Mike: Hey. I booked us a table at the Lakeview to celebrate your relaunch. From the look on your face, I take it that's not a good plan.

Jennifer: I blew it, Mike. I missed almost the entire press conference.

Mike: But you didn't, did you?

Jennifer: Barely. And Dusty tried to fill in for me, but he had reporters asking about waistlines and hems, and it -- that's not funny.

Mike: I know.

Jennifer: Okay, he was not happy. And then my mother was hovering around, probably making everything worse.

Mike: Come on, get off your feet.

Jennifer: No, no. I should probably work on a follow-up press release.

Mike: Sit down. You look like the walking dead.

Jennifer: And I thought I loved you.

Mike: Yeah, you do. I'm gonna pamper you and your baby tonight.

[Knock on door]

Barbara: Hi, Mike.

Mike: Hi.

Barbara: Did Jen get here okay? She was pretty upset.

Jennifer: I'm here, as you could probably see from my car outside. Mom, I'm tired, okay? So if you don't mind --

Barbara: Okay, fine. You rest until your brother gets here.

Jennifer: What?!

Barbara: I had to call Paul.

Mike: Had to?

Jennifer: Family conference. He should be here any moment.

Paul: Hey, I'm here. Hi. What's going on?

Barbara: Jennifer needs our help. And we're gonna pull out all the stops to make sure that she gets it.

Celia: We're early.

Casey: It's okay. This way, we can find a good spot to hang.

Celia: You want to be by the dj, right?

Casey: Do you mind?

Celia: Not as long as you promise to look at me as much as you do the music.

Casey: Not a problem.

Celia: Since we're early, maybe we can get our picture taken.

Casey: Let's wait for Will and Alison.

Celia: Why?

Casey: I don't know. Will said he and Ali might stop by, so it would be cool if we could all get our picture taken together.

Will: Alison, please open up. Yes, I'm still here, and I'm not going anywhere until we talk about this.

Alison: Leave me alone!

Will: No, not until you listen to me.

Alison: Do you want the neighbors to call the police? Go away! Will? This is a trick, isn't it? You sit out there all quiet until I open up the door. Well, forget it!

[Knock at door] [Alison screams] Are you nuts? Is that how you broke in here the first time?

Will: No. I never -- Ali, please. We have to talk about this, okay? I'm gonna sit out here until we do. You have to let me explain myself.

Keith: You look great.

Lily: You like?

Keith: I do. I do like. Where'd you get a costume like that?

Lily: I'm Rose d'angelo's sister. I learned a thing or two about wardrobe.

Keith: Oh, that's flippy, baby. Flippy. That's "jailhouse rock."

Lily: Oh. That's a little before my time.

Keith: Oh, come on. It's on TV all the time. He was in his prime then. Let's go public. What do you say?

Lily: Flippy, baby. Flippy.

Jack: Hey.

Holden: Hey. Thanks for coming by.

Jack: Where's Faith?

Holden: Upstairs, with Lisa.

Jack: All right. Guys' night. Carly's still in Montana, kids are at the sitters. Let's go.

Holden: Jack, what do you know about Keith Morrissey?

Jack: This isn't guys night.

Holden: When you were checking him out for Julia’s murder, did anything turn up?

Jack: We didn't get too far before your family started confessing right and left. Why?

Holden: There's a guy upstairs with a gun talking about how much money Keith owes him.

Jack: How do you know that?

Holden: I heard.

Jack: You -- you heard? You just happened by an open door, and there was a guy talking on the phone about Keith?

Holden: Yeah, something like that.

Jack: Maybe you heard wrong.

Holden: No. Keith owes a lot of money. He tried to raid J.J.'s trust fund. Come on. Jack, Lucinda had him checked out.

Jack: Why?

Holden: Because her instincts told her that something was off with the guy, and it turns out she was right. The guy is trouble. And today, Faith tells me that he's moving into the guest house. He's gonna be around my kids 24/7.

Jack: And so those are your concerns? The kids?

Holden: Yeah.

Jack: What does Lily say about this?

Holden: You need to talk to her about it.

Jack: No, no. No way, man!

Holden: Jack, come on.

Jack: This is between the two of you!

Holden: She won't listen to me. She'll listen to you.

Jack: This was a total ambush.

Holden: Yeah, it was. So just do it. Talk to her about our concerns.

Jack: Our concerns?

Holden: Yeah. Come on. It's not asking a lot. Just do it. Do it for me. Don't let me down here.

[Cows mooing]

Margo: Hey, hey, hey!

Tom: Oh, Sandy, you said you'd be here an hour ago!

Margo: The Walden case broke. Oh, we got the feds, we got the thieves. We got 12 arrests. But I took down the feds, and now he's squealing brutality, so I had to stay and do the report.

Tom: Brutality?

Margo: Well, you know, I jumped him from the hood of the car, but it was only a three-foot drop. This guy is like 300 pounds, so it's really more of a roll than a drop. No -- oh, no! It's okay. It'll steam out in the shower. It's okay.

Tom: Um, are you serious?

Margo: You know what? It's your fault, because you told me I had to fix myself up for tonight.

Tom: We don't have time for you to dye your hair!

Margo: I'm just touching up the roots, and Lisa said it'll only take ten minutes.

Tom: And you trust her sense of timing?

Margo: I trust her beauty sense. Now, go and practice your dance steps. I'll be there in 20 minutes.

Tom: Well, take 30 minutes. I got to pick something up. Don't be late.

Margo: I won't, I won’t. Okay, so let's see. Ten minutes. Cool.

[The Drifters' "This Magic Moment”]

Casey: Thanks, man. Sure thing.

Casey: Did you see them?

Celia: I can't be bothered.

Casey: Good for you. But just in case, I'm really glad you came with me tonight.

Celia: Oh. You're the only person I would have come with.

Casey: Want to dance?

Celia: Not yet.

Casey: Why, because those girls are watching?

Celia: I'm not just here to tick them off.

Casey: Well, I hope not. But it's a nice bonus, right?

Celia: Kind of. I know I shouldn't care what they think.

Casey: You shouldn’t. They're idiots.

Celia: Still --

Casey: Still, what? They're popular?

Celia: They are. But right now they're both wishing they were me.

Casey: My parents are coming.

Celia: Oh, right. We should be standing on opposite sides of the room when they come in.

Casey: I wouldn't go that far.

Celia: Who are you calling?

Casey: Will, to see if he and Alison are gonna come.

Celia: I thought you wanted to dance. Come on.

Casey: Sure.

Celia: Come on.

Alison: You've one minute.

Will: Okay. Look, I'm really sorry about the window. All right, it was just an accident.

Alison: What?

Will: I mean, I didn't think. You know, I just -- I forgot to close it when I left.

Alison: Do you think that's an answer?

Will: All right. I know it was a big mistake, but, you know -- and it's my fault that you got robbed.

Alison: What?

Will: Well, isn't that why you're mad at me? Because I screwed up, and I forgot to close your window?

Alison: Yeah, after you trashed my place.

Will: What are you talking about?

Alison: Come on, Will. I know.

Will: You know what?

Alison: You were seen here.

Will: Is this coming from Celia? Did she say that?

Alison: You broke in and robbed my place so you could be my big hero.

Will: Is that what she said?

Alison: This isn't about Celia!

Will: Okay, fine, fine. Forget about her. Is that what you think?

Alison: Just tell me the truth, Will. Were you or were you not in my apartment while I was out of town?

Will: Yes! But just right after you left. I came in because I forgot my keys. So I came in through the window, and that's when Celia showed up and I dropped your perfume. That's it. [Alison sighs] Alison, do you really think I'm that much of a freak? I could never do something like that to hurt you. I love you, Alison. I mean, we're friends, right? Right?

Holden: Jack, I really appreciate this. Just lay it out for Lily. All the facts about Keith. You say it, she'll get it.

Jack: They're not my facts, Holden.

Holden: Well, then check it out for yourself. Lucinda had a document from the bank saying that Keith tried to get money out of J.J.'s account.

Jack: I'm not saying you made it up. I'm just saying it feels kinda weird.

Holden: It's still the truth.

Babysitter: Hi.

Holden: Hi.

Babysitter: Mrs. Snyder said that you were gonna have Faith for the rest of the night.

Holden: Yeah, I would have, but something came up. Where is Lily?

Babysitter: She went out for the night.

Faith: Daddy? Are we home?

Holden: Yes, we are, pumpkin. I'll tell you what, can you get her ready for bed?

Babysitter: Yeah.

Holden: All right.

Babysitter: Come on. Lily is out with Keith.

Jack: Probably, yeah.

Holden: It's perfect. We can go search the guest house.

Jack: No, Holden, ease up a second.

Holden: Ease up? Jack, he's trying to take money out of his nephew's account. He's got a guy with a gun chasing him all over town. What's to love here?

Jack: He cares about J.J., for one thing, and I've never seen him be anything but good to that kid.

Holden: So?

Jack: So, I've wrongly accused him once already, and it came back to bite me. I'm not gonna follow it up with an illegal search. And if Lily ever found out, she'd be furious. So why don't you just wait until you can speak to her about what you suspect?

Holden: Until you can speak to her.

Jack: Fine, whatever. But not tonight. She's out to dinner or whatever. And I thought we were gonna have a guys' night.

Holden: All right, all right. Let's do it.

Jack: Fine, let's go play some pool. Go.

Keith: Did you change your mind?

Lily: No.

Keith: Well, you seem to be frozen in place.

Lily: You were joking before, but this really is going public.

Keith: I guess it is.

Lily: I know this seems really silly to you, but it's been a really long time since I was out with anyone other than Holden. I mean, years and years.

Keith: We don't have to do this. We can go someplace, you know, get something to eat, or I could take you home, whatever.

Lily: No. No, I want to stay. I want to be here. My marriage is over. And it's time.

Keith: Or not. You know, sometimes, whether something's over or not, to say it out loud can be, sometimes, too soon. Let's go in and dance. What do you say?

Lily: Yeah. Let's dance.

Tom: Hey. Wow, you look awesome!

Margo: I feel like I took off ten years in ten minutes. What's that?

Tom: Oh, that is for you.

Margo: Honey, if we get any cuter, I'm gonna throw up.

Tom: C'mon, you're my girl. It's the big dance.

Margo: Oh, does that mean we can make out in the back seat?

Tom: I don't know, I was hoping maybe I could get, you know, lucky?

Margo: Yeah? That could happen.

Jennifer: Well, Dusty had every right to be furious. There he was, trying to prove to the world that Street Jeans is still in business, and I don't even show up until the very end.

Paul: Well, Glenda was there, though, right, being her usual insightful self?

Jennifer: Oh, yes. She went right at Dusty with questions about accessories.

Paul: Oh, boy.

Jennifer: But I'm sure -- you know, I'm sure he did the best he could.

Barbara: Honey, I caught with her before she left. I just wanted to clarify that she understood that these were all of your influences. She loved the line. It wasn't a fiasco.

Jennifer: But it could have been. And I can't afford even one slip-up.

Barbara: And that's why we're here.

Paul: Yeah, let us help. Or, at the very least, let me help.

Barbara: Whatever way that you're comfortable with. Let Paul come in, all right? You just have to realize that you can't try to do everything.

Jennifer: Or maybe we just can't do everything. You sure you don't want to just elope?

Mike: I thought you said you wanted a real wedding? We were looking at churches today.

Paul: Well, planning a wedding is huge. How are you gonna do that and run a business single-handedly?

Jennifer: Well, Dusty's there.

Paul: How a you going to do that and run a business single-handedly? No, I'm serious. Please, just let me help. At least with the work.

Jennifer: I appreciate the offer, really, but I need to be at the office to see things through.

Paul: Jennifer, something's got to give.

Jennifer: You're right. Something's got to give.

Barbara: Well, it won't be your wedding. Let me handle it. Just leave everything to me.

Alison: I love Aaron.

Will: I know.

Alison: I am in love with Aaron. For real, forever. And that's not just gonna change 'cause he's in Seattle now.

Will: I got it.

Alison: Do you? I mean, did you really think things would change now that I'm alone more? I mean, I know I leaned on you last night, and maybe I was sending the wrong message, but --

Will: Don't, Ali. We're friends.

Alison: I shouldn't have asked you to stay here last night. I'm handling this all wrong.

Will: No, you're not. You were freaked out. You got robbed. You have a right to be. Not by me, but --

Alison: If you are so innocent, why didn't you just tell me what happened? I mean, when Hal asked about the open window, why didn't you just tell us the truth?

Will: I was embarrassed. And then, you know, it was -- it was, like, too late. Look, I'm really sorry, okay? I'll replace the perfume and everything else that I can --

Alison: How did you break my perfume bottle?

Will: I dropped it.

Alison: Well, then why did you even have it in the first place?

Will: I don't know. It was by my keys. I guess I picked it up.

Alison: And smelled it? Will, this -- this isn't fair to you or me. And I feel like I hurt you all the time just because of how things are.

Will: That's not true.

Alison: I can't keep telling you over and over that I love Aaron.

Will: I know, okay? I get it.

Alison: And I feel like this is keeping you from making real friends.

Will: Ali, you are a real friend.

Alison: No, I mean friends with girls who are possible for you.

Will: You are impossible. That's true. Ali -- Ali, please don't do this.

Alison: I have to. I feel like -- I feel like this is -- I'm already dealing with so much right now. And worrying about you, it's just too much.

Will: How?

Alison: Too much! Too much feeling, too much responsibility. Too much. Too much everything! I can't be friends with you anymore. I'm sorry.

Tom: Hey, did we make it?

Margo: Yeah. Oh, yeah. Dance contest hasn't started. We're just under the wire here.

Tom: Sign up.

Margo: Okay.

Tom: Cute, right?

Celia: Hey.

Tom and Margo: Hey.

Celia: You look great, Mrs. Hughes.

Tom: How about the hair? The hair looks good.

Celia: Oh, it does. Always does. Looks great.

Margo: You know what? He is busting your chops. I made him wait a whole ten minutes so I could do my hair.

Casey: Well, it was worth it, 'cause you look great, Mom.

Margo: Thank you.

Tom: You know what? You just need to stop and disappear, and act like your parents aren't here.

Casey: Am I embarrassing you?

Margo: Yeah, you are. Ditch it. Get out of here. Oh, my, my, my, my, my. Lookee here. You think she's just being neighborly to the new kid in town? Uh-uh. That's a date smile.

Tom: Yeah.

Margo: Yeah. You know about this?

Tom: A little bit.

Margo: How?

Tom: Well, Lucinda’s all in a snit because they're getting so close. She calls me every day with some wild scheme as to how to throw him in jail or run him out of town.

Margo: You know, wouldn't life be boring without Lucinda? So, is it any particular reason, or just that Keith isn't Holden?

Tom: I think that's enough.

Margo: Hmm.

Lily: We've been spotted. Tom and Margo.

Keith: Let's go say hello, you want to?

Lily: Yes. Tom, Margo.

Margo: Hey. Hi. Love that dress.

Lily: Thank you. It's just something I threw together. That skirt, you must have gone shopping for that.

Margo: Lisa -- Lisa dug this up, and I just did what she told me.

Lily: It's great. It looks great on you.

Tom: So, you guys in the dance contest?

Keith: No.

Lily: No. We're not. We're not gonna do that. But the two of you, I hear, are fabulous.

Tom: No, you probably heard we're a little out of practice.

Dj: Ladies and gentlemen, it's time for the spotlight dance.

Margo: Ah, let's practice.

Keith: You know, you can breathe now.

Lily: Yeah, yeah. I seemed a little nervous, didn't I?

Keith: But, you know what? It gets easier each time.

Lily: Yes, it will.

Keith: Listen, you know we're not in the contest, but --

Lily: Mm-mm.

Keith: I still think we should dance, though. What do you say?

Lily: Yeah.

Keith: C'mon.

Lily: Sure.

Jack: Oh, picked the wrong place for beer and pool. Why don't we hit that new joint out on route eight? C'mon.

Announcer: Coming up on "As the World Turns" --

Keith: It's about me, right?

Jack: Come on, let's get out of here. Let's just go.

Holden: Not until she knows.

Lily: Knows what?

Paul: And here's to my new brother. Welcome to the family.

All: Cheers.

Jack: Holden?

Holden: I need to speak to you.

Lily: Holden?

Keith: Hey, this is not a good time.

Holden: Nobody asked you.

Lily: Hey, this is not a good time or place.

Holden: Just give me five minutes.

Keith: What's it about?

Holden: Lily, please.

Lily: Is this about the kids?

Holden: In a way, it is.

Keith: No, it's about me, right?

Jack: Come on. Let's get out of here. Let's just go.

Holden: Not until she knows.

Lily: Knows what?

Holden: Who you moved onto your property, next door to our kids. This guy is a deadbeat. He skipped out on his bill at the Lakeview.

Lily: That's not true.

Keith: Look, if you think I'm after her money, if that's your concern, you can relax.

Holden: No, my concern is the guy with the gun who's trying to muscle you.

Lily: What?

Holden: Ask him. There's a guy in town who says that Keith owes him money, and he's armed.

Keith: Joe.

Lily: Oh, right, Joe.

Holden: You know this guy?

Lily: Yeah, I met him. He's an old friend of Keith’s. Keith owes him a little money, that's all.

Keith: Yeah, he came into town last night and stayed with me. And, you know, he carries a gun because he's an airline pilot.

Holden: And it's got nothing to do with collecting from you. Don't tell me that you buy this story?

Lily: You need to leave now.

Keith: Wait a second. Wait a second. Yeah, is this the guy?

Lily: Is it?

Holden: Yeah, it could be. This picture's a little old, though.

Keith: Well, you see, we were in the service together. Now we fly for the same airlines. And he's kind of like a brother to me.

Holden: Like a brother? Didn't seem like a brother, or a friend.

Lily: Were you eavesdropping?

Jack: Okay, this is getting a little embarrassing. We're gonna go.

Holden: Yeah, okay, fine. We are gonna go. Hey, you have a nice night, all right?

Jack: Sorry to interrupt you. We had no idea you were gonna be here.

Will: This is unreal.

Alison: I'm sorry.

Will: How can you just decide that we're not gonna be friends anymore?

Alison: I told you. This whole thing is too much. Maybe that's unfair, but that's the way it is. And please accept that.

Jennifer: Hi, this is Jennifer Munson. Please leave a message and I'll get back to you.

Will: Jen, it's me, Will. I need to talk to you. I don't know -- I guess I'll try coming by your place. Just please give me a call back. I need to talk to you.

Casey: Hey, Will, it's me. Where are you and Alison, man? Call me. What?

Celia: Is it so bad to be alone with me?

Casey: What?

Celia: You're, like, obsessed with getting Will and Alison here.

Casey: The guy actually agreed to come to a dance. I mean, something that historic, you got to push it through. So -- I don't know. I just want to see him have fun.

Celia: That's sweet. I'll be right back.

Margo: Okay, I'm gonna do a quick hair and make-up check in the can, and then I come back, and we dance, and we take no prisoners.

Tom: Hey, we're taking the trophy home.

Margo: Yeah. I'll be back soon, in a flash.

Tom: Hey.

Casey: Hey.

Tom: You and Celia having fun?

Casey: Yeah. Yeah, we're having a good time.

Tom: Really? That's it?

Casey: What do you want?

Tom: Nothing, I just kind of enjoy watching you squirm. It's parental humor.

Casey: It's very twisted.

Tom: That's true.

Lia: Celia, don't we look authentic.

Ann: Oh well, she's got a built-in advantage, you know? It helps when you come from a place where everything new stopped in, like, 1960.

Lia: Oh, what is that place? You know, my third world geography is a little lame.

Celia: You know, if you weren't so nasty, you might attract a great guy like Casey. But most guys think that attitude's a real turn-off.

Ann: Oh, do they? And how would you know?

Lia: Maybe that great guy that she came with told her.

[Phone rings]

Alison: Hello?

Casey: Hey, Ali --

Alison: Will, I told you, I can't do this.

Casey: Whoa, whoa. It's Casey. Will's not there?

Alison: No, sorry. I didn't mean to snap at you.

Casey: No, it's okay. Will said you guys might stop by the dance?

Alison: Will and I aren't doing anything, ever.

Casey: Why? What happened?

Alison: Ask Celia. I got to go.

Celia: You would've been so proud of me just now.

Casey: Yeah, why's that?

Celia: What is it?

Casey: You told Alison about Will, didn't you?

Jennifer: Mom, I'm not so sure that a full-blown wedding is such a good idea, even if you could handle the whole thing. I have to focus on my work, I have to stay healthy for the baby. And I just can't stretch myself that thin.

Barbara: But, honey, if you let me handle this wedding for you, all you're gonna have to do is show up.

Jennifer: I don't know. Mike?

Mike: Don't ask me. When it comes to wedding plans, that's your call.

Barbara: Can you really tell me that a wedding without all the trimmings is what you want? Honestly?

Jennifer: Well, whatever we do will be fine.

Barbara: Wouldn't it be wonderful to have your whole family there? Your dad could walk you down the aisle. What do you think?

Jennifer: I'd like that.

Mike: I'll need a best man, if you're available.

Paul: I'm definitely available.

Barbara: And I will design the gown, subject to your approval.

Jennifer: Of course.

Barbara: You're doing the right thing. Thank you. I won't let you down. With all the recent news on prescription pain relievers,

Will: Congratulations? For what?

Barbara: Okay, now. Stop holding your breath.

Jennifer: I wouldn't bother. I'm gonna be huge anyway.

Barbara: Well, that depends on how far along you are.

Jennifer: Oh, honey, the wedding's next week, okay? I want to get married with a waistline.

Barbara: Come on. You can't care about that with a baby on the way.

Will: Jen's pregnant, and getting married?

Barbara: Whoa. Time for a beer.

Paul: She's ready for the bouquet toss.

Barbara: No, thanks. 12 weddings are quite enough.

Paul: Don't even ask.

Jennifer: She's only exaggerating a little bit.

Mike: I'd like to propose a toast to my one and only bride.

Paul: And here's to my new brother. Welcome to the family. Cheers.

Barbara: Cheers.

Jennifer: Who's there? Is someone there?

Casey: How many times did I tell you that the thing that happened between Will and Alison was none of our business?

Celia: I'm sorry, Casey, but I don't feel the same way about it that you do.

Casey: No?

Celia: No. Alison's been good to me. She's the only reason me and Rafael are even in this country. I owe her.

Casey: Owe her what? Will's her friend.

Celia: I don't think so.

Casey: You are so wrong.

Celia: He's playing her, Casey. He used the whole break-in situation to move in on her.

Casey: He's being a friend.

Celia: He spent the night.

Casey: Yeah, so what?

Celia: So, doesn't it creep you out at all that he's trashing her apartment, and then he turns around and acts like her friend?

Casey: Oh, man.

Celia: What?

Casey: Is that what you told Alison?

Celia: I told her that's what I thought.

Casey: You have no proof, though. Did you even ask Will his side? Did you? I mean, hasn't Will been a good friend to you, too? Will's a nice guy, and you trashed him without any proof. I mean, do you even know what he's been through? He doesn't need this.

Celia: Well, I don't need this either.

Keith: My money's on the D.A. That's if I had any money.

Lily: I'm so sorry about earlier. I don't know what Holden’s problem is.

Keith: Well, you know, he's concerned about you. You're rich, and he just thinks I'm a deadbeat.

Lily: I don't think that. You want to go?

Keith: You know what? I'm gonna go outside and get a little air, okay? You gonna be all right?

Lily: Yeah, sure.

Keith: I'll be back.

Lily: Okay.

[Keith sighs]

Casey: Come on, man. Pick up. Hey, it's Casey, for the tenth time. Listen, man, I heard. Just call me, all right? Immediately.

[Cell phone beeps]

Barbara: It's a little rough.

Paul: It's very nice. I like it around the neck.

Barbara: It's a beautiful neckline. And with her long, gorgeous neck, it'll distract attention from the waistline. She sounded a little self conscious about that.

Paul: You got your daughter back.

Barbara: The only thing that would make me happier is to have my whole family back.

Paul: Okay, don't push it. This is about Jennifer. Don't forget. This is her kid. This is her wedding.

Barbara: I know that. But I'm allowed to be excited to be a grandmother. Aren't I?

Paul: Whatever you want, Granny.

Barbara: Hey, something more suitable, please? But you admit I'm right. This baby is gonna bring our whole family back together again.

Jennifer: It would be nice to get along, for a change.

Paul: It would be nice.

Jennifer: Because I'm too tired for anything else. Oh, my God. Will! We haven't told Will our good news.

Mike: Tomorrow. Let's get some sleep.

Jennifer: Are you going to nag me through my whole pregnancy?

Mike: Listen, if I have to put up with your crankiness, then I get to nag. We'll call him first thing in the morning.

Paul: All right. Come on. Let's get out of here.

Barbara: Okay. You get a good night's sleep, and I'll bring you sketches tomorrow, okay? Good night, sweetie. Good night, Mike.

Mike: Good night.

Paul: Listen, thanks. This is really nice. It's not often good things happen to this family. So I'm really glad I was a part of it.

[Will outside the door. Remembering what Alison said to him.]

Alison: It's too much, Will. Too much feeling, too much responsibility, too much everything! I can't be your friend anymore.

Paul: Here's to my new brother. Welcome to the family.

Jack: You sure you don't want to go shoot pool? I've got a game in the other room, if you want to do that. Or you can just break something.

Holden: I've embarrassed myself enough for one night.

Jack: Yeah, you have.

Holden: I must have sounded like them -- our wives, when they went after Julia.

Jack: Well, you see a gunman, you automatically assume it's a leg-breaker out to get Keith for money.

Holden: I must've sounded like a jealous husband.

Jack: It happens. Are you?

Holden: What?

Jack: A jealous husband. And don't tell me it's the kids. Why don't you take a minute to think about that before you answer the question?

Holden: Was I jealous? No, I don't think so, considering I told her I didn't want to be married to her 500 times.

Jack: So maybe it's different, coming from her?

Holden: Maybe. Maybe it was just a knee-jerk reaction, and I didn't like seeing her with somebody else. But the bottom line is I'm still worried about my kids.

Jack: Right, because Keith’s so dangerous.

Holden: Yeah, and Lucinda seems to think so, too.

Jack: Lucinda thinks everyone's after Lily's money.

Holden: That's because most of time they are.

Jack: Oh, that's different than being dangerous, Holden.

Holden: Lucinda knows the difference. She's a good judge of people. The guy has a lot of debt. He's got some guy with a gun chasing after him. I think I have a right to be concerned, Jack.

Jack: Okay. I'll check him out for you, if you want me to.

Holden: No, you know what? Don't even bother. I don't want you to risk losing J.J.

Jack: Listen, I just don't want to make trouble when there isn't any. But if the guy's bad news, if he poses a problem --

Holden: Well, you just said that haven't seen it.

Jack: No. No, I haven’t.

Holden: You know what? Just forget it. We both probably should just forget it.

Jack: Can you do that?

Holden: I think I have to. I certainly don't want to embarrass myself anymore.

Jack: Well, we've all been fools for love, Holden. You just got to make sure that that isn't what it is. Check yourself, because if you're still in love with Lily, it's a whole different ball game.

Lily: This is a gorgeous trophy.

Tom: Thank you.

Lily: I'm not gonna lie to you.

Margo: Ain't she pretty? I'm just glad we're still on our feet.

Tom: I am gonna go get drinks.

Margo: Thank you. How are you? You okay?

Lily: Yeah, sure.

Margo: Yeah? 'Cause I saw Holden here before, that couldn't have been fun.

Lily: No, it wasn’t. It was a big enough deal bringing Keith out tonight. I figured we'd see friends, and then seeing Holden -- I guess it's better to get everything over with at once.

Margo: Is it over?

Lily: My marriage?

Margo: Yeah, because it wasn't too long ago that Tom and I were separated. We thought it was over.

Lily: This is different. I fought really hard. But I have to listen to Holden. You know, I think he's right. I think I have to let him go, and move on.

Margo: So, that's what you're doing with Keith?

Lily: I don't know. I'm just trying to have fun, you know? Take it one day at a time. And Keith has been one big surprise. A really nice surprise.

Keith: That hurt. What the hell are you doing here?

Vin: Keeping an eye on you. You got a real nasty habit of disappearing. But you ain't getting rid of me.

Keith: Look, I'm just here on family business. That's all.

Vin: I seen the family you're hanging out with in there. I'm not interested in Lily's money. I wonder what your girlfriend would think if she knew just how far you would go for money?

Announcer: Next week on "As the World Turns" --

Katie: Oh, I didn't realize. I didn't think you would be here.

Jennifer: Katie, no. Katie, Mike and I were just fighting. And I bet that makes you really happy, doesn't it? So congratulations. You're finally getting what you want.
