Carly: Do something!
Simon: I'm thinking.
Carly: Well, think hard. Think fast.
Jack: Of course. I told you I'd be here. I would never miss your first science fair for anything in the entire world.
Simon: Distract him. Distract him. Go.
Carly: Okay, I'm on it.
Simon: Distract him!
Carly: I'm so glad to see you. Sage was afraid that you might not make it.
Jack: No, I told Margo I had better things to do this afternoon than catch bad guys.
Sage: Let's go, Daddy.
Jack: Okay, yeah. Lead the way.
Carly: Oh wait. Guys -- Sage, you learned so much about the solar system. Why don't you tell your dad a little bit about it before you show him the actual project, huh?
Jack: Hey, you know what I heard? They threw one of our planets out of the bus. Poor old Pluto, right?
Sage: I don't care. I like Pluto.
Jack: I like Pluto too. What about the rest of the planets? You think they're safe?
Sage: Dad --
Carly: Take it easy on him. Your father hasn't studied the solar system in a very long time.
Jack: Thank you for that. That was kind of mean, but it's all right. You're right.
Simon: Wow, you must be so, so proud of little Jill here, huh? Another Galileo in the making.
Regina: I sure am.
Simon: Sage is always raving about how brilliant her little partner is. We haven't been formally introduced. Simon Frasier.
Simon: You brought a camera. Great! Well, listen. How about I take a photo of the future grand prize winner with her mum?
Jill: We didn't win yet.
Simon: Yeah, you know what? But you will. Look around you. All these other exhibits, nowhere near as good as yours. May I?
Regina: That would be great. Thank you, Mr. Frasier.
Simon: All right.
Jack: Okay, I'm ready. Let's check it out.
Carly: Wait, um -- don't you want to know how Sage came up with the idea?
Jack: I know how Sage came up with the idea, Carly.
Carly: Come on, Jack. Build it up a little.
Jack: Sage, could you go get me a cookie at the refreshment table, please?
Sage: Then you'll see my project?
Jack: Then I will see your project. All right, Carly, why the stall? Why don't you want me to see Sage's project?
Janeen: Ooh, I love it. You should so try it on.
Janeen: But it's so cute!
Holden: I've never seen that move before.
Tea: It's my specialty.
Faith: You know what? Pull one in my size. I'll be right there, okay, Janeen?
Holden: Thank you for everything. You were amazing. Tonight was better than I ever imagined.
Tea: Well, for me too.
Dusty: Have you heard from Lucy? How's Johnny?
Barbara: I haven't heard from Lucy since she picked up Johnny for an overnight with Craig.
Dusty: Why don't you call her?
Barbara: I have. She's not answering. I think it's a mistake trusting that girl.
Dusty: I know Lucy better than you do. Johnny's in good hands.
Barbara: If she's even a minute late dropping him off tomorrow morning, I'm calling the police.
Dusty: Relax. She'll be there.
Barbara: How can you be so sure? He's at Craig's house.
Dusty: With Lucy. It's the first step, anyway.
Barbara: To what?
Dusty: I'm not going to be in here much longer.
Barbara: Really? How do you know that?
Dusty: Lucy's gonna make sure of it. Trust me. Things are looking up.
Craig: Tell me where my children are!
Lucinda: Let go of me! Stop!
Craig: I'm not letting go of you until --
Margo: Oh my God! Craig, are you all right? What's going on? Where's Johnny?
Craig: Don't let her get away.
Margo: What are you talking about?
Craig: Johnny was kidnapped.
Margo: What? When?
Craig: Ask her. She's in on the whole thing.
Margo: All right, where is Johnny?
Craig: Lucy took him. Lucinda's an accomplice. She's working with Dusty.
Margo: Is that true, Lucinda?
Lucinda: Margo, consider the source!
Craig: She basically admitted it before you got here. Johnny's been kidnapped!
Margo: By Lucy.
Margo: And how do you know this? Did she indicate in any way that she was planning to take the child?
Craig: No. But she confirmed it. They're gone. So don't waste time. Call the cops and start looking for them now!
Craig: You tell Margo what you told me, Lucinda. She said I'd never see my kids again!
Lucinda: That's been my wish their entire lives.
Craig: She said it as a fact!
Lucinda: And if there is a God up above, he'll make sure that this lunatic never sees those kids ever again.
Craig: You arrest her.
Lucinda: For not liking you?
Craig: She helped Lucy. She knows where they are!
Margo: Is that true, Lucinda?
Lucinda: As a matter of fact, I don’t. But wherever they are, it's better off than being here.
Margo: That sounds very incriminating.
Lucinda: That's not new information.
Margo: Did you see Lucy when you got here?
Lucinda: Well, yes. Of course I saw her. I talked to her and she took Johnny out. And she didn't say where.
Craig: She took him out and they're not coming back.
Margo: We don't know that. And until I establish that a crime has been committed --
Craig: Kidnapping's a crime.
Lucinda: You would know.
Craig: She probably put him in her private jet. And there's no telling where they are by now.
Lucinda: Wouldn't that be foolish and so easy to trace.
Craig: You see?
Margo: Let's take this downtown.
Lucinda: You're arresting me?
Margo: No, no. I'm just bringing you down for questioning.
Craig: Thanks, Margo.
Lucinda: Oh, all right. Well, while you're are it, why don't you charge this lunatic with assault.
Craig: I'm begging you, please. Don't waste time. Find him.
Margo: We will find him. Let's go.
Craig: No, I'm coming too.
Margo: No. You should get to the ER. Someone needs to look at that wound.
Craig: No, I don't need a doctor. I need to find my children.
Margo: You know what? I am going to get uniforms here. One of them will take you to the hospital and the others will search around and see if there's any signs that Lucy meant to take the child for more than just a few hours.
Craig: No, she didn't need to take anything. She could buy what they need.
Margo: That may very well be, but I'm working under the theory that my niece is a common sense, down to earth doctor who would never do anything so foolish, all right?
Craig: She did it for Donovan. [Margo sighing] Now please, don't waste time!
Margo: Oh, all right, all right! God! Don't you dare get blood all over my car. [Lucinda laughing] Let's go.
Jade: Okay, so why do they measure a horse by hand again?
Luke: Jade, it's not that complicated.
Jade: I'm a city girl.
Luke: Well, she is a really beautiful animal, isn't she?
Jade: Definitely, definitely. So if you get a horse for somebody for Christmas, what do you do? Put it under a tree?
Luke: No, no. It's not a surprise. Faith knows she's getting it.
Jade: Oh, I can't wait to see her take her first ride.
Luke: Well, don't be a bystander. You should saddle up and go with her.
Luke: Yeah, you. Seriously, Jade. You're going to be a pretty good rider. You should go.
Jade: I like my horsepower under the hood. Besides, all the cleaning up and stuff afterwards --
Luke: Oh, come on, you get used to it.
Jade: No, Luke, you don’t. Anyway, so does she have to wait until Christmas to take her first ride, or --
Luke: Oh, no, no, no. She just has to wait and make sure, you know, that -- my dad has to make sure that she can handle a new animal. He'd never let her off alone unless he knew that, you know, both of them are comfortable with each other.
Jade: So I guess she just gets to look at it. I mean, her.
Luke: No, no, no. And groom her and brush her.
Luke: It is for Faith. Hey, Faithy. I thought you were supposed to be Christmas shopping.
Faith: Not now, Luke.
Jade: Are you okay?
Luke: That's some Christmas cheer you've got there.
Jade: Yeah, and speaking of Christmas, one of your presents just arrived in the barn.
Luke: And it is a magnificent animal, Faith.
Faith: I don't care about a stupid horse.
Jade: What's wrong?
Faith: Dad's just trying to buy me off.
Luke: What? Why would he want to do that?
Faith: So I won't be mad when he leaves Mom again.
Luke: What are you talking about?
Faith: I saw him, Luke, in town with another woman. Merry Christmas.
Luke: Faith, wait.
Jade: Let her go.
Luke: But that's crazy.
Jade: No, it's not. Luke, I saw Holden with another woman, too.
Holden: You know, I really hated all this sneaking around, but I have to tell you, it was worth every second.
Tea: I'm glad Lily liked her gift.
Holden: Thank you again.
Tea: Stop thanking me. You were a great student.
Lily: I'm glad you're still here. That was -- it's just an amazing, amazing present. Thank you.
Tea: It was my pleasure.
Lily: I can't wait for the kids to see us. The old folks still got it.
Lily: I would love for you to meet my children.
Tea: Oh, I'd like that too. But I have another appointment right now, so I've got to run. Have fun, you two.
Holden: We will.
Lily: Yeah, we will. Thank you.
Holden: Hey, don't expect much from our kids.
Lily: Oh. Wouldn't it be fun to gross out Faith when you pull me into that --?
Holden: So where is she? I thought you guys were shopping together.
Lily: We were shopping, but then I saw my husband and I thought he was having a little rendezvous with a beautiful blonde, so Faith left with Janeen and her mother.
Holden: Don't you know by now that I could never look at any other woman but you.
Lily: Of course I know that. Can you forgive me?
Holden: Of course I can. Because I'm putty in your hands.
Lily: Good, good, okay! Putty in my hands. Well, Faith wanted those beautiful -- see the riding boots and hats for Christmas? You want to go shopping with me?
Holden: Sure, let's go.
Holden: Are you sure that you like your Christmas present?
Lily: I love it. And I love you.
Carly: Jack, of course I want you to see the project. Sage has worked very hard on it. It's just that, Jill, she's such a brainiac, such a know-it-all. And it's been difficult for Sage to keep up. I just want you to make a big deal out of it, you know? Make her feel like she's the star.
Jack: All right, all right. Thank you for the heads-up. I appreciate it. Hey!
Sage: Here's your cookie, Dad.
Jack: Thank you very much. Oh, I am so excited for you. This is a big project. So I have a couple more questions about the solar system.
Sage: Ask Jill.
Jack: I don't want to ask Jill. I'm sure you know just as much as Jill and I know you know a lot more than me about this stuff. I'm a cop, not an astroly -- mer.
Sage: Well, a long time ago, people thought the earth was in the middle.
Jack: It isn't?
Sage: Dad, the sun is!
Jack: I'm just teasing you. I'm teasing. What's your favorite planet?
Jack: Yeah, mine too.
Sage: The rings are pretty.
Jack: They are, aren't they? You know, when I was a little kid, my dad would take us out in the backyard with this really cool telescope, and if you looked hard enough, you could almost make out -- just about make out the rings.
Jack: I know.
Simon: That's it. You know what? Just a little more to the left. That's it. That way. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Jill: But our project's over there.
Regina: She's right. Let's switch. You stand here.
Barbara: If there's some kind of plan here, would you please tell me?
Dusty: Be patient.
Lucy: They're expecting a ruling at the end of the week. And we've got to do something.
Dusty: Have a seat. I'm going to need your help.
Lucy: I'll do anything I can to keep Johnny safe.
Dusty: Help me break out of here.
Dusty: It's actually better you don't know.
Barbara: I just don't understand what you think Lucy can do for you right now.
Dusty: Lucy came here and we talked. And I believe she wants what's best for Johnny.
Barbara: And what if Craig convinces her he's what's best?
Dusty: He can't get to her anymore.
Barbara: He got to her in that courtroom.
Dusty: This is different.
Barbara: How can you be so sure? If we lose Johnny --
Dusty: We're not losing Johnny. All right?
Lucinda: My attorney's on the way.
Margo: Good. You're gonna need him.
Craig: You grill her before he gets here.
Margo: She has her rights.
Craig: What, to take my son? Are you on my side or what? She committed a crime. Where are my children, Donovan? You tell me where they are!
Simon: Well, the idea is to take pictures of all the other exhibits first, so when you get them back and you can remember how much better yours really was. Then I'll take one with you in front of the solar system.
Regina: That's a wonderful idea, Simon.
Simon: It's not a bad idea at all. Ready? Just, just -- that's it. Get everything in frame here. Smile, Jill. Big blue ribbon smile.
Jack: Honey, I know how hard you've worked on this project and I'm very, very proud of you. More importantly, you should be proud of yourself. So come on, lead the way. Show me this thing. Let's go.
Simon: Okay, just one more. Ready. Just for safety.
Jack: Oh, I can see it from here. Look at that thing. It looks awesome!
Simon: Hey, smile, Jack. You know what? I think we got it on the first shot. I mean, how can you spoil such an adorable little face?
Sage: It's gone!
Jack: What? What's gone?
Sage: My sun. It's gone!
Luke: Just tell me what you saw.
Jade: I don't want to start any trouble.
Luke: Well, it sounds like there's already trouble.
Jade: I don't want to hurt you guys.
Jade: Okay, I saw your dad with another woman. A very pretty woman. First time I saw them was at Java.
Luke: Well, how do you know that it wasn't about work or something?
Jade: I could tell that it wasn’t. Something about the way that they were laughing together. And then he touched her hand. And later I caught him lying to your mom and he let me cover for him.
Luke: No, no, no. I don't believe it. There has to be something, some other reason.
Jade: Faith must have seen something too.
Luke: Well, then, I'll talk to my dad.
Jade: Oh, great. What are you going to say? "By the way, I hear you're having an affair"?
Luke: Jade, you don't know that.
Jade: No, no. I don't know that for sure. But you should brace yourself for the worst.
[Cell phone rings]
Luke: It's my dad. Hey, Dad.
[Faith is hiding around the corner]
Holden: Did your sister get home yet?
Luke: Yeah, she's here at the farm.
Holden: What about her horse? Is it there? Has she seen it?
Luke: Oh yeah, the horse is here, but she hasn't seen it yet.
Holden: Are you okay? You sound a little down.
Luke: I'm fine.
Holden: You guys stay put. Your mom and I are on our way over there and we want to tell you something while you're all together.
Holden: You'll find out when we get there.
Luke: He and my mom have something to tell us and they want us to all be together when they do it.
Faith: They can save the drama. They're getting a divorce.
Luke: Hey, Faith, he didn't sound upset.
Faith: That's because he already moved on to someone else.
Luke: Hey, why don't we just wait and see --
Faith: It's always the same, Luke. They figure if they buy us enough stuff, we won't realize our whole family's falling apart.
Luke: Faith, where are you going?
Faith: To the barn. Don't follow me!
Jade: Luke, let her go. You're not going to be able to get through to her now.
Margo: All right, let him go. [Craig screams] Calm down. You're going to hurt yourself.
Craig: He knows where they are.
Dusty: Yeah, I know where they are. Stuck in here.
Barbara: What's he talking about?
Margo: Craig says that Lucy kidnapped Johnny.
Dusty: He's crazy.
Craig: So what's the plan, huh? She goes off somewhere and hides with him until you get out of here?
Dusty: Margo, get rid of him.
Margo: Come on, let's go.
Craig: No, he knows where they are.
Dusty: Yeah, I did it!
Craig: Margo, he knows where they are. I know he does.
Dusty: Why are you so paranoid?
Barbara: Is he telling the truth, Dusty?
Dusty: Sure, why not? I'm glad Lucy took off. Away from you. She's safe.
Barbara: And what about Johnny? Aren't you worried about Johnny?
Dusty: Johnny's safer. Johnny is much safer with her.
Craig: You see? He's practically admitted it!
Dusty: Am I? Is that what I'm doing?
Craig: Yeah. Lean on him, Margo. He knows more.
Dusty: No I don’t. I got no idea where Lucy is.
Barbara: You're awfully calm about this.
Margo: Yeah, Dusty, how do you do that?
Dusty: Because my boy is away and safe from the worst thing that ever happened to him.
Craig: He got Lucinda to work it from the outside.
Lucinda: No, actually, Dusty had nothing to do with it, nor had I. Because Lucy has left Dusty, too. She's left all of us.
Dusty: What are you talking about?
Craig: Don't play dumb.
Lucinda: Darling, I hate for you to hear it this way, but Lucy’s taken Johnny. She's taken him far away from both you and Craig. And she sure has convinced me that she has no intention of coming back.
Announcer: Coming up on "As the World Turns" --
Lucinda: Take a good look in the mirror. That guy is the reason why you can't have your son now.
Jack: You know, from Sage's description, it kind of looks like she was talking about the diamond Simon gave you.
Carly: Well, then, it should be pretty easy to find, shouldn't it?
Simon: What was that for?
Jill: You took our sun. Give it back or I'm telling.
Margo: Lucinda, how do you know this?
Lucinda: Because I talked to the girl before she went.
Dusty: You put her up to it?
Lucinda: Of course I didn’t. As I said to Margo earlier, I don't know where she is.
Craig: She never would have done this on her own.
Lucinda: I think both you men have underestimated that girl.
Dusty: Where is she?
Lucinda: Darling, I'm telling the truth. I don't know.
Margo: All right, let me get this straight. Lucy has quit her job at Memorial. She's run off to take care of this child, making herself a fugitive in the process?
Lucinda: Because she wants to save the boy from being fought over and torn apart by these two men! And I think it is very sad that she didn't believe there was any other option.
Margo: All right, all right. I will put out an APB and I will run an Amber Alert. We will screen the airports, the bus stations and all the car rental agencies.
Dusty: Why don't you call her cell phone?
Margo: No, no, no.
Dusty: I'll talk to her and I'll get her back here.
Margo: She would have gotten rid of that.
Craig: Forget about it, Donovan.
Margo: We know that would be tra -- you know what? Come on. Why don't you let me handle this? I want you to come and sit down. You've been injured. All right? I don't want you collapsing on me. Come on.
Lucinda: Margo, could I talk to Dusty alone?
Craig: No, don't leave them alone. She knows too much.
Margo: Come on, let's get out. Malone! Get in here. Keep an eye on these two while they're talking.
Lucinda: Margo, that's not necessary.
Margo: I feel it is necessary. I'll be back soon. Come on, come on.
Lucinda: Barbara, could we have some privacy?
Barbara: I'm not going anywhere until you tell me where my grandson is.
Lucinda: Not only do I not know, I don't want to know.
Barbara: Don't insult me. You never would have let Lucy leave if you hadn't arranged a soft landing for her somewhere.
Lucinda: I don't know where my granddaughter is.
Barbara: She has my grandson. You should've stopped her!
Lucinda: Don't you think I tried? Don't you think I tried? You think I want that kind of life for either of the kids?
Dusty: Barbara, you gotta go.
Barbara: I have a right to know.
Dusty: Please, get out of here.
Barbara: I will not be shut out of Jennifer's son's life by Lucinda or Lucy or you. And if Margo’s people don't find them in the next 24 hours, I will put so many PIs out on this, there won't be a place in this world that Lucy can hide.
Lucinda: My heart goes out to her. I feel really sorry.
Dusty: Where's my son?
Lucinda: I don't know. She didn't give me any details.
Dusty: Why would you let her take him? He's not hers to take.
Lucinda: But she got him out of the holy war between you and Craig. Darling, you're looking at jail time. You can't raise him and she didn't want Craig to.
Dusty: It's wrong! You hear me? It's wrong. She knows it's wrong.
Lucinda: And she also did one thing you didn’t. She honored Jennifer's last wish.
Dusty: Jennifer wanted my son to be with me, don't forget that.
Lucinda: Jennifer wanted you to give him a happy life. You can't do it. You can't do it now. So instead of ranting about what Lucy has done, just be grateful that she had the guts to put the welfare of your son before her own.
Lily: Oh, good, something to keep us warm! Any left?
Luke: Yeah, on the stove.
Luke: Where's Dad?
Jade: Yeah, it sounded like you guys were coming together.
Lily: We did. But Holden stopped by the barn. He wanted to see the horse. He was so happy that she got here on time. Where's Faith?
Luke: At the barn, I think.
Lily: Good, she can come back with her dad and then we can all talk.
Luke: Mom, what's going on?
Lily: It's a surprise.
Luke: Well, Faith came home pretty upset.
Lily: Why? Did she have a fight with Janeen? They always get --
Luke: It wasn't Janeen. It was you and Dad.
Holden: Hey Luke, I thought you said that they put the horse in the barn.
Luke: Yeah, yeah. They brought the horse. We put some straw down, made her comfortable. I think Faith went down there just a little bit ago.
Holden: Are you sure? Because the horse is gone and Faith is nowhere in sight.
Carly: Well, Sweetheart, I'm sure it's here somewhere. It probably just fell off.
Jack: Mommy's right. We'll look. We'll track it down. I find things, that's what I do. That's my job. How about we go look together? Yep. What does it look like?
Sage: Like glass, only shinier. A lady gave it to me. It's just like Mommy’s.
Jack: What do you mean, just like Mommy's?
Sage: Like her necklace.
Carly: Why don't we split up and look for it so we can find it before the judges make their rounds.
Simon: Grand, grand idea. How about you guys take this portion of the room over here and I'll take this one.
Sage: But the project, it's ruined!
Jack: No, Honey, your solar system looks great. Are you kidding me? It's just missing one little piece. Here, here. You take my badge. We'll put it on you and we'll make this an official investigation, you and I. What do you say?
Carly: Get rid of it.
Simon: Okay, all right.
Carly: Hey, I'm going to help you guys over here, okay?
Jack: You know, from Sage's description, it kind of looks like she was talking about the diamond Simon gave you.
Carly: Oh, well, then it should be pretty easy to find, shouldn't it? It doesn't matter anyway. Sage, even if we don't find it, Dad and I are still going to take you for a big hot chocolate to celebrate, because we are very proud of you.
Jack: Yeah, let's try and put the sun back in the solar system first, though.
[Jill kicks Simon in the leg]
Simon: Owwwww! What was that for?
Jill: You took our sun. Give it back or I'm telling.
Simon: Okay, stop that. Stop that. All right?
Jill: Where is it?
Simon: How about you and I look together, okay?
Jill: You don't have to look. You already know.
Simon: Okay, okay. I'll tell you. Stop. All right, fine. All right? You're right, you're right. I do have it, but it's right here.
Jill: That's lame.
Simon: Sorry, short notice.
Jill: I saw you reach for the sun.
Simon: I wasn't reaching for anything. I was merely taking a photo of you and your mom.
Jill: You took it!
Simon: I did not take your sun.
Jill: I want that sun back.
Simon: It's not even your sun anyway, it's Sage’s. Don't get your ribbons in a twist. Do you really want her getting all the attention? Huh?
Jill: I want to win the grand prize.
Simon: Sweetie, there is something so much better than winning.
Jill: Like what?
Simon: Like really winning.
Jill: A stupid quarter?
Simon: No, no. Like 20 stupid quarters.
Jill: How about 80 quarters?
Simon: 80? What? That's like 20 bucks!
Jill: I'm advanced math.
Simon: Fine, you drive a hard bargain, Kid. All right, here. What are you doing now?
Jill: I'm going to need the rest of this.
Simon: All right, fine! Just give me my -- what are you --? You know what? Why don't you go buy yourself an advanced chemistry set, okay? And make sure you don't blow anything up. Oww!
Jack: Here you go, Babe. You sure you don't want anything?
Carly: No, I'm fine, thank you.
Jack: Sage, I'm sorry we couldn't find the piece to your sun.
Sage: Me too.
Jack: Are you sure it looked like the diamond in Mommy's necklace?
Carly: Hey, you know what, Sage? While that hot chocolate is cooling off, would you mind going up to the counter and getting me one of those brownies by the register?
Sage: Sure, Mom.
Carly: Thanks. You know how I am about brownies. [Carly sighing] Oh, come on, Jack. To Sage, anything that sparkles is a jewel. And our little girl happens to have a very active imagination.
Jack: So you're saying that she imagined her sun looked like your diamond.
Carly: So how slow are things at the station?
Jack: Not as slow as you think. I tell you what, why don't you let me take a look at that necklace and then we'll know for sure if Sage used the real deal in her project or not.
Lily: Faith should have been back by now. Where is she?
Jade: I think she wanted some time alone.
Luke: Yeah. Like I said, she was pretty upset when she left the house.
Holden: About what?
Luke: She thought that --
Jade: Go ahead. Tell them.
Luke: Faith got the idea that -- that you're breaking up again.
Lily: What? Why would she have a crazy idea like that?
Luke: Well, are you?
Lily: No, no! No, absolutely not. We've never been happier.
Luke: Faith said that she saw you with somebody else.
Holden: You're probably right.
Luke: Who's Tea?
Holden: You know what? We'll talk about it later. In the meantime, I'm going to go saddle up and look for her.
Lily: Okay, I'm going to come with you.
Holden: No, no. Stay here in case she shows up. I'll find her.
Holden: Don't worry.
[Knock at the door]
Barbara: Thank God you're here. I'm at my wit's end.
Will: What else is new?
Barbara: This isn't funny. Johnny's gone.
Will: What? What do you mean?
Barbara: Lucy took him. Apparently she was so sick of the bad blood between Dusty and her father that she decided that Johnny was better of without either of them, so she took him away permanently.
Will: Wait, so no one knows where they are?
Barbara: No, no, no. Apparently she has no intention of coming back. Will, Johnny's all I have left of Jennifer. If I never see him again --
Will: Mom, don't talk like that.
Barbara: We have to do something! We have to do something. Jennifer. Jennifer's our family. So your brothers and I, we have to find a way to get him back. We do.
Will: Yeah, of course.
Barbara: She would want Johnny with us.
Will: Absolutely. So the cops are working on this, right?
Barbara: Supposedly they are, but you know as well as I that Lucinda has enough power and enough money that she can fix it and buy Lucy some new identity and Johnny as well. So if we don't hire our own people, he can be so far underground that we will never find him.
Will: Okay, Mom. What do you need me to do?
Barbara: I want you to help me convince Paul to help us. He knows people who can bend rules and --
Will: Mom, he's gotten into a lot of trouble for going down that road.
Barbara: Don't you think this is an emergency?
Will: Yes, of course. And I care a lot. You know how important Johnny is to me, so I'll make a deal with you. I'm going to let the cops work on this for a week, and if they don't find him, then you and I will sit down with Paul and we'll figure something out.
Lucinda: Okay. Lucy didn't betray you, Darling.
Dusty: Lucy's like her old man.
Lucinda: Sure. She's selfish and uncaring. She's evil.
Dusty: She's a liar. Promising to help.
Lucinda: Well, if she kept that promise --
Dusty: Said she loved me.
Lucinda: Yeah, well, she loved you enough. Enough to give up her life, her career to raise your son. Enough to protect you. And protect you from the rage that's inside of you that's consuming you.
Dusty: My son belongs with me.
Lucinda: You lost Johnny the minute you pulled the trigger, you know? And lost and lost all reason and logic.
Dusty: I'll get him back.
Lucinda: Oh, great. Well, now if you were to get out of here and you may, what are you going to do then? What then? You going to finish off Craig?
Dusty: I'll find him before they do.
Lucinda: What happened? What happened to the nice guy that was Jennifer's husband? Who was so kind to her and her sick boy? Gentle loving man?
Dusty: His wife died. My son is the only thing that matters to me in this world.
Lucinda: Johnny's safe. Use this time. Use this time to prove to the law that you can be trusted with that boy.
Dusty: The law's on Montgomery’s side, you get it? He paid them all off.
Lucinda: If you going around killing people -- I mean, if you kill Craig, you can forget about being Johnny's father ever.
Dusty: My son does not belong with Lucy.
Lucinda: Well, who do you want to raise him? Do you want Barbara to raise him?
Lucinda: Barbara who gave --
Dusty: Me! I should be raising him.
Lucinda: Darling, if you want to know the reason why you're in this mess, if you want to know --
Lucinda: Take a good look in the mirror. Look in the mirror! That guy. That guy is the reason why you can't have your son now.
Carly: I miss your subtle little interrogations, Jack.
Jack: I'm not interrogating you.
Jack: Our daughter is upset and I'm trying to help.
Carly: Well, fine. Then why don't I run home. I can look through my costume stuff. I can find another little sun and I will run it over to the science fair.
Jack: Or she'll be over it by the time she gets back with that brownie.
Carly: Are you over it, Jack?
Jack: Getting a peek at that necklace would help.
Carly: Well, I would like to show you my necklace, but I can’t.
Jack: Why not? Carly, you can tell me anything. You know that, right? And I wouldn't -- I would do anything to help you.
Carly: Jack, I can't show you the necklace because I lost it.
Jack: How long?
Jack: How long has it been missing?
Carly: Well, I noticed it this morning. I keep it in my nightstand. I know that's not very smart. I tore the drawer apart, didn't find it. I checked the whole house. I haven't seen it anywhere.
Jack: Because it's at the station.
Carly: It was stolen?
Jack: Yes, and I can't give you any more details so please don't ask me.
Carly: You know, I thought I heard someone in the house! It was Katie, wasn't it? Oh, she's had it in for me since she and Mike broke up. Well, I want it back, Jack. It's worth a fortune!
Jack: Exactly how much do you think its worth?
Carly: I don't know. A lot.
Jack: It seems strange that a stone similar to that would be missing from Sage's project, don't you think?
Carly: Right. I forgot. You're rock solid on Sage's description.
Jack: She knows what she knows. She's like her mom.
Carly: You know, Jack, I'm stumped. I can't explain it. I just feel bad that Sage has seen the last of her little sun.
Luke: At first, I thought Faith was just being dramatic. You said that you had something to tell us together and she automatically assumed that it was bad news.
Lily: I never, never should have left her while we were shopping.
Luke: Mom, you didn't know.
Jade: It's not your fault.
Lily: I'm the mother. Everything is my fault.
Luke: So are you going to clear up this mystery?
Jade: Who is Tea?
Lily: I can't talk about that right now. I'm just too worried about your sister.
Luke: That must be them.
Lily: Where is Faith?
Holden: I don't know. She's not here? I found the horse, but I didn't find Faith.
Barbara: You think I'm being hysterical?
Will: No, Mom. Not at all. For once.
Barbara: Okay. I'll give the police a week.
Will: You actually going to take my advice?
Barbara: Yes. It makes sense.
Barbara: When did you get all grown up?
Will: Hey, I'm a married man now, remember?
Barbara: I do remember. How's Gwen?
Will: She's doing good. She's actually in L.A. right now.
Barbara: What's she doing in L.A.?
Will: She's shooting the cover of her demo.
Will: I didn't actually get a chance to tell you, Mom. She's working on a demo with Adam and she's really great. He thinks that she's going to have, like, a huge career.
Barbara: Wow, that's very exciting.
Will: You want to see excited, you should see her. She's never been to L.A. before.
Barbara: Well, Honey, why didn't you go with her?
Will: I could have, but I'm busy. I got stuff to do. Actually, you'll be the first to know, I got into Oakdale U.
Barbara: Oh Honey, that is so great. I'm so proud of you.
Will: Yeah, Gwen doesn't even know yet.
Barbara: Well, call her!
Will: Yeah. Later. She just got there. She's probably really busy with stuff.
Barbara: You don't think she'd want to hear this news?
Will: No, I'm sure she does. But I don't want Adam to get on my case about stuff.
Barbara: About what?
Will: Well, he doesn't really like interruptions when they're working, you know. He says it's not professional. And he's kind of right. If he's going to be a professional then she can't be taking calls all the time.
Barbara: You are not just any call, you are Gwen’s husband. And while you're at it, you tell Adam that if he thinks he can tell you when and where you can call your wife, then he's got another thing coming.
Dusty: I don't care why Lucy did what she did. I'll never forgive her.
Lucinda: I think she knows that.
Dusty: Johnny's my son. He's all I got left of my wife and now he's gone.
Lucinda: I so sorry.
Dusty: And Montgomery’s gonna find her. Montgomery's gonna find Lucy and then what? Lucy hasn't fixed anything. She made things worse. I'll get my son back. I'll get him back.
Cop #2: Your lawyer's here, Ms. Walsh.
Lucinda: Oh, okay.
Dusty: If you hear from Lucy, tell her I'm coming.
Lucinda: If I hear from her, I'm going to give her your message.
Craig: Where is she, Lucinda?
Lucinda: I should have hit you harder.
Margo: Oh stop, stop, stop.
Craig: Oh, forget it. You wouldn't tell me if you knew anyway.
Lucinda: Right on!
Margo: Craig, we will find Lucy.
Craig: She planned it. She looked me right in the eye and she lied to me. And she was good at it.
Margo: I wonder where she learned that.
Craig: I just wanted the three of us to be a family. I wanted -- I wanted a family. Finally.
Margo: Do you even know how to do that, Craig?
Craig: Oh, please, Margo. Don't talk down to me now.
Margo: No, come on. No, look, look. Craig, you push people into such a tight corner that they have to come out swinging in order to survive and if they do survive, they certainly don't want to go back there. And look at your hit list. Barbara, Rosanna, Jennifer, now Dusty.
Craig: I just want to love my son. I just -- I just want to love my children.
Margo: Your expectations are too high for children. Children are not put on this earth to meet such expectations.
Craig: Yeah, well, it doesn't matter now, does it? They're gone and I'm paying the price. I'm all alone.
Margo: No, no. You're not.
Margo: Stop what you're doing! You've refractured that arm!
Dusty: I just wanted to break something!
Margo: God. I've got to get you to the hospital.
Dusty: No, I don't want to go to the hospital.
Margo: I have to. I have no choice.
Dusty: Take me back to my cell.
Margo: I have to take you to the ER and you know it! Damn it! I need medical transporting ASAP.
Next week on "As the World Turns" --
Will: And come January, Gwen and I will both be students and life will get back on track.
Adam: You were incredible!
Craig: When I set you up for the fall, you won't even see it coming.
Faith: Don't get a divorce.
Jack: You want to keep what you have left? Your career, your kids, your freedom? You have to say good-bye to Simon Frasier for good.
