Carly: Will? Can I talk to you for a minute?

Will: No.

Carly: I know you're mad. I know you and Gwen are both really mad, and you have every right to be.

Will: Then leave me alone, okay? I don't want to do this right now, Carly. Please, go away.

Carly: I can't do that. I can't just go away, Will. 'Cause I'm drowning here, and I have nobody left to reach out to.

Will: Well, whose fault is that?

Carly: I screwed up. I know. I did awful things to Gwen to make sure that she looked bad in front of the judge. But honestly, I just thought that I was protecting that baby.

Will: And you're gonna pay for it. So what do you want from me?

Carly: Just a little compassion. If not for me, then for my children. I mean, think about what will happen to them if I go to jail.

Will: What do you want me to do? You want me to talk to Gwen, get her to drop the charges, make your life a little easier?

Carly: Not to make my life easier. To keep my children from losing their mother. You're the only person that Gwen listens to. If you talk to her, if you tell her that I will do anything -- absolutely anything to make things up to her, I think that she will listen to you, and then I will have a chance. And that's all I'm asking for. Just a chance.

Will: Carly, just stop it, okay? You're wasting your time. It's not gonna happen.

Iris: Don't go wimping out on me, Gwennie. That baby there needs you to be tough, and I can't stand seeing you mope. Honey, no guy is worth it.

Gwen: So you keep telling me.

Iris: Yeah, well, too many guys have trampled through my life on their way to something else. And I learned a lesson, honey. Don't let them stop you cold, all right? All guys are alike. I swear, honey. They are selfish, cruel and cowards.

Gwen: Will's none of those things.

Iris: No? Well, let's see. He only cared about his feelings and not yours. I'd say that was selfish. He made you cry. That's cruel. Then he flew the coop. That's a coward. Put him out of your mind, because everything you need is right here in this house. That bundle of love in there. And me. Everything else you can live without.

Jennifer: Dusty.

Dusty: Hey. Thanks for coming by.

Jennifer: Oh. You made it sound pretty serious.

Dusty: I think it is.

Jennifer: What's wrong?

Dusty: Well, there's no good way to tell you this.

Jennifer: Is it about Paul? Did something happen to him?

Dusty: No, no, nothing like that. I called you down here because, well, I don't want to see you get more hurt than you are.

Jennifer: Well, I hope that you're not implying that Paul would hurt me, because I find that very hard to believe.

Dusty: Yeah, I see you two have become closer.

Jennifer: Yeah. He's been extremely supportive.

Dusty: I don't think Paul really has your best interests in mind.

Jennifer: What are you talking about? Of course he does. Everything he's done has been to protect me. I mean, some of it a little misguided maybe, but --

Dusty: I don't see how paying off Gwen's legal fees protects you.

Jennifer: What?

Dusty: He offered to pay off Gwen's legal fees, if she took the baby and got out of town.

Jennifer: Who told you Paul did that?

Dusty: It's true. Why would he do something like that? And why would he go behind your back to do it?

Jennifer: You know what, Dusty? You've crossed the line.

Dusty: I'm looking after you. You need to be careful.

Jennifer: Maybe. But not of Paul. It looks like I need to be careful of you.

Meg: Holden?

Holden: Hey, Meggie.

Meg: How's Luke?

Holden: He's sleeping, which is better than what was happening a little while ago. He started hallucinating.

Meg: Sounds like he's having seizures from the thrombosis. You know, it's not uncommon when your kidneys start to fail.

Holden: They're worried that uremic shock might set in. We're up against the time clock here. It's ticking way too fast, and you look like you have more bad news.

Meg: I just heard from Josh and Iva. Their tests results were negative. Neither is a match for Luke.

[Holden sighs]

Holden: We're running out of options here.

Meg: Well, you can't give up hope, okay?

Holden: I haven't given up. Josh and Iva were Luke’s last blood relatives. I can't find Damian. I don't know what to do here. I'm scared.

Meg: Somebody will come through, okay? You'll find a donor. Where's Lily?

Holden: I don't know, she took off. She had to get some air.

Meg: How's she holding up?

Holden: She's a fighter. And I'll tell you, I don't know if I could get through this without her.

Meg: I know she couldn't get through it without you. Well, thank God you guys are back together, and you can face this as a team.

Keith: Lily, I would do anything for you, and I would do anything for Luke.

Lily: I'm here because there are no other possibilities. I'm desperate. If Luke doesn't get a new kidney soon, he's gonna die.

Keith: I understand, and I'll do anything I can, because it's partly my fault that he's sick.

Lily: I'm not here to lay blame.

Keith: Well, I'm just saying, you know, had I checked my plane before I took your mother to Mexico, I would have found him. He wouldn't have gotten sick. And I know that you hate me for that.

Lily: This isn't about us. It's about Luke. It's about saving his life. Please tell me -- tell me that you can find him a kidney.

Keith: I will do whatever I can, but I want you to know upfront that I'm not in the transport business anymore. I quit that the minute I came back from Mexico.

Lily: But you can still get in touch with the people you used to work for, right?

Keith: Yeah. They're not very happy with me right now because I quit, you know, so I haven't got a lot of juice.

Lily: I'll pay you anything. I'll do anything. I'll pay $1 million -- I'll pay $5 million. I'll pay anything. I can't lose my son. Please, you have to help me.

Keith: I told you, I will do anything for you and for Luke.

Lily: I'm very grateful. Thank you.

Keith: So I'm glad you came to me, Lily. Don't feel guilty about that.

Lily: Do you think that you can convince the people you used to work for to give you a lead?

Keith: The kind of money you're throwing around, I doubt they'll say no. Plus, you know, I've got some dirt on these guys, so I could expedite things.

Lily: Thank you.

Keith: Don't thank me just yet. I really hate to see you going through this.

Lily: I have to go back to the hospital.

Keith: Okay, I'll make the phone calls and get things started, but I want to ask you a question. I want you to be honest with me.

Lily: What?

Keith: I'm prepared to go as far as I have to get Luke a kidney, hopefully, through legitimate channels. However, can you accept the fact that if I have to cut corners, will you not ask any questions where it comes from?

Meg: Hey, I hear there have been a lot of responses from Lily's on-air plea from help. Something good could happen.

Holden: I really wish I could believe that. I need to believe that.

Meg: Well, I'm sorry I didn't deliver any encouraging news about josh and iva.

Holden: I'm just glad Lily wasn't here when you told me. So how are you? How are you holding up?

Meg: Me? It's all relative. Compared to what you and Lily are facing, I'm fine. You know, like I said, thank god you guys have each other.

Holden: Well, I just wish it wasn't something like this that made us realize how much we mean to each other.

Meg: You both knew that long before now. This just sealed the deal. You know, love is precious. You've got to grab it when it's front of you and not worry about how it got there.

Holden: Are you talking about me or you?

Meg: Both, I guess.

Holden: So where do things stand with Dusty?

Meg: They're looking a little brighter, oddly enough.

Holden: And what does that mean?

Meg: Well, let's just say that I'm not gonna fight human nature. Tragedy bonds people.

Holden: So what happened with Jennifer is bonding you and Dusty.

Meg: Yeah. It is.

Holden: And this is what you want?

Meg: Yeah, it is.

Dusty: Why do you need to be careful with me?

Jennifer: Because I told you that I needed my space, and now you start making up reasons for me to be suspicious of Paul just so that we can see each other?

Dusty: I called you because I heard Will yelling at Paul about paying Gwen's legal fees.

Jennifer: I know about the payoff. All right? Paul told me everything, what he did and why.

Dusty: Oh, he did? I didn't know that. What's his excuse?

Jennifer: He wanted Gwen and the baby to get out of town and as far away from me as possible.

Dusty: Why?

Jennifer: Because I was delusional. I thought Gwen's baby was mine, remember? And he saw how much that was tearing me apart. He was just trying to protect me.

Dusty: So how does bribing Gwen to disappear accomplish anything, unless he's got something to hide?

[Jennifer sighs]

Jennifer: Look, it wasn't just about me, okay? He wanted Gwen and the baby gone because Gwen's son reminded him of Rosanna.

Dusty: Listen to what you're saying. That's pathetic.

Jennifer: Why are you doing this? Why are you trying to turn me against my own brother?

Dusty: I'm not. I want you to be careful. That's all. Paul does what he does 'cause there's always something in it for him.

Jennifer: This isn't about Paul. It's about you. I told you that I didn't want to see you anymore, and you don't like that. So now you're just -- what, you're drumming up trouble in hopes that I'll rely on you again for protection? Well, it's not gonna work, all right? Leave me alone.

Carly: I know your loyalty is with Gwen. And I think the way that you're sticking by her and protecting that baby, I think it's wonderful. I'm just asking you, just for a minute, to think about my kids. Think about your brother. What is it gonna do to parker if his mother is in jail?

Will: You don't get it, Carly. When I said you were wasting your time, I meant I can't help you. Gwen and I broke up, so she's not gonna listen to me any more than she's gonna listen to you.

Carly: When did that happen?

Will: Today.

Carly: Why did you break up?

Will: That's none of your business, now is it?

Carly: No. No, I guess not. I'm sorry. I just -- I just thought that you and Gwen, you were pretty solid.

Will: So did I. So you might as well go plead your case to someone else. Although I don't think you're gonna find someone who's gonna sympathize with the things you did to Gwen.

Carly: I just didn't think she was capable of taking care of a baby. I mean, come on, Will, she's barely more than a kid herself.

Will: We all have to learn sometime.

Carly: She can't do it alone. She needs somebody with her who loves her the way you do. I just can't believe that the two of you can't work out whatever problems you have.

Will: Right, so make up with Gwen so that she can drop the charges against you.

Carly: No, that's not what I was thinking.

Will: No, that's exactly what you were thinking. But you know what? It's okay. I've been burned enough this week. I'm not sticking my hand back in the fire, not for you, not for anybody.

Gwen: Drop the whole you and me against the world thing. It sounds pretty lame coming out of your mouth.

Iris: No, I'm on the level here. Like it or not, we've only got each other, and I think that we should just make the best of it.

Gwen: Look, I don't want to make the best of it. I don't even want to be here. When the 90 days are up, I'm out of here no matter what. End of story.

Iris: Okay, fine. You know, you shove out of here when your time is up, sweetie. Why don't you go hook up with that mental case, because I'm sure that he can take better care of you than I can?

Gwen: You know what? I can take care of myself without help from you or anybody else. I've been doing it for a long time now, and I've gotten pretty damn good at it. Stop convincing yourself that this arrangement is anything more than a court order. I don't need you, and I don't need Will.

Iris: Huh. Well, we'll just make sure Will gets that message loud and clear.

Carly: I don't blame you for not trusting me. I haven't given you any reason to. Now please believe me when I tell you that I hope that you work things out with Gwen. I think that you belong together.

Iris: Here. You forgot something when you left.

Will: This is for the baby.

Iris: Oh, yeah. Well, Gwen doesn't want it. In fact, she told me to tell ya, she doesn't want to see ya, doesn't want to hear from ya, doesn't want to know about ya, nothing, from now on.

Will: She sent you to tell me that?

Iris: Why else would I be here?

Will: Maybe because this is a message from you?

Iris: Me? I wouldn't waste my time. But Gwen? Well, she insisted.

Will: So why didn't she just come herself?

Iris: She said she didn't want any more abuse.

Will: Abuse? No more abuse? I find it hard to believe that Gwen would say something like that.

Iris: Well, maybe she didn't exactly say it that way, but that's what she meant.

Will: No, Iris, you're lying.

Iris: Will, she was really, really upset. I mean, she was cryin' her eyes out when I left. I haven't seen her cry that hard since she was 3 years old.

Will: Maybe because you never paid her any attention.

Iris: Yeah, but I'm payin' attention now. And I'm the one who's taking care of her. She doesn't need you anymore, so stay the hell away. Got it?

Jennifer: You need to face it. You've never trusted Paul, so everything he does is gonna seem like a manipulation to you. And maybe you're still trying to protect me, and that means a lot. It really does, but you have to stop, now.

Dusty: Not till I get to the bottom of this.

Jennifer: There is nothing --

Dusty: If I'm wrong, I'll be the first to admit it.

Jennifer: There's nothing to get to the bottom of.

Dusty: If that's what you want, okay.

Jennifer: Maybe you don't even realize it.

Dusty: Realize what?

Jennifer: This isn't about Paul, or even about me. I think you're trying to make amends, and you just don't know how.

Dusty: Amends?

Jennifer: I think that you still feel guilty, and you still feel pain about the baby's death.

Dusty: Yeah, every day I do.

Jennifer: You have to let yourself off the hook, okay? 'Cause it's not your fault. You have to heal, too.

Dusty: Your kid was right in my arms.

Jennifer: And now you have to let him go. Just like I do. But I can't do that when you're around, because it just hurts too much. And maybe you don't think that makes any sense, maybe you don't think any of this makes sense, but it's just how I have to deal with things right now.

Dusty: Yeah, you've made that clear.

Jennifer: Obviously not clear enough. Because you bringing up suspicions about Paul or trying to convince me there are plots going on behind my back, that doesn't help. Okay? It just hurts me more.

Dusty: That's the last thing I want to do.

Jennifer: If you care about me as much as you say you do, then you'll let me do this by myself. Okay?

Dusty: Okay. If you need me, I'll be around.

Lily: My son is going to die if we don't find a way to save him, and I don't care how that happens. I'll do whatever it takes, financially or otherwise, because luke has to live.

Keith: Okay. You'll have my answer. I'm gonna need his medical records and stuff like that.

Lily: You have everything.

Keith: Okay.

Lily: Right here.

Keith: Listen, I got one more question. Does Holden know about this?

Lily: No.

Keith: Well, I don't think that's a good idea. I think you should tell him about it.

Lily: I'll tell Holden when the time is right. If it means saving our son, he's not gonna care how it happened.

Keith: Yeah, but I think sooner than later.

Lily: I'll worry about Holden. You just do what you have to do.

Keith: I'm on it.

Lily: Thank you. I won't forget this.

Keith: I won't let you.

Lily: Oh, please, this has to work. It just has to.

Announcer: Coming up on "As the World Turns" --

Carly: I'm not here to make trouble for you. I'm here to help you out.

Lily: I'm just so scared.

Nurse: Frannie, get the doctor.

Holden: What is it? What's happening?

Lily: Oh, Luke, oh, Luke. Luke! Oooo!

Iris: The last thing that my Gwennie needs is to have a selfish boyfriend who only sees her when he feels like it.

Will: It wasn't like that. You don't understand.

Iris: Oh, yeah, I understand plenty. The bottom line is, you walked out on her, Will. Yep, you heard one thing that you didn't like, and you just took off, because you were only thinking about what you were feeling. You didn't care about what Gwen felt or what she was going through --

Will: You know what? I don't believe for a minute that Gwen sent you here to tell me all that stuff. She would have come to see me herself.

Iris: Oh, really? Well, if she was so gung-ho about seeing you, where is she, huh?

Will: I don't know, you'll have to ask her.

Iris: You go ahead and try and convince yourself, whatever you like, but I'm here to tell ya, Gwen doesn't want ya in her life anymore. You see, she can't trust you. You've got a temper, and you've got a history of violence. And well, we just can't have that around the baby, you understand?

Will: You don't know anything about me.

Iris: Yeah? I know enough about you. So here it is in plain English. Gwen and the baby are off-limits to you, you got it?

Will: Iris, wait.

Iris: What?

Will: Take this, okay? I wanted him to have it.

Iris: We don't want it. Go find another charity case.

Meg: Hey. You all right?

Dusty: You don't want me to answer that.

Meg: This is Claudia. Dusty, Claudia.

Claudia: How do you do?

Dusty: Usually better than this. I'm gonna get a drink. Don't let me interrupt.

Claudia: Oh, no, no. Stay. It's been a long day. I should go.

Meg: Well, thanks for the drink. I definitely needed it.

Dusty: Well, you don't look so chipper. How's Luke?

Meg: Not good.

Dusty: Do you have a donor match? Sorry.

Meg: You don't look so hot yourself. You want to talk about it?

Dusty: I don't want to think about it. I don't want to think about anything right now.

Meg: Well, maybe we should do something that doesn't require talking or thinking.

Dusty: What do you have in mind?

Meg: Come with me, and I'll show you. You rack, I'll break.

Holden: Hey, what happened? I was getting a little worried.

Lily: I just for a drive to clear my head. How's Luke?

Holden: No changes. There's something that I need to tell you.

Lily: It's not good news I can tell.

Holden: Both Josh and Iva tested negative. And all the recent volunteers, they haven't tested positive either. So, I was just thinking that maybe we need to start --

Lily: No. Don't say that. Don't say anything like that, okay? Because there's somebody out there. There's a donor. We're gonna find them. I will not let my son lose this fight. I'm so scared.

Holden: I know. So am I.

Lily: I'm so scared.

Nurse: Frannie, get the doctor.

Holden: What is it? What's happened?

Lily: Oh, God, Luke. Oh, Luke. Luke!

Holden: Luke -- Luke, just try to relax.

Luke: I've gotta get back to the game. It's just a sprain.

Lily: No, honey, you have to stay here. You have to have more tests done.

Luke: Coach needs me.

Dr. Swan: Excuse me.

Luke: Why is there so many people in here?

Holden: What is happening to him?

Luke: I can't breathe. Why are there so many people in here?

Dr. Swan: The delusions are more frequent now, and that's not good. His body is fighting the renal failure as best he can, but there's a good possibility he could go into shock.

Holden: So what do we do? There's got to be something that we can do.

Dr. Swan: Find him a kidney.

Lily: Come on, Luke. Come on, honey. You've got to fight. You hear me? Come on. [Cell phone rings] Is this news about a donor? I'm gonna go out in the hall, okay? Hello? Keith. Do you have any news? No, don't come here. I'll come to you. Ten minutes. WOAK, okay. Bye.

Holden: What is it?

Lily: Kim says I should do a follow-up at WOAK.

Holden: I don't think there's any time for that.

Lily: What do we have to lose at this point?

Holden: All right. You want me to drive you over?

Lily: No. No, no, you stay here. You stay here with Luke.

Holden: Are you sure?

Lily: Yeah.

Holden: Okay. Be careful. Hurry back. Please, God, don't take him from us.

Iris: Still mad at me, huh? I don't understand why you're taking it out on me. It's not my fault that Will let you down.

Gwen: You know, I really wish you'd quit rubbing my face in it. It's not like you've been a ton of support over the years.

Iris: When are you gonna realize that that's in the past? You know, things have changed, Gwennie. Ever since I became a grandmother, I realize what's important.

Gwen: Yeah? A big, fat trust fund?

Iris: Would you just stop harping on that damn money?! I'm talkin' about family, honey. I'm talkin' about the bond between a mother and child. That little tyke in there is gonna bring us closer, just as soon as you knock that chip off of your shoulder and let me back into your life.

Gwen: I've done better on my own.

Iris: Okay. You know, I'll let you have that, because you're a smart girl. You turned out all right, even if I didn't help you. But it's tough with a kid. It's really, really tough. And I don't want you turning out to be like me because you didn't have any help.

Gwen: I'll never turn out like you. I'm gonna do everything -- you never did.

Iris: And I hope you can pull that off. You'd have a better shot at it if you have some help. Here, let me do this, okay? Why don't you go take a nap or go visit the baby? I'll finish this, and then I'll start some dinner. What do ya feel like havin'?

Gwen: I don't know.

Iris: Well, I'm thinking maybe I'd have a steak. What do you think?

Gwen: You want pasta?

Iris: Yeah, spaghetti. That's a good idea -- you know what? We don't got no sauce.

Gwen: No, I'll run out. I'll pick some up.

Iris: No, no, no, no, no. No, no, no. I think you'd had a tough enough day. Why don't you just lay down. I'll be right back.

Gwen: You sure?

Iris: Yeah. I like shopping. You, go be with your son. [Iris leaves.]

Gwen: You know what? I'm sorry, it's been a really bad day. I told you to call. Can you come back later?

Carly: No, Gwen, I'm not here to make trouble for you. I'm here to help you out.

Will: Hi, Jen. I was looking for Paul. I didn't expect to see you here. I didn't know you were back to work.

Jennifer: Well, I'm not. I'm just leaving Paul a note. What did you come to see him about?

Will: It doesn't matter.

Jennifer: Okay, I'm not buying that.

Will: Well, it's nothing I want to worry you about.

Jennifer: Please, worry me.

Will: Gwen and I broke up.

Jennifer: Oh, Will, honey, I'm so sorry. What happened?

Will: Paul did something I thought only mom would do. He decided he needed to run my life, and I think this time, he got what he wanted.

Jennifer: Does this have anything to do with him paying Gwen's legal fees?

Will: You knew about that? So once again, I'm the last person to find out anything.

Jennifer: No. Hey, hey, I only just found out, okay?

Will: How?

Jennifer: Paul told me. But you know, actually, it didn't have anything to do with you. It was not about controlling your life. He was trying to protect me. He thought that, you know, getting Gwen and the baby out of town would be a good thing. Otherwise, I would be reminded of how much I'd lost.

Will: Jen, it's not his job to play god. Paul doesn't care who he's gonna hurt as long as he gets his way.

Jennifer: Don't be so hard on him.

Will: Maybe you should be a little harder on him yourself. Him and mom pretend to want what's best for us, as long as it goes along with their plan. God forbid we'd want to live our own lives.

Jennifer: Will, he would never do anything to intentionally hurt you or me. He's been extremely supportive of me.

Will: Try controlling.

Jennifer: No, not at all.

Will: You know what? You can fall for it if you want, but I've had it. Because every time I feel like I'm getting my life together, someone in this family finds a way to screw it up.

Jennifer: Will, look, I know it's not easy. You've lost Gwen, and I've lost so much. But you know, we are never gonna get on solid ground if we keep looking for someone to blame. Why don't we help each other instead?

Meg: Ha-ha! See, that's what happens when you get too cocky.

Dusty: You distracted me.

Meg: I didn't make a peep.

Dusty: It's not difficult for you to distract me. Your turn, big guy. Don't screw up now.

Meg: Oh, I'll win the game.

Dusty: Not if you take that shot.

Meg: What's wrong with this shot?

Dusty: Well, it's not about the shot, it's your stance.

[Meg sighs]

Meg: Okay, do you wanna tell me your secret then, mr. Know it all.

Dusty: If you insist. Turn around. First of all, you got to push this leg back a little bit. Perfect. Bend your knee a little bit. Thatta girl. What's going on with your arms, anyway? What's with the grip? You tryin' to reel in a swordfish?

Meg: A shark.

Dusty: You mean a pool shark?

Meg: A great white.

Dusty: Shh, don't talk. Concentrate now. Keep your arms breezy and loose. Focus. Focus not on the tip of the cue, but on the ball. Try to relax. Breathe. And kiss that ball with your cue. [Meg laughs] Bingo! As smooth as silk.

Meg: You're the one who's smooth. You're pretty good at this.

Dusty: You ain't seen nothin' yet.

Dusty: It's your shot.

Meg: It is?

Dusty: Yep. Unless you want to call it a game.

Meg: I want to call the game.

Dusty: Okay, the game is called. Now what?

Meg: You're leaving that up to me?

Dusty: Yeah. I mean, I don't want to try to go somewhere where you don't want to take me.

Meg: And I don't want to be the drink the helps you forget.

Dusty: Forget what?

Meg: Jen.

Dusty: Who? Believe me, this is not about Jen.

Meg: Make me believe it.

Dusty: Okay. Let's go back to my place.

Meg: Sounds good.

Jennifer: I want you to write a list of colleges that you've been thinking about applying to.

Will: Uh, tell you the truth, I haven't really given any thought to college at all.

Jennifer: Okay, listen, I had this idea, and I think that it will be good for both of us.

Will: I'm listening.

Jennifer: Well, we both need to get away, don't you think, from our family, from our problems?

Will: Road trip.

Jennifer: Just you and me, buddy. Nobody else. East coast, west coast, wherever you want to go. Uh, we'll let your college choices be our guide.

Will: Why do we need a guide? Why can't we just, you know, go, wing it? Forget about colleges, just drive.

Jennifer: No, no, no. We are gonna kill two birds with one stone. We have to start looking towards the future. And for you, the future is college. So you start writing, and then I'll make plans for our trip. Deal?

Will: You're on.

Carly: I came by to warn you about something.

Gwen: What?

Carly: Iris.

Gwen: Okay, what did she do now?

Carly: Basically, she told Will that you don't want to see him ever again. She told him that he ought to stay away from you and the baby.

Gwen: Why would she do that?

Carly: She wants you all to yourself maybe? Who knows?

Gwen: Well, did Will believe her?

Carly: I don't know. She said you sent her over to java to tell him off. And she was pretty convincing, too. She gave him the gift back and everything.

Gwen: What gift?

Carly: Some little Jacket for the baby?

Gwen: The Jacket. Wait, how could she do this?

Carly: Beats me. But I thought you'd want to know. I've seen you and Will together, and even though you may be mad at him right now, I don't think that you want to push him out of your life. Do you?

Gwen: No, he got mad at me. He walked away.

Carly: But there's still a chance the two of you could make up.

Gwen: I don't know.

Carly: Don't let him go, Gwen. He's a good guy. The two of you, you're good together. Don't let Iris get away with this!

Iris: What are you doing here? Haven't you caused enough --

Carly: I am not the one that Gwen has to worry about, and you know it.

Iris: Yeah? What the hell is that supposed to mean?

Carly: I'm on to you, Iris. I know what you're trying to do, and now Gwen knows it, too. Your days of messing up our lives are over. I'm stopping it right now.

Holden: Monday night, Bulls in San Antonio. Saturday's Utah. I won't be able to make that one. Wednesday's game was unbelievable, wasn't it? All the sports writers talking about the postseason. Playoffs -- we're gonna go to the playoffs. Just you and me. You and me.

Lily: Oh, thank God.

Keith: Lily.

Lily: Please tell me its good news.

Keith: Yeah, I found a donor -- a perfect match.

Lily: Thank God. Where?

Keith: Clinic in El Paso. They're moving him to the hospital right now.

Lily: Well, how soon can we get the kidney?

Keith: Just give the word, 12 hours.

Lily: Let's do what we have to do.

Keith: Does Holden know about this?

Lily: No. No, I'll tell him when I leave here.

Keith: No, there's no reason to. It's all through legitimate channels, nothing to worry about.

Lily: Thank God.

Keith: There's no reason why anybody should know that I had anything to do with it.

Lily: Okay. I've got to talk to the doctors. I've got to alert them.

Keith: Wait a minute. Before you go, I just want to ask you something.

Lily: What?

Keith: Just hear me out before you say no.

Lily: I've got to go. Please?

Keith: You said that you would do anything for Luke, right?

Lily: Yes, he's my son. I'd give my life for him.

Keith: Would you give it to me?

Lily: You. I don't -- I don't understand what you're talking about.

Keith: Lily, I love you. And I know deep down, below that anger that you have for me, you love me, too.

Lily: Please, not now. Please don't do this. I have to go.

Keith: This is my only chance. I'm doing something for you. I want you to do something for me.

Lily: What?

Keith: Marry me. Be my wife.

Announcer: Next week on "As the World Turns" --

Gwen: I don't want us to end that way.

Will: I don't want us to end at all.

B.J.: Henry, you won't be talking to anyone for a long, long time.

Keith: Are you gonna tell them?

Lily: Keith is not here because of Luke. He's here because of me.
