Galaxy patron: I want your station.

Katie: I'm sorry, what?

Galaxy patron: Just tell me which pole you work, and I'm there.

Carly: Will you get any meal at all?

Jack: I grabbed a sandwich on the way in. If they ask me to go out on patrol, then I get a meal break

Carly: Well, that's one good thing about being back in uniform. It was a joke, Jack.

Jack: Right.

Carly: So, will you have any time at the station to work on the gambling ring case?

Jack: Some.

Carly: Oh, good, Jack. That's good. You're gonna break it, honey. I know you will.

Jack: Nick's on site, Carly. Chances are --

Carly: Chances are he'll fall on his face. Besides you're smarter, and you have more contacts. You know how to connect the dots, Jack. You know how to take anonymous tips and evidence you already have and put it together. And you never know when that piece that makes everything fit will show up. You see the whole case, Jack. That's always been your strength.

Jack: You don't have to be my cheerleader all the time, you know?

Carly: Well, what if I want to? What if being your cheerleader is exactly what I want right now?

Jack: Yeah? Well, then maybe you can get a little outfit, like valentine's day?

Carly: Only for you, baby.

Jack: I'll see you in the morning.

Carly: Love you.

Jack: Me, too.

Carly: Hey, you. What are you doing out of bed?

Parker: I couldn't sleep. You're leaving again?

Carly: Just for a little while. Christie's coming. She'll be here.

Parker: She's here every night now.

Carly: What?

Parker: After we're in bed, she comes, and you leave.

Carly: Well, not every night. Parker,  its okay, honey. Now go on back to bed.

Parker: Stay home tonight. Please, Mom?

Madame Lacoste: I have rights. You can't just drag me in here without telling me why.

Cop: You're wanted for questioning.

Madame Lacoste: About what? I haven't seen a crime, and I have no information that would be of any use to the police. Now, I want to call my lawyer.

Jennifer: You don't need a lawyer -- not yet.

Madame Lacoste: How did you get me here?

Jennifer: You're the psychic. Why don't you tell me?

Madame Lacoste: I've done nothing illegal.

Jennifer: Well, that's for my dad to figure out.

Madame Lacoste: Who?

Jennifer: Lieutenant Munson, chief of detectives. That's who you'll be talking to next if you don't tell me everything I want to know.

Madame Lacoste: About what?

Jennifer: About this scam you've been pulling on me, trying to convince me that my brother is alive.

Madame Lacoste: There's no scam. Everything I told you is true.

Jennifer: Please. All your premonitions and visions from the psychic world? Yeah, that's -- that's the truth?

Madame Lacoste: No. My spirit guides gave me nothing about your brother.

Jennifer: All right.

Madame Lacoste: But there's a reason for that, if you're ready to hear it.

Jennifer: No, no, let's stick with the real world, if you don't mind -- the here and now. Starting with the woman who hired you to gaslight me.

Madame Lacoste: Who?

Jennifer: Meg Snyder.

Holden: Hey. I'm so glad you called. Come on in.

Meg: I had to make sure I caught you.

Holden: I feel like I haven't seen you in forever.

Meg: Yeah, I've been out of town. I haven't been back long. Why are you grinning?

Holden: I have news -- actually, Lily and I have news.

Meg: Well, you're already married. What else could it be?

Holden: We're pregnant.

Meg: Oh, that is so great.

Holden: Yeah, it's great.

Meg: Wow! [Meg stutters] A -- a baby! And Lily's fine? Everything's okay?

Holden: Yeah, yeah, she's great.

Meg: Wow, you two. You really have it all.

Holden: Well, Aunt Meg can come over any time. You can help out. You can change a diaper -- or not. What? What is it?

Meg: I'm okay.

Holden: You don't look okay.

Meg: Because I won't be here, Holden, for any of it.

Holden: Why?

Meg: I'm leaving Oakdale tonight.

Holden: Leaving? Why?

Meg: I have to.

Holden: Where are you going, and why do you have to leave town?

[Knock at door]

Paul: Yeah?

Manager: Mr. Pollock, we just got your note. You're leavin'?

[Fake accent]

Paul: Yeah, yeah, tonight.

Manager: I hope it's not about the service. We've done our best to keep quiet, keep people out of your hair.

Paul: I -- I left a very handsome gratuity here.

Manager: You mean the tip?

Paul: Yeah.

Manager: Yeah, that was real good looking. Do you need anything else before you leave?

Paul: Just my privacy.

Manager: Good. Come see us again, Mr. Pollock.

Paul: Never. Everything here is finished.

Dusty: You know where to find Paul? You know where he is right now?

Emily: That's what I said.

Dusty: So tell me. Emily?

Emily: Yeah, I'm here.

Dusty: Don't give him a chance to get away. Tell me where Paul is. Tell me right now.

Katie: Did you just ask me what pole I worked?

Galaxy patron: Yeah. Wait, it's you!

Katie: What?

Galaxy patron: The chick with the exercise show. I know you!

Katie: I promise that we haven't met.

Galaxy patron: I watch your show every morning, if I'm still up. How do you do all that twisty, bendy stuff at 6:00 A.M.?

Katie: It's taped. Were you going inside?

Galaxy patron: Yeah. So when do you join the show?

Katie: I'm sorry?

Galaxy patron: You know, it's a good move. They need a better class of girl in here.

Katie: For what?

Galaxy patron: This is a strip club, honey.

Katie: Oh, well, don't let me keep you. Oh, Nick -- this is where you're meeting Carly, at a strip club? Oh, yuck!

Carly: I can't stay home. I wish I could, but I canít.

Parker: Why?

Carly: Well, I made a mistake that I have to fix. Kind of like when you get a make-up test in school. It's like that.

Parker: You flunked something?

[Carly laughs]

Carly: I messed something up, and I want to make it right. So that's what I'm working on.

Parker: For how long?

Carly: Not too much longer, I promise. Now you go back to bed, all right? [Doorbell rings] That's Christie right now.

Parker: You'll come home?

Carly: Yes, I'll come home. Parker, I promise you, I will always come home. Banana pancakes for breakfast. Now go. Go up to bed. This has to end tonight. Please, God, let me find something tonight.

Kevin: Dude!

Luke: Hey.

Kevin: I know, I know, I won't stay long. You don't need the parental wrath.

Luke: Yeah, yeah. But how's it going?

Kevin: Same ugly grind. But I bring escape.

Luke: How?

Kevin: Indie band from Chicago. Concert at the school.

Luke: I'm still grounded. Hi.

Jade: Hey.

Kevin: Hello. Luke?

Luke: Oh, this is my cousin, Jade.

Kevin: Hi, I'm Lukeís friend, Kevin.

Jade: Hey.

Kevin: Why haven't we met before?

Jade: Oh, I just came in from out of town. Luke's been showing me around.

Kevin: Oh. Luke, that's it! That's it. That's how you can go to the concert. Just tell your parents that you're going with Jade so she can, you know, meet people, make friends, whatever.

Meg: I'm going to Waco.

Holden: Why?

Meg: I need to start over.

Holden: In that old place?

Meg: So I'm not as adventurous as I used to be.

Holden: Really?

Meg: Don't ask, please.

Holden: Don't ask what?

Meg: There are things you're gonna hear, things I've done.

Holden: Are they true?

Meg: Not exactly, but close enough. Look, I can't make excuses, okay? I wouldnít. They were my choices, my life.

Holden: Meg, where are you really going? Do you even know?

Meg: I don't plan to settle just yet.

Holden: But you're going because you've done something that you're not proud of?

Meg: It's not that simple.

Holden: Oh, I think it is. I think it is that simple, and I think it has everything to do with my old pal, Dusty Donovan.

Emily: You do not give me orders.

Dusty: Here we go.

Emily: No man tells me what to do, do you got that?

Dusty: This is your show. You grabbed me.

Emily: Yeah, no kidding!

Dusty: So? All right, I'm out of here.

Emily: No, no, no! Wait, wait, wait. Don't you want to know? Don't --

Dusty: Well, if you won't tell me, I gotta wonder if anything you've said is true.

Emily: It's all true! For God's sake, it's true. I will tell you it. Oh!

Dusty: You have a problem, right?

Emily: Yeah.

Dusty: If you don't want the cops to know that you found Paul, they're not gonna hear it from me.

Emily: Yeah, I just -- I have to know for sure.

Dusty: His whereabouts? They're not gonna hear that from me either. And nobody's gonna listen to Paul. They're gonna be too busy locking him up.

Emily: Yeah, right. Yeah, that's what you'd think, you know? I mean, you would love to see him locked away for the rest of his miserable life, but that's not gonna happen.

Dusty: Why not? He was set to go on trial before he disappeared.

Emily: Yeah, right, for breaking and entering -- breaking into the records room at the hospital. But his real crime was what he did to Jennifer. It nearly killed her. But wait, what's -- it's barely a felony. He's gonna -- six months, tops. And Jennifer, she's probably gonna testify on his behalf, right? Because she's already forgiven him for everything. You know I'm right. And he's gonna stroll back into town, starting all over with his new little girlfriend, Meg. You two can double date.

Dusty: Doesn't hurt me any.

Emily: But they could hurt Jennifer.

Dusty: They could try.

Emily: You'd need to be on guard every day, because Paul will do everything he can to get right in the middle of Jennifer's life.

Dusty: Well, that can't happen.

Emily: No, it canít.

Dusty: What are you saying, Emily?

Emily: You need to make sure Paul stays out of Jennifer's life permanently.

Madame Lacoste: Who is Meg Snyder?

Jennifer: Dusty saw her paying you, so don't even try.

Madame Lacoste: Oh, of course. That was Meg.

Jennifer: Yes, that was Meg. Did she use a different name or something?

Madame Lacoste: Well, she didn't give me her name.

Jennifer: But you can still identify her in court?

Madame Lacoste: Court?

Jennifer: Yes, court. That woman is going to jail for fraud.

Madame Lacoste: She hurt you before this.

Jennifer: Yes, she did hurt me. But worse, she hurt Dusty, because he feels completely responsible for what Meg did to me. And that -- that's not fair. He doesn't deserve that. So I want this woman gone before she can hurt him again.

Madame Lacoste: Well, she cares about him. I can see that much.

Jennifer: What did Meg tell you to do?

Madame Lacoste: She didnít.

Jennifer: Okay, well what, did you get written instructions? Actually, that would even be better. We would then have physical evidence.

Madame Lacoste: No, there's nothing in writing.

Jennifer: Well, then she must've called you.

Madame Lacoste: Yes, she called me.

Jennifer: How do you know each other?

Madame Lacoste: Well, we worked together.

Jennifer: Memorial?

Madame Lacoste: Yes, we worked together on the memorial.

Jennifer: On what memorial? I'm talking about the hospital.

Madame Lacoste: Oh. Look, I -- I really want to help you. I do.

Jennifer: Okay, well, then start helping!

Madame Lacoste: I'm trying, but you keep bringing up this Meg woman.

Jennifer: Yes! I need the details.

Madame Lacoste: But I don't know anything.

Jennifer: Why not?

Madame Lacoste: Because I don't know her. I'd never seen her before that day your boyfriend found us.

Jennifer: Then why was she paying you?

Madame Lacoste: She was sent by the person who hired me.

Jennifer: Okay, wait. Meg was working with someone else? Who is it? I need a name!

Madame Lacoste: She was sent by someone who loves you very much.

Jennifer: What?

Madame Lacoste: Who wanted this to happen in just the right way, and this isn't it.

Jennifer: Wanted what to happen?!

Madame Lacoste: You are so angry.

Jennifer: If you think this is bad, then you just keep this up! Listen, lady, if you don't want to go to jail, then you better tell me right now who hired you. Who sent you to me?

Madame Lacoste: Your brother. It was Paul.

Jennifer: If you don't stop all this beyond the grave garbage, I swear --

Madame Lacoste: Paul is alive, Jennifer I saw him with my own eyes. Paul is alive.

[Katie remembering]

Carly: Did Jack tell you Nick's been trying to steal this gambling ring case right out from under him?

Katie: There's a gambling ring in Oakdale?

Jack: We're investigating a club downtown. Nick's doing some undercover work there.

Katie: Nick must be working. Or he pretends he's working and meets Carly here.

Anatoly: No, no, it's set. Yes, tomorrow, the usual route. Customs and duties are all paid, we're good? No, I have no worries about it. I'm certain there'll be no problems. Because no way you want to come to me and tell me you had a problem with a simple delivery, am I right? He was dealt with. Yes, I read the papers -- widow, three kids. It's a terrible thing. It's a dangerous world, Bobby. It makes you want to think twice, am I right? So tomorrow, 4:30? And don't be late.

Nick: Did you get a name?

Carly: Huh?

Nick: Did you get any of Anatolyís phone call?

Carly: Uh, no, I really wasn't listening.

Nick: Well, stay away from him the next 24 hours.

Carly: Why?

Nick: Well, he's getting another shipment. If I get any more info on it, I'm gonna make my move. So just stay back.

Carly: Okay. Sure thing. As soon as I get that contact's phone number to Jack.

Luke: But that's not fair to Jade.

Kevin: Well, I mean, I want her to come to the concert. Don't you? I mean, it'll be her cultural introduction to Oakdale.

Jade: You should come with a warning label.

Kevin: I know, I know. So here's the situation, okay? Luke is grounded, and I'm kind of off-limits because we got caught with some vodka. So I mean, what do you say about, you know, just helping us out a little bit?

Jade: Well, sure. I mean, Luke, do you want to go to the concert?

Luke: Oh, hell, yeah.

Jade: Well, then let's just ask your folks.

Kevin: Well, I mean, I think it's -- I think it's better if you ask.

Jade: Whatever.

Kevin: Oh, great. Here are the two tickets, all right? I'll get another one at the door. Meet me at the south entrance? All right.

Luke: Sure.

Holden: Did Dusty do something to drive you away?

Meg: He's out of the picture, Holden, completely.

Holden: So he has nothing to do with you wanting to leave now?

Meg: I want to go. Look, I tried. I know what I'm supposed to want, and I tried. It's just not me.

Holden: Well, maybe you tried with the wrong guy. I mean, Dusty is hardly --

Meg: Dusty's everything! And he can't stand the sight of me, so I'll go somewhere where I don't have to look at his face. Hell, maybe -- maybe I'll find the things that make me happy there someplace else.

Holden: And you're sure that this is the way to go?

Meg: I am.

Holden: So you're just gonna walk out that door -- how am I supposed to get in touch with you?

Meg: I'll have my cell phone. I'll be in touch, eventually.

Holden: Do you need any money?

Meg: I'm fine.

Holden: How? Meg, come on. Whatever it is -- whatever it is that we're gonna hear, I'm not gonna turn my back on you, and neither is mama.

Meg: Speak for yourself.

Holden: She wonít. We love you. We care about you. Please, don't run.

Jennifer: Why would you even try this? Do you really think that I'm that weak?

Madame Lacoste: No, Jennifer. I know what a strong person you are.

Jennifer: Then why would you even try to feed me some line about Paul.

Madame Lacoste: Because it's true. Look, Jennifer, I know I'm in trouble here. What do I have to gain by lying to you now? Believe me, I wish this could've ended with Meg Snyder.

Jennifer: So you did take money from her?

Madame Lacoste: Paul said he was sending someone with the cash.

Jennifer: You spoke to Paul, on the phone?

Madame Lacoste: And in person. Your brother came to me.

Jennifer: Oh, just strolled up to you in the mall, did he?

Madame Lacoste: I run ads in the city times classifieds. He made an appointment with me.

Jennifer: Oh, you and my dead brother had a meeting?

Madame Lacoste: He said that people thought he was dead, and that's when he got the idea to disappear. But when he saw that you blamed yourself for his death, he couldn't do it.

Jennifer: What do you mean, when he saw me? Where was he?

Madame Lacoste: He didn't tell me that.

Jennifer: Well, what did he want you to do?

Madame Lacoste: He wanted me to lay the groundwork, get you used to the idea that he could still be here.

Jennifer: You're making all of this up.

Madame Lacoste: He didn't want it to be too much of a shock to you when he just showed up. But the truth be told, I think he wanted to know that you really missed him, that you really wanted him back.

Jennifer: Well -- oh, gosh, you really are good at this, aren't you?!

Madame Lacoste: Apparently not, or I wouldn't be sitting here. Look, Jennifer, I'm telling you the truth about your brother. The only thing that I lied about was how I got the information. Your brother Paul is alive.

Jennifer: Sorry. Still don't believe you.

Madame Lacoste: When you were 7, you had a diary that you kept in a puzzle box in the top of your closet.

Jennifer: What?

Madame Lacoste: It was purple vinyl. It had a lock on it, but you hid it anyway. Paul said your mother would try to read it.

Jennifer: And she knew how to pick a lock. But I -- I never told anyone that.

Madame Lacoste: But Paul was there. He said it was the first time you might remember where he tried to protect you.

Jennifer: This part of your scam?

Madame Lacoste: Part of reminding you that Paul loves you.

Jennifer: I -- I don't believe you.

Madame Lacoste: Yes, you do.

Jennifer: And what the hell am I supposed to do about it?

Paul: Oh, come on, Meg, where are you? [Phone rings] Finally. Yeah, hello?

Jennifer: Hello. Paul? Hello? Hello? Is this room seven?

Paul: Yes.

Jennifer: Paul?

Paul: Yeah.

Jennifer: It's me. It's Jen.

Announcer: Coming up on "As the World Turns" --

Jack: I want to check this place out. We'll drive by your place on the way.

Katie: No, no. No, wait, Jack. You can't go in there.

Jennifer: I'm coming over.

Paul: All right, I'll be here.

Emily: He's at the wagon wheel hotel, room seven.

Jennifer: Hello?

Paul: I'm here. Jennifer, are you okay?

Jennifer: What?

Paul: That's really all I care about. I just want to make sure you're all right.

Jennifer: I'm on my way.

Paul: What?

Jennifer: I know where you are. I'm coming over.

Paul: Jen, I canít.

Jennifer: I'll come alone. If you promise to stay put, I won't tell anyone. Not Dusty, not my father, not my mom -- nobody. Paul?

Paul: All right, I'll be here.

Jennifer: Promise me.

Paul: You'd take my word for anything?

Jennifer: Promise.

Paul: I promise I'll be here.

Dusty: I ordered you a double.

Emily: Good.

Dusty: Emily, do you know what you're saying?

Emily: Paul can never come back to Oakdale, however that happens.

Dusty: Well, there's only one way to make sure. Look at me. Do you know what you're asking me?

Emily: I'm not asking. I am giving you a chance -- a chance to take care of Jennifer, to make the life -- to make the kind of life you want, the life you deserve.

Dusty: Your concern for our relationship is very touching.

Emily: Do you want to get him or not?

Dusty: The question is, do you? I've been here all day listening to you. You still haven't told me where to find him.

Emily: I have to be sure.

Dusty: Sure of what? Me, or yourself?

Emily: He's at the Wagon Wheel Motel, room seven.

Meg: Holden, I just don't know how --

Luke: Hey, Aunt Meg.

Meg: Hey. Come here, give me a hug good-bye. Oh!

Holden: Meg --

Luke: Wait, you're -- you're leaving?

Meg: Yeah.

Holden: Maybe not.

Meg: Uh, I'll call soon, okay? Um, I left mama a note. Please tell her I'm sorry I missed her.

Holden: No, you're not.

Meg: Bye.

Holden: Look, you know what? Come on, let's just go into the kitchen. We can talk about this, you can tell me what's going on.

Meg: I have a plane to catch. Excuse me.

Holden: Hey -- if you don't call me this week, I'm coming after you.

Meg: Holden --

Holden: Meg, you matter to me. You matter to all of us. And I'm not gonna let you check out on this family.

Meg: I'm gonna miss you so much. I love you.

Galaxy patron: No, come on, I've seen it on an exercise show, baby. It's very aerobic. It's very good for you.

Waitress: Butch?

Butch: This the one from last night?

Waitress: Yeah, back in all his glory.

Butch: Let's go.

Galaxy patron: Yeah, I'm just trying to help the chick stay fit.

Butch: Yeah, well, you know what? We got our own health plan, pal, and it don't include you putting your hands on the help.

Galaxy patron: What?

Butch: She's a waitress. You want anything else, you know the rules.

Galaxy patron: Hey, it's the butt-buster lady. Ooh, ooh, that's what they call it on TV -- "The butt-buster!"

Butch: Don't worry. You want to come in, I won't let this clown bother you.

Katie: No, thanks.

Galaxy patron: Wait, who are you calling clown? Who pays rent on table six he drops so much money in here?

Butch: It's chump change, pal. Now take a hike. Do me a favor, don't come back.

Katie: Thanks.

Butch: Coming in?

Katie: I'm waiting for a friend.

Butch: All right, well, you get cold, come on in. We keep it nice and warm.

Katie: For all the naked people. This is nuts.

[Phone rings]

Jack: Oakdale P.D.

Galaxy patron: Hello?

Jack: Sir, is there a problem?

Galaxy patron: Yeah, all hell's breaking loose down at the Galaxy Club.

Jack: The Galaxy Club south of Market?

Galaxy patron: Yeah, yeah, come quick!

Jack: Sir, was someone injured? Shots fired?

Galaxy patron: Just get down here!

Jack: Sir? Hello -- damn it. You in a unit tonight?

Cop: Mm-hmm.

Jack: All right, come on. I just got a call from the Galaxy. The guy didn't say shots fired, but he didn't say no, and we've got an undercover in there.

Cop: Kasnoff, right? Working your case?

Jack: Yeah, and if something goes wrong there, he's green enough that he could've gotten himself shot. Let's go.

Nick: Hey, let me buy you a drink.

Anatoly: No, thanks, I have one waiting.

Nick: You see that little brunette at my table?

Anatoly: Very nice.

Nick: She's had her eye on you all night.

Anatoly: I'm sorry for your loss.

Nick: Game tonight?

Anatoly: I suggest you see someone for your compulsion for gambling.

Nick: I'm seeing you.

Anatoly: What the hell are you doing?

Luke: Did something happen with Aunt Meg?

Holden: I don't know. But if she doesn't come home soon, I'm gonna have to track her down.

Jade: I'm sorry we interrupted.

Holden: That's okay, she was leaving anyway. So what are you guys up to?

Luke: Um, not much.

Jade: We wanted to go out. I mean, I did. There's this concert at school -- an indie band from Chicago. And I didn't want to go alone, so I was wondering --

Luke: And I know I'm grounded, but I don't think that Jade should have to sit at home because of me.

Holden: Oh. Well, I can go with you.

Jade: Hmm?

Luke: What?

Holden: Yeah. Yeah, sure. I mean, I'll go with Jade. I like indie bands.

Luke: Um --

Holden: Gotcha. [Laughter] You, my man, you have been great. You've been showing your cousin around, you've been sticking to the rules.

Luke: You noticed.

Holden: And I appreciate it. So this concert, big crowd?

Luke: It's supposed to be a full house.

Holden: Yeah? A lot of your friends gonna be there?

Luke: Um --

Holden: You know what I'm asking. Kevin -- is Kevin gonna be there.

Paul: You played him like a fiddle. Dusty.

Emily: He's easy to figure.

Paul: You're not.

Emily: No.

Paul: I miss you, too.

Emily: You can go rot in hell.

Paul: Come on, do you honestly think that Meg Snyderís anything more to me than just a convenience? You're sorry already, aren't you?

Emily: I'm not responsible for what Dusty does. You get everything you deserve.

Paul: No doubt. Just because you didn't say it out loud doesn't make you clean.

Emily: My hands will never be clean again. Not after what I've already done to you.

Paul: I understood that. I loved you. You know that. No matter what I said to you up there on that cliff, I loved you. But now I'll never have a chance to prove it to you.

Emily: Oh! Oh, my God. Oh, my God. What have I done?

Anatoly: Why are you back here?

Carly: Vodka rocks, splash of water. Still your drink, right?

Anatoly: I didn't order.

Carly: You looked parched.

Anatoly: You keep coming around, Tiffany. I sense that you're drawn to me.

Carly: Who isn't?

Anatoly: You want a list? [Carly laughs] My charm and good looks are widely known. What do you want?

Carly: You're the most important man in the room. First thing you learn on this job is to keep Mr. Anatoly happy. You looked thirsty, I need to keep my job. That's all.

Anatoly: But you wouldn't dance the other night. Yes, I heard. What, are you allergic to money? Hmm?

Carly: I believe in value for dollar. Your boy Butch doesn't pay it.

Anatoly: That's why you think that I might? That's why you're so quick to play fetch with my little splash of water? I would love to see you dance. What would that cost?

Carly: More than you carry in your pocket.

Anatoly: That's not a number.

Carly: $10,000.

Anatoly: Really?

Carly: Uh-huh.

Anatoly: It's too bad you have such low self esteem, honey.

Carly: Girl's got to have her standards.

Anatoly: You think you have a $10,000 dance in you?

Carly: It'll be fun to think about, won't it?

Anatoly: I'm not big on the mystery thing. Let's find out right now.

Butch: There you are.

Anatoly: Me and Tiffany had some business to transact. You got yourself a new dancer for the night.

Butch: Now you're willing?

Carly: Well, for the right price. Just count it for me, Butch. Make sure he's not a dollar short.

Anatoly: I'm never short. So you better come up with the dance of your life.

Jack: Katie! Back away -- go back. Stay back. It's quiet.

Katie: Yeah, for a club.

Jack: You hear any shots fired, any commotion at all?

Katie: No. Jack --

Jack: We got a call about a disturbance.

Katie: It seems fine, for a sleaze parlor.

Jack: Yeah, and what are you doing here?

Katie: I needed to find Nick.

Jack: He's working undercover, Katie.

Katie: No, yeah, I know. I just -- I just got scared at the house.

Jack: You should be scared of this neighborhood. Okay, you see that unit over there? Go sit in there with my partner. I'm gonna check this place out. We'll drive by your place on the way.

Katie: No, no. No, wait, Jack. You can't go in there.

Luke: Kevin won't be at the concert.

Holden: How do you know?

Luke: Well, he's been out of school for the last couple days. I heard he's out sick.

Holden: Oh.

Jade: Do I have time to change? I was wondering, if we look at the tickets, if it says what time this thing starts?

Luke: No, we've only got 20 minutes to get there and park.

Holden: Better get going. Be safe.

Luke: I will.

Holden: And if you're even five minutes late --

Luke: Call.

Holden: Okay. All right, you got your cell, right?

Luke: Yeah.

Jade: So do I.

Holden: All right.

Luke: Bye, Dad. Thanks.

Holden: Have fun. Kevin Davis.

Anatoly: Tiffany doesn't need a costume, because it's all coming off anyway. Let's hear my favorite song on this one. Drum roll, please!

Jack: Katie, what is wrong with you? I'm not gonna blow Nick's cover. Are you kidding me?

Katie: Of course you wouldnít. I'm sorry.

Jack: Yeah, but while I'm here, I might as well check on his progress, make sure he's not screwing up.

[Paul remembering]

Jennifer: Can't you see? Paul, see it in his eyes? See how he looks? He knows -- he knows I'm his mother. Tell me, please! Please tell you know that he's my son! You know that I'm not crazy! Please, Paul! Tell me! Go away. You hurt me. I can't trust you anymore. If my brother knew that my baby was alive, he would move heaven and earth to bring him home to me. Tell me, Paul. Tell me what you did.

Paul: I'm still your brother.

Jennifer: No, you're not.

Paul: This is crazy. She's never gonna come.

[Knock at door]

Announcer: On the next "As the World Turns" --

Carly: Oh, my God! Jack -- what the hell is he doing here?!

Holden: Was Luke hanging out with this kid? His name's Kevin.

Jade: Yeah, he was.

Meg: Jennifer, I don't have time for this right now.

Dusty: Give me one good reason I shouldn't kill you right now.
