Rose: Hey, Jack told me that you wanted to see me. I was here when they brought you in the first time. But I didn't know if you were ready to see people, you know, big crowds.
Carly: Yes. It's good to see you, Rose.
Rose: You, too. You look --
Carly: Who asked you? I'm so glad you got out.
Rose: Oh, you, too. You ever hear the one about two old broads? They walk into this bar --
Carly: Don't you mean three?
Rose: Yeah, three. I guess there's no punch line without Emily.
Simon: We can't stay here anymore. Katie, we have to leave Oakdale tonight.
Katie: We can't leave Oakdale!
Simon: Why not? Why not? What's holding us here?
Katie: We just found a dead body. You don't just find a body and blow out of town.
Simon: Why not?
Katie: Because -- because it shows a complete lack of respect for the corpse.
Simon: Trust me -- trust me, I'm sure the corpse will not mind.
Katie: Yeah, well, the cops might.
Simon: Come on, think about it. You, me, the open road, no strings. We can do whatever we want, whenever we want.
Katie: Yes, but this is our home.
Simon: Our home is with each other. It doesn't matter if we have a roof over our head or nothing but the great blue sky.
Katie: But we love this place. I love this place. Okay. If we're gonna leave for a little while, then we should -- I don't know, make arrangements. Somebody should watch the place.
Simon: Who? And why? Why? To watch the leaky ceiling, the warped floor boards? Oh, yeah, you're right. Maybe we should get a peeling paint sitter.
Katie: No, just listen. I'll call Margo, and she can --
Simon: No, no, no.
Katie: Why not? She's my sister.
Simon: Katie -- she's a cop.
Jack: Carly's lying in a hospital bed, not knowing what her life is going to look like. And here you are -- the two of you. I hope you're proud of yourselves.
Craig: And what are you now, den mother?
Jack: It's classic, Craig. Carly shows up damaged goods, and you go after the next best thing.
Rosanna: Next best?
Jack: Tell her. Tell her. You sized up her net worth and the rest of the package and decided you were gonna trade Carly in for a newer model.
Lucy: Is something wrong? I heard voices.
Jack: Hey. Lucy, I'm sorry. It got a little heated in here.
Craig: Jack was just bringing Parker back from seeing his mom. Would you mind taking Parker over to Rosanna's suite?
Rosanna: That's all right. I'll take care of it.
Craig: No, you stay. Please, sweetness? Thanks.
Jack: Good night, buddy. I'll see you soon.
Craig: Buenas noches, caballero.
Rosanna: Good night, sweetheart.
Craig: Proud of yourself, Jack? Lucy must have heard your babbling.
Jack: Was she in there the whole time you were making these moves on Rosanna? Well, you can add her to the list of fallout, Craig, right behind Carly. You don't give a damn about either one of them. Carly's hurt and vulnerable. You couldn't find an easier mark? You had to go after her own sister?!
Caleb: Aaron was supposed to be at the farm an hour ago.
Holden: Sorry, we came back to get his bike, and then --
Caleb: Yeah, he won't be needing it.
Holden: Right now is not a good time for an attitude.
Aaron: Abigail's mother was in trouble. We were just checking on her.
Caleb: That's not your problem. Now, let's go. We've got an early flight back to Seattle. I've already packed your stuff.
Caleb: What did you say?
Aaron: I'm not going back to Seattle. I'm staying here.
John: What happened?
Nurse #2: He was stable, then he went into v-fib.
John: Get blood gases, and get the cart.
[Hum of monitor]
Tech: Charge 360. Clear!
Jake: Hey, gorgeous - what do you say we blow this popsicle stand?
Nurse #2: He's still in v-fib.
John: Give him epi four milligram. Did we get the blood gas yet?
Nurse #2: He's tacking.
Tech: I've got him intubated.
Nurse #2: Epi is in.
John: Okay, let's shock him again.
Charge 360. Clear the bed. Clear.
Molly: You want me to leave here with you?
Nurse #2: Still v-fib.
Jake: Nah, it's your dream. You can do whatever you want.
John: Get another epi ready.
Tech: Do you want a bicarb?
Molly: I am so in love with you.
John: Clear the bed.
Jake: Come on, let's go.
John: What was his last blood gas?
Nurse #2: 4.1.
John: Charge 360. Why isn't he responding?
Molly: It's all clear, McKinnon.
Jake: Yeah, it's a slow night.
Molly: Our night. I rented the place out.
Jake: Oh, Mabel can be bought?
Molly: Only by her favorite customer. So, are you hungry?
Do you want me to dream up a plate of red hots or four-alarm chili or the
ever popular wings o' fire?
Jake: No, not hungry.
Molly: What? The champion of the tube steak eating contest at
Mabel's is not hungry?
Jake: Do you know what I want?
Molly: Tell me.
Jake: I want to stand next to the woman I love and I want to feel her heart
beat next to mine. I want to dance.
John: What have we got?
Tech: We've got a sinus rhythm.
John: No pulse. Start compressions.
Nurse #2: Dr. Dixon, it's been a long time.
John: He's young. We have to keep trying. Get the placement pads on him.
Tech: Charge 360. Clear!
Abigail: Dr. Hughes, what are they doing?
Bob: They're trying to stabilize him.
Abigail: Should I wake Molly up?
Bob: No, no, wait, wait. No, don't wake her. She can't see him now anyway. We'll wake Molly when they're through working on Jake.
Nurse #2: Still v-fib.
John: Charge again, 360.
Caleb: We have to get back.
Aaron: To what?!
Caleb: You can't keep running away from your problems.
Aaron: You're the one with the problem!
Caleb: I'm the one that kept you out of jail.
Aaron: I didn't do anything.
Caleb: You broke into a house.
Holden: Aaron, what's he talking about?
Aaron: They said I took some stuff, but that was a lie.
Caleb: I've explained the situation to Holden. He knows I took care of things in Seattle. Now you've missed enough school. It's time to go back.
Holden: All right, let's just try to calm down here for a second. I'm sure that we can come up with another solution if we try.
Aaron: Never mind. I'll go back. I'm gonna leave Luke a note.
Holden: Don't sneak out the back.
Aaron: I won't.
Holden: I mean it. I'm gonna talk to Caleb, maybe we can work something out.
Caleb: I don't need your permission to take my son home.
Holden: No, you don't. But when I agreed to let you and Julie raise him, I did it because I was under the assumption that your home was a lot more stable than what I could provide. If that's changed, then I think I have a right to know. Is there something going on with you and Julie? Why doesn't Aaron want to live with you guys anymore?
Simon: I've got a great idea. We'll just close our eyes, we'll pick a spot on the globe, then that's where we'll go -- anywhere in the world. Morocco, Tasmania.
Katie: Okay. And what do I pack?
Simon: It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. 'Cause we'll just buy things as we go along the way. You still got the money from your video, right?
Katie: Simon, that was for our future.
Simon: This is our future. Our future is now -- right now, this moment.
Katie: How much are we gonna need?
Simon: All of it. Or none of it. None of it. We can stay at the richest hotels or we can camp out in the middle of nowhere. It doesn't matter.
Katie: Where no one will find me -- will find us. Where no one will find us.
Simon: That's the idea.
Katie: Kinda like a vacation.
Simon: Sure. Sure, exactly like a vacation.
Katie: Okay. Then why don't we call a travel agent like normal people?
Simon: Because we are not normal people, Katie. That's what makes us us.
Katie: Well, us just found a dead body.
Us lied to the cops about why we're at the Old Mill in the first place.
Simon: I explained that.
Katie: Well, explain why we found her body and not some other nosy kids? Explain the nightmares I'm gonna have for the next ten years because of seeing that body. Explain to me, while you're at it, who killed her.
Simon: I have told you that over and over and over again, Katie. It was Dahlia, okay? Dahlia -- it was Dahlia. Why are you looking at me like that?
Katie: Like what?
Simon: Like I'm a cold-blooded killer.
Rose: Did they tell you that I tried to see when you were first brought in?
Carly: Yeah. I'm sorry, Rose, I -- I wasn't ready.
Rose: Ah, I know. I pulled down all my shades in my house when I got back, believe me. But then Jack rang me up and said I could come by. What changed your mind?
Carly: Jake McKinnon was shot tonight.
Rose: What? Why? Is he okay?
Carly: He's in intensive care. Some psycho kidnapped Molly.
Rose: Was it that red-headed broad from the trial?
Carly: He -- Jake paid the ransom. But, somehow, everything went wrong. And they don't even know if he's gonna live.
Rose: It's like my mama always said, live domani -- today.
Carly: And she was right. That's why we have to start right now. We have to start this very minute and try to figure out a way to bring Emily home.
Rose: Can we put Weston and Steinbeck through the meat grinder while we're at it?
Carly: Yeah! That will be the fun part.
Carly: Maybe we can even get him to cough up Barbara.
Rose: Please tell me you're joking.
Carly: No. Rose, that woman traded her life for mine.
Rose: Some trade! That witch is the reason your face looks like the south end of an elephant. You didn't know this? That Barbara Ryan was behind us getting kidnapped? That she and Steinbeck sent us up to the spa from hell? Before you could say, "who's your granny," we were toast.
Jack: If I were you, I wouldn't take anything that he has to say at face value.
Rosanna: I'm not a child, Jack. I can take care of myself. I find Craig amusing. And I enjoy being amused, that's all.
Jack: Do you think Barbara was amused when Craig tried to swindle her out of her last dime?
Craig: That's a reach, Jack.
Rosanna: I get it. Craig is a selfish opportunist who will use me and move on. I told you the same thing about Carly once. Remember?
Craig: Do you feel used, Jack?
Rosanna: You don't have to warn me against Craig. I know the type. I've lived the type. They all come with little red flags. So you can relax, there's no plot against Carly. Nobody's out to hurt her. And I'm certainly not gonna fall in love with somebody like Craig Montgomery. Truthfully, I'm not sure I'm even in like.
Carly: So Paul lost you. And Hal lost Emily. And our kids -- she took us away from our kids.
Rose: She didn't give a rat's keester about Daniel -- or Parker. And my poor pop almost had a stroke when he found out I fell off the face of the earth.
Carly: We gotta do something.
Rose: I know.
Carly: We have to find Emily. She's probably going out of her mind right now. I know, I've been there. So have you.
Rose: Yeah, I know. But don't you worry. We're gonna make sure that Emily hears Daniel's voice again. Hey, what's that?
Carly: It's just a sketch. I've been trying to remember those guys from the spa.
Rose: Yeah, yeah, yeah. But this guy -- I mean, this guy, remember, his nose was too big for his face? Kinda like --
Carly: You remember him, Rose?
Carly: You do?
Carly: Well, come on. Talk to me. I will draw as many of them as we can remember, then we'll give the sketches to Jack.
Rose: Like mug shots?
Carly: Exactly. And if any one of them has a record, he can find out. One of these guys might have Emily right now. So come on, you old broad, let's nail these monsters and let's bring Emily home.
Rose: All right, all right, okay! Let's -- let's start with that guy that I called Mr. Pecs, you know? With the shoulders like Mt. Rushmore? And then he had a scar on the right side of his neck.
Craig: Okay, Jack. Rosanna's been warned. You're still the hero in Carly's life. Now, it's late. Would you mind leaving?
Jack: I'm taking Parker with me. Carly wouldn't want him with Rosanna.
Craig: She doesn't know?
Jack: She thinks he's still at John's.
Rosanna: Look, I am the boy's closest relative. And until Hal is completely recovered, or Carly can take care of him herself, he stays with me.
Jack: No, Carly wouldn't want that, Rosanna.
Rosanna: If Carly's half the mother you say she is, she would want what's best for her child.
Jack: Well, what if what's best for Parker is best for Craig, too?
Craig: Feeling guilty, Jack? Holding out on Carly?
Jack: No. Carly has been through hell and back, and you haven't made matters much easier for her, Craig. She was tortured for months. You showed up at the hospital, take one look at her, and when she's not the Carly you once knew, when she's not the Carly you could parade around like a trophy, you work your way back here and make moves on her sister!
Craig: Well, not all of us are as perfect as you, Jack. I was actually just a little bit less than happy seeing Carly in that particular condition.
Jack: No. Carly isn't a condition! Look, I don't care what your game is anymore, Craig, but if you hurt Carly, if either one of you have any intention of using Parker, I will make your lives miserable! And that's a promise.
Rosanna: Well, is he right, Craig? Am I just another player in your latest high stakes game?
Lucinda: Bob, how's Jake? I got a phone call from one of my reporters.
Bob: Well, he got through the surgery okay, but he has some post-op complications.
Lucinda: Post-op complications? Is he gonna be all right?
Bob: John's with him now. Molly and Abigail are in ICU. They could probably use your support.
Holden: Caleb, everyone goes through bad times. I'm not trying to judge you or Julie. I just want you to be honest with me.
Caleb: Julie and I -- there have been some problems. Some nights the house is like a war zone. Julie stays out all hours. If it's not her work, she's out with the girls. It's like she's looking for something that I can't give her anymore.
Holden: Have you tried counseling?
Caleb: Yeah. It did absolutely no good. Aaron's answer is to check out. He shows up only when he has to. He does little or nothing at school.
Holden: Well, what about his friends? Do they hang out at the house?
Caleb: No. They "hook up" someplace. Whatever the hell that means. Look, Holden, just give me one more chance to try to get through to him. If that doesn't pan out, then we can talk about options. Please, he's my son. Would you give up on Luke?
Holden: I'm sorry. Hold on a sec. Hello?
Lucinda: Holden, it's me.
Holden: What did you find out? Is Molly okay?
Lucinda: Molly is okay. And the woman, the kidnapper, she's dead. And Jake -- this is the bad news. He took a bullet trying to save Molly's life.
Holden: Is he okay?
Lucinda: It's critical. And Abigail is here and rather fragile.
Holden: I'm on my way. Come on, let's go. I want to take you down to Memorial.
Caleb: What are you trying to pull here, Holden? I told you, Aaron and I are going home, and there's not a damn thing you can do about it!
Abigail: Dr. Hughes, what is going on? Dr. Dixon's not come out here. No one's told me anything.
Lucinda: Take it easy, sweetheart.
Bob: I'll go in and see if I can find out what's going --
Abigail: No --
Lucinda: Maybe we should --
Abigail: Molly, Molly, Molly. Wake up.
Molly: You're very light on your feet, McKinnon.
Jake: I feel a swing coming on. Prepare to get horizontal.
Molly: Mmm. This is a little piece of heaven.
Jake: You know what? You have made every single day of my --
made every day heaven.
Molly: Let's never stop.
Jake: I think everybody has to stop.
Molly: Not us. Hey, do you remember that night you danced by
Jake: Yeah, that was the best dance partner I ever had.
Hey, hey, I had to do something. You looked like you were
in a foul mood.
Molly: I remember asking myself, what kind of guy makes a complete
fool out of himself just to cheer somebody up?
Jake: A fool --who is madly and hopelessly in love.
Abigail: Molly, please, wake up. Jake needs you. I need you. Please. Molly.
Molly: Jake? Jake?
Jake: I'm right here.
Molly: What are you doing over there?
Jake: I have to go.
Molly: But we just got here.
Jake: You stay. I can't.
Molly: I don't want to stay here without you.
Jake: I won't be far.
Molly: What am I supposed to do here by myself?
Jake: You won't be alone.
Molly: I feel silly.
Jake: Sometimes it's good to feel silly. And you remember I
Molly: Like this?
Jake: Just like that.
Molly: You ain't seen nothing yet.
Jake: That's my girl.
Molly: Did I do it right?
Jake: You did it right. You did it right for - you did it right for me, for the kids.
Every second of every day, you did it right.
Jake: I love you.
Molly: Don't go. Please, don't go.
Jake: For now, and always.
Abigail: Molly? Molly, wake up.
Molly: What's wrong?
Abigail: The alarms went off and the doctors are inside with Jake.
Molly: Honey, calm down, it's okay. It's okay.
Molly: He's gone. Jake's dead.
Abigail: What? No! No!
John: I'm sorry, Molly. We did everything we could. Most men wouldn't have survived the surgery. He fought very hard, but there was just too much damage.
Caleb: You're not going anywhere, Aaron.
Holden: His sister is going through hell right now. She needs him.
Caleb: I'm sorry. Now is not the time.
Holden: Caleb, you are fighting a losing battle here. Whatever problems you're having, don't make them Aaron's problems. He can't fix them.
Caleb: Don't use what's going on between me and Julie as a way to turn him against us.
Holden: Nobody is doing that. What Aaron needs right now is neutral ground. And if you're smart, you'll let him stay here with me. Look, I don't have time to argue with you about this right now. Abigail is at the hospital, and her stepfather, he could be dying.
Aaron: Dad, I have to be there. Please. She's my sister. We've gotten to know each other really good in the last couple few days. I can't check out on her now.
Holden: We'll be back before you have to leave.
Rosanna: You're not answering my question, Craig. Is Jack correct? Is this a game.
Craig: Jack is never right.
Rosanna: So, what are you after?
Rosanna: Including my sister?
Craig: You want to know what my game is?
Rosanna: No. No, I know what your game is. Your game is never to reveal your game. You're that type. You know what you want. You know how to get it, and you're not gonna let anything as trivial and banal as morality and fair play get in your way. I think the real question is, do I want to play along?
Craig: Do you?
Rosanna: Well, perhaps like you, Craig, I prefer not to tip my hand. But I'll warn you -- I always play to win.
Simon: Look, Katie, we don't need much, all right? Just enough to last us a couple of days. That's all.
Katie: Well, what's the big rush?
Simon: I'm not gonna sit back and wait for Dahlia to strike again. I'm not going to let her hurt you.
Katie: So you're doing this for me?
Simon: Of course I'm doing this for you. All of this is for you. Look, Dahlia wants to see me suffer, okay? An eye for an eye. She thinks I killed Monique, and that's why she's gonna kill you and set me up as a murderer, just like she did tonight with Jill Scully. This is her sick little way of getting justice!
Katie: I knew there had to be some logical reason why you would want to leave all of this. I love you so much.
Simon: Good. So you'll come with me. Let me prove to you the kind of man I really am.
Katie: I know the kind of man you are.
Simon: Katie, the longer we stay, the worse this is gonna get, all right? Dahlia's been here. She's probably stolen DNA evidence -- hairs, fibers, whatever. Probably stuff to plant on Jill Sculley's body.
Katie: Oh, God!
Simon: Katie, I did not kill Monique. You have my word on this. I did not kill that lawyer. Baby, you are the love of my life. Please, tell me you'll come with me.
Katie: I'll go anywhere with you.
Simon: Oh, yeah, that's my girl. All right, well, we'll get the car. We'll drive a few hundred miles west -- west. We'll jump on a plane. I'll call a contact of mine and get some fake I.Ds.
Katie: Fake? Wait, hold on. We're innocent. Why do we need fake I.D.s?
Simon: If the cops don't come after us, Dahlia will. Dahlia is not gonna give up. And now, I'm done with it. I'm done. It's part of the game, Katie -- new names, new identities. We can be whatever we want to be, from corporate executives to archaeologists. You tell me what you want, and I'll make it happen. I'm gonna track down this guy and get the ball rolling, all right? Just don't -- don't call anyone while I'm gone. Don't answer the door. Just put anything -- a few things together, and we'll leave when I get back.
Simon: All right? If this all goes to plan, it'll be like we just fell off the face of the earth. I love you, baby.
Katie: I love you, too.
Henry: It's been nice knowing you, Katie. I'll be sure to send some flowers to the funeral -- something big and showy, and a nice pink bow
Katie: Shut up, Henry, and grab your martini glass. You're going away tonight -- with me. Bathroom specialist, bring it on!
Katie: I can't leave town without this.
Henry: What is it?
Katie: It's a button that fell off of Simon's overalls, the ones he used to wear when he worked in the garage. I just -- he looked so sexy in them, and I --
Henry: Listen, all you need is a good friend and a martini kit. And fortunately, you have both. You ready?
Katie: Okay, I think I should leave a note.
Henry: Oh, here. I'll dictate for you. "Dear Simon, I'm leaving town because you're trying to kill me."
Katie: Very funny, Henry. Very funny. You still have that heart in there?
Henry: Yeah, I still have it, thankfully. No thanks to you. Mr. Cooley tried to rip it out of my chest one day. He called it lunch.
Katie: Um, oh, wait -- I gotta put the xs and os, kisses and hugs. Okay, where should I put it?
Henry: I don't know, under his duct tape and noose. He's sure to find it there, hmm?
[Car pulls up]
Henry: Here's Simon.
Katie: Okay, okay -- hurry. Go out the back. Just go out the back.
Simon: Katie, we're all set. Katie?! Katie? Katie?!
Holden: Molly, how's Jake?
Molly: He died.
Holden: Oh, I'm so sorry.
Molly: I know. I have to call Donna and Marley.
Holden: You want me to call them for you?
Molly: No, I think they should really hear it from me. And I want to -- I want to hold Michele and Bridget. So I think I need to call them myself. Would you watch Abigail?
Holden: Oh, I'm so sorry, sweetheart.
Abigail: I just can't believe he's gone.
Holden: I know.
Abigail: He treated me like I was his own daughter.
Holden: Well, that's one of the things that I loved best about Jake.
Abigail: I'm worried about Molly, Holden.
Holden: She seems to be doing pretty well.
Abigail: She's doing too well.
Holden: What do you mean?
Abigail: She hasn't shed a tear. She's acting like nothing happened.
Holden: I think Molly's just trying to handle this in her own way right now.
Abigail: She's scaring me, Holden. Can you check on her?
Aaron: I'll stay here with Abigail.
Holden: All right. You okay?
Molly: I don't know the number. I've called her house three times a day to check on Bridget and Michele, and I don't remember the number.
Holden: It's okay, Mol.
Molly: He's dead. Jake -- Jake's dead. And I knew it -- I knew it before John said anything. But how do you know what you don't feel? I feel like he's alive. I do. I feel like he's right here, right with me, right now just as much as you are -- more, actually. It's an incredible feeling. And now that he's with me, Holden, I don't ever want to lose this feeling, ever -- ever.
Rose: You did it! These are great. Jack is definitely going to find these guys.
Carly: Great. So why don't you think we've heard anything from the ICU yet?
Rose: Nothing to hear yet.
Carly: Would you -- would you do me a favor and go down there and just -- just see if they'll tell you how Jake's doing, or --
Rose: Yeah, yeah. But keep your gown on, it might take a while. I'm not walking as fast as I used to. Kidding. I'll be right back.
Jack: How is she?
Rose: Ah, she's worried about Jake. What's going on?
Jack: I -- I haven't heard.
Rose: Why so serious?
Jack: Carly's sister's in town.
Rose: She has a sister?
Jack: Rosanna Cabot. She blew into town a few days ago with a court order for temporary custody of Parker.
Rose: And that's bad?
Jack: That's terrible. They hate each other's guts.
Jack: I didn't want to tell Carly Rosanna was in town till after you two had seen the specialist.
Rose: Oh. Well, we're talking about Carly here. I mean, that kid is her life. That's how she got out of that tomb to begin with, thinking about that boy. Don't let her hear from the grapevine.
Holden: Hey, Jack, I'm glad I found you. Hey, Rose.
Rose: Hey, Holden. Bad news or something, I can tell -- serious -- I've been raised Italian. What's happening?
Holden: Jake McKinnon just passed away. Molly wanted me to tell you so you could tell Carly.
Jack: Oh, no, it's too much for her right now.
Rose: Hey, her being wrapped up like a mummy wasn't too much for her. She can take it. You clamming up on her and treating her like she lives in a glass house is not gonna help either. Treating her like you don't know who she is. You know who she is better than anybody. And I know you don't want to dump bad news on her right now, that girl in there, she knows it's part of the deal. Carly can take it.
Holden: Yeah, Rose is right. Carly needs to hear this, Jack.
Katie: Oh, my note fell on the floor.
Henry: What a shame. Let's go.
Katie: Wait, not yet, not yet, not yet.
Henry: You're darn right, not yet. That's my favorite glass.
Katie: My life is falling apart, and you're worried about a stupid martini glass.
Henry: That baby got me through my darkest hours on devil's island.
Katie: Wait, duck -- here he comes.
Katie: "My dearest Simon, as I write this note, my heart is breaking.
I love you more than anything in this world, but I don't feel safe
being with you right now. Please, don't try to find me.
I hired a bodyguard just in case."
Simon: A bodyguard?! What bodyguard? H.C. Henry Coleman. No!
Craig: Hey, I'm starving. Want something to eat?
Lucy: No. I'll pass.
Craig: You used to always love to raid the fridge with me after midnight.
Lucy: I'm tired.
Craig: Too tired for nachos? What's wrong, sweetness? What did you -- what did you hear?
Lucy: You said you loved Carly.
Craig: I -- I do.
Lucy: Like you loved my mother?
Craig: Well -- oh, sweetness, sometimes things get complicated.
Lucy: I don't think they're that complicated. Good night, dad.
Caleb: Abigail, I'm really sorry about Jake. They told me at the desk.
Caleb: I need to speak to Aaron. It will only take a minute.
Aaron: How could you come here? I said I'd come home. I swear, just not now. Abigail's wrecked. I have to stay -- till the funeral. I know I haven't been here long, but me and Abigail -- we've grown to understand each other. And I can't bail on her -- not now.
Caleb: All right.
Caleb: It's okay. You stay.
Aaron: What do you mean?
Caleb: This is the most you've said to me in months.
Aaron: Yeah, well, mom'll go nuts if you show up without me.
Caleb: Well, she's going to have to be getting used to being without you for a while. Aaron, I wish I was the one that could fix things for you, but I'm not. No matter how hard I try, I seem to mess things up. Stay with Holden for now -- as long as you think you need to. Just take care of yourself, all right? And you call, even if you think you've got nothing to say. You hear me? I love you.
Carly: Hey. Hey. How did you two find each other?
Jack: Carly, we need to talk.
Carly: Did Rose tell you about the sketches?
Jack: No, no, it's about Jake -- he's gone.
Carly: No. No, Jack. No.
And I am still and wait here in this silence
until you come and sit awhile with me
you raise me up so I can stand on mountains
you raise me up to walk on stormy seas
I am strong when I am on your shoulders
you raise me up to more than I can be
you raise me up so I can stand on mountains
I can stand on mountains
you raise me up to walk on stormy seas
I am strong when I am on your shoulders
oh, you raise me up to more than I can be
you raise me up to more than I can be
