Dusty: How's Will?
Susan: He's doing well. Without his seatbelt, it would have been a different story.
Dusty: One of the EMTs told me he lost consciousness --
Susan: Oh, he's coming around now. We were worried about a head injury but his scans came back clear.
Dusty: So, he's going to be okay?
Susan: Except for bruising and whiplash, but it looks worse than it is.
Dusty: That's good news.
Susan: That's right. The paramedics' report said that you called 911 and you stayed with him at the accident site.
Susan: Huh. He's lucky that you were there.
Dusty: I hope he's okay.
Susan: Dusty, I never got to thank you -- for bringing Alison back from Vegas.
Dusty: Well, I never expected a thank you.
Susan: Why not? You seem to be playing a white knight on a regular basis. I'm sorry, I didn't mean anything by that.
Dusty: How about we get some coffee?
Susan: This isn't a very good time.
Dusty: Well, let's make it one. You and I need to talk about Emily. The sooner the better.
Emily: Hi. I was just here a little while ago. I think I might have left my cell phone.
Bartender: Uh -- this one?
Emily: Oh, thank you. Thank you so much for holding on to this. I appreciate it.
Bartender: No problem. Can I get you a drink?
Emily: Oh no, I'm good. Thank you though.
Cheri: Not much action these days, huh?
Emily: Cheri. Here I thought you weren't welcome at the Lakeview.
Cheri: Looks like my money's still good here. Care to join me for a glass of wine?
Emily: No. And let's skip the pretense of friendship. Shall we?
Cheri: Just trying to be sociable.
Emily: I know you're the one who told that porn producer from Vegas I was one of your girls.
Cheri: Oh, you had a problem with that?
Emily: No, not as big as you'd hoped.
Cheri: Still the tough talker. So, how's your little sister? I saw some real potential there.
Emily: Don't even think about it. And in spite of you outing me, my little sister's home. She's doing great. Thanks to Dusty. He got her out of Vegas, that whole sleazy world.
Cheri: Well, isn't that special? So does that mean that you and Donovan Do-Right are finally lovebirds?
Maddie: These flowers are beautiful. They're from the network.
Luke: They're nice.
Maddie: I know.
Luke: Can you give me a hand here?
Maddie: Oh yeah, sorry. Got it? Good. Ah! Hey, howdy, Partner!
Noah: Now that looks hot. You're going to fit right in in Branson.
Maddie: Well, I love it! We should get matching hats.
Luke: Hey, what are the hats for?
Noah: We're gearing up for Branson.
Luke: Oh, so you guys are going to Branson together?
Dallas: Anything yet?
Cop: No leads. How about you?
Dallas: Got some tire treads. I'm hoping we can pick up a footprint, if whoever did this stuck around. Hang on. I got something.
[Dallas picks up a necklace]
Gwen: Is everything okay?
Doctor: I'm getting a normal response.
Gwen: Why does he keep going back to sleep?
Will: Isn't that what I usually do when you try to wake me up in the morning? My wife doesn't approve of me sleeping in.
Doctor: Maybe this time she'll grant you an exception.
Gwen: Did you hear everything I said?
Gwen: You're going to be fine.
Will: Okay. What? Wait, why was I not fine? What am I doing in the hospital?
Gwen: You were in a car accident. Your car went off the road.
Will: Right. But it wasn't an accident.
Lily: I thought I heard you come in. Are you -- are you okay?
Jade: Oh, God. Lily. Yeah, I'm fine.
Lily: What happened?
Jade: You startled me.
Lily: Oh, let me help.
Jade: No, no, no, no, no. I've got it. I've got it. What are you doing here?
Lily: I came to see Emma. We were hoping to get some news about Meg.
Jade: Oh, well, did you hear anything?
Lily: No, no, no, not really. Holden said that Megís not going to be home until the coast guard or someone finds Paul.
Jade: I am really sorry. I hope they hear something soon.
Lily: Yeah, me too. Come give your favorite aunt a hug. I'm still your favorite aunt?
Jade: Yeah, of course. Always.
Lily: Jade, your heart is beating like a mile a minute.
Gwen: Since he's awake, could you give us a few minutes?
Will: I got a better idea. Do you want to just discharge me?
Doctor: Dr. Stewart wanted to keep you here for observation.
Will: Well, Gwen can observe me at home.
Gwen: If the doctor wants you to stay, I think you should stay.
Will: All my injuries were minor, right? Doc? So maybe you could help me out and find Dr. Stewart and see if she'll sign me out?
Doctor: I'll see what I can do.
Gwen: Why do you want to get out of here so badly?
Will: Gwen, somebody deliberately ran me off the road.
Gwen: Are you sure?
Will: Yeah. I'm positive.
Gwen: But who would do something like that? Did you see anything in the rearview mirror?
Will: I couldnít. The driver was ramming my bumper and flashing me with their brights, so I ran off the road. It doesn't matter. Whoever it was, they were really gunning for me. Do you know Cleo's outside?
Gwen: Yeah, I called her.
Will: Did you call my mom too?
Gwen: No, not yet. I wasn't sure how much concern you could deal with in one day.
Will: That's good. I don't want to deal with her right now 'cause she's just going to start in with the questions and tests, so I'll talk to her when I get home.
Gwen: But Cleo gets clearance?
Will: As long as she doesn't start crying.
Cleo: How's -- how's the patient?
Will: No permanent damage.
Cleo: Oh, my gosh. That's the best news! In that case you can have a cookie. Or you can have a lot of cookies.
Will: Thanks, Cleo. But I don't think I'm going to be hungry for a little while.
Cleo: Oh, well we can save those for later. In the meantime, I brought you someone to sleep with. I found her in the little store downstairs. I hope she doesn't make Gwen too jealous.
Gwen: She's pretty cute, but I think I'll be okay.
Orderly: Hello, Mr. Munson. How are you feeling today? Can I get you some water? Ginger ale?
Will: No thanks. I think, actually, I'm just going to get dressed right now.
Will: I got a bump on the head and a few scratches. I'm fine. I'm going home. I don't want any arguments.
Gwen: I don't think it's a good idea.
Will: Gwen, I'm going to go crazy if I stay here. I just want to get cleaned up.
Orderly: Everything's right here.
Will: Great. Why don't you guys just wait outside by the nurses' station? I won't be long.
Cleo: Are you sure you don't need any help getting dressed?
Will: This will probably go faster if you wait outside.
Cleo: Right, privacy. My bad.
Gwen: Okay, I'll be right outside.
Cleo: Is Will really going to be okay?
Gwen: Yeah, he's going to be fine. He just -- he had a close call.
Cleo: Do the police know what happened? I mean, I had this impression that he either fell asleep at the wheel or was trying to avoid a small animal or something.
Gwen: Will said that somebody deliberately forced him off the road. That they were ramming into the back of him and he couldn't even see who it was because they had their brights on.
Cleo: Oh my. That's terrible. Do you -- well no. Do you think maybe it could be that mean girl? Jade something or another?
Gwen: Why would you think Jade ran him off the road?
Cleo: Why not? I mean, she said she wanted to kill him.
Lily: Are you sure you're all right? You seem a little jumpy.
Jade: No, no. I'm fine. I was just out for a walk.
Lily: Dressed like that?
Jade: Yeah. I mean, I wanted to get some exercise and it felt really good so I guess I kind of pushed it.
Lily: It's pitch dark outside. And your heart is beating like you ran a marathon. Did something happen?
Jade: No, no, nothing happened. You just startled me. I just need some water. I will not drop the glass this time.
Lily: You know, a long time ago, Jade -- I promised your mother that I would take care of you. Always. I wish you would trust me a little bit.
Jade: I do.
Lily: Then why won't you tell me why you're so scared?
Dusty: You anxious to leave?
Susan: I don't have much time. I really have to get back to my patients.
Dusty: You accused me of not taking Emily seriously, and you were right. But I want to turn things around now.
Susan: I appreciate how you helped Alison. I really do. But if you want to help Emily, stay away from her.
Dusty: I'm not finished.
Susan: I am.
Dusty: I never have looked down at your daughter. The problems were my own.
Susan: Don't tell me, tell her.
Dusty: I have. And I'm telling you now, that like yourself, your daughter has real class. She's the bravest women I know. And I respect her.
Cheri: Maybe you don't have something going on with Donovan. You're not smiling. What's the matter? Does Mr. Wonderful have a problem with your previous line of work?
Emily: I'm not going to sit here and discuss my personal life with the likes of you, Cheri. Good-bye.
Cheri: Maybe you should set your sights on another kind of guy.
Emily: What's that supposed to mean?
Cheri: To a guy like Dusty, you're uncharted territory. I mean, he might sample the goods once, but well, he'll lose interest before you lose the afterglow.
Emily: You don't know what you're talking about.
Cheri: He tried to walk over me like I was a gum wrapper in the subway. I may be a whore, but I'm still a person. And I don't appreciate that kind of attitude. Neither do you.
Emily: You don't have a clue what Dusty's really like.
Cheri: Listen to me. There are some men can handle who we are, and some men who canít.
Emily: I'm sorry. I'm sorry, did you say, "We"?
Cheri: That's right, Sweetheart. We belong to a club that has a lifetime membership. Only sometimes, the dues are a little higher than we want.
Emily: Not for me. Dusty knows everything.
Cheri: Knowing and understanding are not the same. And if you don't get that, I feel sorry for you. Well, almost.
Maddie: When Gwen found out that she was performing in Branson, she asked me to come along.
Luke: Of course. You guys are best friends.
Maddie: And then Noah was talking to Kim about her performance, and she said that Noah should shoot some footage for "Oakdale Now" --
Noah: Yeah, which blew me away. I mean, I never thought I'd get that much freedom here.
Maddie: You should come. I'm sure Kim wouldn't mind.
Luke: No, no. I mean, somebody's --
Luke: Somebody's got to stay here and just keep the home fires burning.
Noah: You sure? I mean, in the down time, we could all work on the cell phone project together.
Luke: No, I just feel weird. I mean, Kim never mentioned anything about it to me.
Noah: Maybe she just didn't get around to it yet.
Maddie: Yeah, she wouldn't send me and Noah down there without you and leave you here doing all the work.
Noah: Yeah, I think this place will survive a week without the three of us, and seriously, we've got to get moving on the cell phone script.
Maddie: Oh, and we could save the station some money and all share a room.
Luke: Well, that does sound nice. Going to Branson, hanging out, rooming together -- no, no. It sounds like fun, but just count me out.
Jade: I'm not scared. I'm just fed up, and I'm tired of being a scapegoat.
Lily: What happened?
Jade: Nothing. I don't want to unload this on you with everything that's going on in this family.
Lily: Is that why you didn't talk to me about school?
Jade: Oh, what about school?
Lily: Those night courses that you signed up for at Oakdale University. I haven't talked to you about them since I gave you the tuition money.
Jade: Oh, yeah. I'm sorry. I'm sorry I didn't fill you in about that.
Lily: I was worried when you didnít. I thought maybe the workload was too much for you, so I called the registrar's office.
Lily: They had no grade report for you, no record of a Jade Taylor signing up for anything. Which makes me wonder what happened to the $3,000 that I gave you.
Jade: Okay, let's get started.
Lily: Jade? What happened to the money?
Cleo: Jade was out of control. I mean, I've never seen anybody that mad.
Gwen: Yeah, Noah told me that she was there when he stopped by.
Cleo: It was a huge fight. A lot of yelling.
Gwen: But he didn't mentioned anything about Jade threatening Will's life.
Cleo: She did. Gwen, that girl is scary.
Gwen: Do you know what they were fighting about?
Cleo: I don't know. I came back to the house and I just found her inside.
Gwen: Was will there?
Cleo: No. No, she was alone. She said she read my diary, which is absolutely impossible. But she wouldn't drop it, she kept going on and on about how I'd written all these evil things and how I was plotting against you. It was terrible.
Gwen: Okay, hold on. Why would Jade get so worked up about a diary she didn't even read? It just doesn't make any sense.
Susan: It takes a lot of guts to admit that you're wrong. But I'm not clear about where this is coming from. I'm glad you feel differently about Emily. But --
Dusty: Your daughter's a survivor. And I admire that.
Susan: Uh-huh. That's why I didn't eat that donut. I'm a survivor too. Look, I really have to go.
Dusty: Susan, thanks for giving me a chance to say all this.
Susan: I may have to change my mind about you again. You may be good for Emily, after all.
Emily: Hi, Mom.
Susan: Emily, are you free tomorrow?
Emily: I'm at the paper, but I can certainly make time.
Susan: I'd like that.
Emily: You would?
Susan: I've missed you. And we really have to talk.
Emily: What brought this on, Mom?
Susan: Ask Dusty.
Susan: I'll call you tomorrow. And Emily -- I love you.
Luke: Well, I guess that's everything except for the ice. And that's on its way.
Noah: Oh, cool. Well, I'll go see what's up with that.
Maddie: What is with you? Why did you shut down the minute we asked you to go to Branson with us?
Luke: I didnít.
Maddie: Yes, you did. You said no before you even thought about it.
Luke: I did not. It's just that you and Noah have things to do there. And I feel like I'd just be in the way.
Maddie: You wouldn't be in the way. And we'd have so much fun. And Noah's right. We really need to start working on our story for the cell phone thing. Oh, okay. So I thought of some really cool ideas for the main character and how she keeps falling for Mr. Wrong.
Luke: Okay, well how about this? How about you tell me before you go, and then I'll just start writing it down while you and Noah are gone?
Maddie: Am I missing something? Do you like not want to hang out with me?
Luke: No, no, no, not at all.
Maddie: Okay, because I thought after the prom, we were really good friends.
Luke: No, we are. We are. It's just that -- the timing sucks, you know?
Maddie: Does this have something to do with Noah? I mean, I know he's been kind of getting on your nerves. I can tell.
Luke: Okay, here. Why don't you just take this out to the dumpster because I really have to run? I've got to get some medicine for my grandma from the pharmacy.
Maddie: Like right this second? Its open 24 hours.
Luke: Yeah, but she's really sick and she's expecting me. So here. I'll see you tomorrow.
Maddie: Okay, whatever.
Lily: Can you tell me what you did with that money? Because you obviously didn't use it for school.
Jade: I'm sorry I didn't tell you.
Lily: So, you used school as an excuse to get cash?
Lily: So, you lied to me? I mean, that is -- that's the tough part for me. I mean, haven't lies put this family through hell lately? Jade?
Jade: I'm sorry. I will get a job. I'll pay you back.
Ly: It's not about the money. This is about trust. And letting the people that you love see you for who you really are. Ever since I got out of rehab, I said absolutely no more lying. And I'm sticking to that.
Jade: I'm sorry, okay? I won't do it again. I'm sorry I messed up.
Lily: Jade, you're going to keep messing up if you're not honest.
Jade: Look, I'm glad you found the answer, but things don't work like that for me. Every time I tell the truth, things get worse.
Cleo: Look, this is a total guess, but maybe Jade's just jealous that you're so kind to me. I mean, maybe that's why she came after me.
Gwen: No, Jade was a big problem a long time before you showed up.
Cleo: Right. I mean, she didn't try to hide the fact that she has issues with you and Will. It seems like some pretty awful stuff happened between you guys.
Gwen: Hey, is he ready?
Orderly: Just has some papers to sign.
Gwen: Okay, cool. Thank you for all your help. That was fast.
Will: Yeah. All I need now is a pen.
Gwen: Cleo just told me that Jade threatened to kill you.
Will: She's said stuff like that before though.
Cleo: She has?
Gwen: Minutes before you were run off the road?
Will: Jade was just being Jade. She talks crazy, but I don't think she'd ever really do something like that.
Lily: I should have been more on top of this. With everything that was going on with the family --
Jade: Lily, no, no, no. Please don't blame yourself for what I did.
Lily: Okay. I wonít. It's just that you're Rose's daughter. I hate to see you hurting like this.
Jade: No, I'm not. I'm not. I just hit kind of a bumpy patch. Things will be fine.
Lily: Are you sure?
Jade: Yeah. Yeah, I am sure. And thank you for not getting mad at me.
Lily: I just want you to stay close to me, Jade. I mean, if you're in trouble --
Jade: Now, look, I know that you care. I know that you care, but you really got to leave this alone. There's really nothing that you can do to help me.
Will: Jade would never try to come after me with a car. She'd get caught too easily. Besides, I think she likes torturing us too much. She's not going to give it up.
Gwen: Yeah, maybe you're right.
Dallas: Hey, Will.
Will: Hey, Dallas. You on the job?
Dallas: Most definitely. Are you up for a few questions?
Will: About the accident? Yeah, sure.
Dallas: You know, I have to say you look a lot better than the car.
Will: Well I think I'm actually getting out of here, as long as I get clearance, so --
Dallas: Good for you. I don't mind going over things in front of Gwen, but --
Will: Well, you met Cleo before, right?
Dallas: When she was brought in for impersonating your wife.
Cleo: Do you want me to wait outside?
Will: You know, I'm fine if she's in here. Let's just do this.
Dallas: Okay. So, do you have any idea who was driving the car?
Will: No clue. And I didn't really get a good look at the vehicle either.
Dallas: Okay. I found something at the crash site. Maybe you can tell me something about it?
Dallas: Can you identify this?
Will: It's Jade Taylorís. Or at least, she's got one just like it.
Gwen: Where did you find that?
Dallas: It was near some tire tracks left by the car that hit Will.
Will: Well, so, the car stopped after I went off the road?
Dallas: It looks that way. You sure about the necklace?
Gwen: Yeah, Jade wears one exactly like that all the time.
Dallas: That's what I need to know. I'm going to bring Jade in, see what she has to say about this.
Dallas: Why wait? I'll keep you informed.
Gwen: My God, Will. I mean, is it -- is it really possible that Jade did this to you?
Will: I don't know why else the necklace would show up there, do you?
Gwen: No. I mean, what other reason could there be?
Lily: Maybe I can do something. At least let me try to help.
[Cell phone rings] Excuse me. Hi, Holden. Yep, hold on one second, okay? Okay. It's Holden. I have to take this. Please, don't leave. I'll be right back, okay?
Jade: Okay, yeah. I understand.
Lily: Yeah. I know.
Luke: Hi. I didn't expect to see you here.
Jade: Yeah, I was just going for a walk and I decided to stopped in and --
Luke: Well, I am glad you did. Because I've got some good news. Noah and Maddie are going to Branson to cover Gwen's concert and I'm not going.
Luke: So? This is perfect. This is exactly what I need. This gives me time to get over my straight-boy crush on Noah. Which is just exactly what I need. However, he doesn't even know that I'm alive. Which is great I guess, because you know, it's pointless.
Jade: Oh, congratulations.
Luke: Yeah, but the weird thing is -- the more I write and try to just focus all my feelings into that, the harder it is for me to be around him. I just get so self-conscious. Do you think there's a way that I can get over this? Jade?
Luke: You didn't hear a word I just said.
Emily: Just the guy I was looking for.
Dusty: How'd you find me?
Emily: You're a creature of habit. I am a reporter.
Dusty: That easy, huh?
Emily: I think you -- you have a few spots you haunt when you're thinking things through.
Dusty: Is that what I'm doing?
Emily: I don't know. I took a wild guess. I got a weird phone call from my mother. Or someone pretending to be a calm version of my mother.
Dusty: What do you mean? I don't get it.
Emily: She called to patch things up with me. Tell me she loves me.
Dusty: Sounds good.
Emily: When I asked her where it was coming from, she told me I should talk to you. What's that all about?
Dusty: I guess it's about Will.
Alison: Is it scientifically possible for your feet to swell to twice their normal size?
Susan: And people think being a waitress is an easy job. Do you know how proud I am that you were willing to ask for your old job back?
Alison: Oh, it keeps me sober.
Susan: Sure it does. But the fact that you know that, that you're not telling yourself that you're too good for this -- it just makes my heart hurt. In a good way.
Alison: Well, they say, you know, at the meetings, that you should just keep it simple. And working here, you know, I know what I'm doing and I just come in and I do it. You can't get much simpler than that.
Susan: Well, I love you for it. I called your sister today and told her the same thing.
Alison: You two are talking again? How'd that happen?
Susan: Somebody suggested that I might be getting too critical in my old age.
Susan: Dusty. He really does care about Emily. Much more than I realized. I always thought he was, you know, a player. Some arrogant guy that just had all these women hanging all over him. That he didn't have to commit. But Emily is very special to him. And for her to have found somebody she can trust at this point in her life, it's the best thing that ever happened.
Jade: Stop being so sensitive. Of course, I was listening to you.
Luke: No. You totally tuned me out.
Jade: I did not.
Luke: Well then, what did I say?
Jade: You were going on and on about Noah.
Luke: Okay. Well, what about him?
Jade: That you're still obsessed with him, and that he's still totally clueless.
Luke: Jade, Ethan could have gotten more than that out of what I just said. Come on, I'm looking for something a little deeper here.
Jade: Luke, please. I've got my own problems.
Luke: Okay. Well, what are they, Jade? Huh? You better start talking.
Jade: No, nothing. Everything is fine.
Jade: Don't you call me that ever again!
Luke: Okay, jeez. Chill out. All I'm saying is that you're really stressed out and it's pretty obvious.
Jade: Well, I am sick and tired of this whole stupid family reminding me of how messed up I am!
Luke: Don't call our family stupid, A. [Knock at the door] But B, I understand what you're going through. Hi. Dallas, what's up?
Dallas: Is it okay if I come in?
Luke: Yeah. Yeah, come on in. Can I get you something?
Dallas: No, I'm here on official business that concerns Jade Taylor.
Will: You know Jade's going to figure out some way to explain why the necklace was there. She's going to blame someone else.
Gwen: Well, that's her MO.
Cleo: Well, that means modus operandi. It's the way in which one operates.
Will: I know.
Cleo: I'm going to head over to the police station and check on Jade. You guys go on home.
Will: No, Cleo. I'm going to go there myself.
Gwen: Will, that's crazy. You need to go home and go to bed.
Will: Gwen, someone just tried to kill me. I don't see this as nap time.
Gwen: I understand that, but you --
Will: Listen to me. Whoever did this tried to take me away from my friends, my family, and from you, the person I love the most. So I am going to go down there, and I'll find out who did it. Come on.
Luke: You have official business with Jade? About what?
Dallas: I need to bring Ms. Taylor down to the station for some questioning.
Luke: Well, can't it wait until morning?
Dallas: No, I'm afraid not.
Jade: Its okay, Luke. I just want to get it over with anyway. Okay?
Luke: Well, let me go with you.
Jade: Absolutely not.
Luke: Well, at least let me tell my mom. She'll get you a lawyer.
Jade: No, no. She's upstairs and I don't her to know about this.
Luke: Yeah, well, she's going to want to know about it.
Jade: She's got so much going on already. She just doesn't to, okay? And I need you to cover for me.
Luke: Well, she's going to find out.
Jade: It'll all be over by then.
Dallas: You ready?
Jade: Yeah, I guess so. Don't look so nervous. I'm sure it'll all be over soon. Okay?
Emily: Donuts, ice cream -- you really got to stop doing this to me.
Dusty: Go easy. I was thinking about taking you to dinner.
Emily: You know what? You've got to connect the dots for me. What's Will got to do with my mother being so nice to me?
Dusty: Will had a bad car accident tonight. He got banged up pretty bad.
Emily: Oh, my God. Is he okay?
Dusty: He's okay. He's fine. I was the first one there -- at the accident. He wasn't moving. I thought he was gone. I thought, how could this be happening? My wife's brother. He can't go, too. That'd be too cruel. But he could of.
Emily: But he's okay. He's all right?
Dusty: Yeah, I don't even know if he'd have a shot at his own future.
Emily: Well, some people donít.
Dusty: Nope. Your little girl. My wife.
Emily: Yeah, I can't make any sense of that.
Dusty: Beautiful people just disappear in an instant.
Emily: I know.
Dusty: Life's too short, you know? Even when you make the most of it, it's too short. I sure havenít.
Emily: What? What are you talking about? You've done great things, Dusty.
Dusty: No, not since my wife died. I havenít. I stay away from people. Tell myself its better.
Emily: Safer, maybe.
Dusty: Lonelier. My wife, she loved people, you know.
Emily: Well, not just people. Jen -- she loved everything. I mean, she wouldn't throw away a cracked cup because it had character. She was always a glass half-full kind of girl.
Dusty: Right. Who else would put up with me?
Emily: I miss Jen. I know you do, too.
Dusty: Anyway, so, seeing Will was a -- it was a real wake-up call.
Emily: Dusty, what are you trying to say? And why are you saying it to me?
Susan: I just feel like everything is falling into place. You're home and healthy and Emily finally found a good guy. I could be a grandmother again, one of these days.
Alison: Whoa! You're getting a little ahead of yourself, aren't you?
Susan: That's what I do best. You know that. This is cold, I need a refill. You look like you could use some, too.
Alison: No thanks. I'm headed to a meeting straight after work, and I usually have about two cups there.
Susan: I remember that.
Alison: You don't go to meetings anymore?
Susan: Oh, oh sure. Sure I do. I always drop in when I'm feeling lonely or shaky.
Alison: You still feel shaky sometimes?
Susan: Yes, I do. But not in a while. Knock on wood.
Alison: Well, that's good. I mean, it's good to feel confident about staying sober.
Susan: Well, it would be crazy to get too confident, but I don't know. On a night like this, when both my girls are doing so well, I feel like my life's in the best shape it's been in in a long, long time.
Gwen: How's your head?
Will: I'm okay.
Gwen: The doctor said that if you like dizzy or if you have a headache we should probably go home.
Will: Not until we see this through.
Gwen: I don't know if we're going to find anything out tonight. I mean, they don't even know what the other car was that was involved.
Will: I don't really care.
Maddie: Look at you. I'm so sorry.
Noah: Wow. I couldn't believe it when we heard.
Maddie: Yeah, it came out of nowhere.
Will: Maybe not.
Jade: I don't know why you can't tell me what you're investigating.
Dallas: Because I want everything on the record.
Jade: Well, whatever it is, I had nothing to do with it.
Dallas: So you've done nothing wrong?
Jade: No. What is everybody doing here? Will -- oh, my God. What happened?
Maddie: Oh, don't go there. Don't play innocent. You know you forced his car off the road.
Jade: What? Are you crazy? No, I didnít.
Gwen: Wait a minute. And Noah and Cleo both heard you threaten to kill Will earlier tonight.
Jade: Not literally. This is a total misunderstanding. Don't listen to her.
Gwen: I don't know what I'm talking about? And when you broke into our house, what? Was that a big misunderstanding?
Jade: I can explain.
Will: You already tried that.
Dallas: We have a possible I.D. on the car that hit Will and fled the scene. We think it was stolen from Gwen and Will's neighborhood tonight.
Jade: What does that have to do with me?
Dallas: Well, you admit you were in the vicinity?
Jade: Yeah, I was. But I was in my own car. I wasn't anywhere near any accident. What happened to questioning me in private? This is completely humiliating.
Dallas: Is this yours?
Jade: Yeah, that's mine. I've been looking for it everywhere. Where did you find this?
Dallas: A few feet from Will's car.
Jade: But I wasn't there! I wasnít. And if I was, why would I leave that on the ground?
Dallas: You just said you lost it.
Jade: No, wait. Will, please. Please tell me you know that I didn't do this to you.
Dusty: Sometimes my life feels like a series of mistakes. I'm sorry I'm so hard on you.
Emily: No, we've been through this. You were trying to wake me up. And I ended up being very glad that you did.
Dusty: You were in a bad place and I was hard on you. I was wrong.
Emily: So was I.
Dusty: You made everything right.
Emily: Yeah, eventually.
Dusty: Well, I'm sorry I was hard on you.
Emily: I recovered, Dusty. Remember? Over ice cream.
Dusty: Yeah, there's still something bugging me.
Emily: You're still having a problem with what I did?
Dusty: No. No, I'm having a problem with me, the way I'm living. I'm holding back.
Emily: You're holding back and you want to change that.
Dusty: Yeah, I want to enjoy what's in front of me.
Emily: Have any ideas where to begin?
Luke: Oh, hi, Mom. I brought you Grandma's prescription.
Lily: Thank you. This cold is really smothering her. Where's -- what happened to Jade?
Luke: Oh, she left right when I got in.
Lily: Oh, we were in the middle of something. I was hoping she'd stick around.
Luke: You okay?
Lily: I'm fine. But something's -- I don't know about Jade. Something's bothering her and she's not opening up.
Luke: Oh, she's used to keeping things to herself.
Lily: But she doesn't have to do that. Not with me.
Luke: Yeah but -- I mean, Jade's kind of a loaner, Mom. And --
Lily: She has a family. She needs to lean on us. Do you know where she went? I am not asking you to betray your cousin's confidence. Just tell me. Is she in trouble?
Luke: I hope not. Look, I should go. Try not to worry so much, okay.
Lily: Okay. Just do me a favor. Just be there for her, okay? Be her friend.
Luke: I'll do my best.
Lily: She really needs somebody on her side right now, okay?
Will: It's kind of hard to ignore the facts, Jade.
Jade: There aren't any facts. I just shot my mouth off, as usual. It was a misunderstanding.
Will: So, you don't hold a grudge against me and Gwen?
Jade: No, I donít. I promise.
Dallas: Look, you guys have had tension in the past, is there something specific you're referring to?
Will: I think Jade wants to make the past go away, and maybe me with it.
Jade: No, I donít. I wouldn't want that.
Will: You threatened to kill me! And Noah heard it.
Jade: Noah doesn't even know me. He wouldn't know if I was being serious or not.
Will: And Cleo heard it too.
Jade: Of course she did. Oh, my God. You set me up. You conniving little witch! I didn't do anything to Will. You did!
Announcer: Next week on "As the World Turns."
Meg: Take me home. And then get out of my life forever.
Will: Cleo, what are you doing?
Cleo: Its okay, I'm just showing you how I feel.
Will: Cleo, it's not okay.
Cleo: No, it really is okay because I love you.
Brad: So is this new campaign to get Jack back, or to pay Katie back?
Carly: Sometimes you kill two birds with one stone.
