Bianca: Kendall? I got your text. The kids are saving ice cream for you. Kendall? That's weird.

Ricky: Welcome aboard.

J.R.: And I'm having an intercom installed in Asher's room, so make sure you keep your ear out no matter where you are, what you're doing.

Maya: Got it.

J.R.: And get Lucretia to stock up on his favorite foods. I'll get you the list.

Maya: Yes, sir. Anything else?

J.R.: I'm sure I'll think of something. Thanks, Maya.

Marissa: Hi, Maya.

Maya: Hi.

J.R.: Hey. Sorry. It's been really busy this morning trying to get the house ready for Asher to come home to.

Marissa: I think it's really sweet that you're taking care of him like this.

J.R.: He's family.

Marissa: I don't think I told you how impressed I was, hearing how you rushed in like that and risked your own life to save his? You just never stop surprising me, J.R.

Scott: Hope I'm not interrupting.

[Baby fusses]

Nurse: Which one is yours? Would you like me to bring your baby closer to the window?

David: Nurse. That's enough. I heard about your little girl. I'm very sorry.

Madison: Where the hell do you get off even talking to me?

Ryan: I can't really talk about caskets over the phone, ok? And I need to check in with the baby's mother anyway. So how about I do that, and then I come down to the funeral home in person once I know the specifics? Ok, thank you.

Greenlee: I'll go with you, or I'll do it for you. I'll take care of everything if you want.

Ryan: No. No. I may not have been there for the baby at the beginning, but I'm gonna be there for her now.

Kendall: You let go of me! Where the hell do you get off dragging me around like that?

Griffin: You got a better way to keep you from making the biggest mistake of your life?

Kendall: This is the only choice that I have left.

Griffin: Yeah? Pulling a gun on Ricky, trying to force a confession out of him? It's insane, and I'm not gonna let you try it!

Kendall: Give me the gun!

Griffin: You may be dead set on self-destruction, but whatever it takes, I'm gonna stop you.

Ricky: What's the matter? You look perplexed.

Bianca: I -- I just didn't expect to see you here with Kendall, that's all.

Ricky: Kendall? Oh, no, no. Kendall's not here.

Bianca: Well, she texted me. She said she wanted me to meet her here. She said she wanted to talk to me alone -- you sent me that text, didn't you?

Ricky: Guilty as charged.

Bianca: Why would you do that: Trick me into thinking Kendall wanted to see me?

Ricky: Because you would've never come if you knew it was me.

Bianca: What makes you think that?

Ricky: Come on, Bianca. We've done this dance before. You have some issue with me. You even warned your daughters to stay away from me.

Bianca: Oh, you must've misunderstood.

Ricky: No, no, you were pretty clear. And you know what? I'm hurt, because you're my future sister-in-law, and you're filling your daughters' heads with awful things about me. And why, when all I've done is be supportive of Kendall and your family.

Bianca: I never said that you weren't supportive.

Ricky: But there's something that you don't like about me. So why don't we just cut to the chase, and you just tell me what it is? Tell me, Bianca, what deep, dark secret do you think I'm hiding?

Kendall: We don't have any time left. He's already growing suspicious. This whole surprise wedding escalated things.

Griffin: Exactly. Not the time to introduce a loaded weapon into the mix, after you turned him down at the altar?

Kendall: I didn't turn him down. I put him off again. How many times do you think I'll be able to do that?

Griffin: Let's not find out when you're alone with him on a boat miles from land.

Kendall: Ok, you're not getting it, Griffin. This has to be it, ok? I can't do this anymore. I can't keep this act up anymore. The longer I wear this ring -- it's like it's burning a hole through my hand. It's a slap in the face to Zach and to my boys. I can't let Ricky tell them that we're getting married. I can't do this. This has got to end, Griffin, one way or the other.

Maya: I am so sorry, Mr. Chandler. He just walked in when I answered the door.

J.R.: It's ok, Maya. Thank you.

Marissa: You don't look good. What's wrong?

Scott: Could we have a minute?

J.R.: I need to keep surprising you anyway.

Scott: What's going on with you two?

Marissa: Just don't start. What's wrong? Is it the baby?

Scott: Uh, yes. Um -- she didn't make it. She, uh, she died last night, so --

Marissa: Oh, my God. Oh, my God, Scott, I am so sorry. Madison must be a wreck. Why are you here? Why aren't you with her? She's still keeping you away?

Scott: Yeah. So I'm just gonna give her the space that she needs right now. I guess that's why I'm here. I got to keep busy, or I'm gonna go crazy. I'm gonna start work on the gatehouse. I just wanted you to know that.

Marissa: Wait, Scott. Listen. I know that baby meant a lot to you, too. If you need anything, if you even need to stay here for a little while --

Scott: Oh, no, thank you. Thank you. Even though Madison says she doesn't want me around, I'm gonna be there for her. I'm not gonna run away.

Marissa: Just know that there are people here who care about you, especially me.

Madison: You started this. This is all because of you.

David: I'm sorry. I don't understand.

Madison: You were the one who blackmailed me to begin with to seduce Ryan, because you wanted your precious Greenlee all to yourself. Look where it's led us. My poor baby -- go away. Leave me alone.

David: I wouldn't wish this pain on anyone.

Madison: Just stop. All you've ever cared about is yourself.

David: I know exactly how you feel, Madison. I lost a little girl, too.

Greenlee: Where are you going?

Ryan: I'm gonna go see Madison. We got some arrangements to make as parents.

Greenlee: Do you really think she can handle that right now?

Ryan: She has to be a part of it.

Greenlee: Maybe I can help.

Ryan: You don't have to go through this. I'm gonna take care of everything, ok?

Greenlee: I'm sure you can, but I want to be there in case you need anything.

Ryan: Greenlee, please, really. I'm not trying to be mean, and I definitely don't want to hurt you. But considering everything that's happened here, I kind of need to do this alone. Ok?

Greenlee: Yeah. Sure.

David: I so believed I could save her. I did once before when she was still in the womb, but they wouldn't let me. I wasn't allowed. So my little girl -- she died on the operating table. There wasn't a damn thing I could do about it. So ever since that day, I feel like the best part of me disappeared. Whenever I see a little girl with a father, I hear that voice in my head asking, "Why? Why did this have to happen?" People are gonna tell you they know how terrible you must feel. That's a bunch of nonsense. They can't know. How could they? But I do, Madison. That's why I came today, to tell you that someone is here that knows your pain.

Madison: It's never gonna go away, is it?

David: No. But you will learn to live with it. And for what it's worth, I am sorry for pushing you to Ryan. If I had known that it would turn out like this --

Madison: You would've still pushed me to go ahead and do it anyway. We both know that.

David: Maybe you're right. When you've lost so many times, you begin to start believing that you need to take.

Scott: I'm gonna go outside, make a list of the materials I need.

J.R.: Why isn't he at the hospital with Madison and the baby?

Marissa: The baby died.

J.R.: Oh, my God. I'm sorry. Then why isn't he there with her? It's not like she has anyone else.

Marissa: She doesn't want to see him.

J.R.: Why? What happened?

Marissa: I don't know. It's not really my place to say. I was hoping that this baby would bring them together, but now I'm afraid this is just gonna push them apart.

J.R.: I'll order some flowers, have them sent over there on the behalf of both of us, if that's ok?

Marissa: Yeah. Thank you. I really hope that she reconsiders. Any woman would be lucky to have Scott in her life.

J.R.: Let's not go nominating him for sainthood. It's not like he's exactly Mr. Perfect.

Marissa: None of us are, J.R., but he has always been there for me. I intend to be there for him, too.

J.R.: That's a big mistake.

Kendall: I will wear the wire. I will do whatever I have to do, but I'm going to make Ricky admit that he killed Zach, and that he set you up.

Griffin: He hasn't given away the slightest hint of admission about anything yet.

Kendall: Yes, but he will. He will once I tell him I'm aware of the crimes that he committed and that I'm ok with it.

Griffin: You're ok with what he did to Zach? Can you even say that without fire coming out of your eyes?

Kendall: Yes, because I have to for Zach. That's how I know I can do it. Griffin, listen to me. You needed me to trust you when you operated on me. I need you to trust me right now.

Griffin: Ok. Ok. We'll do this, but I'm setting down some ground rules.

Kendall: Deal.

Griffin: I'm gonna have Ryan's P.I. disable the boat, so it can't leave the dock. And I'm sneaking on board, so I'll be there with you. We're gonna end this together.

Bianca: I think you're being pretty paranoid, don't you? I mean, I may not think it's a great idea for Kendall to get married again so soon, but I hardly consider you as someone bad or dangerous.

Ricky: But there's something you're keeping from me.

Bianca: I'm a very private person.

Ricky: Bianca, if somebody's been filling your head with stories about me -- maybe Griffin Castillo before he ran away from the law -- then I'd like a chance to defend myself, to clear the air between us.

Bianca: I think the air is as clear as it can be between us, Ricky.

Ricky: Hey! Hey!

Bianca: Aah!

Ricky: You know everything, don't you, Bianca?

Michael: Stupid, self-righteous bitch.

Ricky: I was hoping there wouldn't be any more complications. Oh!

Bianca: Aah! Stop it! Stop it!

Michael's voice: Just relax.

Bianca: Let me go!

Michael's voice: Just relax. Give yourself over to the moment.

Bianca: Get the hell off of me!

Ricky: All right, then. Time to find out who else knows what.

Marissa: Are you warning me away from Scott as a concerned friend or as a jealous ex-husband?

J.R.: I don't do jealousy anymore.

Marissa: Then why?

J.R.: You just got done saying that the loss of this baby is gonna make a reunion more difficult for Scott and Madison.

Marissa: And?

J.R.: And don't you think if you're holding his hand, he's gonna lose focus on getting on track with Madison?

Marissa: Wow. Like I said, you never stop surprising me.

J.R.: You should be thinking about yourself, Marissa. You should be focusing on your own relationships.

Marissa: If, by that, you mean you and me, then we need to better define our relationship. I am a houseguest here. That's all. I am no longer your wife. Whomever I decide to be friends with is none of your business! Clear?! I'm late for a meeting.

Maya: Don't!

J.R.: Sorry. I just got a little frustrated, that's all.

Maya: I guess this is the wrong time to ask --

J.R.: I'm fine right now, Maya.

Scott: Where's Marissa? I need her opinion on something.

Maya: I think she just left.

Scott: Oh. Maybe I can catch her.

J.R.: Let her go.

David: You're right. I am a selfish man. I don't always consider the consequences until they affect me personally. But I am sorry for what you're going through.

Ryan: Just leave her alone, please, Hayward.

David: I'm just expressing my sympathies, Ryan.

Ryan: Save it for somebody gullible enough to believe you.

David: Someday soon, you're gonna want to believe me.

Madison: What did he mean by that?

Ryan: Forget about him. How are you?

Madison: Please don't ask me that. Everyone's been asking me that -- how am I doing? What do I need? Can they do anything for me? Everyone wants answers. I don't have any.

Ryan: Hey, look, if it's easier for you, and you want me to take care of everything -- because you said you wanted to be part of it, the baby's funeral arrangements.

Griffin: Does it work? Were you able to hear me?

Kendall: Yeah. No, I heard you loud and clear.

Griffin: Ok.

Kendall: Thank you.

Griffin: We're not done yet.

Kendall: I know. But for the first time it actually feels like it's really possible, like this is really gonna happen, because of you.

Griffin: When it does, I'm gonna take you somewhere special.

Kendall: "Somewhere special?" Like, what do you mean?

Griffin: You don't have to get dressed up, unless you want to. I'm gonna take you to the state prison so you can take this sham engagement ring and shove it down Ricky's throat.

Kendall: Yeah, I know exactly what to wear.

Griffin: We can't leave together.

Kendall: I know. Well, I guess this is it.

Griffin: See you on the other side.

Marissa: Oh, my God, Bianca! What -- what happened?

Ricky: She passed out. Help me get her inside.

Marissa: Of course. Thank you. We should call 911.

Ricky: I already did. They're on their way.

Marissa: What happened?

Ricky: She came by to talk to me about the wedding, and when she was leaving, she just collapsed in the hallway.

Marissa: She's got a pulse. She's breathing. What's wrong?

Ricky: I have no idea.

Marissa: All right. I'm gonna go tell hotel security --

Ricky: No.

Marissa: What are you talking about? Reverend Torres, what is going on?!

Ricky: You have awful timing, Marissa. I'm sorry. I have to do this.

Kendall: Um, I should -- I should get going.

Griffin: I'll call Ryan's guy, make sure we're all set.

Kendall: Right.

Griffin: See you soon.

Kendall: I'll see you soon.

J.R.: Marissa said she had an important meeting. Is there anything that I can help you with?

Scott: No. She had an idea about the gatehouse a while back, but I guess it can wait.

J.R.: Scott? Marissa told me about the baby. I'm sorry.

Scott: Thank you.

J.R.: She also told me that you and Madison aren't together anymore.

Scott: No, not at the moment.

J.R.: You can take the Chandler Enterprises apartment in London, if you'd like, a few months. It's all yours.

Scott: London? Take off? Maybe just start over?

J.R.: Yeah. I heard it works.

Scott: You would love to see me do that, wouldn't you?

J.R.: I'm just looking out for you.

Scott: Of course, you are. The fact that I'm unattached, being around Marissa -- that doesn't enter in the equation, does it?

J.R.: I can see that this conversation is going nowhere fast. Why don't you go back to the guesthouse and, I don't know, pound some nails?

Scott: Let me tell you something. You're just spinning your wheels with Marissa, ok? You two are done for good.

J.R.: I don't care what you think. You just do it out of my sight!

Scott: This ain't me. This is all Marissa, ok, and she's told you time and time again, yet you don't get it. You don't understand. There's nothing that you can say that's gonna change her mind.

J.R.: Thank you very much, Scott. There's nothing I enjoy more than a challenge.

Greenlee: David, what do you want?

David: Is that any way to talk to an old friend?

Greenlee: Leave me alone.

David: I know how you feel about me, Greenlee. But I also know deep down, you've always understood that I am the one person you could always count on, and that will never change.

Kendall: Ricky? Ricky?

Ricky: Hey. I'm sorry I'm late.

Kendall: No, that's ok. I just got here.

Ricky: Are you as excited as I am about our trip?

Kendall: Yes, of course, I am.

Ricky: Good. Because tonight is gonna be a very special night.

Kendall: Yes, it is.

Greenlee: I don't need a complication like you right now, David.

David: I'm not here to complicate things. I'm here to help.

Greenlee: You can't. So thanks, but good-bye.

David: Stop beating yourself up.

Greenlee: You don't know what I'm doing or what I'm thinking.

David: Actually, I do. And I know Ryan well enough to bet that he's not taking this very well. You keeping his baby's paternity secret from him all these months, I'm guessing his high and mighty moral code is badly bruised.

Greenlee: He wasn't happy about it.

David: Obviously. And he's taking it out on you, am I right?

Greenlee: No. That's where you're wrong.

David: Really?

Greenlee: You really need to leave.

David: If you ever need someone who really understands you, someone you could be your real self with, I'm here for you, Greenlee, and I always will be.

Greenlee: Why are you doing this?

David: Because despite everything that's happened between us, we forged something that can never be broken, something that's greater than any marriage or love affair or blood oath. Ever since I pulled you out of that icy river, we have been and always will be connected on a life-and-death plane.

Greenlee: Good-bye, David. Ohh.

David: You did nothing wrong, Greenlee. Everybody needs to keep secrets sometimes, and believe me, I still have plenty.

Ryan: I think that's all the funeral home needs. I know that wasn't easy for you.

Madison: I'm not the only one feeling this way. I'm so sorry, Ryan.

Scott: Uh, I can come back.

Ryan: No, no, no. It's fine. I was just leaving.

Madison: Thank you for helping me get all that together.

Ryan: You take care of yourself now, ok?

Scott: Hey. I just came by to check on you.

Madison: I wish you would stop.

Scott: I can't.

Madison: How many times do I have to ask you to leave me alone?

Scott: Until you realize it's not gonna make me go away. Madison, I love you. I love you so much, and you can keep telling me that you don't want to see me. You can keep telling me that you want me to go away, but it's not gonna make a difference, because I'm gonna keep coming back. I'm gonna keep coming back until you realize that what we had was real, Madison. And it can be like that again. It can be stronger than ever. But don't you understand? I can't see a future without you in it.

Maya: Oh. I'm sorry, Mr. Chandler. I'll just come clean later.

J.R.: No, it's all right, Maya. I was just about to leave.

Maya: Are you sure you don't want me to have Lucretia fix you something?

J.R.: I'm all right.

Maya: Are you really?

J.R.: Shouldn't I be?

Maya: It's just I overheard what Mrs. Chandler said earlier -- you know, about being just a houseguest here. I am so sorry. I didn't mean to -- this is none of my business. I'm sorry.

J.R.: Maya, wait.

Maya: Please don't be angry. I know I need to learn how to keep my mouth shut.

J.R.: I'm not angry. You're new here. You're still learning the ropes. Look, you're gonna hear all sorts of things around this house -- things that you should hear, things that you shouldn't hear, things that will make hairs on the back of your neck stand up. But no matter what you hear from anybody -- Marissa, Colby, Scott -- family is everything to me. And no one will get in the way of the Chandlers.

Ricky: We need to toast our trip. Cheers.

Kendall: Oh, cheers. All right. So where is the captain of this thing?

Ricky: You are looking at him.

Kendall: Really? You know how to sail this thing?

Ricky: You'd be surprised at all the things that I know how to do. Besides, just you and me -- don't you think that's a lot more adventurous?

Kendall: Yeah. And I could definitely use an adventure. So where are we headed?

Ricky: You trust me, right?

Kendall: Yes. Completely.

Ricky: That's good, because, you know, I was starting to get a little nervous.

Kendall: Why?

Ricky: You called off the wedding.

Kendall: I postponed it.

Ricky: And every day I feel more sure that Bianca doesn't like me.

Kendall: Yeah, I don't care what Bianca or anyone else says.

Ricky: Really?

Kendall: Yeah. Because I know the real you.

Ricky: I want you to hold right there for one second.

Kendall: Oh, what are you doing?

Ricky: What's the matter?

Kendall: Nothing. I'm sorry.

Ricky: I was just trying to put this flower behind your ear.

Kendall: Oh. I don't want to mess up my hair.

Ricky: That would be impossible. So why don't you just let me?

Kendall: Ok. Sure. Um, maybe it would like nice over here on this side.

Ricky: There we go. Let me look at you. Look at that. Perfect.

Griffin: Kendall, can you hear me? Kendall?! Damn it. Come on.

[Ring tone plays]

Griffin: Why aren't you picking up? Tell me you stopped that S.O.B.'s boat.

Ryan: You've been cooking.

Greenlee: Huh. Reheating, actually. I thought you could use some comfort food, so I had a pot roast and some potatoes delivered. You know me.

Ryan: Smells good.

Greenlee: It is. I had a little taste. You want to talk? Ok, you know what? I have a better idea. Let's eat instead.

Ryan: Don't go.

Greenlee: Ok.

Ryan: It, uh -- it was the hardest thing that I've ever had to do.

Greenlee: I'm listening.

Ryan: I've buried people that I loved before, but, uh -- she was just a little baby, you know? And we only knew her a couple days. I kept getting asked these questions about the casket and the flowers and the music and things like that, and -- I, um -- I kept thinking about what she would've looked like when she grew up. What her voice would've sounded like, what it would've been like to hear her laugh.

Madison: After what you did, your little agreement with Greenlee, I have every right to doubt everything you say.

Scott: Yes. Yes, you do.

Madison: But I don't. What we had -- it was more than just a deal. It was something else, something more.

Scott: Right. Then, please, just --

Madison: No, let me finish. What I felt, what I feel -- it's -- it's changed. It's -- that's not what I meant. What I mean, it's -- it's gone. Ok? Now it's nothing. I feel nothing now.

Scott: You just need to give it some more time, that's all.

Madison: I wish people would stop saying that. Time is not gonna change this. It's not gonna take this pain away. It's just gonna dull the pain maybe, but it's not gonna take this away. I wish I could change the way I feel -- about you, about life, about everything -- but I don't know if I am ever gonna feel anything again. Can you understand that?

Scott: That's fair enough. Ahem.

J.R.: This house has seen its fair share of tragedies. But I intend to make it what my father always meant it to be.

Maya: Family should be important.

J.R.: There are summer uniforms.

Maya: Oh. Thin bones -- I catch a cold easily.

J.R.: Whatever works for you.

Maya: Thank you, Mr. Chandler.

Marissa: Bianca? Bianca? Bianca, are you ok?

Ricky's voice: You know everything, don't you, Bianca?

Michael: Stupid, self-righteous bitch

Ricky: I was hoping there wouldn't be any more complications. Oh!

Bianca: Get the hell away from me!

Ricky: Wow. You look beautiful.

Kendall: Thank you.

Ricky: I'll be right back.

Kendall: Ok. Mm-hmm. Great. Griff? Griff, listen. I can't hear you, ok? I don't know if you can hear me, but I cannot hear you. Hold on. Griffin? All right, listen. The earpiece fell in the water, ok, so I'm not gonna be able to hear what you're saying to me. But I'm gonna go ahead, and I'm gonna go along with this, ok, because we have him right where we want him. So, please, just bear with me, all right? Great.

[Boat starts moving]

Kendall: What is going on? We're not supposed to be moving. What is going on?

Ricky: Here we go. Open water, just you and me -- the way it was meant to be.
