal that you're dating my sister.
Chris: It used to be.
Alison: When you and I were engaged, yeah. But it's been a couple of years. Besides, when you and I were dating, I was really in love with someone else.
Chris: Ow. All right. It's -- it's starting to come back to me now. Yeah, you had that thing for Aaron.
Alison: Comes and goes. But you and Emily, running into each other in Paris after all this time -- and it's working? I think that's pretty amazing.
Chris: So, you're not jealous? At all?
Alison: Okay, I'm a little jealous. But not over you. Emily's happy. And I would love some of that. But if Emily can rise above all the bad stuff, you know, in her past that she's been through, then so can I, right?
Chris: Emily's been doing bad things? Tell me about it.
Emily: You know I realized something when I was away. I don't need to be with a guy. Especially a guy who doesn't treat me the way I deserve to be treated.
Dusty: You're saying I treated you badly? Maybe so. But I've got to remind you that you and I weren't together when I slept with Alison. Had we'd been together, this wouldn't have happened.
Emily: Yeah, but you never told me. And then I saw the video --
Dusty: I didn't want you to see the video because I was trying to avoid hurting you. You never gave me a chance to show you how I'd treat you.
Emily: The point is, I deserve something better now.
Dusty: Well, you got it. Chris Hughes, in my face, all the time.
Emily: What I have with Chris has nothing to do with you.
Dusty: Then why am I here? In this room? With Chris's things? With Chris's woman? Unless you're not his woman. Not yet.
Lily: I know you're trying to keep your distance from me. Obviously --
Holden: Lily, it's not --
Lily: You're the one who said we have to have a united front for Luke --
Holden: No, Lily, it's not that. I have an appointment. I can't go see the therapist with you. And it's not that I don't want to be with you.
Lily: Well, at least that's something. You have an appointment? You're not sick, are you?
Lily: Because what happened with Carly --
Holden: No, no -- I understand. I'm okay.
Lily: Business appointment?
Holden: You know -- I really need to go.
Lily: Okay. Well, I have a very light day today, so if your appointment ends early, you want to get together --
Holden: I'll call --
Lily: And talk to the physical therapist -- okay. Great.
Holden: Bonnie? Is that you?
Bonnie: Holden. Hey.
Holden: How are you?
Bonnie: It's been a long time.
Holden: I was just on my way to see your mom.
Bonnie: Yeah, she told me you guys had an appointment. But she had to go out of town on business.
Holden: Oh, that's a bummer. I really wanted to get started on this thing today.
Bonnie: Yeah, don't worry. Mom's got a top-notch attorney filling in for her.
Holden: Really? Who?
Carly: I didn't tell you about Hotchkiss because I didn't think that you'd be happy about me going back to work.
Jack: Well, you're right about that. I know you're feeling better, but you have still a tumor -- you're still sick.
Carly: Well, working will get my mind off that, and you. And what's not going to happen between us. And I want some money -- I want to use the money so we can all do something fun together. Everybody's been taking such good care of me, I would like to be the one doing the nurturing for a little while.
Jack: Is that a fact?
Carly: And I'd like to start with you.
Carly: Tell me how you're feeling. About Katie.
Jack: Oh, you don't need to know about that.
Carly: Jack -- I want to be someone that you're honest with, about everything. And so, if what you really want is Katie, I want you to tell me.
Holden: Well, that's going to take some time getting used to -- little Bonnie McKechnie, a lawyer.
Bonnie: Yeah. You say little, but I bet you're thinking flighty. Well, think again, Mr. Snyder. I have managed to graduate from law school, summa cum laude.
Holden: Wow, that's impressive.
Bonnie: Yeah, isn't it? And it proves that I am perfectly capable to handle any case that comes into my mother's office. So did you come to see her about Lukeís accident?
Holden: Uh, no. What do you know about divorce law?
Jack: I thought an annulment would wipe the slate clean. As if the marriage never happened, but --
Carly: You still want to be with Katie.
Jack: I went to the studio to check on her. To make sure she was okay.
Carly: Did you expect her to be?
Jack: Well, I want her to be. I feel so guilty. Carly, I made all these promises that I wouldn't hurt her. And I did. I didn't mean to, but I did.
Carly: Jack, I wish I could go back and change things --
Jack: No, Carly. This isn't your fault.
Dusty: I don't blame you for wanting to get back at me.
Emily: That's not -- that's not what I want.
Dusty: So, you no longer care about what I think, or what I do?
Emily: No. People change, Dusty. You don't get to me anymore.
Dusty: Can I still turn you on? Can I do that? I want you.
Emily: Well, that's too bad. I've chosen the man I want. It's not you.
Alison: Emily's always had trouble with guys, you know that. But for the first time in a really long time, she seems, proud of herself. Proud of her life.
Chris: Well, I feel that way, too. About my life, I mean. You know, we're a good fit. Emily and me.
Alison: It looks like.
Chris: Reconnecting with her was one of the last things I expected, but -- it's the best thing that's happened to me in a long time. What?
Alison: Tell her that, okay? You know, that thing about her being the best thing? Make sure you tell her that as much as you can.
Bonnie: Well, as it happens, I specialize in matrimonial law. But you and Lily? You two have always seemed like you were just the most --
Holden: You know what? Please don't say we were the perfect couple. I know it seemed that way for a very long time -- for a long time it was as good as it gets.
Bonnie: What happened?
Holden: You know what? If this is too much for you to deal with --
Bonnie: No, not at all. But we do have a lot to discuss. How about over coffee? Al's diner?
Bonnie: I'll take my car, meet you there.
Lisa: Hello, my beautiful Goddaughter. Look, what do you want to do first? Do you want to go shopping or would you like to --
Bonnie: I completely forgot about our lunch date.
Lisa: Oh, well, if you tell me that it was because of a handsome man swept you off your feet, I would certainly understand that --
Bonnie: Well, does a handsome client count? I just promised Holden Snyder I would meet with him to discuss some legal matters.
Lisa: Well, certainly it's not his marriage --
Bonnie: You know what? I -- I should get going.
Lisa: Bonnie, wait a minute -- look, now I know that Holden and Lily have been kind of shaky lately --
Bonnie: You know what, as Holden's lawyer, it's nothing I can discuss. Can I take a rain check on lunch?
Lisa: Of course, Darling.
Lily: Charles, any messages for me?
Desk clerk: Nothing, Mrs. Snyder.
Lily: Okay. If anyone calls, I'll be in my office, having lunch. Thank you.
Dusty: I remember what was going on with us before you left. And what was going to happen.
Emily: We were going away together. And then --
Dusty: It didn't work. You got frustrated. You find yourself another guy. A safe guy.
Emily: You think I slept with Chris because I was lusting after you?
Dusty: Whatever. Love the one you're with.
Emily: Yeah, well, you seem to love being with Lily Snyder now, so good luck with that.
Dusty: Not that it's your business. But Lily and I are friends. Just friends.
Emily: Really? That's funny. That's funny. That's how you and I started. And I thought that we could be that again. But clearly I was wrong.
Chris: Hey. Glad I caught you.
Jack: I didn't tell you this to make you feel bad. My marriage didn't end because of you.
Carly: I think it did. All the time that you spent taking care of me -- Jack, I need to tell you something --
Jack: It wasn't your fault, Carly. It wasn't your fault. Even if you hadn't gotten sick, the feelings I had for you -- they still would have been there. I just wish I'd realized that before I got Katie so involved.
Carly: Maybe this trip will be good for her.
Jack: Give her time to get over me, you mean?
Carly: How could anyone do that?
Jack: No. I think she already has. Do you need to get home right away? Start working on those designs?
Carly: It can wait a couple of hours. Do you want to go for a drive or something?
Jack: No, I have to still check out this new security system for Lisa. So, if you don't mind waiting, it shouldn't take that long.
Carly: No, that's fine --
Jack: I can give you a ride home.
Carly: I'll meet you in the lobby.
Jack: Lisa's not in the lounge. Do you happen to know where she is?
Desk clerk: I'll check.
Jack: Thank you very much.
Jack: Hey, Lily. Congratulations, I heard the good news.
Lily: What news?
Jack: Carly's new design gig with that consulting firm, Hotchkiss and Greenblatt.
Lily: Consulting firm?
Lily: Hotchkiss and Greenblatt. I thought -- I thought they specialized in --
Carly: Corporate troubleshooting. I forgot to mention that part. But since I'm only there to make their space look good, it doesn't really matter, does it? Right, Lily?
Lily: Hotchkiss and Greenblatt. Wow.
Carly: I haven't even had a chance to fill Lily in on the details of the job, so I'm going to take the time and do that now.
Lily: Okay. I can take Carly home after I'm finished here. Not a problem.
Desk clerk: Ms. Grimaldi will meet you in security.
Jack: Oh, great. Yeah. Then I guess I'll see you later.
Jack: Bye. I'm so proud of you. Bye, Lil.
Lily: Bye. Hotchkiss and Greenblatt is a law firm.
Lily: Specializing in medical malpractice.
Carly: Does everybody know that? If Jack mentions it to somebody --
Lily: Why did you tell him it was a consulting firm?
Carly: Because I didn't want him to find out that the check that they wanted to give me was actually for settlement --
Carly: For a false diagnosis --
Lily: Carly, does that mean that --
Carly: It turns out I'm not dying.
Lily: Oh, my God.
Carly: Yeah --
Lily: Oh, I was so worried. Oh, you're okay. But Jack doesn't know?
Carly: No, not yet.
Lily: So he still thinks you're terminal?
Carly: I'm waiting for the right time.
Lily: Which is what?
Carly: After he marries me.
Dusty: Look, Emily --
Emily: Dusty, this conversation's over.
Chris: Something you want to tell me?
Emily: Yes. There's been something I've been dying to tell you all morning.
Chris: Whoa, whoa, hey, hey -- Em, Em, Em -- you're shaking.
Emily: Well, I'm in a hurry.
Chris: In a hurry to forget about whatever just went down with Dusty? Hey, you take care of that, and then we'll take care of each other, all right?
Nurse: I just heard! Dr. Hughes gave you a glowing recommendation.
Alison: He did?
Nurse: He did.
Alison: I mean, he said he was going to put in a good word, but --
Nurse: He did. You'll definitely be rehired.
Alison: Oh, great. Thanks. Hey. Where are you off to in such a hurry?
Dusty: I've got a meeting for Jenniferís foundation.
Alison: Oh, no wonder you look so --
Dusty: So what?
Alison: I don't know. Mad or something.
Dusty: Yeah. Yeah, that's right. I am. I'm mad at your sister.
Emily: Well, this is a new mood. I don't quite know how to read it.
Chris: This is me being crazy about you, and not pushing you to talk about anything you don't want to talk about. If we're going to do this -- I don't want anyone else in the room.
Emily: Dusty and I were close before I went to Europe.
Lily: I cannot believe that you've been lying to Jack about this. Not just to Jack, to your children -- to your entire family --
Carly: I know. I know -- I know -- I've hurt a lot of people. You don't have to remind me.
Lily: I think I do have to remind you.
Carly: Lily, if I didn't believe with all of my heart that I belong with Jack, I would have come clean as soon as I found out.
Lily: What do you think Jack's going to do when he finds out you've been lying this whole time?
Carly: He wonít.
Lily: I'm going to tell you something. Something I've learned in my marriage and I will share it with you. Husbands always find out the things that you don't want them to know.
Vienna: Will your wife be joining you?
Holden: No, actually, I'm expecting --- oh, there she is right now.
Bonnie: Vienna Hiatt. Working as a waitress in a diner. Why am I not surprised?
Vienna: I own this establishment.
Holden: You two know each other?
Bonnie: Yeah, Vienna and I go way back.
Vienna: This is who you're meeting? Don't you realize what she is?
Holden: I thought she was a lawyer.
Vienna: No, she's a thief.
Lily: You've got to come clean with Jack.
Carly: I will --
Lily: Today, Carly.
Carly: I didn't want to hurt anybody. I just wanted Jack. And when he thought that I was dying, I had him --
Carly: Katie's out of town. You know, if I could just spend a little more time with him --
Lily: Carly, you tell him. Today.
Emma: Hi, Darling.
Jack: Oh, it's quiet.
Emma: Yeah --
Jack: That must mean the kids are still in school.
Emma: I'm glad we have few moments before they get here. Uh, Sage gave me this before she left. She wanted me to see if her spelling was correct.
Jack: Oh, her letter to Santa. That's so cute. Please, Santa. Please help Mommy get married to Daddy again. I talked to her about this. I thought she understood.
Emma: I think all she understands is that she wants her family back the way it was.
Lily: What if Jack does want to marry you?
Carly: It would be perfect.
Lily: How is that perfect? How is that perfect, standing in front of your friends and your family? Everything good that you and Jack are, everything that you've shared together in the past -- that would be destroyed forever. Do you really want to take that chance?
Carly: He'll never forgive me. You know that. I know he wouldn't.
Lily: Okay, where is Jack? Where was he going after he met with Lisa?
Carly: To the farm.
Lily: Okay, let's go. I'm going to take you there.
Carly: No, you know what? You should take me to my house. If I have to say good-bye to Jack, I'd rather do it there.
Vienna: You'd got this woman give you legal advice? She lies. She deceives.
Bonnie: And you stole a man that you knew was already taken. You know, looking back, I should have let you have him. But if you'd like his number, maybe he can take you away from all this. Quickly.
Vienna: Well, for your information, I happen to be married.
Vienna: Well, almost. And you -- you stay away from my Henry.
Holden: Have a seat.
Bonnie: Rethinking your decision to let me represent you?
Holden: No, it looks like you can hold your own. And you'll probably have to. Lily will fight this divorce. But for the kids' sake, I don't want this drawn out.
Bonnie: Before Thanksgiving, then?
Holden: I don't know. We do this thing out at the farm for Thanksgiving.
Bonnie: Christmas, then? It looks like we hit the hard part.
Holden: Setting up the terms?
Bonnie: Convincing you not to go through with it.
Emma: I don't care what legal action you've taken. I mean, if you love Katie --
Jack: I do. I do. I love Katie. But I also love Carly. I didn't realize how much.
Emma: Sounds like you've made your decision.
Jack: Oh, no, it's not that simple. If I marry Carly again, it's like saying that my time together with Katie didn't mean anything. And what is that saying to the kids? That's okay to commit one day and then turn your back on somebody the next? They have been through so much confusion this past year, I don't want to add to that.
Emma: As I recall, Jack, it was to stop their confusion that you divorced Carly in the first place.
Emma: Listen, just -- just give it time. Just give it time. You'll do -- you'll do the right thing in the end. You'll make the right decision. You always do.
Jack: Hey. Where are your brother and sister?
Parker: Uh, in the barn. Sage and J.J. have been taking care of the new colt. What'd you think?
Jack: Did -- you read this? So, you want the same thing she wants?
Parker: You and Mom back together? The way it was? I don't think so.
Dusty: Emily won't admit what she's doing.
Alison: What's she doing?
Dusty: Using Chris to make me jealous.
Alison: I don't think so. And I know that's not what you want to hear. But I saw Emily and I've talked to Chris, they're together because they want to be.
Dusty: I can't believe it.
Dusty: You're as clueless as your sister is.
Emily: So Dusty and I are done. It's over.
Chris: Does Dusty know that?
Emily: Well, I told him. But he can't believe it. He can't -- he can't stand to see me happy, because he can't be happy unless he's out saving some poor, helpless female.
Chris: You? Helpless female? We could try that.
Emily: Maybe later.
Dusty: Your sister is sleeping with the guy you were going to marry. It's called payback.
Alison: Don't talk about my sister like that. And don't get all mad at me because you're really mad at yourself.
Dusty: Mad at myself? For what?
Alison: Because Emily moved on before you did anything to stop her.
Jack: You weren't happy when your mom and I were together before?
Parker: J.J. and Sage and I, we had it good. But you guys? It was brutal. Maybe that's why I always liked Katie.
Jack: You hated Katie in the beginning.
Parker: Maybe she was a little too perky sometimes. But when you were with her, you stopped being all stressed and mad. And that was cool.
Jack: Hey, listen -- things weren't always bad with your mom, you know.
Parker: Yeah, and sometimes the way we are now, makes me thinks of the good times and then I think --
Parker: My dad died. Jen died. And now, Mom. It just made me think that why does someone either have to be dead or dying before we let ourselves love them.
Holden: No, my marriage is over. I want this.
Bonnie: Did Lily cheat on you?
Holden: No, no, it was nothing like that. I mean, there is this guy. They're not sleeping together or anything like that. But she leans on him. She talks to him. And I know that doesn't sound like a lot, but --
Bonnie: No, it sounds awful, but fixable. Holden, I think you need some more time to reconsider.
Holden: No. I want this.
Bonnie: It's such a drastic action.
Holden: Or you know what? I just get Jessica to handle it. You're obviously too young and idealistic to understand that sometimes the best thing to do is just walk away.
Bonnie: Understand it? I've done it. Worked great.
Lisa: Hi. Hi, Honey. How are you? I was looking for you. How are you doing?
Lily: I'm fine. How did your security meeting go with Jack?
Lisa: You are an amazing woman, you know that?
Lily: So are you.
Lisa: Well, I'm talking about how you put up this wonderful front for everybody. Darling, you don't have to do that for me. No one knows better than I do. The distress you must be going through now.
Lily: If you're talking about Luke, we're trying to be positive.
Lisa: Well, that's a good thing. That really is. No, I just mean that I think that you're being so hard on yourself. I really do. Here you have this -- your child who has -- had an accident and your marriage is falling apart.
Carly: Jack, I'm not dying. Now, before you mad -- oh, no, no -- hey, Jack, I'm not dying. Isn't that great? No. I loved being in Montana with you. Making love with you. It was perfect. Just perfect. And no matter what, I want you to know that everything that happened there was real.
Jack: You're right. It was. Whoa... yaa... whoo!
Carly: I'm glad you're back. The kids?
Jack: They're at Emmaís. Listen, there is something wanted to tell you --
Carly: Something I needed -- to tell you --
Jack: But you go first.
Chris: Okay, well, I'm convinced. You're not helpless.
Emily: Well, and if you ever forget, I'll be happy to remind you.
Chris: Hey, Em -- there's something I wanted to ask you.
Alison: Did you ever call Emily, write her, tell her how much you missed her while she was away?
Dusty: No, I was trying to be a good guy and give her space. I felt when she got back, we could give it another shot.
Alison: How was she supposed to know that? You know, as far as she's concerned, you're through. She's gone. Oh well.
Dusty: I messed up.
Alison: Yep. And it's too late to do anything about it.
Dusty: Oh, come on. It's never too late. See you around, Ali Cat.
Emily: You can ask me anything you want. But it really is over with me and Dusty.
Chris: I know. I heard you the first time. Believed you, too.
Emily: You see this smile? It's because of you.
Chris: Well, while you're smiling, I wanted to ask you about an idea I've been kicking around.
Chris: Me staying in Oakdale.
Carly: Okay. I've been practicing. You probably heard me. How much did you hear?
Jack: Just that last part. And since when do you have to practice to talk to me?
Carly: Right. No, you're right because who knows you better than I do? Or loves you more than I do.
Jack: Carly --
Carly: You know what? I think that you should go first, because no matter what it is that you have to say, it can't possibly be as huge as what I have to say.
Jack: I wouldn't be so sure about that.
Bonnie: I was married, then I wasnít. It was that quick. And I regret that.
Holden: And if you could go back and undo it?
Bonnie: I wouldnít. It was the right thing. But you have an abundance of something Isaac and I never had.
Holden: All right, well, look, if you're talking about love --
Bonnie: It's proof, Holden. After decades of proof that if you stay together and work it out, and love each other, whatever's not right gets better.
Holden: Not always.
Bonnie: How about a week, at least? If you still want to file papers in a week, I'm your lawyer.
Lisa: I saw Bonnie, she mentioned that she was having a meeting with Holden about a legal matter.
Lily: That could be anything.
Lisa: Yeah. Bonnie specializes in matrimonial law. So, I just made a joke about it -- I said, I said, well, surely Holden doesn't need any advice --
Lily: What did Bonnie say?
Lisa: She didn't say anything. Honey, her silence spoke volumes.
Lily: So Holden wants a divorce.
Jack: I didn't think I'd ever get to this place again with you. And then -- and then Parker said something. Maybe it did take me thinking that you were dying for me to realize how I feel about you, Carly. Because you were always saying that we were meant to be together and I didn't want to believe it. And while we still have this time together, let's make the most of it. Marry me, Carly.
On the next "As the World Turns."
Luke: I know pity when I see it. That's exactly the way Noah looked at me.
Holden: Look, he needs you.
Dusty: You need a lawyer.
Chris: What if we moved in together?
Jack: Make me happy, Carly. Say yes.
Carly: Oh, yes.
Brad: Bottom line is, Carly, he doesn't think it's going to last. He doesn't know you're not going to die.
