Lily: I feel silly in this chair.

Holden: Every patient gets the ceremonial wheel-out, you know that.

Lily: Yeah, when are the discharge papers gonna be ready?

Holden: The nurse said to stay put. There's no rush.

Lily: Yeah, easy for her to say.

Holden: And you know what? Don't scare me like that again.

Lily: Oh, I'm fine. I haven't had a contraction in days.

Holden: You know what? I got a way to combat that high blood pressure.

Lily: Are you gonna send Jade to Mars?

Holden: No. I'm prescribing lots of bed rest and a couple of full body massages.

Lily: Oh, well, who's gonna watch the girls while you treating me like royalty?

Faith: Mommy!

Lily: Hi!

Jade: I told you we'd see Mommy.

Luke: We took the girls to the spring fair at Faith's school.

Lily: How was it?

Jade: Incredible.

Holden: And who's the artist?

Faith: Jade.

Jade: They told me that Lily signed up for a spot at the face painting booth, so I took your spot. I didn't think you'd mind.

Holden: No, no, no, no.

Lily: Yeah, you have a hidden talent.

Jade: For smiley faces and rainbows. But, Luke took a lot of pictures. You should show her.

Holden: How tell me, how much cotton candy did you have? A lot?

Luke: Here, Mom, check this out. This is Faith coming out of the moon bounce.

Jade: Natalie, they let me go in with her and we went halfway to Mars.

Nick: Steady.

Carly: I'll get the lights. Ow!

Nick: You all right?

[Carly laughing]

Carly: Ouch! Somebody moved that chair.

Nick: Yeah, while you were gone?

Carly: Uh-huh.

Nick: That's your story?

Carly: And I'm sticking to it. Don't you want to go back to the party?

Nick: Where's your kids?

Carly: When did my children become your business?

Nick: You're right. They're not. I'll see ya.

Carly: They're at a neighbors for a sleepover.

Nick: So you're alone?

Carly: Not at the moment, no.

Nick: But you're not going out?

Carly: No and obviously I'm not driving anyplace because my car's at the Crash place in the parking lot.

Nick: I'll pick that up for you in the morning.

Carly: No, no, Nick, I can do it. Believe it or not, most days I am pretty good at running my own life.

Nick: Yeah, I can see that, Carly. Bye.

Carly: But, wait -- I'm sorry. Don't go.

Announcer: The role of Casey Hughes is being played today by Scott Porter.

Lisa: Oh, now, wait a minute. You're not leaving are you?

Katie: No, no, we'll be back in a few minutes.

Lisa: Good. I'm gonna have champagne on your table.

Mike: Thanks, Lisa.

Katie: Thanks.

Lisa: Sure.

[Mike sighs]

Katie: Are you crazy? Postpone our wedding? I thought you knew me.

Mike: I do --

Katie: And trusted me.

Mike: Okay, I do trust you. But I don't trust the future. I don't know where I stand with the Oakdale Pd.

Katie: Mike, if we're not a team on this -- if we're not in this mess together, then why stop at postponing the wedding? Let's just call the whole thing off.

Will: Carly probably needed some air. She was really slamming back the wine.

Gwen: Yeah, I think she left with Nick or --

Maddie: You know what, though? It might be a good thing that she's not here for your number, it might make you more nervous.

Casey: Maddie's right. Family pressure -- oh, man, it makes you a little tight.

Gwen: I don't think I could get more tight.

Will: So then don't sing. You know, you don't have to if you don't want to and you don't have to prove to anything to me or anybody.

Casey: Well, how about me?

Will: You don't really count.

Casey: Man, that's cold.

Will: It's not worth stressing.

Casey: You said you're gonna sing, so, you're singing.

Emily: I guess all I have to do is trust you, one more time.

Paul: Yeah. One more time.

[Emily sobbing]

Emily: All I ever wanted was for you to love me.

Paul: I know.

Emily: See, the thing of it is, after everything I know. After everything that's happened. If I trust you, if I take your hand --

Paul: What, what?

Emily: I'd never be able to forgive myself.

[Emily jumps over the cliff]

Paul: No! Emily, no! No! Emily no! No! God! Emily! Emily! No! I gotta get down there!

Meg: I'm going with you.

Paul: No, it's dangerous.

Meg: I know a path.

Dusty: Call your father.

Meg: I was out here all night looking for a gun once, remember? Okay, I'll show you the way.

Dusty: Tell him we need an ambulance and a medevac unit. They might need a chopper to get her out. Jennifer, do you hear me?

Jennifer: I, I, I -- I don't know the number!

Dusty: Hal's number's is in your phone. I'm going down there.

Jennifer: No, no, no, you're hurt --

Dusty: You tell Hal where we are. Listen to me, use this map if he needs coordinates.

Jennifer: No, you can't climb that bluff, it's too steep.

Dusty: If Emily's still alive, I gotta hear her last words. Call Hal.

Jennifer: Be careful.

Paul: Emily! Meg, she's here!

Meg: Okay, get your coat over her. Okay, just be careful, don't move her. Keep her still.

Paul: She's -- she's cold. She's clammy.

Meg: Could be shock. We need to keep her head immobilized.

Paul: I should've just grabbed her, you know. She -- she was right there. I didn't want to scare her.

Meg: I can't check her pupils. It's too dark.

Dusty: Jen's calling Hal. Is she dead?

Paul: Meg?

Meg: I can't get a pulse.

Mike: You want to cancel the wedding?

Katie: Yeah, if you have no Faith in us.

Mike: I just don't know what's gonna happen.

Katie: Honey, nobody knows what's gonna happen. It's life. I could step off the curb tomorrow and get hit by a bus. Tornadoes, hurricanes, wipe out entire lives.

Mike: You're talking about accidents of fate. This is different. I brought this nightmare to us.

Katie: Yes, to us, not to you. We share everything or nothing, okay? We need to make a strategy. Let's just go home and start planning.

Margo: No, no, no, no, no, you guys are not ditching this.

Katie: I'm sorry, Margo, something just came up.

Margo: No, it's not more important than your nephew's big night.

Katie: Oh, please don't use the family card.

Margo: I have to. We have to -- we all have to support Casey in this, come on. Guys, he worked so hard.

Mike: I guess if I'm gonna be his uncle, I better show up for him.

Margo: Yeah, and you can buy me drinks.

Katie: Oh, right. How can we refuse?

Margo: You canít. So, follow me.

Lisa: Hi, I didn't think you were gonna make it.

Margo: Oh, I switched shifts with somebody. So, where's my kid?

Lisa: Well, he's working his fanny off. He's got more energy than everybody together in this club.

Margo: My Casey?

Lisa: Yeah, your Casey, yes, you should be really proud of him. He's got the whole success of this entire place resting squarely on his shoulders.

Will: You can't force her to sing if she doesn't want to sing.

Casey: Well, it's not your call.

Will: It's not yours.

Maddie: Guys, can we not do this?

Casey: All right, look, what I mean is -- it's their call? Ladies, psst.

Gwen: Oh, no way! No way! Shauna, Rachel, Skye-Blue! What are you guys doing here? I thought you were booked -- like, Seattle or something?

Skye Blue: Oh, there's too much rain in Seattle.

Gwen: Uh-huh. Oh, you guys, you have to meet Will. Will this is my Krew, my band.

Will: Hi.

Gwen: Shauna, Rachel, Skye, my husband, Will.

Rachel: Husband? Look who's all grown up.

Gwen: Well, you know. This is Maddie and --

Maddie: Hi.

Gwen: Obviously know Casey. How did you pull this off?

Shauna: Casey's a pretty convincing guy.

Casey: So it's on, right? Band's back together? Good to go?

Shauna: Well, we didn't come all this way just to talk.

Maddie: Don't you need to practice?

Rachel: It never stopped us before.

Gwen: I still can't believe that you pulled this off.

Skye Blue: Ever try saying no to this guy, Gwen? Whoa, what did I say?

Luke: So, when did the doctor tell you that you can get out of here?

Holden: About an hour ago. We're just waiting for Dr. Schiller to sign the release forms.

Lily: Did you page her?

Holden: A few minutes ago, yes.

Lily: Okay, good.

Jade: Well, I can take the girls to the cafeteria for some ice cream, maybe? If that's okay?

Holden: Yeah, sure, that's fine.

Lily: Ice cream?

Holden: Yeah -- ice cream. Only if it's okay with your mom.

Lily: Sure, you can have ice cream.

Faith: Yay!

Jade: Come on, troops. Let's go. Ready? See you guys. Do you guys want anything?

Holden: Sure you don't want anything? It may take Dr. Schiller a while.

Lily: I want Jade to stop using my children to get to me. It didn't work with Luke, and it's not gonna work with the girls.

Nick: So, I guess you don't need me anymore?

Carly: I appreciate the ride. Let's leave it at that. Oh, I think I have some of Jack's beer in the fridge. You want one?

Nick: This is getting way too civilized.

Carly: Light or regular?

Nick: Stop it, Carly.

Carly: Excuse me?

Nick: You don't care what kind of beer I want.

Carly: Okay -- okay Nick. Tell me, what do I care about?

Nick: I think you don't want to be alone in this house right now. And even my company will do.

Hal: Jennifer? Jen!

Jennifer: Dad, here!

Hal: Where's Emily?

Jennifer: Down there. She went over the bluff.

Hal: How? What happened? Are you alone?

Jennifer: No, Paul's down there with her. And Dusty and Meg too.

Hal: What did Paul do to her?

Jennifer: Nothing. Dad, Emily tried to kill herself.

Hal: Are you saying that Emily didn't fall, that she jumped?

Jennifer: Yes. Dusty thought that Paul might've been helping Emily escape so we followed him. And we got here and he was -- he was trying to bring her in -- trying to get her some help. He did everything he could to get her away from the edge. Dad, I already talked to a dispatcher when I left the message for you.

Hal: This is Munson. I'm in Cokerís Woods, on the bluff, past the second access road. Is the chopper on its way? Tell 'em to hurry! I'm going down there. In the meantime, I want you to call Susan. Here's her number.

Jennifer: What -- what am I supposed to say to her? You know how deep that gorge is. What if Emily's already --?

Hal: Emily is not dead! Tell Susan to meet us at Memorial. Don't give her any details. Are you okay?

Jennifer: I'm fine, Dad. Go.

Meg: Wait, I think I feel something.

Dusty: Does she have a pulse?

Meg: Not much of one.

Paul: She's not breathing.

Dusty: What -- tell me what to do?

Paul: Stay away from her!

Meg: Look, I need to find out if her airway's constricted, okay? I don't want to move her head too much because I don't know if something's broken.

Dusty: Then leave it for the medics.

Meg: She could die if we don't help her right now.

Dusty: Well, that's what your boyfriend wants, isn't it. So she can't --

Paul: Will you get the hell out of here!

Meg: Okay, I think her airway's clear. Dusty, come here, come here. Grab her wrist. Put your two fingers there. Okay, do feel that?

Dusty: Yes.

Meg: Okay. Paul -- Paul! Look, I need you to breathe air into her lungs while I support her head. All right? Go.

Dusty: Do exactly what she says, Ryan. If she dies, you're next.

Margo: I come in, there's tension. Now, not so much.

Mike: Is she one of those meddling sisters-in-law?

Margo: Yeah.

Katie: We were making plans.

Margo: You were nigh onto lewd and lascivious there.

Katie: Where is Tom anyway? Why's he missing Casey's big night?

Margo: Tom's -- he's taking care of Danny. Things are a little rocky with Emily -- so, for tonight it's divide and conquer.

Mike: That's your advice for happy marriage?

Margo: No, no, no, be there for one another and keep the checkbook away from Katie.

Katie: Don't listen to her.

Mike: Whatever you say, Captain. You're in charge of strategy.

Margo: Strategy? What about strategy?

Katie: We're planning our wedding.

Margo: Yeah, I know. I've got it in the date book.

Katie: No, I mean we're really planning our wedding. We just moved it up to this month.

Mike: Maybe even this week. As fast as we can.

Lisa: Hello, may I have your attention please. So many of you have asked me where did I get the idea for this club. Well, it's very simple. I just wanted people to feel welcome when they come here and well if you love rock and jazz and blues, soul music. And if you're young, if you're not so young, if you're a local people or if you're out of town. My grandson says, well there's nothing more fun than just crashing a party. And that's what I want you to do. That's what this club is all about. I want you to feel like you can come right in that door, and crash our party every night. Now, there's something very special. This is our opening night, the grand opening, and we have a wonderful, wonderful young singer who is going to crash onto the music scene. And so I have asked her if she would be happy to sing for us and she said yes, she would. So put your hands together and give a nice, warm welcome to Gwen Munson and her band, the Krew.

Gwen: Thanks, Mrs. Grimaldi. Ok, wow. Yeah, three, four --

Lily: Why can't Luke see what that girl really is?

Holden: Luke sees a girl that he's crazy about, helping out his dad and his family is having a hard time. And she's with a girl, she's helping them as well, while their mom is in the hospital.

Lily: It's my fault. I let her stay. Why couldn't you get somebody else to take them today? Your mother. My mother. Your sister.

Holden: She was there. And the girls like her.

Lily: So now, again, she gets free rein of our home.

Holden: Ok, so what are we supposed to do? Pull a Lucinda? You wanna forbid Jade and Luke from seeing each other?

Lily: Yeah, I'm tempted. Believe me.

Holden: Well, he made it very clear that if she leaves, he leaves?

Lily: If he hadn't gotten sick, I'd call his bluff. I swear.

Holden: Well, he did get sick. And I hate to inform you of this but the girls are starting to get attached to Jade.

Lily: Oh, yes I noticed. I saw the lovely pictures of all of them together. So, we're painted into a corner. If we don't let Jade stay, then Luke gets sick again. If we do let her stay, we have to hand over our lives to a con-artist. I don't think I can do that. I don't think you can either.

Nick: Thanks.

Carly: So, you are right. I don't do alone very well.

Nick: Yeah, but Jack has worked plenty of nights before, Carly. This can't be your first time holding down the fort.

Carly: The difference then was, I knew he was coming home.

Nick: Plus you didn't have a skeleton in your basement. Mike and Katie had told me.

Carly: You see the thing is, it's not even here anymore and it's still really creeping me out. I hate it, I can't stand not feeling safe under my own roof.

Nick: Want me to take a look around?

Carly: Look for what?

Nick: I don't know. Things that go bump in the night? Come on, I'll start in the basement.

Carly: Two favors in one night? We might forget we hate each other.

Nick: I'll risk it, if you will.

Paul: Nothing? Nothing?

Meg: Keep trying.

Dusty: Her pulse is fading.

Hal: Let me take over, Dusty. Come on, go, Paul, again. Come on, baby, you can do it. Breathe. Breathe. How long have you been trying?

Meg: Long enough. It's not looking good, Hal.

Hal: Well, we're not giving up now. There's a medevac copter on the way.

Paul: That was a breath and she did it on her own.

Hal: Thank God.

Meg: We have a decent pulse. What about you, Hal?

Hal: It's getting stronger, stronger. Check her eyes.

Meg: I can't I have no light.

Hal: Here.

Meg: Thanks. They're unequal.

Dusty: What's that mean?

Meg: Possible head injury.

Hal: Hang in there, baby. Help is on the way. Any minute now. I'm gonna update the EMT's on her condition.

Paul: You are unbelievable.

Meg: You brought her back.

Paul: I think we all did. Dusty why don't you go up and check on Jennifer. I'm sure she needs you right now.

Dusty: I'll keep an eye on things down here.

Paul: Yeah, Halís probably got that covered. Emily, listen, Halís talking to the EMTs right now. And they're going to get you out of here and everything's going to be all right. Ok, I promise you. You are going to be all right now.

Hal: Great. Ok, they're going to drop a litter with a board and a collar in that small clearing behind those pines. Meg, you and I will put her on the board and we'll carry her back to the tether line -- what happening? Why is she seizing?

Meg: I don't know. We've lost her pulse.

Paul: Emily!

Meg: She's going into cardiac arrest. We're losing her!

Paul: Emily!

Announcer: Coming up on "As the World Turns"--

Luke: Come on, go to hell.

Carly: I know you're probably thinking that I'm getting exactly what I deserve.

Paul: Come on, Emily! You are no quitter, you come back to me right now!

Will: You were awesome!

Gwen: Really?

Will: Listen.

Gwen: Hey you guys are amazing! Thank you so much. Every note was dead on, thank you.

Casey: You were great, Gwen. How were the levels?

Gwen: Perfect.

Margo: My kid is perfect?

Casey: You better get used to it.

Margo: You've worked so hard, I'm so proud of you.

Casey: Thanks for noticing.

Margo: I notice everything baby.

Lisa: Gwen, honey, you were wonderful! That was just wonderful. I've got some people back her that want to see her. I'll bring her right back.

Maddie: Gwen's voice is amazing.

Will: Everybody was like really connecting with her?

Maddie: I saw her connecting with you.

Will: Oh you're just trying to get me to pick up the check? Come on, I'll buy you a drink.

Maddie: All right.

Holden: Where are the girls?

Luke: They're down in the cafeteria, covered in ice cream. I told them to meet us up here when they were done.

Lily: Are you feeling okay?

Luke: Yeah.

Lily: No symptoms?

Luke: No I'm fine.

Nurse: Dr. Schiller signed release forms. You're free to go, Mrs. Snyder.

Lily: Oh -- thank you so much. I can't wait to sleep in my own bed. Thank you.

Holden: We'll take home the girls in case you and Jade have plans or want to go out to do something.

Luke: Actually, we're thinking about going to Crash.

Lily: Crash? What's that?

Holden: That's Lisa's new club.

Lily: I've been out of the loop.

Luke: If it's okay, I'd still like to go.

Holden: Okay sure, go have fun.

Jade: So are we on? I hear they're having live music.

Luke: Are you sure you guys are okay with this?

Holden: Yeah yeah, you guys go have fun. Jade, I can't thank you enough for all the help you've given us around the house, you've both been a huge help. Jade, I really appreciate everything you've done around the house.

Jade: No problem. The girls gave me a hand. They've really been great.

Holden: Yeah well they can wear you out.

Jade: Not me. Really, I mean it, it's been great to be with them.

Lily: We really should go.

Holden: Yeah we should go. Who wants to ride shotgun?

Natalie/Faith: Me!

Lily: Okay you can sit here. Sit right upfront. Thank you so much.

Jade: No problem. Bye sweetie.

Holden: Ready. The Snyder express is off. Bye guys.

Jade: Ready?

Luke: Yeah.

Meg: Two breaths first, then compressions. I'll hold her still, go. One, two. Compressions, now. One, two, three.

Hal: Not so hard.

Meg: Its okay, it's fine, five, six. Okay, okay.

Hal: We don't want to break her sternum.

Meg: Keep going. Hold on now. Hold on for a second. Still nothing. Dusty?

Dusty: No.

Meg: Again.

Hal: I know the drill.

Dusty: Where's that chopper?

Meg: Compressions, go.

Hal: Dusty, take over for me. I need that copter here now! She's coded!

Meg: It's no use.

Paul: Again! Again! Again! We do it again.

Meg: It's no use.

Paul: I said again.

Meg: She's gone.

Paul: Move!

Meg: Paul, it's no use.

Paul: She's not gone. One, two, three --

Hal: Paul.

Paul: Four, five, get off me, six, seven, come on, Emily. You're not a quitter, come back to me right now! Come on help me.

Meg: I canít. It's over.

Paul: No. Listen to me, you listen to me. Okay -- if you have to come back from hell, you crawl back and you make me pay for every single rotten thing I've ever done to you!

Hal: No leave her alone, dammit!

Dusty: He's not worth it.

Meg: Hal, we've got a pulse, Paul, you did it! You brought her back.

Casey: Hey break time's over.

Will: Don't you have music to go spin?

Casey: Why don't you quit hogging the talent, Munson.

Will: You mean my wife?

Casey: She's not your wife, she's a legend.

Gwen: Oh come on.

Maddie: So, everybody's talking about your set.

Gwen: Good or bad?

Maddie: All good.

Casey: Can I get an encore?

Gwen: You're pressing your luck there. Where's the band?

Casey: Up there with their fans.

Gwen: They're great huh?

Casey: They really delivered tonight.

Maddie: Hey, do you wanna dance?

Casey: I canít. Got to get back to the booth baby.

Gwen: Yeah actually me too. But don't go too far. I won't be long.

Casey: Check on me at the next break.

Gwen: Okay come on, Romeo, or this crowd is going to have to dance to dead air.

Casey: Don't forget where we left off.

Jade: We must've missed it. There's nobody on stage. We should have dropped your sisters off at the hospital and left.

Luke: Hey don't look at me. The whole Mary Poppins thing -- your idea.

Jade: Excuse me for being nice to your sisters.

Luke: Hey just don't think that it's scoring points with my mom.

Jade: Can we please not talk about your mom tonight? We're here because we're supposed to be having some fun.

Maddie: Is she a friend of yours?

Will: No.

Maddie: She looks like she knows you.

Will: We met at the library. She barely said hello before she started talking trash about me.

Maddie: She's got a lot of nerve talking trash about you.

Will: What do you mean?

Maddie: She works at the library and since I practically live there, I've heard her say some things.

Will: Yeah, like what?

Maddie: Well, she's living with Luke Snyder because she's pretending to be Rose d'angelo's daughter. She totally lied her way into the place.

Jade: Would it kill you to act like you're enjoying yourself?

Luke: I'm dancing with you come on, aren't I?

Jade: You're moving your feet. Come on that's not the impression we want to make. We're supposed to be a couple, a hot couple.

Luke: It's kind of hard to be a hot couple when I think about how we put my mom in the hospital.

Jade: That's crazy.

Luke: I'm serious Jade, I overheard my parents talking about us tonight. We're really causing a lot of tension.

Jade: Itís gonna take some time but your mom is going to get over it. But right now, we've got to keep up the pressure. Come on, if we're going to dance, let's just make the most of it.

Luke: I just think that maybe I'm not in the mood for a party tonight can we just go.

Jade: Okay, just relax, close your eyes and pretend I'm Kevin.

Luke: Oh Jade, come on, go to hell.

Nick: Well, you can cancel the Ghostbusters, it all checked out.

Carly: For now. But what's that clichť about people returning to the scene of the crime?

Nick: No, I think the person that buried that body is not coming back for it, Carly.

Carly: Okay. Well then here's to peace and quiet.

Nick: Isn't there also that clichť about having too much of a good thing?

Dr. Linn: Bp?

EMT #1: Eighty over sixty.

Dr. Linn: Respirations?

EMT #2: Shallow. No sign of consciousness.

EMT #1: Pulse sixty.

Susan: Dear God, what happened?

Dr. Linn: Susan, I need you to step back.

Susan: That's my daughter.

Dr. Linn: And I'm going to do my best to get her stabilized. Order a full ct, blood gasses, I need an ortho and cardiac consult. Put the OR on standby.

Meg: Dr. Linn, she responded to CPR on site.

Dr. Linn: Could you detect anything broken?

Meg: No. But, we kept her immobilized as much as possible.

Dr. Linn: Good. Let's move her to four.

Susan: You promised me that nothing would happen to her.

Hal: The fall happened before I got there, Susan.

Susan: It was you. It was your fault!

Paul: I was trying to convince her not to run.

Susan: Where was she? How did she fall?

Hal: She went out to the bluff at Cokerís Woods.

Susan: Oh, no.

Meg: Paul found her there.

Paul: I was trying to get through to her. And I think she was starting to hear me. I put my hand out for her and she came so close to taking it.

Susan: I asked you, how she fell.

Paul: She didn't fall, Susan. She jumped.

Susan: Dear God, I told you -- I told you she was desperate!

Hal: I'm sorry, Susan.

Susan: When she started talking about never seeing her son again! That's when I knew! What did you say to her tonight?

Paul: Me? I was -- I was trying to calm her --

Susan: You're the reason she was up there in the first place! You're the reason that she felt like her life was not worth living. I hope you got a good look at my daughter tonight, at how in pain she is and full of despair. How much this man has brought it into her life because someday he's gonna do it to you!

Dusty: I need to have a chat with your brother.

Jennifer: No, you know what, we need to get you a doctor about you leg, your foot.

Dusty: It's fine.

Jennifer: No, it's not fine. Your ankle is so swollen you can barely walk and you're bleeding again. Ok, come sit here, please.

Dusty: Ok, all right.

Jennifer: Just sit down, let me get a doctor. You stay put.

Susan: How is she?

Dr. Linn: Miraculously, no broken bones, but we're not ruling out internal injuries.

Hal: How's her heart?

Dr. Linn: I've ordered some tests. A cardiologist will consult on the results. Susan, I noticed she's wearing a wedding ring. I'll need to have her husband sign any consent forms. Is he here?

Paul: Yes, I'm Emily's husband.

Will: Looks like your charm is lost on Luke too.

Jade: I'm sorry about what I said in the library.

Will: You're not sorry.

Jade: Excuse me?

Will: You're not sorry. It's all part of the game you're playing.

Jade: What are you talking about?

Will: I'm talking about somebody who would lie about being a dead woman's daughter. So, from now on, keep your distance.

Carly: It's good.

Nick: Yeah, feeling any better?

Carly: Ask me at three in the morning when a shutter comes loose from the house and I wake up the entire neighborhood with blood-curdling screams.

Nick: You know, whatever happened down there, Carly, I don't think it's going to turn into a problem for you.

Carly: Well, thanks for the reassurance, Nick. Especially when I know that you'd rather gloat. Come on. I know you're probably thinking that I'm getting exactly what I deserve. I nearly cost you your job, your reputation, not to mention your life.

Nick: I don't enjoy watching anybody get their heart broken not even you, Carly.

Susan: I am her mother. She would want me in charge of her case.

Dr. Linn: Susan, you know the protocol. The husband is the next of kin. It's his right to sign off on any treatment.

Paul: If Susan would rather have the responsibilities then I'm willing to forego my rights.

Dr. Linn: Very well. Would you like to see her?

Susan: Yes. Will you come with me?

Dr. Linn: She's still unconscious, but the CT scan will tell us if there's internal bleeding.

Jennifer: Hey I thought I told you to sit down. Come here. An attending should be right out. Sit down. Let me take a look at it. Honey, it looks awful.

Dusty: Doesn't matter. I had to go down there.

Jennifer: So Paul really saved Emily's life?

Dusty: Yeah. The question is why.

Jennifer: Honey, please.

Dusty: You think he's a hero?

Jennifer: He saved her life.

Dusty: Maybe because she's worth more to him alive. They can get their stories straight this way. Cover each others back.

Jennifer: Ok, I still don't believe Paul had anything to do with your kidnapping.

Dusty: I believe what Susan said. Paul sent Emily over that cliff tonight.

Dr. Linn: Do you have any idea how long she went without oxygen?

Hal: It seemed endless but it probably wasn't that long. Was at least a few minutes.

Susan: Are you afraid of brain damage?

Dr. Linn: It's always possible in cases like this. But, let's wait and see what the CT scan shows. I'll go get someone to take her to radiology.

Susan: Thank you. She's so broken. So broken, Hal.

Hal: Yeah, but she still knows how to put up a good fight. Couple of minutes she's gonna open those eyes, give you attitude and throw me out of the room.

Susan: I'd give anything for a good fight.

Hal: Me too. It's not your time, Em. Do you hear me? It's not your time.

Paul: Emily, forgive me.

Announcer: On the next "As the World Turns"

Paul: You're a gift -- you're a precious gift.

Hal: Emily --

Emily: Paul --

Barbara: You do know that Gwen and Casey are going off together, right?

Gwen: I get a free drink for working here and I can't drink it, so --

Jack: You know I don't want you're drink --
