As The World Turns Transcript Monday 8/30/04
Proofread by Emma
Chris: I hope you like leftovers.
Emily: Are you kidding me? That's enough food for an entire army.
Chris: That's what your mother said. She thought you could use it to feed your family.
Emily: Oh, family? That's funny. What family? Parker's with Carly, Danielís at a friend's, Nikki and Hal are dealing with Barbaraís arraignment, and nothing else in the world seems to exist, including me, until that's been taken care of.
Chris: Well, at least you're not feeling sorry for yourself.
Emily: All I'm saying is that that's a lot of food for one person, unless I can convince a friend to stay and join me.
Chris: A "friend"?
Chris: How long do you think that we could keep this up?
Emily: What are you talking about?
Chris: Pretending that we're just friends, pretending that we can control this, whatever this is. Because I don't know how long I can hack it, how long I can control how I feel or how I act when I'm alone with you. I'm not sure that I want to.
Barbara: Well, I see I haven't swayed you. You've already made up your minds about me. So you leave me no choice. And as much as I hate to deprive you of the opportunity of kicking me while I'm down, there's only one last thing to say. So long, you miserable hypocrites! It's been real fun!
Hal: Brighton, get the EMTs here right now.
Jennifer: How badly is she hurt?!
Hal: I don't know. I can't tell from here.
Jordan: It's only two stories. She could have made it.
Hal: That's a long shot.
Jennifer: I have to see her!
Hal: You stay here.
Jennifer: Dad, she could be dead!
Hal: Jennifer, you let me handle this! I'll be back when I know something.
Jordan: Don't look down there, Jennifer. Don't look down there.
Craig: What do you want, Dusty?
Dusty: How are you feeling today? Good?
Craig: What do you want?
Dusty: I want to tell you not to worry about Lucy. She'll be well taken care of.
Craig: What is that supposed to mean?
Dusty: She's staying with me now, and that's where she'll be staying from now on.
[Knock at door]
Lucy: Oh, it's you.
Lucinda: Is that the way you -- you greet your doting grandmother, darling?
Lucy: I was planning on calling you.
Lucinda: There are some things that are better said face-to-face.
Lucy: I agree, but before you jump all over me about this --
Lucinda: Wait a moment. Excuse me, my darling. When you called me last night to say that you were gonna spend the night here with Dusty, I said nary a word against it.
Lucy: You didn't have to. The cold, dead silence told me all I needed to know.
Lucinda: Honey, you want to be treated like an adult, you've got to be an adult.
Lucy: Most of the adults around here --
Lucinda: Okay, be better than they are and just stick to your decisions.
Lucy: I do.
Lucinda: All right. Good. Now, the car is downstairs waiting. I have had the staff pack up what I think you're gonna need, and you can always buy anything else in Williamstown. So get your clothes on. Get a move on. College awaits!
Julia: Jack, J.J. asked me to come find you. Jack? Hi.
Julia: My son, little boy, blond hair, about this tall.
Jack: Yeah. What --
Julia: Jack, are you okay? You look like you've seen a ghost.
Jennifer: Dad? Daddy?
Hal: Jennifer --
Jennifer: Oh, just tell me.
Hal: Your mother is alive.
Jennifer: Oh, my God! Oh! But how?
Hal: I don't know. The bushes must have broken her fall.
Nikki: She was gone when we got down there. She must have taken off by foot.
Hal: We got police searching the area.
Jennifer: Oh, my God. Dad, where would she go? What is she gonna do?
Hal: I don't know. All I know is that she was desperate enough to go through that window. She might try anything at this point.
Jordan: Well, is there anything that I can do?
Hal: We've got it covered, Jordan.
Nikki: We've issued an APB.
Hal: And we've alerted the state hospital.
Jordan: What are they gonna do?
Jennifer: Try to keep Will safe. You think she might --?
Hal: All I know is that she's desperate, and we've got to find her before she hurts anybody else.
Emily: We can and we will control ourselves, 'cause we're adults.
Chris: Adults with a very intense past.
Emily: Exactly, a past. You're marrying my sister now, remember?
Chris: Yes. And we can't be left alone in the same room together.
Emily: Well, you know what? Speak for yourself. I am in total con -- -- control of my body.
Chris: You were saying?
Emily: Just stop it, all right? Don't start with me now.
Chris: The same thing happens every time that we're alone together, every time we try to control how we feel. One minute, we're standing alone in a mattress store, and the next, we're falling into bed together.
Emily: That happened once.
Chris: It happened lots when we were dating.
Emily: Okay, well, we stopped dating, remember? We broke up.
Chris: Yes, yes, and I never quite got the reason for that.
Emily: I think I know what we need to do.
Chris: You do?
Emily: We need to sit down and talk about our relationship and why it didn't work and the problems we had, and then maybe we'll be able to move on.
Chris: And when exactly do you want to do this?
Emily: Now. Yeah, now. Stay for dinner. We'll sit down and eat like two normal people and get everything out in the open.
Chris: And you think that that will cool things down between us?
Emily: Mm-hmm. I mean, it couldn't hurt, right?
Chris: Well, instead of cooling things down, it could just, you know, feed the flames.
Emily: It has to, okay? We have to be able to do this, or we're sunk.
Craig: So what do you want? You want me to rise to your bait? So you manipulated my daughter into moving in with you. What a surprise.
Dusty: Is it?
Craig: Oh, Dusty, she was hurt, vulnerable, and you were conveniently always there. It's temporary.
Dusty: It's what you say to yourself so you can sleep at night.
Craig: She's growing up fast, Dusty, but you won't be her last mistake.
Dusty: You still think she's your little girl, turning to papa for all the answers? Those days are gone. They ended when she found out you had her kidnapped. That's why she's with me.
Craig: Oh. Well, she may be with you now, but you are still mad about something, aren't you? You're mad, because even in that hard-boiled fantasy you live in, you don't control her, and you know you never will. Right? She went all the way to the police station, and she couldn't turn me in, like you needed her to. Just one more thing out of Dusty's grasp. Well, she may be with you now, but in time, you'll be just an embarrassing memory. I will always be her father.
[Car alarm beeps]
Lucy: Since you have my bags all packed, then you can just send them here. I'm not going to college.
Lucinda: Oh, honey, tell me you're joking.
Lucy: No, I'm serious, at least for the semester.
Lucinda: Why defer enrollment?
Lucy: Have you completely forgotten what my life has been like these past six months?
Lucinda: Of course I havenít.
Lucy: If this is -- this is my life. If I want to take a few months out to actually enjoy some of it, then I think that's my choice.
Lucinda: This is all about Dusty now, isn't it?
Lucy: This isn't about --
Lucinda: Yes, it is. It's all Dusty's foolishness.
Lucy: It has nothing to do with Dusty.
Lucinda: Oh. [Lucinda clears throat] Clearly.
Lucy: He is the only one who hasn't tried to control me.
Lucinda: Well, dear, what was your night of whatever it was? What was that?
Lucy: I was considering my options.
Lucinda: Oh. Hey, I hope you took the necessary precautions.
Lucy: Grandmother --
Lucinda: I just say that because you're not generally thinking very clearly or rationally. I mean, you're postponing enrollment.
Lucy: Which isn't the end of the world or the end of my future plans. This could be something. I'm in love with Dusty, and he's in love with me, and there's nothing that you or anybody else can do about that.
Jack: I thought I saw someone.
Julia: Someone you recognized?
Jack: No, I thought I might, for a split second, and then -- oh, wow.
Julia: Hey, you okay?
Jack: I'm fine.
Julia: What's the matter?
Jack: Just a little lightheaded, I guess.
Julia: You know what? Maybe this was too much, too soon. I'm sorry. J.J. was so excited.
Jack: No, please don't cut the trip short. If I just sit down for a minute, I'll be fine, really. Where did you say he was again?
Julia: In line for the slide. All right, listen. You wait for us maybe over there, out of the sun. I'll be right back.
Carly: So what do you want to do first? Go down the water slide or the splash-and-ride or run through the fountain?
Parker: Remember the time Jack took us to the place with the waterfall?
Carly: Yeah, yeah, Luthers Corners, right? Yeah, he loved that place.
Parker: Right. So maybe he's at the waterfall here. It's right over there. Can I go look, please?
Carly: Yeah, all right, sweetheart, but just stay where I can see you. You promise.
Parker: I will.
Mike: I'll be right back.
Carly: What -- where are you going?
Mike: I think I found something Parker might like.
Carly: Mike, what Parker wants is Jack. That's his dream, that he'll look in a crowd, and he'll find Jack's face, and everything will be back to normal. He'll be happy again. It's the same dream as mine.
Jack: Who are you?
Emily: I haven't spent a lot of time thinking about the past, but I do remember you were the one person who really understood me in a way that no one else ever had.
Chris: Yeah, well, I told you one day that you would kick yourself for letting me get away.
Emily: Look, I love my husband. I mean, I have a good marriage. I know I do. I mean, we have our problems like everybody else does, but it's a good marriage, and I don't understand why every time I'm with you, there is this force between us, and I can't stop myself.
Chris: It sounds like you still have feelings for me.
Emily: I didn't say that.
Chris: You didn't have to.
Emily: I cannot do this, okay? Don't do this.
Chris: I wish --
Emily: I wish -- so do I. Donít. Please, okay? We canít. I'm married. You're about to get married. You're a ceremony away. It's, like, a couple weeks away.
Chris: I know, I know, but I have this voice inside my head, and it won't stop. And all I can hear is that if it were just you and me and there were no Hal, no Alison, then I would just --
Emily: What? What would you do?
Hal: Emily? Emily?
Emily: Hal! What's the matter? Is everything okay?
Hal: Listen, I know this might sound crazy, but I just had to make sure that you're okay.
Barbara: Listen, honey, we don't have a lot of time, 'cause pretty soon, those doctors and nurses are gonna start monitoring your phone lines, and they're not gonna let you take any more phone calls from me. Yes, just like before. But don't you worry, because no one's gonna stop me from protecting you. And pretty soon, we're gonna be together again. Mama will take care of everything.
Man: Got your package bundled up, ready to go.
Dusty: Where are you?
Man: The post office.
Dusty: I'm on my way.
Craig: Oh. What the -- who are you?
Man: The last face you'll see on earth. Today, you die.
Lucinda: So now you're in love with Dusty Donovan?
Lucy: And he loves me.
Lucinda: And what does mom think about this latest development, huh?
Lucy: I was planning on calling her and telling her everything tonight.
Lucinda: Oh. Oh, tonight? You think she'll be understanding that you want to throw away your whole future for an infatuation?
Lucy: He's not just a crush. He's -- he's very important to me.
Lucinda: A summer romance.
Lucy: It's more than that. He saved my life. He means everything to me, and if you can't see that, then I feel really sorry for you.
Lucinda: Darling, please don't be sorry for me.
Lucy: Why, because your life is completely devoid of love and romance, and you can't possible understand what I'm --?
Lucinda: That's what you think about me, dear?
Lucy: That's not what I meant.
Lucinda: No, no, no, no, no. Of course, you're partially correct, darling. I don't have a love in my life. But I have memories. I remember romance and the agony and the ecstasy. And let me tell you something -- I never was a fool for any man.
Lucy: Neither am I.
Lucinda: I beg to differ, dear. This time, not only is love blind, but love is deaf and dumb, too.
Craig: Okay, you wanted me here. I'm here. What do you want -- money? I got no money. You want my life. Is that it? Do you want me to negotiate for my life?
Dusty: That sounds like a good place to start.
Craig: Oh, well, you should have mentioned we have a mutual friend.
Dusty: Why? Would it make a difference?
Craig: Okay, Dusty, what's the deal?
Dusty: There is no deal.
Craig: Hey, hey, hey, hey. What are you doing?
Dusty: I'm doing this for Lucy. You betrayed her. You know you broke her heart.
Craig: Oh, okay, and you're gonna fix that?
Dusty: Yeah, by getting rid of you.
Craig: Come on. Dusty, we can work this out.
Dusty: I don't want anything from you, Montgomery.
Craig: You know --
Dusty: This is payback.
Craig: All right, well, listen --
Dusty: For Alan, Sierra and especially Lucy.
Craig: You're not gonna settle anything with that, huh?
Dusty: Were you a victim of circumstance? Were you hanging out with the wrong crowd? Did the devil make you do it? Don't tell me it wasn't your decision. Let me tell you something. Right now, you get to make a decision all on your own, like a big boy. You want to free-fall or you want a bullet through the head? Your choice.
Martha: Can I help you?
Jack: This is gonna sound weird. Do you know me?
Martha: That's a new spin on, "haven't we met someplace before?"
Parker: Where's Mike?
Carly: Hey, he'll be right back. So what do you say? You want to go down that big slide over there?
Parker: After I look around some more.
Carly: Oh, come on, sweetie. You're the one who spotted this place and wanted to stop. Now you don't even want to go in the water?
Parker: I didn't come here to go in the water. I came here to look for Jack.
Carly: Okay, Parker, whatever you need. Right now, your sister needs a diaper change, so come on.
Parker: I'm not going in the ladies' room.
Carly: Well, there's nobody to watch you.
Parker: I'll stay here and wait for Mike.
Carly: You certainly will not. I'm not gonna leave you here by yourself.
Parker: And you can't make me go in there.
Carly: Right. Hi. Excuse me. This is an odd favor, but I'm wondering if you could watch my little boy for me, just so I can change my baby's diaper, if that's okay?
Julia: Yeah, that's great. I wouldn't mind at all, yeah.
Carly: Really? Good. Thanks. You're a lifesaver.
Announcer: Coming up on "As the World Turns" --
Emily: The gun is not here.
Chris: Okay, okay --
Emily: Somebody broke into the garage and took the gun.
Craig: One little push, huh?! That's it. One little push -- if you've got the conviction.
Julia: You know, the bathrooms over there, they have padded changing tables, and it's usually pretty empty.
Carly: Oh, good. Thanks for the tip.
Julia: We only live about an hour away, right? We've been coming here all summer. He knows this place by heart.
Julia: Yeah, J.J.
Carly: Well, J.J., We should get you to show us around. I'm getting lost everywhere I turn.
Julia: Don't worry about it, okay? Take your time.
Carly: Thank you. Okay, pal, you stay here, okay? And you can play with this little boy here, all right?
Parker: I don't wanna.
Carly: Parker? Best behavior, please. I am so sorry.
Julia: Don't worry about it. Go change the baby. We'll be here.
J.J.: But don't take long. We're waiting for a friend.
Carly: Okay, I'll be right back. Why don't you introduce yourself, at least? Please.
Parker: I'm Parker.
Carly: I'll be right back. Thank you.
Jack: I thought I saw you before. You seemed -- familiar.
Martha: Sounds like too much time in the sun?
Jack: That's funny, because you remind me of someone, and I don't -- I don't exactly know who that someone else is.
Martha: Well, whoever she is, good luck finding her.
Jack: Thank you.
Julia: Hey, guys? You should probably put your toys away, 'cause Parker's mom is going to be back any second.
J.J.: Hey, what do you think you're doing?
Parker: That's mine!
J.J.: No, it isn't!
Parker: It is! Mommy!
Carly: What? What is it, sweetheart?
Parker: That's mine! He took it! Make him give it back!
Jordan: You should get some rest. Why don't you let me take you home?
Jennifer: And where exactly would "home" be, Jordan? It's not that suite that I shared with my mother. And it's certainly not the house you were sharing with Rosanna, now, is it?
Jordan: Look, Jen, I know how you must have felt when you found us together --
Jennifer: No, you don't have the slightest idea.
Jordan: We are not at Fairwinds anymore. That's over. There's nothing tying us together, Jen!
Jennifer: How do you expect me to believe any of that?
Jordan: I wish I could find a way to make you understand --
Jennifer: You know what? Even if you could, I'm not sure I want to understand. Your family is cursed, Jordan. And so is mine. Just try to find a way to make peace with that and move on. That's all either of us can do now.
Emily: Chris dropped by because there was all this leftover food from Alisonís shower --
Hal: Whatever, whatever. You can tell me about it later.
Emily: What is the matter with you?
Hal: Barbara's on the loose.
Emily: What?! I don't believe this! How? What happened?
Hal: We were in court. When she saw that things weren't going her way, that the tide was turning against her, she decided not to stay. And she jumped through a second story window.
Chris: Was she hurt?
Hal: Not enough to stop her. She hit some bushes, and she hit the ground running.
Emily: I don't believe this!
Hal: I've never seen her this bad, Emily. I have no idea what she's gonna do next. Listen, Chris -- I'm glad you're here. I need a favor.
Chris: Name it, anything.
Hal: Barbara might still be in town, laying low, waiting to escape. So I'd feel a lot better if Emily wasn't alone tonight.
Emily: Ooh, I don't need a sitter here.
Hal: Just for a few hours, until I get back, Emily.
Emily: You think that's she's a real -- Barbaraís a danger to me? She's gonna come after me?
Chris: Hal's right. I'm gonna stay.
Hal: All right, thanks. But, listen, in case I get hung up, this could turn into an all-nighter for me. Can you handle it?
Emily: I'm fine alone, really.
Hal: I would feel a lot better if Chris stayed.
Chris: I'd be glad to keep an eye on her.
Hal: Thanks. 'Night.
Emily: Good night. Call me when you hear something.
Hal: I will.
Lucy: I'm sorry I'm such a disappointment to you.
Lucinda: Oh, no, darling. No, you're not. It's your decision that I disapprove of. It doesn't make me love you any less.
Lucy: Tell me something. How is Dusty supposed to measure up when you never approve of anyone?
Lucinda: That's not true at all.
Lucy: You didn't think Holden was the right choice for Lily, and they've been together for years. I know you never approved of my father. And even Paul Ryan, with all of his money, was never good enough for you or anyone else in this family. I've always wanted you to be proud of me. But if you can't accept the decisions that I am making, then -- I can't accept this.
Lucinda: Oh, honey, no! I'm not an Indian giver. That was gift of love to you.
Lucy: If I kept it now, I would feel like I was breaking a promise.
Lucinda: Nonsense, nonsense. You're gonna get back on track. You have to. You're my namesake. There's a lot of me in you. I'm sorry about that, and I just know -- I know that you're gonna succeed in everything you do, despite this -- this detour.
Lucy: Then why can't you give me your blessing? I need you to love me enough to let me make my own choices, even if they seem like mistakes in your eyes. Can you do that for me, Grandmother, please?
Dusty: So, let's hear it, my man. How do you want to meet your maker? Jump, get pushed or take a bullet right between the eyes?
Craig: You can't be serious.
Dusty: Want to find out how serious? Give me an answer.
Craig: You're going to kill me?
Dusty: Or you can make it a do-it-yourself project. I told you, it's up to you.
Craig: After everything -- you're going to -- you're going to -- [Craig laughs] You kill me, Dusty! Oh!
Dusty: I'm going to, after you tell me what's so funny.
Craig: You want me to drop to my knees and blubber, huh?
Dusty: If your life means anything to you --
Craig: Hey, look -- I'll make it easy for you. Come on, macho. One little push. Huh? That's it. One little push. If you've got the conviction. I don't think you do.
Craig: Hey, guess what? I'm already dead. I've lost everything I cared about. So go ahead. Impress me, macho. Put me out of my misery. Oh, okay. You don't have the conviction, do you?
Dusty: You go near Lucy again, and I'll kill ya.
Craig: You need me alive, genius.
Dusty: No, I donít.
Craig: Anything happens to me, you're the first one they finger. And guess what? If Lucy ever suspects you of anything, she will smell you for the predator that you are. Come right back to me.
Dusty: Lucy doesn't give a damn about you.
Craig: No, she loves me, Dusty. I'm her father.
Dusty: She knows the truth. She knows the truth about you now.
Craig: The truth is, I am her father. She knows my flaws. She knows them all. She knows my flaws. She knows my shortcomings. But I will always be her daddy. And she will always be my little girl. A little angry, a little rebellious. And so she wastes a little time -- with worthless trash like you, Aaron Snyder. But she always comes back to Daddy.
Dusty: We'll see about that.
Craig: Yes, we will. And I'm guessing you're not gonna like it.
Emily: There's more danger in you spending the night with me than Barbara making some kind of surprise visit.
Chris: I made a promise to your husband.
Emily: So did I. And this is a disaster waiting to happen. So could you just go, please? Go!
Chris: Nothing is going to happen, okay? Look at you. You're trembling.
Emily: That woman terrifies me, okay? She's wanted me dead ever since I married Hal.
Chris: Hey, relax. Everything's gonna be --
Emily: I'm gonna get the gun.
Chris: What gun?
Emily: There's a gun in the garage. Hal keeps it in the garage locked up.
Chris: And you want to bring it in the house?
Emily: Yes, all right? I hate guns, but I'm not gonna let that lunatic hurt me again!
Chris: Fine, fine. Whatever's gonna make you feel better. We'll go get the gun.
Emily: I don't need you to come with me, okay? I'm fine.
Chris: You heard Hal. I'm your bodyguard. You're stuck with me all night.
Lucinda: What is with this guy?
Lucy: Have you forgotten how much he's done for me?
Lucinda: No! No. Now, look, and I will never forget. I'll never forget that he saved your life and brought you home safe to us. And I will always be grateful for that. But, you know, I won't forget other things about Dusty. I've known him since he was a cute kid. And like -- like the proverbial snow, he has drifted, dear. Think of the scandal, the money laundering with Lily!
Lucy: He's different now.
Lucinda: That remains to be seen.
Lucy: You don't even know him.
Lucinda: But I know you. And you are an honorable girl, and you've been blessed with many gifts. Not the least is a family that loves you. So don't take us -- any of us -- for granted.
Lucy: I'm not.
Lucinda: Oh, my darling, I just worry that, you know, in the future sometime, you and Mom and I will be sitting down, and you'll wish that you had taken another path. But I honor you. And I know that, in the future, I will shower you with praise as well as love for all the things you're going to accomplish. And I look forward to that time. I do, really. I mean that.
Julia: So Parker must have thought that J.J. took his Spongebob.
J.J.: It's mine!
Julia: And we know that because we put his initials on all of his toys for school. See?
Carly: Oh, you see, sweetheart? That's J.J.'s. You must've left your Spongebob guy at home.
Parker: Yeah. I guess. Sorry, J.J.
Carly: No, why don't you go ahead and shake his hand, okay? I'm sorry. Parker's been going through a lot. He lost somebody very important to him.
Julia: I'm sorry to hear that. No, don't worry about it. You have such beautiful children.
Carly: Thanks. Yeah, Sage here I think has a smile just like her Daddy.
Mike: Hey. Sorry I got held up.
Carly: Did you bring that surprise for Parker? Your timing is perfect.
Julia: We'd better go. But it was really nice chatting with you guys.
Carly: Yeah, you, too. All right, thanks.
Julia: See ya. Bye.
Mike: Look what I got for you, buddy.
Jack: Hey! What took you so long, buddy?
J.J.: Some weird kid we had to baby-sit.
Julia: It was a very nice family. We watched this little boy while the Mom took the baby to get a diaper change.
Jack: I'm glad you're back, buddy. I missed ya.
Julia: How you doin'?
Jack: All right.
Julia: No more dizzy spells?
Jack: No, I'm fine.
Julia: Good. Whatever did you do without us? Did you find that woman again, the one you thought you recognized?
Jack: I don't know what's real and what's imaginary anymore. It's like there's this memory trapped inside, just out of reach. I just can't put my finger on it yet.
Julia: You know I'm gonna do everything I can to help you.
Jack: You already are helping me. Are you kidding me? I just wish there was a way I could pay you back.
Julia: I have an idea! Shut up about it.
Lucy: I know, Mom. Why can't you just try to be happy for me? This is the right thing for me right now. You know, can I -- can I call you tomorrow? Yeah, I love you, too, Mom. Bye.
Dusty: Your mom thinks you're making a mistake, right?
Lucy: No, it's just the end of the world, and I'm throwing my life away.
Dusty: What do you think?
Lucy: I think they're wrong. I can live my life according to this plan that was designed the minute I took my first breath -- or I can be happy. And I choose happy.
Dusty: I saw your dad today.
Lucy: How bad did that get?
Dusty: I think he'll stay away from us, at least for the time being. So -- I guess it's just you and me.
Lucy: What would I do without you and me?
Dominick: Is Dusty Donovan around?
Craig: Dusty's out. Can I help you?
Dominick: Yeah, tell him Dominick Ramseyís looking for him.
Craig: All right, any message? Or will he know what this is about?
Dominick: Tell him his old friend from Chicago dropped by. If he's still looking to make some money in the fight game, give me a call. All right?
Dominick: Thank you.
Craig: Right. My. "Some money in the fight game"? What is Dusty up to now?
Julia: Okay, do we have everything?
Jack: I think so.
Julia: Let's see. We just -- we need some napkins, Jack. Wanna get the napkins?
Julia: All right. Come on, babe.
Parker: Is it all right if I go find that J.J. kid and show him what I got?
Mike: Knock yourself out, buddy.
Parker: Move! I have to find him! Move! Jack! Jack!
Security guard: Where do you think you're going, young man?
Parker: Move -- I saw him! Jack!
Security guard: I'm sorry. I can't let you do that.
Parker: Move! I have to find him! I saw Jack! Move!
Emily: Hal keeps it locked up in here somewhere.
Chris: All right.
Emily: Oh, my God. The lock -- there was a lock. Somebody broke the lock! The gun's not here! Somebody broke into the garage and took the gun! What are we gonna do?
Chris: Call Hal.
Emily: All right.
Barbara: Not another move! Now, you do exactly what I tell you to do. And no one will get hurt.
On the next "As the World Turns" --
Dusty: You should not have any problem finding a taker. I'm out of the scene, you know.
