J.R.: Nice touch.
Maya: Thank you.
J.R.: There she is.
Maya: I'll get it. Good luck, boss.
J.R.: Ahem. Right on time.
Marissa: For what? Huh. Favorite flowers, favorite food. What is this?
J.R.: Chocolate croissant. How about a cinnamon roll?
Marissa: How about some answers? What you got going on here?
J.R.: It's a celebration.
J.R.: A lot of things. But first of all, I have something that's very important that I'd like to give you, and I'm really hoping that you'll accept.
Krystal: Hey. I didn't expect to hear from you today. Is everything all right?
Jack: Oh, everything's going perfectly here. As a matter of fact, we're just about to start the rehearsal. I just wanted to make sure you were able to switch those court dates around for me.
Krystal: You don't need to worry about that till after your honeymoon.
Jack: Thank you, Krystal. You're a lifesaver as always.
Erica: There's my soon-to-be husband.
Jack: And there's my soon-to-be wife. One second. Come here, you.
Tad: Whoa. What did that poor, defenseless, hardworking coffee cup ever do to you?
Krystal: Not in the mood, Tad.
Tad: I can see that. What's up?
Krystal: Can't I just be having a bad day?
Tad: Hmm. It depends. Are we talking about the kind of day where you have feelings for a certain guy, and you find out he's marrying someone else?
Cara: How was it?
Cara: I'm serious.
Griffin: Oh, so am I. I've always wanted a firmer mattress. Last night I got my wish.
Cara: You know what? Pretty soon you'll be back to that cushy hotel room, as soon as we get you out on bail.
Griffin: You know what would be great also? A confession from the casino guys who set me up for murder. Have you heard from Kendall?
Cara: No. What was she thinking selling you out like that?
Griffin: I'm just glad she made it down to the island. At least there, she'll be safe.
Kendall: Yes, Binks, I'm aware Mom will probably have some last-minute changes I'm sure, but I will be there to help out as soon as I can. I got to change, and then maybe have one cup of coffee. Ok. All right. I'll see you soon. Bye.
Jack: I'm going now. Don't even look at me.
Jack: And it's the Binkster!
Erica: Hey! You look beautiful, sweetheart!
Bianca: Thank you. So much for giving each other space before the big day.
Erica: Jack and I have agreed that we don't care about superstition. And we just don't want to be apart for any longer that we absolutely have to.
Jack: You said it, sister.
Bianca: Could you guys get any cuter?
Jack: No. I don't think we could.
Opal: Holy smoking shish kebab! What are you doing here? You said you weren't coming, said you had some kind of big problem you had to take care of!
Caleb: I took care of the problem, and I got another flight.
Opal: No! No way, José! You said you were not coming. Now, what happened?
Caleb: Somebody reminded me that I should go after what I want, and I want Erica.
J.R.: I got this at my big meeting. Two years' sober.
Marissa: I know you wanted me to come.
J.R.: You don't have to explain. I get it. Whether you were there or not, it doesn't change the fact I wouldn't have this without you -- which is why I want you to have it.
Marissa: Thanks. That means a lot.
J.R.: It means a lot to me, too.
Marissa: I should go.
J.R.: Come on. I did all this work.
Marissa: Oh, yeah? You did all of this?
J.R.: Lucretia and the new housekeeper did so we could celebrate.
Marissa: I'm really happy for you, J.R. Two years is an amazing accomplishment.
J.R.: This isn't about the chip. It's about our victory -- yours, mine, and Bianca's.
Erica: You're absolutely certain you have to go?
Jack: If we ever want to get this show on the road, yes. And I do so badly want to get this show on the road.
Bianca: I am still here. Mom, you will be ok. I'll keep you company. You won't even know he's gone.
Jack: I think that might be a bit of an exaggeration.
Bianca: Would you get out of here already, please?
Jack: Ok. I am going. I'm going. I'm gone.
Erica: Ha ha ha!
Jack: I love you.
Erica: I love you, too.
Bianca: Ok. Bye-bye. Bye-bye. Oh, Mom, you look so happy.
Erica: I am! I am really happy. Oh, I'm sorry.
Bianca: For what?
Erica: This can't be easy for you -- or for Kendall, for that matter -- to have to be here to celebrate my wedding when you both are going through so much.
Bianca: Ok, first of all, we don't have to be anywhere. We want to be here. And secondly, are you kidding? This wedding gives us hope that no matter how many chances we've had, love can find us again.
Erica: Oh, honey, not just "can," "will." Will. And thank you so much for saying all that.
Bianca: I meant every word. And besides, it's me who should be apologizing.
Erica: What in the world do you have to be sorry for?
Bianca: For judging you. Whatever it is with Caleb, it is just so clear that you and Uncle Jack belong together.
Erica: It is, isn't it? Yeah.
Opal: Well -- so there you go. Erica had to switch rooms. She needed a bigger suite for all her shoes and clothes. You know how women are. Take it from me. So good luck.
Caleb: You leaving?
Opal: Yeah. This is an "A" and a "B" conversation, so I'm gonna just "C" my way right on out of here.
Caleb: Uh, Dorothy, it's me. I know you're in there. I've come a long way to see you and climbed a mountain, swam an ocean, slew a dragon. Dorothy, open up. I know you're in there.
Man: Who the hell is Dorothy?
Krystal: You think I'm upset about Jackson and Erica?
Tad: It's nothing to be ashamed of.
Krystal: I'm not ashamed. All right. You want the truth?
Krystal: I could have feelings for him if I thought it would go anywhere, but it can't, so I don't. Do you know how annoying that is when you do that?
Tad: Matter of fact, I do.
Krystal: I like him. Come on. It's not like you haven't moved on. You're married, for God's sake.
Tad: That's not fair. They're not remotely the same. I don't have real feelings for Cara.
Krystal: Oh. Don't you?
Tad: Doesn't work because I did it first.
Krystal: Uh-huh. Yeah, you can dish it out, but you can't take it.
Tad: Hey, Cara.
Cara: Hey, Tad. I'm at the station. You're still coming, yes?
Tad: Yeah. How's he doing?
Cara: Hanging in, acting like it's no big deal, but it is.
Tad: I'll be there soon.
Cara: Great. Thank you.
Tad: Would you knock it off? It's Griffin. It's his bail hearing.
Krystal: Ok. Go. Tell him I said good luck.
Tad: I don't have to leave this minute.
Krystal: I'm fine.
Tad: I know a certain coffee cup would beg to differ.
Krystal: It's time to move on, Tad -- for both of us.
Cara: Tad's on his way.
Griffin: Did he make any progress, find proof that the drugs and the body were planted in my room?
Cara: It didn't sound like it. I still don't understand why Zach's casino partners would set you up like this.
Griffin: Because obviously I got too close. They found out I was on track, and they wanted to put a stop to it.
Cara: We're gonna stop them after the hearing.
Griffin: "We" are not doing anything. I don't want you anywhere near this mess, and that includes the hearing. You're not going.
Cara: The hell I'm not.
Kendall: Thank you for making me do this.
Kendall: Aside from that. No, just relaxing. I haven't been able to do that since I found out about Griff, and I don't want to bring any of that to the wedding.
Ricky: I know, and I promised to keep you calm, happy, and at peace. Remember? And I plan to live up to that promise.
Kendall: Ok. Yeah, I would feel all of those things if I wasn't so damn -- so darn -- if I didn't feel so guilty.
Ricky: You got nothing to be guilty about, Kendall.
Kendall: How can you say that? I made a promise to Griff that I broke. I broke my promise to him that I would not tell anyone about him taking drugs from the hospital.
Ricky: You told the police some pertinent information about a case, a case that your late husband seems to be connected to.
Kendall: I know, and I need answers about Zach. But Griff's my friend. He was my friend.
Ricky: Look, I know that this is difficult, and I'm having a tough time dealing with it myself, but let's not forget that they found a dead woman's body in Griffin's hotel room -- along with a ton of incriminating evidence. Maybe it's time that we accept it, that he might not be who we thought he was.
Kendall: I don't know. Griffin's done so much good, especially for me. He saved my life. He helped my sister, not to mention all of his patients. So if he was set up, then I should --
Ricky: You need to stop this right now. Sorry. I don't mean to cut you off like that. I just hate to listen to you beat yourself up like that when all you did was tell the truth.
Kendall: I know. But what if I made things worse for him?
Ricky: Then he'll find a way to deal with it. He got himself into this mess, right? And let's not forget that he lied to you about at least some of the facts. Come on. Let's get down to what we came here for and have some fun.
Ricky: I'm not trying to tell you what to do, and I'm not trying to tell you how to feel. I know that Griffin's important to you. After all, the guy did save your life. I'm just your neighborhood minister.
Kendall: Would you stop? You are so much more than that. You have been there for me from the very first day, even when I wasn't sure I wanted to have a service for Zach, and you've stuck by me through all of this. So I hope you know how grateful I am.
Ricky: It's been my pleasure.
Griffin: The government is watching your every move. If they find out you're involved --
Cara: You didn't do anything wrong, Griff!
Griffin: I stole drugs, Cara.
Cara: You stole antibiotics, and you sent them overseas to help people! You did not kill that woman!
Griffin: But someone did to shut me up. Because why? Because I got involved with their business. What if they come after you next?
Cara: I can take care of myself.
Griffin: No. I'm not letting you do this. Not now, not ever.
Cara: You got me through the most difficult times of my life. I will get you through this.
Griffin: Cara --
Cara: Don't try to stop me, Griff. You hear me?
J.R.: All right. Drum roll, please? No? Ok. Reese is granting Bianca full custody of Miranda and Gaby.
Marissa: How did you know that?
J.R.: You've already heard?
Marissa: Yeah. Reese's lawyer called me right before I got here.
J.R.: Damn. Then let me be the first to congratulate you.
Marissa: Ha! Thank you. But, seriously, how did you know?
J.R.: You know I offered her that job?
Marissa: Yeah, to keep her plate full. She took it?
J.R.: Yeah. Then I asked her the tough questions, and not just boss to employee, but parent to parent. I was curious how she was gonna plan on juggling the renovation of the European offices. That's an intense job, not to mention the hours are gonna be more demanding than she's ever had.
Marissa: Uh-huh. So you painted a picture for her of how hard it would be to work the way she wants to and also to be a single mom?
J.R.: Yes. And she must've called her lawyer right after we hung up.
J.R.: Ahem. Why don't you seem more happy?
Marissa: I don't know. I barely had time to process the news, and then I come in here to all of this.
J.R.: But you did it, Marissa.
Marissa: Yeah. Yeah, I did it, right? It's happened before, but never with a case this big!
J.R.: A case that you fought all on your own.
Marissa: No, not really. You helped me. Thank you.
J.R.: You're welcome.
Marissa: I won! I won! [Kiss]
Bianca: You ok?
Kendall: Yeah. Yeah. Why wouldn't I be?
Bianca: I don't know. You never really got to talk to me about Griff, why he couldn't come.
Kendall: It's a long story, one not -- it's really not worth getting into right now. Because today is all about you!
Erica: Which is just the way I like it!
Bianca: You? No way.
Erica: You two have no idea how much it means to me to have you both here with me.
Kendall: Mom, there is no place we'd rather be.
Erica: Really? This doesn't seem like some kind of a weird déja vu?
Bianca: If there's one thing I don't mind repeating, it's a wedding for you and Uncle Jack.
Kendall: Hmm. Hear, hear. Indeed. Ok. So how are things on the prep front?
Erica: Aside from having to just finish my vows, I really am in very good shape. However, I do still have to put my earrings on, try them on, pick them out.
Bianca: Where are all the contenders?
Erica: The contenders are actually in my jewelry box in the bathroom. Would you mind? Would you get them, Bianca?
Bianca: I'm on it, Mom.
Erica: Tell me what you think?
Kendall: Subtle, as usual. Very subtle, Mom.
Erica: Ok. So sue me. I did want to have a moment alone with you. How are you doing?
Kendall: I'm on a tropical island, Mom. I'm great.
Erica: It's ok if this is hard.
Kendall: Mom, I'm fine. Really.
Bianca: I know you will have to try these on, ok, but I think these are my favorite.
[Door opens and closes]
Opal: I have got to talk to you. This wedding depends on it.
Maya: Ohh! Sorry, sorry, sorry!
Marissa: We shouldn't have done that.
J.R.: No, don't be mad.
Marissa: No, I'm not mad at you. I'm mad at me for letting this happen. God, what is wrong with me? It's like -- how many times do I have to insist that it's over, and then here I am? Maybe I'm the one who needs a support group.
J.R.: You're addicted to me?
Marissa: No. I'm addicted to something. I'm addicted to this fantasy of you and me and A.J. together like a family.
J.R.: Then don't let go. We should be a family. I know I made a lot of mistakes, but I can make it right. I promise you.
Marissa: No, just stop. No more promises and no more apologies. Just no more. You should keep this.
J.R.: I really wanted you to have this.
Marissa: Yeah, but it's your victory, J.R., not mine. [Runs out and slams door]
Erica: Ok, Opal, out with it.
Opal: Um, could you gals do me a favor? They're setting up downstairs for the big "I dos," and it seems there's -- something kind of looks kind of odd with the -- the chairs.
Kendall: The chairs?
Opal: Yeah. There's either too few or too many or it's both. I'm not sure, but maybe you could just give it a little look-see?
Bianca: Sure. Ok, Opal, we will go check on the chairs.
Kendall: Yeah. Those bows can be very unruly.
Opal: I know.
Kendall: Ok. We're on it.
Opal: All right. Good. See you later.
Erica: Ok. So what's this all about?
Opal: I don't know how it happened, but Mountain Man is here, and he ain't leavin' till he has a face-to-face with you.
[Krystal slams menus]
Marissa: Hey. Everything ok?
Krystal: Why does everybody keep asking me that? I am fan-flippin'-tastic.
Marissa: Ok. Do you happen to know the resort where Erica and Jack are getting married?
Marissa: I have some news for Bianca, but she's not answering her phone. I thought maybe she was already down there?
Krystal: Yeah. No, I'm sure she wanted to get a jump on the weekend. Her mama and Jack don't get married every day, just every 5 years or every 3 years. I don't know. I can't keep up.
Marissa: You're really fired up about this wedding, huh?
Krystal: That's not what it is. I'm just not having a great day. We ran out of flour and the kitchen is backed up and one of the patrons stiffed Maxine.
Marissa: Yeah. My day hasn't been that hot either. Hey, I have an idea, something that'll cheer us both up.
Krystal: Ok. I'm all ears.
Marissa: Why don't we go down to St. Barts? I can talk to Bianca in person, and then we can bond over fruity umbrella drinks. Sound good? I could really get out of town.
Bianca: Why don't you guys join us for some pre-rehearsal mimosas?
Jack: There's an invitation I can't say no to. Shall we?
Bianca: You can't have too many. You're getting married tomorrow.
Jack: What better reason? Ouch.
Ricky: All right. You coming?
Kendall: Yeah. Actually, I want to call Sandra, make sure the boys aren't driving her crazy. All right. I just broke my promise to you, didn't I? Ok. I want to call Griff, and I want to make sure that he's ok. I want to see if he posted bail. Is it less of a sin if I call his sister? Yeah, it's less of a sin if I call his sister, right?
Ricky: You're not gonna do either.
Erica: When you say "Caleb is here," do you mean "here" here, in the hotel?
Opal: I mean as here as "here" can get, yes. I pulled a fast one, sent him to the wrong room, but it won't be long until he hunts you down! So come on! We got to skedaddle!
Erica: Opal, I'm not gonna skedaddle anywhere. This is my room. This is my hotel. This is my wedding. He's the one who's uninvited.
Opal: I know, but please, Erica! This is not the time to go all "hear me roar!" He is a man on a mission, and he ain't gonna stop till he gets it done!
Erica: Opal --
Opal: No, really, I just care too much about you and Jack to have anybody get in the way of your happiness.
Erica: Yeah, Opal -- Opal? Relax. Nothing for you to worry about. I love Jack, and Jack loves me, and we're gonna get married tomorrow. Ok?
Erica: Ok. Yeah. Good. Good. Ok, then. I still do have to finish my vows, and I can't do that if you're here breathing down my neck.
Opal: I hear you. I hear you. All right. Say no more. I see Caleb, I send him on a very wild, very long goose chase.
Erica: You do that.
[Knock on door]
Erica: Opal, did you forget something?
Caleb: No. I remembered something very important.
Kendall: What happened to you not telling me what to do?
Ricky: Heh heh heh. I wouldn't be a friend if I didn't try and spare you.
Kendall: Spare me what?
Ricky: More stress. You've been under a lot of it recently, don't you think?
Kendall: Yeah. Ok. Maybe more than the average person, but I don't think one phone call is gonna put me over the edge.
Ricky: Agreed, because you're not gonna make it. I am.
Jack: I don't know what kind of crisis Opal's cooked up, but your mom and I need to get going. I'm telling you, we're gonna make it to this rehearsal whether Opal approves or not.
Erica: What are you doing here?
Caleb: I'm sure Opal filled you in.
Erica: I'd like to hear it from you, because I told you that this doesn't make any sense, Caleb. I told you I'm marrying Jack.
Caleb: And I'm telling you that's a big mistake.
Kendall: I am not going to let you call Cara. It's not fair for me to ask you to get involved.
Ricky: You didn't ask. I offered, and I don't mind.
Ricky: Would I lie?
Kendall: No. You're not allowed to, so no. All right. Thank you. As if you haven't done enough for me already.
Ricky: Oh, stop. I'll let you know if I hear something, ok?
Kendall: Come here, you. [Hug]
Tad: How you holding up?
Griffin: I'd be better if you had good news.
Tad: Not yet. Come on, guys. A little faith, ok? I've been doing this a long time, and I just got started. You give me a little while, I'll figure out who stuck that body in your room.
Griffin: And the drugs and the cash.
Cara: And the plane tickets.
Tad: I know. Easy. Easy, ok? We know you're innocent. I'm sure Jesse knows you're innocent. All we got to do is prove it.
Griffin: Yeah, I hope so, because I can't keep Kendall safe from behind bars.
Cara: Oh, my God, with Kendall! Can we just focus on you, please? Now, not only do you have Tad, you've got me.
Griffin: That's awesome, Cara. If I ever need medical attention, I'll give you a shout.
Cara: Ok, that's not -- I'm talking about my P.I. skills. Ok? Tell him. Tell him.
Tad: What she lacks in experience she makes up for in enthusiasm.
Cara: You know what? We will get you through this on my honor, Griff.
Griffin: You know what I need to do? I need to call Angie. She's gonna need a replacement, Cara.
Tad: No, you're fine. We were with Jesse when he got the call about the body. I'm sure by now Angela knows what's going on.
Griffin: Fine, but my patients are depending on me. I can't let them down. Will you touch base, please?
Cara: Yeah. Whatever you need. Excuse me.
Griffin: There's something else.
Tad: I figured. What is it?
Griffin: Keep my sister out of this.
Tad: Sure. I'll just change into my red cape, break a date with Lois Lane. Have you ever met your sister?
Griffin: Tad, I'm not saying it's gonna be easy. Ok? But if something happens to her because of me -- I've always kept an eye on Cara. If I don't make bail --
Tad: Griff, you got to remember one thing. Your sister now has me, ok? I've got her back like I got yours.
Tad: You don't have to thank me. For God's sake, we're family.
Cara: We need to go. We don't want to be late, you know?
Maya: Please tell me I'm not fired. I didn't mean to interrupt. I had no idea you were busy. I'm so sorry.
J.R.: I'm not gonna fire you. I'm in too good of a mood to fire anybody.
Maya: Thank you. Your ex didn't even take the flowers.
J.R.: No, but they did the trick. Take them home. They're yours.
Asher: Maya, hey.
Asher: So I guess this means you got the job.
Maya: Housekeeper number seven -- that's me. Thank you for hooking it up.
Asher: Of course. No problem. Hey, can you take a break? I was just gonna go get some food.
Maya: I have to work.
Asher: Come on. You can take 15 minutes to grab a sandwich.
Maya: Actually, I'm just gonna eat one of these while I clean. I really can't lose this job. You wouldn't understand, but trust me.
Asher: You think I wouldn't understand? You think I had fresh flowers on my table and silver knives to spread my peanut butter? Uh-uh. Everything I got, I got on my own.
Maya: I'm sorry. I didn't mean to --
Asher: No worries. I got this whole rich-kid swagger going on.
Maya: I thought maybe you were different. I guess that's why.
Jack: Whoa there. So you're not holding my bride-to-be hostage, huh?
Opal: Me? Don't be silly. No, she's just putting the finishing touches on her wedding vows. You done with yours?
Jack: Yeah. Actually, you know what? It'd be great if you would listen to them for me, if you don't mind?
Opal: Oh. I'd be honored, of course. But wouldn't you rather share them with your bride. Just think how romantic and --
Jack: Oh, no. I want these vows to be a surprise.
Opal: If you ask me, surprises can be overrated.
Caleb: Oh, you think I haven't heard you, but I have.
Erica: Then you shouldn't have flown all the way down here. I'm about to marry a man I adore, the man I'm supposed to be with.
Caleb: The man you think you're supposed to be with.
Erica: And I'm just supposed to take your word for what's going on in my heart?
Caleb: I'll give you a lot more than my word. [Kiss]
Bob: Sorry I couldn't do more. We'll get 'em at the trial.
Cara: I can't believe you didn't make bail. What's wrong with people?
Griffin: Honestly, right now my concern is Kendall.
Cara: Like she was really concerned for you, Griff!
Griffin: Cara, you're angry. I get it.
Cara: What I don't get is why you're not angry!
Griffin: Because she's in danger.
Tad: Griffin, listen. Your sister's right. You got to stay focused. This is not about Kendall, it's about you.
Cara: Thank you.
Tad: When she gets back from her mother's wedding, I'll do everything in my power to keep her safe.
Griffin: Let's hope that's enough.
Ricky: Look, this is hopeless. I'm just gonna sit here and watch you do it.
Kendall: Yes, because that is just so much fun.
Ricky: Hey, it is for me. And you look so beautiful standing there.
Kendall: Thank you. You are good for me. You know that?
Ricky: So your mind's not back on a certain doctor?
Kendall: Um, ok. I wasn't gonna say anything, I wasn't gonna ask you, because you told me that you would tell me, but I can't stop thinking about it. Have you heard anything from Griffin?
Ricky: No. I left a message on his sister's cell phone. Hopefully, she'll get back to me.
Kendall: Ok. I'm sorry. Patience is definitely not one of my strong suits.
Ricky: Ohh. It's one of my parishioners. Would you excuse me?
Kendall: Of course.
Ricky: Thank you. Ahem. What do you got? Hmm. No bail for the doctor, huh? His sister has to be very upset. Jail's a scary place. If I were a betting man, I'd say that Castillo's number is up. Make it happen.
Asher: She's cute, isn't she?
Asher: That's Colby, J.R.'s sister. She lives here, too. She's pretty cool. Ohh. Not so young anymore, not so innocent.
Maya: Real pretty family.
J.R.: Wait. She went where? No. No message. Ohh. Fire up the Chandler jet. I'm on my way.
Bianca: What are you --
Marissa: What? A girl can't have some fun in the sun?
Bianca: Are you here by yourself?
Marissa: I tried to get Krystal to come with me, but she wasn't up for it.
Bianca: And you just picked this island, this resort?
Marissa: It wasn't entirely coincidence. I did have some business that I had to relate to one of my clients. Luckily, I ran into her right away. And it's a good thing you're sitting down, too, because you're not gonna believe this.
Opal: Oh, it's just beautiful. It just was -- well, look at me, a loss for words!
Jack: I'll take that as high praise, indeed.
Opal: You should. I just hope Erica gets a chance to hear them.
Jack: Why would you say that? Why wouldn't she get a chance to hear them?
Opal: You know how it is to be the bride.
Opal: There's always so much going on that sometimes you forget to savor the moment.
Jack: Yeah. No, listen. I promise you we will both savor the moment. Thank you so much for listening to that. I better get this rehearsal going. I don't want my bride to think I'm standing her up.
Opal: You do that.
Caleb: Tell me again you think I made this trip for nothing.
Erica: You should go.
Caleb: Dorothy, I didn't think it was possible for me to ever feel this way again. I know I said I'd wait, but why waste time?
Erica: Caleb --
Caleb: Listen to me. Why do what you've always done? Give us a chance. Try something new. Be with me.
