Barbara: Get out. I want you out of this house!

Kim: Craig, Craig! For heaven's sakes -- what was in your mind -- to come here tonight?

Barbara: Get out! Get out!

Kim: We'll take care of it. Come on. Lily --

Gwen: I'm gonna be sick.

Lily: I didn't think you were coming.

Meg: This is the only memorial service there will be for Paul. I had to come.

Lily: I wish you had called me. I could've warned Barbara to bring Craig here with you.

Kim: You invited them?

Lily: I told Meg it was an informal gathering. I never thought she would bring Craig with her.

Craig: Meg was distraught. She needed somebody to drive her and to help see her through this.

Barbara: I need someone too. I need my son. I need Paul. I need to see his eyes. I need to hear his voice again. I need to be able to cry over his body at least. And you have deprived me of that! And you -- you dare bring my son's murderer into this house.

Meg: There was no murder, Barbara. It was an accident. Paul fell.

Barbara: Don't you defend Craig Montgomery to me. Not to me! Not in my house!

Meg: I had to come here. I love Paul.

Barbara: Liar!

Kim: Craig, Craig! Let her go.

Barbara: Let me go! Let me go!

Craig: I am simply trying to stop you from harming someone.

Barbara: I could kill you for what you have done to me.

Craig: As you have told me many times over the years, I am only going to tell you this once. You come at my wife like that again, I will hurt you. Do you understand, Barbara?

Will: Sounded pretty clear to me, but the only one getting hurt here is you unless you take your hand off my mother.

Carly: Do you need help deciding what to wear?

Parker: Do I have to wear a tie?

Carly: Yeah, yeah -- I think you should.

Parker: Paul would have said no. He wouldn't care what I wore.

Jack: Parker, wear the tie -- please.

Parker: Why?

Jack: Because -- because your mother asked you to and now I am. I'll be up in a bit, okay? You okay?

Carly: Yeah, I'm fine. I'm just gonna write out a card for Barbara while you guys get ready.

Jack: Carly, what is it?

Carly: Nothing, I'm fine.

Jack: Carly --

Carly: I was just thinking about Barbara. Jack, I don't know what I would do if something happened to one of our kids. No, you know -- I can't lean on you, Jack. It's not who we are anymore.

Barbara: Will!

Kim: Don't get into this, please.

Lily: Craig is just leaving.

Craig: No, I will leave when Meg is ready to go.

Barbara: I want that man out of here.

Will: He's going.

Barbara: And her, too. I want them both out.

Meg: I want to stay, for Paul.

Barbara: I'm not going to let you dishonor my son's memory. You're the reason he's dead.

Craig: That is not true.

Barbara: The only reason Paul was chasing after her was to save her from you.

Meg: I never meant for this to happen.

Will: Mom, this is about Paul. Don't you think he'd want Meg to be here? Its okay, Meg -- you can stay.

Meg: Thank you.

Craig: Good, so she's staying. I will stay right here with her.

Lily: Craig, this is Barbara's home, her son's memorial. Please respect that.

Meg: Craig did try to save Paul's life.

Will: Well, he should have tried harder and this is my mom's home, so I'm kicking him out. If you have a problem with that, you can leave with him.

Jack: Want me to write it?

Carly: No. But you could tell me what to say.

Jack: Well, you could say something about how much he meant to Parker. That would probably mean a lot to Barbara.

Carly: I feel for her, you know? She just lost Jennifer. I know that Paul was angry with her for a very long time. So how do you think our kids are gonna feel about me when they're grown up?

Jack: They'll love you, Carly.

Carly: I left them.

Jack: Yeah, but you came back. They'll remember that.

Carly: But will they be speaking to me?

Jack: The speaking might get a bit loud at times, but you make it pretty hard to stay mad at you, so yeah, your kids will want to know you.

Carly: Let me fix your tie. It bothers me, you know.

Jack: What, my tie?

Carly: That Parker got so close to Paul. That he needed someone to talk to like that, you know. If I'd been here --

Jack: We shouldn't play the "What if" game. It doesn't do anything for Parker or us. We have to say good-bye to the regrets.

Carly: Have you?

Jack: I don't have any regrets anymore. I don't regret meeting you or loving you or marrying you.

Carly: Which time?

Jack: How about you?

Carly: Loads of them.

Jack: Carly, there's something I need to tell you.

Parker: Mom -- I can't find my shoes!

Carly: I'll be right there! What is it you wanted to say?

Jack: It'll keep. Parker coming down?

Carly: Yeah. He'll be down in a minute.

Jack: What happened?

Carly: This is really tearing him up. It doesn't seem fair for someone his age to have so much loss. A father. A sister.

Jack: Come here.

Carly: No, you know we weren't going to do this.

Jack: It's for me. J.J. and Parker -- they're too macho to hug me anymore, and since Sage does what her brothers do --

Carly: You're hug-deprived.

Jack: Yeah.

J.J.: Hey, you guys are back together again.

Carly: No, J.J., we're not.

J.J.: Well, you guys looked just like the other time -- after our cookout, when I saw you guys --

Jack: Right, well whatever you saw that day didn't mean what you think it meant. Just now, I was just giving Carly a hug.

J.J.: Because you still love her.

Carly: Because we're friends.

Jack: We can still get together and help you guys whenever you're in trouble, and the two of us, we can be together whenever we're upset.

J.J.: So why is Mom upset?

Carly: We're headed to a memorial service. Do you remember Parker's friend, Paul Ryan? There was an accident and he died.

J.J.: Oh, wow. Where's Parker?

Carly: He's upstairs getting ready to go. We're going to leave in a couple of minutes.

Parker: Which one?

Carly: Blue.

Parker: Can you help me with this?

Jack: Sure. Hey, didn't you guys give me this for Father's day?

J.J.: No, Sage did. We gave you the comics, remember?

Jack: Ah, yes. It's all coming back to me.

J.J.: Parker, I'm sorry about Paul.

Parker: Thanks. Me too.

Jack: Almost done. We'll fix it in the car.

Parker: All right. You guys ready to go?

Jack: Yeah, yeah. Sage is at her friend Jillís. You can call us if you need us, okay?

J.J.: Wait -- hey Parker. Tell Faith I'm sorry about Paul, okay?

Parker: Yeah, I'll tell her. But she doesn't really talk to me anymore.

Craig: Meg shouldn't have to choose between staying here and coming with me.

Will: Then don't make her choose.

Craig: I apologize for making this day worse for you all, and I am truly sorry for this family's loss. You'll be all right?

Meg: Thank you for bringing me.

Craig: I'll wait for you downstairs.

Gwen: Get you something to drink?

Meg: No, thank you. Not for now. I really appreciate it.

Lily: I thought you were finished with Craig.

Meg: We are.

Lily: He doesn't seem to know that. Why would you bring him here?

Meg: I wanted to come. And he understood, so he offered to drive me. Lily, Craig's been a really good friend to me.

Lily: I thought he was a good friend to me, too, until he tricked me into signing over my mother's company to him.

Meg: Well, Craig hasn't lied to me or tricked me. In fact, I had done that to him. Now Paul's dead because of it.

Lily: Paul made his own choices.

Meg: Yeah, if he knew what it would cost him, I wonder -- would he have chosen me?

Lily: Kim, when the babysitter drops off Faith, could you let them know that I'll be right back?

Kim: Oh, sure.

Lily: I just have to do one little thing. Excuse me.

Kim: Okay. All right.

Gwen: This one is one of my favorites.

Will: This is when Paul used to teach me how to dunk. He'd lift me up over his head and then I'd try to put the ball in, but I'd miss half the time.

Meg: You guys look so young. And happy.

Will: We were before Craig came along.

Meg: Gwen, are you okay?

Gwen: Yeah, I think I just have, like, a bug or something. Excuse me.

Meg: How long has that been going on?

Will: A couple of days.

Meg: You know, if it's going on longer than 24 hours, she probably should see a doctor.

Will: I better go check on her.

Barbara: I'm curious, Meg. Who is this performance for?

Meg: I don't understand.

Barbara: Why are you here -- really? You trying to make Craig jealous?

Meg: What?

Barbara: This pretense of grieving for Paul. What does it get you? If you really wanted Craig, you've got him now.

Meg: I already told you, Barbara. There is nothing between Craig and me.

Barbara: You're living in his house.

Meg: I slept there one night. There was nothing intimate about it. I was going to marry Paul.

Barbara: Yes, I know -- that's what you told him. But, if that was true, where's your loyalty now, Meg? Hmm?

[Knock at the door]

Kim: Hello, Sweetheart. I'm glad to see you.

Faith: Hi, Ms. Ryan.

Barbara: Well, hi, Faith. Oh, these are so pretty. Thank you, Sweetie. Thank you.

Faith: Paul was a great guy. I wish he hadn't died.

Barbara: Thank you. I didn't realize that you were close.

Faith: Well, it started with Parker. He was friends with Paul and then kind of forced me to get to know him.

Barbara: Forced you?

Faith: Well, when we had no one to talk to, he was there, and he was crazy about Aunt Meg. He loved her so much. I hope Paul knew that she loved him too.

Meg: So do I.

Lily: I thought you were supposed to be Meg's designated driver.

Craig: If ever a man needed a stiff drink --

Lily: I need you sober.

Craig: Why, are we talking business?

Lily: No. No, no, I would never do business with you again. This is about Meg.

Craig: Oh no, I am not discussing Meg with you.

Lily: She has no problem talking about you.

Craig: What did she say?

Lily: That you're her friend.

Craig: Well that's something.

Lily: I'm just wondering how do you feel about her.

Craig: Very pretty, great body.

Lily: And you'd walk through fire for her, wouldn't you?

Craig: Probably.

Lily: So, despite everything that's happened, you still love her?

Craig: Just can't seem to shake it.

Lily: So what are you going to do about that? Go on.

Kim: Hi, Darling. I'm so glad you came.

Carly: Are you sure that we're not intruding?

Kim: No, not at all. Please, go in.

Carly: Thanks.

Parker: I'm not sure what to do.

Carly: You give that card to Barbara and you say how you feel.

Parker: Hey, Will.

Barbara: Hey, Parker. Oh, Honey, it's been a long time.

Parker: Yeah, I guess it has.

Barbara: I'm glad to see you here. Your brother is, too.

Parker: Yeah, Paul was kind of like my brother, too. Maybe he was more like a friend. This is for you.

Barbara: Thank you. Paul was very fond of you.

Parker: Yeah, I don't know. Sometimes I used to bug him and he'd try to get rid of me.

Faith: That was because he didn't want you to get in trouble for cutting school or something. So, he would pretend that he didn't want us around.

Parker: Yeah.

Faith: One time he even saved our lives. He had a vision that we were going to be in trouble.

Parker: Yeah, he used to see things like that and I don't anymore. I mean, if I had then maybe Paul wouldn't have --

Faith: It's not your fault.

Barbara: Leaving so soon?

Meg: I can't stay.

Barbara: You know, Paul's visions protected you over and over. Why couldn't you have done something to protect him?

Meg: I'm sorry.

[Meg sobs]

Lucinda: Oh, oh, oh.

Craig: I am in love with a woman who's in love with a dead man. What do you think I'm gonna do?

Lily: Given your past blackmail, kidnapping, run her off the road.

Craig: Thanks for playing "Name Craig's dastardly deeds," but I'm sorry, you will not be moving on to the bonus round.

Lily: What are you going to do?

Craig: I've already done it. I've offered Meg a way out and she's taken it.

Lily: I can't believe you would just let her walk away.

Craig: Well, I am. I am even sticking to my original deal about Montgomery Enterprises. Even with the annulment, the company is hers. Maybe she can just give it back to Lucinda now.

Lily: No strings?

Craig: No strings. No, no, not a hair. Not a filament. Not even a smidgen of dental floss.

Lily: What is Meg going to do?

Craig: She hasn't decided.

Lily: I hope she just walks away from you and the company.

Craig: You want me to keep it?

Lily: You got the company from Lucinda Walsh. You got it. The most formidable woman in the world.

Craig: No, no, Darling -- in the universe.

Lily: And then you have Meg, who you supposedly love, and you put her in the middle between you and my mother, holding the one thing my mother wants the most? What does love have to do with that?

Lucinda: Dear, can I -- would you like something to drink? Some tea, or --

Meg: I just want to get out of here, Lucinda.

Lucinda: Well, I can get you

Meg: I'm fine. I don't need you to baby-sit me.

Lucinda: Oh, perhaps you donít. But perhaps I need to make some contact with you, after all that happened at shadow cliff. I mean, it was rather insensitive of me to talk about Worldwide so soon after Paul's death.

Meg: Why were you lurking outside of Barbara's? Obviously, you must know that she doesn't want you there.

Lucinda: Lurking? I went to pay my respects along with everybody else.

Meg: You were looking for me.

Lucinda: Well, of course I expected you to be there. Where else would you be?

Meg: If you want to know, Lucinda, just ask.

Lucinda: What, Darling?

Meg: I'm not stupid and neither are you. You want to know if the deal I made with Craig is still in place.

Lucinda: Is it? Tell me. Who is in control of my company? Craig or you?

Jack: I'm going to get you something to drink. You want something? The usual?

Carly: Yeah.

Gwen: Hey.

Carly: Hey.

Gwen: It's good seeing you and Jack together.

Carly: Yeah, well, we're here for Parker.

Gwen: Well, how that usually works -- people show up together and then they just isolate in separate corners.

Carly: Well, I guess I should have read the manual then. How's Will?

Gwen: He's doing okay. It's a lot for him to take in, especially after Jen and Hal.

Carly: I am sorry, Gwen.

Gwen: It's okay. I don't know, I just don't want him to see me cry or anything.

Carly: Gwen, you're at your brother-in-law's wake. You can cry.

Gwen: I know, it's just that Will worries about me. You know, I don't want him to worry about me.

Carly: Well, you have to be able to lean on each other. You know, I had a pretty tough day, too, and Jack was there for me.

Gwen: You guys should be together.

Carly: Yeah, I think so, too. I tried to get him back, you know. I even got a little sneaky, trying to steal him away from Katie.

Gwen: Didn't work, did it?

Carly: Not so much. And then I tried flinging myself at him, telling him that I still love him, but he turned me down flat.

Gwen: Well, he's with you now.

Carly: Because of Parker.

Gwen: You know, when you were away, Will and I went through some stuff, too.

Carly: What kind of stuff.

Gwen: It's kind of a long story. We'll do the whole sister thing later, but the worst part is that I lied to him, and it just caused a lot of hurt and a lot of guilt. I can't do that to us again. Life's too short, you know?

Carly: Yeah, I know what you mean.

Will: Okay, for the last time -- are you all right?

Gwen: Yeah, I'm fine. Hey, you know, your mom's been in her room for a while. You should go check on her.

Will: Gwen, you're sick again, aren't you?

Gwen: I'm just queasy.

Will: I just saw you, you looked like you were about to pass out.

Gwen: I did not.

Will: Will you drink this?

Gwen: I'm not thirsty.

Will: You're dehydrated.

Gwen: Says who?

Will: Says Meg.

Gwen: So, you talked to Meg?

Will: Just drink it.

Gwen: Are you satisfied?

Will: Finish it, and then I'm going to take you to the E.R.

Gwen: No, how many times do I have to tell you? Honestly, I'm fine.

Craig: You have begged and pleaded with me to return the company to your mother, and how you want me to keep control of it?

Lily: You and my mother can fight it out amongst yourselves, just leave Meg out of it. What is funny?

Craig: I wish Lucinda were here to see it -- see Darling daughter sell her out.

Lily: Oh, this is not what it's about and you're an idiot.

Craig: Yeah, on that we agree. Please sit down. Explain this, please.

Lily: I love my mother, and when you stole that company away from her --

Craig: I acquired it.

Lily: When you stole the company, it devastated her, but that's nothing compared to the way Meg feels over Paul's death. She was trying to help my mother by marrying you --

Craig: By lying to me, by making me think that we had a chance.

Lily: You set the terms. Meg didnít. And it's horrible. Horrible the way that this has turned out.

Craig: I don't want Meg to blame herself for Paul anymore than you do. And maybe now, she can give the company to your mother --

Lily: This is not about the company. This is not about that. This is about Meg. She's vulnerable and confused. Do not take advantage of her grief.

Craig: I have a bride who's acting like a widow. I am not taking advantage of anything.

Lily: Stop dangling the company in front of her as a way to keep her in your debt.

Craig: She'll leave. She doesn't need me. She certainly doesn't love me. And you know what's ironic about that? Paul knew. Paul knew that by going over that cliff, he would sever any tie I ever had to Meg. He loved her so much, he just let go.

Lily: Well, that's what you need to do.

Craig: Yeah, I need to throw myself off a cliff.

Lily: No, you need to let Meg go.

Lucinda: Meg, Dear. Dear, you have my sympathy. You have my utmost empathy for your tremendous grief. Really, please sign the company back to me. It will be one less distraction for you.

Meg: You're unbelievable.

Lucinda: Well, the sooner you do it, the sooner you can divorce Craig.

Meg: Weíre getting an annulment.

Lucinda: Oh, really? When?

Meg: Craig's already started the process.

Lucinda: You can't get an annulment. You can't even dream of getting an annulment until he signs the company over to you and you sign it back to me.

Meg: Too late. Paul's dead, Lucinda. Do you really think I give a damn about a company?

Lucinda: Well, you damn well better. You ought to make it a priority. Getting my company back would at least be something to make Paulís death count for something.

Jack: I'll talk to you later, and Katie -- I love you.

Carly: So, Parker was telling me -- where's Jack?

Lily: He was on the phone outside in the hallway.

Carly: Oh, I'm sure it must be work. Anyway, well, Parker was telling me that he was afraid that Faith wouldn't be speaking to him?

Lily: Did she speak to him?

Carly: Yeah, she did for a bit and now she won't even look at him. What is going on?

Lily: Well, I don't think Faith is anxious for the world to know, but she would like Parker to be more than a friend.

Carly: Oh, I know the feeling.

Lily: I think we should be headed out.

Carly: Do you think that Faith would want to go to the farm?

Lily: She wouldn't admit it if she wanted to.

Carly: Well, why don't you take them both out to the farm then?

Lily: Oh, are you looking for some alone time with Jack?

Carly: There is something that I need to discuss with him.

Lily: Carly --

Carly: It's nothing underhanded. In fact, I need to some clean. I don't want any more lies between us.

Lily: Good.

Carly: And I think the kids should work this out. They just lost a good friend. They shouldn't lose each other, too.

Lily: That's true. Hey, Faith. Would you like to spend some time out at the farm?

Parker: That would be cool.

Faith: I don't know.

Parker: Well, if you don't want to hang out with me, J.J.'s around.

Faith: Okay.

Jack: Well, I said our good-byes. You ready?

Carly: Yeah. Lily has offered to drive Parker and Faith out to the farm so they can hang out.

Faith: With J.J., too.

Parker: Is that okay?

Jack: That's great. I can run your mom home.

Lily: Okay. Let's say our goodnights.

Parker: Thanks.

Jack: Well, it's good that you guys are getting along again.

Parker: Yeah. Thanks, mom.

Jack: Yep, definitely feeling hug deprived.

Carly: Looks like it's just the two of us.

Jack: You know, I was hoping we could use this time to have a talk.

Carly: Me, too.

Gwen: It's just the stomach flu.

Will: You really need to see a doctor.

Gwen: I promise, if I'm not feeling in 24 hours, I'll go.

Will: You know, you can wait too long on stuff like this. Jennifer got that infection, and she waited, and you know how that turned out.

Gwen: That's not going to happen to me.

Will: You can't be sure, you don't know.

Gwen: That's -- that's not going to happen to me. Look, do you want to know what I'm sure of? I know that if anybody or anything -- I mean, microbe or army tried to take me away from you, I'd pulverize them. I would. I could. Nothing's going to take me away from you, okay?

Will: Okay. But if you're not better by tomorrow --

Gwen: 24 hours. I promise.

Lucinda: Darling, you could postpone the annulment and sign the company back to me. Then, Paul's death will not have been in vain.

Meg: Am I'm supposed to find comfort in Paul dying for a corporation? What kind of perverted logic is that?

Emma: Good question.

Lucinda: Oh Emma, for heavens sake, this is a private business discussion.

Emma: And this is my daughter. Is the discussion over?

Meg: Yes.

Lucinda: You've come so far, and you've sacrificed so much. No follow through?

Emma: Good-bye, Lucinda. What was that all about?

Meg: Mom, what are you doing here?

Emma: Well, I heard there was a memorial and I wanted to show my respects. What happened there?

Meg: Lucinda wants me to get the company back from Craig and give it to Lucinda, and I'd be done with her. And maybe -- maybe she's right.

Emma: Meg, I --

Meg: What is it?

Emma: I was --

Meg: Look -- look, if you have something to say to me, please say it now. I'm going to go back to Craigís.

Emma: I see.

Meg: You know, I wish I did. I wish I knew what was right. I wish I could go back and erase everything I started with Craig. I wish Paul were here. What am I supposed to do?

Emma: Sweetheart, you know it's okay. You know how this all started, don't you? You know. You want to do a kind thing. You wanted to -- you wanted to find some kind of justice for Lily and Lucinda.

Meg: I was stupid.

Emma: No, no Sweetheart, no. It was an act of kindness, you're always doing that. You're always going out of your way to help people. So, that's what you should do. That is what you should do next.

Meg: But I can never go back to nursing. I've ruined that.

Emma: You have other options.

Meg: I can't even get my waitressing job back.

Emma: Meg, you own a corporation.

Meg: Worldwide is Lucindaís.

Emma: It's yours now. Think of all the good you can do? Think on that.

Carly: Would you like a beer?

Jack: No, I'm not going to stay that long. There's something I have to tell you.

Carly: Um, there's something that I have to tell you, too. Jack, it's about Katie and Brad.

Jack: What about them?

Carly: I know that he made her think you were going to propose to her.

Jack: Yeah?

Carly: And I know this because I was there when he came up with the idea.

Jack: You helped him?

Carly: No. No, I didn't help him. But I didn't exactly stop him.

Jack: You had to know that that would hurt somebody, right? What did you plan on accomplishing, Carly?

Carly: Brad was the one who was trying to break the you two up. And I guess I thought I could be there to pick up the pieces. But I'm sorry, I am not going to do anything like that again, Jack.

Jack: Do you have any idea how many times I've heard you say those words?

Carly: Yeah, I do. But I mean it. And I didn't lie, Jack, I'm being up front here, because I don't want to trick you into anything.

Jack: Then, you're telling me that you're still in love with me Ė

Carly: It was all true. And pretty humiliating, considering that you didn't say it back. But I had to take the chance. I had to tell you how I feel. I have to tell you, being rejected like that didn't feel too good, so I won't be doing again, anytime soon.

Jack: Anything else?

Carly: Yeah, these last of couple hours, when we've been together taking care of Parker, they've been special to me. I think they've been special to you, too. And you can't deny that we have connection, Jack.

Jack: No. No, I can't deny that.

Will: Hey, Mom? We got to get out of here. Gwen's not feeling too well.

Gwen: Hey.

Barbara: Honey, what's wrong? Do you have a fever?

Gwen: No.

Will: Does she?

Barbara: Oh, let me see. No, you're okay.

Gwen: It's just a stomach flu. I tried to tell him.

Barbara: Oh, will. He worries. So, get home. Drive safely. All right, and maybe this weekend -- no, you two have your own lives.

Gwen: You want to have dinner?

Barbara: You don't have to do that.

Will: You know, Mom, for everything that Paul did wrong in his life, he was always on my side. Just like you.

Barbara: I'll try to do fewer things wrong. Cling less. Butt out more.

Will: No, Mom, you don't have to. That's what I'm saying. I figured out that you can't measure out how much you love people. What I'm trying to say is, you love me in whatever way comes natural. And I'll figure out how to deal with it. I got your back, Mom.

Barbara: I got yours. Okay. So, dinner this weekend, right?

Gwen: It's a date.

Barbara: Okay.

Meg: Mama, I'm blown away that you would even think of that.

Emma: Well, it's not such a big leap. When you've grow things for a living, you know flowers, crops, and children. You learn to -- very early, to make use of what you have. You have a company. Use it.

Meg: But what would I do with it?

Emma: Well, you would do good Meg! You would do good. Just think about taking all that money and all that power and all those resources and making the world a better place.

Meg: I'll think about it.

Emma: Well -- well, you could think at home. In your own room.

Meg: Mama.

Emma: Oh, it's okay. It's all right, all right. I trust that you're strong enough to handle anything. And I'll trust that you can handle Craig. Remember, you can always, always come home. All right?

Meg: Thanks, Mama. You heard that?

Craig: I did.

Meg: Well, you know how mothers are. They think their kids can do anything.

Craig: Emma's right. Montgomery Enterprises is yours.

Meg: But the annulment --

Craig: Even with the annulment. It's yours.

Meg: I know nothing about running a company.

Craig: Want to know a secret? Nobody does. Not until they're forced to.

Meg: Are you trying to talk me into this?

Craig: I suppose I am.

Meg: Why?

Craig: Because, just for a moment, you were thinking about something besides Paul's death. And you smiled. You thought about changing the world.

Parker: Want anything?

Faith: No, thanks.

Parker: I can call J.J. so you guys can hang out? What's up with you, Faith? I mean, I thought you were finally not mad at me. Paul would want us to be friends.

Faith: Parker?

Parker: What?

Faith: I'm sorry I've been so mean lately.

Parker: It's okay. But why were you so mad at me?

Faith: Because -- because you said that you didn't want to be my boyfriend.

Parker: I thought you were only kidding!

Faith: I said that because I was embarrassed.

Parker: I'm sorry that I made you feel bad.

Faith: It seems so silly. Paul was our friend, and know he's gone. And you're the only person in like the whole world who knows how sad I am.

Parker: Yeah, I miss him.

Jack: What you and I have, it's overwhelming sometimes. We have a lot of history, and these kids. There will always be that bond between us.

Carly: I'm glad you feel it, too.

Jack: I respect that bond. Which is why I want you to hear this from me instead of anybody else. That little stunt that Brad pulled with Katie -- making her think that there was an engagement ring, it caused a lot of trouble for us. But we got past it. We talked.

Carly: About?

Jack: Marriage.

Carly: You just started dating her, didn't you?

Jack: Carly.

Carly: Little while ago.

Jack: Carly, I want you to know that I will be to proposing to Katie, for real.

Announcer: On the next "As the World Turns."

Dusty: Alison's in bad shape. She needs you.

Alison: I just wish, since you're sticking around, maybe we could find some way to be friends.

J.J.: You're asking Katie to marry you? When were you going to tell us about this?

Vienna: To Katie and Jack living happily ever after.

Carly: You're proposing to Katie because that's less scary than admitting you still have feeling for me.
