Barbara: Who are you and what do you want?

Jordan: Jordan Sinclair, and you look like you could use a hand.

Barbara: Did my husband send you?

Jordan: Your husband?

Barbara: My ex-husband, did he send you? Because if he did, you can tell him it won't work. He can do anything he wants to me -- I've been kidnapped, I've been burned alive, I've been sent to jail and I'm still here. He can't hurt me.

Jordan: Good, but if you drop that folder, you're gonna break your toe and ruin your shoes.

Barbara: Who are you?

Jordan: I'm your ten o'clock. I'm a little early, but the security guard let me in when I showed him the fax that you sent me. May I? You are a dangerous woman, ms. Ryan.

Barbara: You've got a lot of nerve -- Mr. Sinclair.

Jordan: Which is why you're gonna hire me.

Kim: So, anyway, Holden was sitting over there talking to Lynn and Lily and I walked in. This was not good. So, I took Lily to Lucinda. Let's hope Lucinda was able to talk her down.

Bob: Remember when we thought that parenthood ended when they turned twenty-one?

Kim: Yeah, instead you end up with all the worries and none of the control. You know, I can't get over Chrisís reaction to Alisonís little adventure last night. She could have gotten them both killed.

Bob: You know, I've been wondering about all your concerns.

Kim: Yeah?

Bob: Well, I wonder if there's any truth to Susanís accusation. That you just can't find a way to like her daughter.

Kim: Honey, it has nothing to do with what Susan said. It's that Alison is an 18-year-old child. She's impulsive. She's a reckless, little girl.

Bob: Then maybe we should ask them to move out.

Chris: Alison.

Alison: Well, who cares. Are they gonna fire us?

Chris: No, but they might walk in on us.

Alison: So, then get me outta here and take me home.

Chris: Not so fast, first we have to make sure that those drugs that Clark gave you are out of your system.

Alison: Donuts!

Chris: Yes.

Alison: How did you know!

Chris: That you love donuts? Three guesses.

Alison: What is this.

Chris: It's for you. For bravery above and beyond the call.

Alison: Pin it on me? That's so cool.

Chris: I'm proud of you.

Alison: Even though I did something without talking to you about it first? And I know that it was wrong and I'm never, ever gonna do it again, but -- Chris, the thing is -- this is sort of my first real relationship and I'm not used to having to report in.

Chris: Alison, you don't have to report in.

Alison: No, I do -- and you have to check with me, too, because that's what you do when you're in a relationship and you love each other. You have to talk about all that important stuff, you know? What?

Chris: You surprise me. [Tom clears his throat] That can only be my brother.

Tom: I'm not gonna comment on your bedside manner, doctor.

Chris: I was examining the young lady's tonsils.

Tom: I'm just glad to see that the young lady is still in one piece. You gave us quite a scare.

Alison: I know, I'm sorry.

Tom: And I'm happy to report that Jack Snyder and I have been talking and we are going to press charges against Clark.

Alison: So they got him?

Tom: That all depends on you.

Holden: You got your helmet? Your pads?

Luke: It's all in the bag. Mom makes me clean my skates, before I put it all back in.

Holden: She's an organizer.

Luke: So, where is Mom?

Holden: She -- had to some errands.

Luke: She didn't come home last night. I woke up after everyone went to sleep and I went into your room and she wasn't there.

Holden: That's because she slept over your grandmaís.

Luke: Did you guys have a fight?

Holden: We had a -- disagreement about something. And that happens.

Luke: Dad, you keep saying that Mom needs some time to get over Aunt Rose's death and that she'll be better soon.

Holden: She will get better soon.

Luke: But, when? When is everything going to be okay again?

Lily: Now. Things are about to change.

Kim: They can't afford to move out. They're buying a condo -- which is totally ridiculous. God forbid they should listen to reason. Alison wants the moon and Chris is so beside it, he's determined to get it for her.

Bob: You know, if you keep fining fault with her --

Kim: I'm not finding fault. All right, I am, but --

Bob: Look, Chris loves her. So you're gonna have to find a way to shut your eyes to some of her short-comings. I mean, she does have some endearing qualities. Maybe she'll grow on you. Look how long it took my mother to accept you.

Kim: Oh -- okay -- okay, you're right. Oh, I hate it when you're right. [Both laugh] But I suppose that's why I married you.

Bob: Really, all these years I thought it was my noble profile. I've got to get to the hospital.

Kim: Honey, thank you.

Tom: Therefore, I will need you to testify against Clark at his trial.

Alison: Sure, if that's what it'll take to put him away. I just have to tell everyone what happened, right? I mean it's not a big deal.

Tom: Well, you've been in court before, Alison, you know what's involved.

Alison: I just have to tell them the truth. I mean, well, I just have to discuss it with Chris and -- can I get back to you, Tom?

Tom: Not a problem. I need to interview Lucy and Megan, anyway.

Alison: Oh, and don't forget Madison, because that's Clarkís girlfriend from last fall and I know that she hates him.

Chris: I'm just going to have a word with my brother. I'll be right back. Hey, you're afraid that they're gonna go after Alison on the stand.

Tom: Well, she's got some skeletons in her closet, Chris. Lying about her involvement with the fire at the Snyder farm, letting Will Munson take the blame, and the prison term.

Chris: Yeah, they'll tear her apart, you're right.

Tom: If I can line up the other girls, then Alisonís testimony could corroborate the pattern.

Chris: And if you can't?

Tom: Well, let's not get ahead of ourselves.

Alison: So, boyfriend, do I do the right thing and put Clark away?

Chris: My honest answer? I don't think you should testify, Alison.

Jordan: It's a flaw, I know, but I can't help it I'm chronically prompt. Thank you. I'm sorry if I startled you.

Barbara: I've survived worse, but I have a very long day. So, let's get down to it, all right? Do you have a resume?

Jordan: I appreciate you taking the time to see me. When I was finishing up my MBA --

Barbara: You were how old?

Jordan: Well, I finished high school early. College, even earlier. The business degree -- ahead of time.

Barbara: Chronically prompt.

Jordan: Yes, and eager to get a job in the fashion industry.

Barbara: Why?

Jordan: Well, I never had any money growing up. Never anything new. So, I always used to notice what people were wearing. Not just the clothes, but what it did to them. You know, people treat you different if you dress the part. Add to it that fashion's the only business that you can re-invent yourself every three months and it was obvious.

Barbara: Why B.R.O.?

Jordan: I made a list of every fashion house in the industry. A lot of them have sold out to conglomerates, which didn't interest me. But, family-run firms? If the designer still had juice, they stayed on the list. Which I inventoried -- strengths and weaknesses. I'm not gonna lie to you. I want to make an impact. And B.R.O. fits the profile. It's family-run, great designer and it's in trouble.

Barbara: And you're just the man to save the day?

Jordan: Well, I wouldn't be here if I didn't see an opportunity.

Barbara: Given your tact, I'm not surprised that you're still looking for a job.

Jordan: I don't want to waste your time, or mine. If you decide to hire me, we'll have to agree about what I'm here to do. Which means that we'll have to agree about the company.

Barbara: Okay, Mr. Sinclair, I'm listening. You tell me why is my company in trouble.

Luke: I didn't mean to make you feel bad, Mom, it's just --

Lily: You didnít. I know, I know, things are not back to normal, but -- they will be. I have some ideas that I want to talk to your father about, and then I'll talk you and Faith.

Luke: Promise?

Lily: I promise. I promise, I promise.

Luke: Okay.

Holden: I'm glad you came home.

Lily: I'm sorry about last night. It's just that that blindsided me.

Holden: I know.

Lily: You have every right to talk to dr. Michaels.

Holden: Well, I really just wanted to get some information. I would have never forced you to do anything that you didn't want to do.

Lily: I know, but I'm glad it happened. Because I realized some things had to change. If you're afraid to leave me with the children --

Holden: Not afraid --

Lily: You had a baby-sitter come over here while I was home.

Holden: I called the sitter because I really just thought that you could rest. And I didn't want you to run off over to rose's place.

Lily: I don't go to Rose's to get away from you -- or the children. I go there because it makes me feel close to her. And even that's not working anymore. And I'm really tired.

Holden: That's because you don't sleep.

Lily: I try to sleep. I just lie there, staring at the ceiling. And I'm sorry. I really do, I really wish things could be different. I wish that I could get over this, but I canít. And I can now -- I know what it's everybody. So --

Holden: Honey, we all love you.

Lily: And I know you're trying to help me. You and my Mom -- trying to get me to start that foundation --

Holden: I don't think that was such a great idea.

Lily: Hey, no. I did not give it a chance.

Holden: Well, how could you? Dusty -- he took off.

Lily: Doesn't matter. I just have to deal with the things that I've been feeling. I just don't know how to do it, because my heart is broken. And I don't know if I can heal it. But I have to try.

Holden: So, what are you saying?

Lily: I'm going to check myself into this hospital. Today.

Jordan: The word on the street? Is that the new, improved B.R.O. is headed for disaster.

Barbara: That's a rather vague assessment.

Jordan: Well, look, everybody reads the papers. Everyone knows about Rose D'Angelo's death, your son will --

Barbara: You know --

Jordan: Your credibility took a major hit.

Barbara: We're dealing with that. We have a PR campaign that's been launched --

Jordan: Right, and the first interview you gave to Claudette Roy was hijacked by Lily Snyder.

Barbara: And you would deal with this how?

Jordan: I would step out in front. The industry needs to see a new face. If you put me out there pitching the product, I promise you, sales will take off. If you have any questions about my ability to promote a line or produce a show -- this is Milan, last fall. Seventh on Seventh. Tokyo. If you want reference letters --

Barbara: No, no, no, no, it's all right. I only have one question for you.

Jordan: Anything.

Barbara: When can you start?

Jordan: Are you're serious?

Barbara: Absolutely.

Jordan: Now. Whenever -- whatever works for you --

Barbara: Well, now works for me. You'll have to meet my son and my daughter, Paul and Jennifer and I'm sure that they'll be as impressed with you as I am.

Jordan: Thank you, Ms. Ryan.

Barbara: Please, Barbara. You made some excellent points, and I appreciate your candor, and your punctuality. [Phone ringing] And if you wouldn't you mind? I won't have you answering phones, I promise, but Blaine is late today. I'm ready to have her head and I have a lot to attend to.

Jordan: Not a problem, whatever you need. Hello, B.R.O. The dye lot number? Um -- yeah, I'm going to have to take your name and number -- um-hmm, okay. I'll have Blaine get back to you. Wow. You're even more beautiful in person than you are on the runway.

Jennifer: And who the hell are you?

Lucy: Hi, if you're looking for Paul, he's not here. I'm just the houseguest.

Tom: Actually, I was looking for you. May I come in?

Lucy: Sure. Why did you want to talk to me about?

Tom: Well, we have Clark Watson in custody. I was aware that you had a conversation with detective Snyder about an incident that involved Clark.

Lucy: And Detective Snyder talked to him and that was the end of it.

Tom: Right, see, well what happened to you wasn't an isolated incident. He has approached other women, drugged them, assaulted them -- just like he assaulted you. You see, I believe this guy is a criminal and I'm going to prosecute him. So, that's why I'm here. I'll need you to testify.

Lucy: Well, I am glad you caught him, but I couldn't possibly stand up in front of those people and talk about what happened. It would be humiliating.

Tom: Yeah, well, see, what you're feeling -- that's Clarkís fault.

Lucy: No, it was me. I never should've gone out with him. I didn't even like him. It was stupid.

Tom: There's no harm in pursuing a friendship even if you're unsure of your feelings at the time. What this guy did was criminal. You were lucky, Lucy. Someone stepped in before you were hurt, but you could have landed in the hospital just like Alison Stewart.

Lucy: Alison's in the hospital?

Tom: He kidnapped her, drugged her and was attempting to rape her when the police showed up.

Lucy: Oh, my God is she --

Tom: She's gonna be fine, but she needs your help. Your testimony -- along with Alisonís will allow me to convict this guy so he can't do this to another girl. Lucy?

Alison: Why don't you want me to testify?

Chris: Look, first off, it's not up to me.

Alison: Just tell me, okay? I'm a big girl. If I don't agree, I will let you know.

Chris: Okay, Ali, I just feel, like, after everything you've been through -- why put yourself through a trial? When it's not even your problem. If anybody should testify, it should be Lucy.

Aaron: Hi, Ali. How you doing?

Alison: I'm okay. I'm just a little tired.

Aaron: Yeah, ah, Chris, I'm -- I'm really sorry that Alison got hurt. And I'm sorry you got hurt, too. You doing okay, too?

Chris: Yeah, we'll be okay.

Aaron: Well, the good news is -- is Clark is goin' down. You know, with the tape Curtis made and Alisonís testimony, this sucker's dead meat.

Chris: You know, Aaron, Alisonís not sure if she's gonna testify.

Aaron: What? You have to --

Chris: She doesn't have to do anything.

Nurse #1: Sorry, Alison, the lab needs some more blood.

Alison: I'm gonna have so much sympathy for these people in hospital beds when I come back to work.

Chris: Let's give her some privacy. Look, Aaron, she has every right to refuse to testify and I don't want you pressuring her.

Aaron: I never pressured her. Alison wanted to help Lucy.

Chris: No, no, she wanted to help you, because she feels guilty about lying to you about the baby. Okay? You used her, Aaron, so you could score points with Lucy. All right, she was abused, drugged and she could have been killed. All so you could be a hero.

Holden: Have you called Dr. Michaels? Should we go see her?

Lily: No, no, I made the arrangements myself.

Holden: Okay. So, when do we need to be there?

Lily: No, I want my mother to take me. You need to be here. You need to reassure the children. Holden?

Holden: I think maybe it's better if I go and your Mother stays here with the children.

Lily: I have to do this on my own. You want to help me -- you are helping me. The only reason I can even do this is because I know you'll be here, Holden, for the children. Please don't look at me like that --

Holden: Like what?

Lily: With this pressure, there's just pressure. Pressure for me to get better. And expecting me to get better. I don't know if I have any guarantees at that.

Holden: Lily, things are never gonna be the way they were, life is always changing. We just have to remember we need to hand on to what's good -- our marriage, the kids -- and just know that things'll get better.

Lily: I know. I gotta go.

Holden: You promised Luke --

Lily: I know, I know. Can you get Luke? And Faith? And I'll say good-bye to them and then I'm gonna go.

Holden: You've packed already?

Lily: I don't need much. And I had a bag at my motherís. So -- and could you not wake Natalie. Oh, I'm so sorry, Holden. I hate lying to you.

Lily: I know things have been hard since Aunt Rose died. I haven't been a lot of fun. All right? So I'm going to go away for a little while so I can rest and get some energy. And you'll be here with Daddy. And I'll be home really soon.

Luke: Where are you going?

Lily: It's just some place I can relax -- take long walks. I should go. I really should go.

Holden: Luke, why don't you take Faith upstairs and get her dressed. And I'll take you guys over to the stables and we'll feed the horses.

Faith: I'll get the carrots!

Luke: Dad said upstairs.

Lily: It's okay.

Holden: Why don't I call the hospital, and I'll give them all of our insurance information.

Lily: I took care of all of that. I did.

Holden: You know, I really hate the fact that youíre just taking off like this.

Lily: I wouldn't go if I had a choice, Holden.

Holden: Just call me when you get there.

Lily: As soon as I get settled in.

Holden: Let me know when I can visit.

Lily: Sure.

Holden: And promise me that you're going to come home back soon.

Lily: Real soon. Get my purse. Real soon.

Jordan: I'm sorry. I usually don't trip all over myself. It's just -- you look so different -- better, if that's possible. Since I saw you on the runway in Milan.

Jennifer: You were in Milan?

Jordan: The Riccioli show.

Jennifer: What were you doing at the Riccioli show?

Jordan: Drooling. Over the clothes, of course.

Jennifer: Well, where did our temp agency find someone so well-traveled?

Jordan: Sorry. Jordan Sinclair.

Jennifer: And you're here because?

Barbara: Oh, good. You've met my daughter. Jennifer, meet Jordan Sinclair, my new right hand.

Aaron: Alison agreed to go after Clark because it was the right thing to do.

Chris: Yes, and I'm proud of her for that.

Aaron: Then get off her case and let her testify.

Chris: It's not up to me.

Aaron: Yes, you're right. It's not. It's her call.

Chris: Right, and since we both agree about that, there's no reason for you to hang around and lean on her.

Aaron: Chris, let me tell you something. All right, Alison knew she'd have to testify. We all did. All right? Otherwise we wouldn't have done it. The whole point was to put this kid away.

Chris: Look, we can argue about the point of it later. But for now? Stay away from her.

Aaron: Are you tellin' me to back off? Because that you can call that either.

Lucy: Hey, I just heard about Alison.

Aaron: Lucy.

Lucy: Can she have visitors?

Aaron: Yeah --

Nurse #1: I'll let you know ASAP.

Chris: Thank you, Mindy. I'm sure that she would love to see you, Lucy. Look who I found.

Alison: Hi, Lucy.

Lucy: Are you okay?

Alison: I'm fine.

Lucy: I'm so sorry you got hurt. I wish you would have talked to me before you got involved in all this. I never would have let you put yourself at risk.

Alison: Clark is a disgusting pig and he deserves to get put away. And plus I figured that I owed Aaron one. He wanted to make sure that Clark paid for what he did to you, Lucy.

Emily: Hey, where is my crazy sister?

Alison: Hey, Emily.

Emily: Hey, honey. Let me see you. Hi, Lucy. You were so brave and so generous. Oh, I'm so proud of you. If you ever do anything like that again, I'm going to kill you. Oh, honey.

Kim: I'm looking for the girl of the hour.

Alison: Mrs. Hughes?!

Kim: Hi, kiddo. You certainly had a quite a time, haven't you? And you took a great deal of a risk last night. I hope you think twice before you ever do anything like that again. But, having said that, you showed a great deal of courage. And this little guy agrees.

Alison: Oh, wow. I guess that this is what it feels like when you actually do something right.

Emily: Oh, honey.

Lucy: Hey, give me a call when you get out of here.

Alison: Sure.

Emily: You know, I'm gonna put these in water for you.

Lucy: Are you busy right now?

Aaron: No.

Lucy: Good. We need to talk.

Aaron: So what did you want to talk about?

Lucy: Us.

Aaron: Okay, so you're ticked. Okay, I get it. You didn't want me to go after Clark.

Lucy: Alison could have been raped. She could have been killed.

Aaron: Yeah, but she wasn't, and now Clarkís going away.

Lucy: Aaron, do you have any idea who Clarkís father is?

Aaron: I don't care who Clarkís father is, okay? His son is a criminal.

Lucy: And he won't do a day of time. So all you've managed to do is hurt Alison and Chris and embarrass me.

Aaron: I don't understand you. I mean, this kid tries to rape you and you're cool with this?

Lucy: Of course I'm not.

Aaron: Then why are you being so negative? This is our chance here. The D.A. is willing to prosecute.

Lucy: Yeah, if I'm willing to humiliate myself in public -- which, I'm sorry, I'm not.

Aaron: Look, Lucy -- look, I know this is hard, okay?

Lucy: But what -- I'll thank you for it someday?

Aaron: No, no.

Lucy: Look, I understand that you did this because you love me. But I asked you not to.

Aaron: Whoa -- where is this coming from?

Lucy: I'm just sick of everyone deciding what's best for me -- first my father and now you.

Aaron: Well, if you care about somebody, you try to protect them.

Lucy: Yeah, but I asked you not to protect me. I need to take care of myself right now. It's very important. Paul thinks it's the only way I'll ever be independent.

Aaron: Paul?

Lucy: He's a friend.

Aaron: Since when?

Lucy: Since Rosanna suggested that I talk to him. He supports people without trying to take over their lives.

Aaron: I am not trying to take over your life.

Lucy: Well, that's good. Because you and my father have let me down for the last time. I'm on my own now and that is the way it has to be.

Emily: You are going to be an amazing witness. With your testimony, Clark won't stand a chance. All right, look, I gotta run. I gotta find Mom, and see if she can pick up Daniel for me. But I'll be in touch.

Alison: I'm hoping I'm home by then. I mean, at Chris' parents.

Emily: I'll find you, sweetie. Bye.

Alison: I'm really sorry that I couldn't explain things the other night when I was dressed like that. But I will never do anything like that again. I promise. So you don't have worry, Mrs. Hughes.

Kim: Two things -- you do have to promise to keep that promise. And I think it's about time you started calling me Kim.

Alison: Really?

Kim: I insist.

Bob: Alison has to take a nap now. She didn't get much sleep last night.

Alison: I am a little tired.

Chris: Okay, I'll check back soon. Mom -- ?

Kim: Yeah.

Chris: I just wanted to thank you.

Kim: What for?

Chris: Well, for being such a good sport about everything. And for making Alison feel like part of the family.

Kim: Well, I just hope the two of you have a chance to enjoy life a little bit.

Chris: Yeah.

Kim: There's been a bit too much tension.

Chris: Don't worry. As soon as she gets back home, we're definitely kicking back.

Kim: Good for you, kiddo. See you later.

Tom: You awake?

Alison: Sure. Come in.

Tom: Listen, I had chance to talk with the other girls and I'm going to need you to testify, Alison. I know it's not what you want but we have no choice.

Barbara: Honey, I'm sure I mentioned Jordan a few weeks ago. Remember he sent me a letter requesting an interview?

Jennifer: The MBA --?

Barbara: Mmm, and then some. Credentialed, experienced -- he's been producing and running shows in Europe. He knows this industry inside and out. And he has great perception. He made some rather astute observations about the problems our family has been having and our image. I mean, I couldn't not hire him. He's too media-savvy.

Jennifer: Well, Mr. Sinclair, you've certainly swept my mother off her feet.

Jordan: Hardly. She has me answering phones.

[Barbara laughs]

Barbara: Yeah, but he's been very sweet about it.

[Phone rings]

Jordan: Speaking of which, why don't I go --

Barbara: If that is Blaine, you tell her I want her head in a handbag.

[Phone rings] Isn't he great?

Jennifer: Does Paul know about him?

Barbara: Honey, Paul and I had a very long conversation just last night. How he knows that I'm the one who's in control of B.R.O. That means if I want to hire an assistant, that's my prerogative.

Jennifer: And you bought that?

Barbara: Jen, your brother was completely sincere.

Jennifer: Did you get to the part where Paul asked why the hell you were hiring someone to do work that he's used to doing? Mother, he's not going to stand for this. You're making a big mistake.

Jennifer: Mother, you know how fragile this family is? If you throw a stranger into the mix, the whole thing could fall apart.

Barbara: Let me tell you something. How many times to I have to say it, there's nothing as important to me as my family. I will do nothing to jeopardize it. That's why I hired Jordan, so we don't have to handle the press, we don't have to deal with the Lily snider of the world. He can do it as an extra set of hands, Jen, and a very keen mind, I might add --

Jennifer: Mother, do you remember what this is all about? This is for Will. We cannot take any chances.

Barbara: This whole thing is a risk, honey. Relaunching B.R.O. -- Dealing with everything -- living together, working together -- it's all a risk.

Jennifer: He's smarmy.

Barbara: He's ambitious. And I like it. That means he'll work hard.

Jennifer: He's snowing you, Mother. And if you'd stop listening to the flattery long enough to think about what we really need, you'd see that hiring him is the beginning of the end.

Aaron: You were attacked. Why won't you stand up for yourself?

Lucy: I am standing up for myself. By telling you to back off, stop defending me. I'm not yours to defend anymore. We're over. I'm sorry to put it like that, but you weren't listening to me.

Aaron: You don't love me?

Lucy: After they came and took Cabot away, I remember my father pleading with Rosanna, begging her not to leave him because he still loves her. Love's not the point, Aaron, not when you use it to hurt people.

Aaron: Lucy, please, let's talk about this, please?

Lucy: I have nothing let to say. Bye, Aaron.

Emily: Chris, have you seen my Mom?

Chris: I think she's with a patient. Do you actually have a minute? There's something I wanted to talk to you about.

Emily: Yeah, sure. What's up?

Chris: How's your head? Are you okay?

Emily: Yeah, I'm fine. What's going on?

Chris: Well, uh, it's about Alison. I don't know if she's gonna testify.

Emily: What do you mean? I thought that was the point, to get evidence that would stand up in court against court.

Chris: Well, yes. But, with Alisonís criminal record, you know the jail time -- I know they're not supposed to bring that stuff up in court, but they always find a way.

Emily: But ally's tough, Chris.

Chris: No, Emily, not so much -- not since she lost the baby.

Emily: Okay, look, I'm not saying it wouldn't be hard on her, but to let a rapist walk? Chris, you don't know what its like, what women -- what they go through, how it changes their lives. Believe me; testifying is the right thing to do. And Alison knows it.

Alison: Lucy was just in here --

Tom: And she won't testify.

Alison: And what about Madison or Megan?

Tom: They are both afraid to stand up in court.

Alison: So if I don't testify, he walks.

Tom: Given his family, and his connections, if you don't testify, Alison, they're gonna have the charges dropped.

Alison: I know why they're afraid. That's what it feels like when some guy throws you against a bed, and you realize that you can't fight him, because he's too strong. And that is the worst feeling in the world. You're powerless. And even worse, you're worthless. But I'm not worthless. And I'm not gonna let him get away with this. So, tom, I will testify.

[Phone rings]

Holden: Hello? Lucinda, hi. Are you on the road? Lily said you were driving her. To the hospital. Lily's checking herself into Deerbrook Hospital. You haven't discussed it? Oh my God. Lily, what are you doing? Where are you?

[Knock on door]

Dusty: Hey? You all right? What are you doing here?

Lily: I lied to my family. If I told Holden that I was coming to see you, he would have tried to stop me. So I lied, and I told him that I was checking myself into a hospital, a mental institution. To get over my grief. But I can't do it. I don't know how to stop it. Please help me.

Dusty: Help you how?

Lily: Bring Rose back. Please, bring her back now.

On the next "As the World Turns" Ė

Alison: What is the real reason you don't want me to testify?

Chris: What do you mean?

Alison: Is it because you're afraid I'll get hurt, or are you a little bit ashamed of me yourself?

Dusty: No, I'm not attacking you, I'm just telling you, if Rose were here, she would tell you to stop feeling so damn sorry for yourself.

Jennifer: You, you can't sit. You have to go over to the office right now.

Paul: And do what?

Jennifer: Have Mom throw this guy out on his kiester.
