Signora Cordina: Is this your first visit?
Signora Cordina: To Malta?
Lily: Oh. Uh, no.
Signora Cordina: Then it has cast its spell over you, as well. I recommend you stay at the chateau marquis. It is exquisite.
Lily: I'm not on a vacation.
Signora Cordina: Oh, I'm sorry. I assumed it from the guidebook. Forgive me if I seem to be prying. I don't mean to.
Lily: It's okay. I just can't really get into everything right now.
Signora Cordina: Well, I wouldn't dream of asking you. A beautiful woman may have many reasons for going to Malta. My family has lived there for generations.
Lily: Maybe you can help me. I am looking for a specific castle.
Signora Cordina: There are dozens. Many are drawn to Fort St. Elmo, with its rich history.
Lily: Well, this wouldn't be a tourist attraction. It would be something near the water, and that I know for sure.
Signora Cordina: Oh, my dear, on Malta, all things are near the water.
Lily: Yes, of course. I'm sorry. I'm sorry if I'm a little scattered, but I do know this castle is near a church with a gold dome, and there are cypress trees -- five cypress trees in a row, low windows. And this castle has a dungeon, or – Signora Cordina: The dome could be the San Gennaro. The legend has it that the count who once owned the castle nearby, he planted the trees to keep the priests from knowing what was going on behind his walls.
Lily: Then you know it?
Signora Cordina: I believe I do. I think I can tell you exactly where that castle is.
Holden: I, Lord Castlekeeper, challenge you, the powerful Prince, to a tickle duel! I'm gonna get ya! I'm gonna get you, Prince. I'm gonna get ya!
You're mine! You're mine! You're mine! You can't hide behind these boxes, Ahh! [The boxes move out the way to reveal a covered hole in the wall] Oh, what do we have here?
Luke: What is it?
Holden: I don't know.
Holden: Yeah, cool. Very cool.
Simon: Oh, finally. Well, come on.
Katie: I'm waiting.
Simon: For what?
Katie: For my sexy husband to carry me over the threshold.
Simon: Come on, this is not our home. We did not just get married. And we've returned from hell, not our honeymoon.
Katie: So the honeymoon begins now. Oh, no, wait. Actually, it began on the plane when you said that four-letter word.
Simon: Oh, wait, wait, wait, wait. I've been tempted many times, but I've never used profanity with you.
Katie: No, I mean the "L" word! Now, are you gonna carry me over the threshold, or are we going to sit here and pass out from exhaustion?
Simon: Fine, fine. Okay, allow me. [Talking to Snickers] Welcome home, sweetheart. It's good to have you back.
Katie: Very funny.
Simon: And get that thing a cage. You don't want Snickers leaving little presents all over the carpet.
Katie: Oh, Snickers is the smartest wittle bunny ever, huh, baby? I'm going to train him -- or her.
Simon: Yeah, as long as it keeps you out of trouble.
Katie: You know, I keep thinking maybe I should have left Snickers with Henry. He'd be much better company than Mr. Cooley and my old coconut gallery.
Simon: Yeah, look, Henry got exactly what he deserved.
Katie: Henry is not all that bad. You just have to get to know him.
Simon: Henry is trouble.
Katie: Yeah, well, some may say the same about you.
Simon: Yeah, well, some people may be right.
Katie: We just can't leave him out there forever, right?
Simon: It's all right. I'll alert the coast guard tomorrow. In the meantime, him and Cooley can have a night of male bonding.
Katie: I just hope Henry doesn't do anything to make Cooley angry.
Simon: He better not, because Cooley's pretty handy with a machete.
Katie: Henry detests violence.
Simon: Then he better hitch up his skirt and run like the devil until the Coast Guard arrives.
Katie: That's a good idea. Because there's nothing we can do right now, right? And we have more important things to do.
Simon: Oh, exactly, like sleep.
Katie: No, like keep your promise to make mad, passionate love to your wife.
Simon: Oh, no --
Katie: Don't, don't. A promise is a promise.
Simon: I know a promise is a promise, but --
Katie: Oh, yea! Finally. Finally, my dream is gonna be fulfilled.
Paul: All right, I'm ready. Let's go.
Driver: Excuse me, and you are?
Paul: Paul Ryan.
Driver: Oh, great. I just need to see some identification.
Paul: Look, I got plenty of I.D., just not on me, okay?
Paul: I had a hard time getting here so fast, and I lost my wallet somewhere between New York and Oakdale. So just get me to Memorial Hospital. We'll clear up everything there.
Driver: I'm sorry, sir, but I'm supposed to pick up Paul Ryan, and only Paul Ryan. Forgive me, but how am I supposed to know you're who you say you are? For all I know, you could be airport maintenance or something.
Paul: It was a rough trip. Hal Munson made the arrangements. He'll pick up the tab, okay?
Driver: Well, too bad he didn't come to pick you up.
Rose: Excuse me. I'm here to meet a guy named Simon Frasier. He came in on a rented plane. Is he gonna come out of that gate right there?
Attendant: I'm sorry, miss, all charter planes arrive at Gate B-15.
Rose: I don't have time for Bingo. Okay, I need to find Simon Frasier.
Could you just --
Attendant: I'd go to Gate B-15.
Rose: Great. Oh, I have time to sit around the airport and wait for people.
Paul: Okay, look, I'll double your fee, triple it. Just please, my mother is in critical condition. Every moment counts. If something were to happen to her before I got there, I wouldn't be able to forgive myself.
Driver: I wish I could help you, pal. I got a mother too, you know? But I also have a job. And if I start pickin' up the wrong passengers, I'm not gonna have it much longer. Do you see my point?
[Paul notices Rose and mistakes her for Lily]
Paul: Thank God you're here! I've never been so happy to see anybody in my life! Paul: Lily, I'm in a real bind here. This guy won't budge. I've got to get to the hospital, and he won't budge without a credit card or cash --
Rose: Wait, hold on, hold on! Whoo, whoo! Slow down. I mean, that was one of the ten best hugs of my life, don't get me wrong, but you got the wrong Good Samaritan here. I'm Rose, not Lily. Rose.
Paul: Is there supposed to be a joke I'm supposed to get, because I --
Rose: I'm sorry. I know. I'm Lily's twin sister, Rose. Long story. I'd love to tell you all about it some time, but we're both short on time right now, obviously.
Paul: Lily has a twin?
Paul: Wow, you certainly are identical.
Rose: I like to think I have a little more style than her, but yeah, we're identical.
Paul: Well, I'm sorry I bothered you, okay?
Rose: No, no, no, no, no. Not bothered. Not bothered at all. Love to help you out. Love to! But I got to wait to pick up somebody here for my boss.
Paul: Look, I don't want to keep you. I'll be fine. I'll figure something out.
Rose: No, no, no! See, 'cause it's a long walk to memorial. I kinda overheard what you just said.
Paul: Yeah, I spent the last of my cash convincing a gate agent to let me on the plane at Osaka, so this is it. This is all I've got.
Rose: Oh, it's all prime.
Rose: It's a crime. It is such a crime how people don't trust people anymore. You know, I may not be the sister with the pot of gold, but I got a couple of nickels to rub together. So this ought to get you where you're goin'.
[Rose takes out money from her purse and gives it to him]
Paul: Rose, look, I can't take your money.
Rose: You got to go see your mom.
Paul: Thank you, and I'll pay you back. I promise.
Rose: It's a couple of bucks. Don't sweat it, really.
Paul: I don't even know your last name.
Rose: D'Angelo. From Hoboken.
Paul: Well, Rose D'Angelo, it's nice to meet you. You might not have the pot of gold, but you have every bit of your sister's class.
Rose: Oh, yeah, that's me, a real deb. You go see your ma. 'Cause I know somethin' about that. Don't waste a second. And whatever happens, make this time count.
Paul: I will, and thanks. I'll pay you back. I promise.
Rose: Oh, yeah! Oh, yeah.
Rose: Heard that before. Drop-dead gorgeous, a bod that won't quit, and totally broke. That's a song I can understand.
Luke: What is this?
Holden: Some kind of insulation. They put it in between walls to keep out the cold, or to keep things quiet. This is somehow different. You know what?
I bet they were trying to soundproof this room.
Holden: Beats me. But you know what? I bet there is a wall on the other side, and I bet you it leads to another room.
Luke: I could go through.
Holden: No. Nobody's going through just yet. You know what? Let's clean this stuff up before those guards realize that we've got a jump on them, okay? Find a box.
Luke: Here. I'll stuff it in.
Holden: You know what, buddy? If that other wall is in as bad of shape as this one, I bet we can break through it somehow.
Luke: And escape?
Holden: And escape. And win the prize. And win the game.
Luke: Maybe it's a new bike.
Holden: Hey, if we win this game, I'm going to get you anything that you want, all right?
Luke: Awesome! I better make a list.
Holden: Shh. Somebody's coming. Hide the box. Quick.
[A Guard comes and places a thermos in front of them]
Luke: Do you think it's chocolate milk?
Luke: Ask him, in Italian.
Holden: Why don't you ask him? You can say anything. He can't understand.
Luke: Cool. Hey, mister, you look like Jar Jar Binx.
Holden: With bigger ears.
Luke: And way uglier.
Guard #1: Actually, I -- people tell me I look more like Liam Neeson.
Holden: You speak English?
Guard #1: I speak French, German, a bit of Latin, and, of course, Italian.
You speak of a film where the character has your name. Young Mr.
Holden: Were you the one who brought us the food in the dungeon?
Guard #1: I've been with you since the beginning. I overhear you make plans to escape the dungeon. I know that you found the drain. That's why you were moved here.
Holden: What do you want from us?
Guard #1: Obey the orders, and you won't be harmed.
Holden: You can't keep us in here forever.
Luke: We're gonna win. Right, Dad?
Guard #1: There is no winning. There is no escape. Don't fill the boy's head with false promises. Now hand me your wedding ring.
Holden: My what?
Guard #1: The ring! Now!
Katie: Here I am, darling. Oh, I forgot music. Please let him want me as much as I want him. Okay, I'm all fresh and clean and ready to be ravaged.
Sweetheart? Lover? My one and only? Talk to me, baby. Whisper in my ear.
Katie: Wake up, it's showtime.
Simon: What are you doing?
Katie: I'm seducing my husband. What does it look like?
Simon: Please, Katie, not now, I'm begging you. I'm really beat.
Katie: Don't worry, I'll wake you up. Prepare to be amazed. You know, it's a lot more fun if you help.
Paul: Jen --
Paul: Oh, God, it's so good to see you.
Jennifer: Oh, I am so glad that you're here. I have missed you so much.
Hal: Paul, it's good to see you.
Paul: How is she?
Hal: Better, we think.
Jennifer: Paul, this is my boyfriend, Bryant Montgomery.
Hal: Craig's son.
Bryant: Guilty, yeah.
Paul: Where is Craig?
Hal: Nowhere near your mother, that's for sure.
Jennifer: Yeah, not after what he did.
Paul: What? What's going on? The only message I got was there was an explosion.
Hal: Paul, Craig was arrested for attempted murder.
Paul: He did this?
Jennifer: Yeah, he was after Mom's money, her business, and everything else.
Paul: I knew the guy was no prince, but are they sure?
Hal: The police have a pretty good case.
Paul: Why would he want Mom dead?
Jennifer: Because he was robbing her blind, and she found out.
Hal: He was siphoning funds from B.R.O.
Paul: That's where the money went. I told her. I told her we were missing huge chunks of B.R.O. funds.
Hal: He was using it to finance some deal he was working on.
Paul: Did you know?
Bryant: No, I barely even talk to my dad. I even tried to warn your mother about him, but I had no idea that he'd do something like this. I'm gonna give you guys some time alone, all right? So I'll see you later, all right? Bye. If there's any news, will you call me?
Jennifer: Of course I will.
Bryant: All right. See ya.
Paul: You sure that's a good idea to have Craig's son hanging around here?
Jennifer: Hey, he's nothing like his father, believe me, okay? He's just as upset about Mom as we are.
Hal: It's true. Bryant's not a problem, Paul.
Paul: Can I see Mom?
Hal: Bob's in with her now. There was some movement earlier. She moved her hand.
Jennifer: They're not sure what it means, though.
Paul: So she's still in the coma?
Hal: I'm afraid so.
Paul: Just as long as there's hope.
Paul: Uncle Bob -- Uncle Bob, how is she?
Bob: Paul, I'm glad you're here. I just got the preliminary results of your mother's tests.
Jennifer: Was I right? Is she coming out of her coma?
Bob: We've detected an increase in brain activity.
Paul: What does that mean?
Bob: Well, it could mean the beginning of a very slow recovery. The brain is sending messages to the rest of the body. And if that results in eye movement, hand movement, it could be the first indication of improvement.
Jennifer: I knew it. I knew that she heard me, Dad.
Bob: Now, don't expect anything dramatic. Your mother could remain in the state she's in for a long time.
Jennifer: Yeah, but she won't.
Hal: Let Bob finish, honey.
Bob: We will monitor her constantly. And if the brain activity continues to increase, it means that she's on her way back.
Paul: Can I see her?
Bob: Oh, of course, Paul. Remember your mother's suffered terrible trauma. Be prepared for that. Talk to her, let her know that you're here, and remain as positive as possible.
Hal: Paul, Bob's right. Your mother's been very badly burned, and she's covered in bandages. She's hooked up to machines. I think we should go in together.
Intercom: Dr. Valentino, to the O.R. please.
Hal: It's all right, Slocumb. This is Barbara's son Paul.
Paul: Why the guard?
Hal: Protection for Barbara.
Paul: You don't think Craig's gonna try to --
Hal: Why don't you talk to your mother, Paul?
Simon: What do you see in me, Katie?
Katie: Have you looked in the mirror lately?
Simon: Wait, wait. Do I shower you with gifts? Do I write you long, passionate love letters? Do I pamper you at all?
Katie: I don't need those things.
Simon: What do you need?
Katie: That's simple. I need you. You said the word. I don't care how you love me, even if it's in this loosely defined way. Love is love, you know?
And it's not just doled out in these little increments. You feel it or you don't.
See, that's what was wrong with all your exes. They just didn't have the patience to wait you out.
Simon: Don't rewrite history. Okay, I treated them badly.
Katie: Don't talk about yourself like that, okay? You are my Prince.
Simon: Prince of what?
Katie: Of my dreams. I'm young. I have time on my side. I can wait forever. Because I know that someday you're going to come out of this negative, moody, love doesn't exist phase. And when you do, you're gonna fall for me like a ton of bricks.
Simon: By then, we both might be too old to do anything about it.
Katie: I'll risk it. I know, I know, you're a guy. You have needs. That's why you gave in to me tonight. I'm not totally clueless. But I also know that someday you're gonna want me because you want me, not because your hormones are raging. So I'll be there, waiting.
Simon: You're serious, aren't you?
Katie: I don't joke when it comes to us.
Simon: Us is just a fantasy of that tangled brain of yours.
Katie: Really? Well, this tangled brain got you to fly across the country to some pinhead island to save her. And I know -- I would bet the rest of my savings on it -- that a teeny bit of you was worried that something had happened to me -- maybe Cooley had used me for shark bait or something, or worse. It's true, isn't it? You were scared. You were scared that you'd might not get to see this face or this tangled brain again.
Singer: Forever in your eyes Forever in your eyes Forever in your eyes [Pounding on door]
Katie: I don't care if it's a van with a million-dollar prize.
Simon: Look, I should get it.
Katie: No, no, no, no. Shh! They won't hear us. They won't even know we're here. Just pretend they're gone.
Rose: Simon! The guy at the front desk told me that you and Barbie just waltzed in here. Now, open up the door before I gotta bribe a bellman to knock the door down.
Holden: Sorry, ring doesn't leave the finger.
Guard #1: Then maybe your finger will leave your hand.
Luke: Dad! No, no, you can't hurt my dad!
Holden: It's okay, buddy. Buddy, it's okay. It's okay, nobody's gonna get hurt. Come on, pal, I know what this game is all about. We're on to you, so why don't you just give it up?
Luke: Yeah, join us, be on our team.
Guard #1: Your team? You be a good boy and do as you're told, huh?
You like chocolate? [The Guard hands Luke a chocolate bar]
Luke: Wow, thanks.
[Holden attacks the Guard]
Guard #1: You make a big mistake, my friend. And now you're gonna pay.
Luke: No, you promised! Don't hurt my dad!
Luke: Please, let him go. Dad?
Holden: You really had me goin'. Did you see the look on his face? Like he was really gonna use that knife.
Guard #1: I asked for the ring.
Holden: Look, buddy, you know what? We're gonna lose a few points here, but I'll tell you what. We're gonna make it back, okay? I promise you.
[Holden take off his ring and gives it to the Guard] You take good care of that.
Guard #1: You were wise to listen. Next time you do something foolish like that again, you're gonna pay more than those, uh -- those points that you speak about. Luke, remind your father to play it smart, and everything will be okay, huh?
Luke: That knife didn't look fake.
Holden: Oh, that knife was fake. It was fake, all right. Looked cheesy to me.
Luke: Want some chocolate?
Holden: No. No, thanks.
Luke: Now what, Dad?
Holden: Now what? Tell ya what we're gonna do. We gotta regroup. We gotta use everything that we have, like that -- that open wall right there, okay?
Luke: And if Mom got our letter, maybe we'll meet up with her?
Holden: Yeah. Yeah, maybe. Okay, you ready to get back to work?
Holden: All right. Atta boy. Before we do that, you know what I need? I need one of those -- one of those "Never let go, squeeze tight with all your might" hugs, okay?
[Pounding on door]
Simon: Look, Rose is a pit bull, okay? You just stay there. I won't be long.
Katie: You better not be, or I'm siccing Snickers on her.
Rose: You're rude! You're very rude!
Simon: Oh, come in. Yes.
Rose: Oh, my! Whoo! Nice. Hold the hot sauce.
Rose: Can you answer me a question? Is she underage?
Simon: What do you want, Rose?
Rose: I want to get this vision outta my head right now. Well, apparently, absence makes the heart grow hormones.
Katie: Hey, I don't remember sending out invitations.
Simon: Look, is Lily okay?
Rose: No, I look like a --
Katie: Oh, I'm -- yeah, I heard about Holden and Luke. I'm really sorry.
Rose: Thank you. Lily thinks Holden and Luke are still alive, and that they're in Malta being held by Damian in some castle. She's on her way over there right now! She got a note from Holden, a legitimate note -- I'll give you everything, all the -- let's go. Let's just go. I need your help.
Katie: Wait, wait. Hold on. Who is Damian, and what does it have to do with my husband?
Simon: Lily went to Malta alone?
Rose: Yeah. You know her head is like concrete when she has set her mind on something.
Simon: And Lucinda let her?
Rose: She didn't have a choice, okay? And I'm really worried about her.
The guys that shot up her house like Swiss cheese, they're not playin' games.
Simon: How could Lucinda let her own daughter go to -- go to this island unprotected?
Katie: Oh, again with you and Lily and an island.
Rose: She needs a bodyguard, okay, a guy with a mind and a mouth who could talk down a firing squad if he had to.
Katie: Now, wait. My husband is not going to Malta, wherever on the earth Malta might be.
Rose: Are you speaking?
Katie: Look, Lucinda doesn't even want Simon in the same solar system as Lily.
Rose: Lucinda wants Lily to be safe. And if Simon is the man for the job, she is on board.
Simon: How on board?
Rose: This on board -- a blank check with your name on it, with Lucinda Walsh's John Hancock. Just name your price.
Signora Cordina: I have a beautiful villa. If you would like, I would be glad to rent you a room.
Lily: That would be much nicer than a hotel room. Thank you.
Signora Cordina: And I would enjoy it, the company. The nights are very lonely.
Lily: Well, that's wonderful. I'll -- I'll tell the stewardess to have a car pick me up at the airport when I get there. Thank you so much.
[Lily leaves to talk to a stewardess]
Signora Cordina: It's me. I have made contact with Lily Snyder.
Guard #1: Excellent. When Signora Snyder arrives, she'll learn that her husband and son are dead.
Signora Cordina: Be certain. There is no room for doubt. She is a very determined young woman.
Guard #1: Trust me. She'll be convinced that Holden and Luke Snyder have met a very tragic fate.
Jennifer: Mom, please, squeeze Paul's hand, just like -- just like you did before with me. I --
Paul: Don't hurt me.
Jennifer: Please, Mom.
Paul: It's okay. It's okay. You rest. We'll arm wrestle later.
Hal: Jen, Bob said none of this would happen overnight. We're just gonna have to be patient.
Paul: Whatever uncle Bob says, I'm cuttin' his time line in half. I'm bettin' on you, Mom, to break all the records, just like you always do.
Jennifer: Maybe she didn't know whose hand she was squeezing before, and now that she knows it's mine, she doesn't want me here. Maybe all she was trying to tell me before was just -- just to leave and never come back.
[Jennifer runs out of the room]
Hal: Jen --
Paul: No, Hal, Hal?
Intercom: Dr. Forrest, dial 118, please. Dr. Forrest, please dial 118.
Jennifer: She hates me, and who blames her?
Paul: Has she ever said that, hmm, just once? Even in anger, has she? Has she ever told you to get lost? No way. Jen, look, come here. Mom was upset, yeah, but it was only because she knew the detail, and the only person you were hurting was yourself. You know how Mom is, especially with her kids.
Paul: Look, I know two things for sure. One, Mom loves you very, very much. And two, she's comin' back to us. And that's a promise.
Hal: You all right?
Hal: Hey, why don't you get out of here for a while? And keep your cell phone with you. If there's a change, I'll give you a call. Paul and I will handle things here, okay? Go see a friend.
Jennifer: Promise that you'll call?
Paul: Yeah, we'll call. Go on.
Hal: Love you.
Paul: What's that jerk done to this family?
Hal: Well, we've taken our punches, Paul, but we're still standing.
Paul: Is he locked up? Why the hell not?!
Hal: Because he made bail. Because this guy plays the system better than anybody I've ever seen. I don't think anything short of a videotape showing him planting that bomb would nail him.
Paul: You're not serious?
Hal: Well, the case isn't airtight. Even I've got my doubts.
Paul: Well, the motives are clear. He got his hands on B.R.O. funds.
Hal: Barbara had financial records with her when she was hurt. The whole reason she went to the boathouse was to blow the whistle on this guy. She'd gone there to meet a cop and tell him the whole story.
Paul: The explosion was in a boathouse?
Hal: Right. That evidence, just before she was about to turn it over, everything -- motive, opportunity, everything -- points to Montgomery.
Paul: Then why the hell are you backin' off?!
Hal: I'm not. Paul, I know how you feel. I know you wanna rip him apart.
I know you're angry at the world. I know how you feel. Believe me, I've been there, but you have to listen to me. You have to let the cops handle this thing.
I've given them enough flak. You can't go there, too.
Paul: All right.
Hal: I gotta go see Will. I'll see you later.
Paul: Hal -- thanks for bein' here.
Hal: This is where I belong.
Paul: Janet Allen, please. Paul Ryan. Janet, hey, Paul. Get Ted to pull all the corporate records from the Manhattan office. What do you mean, "Ted's out"? Well, get Jim fisher then. What is this? I didn't get rid of anybody.
Craig Montgomery had no authority to fire the janitor, much less half the New York office. No, no, no, no, no. I'll handle it from this end. Just -- just pull all the transactions. I want every cent accounted for.
Simon: Look, I've already played detective. I tracked down the speedboat, the lollipop, Damian's cell phone number.
Rose: Yeah, I know. That's exactly why Lily's all over this Malta thing.
Didn't I pay you enough dough for your last expedition? It's not my fault you wanted to drag trouble right back to your front door.
Katie: Hey, who are you calling trouble?
Rose: Simon, I know what you're thinking. You don't wanna wear your heart on your sleeve again just for it to be ground like sausage. Lucinda knows this is a difficult job for you, but she also knows you are the man for the job.
Katie: Listen, Rose, I don't know how long it's been since a man actually even looked at you, so you might not recognize what's going on here --
Rose: Are you speaking?! Could you stop speaking for like a second?!
Lily is halfway to Malta right now! She's putting herself right into an ambush! She's walking into a mine field! Are -- alone! Are you okay with that?!
Katie: Don't listen to her, Simon. She's just trying to get to you.
Rose: You know -- you know what? I am. I am. My entire life, I -- I felt like something was missing from my life, and I never knew why. I even made up imaginary friends. I laid on my bed, and I'd stare and talk to thin air, and nothing filled that space in my life until I came face-to-face with Lily. Years it took me to find Lily, and I don't wanna lose her again. Do you?
Simon: You tell Lucinda that she will get her answer in person. The next time she wants something from me, she better park the checkbook, get on her hands and knees and come begging for me herself.
Paul: I really blew it this time, Mom. I should have seen the signs. I should have known something was up. After the flak over the prenup, I had Craig pegged for a loser, but not this. Maybe if I'd canceled my trip, come to the wedding or -- why didn't you call me when you found out about Craig? I - - maybe I had already left when everything fell apart. I was so busy proving I could climb mountains that I forgot what was important. [Crying] I let you down, Mom, and that is something that you never did to me. I should have been there, and I am sorry. So -- [Paul sobs] But I am here now, and Craig Montgomery will pay for what he's done to you. I will make him suffer the way he's made you suffer, and he will never be able to hurt anyone ever again.
Katie: I am so glad you didn't let her get to you. Now, where were we?
Hey, what are you doing?
Simon: I'm going to go teach a very rich and very arrogant woman a lesson in human dignity.
Katie: Now, when you could be teaching me a lesson in human sexuality?
Oh, come on. You're leaving me for Lucinda?! It's none of our business. Yes, I feel sorry for Lily, but not that sorry, so come back to bed.
Simon: Don't you move a pretty little muscle. I'll be back soon, okay?
Luke: Do you think you'll get your ring back?
Holden: Are you kidding? That's the grand prize for me. I'm not leaving without it.
Luke: Dad --
Holden: Shh, shh, shh, shh. Listen.
[Opera music playing]
Luke: What's that?
Holden: It sounds like an opera.
Luke: I can't understand the words.
Holden: That's because they're in Italian.
Luke: It's pretty.
Holden: Yeah, well, that's why all these props and all these costumes are in this room. We're in an opera house.

Holden: Lots of other people.
Luke: Maybe they could help us.
Holden: Maybe they can. We gotta just let them know that we're here.
Ready to get back to work?
Signora Cordina: I wish you much luck in your quest. Remember, you are welcome at my villa.
Lily: Thank you, Signora. Thank you very much.
Signora Cordina: Aw. Rest your weary mind, child. I am sure that all will be well.
Lily: Thank you. Oh, one day.
