Greenlee: I was gonna call you last night. You're not gonna believe what happened in the marketing pitch yesterday.
Kendall: No, I heard -- that Madison had a little trouble with the presentation.
Greenlee: "Trouble?" She completely froze in the middle of the presentation like some deer in the headlights.
Kendall: Greenlee --
Madison: Bambi's fine.
A.J.: The girls' room is way cooler than ours.
Marissa: Ah. Hey, I hope it's ok that we got the adjoining room. I know that you're here partly for work. I don't want to get in the way.
Bianca: It's not a problem.
A.J.: I know what we can do.
Bianca: What is that, A.J.?
A.J.: The kids can stay in one room and the moms in the other.
Miranda: Yay! Please?
Colby: Hi. Hi. Hey, why didn't you go?
J.R.: Go where?
Colby: I thought you were going camping with Marissa and A.J. or something like that.
J.R.: I was, but I have some other business that I have to attend to.
Colby: Hmm. All right.
Amanda's voice: Hey, this is Amanda. Please leave a message.
[Voice mail beeps]
Amanda: I can't keep quiet about what happened between us. I have to tell Jake.
J.R.: Like hell you will.
Jake: Beep. And we're off. Whoo-whoo! Beep, beep, beep -- Babe -- and dump.
Jake: You ever notice how serious he is with the yellow trucks? Bring it around.
Amanda: Yeah. Right.
Jake: Load him up. Load him up, and I'll come right back. Did you hear me? What is it?
Jake: Just -- all right, because it just seemed that something's bothering you.
Amanda: When I thought you had slept with Cara, it was like I didn't know who I was anymore, who we were. And -- and there was no way back, because you were so clearly in love with her.
Jake: I would like to make one thing clear: The only person I'm in love with is you.
Amanda: I know.
Jake: Ok? And what happened between us, with Cara and me -- it caused you a lot of pain. I'm sorry. You didn't deserve that.
Amanda: Maybe I did.
Jake: Why would you say something like that?
Amanda: I did something really bad.
Jake: Ok. What did you do? I know what you did. You called Immigration. You tried to turn Cara in again.
Amanda: No. This has nothing to do with her. It's --
Jake: Go ahead, get it. It's all right.
Jake: It's ok. Whoever it is, they're being very persistent. They've called you twice in the last couple of minutes.
Amanda: No, it's not important.
Amanda: Whoever it is just doesn't have any regard for other people's time, that's all.
Jake: Maybe it's just somebody from work, honey.
Amanda: No, it doesn't matter.
Jake: Obviously it matters a little bit, because you keep looking at the phone like a bomb is gonna go off.
Amanda's voice: Hey, this is Amanda. Please leave a message.
[Voice mail beeps]
J.R.: Amanda, it's J.R. We need to talk about -- you know. And I hope the reason why you're not answering isn't because you're telling Jake about it. That would be a big mistake, a very big mistake.
Amanda: It's nothing, Jake. It's work. I didn't answer, because it's supposed to be my day off.
Jake: You just seem so rattled.
Amanda: Yeah, you could say that. You remember what you said -- when something's wrong, you got to face it no matter what?
Jake: Yeah. I was talking to myself mostly.
Amanda: You did finally tell me what happened between you and Cara --
Amanda: Or what could've happened.
Jake: Right. But that doesn't excuse it.
Amanda: Yeah, but you stopped it, though.
Jake: It doesn't -- it should never have happened in the first place, and I'm so sorry, honey.
Amanda: No, Jake --
Jake: Please let me just say this. I'm sorry, because of my behavior, you ended up doubting me and us. And I was affected by something that was from my past, and it should've been left in the past -- buried, gone. I just hate what I did. I promise you that I'm gonna do whatever I can to make it up to you. You know why? Because I love you. I just love you.
Amanda: I love you, too, and that's why this is so hard.
Jake: Babe, whatever it is, I -- damn.
Amanda: Is it Cara?
Jake: No, honey, it's the hospital. I am being summoned.
Amanda: By who?
Jake: I don't recognize the number. But now that Hayward is back in charge, I better check it out. I'm sorry.
Amanda: Yeah. No, I understand.
Jake: But I'm gonna check it out, see what it is. I'll come back, and I'll be with you guys right away, ok?
Jake: And this thing, this terrible thing -- whatever it is, I forgive you. I forgive you. All right? I'll make this quick.
Colby: I'm -- ah! I am so sorry!
Maya: I know I set my alarm.
Colby: Are you ok? I'm sorry.
Maya: I didn't know anybody used this room.
Colby: No, that's ok. It's totally fine. Just relax. It's fine.
Maya: I'll get out.
Colby: No, no! Just stick around. You can help me figure out what stuff I'm gonna return.
Maya: What is it?
Colby: Oh, clothes mostly. I store them in here, and then when there's room in my closet, I put it in there.
Maya: Oh. Ok.
Colby: I'm sorry. That sounded really pretentious. Um, I shop a lot. To be completely truthful and honest, it's a character flaw that I am -- I am now working on. So, um, why didn't you go home last night?
Maya: I was too tired to drive.
Colby: Me, I would do anything just to sleep in my own bed.
Maya: Oh. I just thought I'd lie down for a few minutes, take a quick nap.
Colby: Like you did a couple days ago?
Maya: What do you mean?
Colby: I think it was last Monday you slept here. Not that it matters or anything -- you could live here, it doesn't matter at all -- but I don't know. It just seems like you never want to go home. Is there something going on?
Maya: I just overslept. That's all. It won't happen again. Excuse me.
Marissa: Oh. So kids in one room and moms in the other, huh?
A.J. and Miranda: Yeah!
Marissa: Nice try, but you guys would just be up playing all night. We'd just be up all night worrying about you.
A.J.: Oh, come on, Mom.
Marissa: No. You're gonna stay with me, and Miranda and Gaby are gonna stay with Bianca. Come on. Let's go unpack. It'll be fun. Check it out, lady. I bet you're thrilled that we came along now, huh?
Bianca: I'm glad you're here.
Marissa: You seem kind of quiet.
Bianca: I'm just thinking about my meeting.
Marissa: Oh, ok. Then let me handle the kids today. They've got one of those bouncy things in the hotel where the kids can jump around inside. They'll have a great time.
Bianca: You don't have to be the babysitter. If I was here by myself, I would get a sitter to watch them. I can still do that.
Marissa: Absolutely not. It's the least I can do after inviting myself along. Besides, I love hanging out with the girls. They're like family now. Ok? All right, guys, come on! Who wants to swim in the pool?
A.J. and Miranda: Me!
Madison: Thanks for letting me stay here last night, and for the clothes.
Kendall: Oh, it's no problem, really.
Madison: I'm sorry about yesterday. You were right. I wasn't ready to make the presentation. Thanks for bailing me out.
Greenlee: I'm glad you're doing better now.
Kendall: Madison, I hope you're not leaving because of Greenlee.
Madison: No. I got to get to work.
Kendall: Are you sure that's a good idea after what happened to you?
Madison: I'm fine. I got rest, plenty of fluids. I'll be fine. Thank you.
Greenlee: So how did this happen?
Kendall: I was at the park with Griff, and we bumped into Madison. She was out of it, kind of all over the place. And then the next thing we knew, she passed out.
Greenlee: Almost on cue.
Kendall: What is that supposed to mean?
Greenlee: Nothing. Just me being the designated bitch.
Kendall: You think she's faking.
Greenlee: So Madison did freeze up during the presentation, but she managed to pull it together and step aside when it became obvious she couldn't finish -- if that wasn't part of the act.
Kendall: I didn't see Madison at the office, but when I saw her at the park, she was a mess.
Greenlee: Did she see you?
Kendall: I don't know. Maybe. She could have. But, Greenlee, there was no way she was putting on a show.
Greenlee: How do you know?
Kendall: Because Griff was with me. He said she was suffering from exhaustion and dehydration. He's a doctor. He would know.
Greenlee: Then she should've gone to the hospital.
Kendall: The hospital? The same place where she just lost her baby? Look, Greenlee, I know how hard this has been for you, with Ryan and Madison and the whole thing. But if I were in your shoes, I'd probably behave the same way.
Greenlee: And just how am I behaving, Kendall? When I'm nice to Madison, I have some ulterior motive. And if I try to ignore her, then I'm this terrible, terrible person with no compassion for her loss. Either way, she'll find a way to dump a bucket of tears on Ryan.
Kendall: Not this time.
Greenlee: She didn't call him?
Greenlee: She's smarter than I thought.
Randi: There you are.
Randi: Frankie and I got worried when you didn't come home last night.
Madison: I'm sorry.
Randi: Look, Madison, I get it. You wanted to be alone, but you need to stop scaring your friends like that. So what happened? Are you still upset about the presentation?
Madison: I barely remember it. Kendall found me in the park semiconscious.
Randi: Oh, my God, Madison.
Madison: I passed out.
Randi: So what are you doing here?
Madison: Going to work.
Randi: No, no. I'm gonna take you back home.
Madison: No, I'm fine. I got a good night's sleep. I got a coffee and a muffin on the way over here. I'm fine. I just wasn't taking care of myself the way I needed to, that's all.
Randi: What you need is rest.
Madison: I can't.
Randi: Listen, we can cover for you.
Madison: No, I don't need anyone to cover for me. Would you just stop, please? Don't you get it? When I'm here, when I'm working, I can lose myself in it. I can forget. When I'm not here, I'm thinking about Sara. I'm obsessing about the baby and crying about losing her so much that I just want to crawl into a hole and die. So just don't tell me to stop, ok, because I can't. I just can't.
Amanda: Trevor, honey, stay right there. I'm gonna go get your shovel, ok?
Amanda: J.R., stop calling me. Trevor? Honey, where are you? Trevor? Trevor?
Greenlee: I do feel bad for Madison. I've been there, remember? I lost a baby, too.
Greenlee: I just think she's trying to play him. That's all.
Kendall: Ok, I just told you she didn't try to call Ryan.
Greenlee: Oh, believe me, she'll find a way to tell him.
Kendall: Why? Because she's so smart?
Greenlee: And she's a damn good actress.
Kendall: All I'm saying is if she's after Ryan, so what? There is no way she's gonna take him away from you.
Greenlee: Whether she can get Ryan or not, you don't have to help her try. [Slams front door]
Colby: Hey, Maya, I know you're busy working, and I really don't want to interrupt, but I just want to show you some stuff.
Maya: What stuff?
Colby: They're posts and tweets and texts that are all on my Vlog -- "Break-off Girl Fights Back."
Maya: I would really like that --
Colby: It'll only take a few minutes. Come on.
Colby: Ok. So you know that song by Carrie Underwood, "Before He Cheats"? You know? Ok. So this chick -- she added about three new verses when her boyfriend started fooling around. She didn't stop at both headlights: Took out the whole engine.
Maya: Oh, no.
Colby: It serves him right, though. Oh, and this guy is -- he is -- wow. He is such a prince. He runs up a huge debt on her credit cards, and then dumps her when they're all maxed out. What? What should I say? I should say, "Throw that sponge in the kitchen sink." Ok. Wow, ok. This one right here is from a girl whose guy gets physical with her, and not in a good way. Wow. Anyways, her friends all tell her to dump him, but then he brings her flowers or something and everything's cool.
Colby: "Kick him to the curb, Girlfriend, and don't look back."
Maya: What if he really loves her?
Maya: What if he loves her and she loves him?
Colby: You're kidding, right?
Jake: I'm gonna ask you one more time, Janine. Did you or did you not page me?
Janine: No, Doctor.
Jake: It wasn't you? Was it Hayward? Is Hayward here?
Janine: Dr. Hayward hasn't been in today.
Jake: Who else has been here? Anybody else behind the desk? Hello, hello. Was it you?
Opal: "Was it me" what?
Jake: Was it you who paged me? Because somebody paged me to come down here and nobody's owning up to it.
Opal: Of course, it wasn't me, no, but I'm always happy to see your gorgeous mug.
Jake: Oh, thank you. I am looking for a publicist. Maybe you'd be the perfect candidate.
Opal: A fellow could do worse, you know?
Jake: I know.
Opal: So did you make your reservations?
Jake: For the -- I was --
Opal: You and Amanda, the second honeymoon -- expensive, romantic, just the two of you. I was gonna watch Trevor, but I need the dates.
Jake: Yeah, I don't think we're gonna do that now, because it's not really the best time.
Opal: Why not?
Jake: It's just with everything that's going on --
Opal: What? What's going on? Did something happen with you and Amanda?
Jake: No, no. I'm talking about Hayward coming back to the hospital.
Opal: Oh, Hayward. The very idea of Erica signing off on that? That is beyond my powers of understanding.
Jake: I don't understand it myself, but everything will be fine.
Opal: I'm glad to hear that everything's fine with you and Amanda, because you know as well as I do that that rat Hayward is gonna make it his business to do all the dirt he can to you.
Jake: Don't I know it. As long as we love each other, and we take care of our family, that rat bastard can't hurt me. Ok?
Amanda: Trevor, where are you? Oh, my God. Trevor? Oh, my God.
J.R.: Hey, there's your mommy.
Amanda: Come here, honey. Hi!
J.R.: He looks fine.
Amanda: Yes, you are. I got him! You see your friend Riley right there? You watch him for a second? Be right back. You son of a bitch. You had to have heard me calling his name.
J.R.: And here we all are, safe and sound. So what's your problem?
Amanda: You know what my problem is.
J.R.: Yeah, it's your guilty conscience. I have one, too, Amanda, but I'm not gonna let it ruin the rest of my life.
Amanda: I'm going to tell Jake what happened between us.
J.R.: Which means you haven't?
Amanda: I will tell him.
J.R.: Ok, fine. You go ahead and do that, but you just had a small taste of what it would be like to lose a child. You tell Jake the truth, that could become your reality.
Bianca: What happened?
Marissa: She fell and skinned her knee.
Bianca: Oh. How about I find you a bandage, ok?
Marissa: Oh, sweetie, I know it hurts. It used to happen to me all the time when I was a little girl. But my mom used to tell me to close my eyes and think of something really fun. Can you do that? Oh, come on. Just close your eyes. Ok. Think of the best time you've ever had with your mom and your sister. Yeah? Ok. All right. Now open your eyes. You feel better?
Miranda: Can I go play?
Bianca: Hold on just one second, baby. Oops. Ok. Now you can. Be careful.
Marissa: Oh, wait, Bianca. You got some blood on your sleeve.
Bianca: Uh, that's ok. I'll take care of it.
Marissa: It's really not a big deal. Just hang on. See? Good as new.
Bianca: Um --
Marissa: Hey, what's going on?
Bianca: I'm just running late.
Marissa: No, I don't mean that. I mean when I was holding your hand just now, you pulled it away like I was on fire. Why did you do that?
Randi: I remember how difficult it was when I miscarried.
Madison: And I was to blame.
Randi: At the time, yeah, I blamed you. But the doctor said it was nobody's fault.
Madison: Yeah. Doctors told me the same thing.
Randi: What I'm trying to say is having Frankie and his family really helped me through it. They were my support team. You need the same thing.
Madison: I don't have a family.
Randi: You have Scott.
Madison: No, I don't.
Randi: Madison, he loves you, and he wants to help you. You should call him.
Madison: I've told you a million times seeing Scott just makes me feel even worse. It just reminds me of how things started between us and who set that all up.
Randi: Here are all the messages from the mother-and-baby pitch. You were a huge hit.
Greenlee: Let's keep the momentum going. Who's handling the callbacks?
Madison: I can. It'll give me a chance to make up for yesterday.
Greenlee: Fine. Go ahead. Can you bring me the sketches on the new moisturizer line? I'm still not happy with the packaging.
Randi: Sure thing.
Madison: I'm sure Kendall told you why I was at her place.
Greenlee: Yeah. You fainted in the park. It's a good thing she and her doctor friend were there.
Madison: Yeah, it was.
Greenlee: And you're feeling better now?
Madison: Yeah, I am, thank you.
Greenlee: Good. Oh, did you bring the proofs, by any chance?
Greenlee: The printer said they were ready yesterday.
Madison: No, no, I didn't, but I could go pick them up right now.
Greenlee: That'd be great. We really need to get moving on this.
Greenlee: I thought you weren't coming in.
Kendall: I wasn't.
Greenlee: Then why are you here?
Kendall: To finish our conversation.
Greenlee: We did. There's nothing left to say.
Kendall: Oh, yes, there is. I think there is plenty more to say, and you better start talking before you explode.
Greenlee: Kendall --
Kendall: Come on, Greenlee. Tick, tick, boom. Come on. Let's go. Start talking. Now.
Colby: So you're saying that someone can stay with someone even when they hit them?
Maya: I just meant it wasn't that simple. Ok?
Colby: But you said, "If he loves her -- "
Colby: So I don't know. I just -- I mean, how can you love somebody when they beat the crap out of you?
Maya: I don't know, ok? Excuse me.
Colby: Maya, I just -- is this about your bruises, because I notice that you have a new one.
Maya: I don't know what you're talking about.
Colby: Maya, is someone hitting you? I just want to know. Maybe I can help.
Maya: There's nothing wrong, all right?
Colby: I'm just worried about you. That's all.
Maya: There's nothing to worry about. I'm fine.
Colby: Who's calling you, Maya? And why are you so scared to answer?
Amanda: You scared me out of my mind on purpose?
J.R.: I'm just laying out the facts. You tell Jake what we did, he can go after full custody.
Amanda: He would never do that.
J.R.: I never thought Marissa would, till she did.
Amanda: I'll take my chances.
J.R.: Really? Really? Given your past? Let's not even mention your mother's colorful history.
Amanda: You bastard.
J.R.: You have to take all of this into consideration. Jake could end up with Cara -- who, by the way, I hear is great with kids -- all because you had to clear your conscience.
Amanda: At least I have one.
J.R.: I'm looking out for the both of us here.
Amanda: You don't care what happens to me. This is all about you and Marissa. What will happen when she finds out you haven't changed at all?
J.R.: I have changed. And I will not lose my family.
Amanda: That's not my problem. Trevor, honey, it's time to go!
J.R.: You listen to me here, Amanda.
Amanda: You listen to me. Don't call me again.
J.R.: All right, that's fine. Just think about what I said. You think about it.
Bianca: I'm sorry if I seem a little jumpy.
Marissa: What is it? Can I help?
Bianca: I just get nervous before these big donor meetings. And then with Miranda getting hurt and --
Marissa: Oh, I am so sorry about the girls.
Bianca: No, it's not your fault. And I feel ok now.
Marissa: No, you don't. I think my bracelet will look fabulous, make your outfit absolutely stunning. Let's see here.
Bianca: Thanks. I'll do it.
Marissa: Great. Beautiful. Now, go pry open those checkbooks. And don't worry about the girls. I promise, no more injuries.
Bianca: I'm not worried.
Marissa: Ok, good. All right, who wants the beach ball?
Amanda: Ok, we're gonna get some ice cream and wait for your daddy, ok?
Amanda: I told you to leave me alone.
J.R.: You know me better than that.
Amanda: Yes, unfortunately, I do.
J.R.: What happened with us was a one-time thing because we were hurt.
Amanda: So that makes it ok?
J.R.: No. I thought I was gonna lose Marissa, you thought that you could lose Jake. Of course, I don't want Marissa to find out. It'll hurt her. It'll hurt A.J. It'll break up a family who's just about to come back together again.
Amanda: J.R., I can't lie to my husband about this.
J.R.: Even if it means ruining your life?
Amanda: No, of course, you wouldn't understand, because lying is all you do. You don't know what it's like to have a real relationship, to really trust someone.
J.R.: And you do, I suppose? If that was the case, why did you have sex with me?
Jake: Hey. What's going on? So what's going on? You harassing my wife?
J.R.: No. Amanda and I were just discussing a P.R. dilemma.
Jake: Hmm. And that can't wait until you guys are actually at work?
J.R.: No, it couldn't. Sometimes when there's a lot at stake, decisions can't be postponed.
Jake: You all right?
Jake: Yeah? So all those phone calls -- they were from J.R., weren't they? Why don't I go have a little chat with him. Maybe I can make the message a little clearer. All right?
Amanda: You know what? It's my job. Let me handle it.
Jake: Yeah? Ok.
J.R.: Can I have a large coffee to go, please?
Amanda: You win.
Kendall: Ok. While your manicurist trouble is incredibly interesting, can you just move on, please?
Greenlee: What do you want me to say?
Kendall: I don't know. How about you, Ryan, Madison?
Greenlee: Perfect. That's perfect, because that's my favorite subject.
Kendall: How are you afraid of her?
Greenlee: Listen, I'm not afraid of losing Ryan to Madison -- especially after yesterday.
Kendall: What happened yesterday?
Greenlee: Ryan admitted he's been focusing too much on everything else but us. He apologized, we moved forward, so that isn't a problem at all.
Kendall: All right. Then what is a problem?
Greenlee: Have you ever known anyone that is completely clueless? You talk to them, you reason with them, you even draw them pictures, and still they're completely clueless? That's Madison.
Kendall: Can you explain, please?
Greenlee: Ok, Ryan is a great guy.
Kendall: Yeah. All right. No argument there.
Greenlee: And he's done everything he can to be supportive of Madison, to be a friend to her, and yet she still wants more than that.
Kendall: Ok, this is the part where you completely lose me.
Greenlee: Ok, so maybe Madison didn't call him this time. But I know she will find a way to let him know what happened -- how poor, poor Madison wasn't eating, wasn't sleeping, and she didn't want to bother him, because she's so noble and wonderful.
Kendall: Or maybe she really didn't want to bother him.
Greenlee: I don't believe that. I absolutely think she will stop at nothing to get Ryan's attention, and now that the baby's gone, God knows what she'll think of next.
Kendall: My God, do you ever listen to yourself, Greenlee?
Kendall: You are completely full of it. You know that, right? You are going on and on about Madison, when you've got a guy who loves you, a guy at home who loves you, who keeps telling you how much he loves you. What the hell is wrong with you? Instead of worrying so much about Madison, why don't you just be grateful for how lucky you are?
Maya: Just please leave me alone. All right?
Colby: Maya, is this person the reason you didn't go home last night?
Maya: Why do you care what I do? I work for your family.
Colby: Because, Maya, I'm your friend. I am your friend, and I just want to help. That's all.
Maya: You can't help me. No one can.
Marissa: Hey. Kids are all conked out in the other room. Come join me before we get called to active mom duty again.
Marissa: How was your meeting?
Bianca: Uh, long but ok.
Bianca: Were the kids all right?
Marissa: Yeah. They were sweethearts.
Marissa: So what are you doing all the way over there?
Marissa: Come here. Get comfortable. Lie down. Come on.
Bianca: All right.
Colby: Maya, if someone is hurting you, you need to call the police, ok?
Maya: No. Please don't call the police.
Colby: Maya, I'm just trying to help. That's all.
Maya: You need to promise me that you won't call them.
Colby: Ok. Ok, I won't. I won't.
Maya: You just don't understand.
Colby: No, I don't. I don't understand at all, but I'm trying to. And I respect you. So if you ever want to talk about it, I'm here for you. Ok? I'm --
Maya: There's nothing to talk about, ok, because there's no one hurting me.
Greenlee: You don't have to remind me how lucky I am.
Kendall: Yeah? Apparently, I do. You just told me that Ryan apologized to you for not paying attention to the two of you and saying how much he loves you, and you're still going on and on about Madison.
Greenlee: It bothers me she still thinks she can have him.
Kendall: Then get over it.
Greenlee: Don't tell me you wouldn't feel the same.
Kendall: Ok, maybe I would. But I would get over it in a day or two. I would. Come on, Greenlee. You are living with the love of your life. I would give anything for that.
Greenlee: I'm sorry.
Kendall: No, don't apologize.
Greenlee: No, but you're right. I know you are, and I should be happy -- I am happy. It's just --
Kendall: What? Why can we not just appreciate what is right in front of us in the moment? Why do we do that? We're wasting so much time. The next time that you start worrying about someone wanting Ryan, just remember he goes home to you. He is in love with you. The two of you have each other, and most people would give anything for that.
J.R.: I win? What, exactly?
Amanda: I won't tell Jake what happened.
J.R.: What made you change your mind?
Amanda: I don't know. Fear? Not wanting to see the look on his face when he sees that I've betrayed him? The selfishness -- that's something we're both really good at.
J.R.: No. I call it being smart.
Amanda: Of course, you would.
J.R.: I also call it someone who cares about her family just like I care about mine.
Amanda: You can stop selling, J.R. I'm in, ok? This didn't happen. We did not have sex -- at least that's what I'll keep telling myself, anyway.
J.R.: In time, it'll all go away.
Amanda: Do you really believe that?
J.R.: We have to.
[TV turns off]
Marissa: Are you ok?
Bianca: I just -- I can't do this anymore.
Marissa: Do what?
Bianca: Us -- you and me.
Marissa: What about the two of us?
Bianca: I've wanted to say something for a while. I just -- I didn't know how.
Marissa: Oh. It's the bracelet, huh? You hate it. You just wore it to be nice.
Bianca: No, the bracelet's perfect. Actually, it's more than perfect. It's probably the reason the meeting was such a success -- they donated a ton of money to the Miranda Center.
Marissa: Oh. One bracelet did all of that, huh? I don't know. Something tells me it was you with the charm and the beauty and the brains package that did it.
Bianca: Whatever it was, thanks for letting me borrow it.
Marissa: Oh, keep it on. It looks really pretty on you.
Bianca: Ok, this is what I'm talking about.
Marissa: "This" what? You've officially lost me.
Bianca: I'm just gonna say it, put it out there.
Marissa: Ok. Put what out where?
Bianca: Our friendship means so much to me --
Marissa: Me, too.
Bianca: But there's nothing I want to do to ruin that.
Marissa: Why would it?
Bianca: It's just that it's starting to affect the way that I behave around you, and that's the last thing I want, for there to be a wall between us.
Marissa: Is something wrong? Did I do something to upset you?
Bianca: No. No, you've done nothing wrong. You're great. You're amazing. My best friend, right? And it's nothing earth-shattering or terrible or anything, and I certainly don't expect anything to come from it, but I just want you to know -- that I'm attracted to you.
