[Phone rings]

Caleb's voice: You read the article. 20 years ago, the mine blew up. She died, and it was my fault.

Jack: Everything ok?

Erica: [Gasps] Oh, you scared me.

Jack: Certainly not my intention.

Erica: Oh, well, I was just trying to call Caleb. No answer.

Jack: And you're worried?

Erica: A little.

Jack: I don't suppose you'd like to tell me why?

[Doorbell rings]

Caleb: Trick or treat.

Krystal: We-e-el, look at you. I thought you would be boycotting this day.

Caleb: Well, clearly, you're not. Have a cavity.

Krystal: No, thanks. I just came to see Marissa.

Caleb: Didn't you just leave her?

Krystal: No, I thought she was here with A.J.

Caleb: No, she -- she took off. She got a message saying you needed some supplies.

Krystal: I don't need any supplies.

Caleb: Well, then what?

Nanny: Hey, have either of you guys seen A.J.?

Caleb: What do you mean? He's not with you?

Nanny: Well, no, he's not anywhere. He's gone.

Asher: Whew.

A.J.: Is Daddy here?

Asher: Not yet, little man, but he's going to be here really soon.

[Phone rings]

Asher: Hey, boss, we're right outside the office door.

J.R.: No problems so far?

Asher: I talked to security and made sure that no one's coming in here without authorization. Everything cool over there?

J.R.: For now. How's A.J.?

Asher: He's great.

A.J.: Is that Daddy?

Asher: He's super psyched to see you -- yeah..

A.J.: Can I talk to him?

Asher: Sure.

A.J.: Hi, Daddy.

J.R.: Hey, bud. Listen, I'm going to be there just as soon as I can. I have to play one quick game first.

A.J.: What kind of game?

J.R.: I'll tell you all about that later. You be good for Asher till I get there, ok?

A.J.: Ok. Love you.

J.R.: I love you, too, son.

Asher: You know, I hear that there's an office chair with your name on it.

Colby: Hi.

Asher: Hi.

Colby: I didn't expect to see you here.

A.J.: Hi, Aunt Colby.

Colby: Hey, A.J. [Giggles]

Kendall: What? You think you saw somebody?

Zach: Probably some kids wanting to egg the house. Go upstairs.

Kendall: No. No, there's no way. I'm not leaving you.

Zach: Stay away from the door.

Kendall: Wait, wait, wait. Zach, take this.

Ryan: Do I even want to know?

Greenlee: Hi.

Madison: Hi.

Greenlee: Ryan around?

Madison: No.

Greenlee: What are you doing?

Madison: What does it look like? I'm packing?

Greenlee: Are you guys going somewhere?

Madison: Just me. You didn't hear -- Ryan and I broke up.

Krystal: Anything?

Caleb: No, he's not here.

Krystal: Ugh. J.R.! Marissa is going to blow a gasket.

Caleb: Hold off. Hold off on that.

Krystal: What? If Marissa's son is stolen, she needs to know.

Caleb: Listen, in the time that it'll take to track Marissa down, we could get her son back here. And we could put J.R. where he belongs -- in jail.

A.J.: I'm waiting for Daddy.

Colby: Oh, you are? Is it like a little Halloween get-together?

A.J.: Yup.

Colby: Oh, that is so cool. Is your mommy coming?

A.J.: Hmm, I don't know.

Colby: Well, I have a really good idea. Why don't we all go inside and wait for Dad together? What do you say?

A.J.: Ok.

Colby: Yeah. Come on, let's go. This isn't going to end well.

Erica: Well, I don't have to tell you that Caleb is complicated. And lately, something has been bothering him, and I'm concerned about the consequences.

Jack: I'm not quite sure what you mean.

Erica: Well, it's no secret that when the going got tough, Caleb got going. I mean, he disappeared to that mountain once. I cannot have him doing that again.

Jack: Well, you're a good friend.

Erica: No, I'm a smart partner. Because in order to get Cortlandt Electronics back, I need Caleb to be here, both physically and emotionally. I need him to focus on his work, not be all distracted by some personal issues.

Jack: Sometimes, it's not so easy to separate the two.

Erica: You're dreading tomorrow, aren't you?

Jack: Just the very thought of saying those words -- "The defense calls Greenlee Hayward" -- but in all honesty, it's her only chance.

Greenlee: Wow, I can't -- who did it?

Madison: What?

Greenlee: Did Ryan break up with you, or did you -- I guess it doesn't matter.

Madison: No. No, not really.

Greenlee: Are you ok?

Madison: It was the best thing, for everyone.

Greenlee: Yeah, well, still, that doesn't make it any -- I'm not being very helpful, am I?

Madison: I don't need your help, I just need to get out of here.

Greenlee: Ok. Well, I should get home and rest for the trial, anyway, so I'll just get out of your way.

Madison: He could go to prison, you know. Ryan, father of two, made himself look guilty of murder. They could send him away for, I don't even know how long.

Greenlee: I won't let that happen.

Madison: It's out of your hands. Ryan's already made his choice.

Greenlee: I know what it's like. To love Ryan and to lose him --

Madison: Please, the last thing I need is your fake sympathy.

Greenlee: It's not fake.

Madison: Ryan and I are over. So pop the champagne. You finally got what you wanted.

Ryan: Who did you think I was?

Kendall: I don't know -- some freak or animal or something. It is Halloween.

Zach: Did you see anyone out there?

Ryan: You mean other than trick-or-treaters? No , I didn't see anybody. What the hell is going on here, guys?

Kendall: Nothing. Actually, we were just in the middle of something.

Ryan: Ok. Well, I promise I'll make this quick.

Zach: Come on in.

Ryan: Thank you.

Zach: I'm actually glad you're here. I want to run something past you.

Kendall: Zach.

Zach: We have a lot on our plate right now. Would be nice to take one thing off. So a simple yes or no answer would be great. Did you kill Hayward?

Ryan: Wow. You think if I knew I killed Hayward, I would let Greenlee go through with all of this?

Zach: A simple yes or no, Ryan.

Erica: Jack, you are a brilliant lawyer. Of course, you're prepared.

[Phone rings]

Erica: And besides, you've got a very cute butt. Oh. This is my contact from the S.E.C. I have to take this. Hello? Yes, Marty. Hi! Hi. Marty, do you have any news about Cortlandt Electronics?

Asher: Dude, you're like a zombie killing machine.

Colby: [Chuckles] Asher, can I talk to you for one second?

Asher: Yeah, sure.

Colby: Well, can I talk to you over there?

Asher: Right. Hey, keep after 'em, little man. What's up?

Colby: What's up? Did my brother ask you to kidnap him?

Asher: Relax.

Colby: No, Asher, it's wrong, not to mention, it's illegal.

Asher: What, for a father to see his son?

Colby: When a judge ordered him not to, yes. Remember, Asher, I have been through this. My mom took me away when I was younger. It did nothing but make things worse for all of us.

Asher: And your brother has it under control.

Colby: Did you know kidnapping is a federal offense? Does J.R.? I can't even believe he would even put you in this position.

Asher: Hey, hey, hey -- hey, thanks for caring, but just take a breath.

Colby: No. I know it's not your fault. It's all on J.R.

Caleb: Where's the boy, J.R.?

J.R.: Who?

Krystal: Oh, come on, you know who. A.J. Where is he, upstairs?

J.R.: Last I heard, he was at his place, at the Halloween party.

Krystal: Well, he's not there anymore.

J.R.: What?

Krystal: Oh.

J.R.: Have you called Marissa? Maybe she took him trick-or-treating.

Caleb: Or maybe you're lying through your teeth.

Krystal: You know where he is. Otherwise, you'd be losing your marbles right now.

Caleb: We'll let the police take care of this.

J.R.: That won't solve anything.

Krystal: Yeah, well, we'll just see about that.

[Doorbell rings]

J.R.: Here we go.

Brot: Someone called in a kidnapping.

J.R.: [Sighs] I have done nothing wrong. And the child that is in question is my son.

Caleb: A court order keeps him away from the son. The mother has temporary full custody.

J.R.: That's right, temporary.

Caleb: Kidnapping will make it permanent.

J.R.: Yeah, I've changed my mind. I want these two arrested for trespassing.

Krystal: I am looking for my grandson.

J.R.: And I told you he wasn't here.

Brot: Mind if I take a look around?

J.R.: Be my guest.

Kendall: Ok, you guys, can we please not do this?

Ryan: No, Kendall, it's fine. I would give anything to remember what happened that night, but until I do, yeah, it's a real possibility that I killed Hayward, but I don't remember.

Zach: You don't remember? Ok. So you didn't come here to fight. Why did you come here?

Ryan: Ask a favor.

Kendall: Of Zach?

Ryan: I need you to keep Kendall out of this from now on.

Kendall: Uh, I am standing right here, you know.

Zach: Now you want her to mind her own business?

Ryan: And I realize I'm the one who brought her in in the first place, and I'm sorry about that.

Kendall: Hello? Hi, I have a mind of my own.

Ryan: And I have everything under control, Kendall. I don't need you.

Kendall: Oh, gee, thank you.

Ryan: But your family does, ok? Especially Spike right now.

Zach: He has everything under control, Kendall.

Kendall: Is this the two of you banding together to keep me from helping Greenlee?

Ryan: Look, if everything goes the way that I'm hoping it does, Greenlee's not going to help for much longer, ok?

Kendall: Ok.

Zach: You want details, don't you?

Kendall: No, no. I mean, maybe a little. Ok, yes, a lot. I do, but I'm not going to ask. You know why? Because this is me right here -- this is me just backing off. Ahem. What?

Ryan: No, it's just I've actually never seen it, so I -- not used to seeing it.

Zach: Committing it to memory myself, as well. Ok.

Kendall: Just promise me that you'll help take care of Greenlee.

Ryan: I promise you I'm going to try. I'll keep you posted, ok?

Kendall: Thank you.

Ryan: In the meantime, you guys just hang out and -- and be a family. Move on with your lives. And I'm sorry again for my part in keeping that from happening.

Kendall: Ryan -- just -- just remember that you need to move on, too.

Greenlee: I did love David. Maybe not the way he needed me to, but we were happy for a while.

Madison: Why are you telling me this?

Greenlee: Because. You make it sound like I've been pining for Ryan, like I've been sticking needles in my Madison voodoo doll, and it's not true.

Madison: What happens when this is all over, Greenlee? Whether you wanted him to or not, Ryan is risking his whole life, his whole future, to make sure that you go free.

Greenlee: Because that's who he is.

Madison: Exactly. He's always swooping in at just the right time, doing just the right thing. I should know. That's how I met him. He picked me up, dusted me off, got me back on my feet. That's what he does. He can't help himself.

Greenlee: So --

Madison: So, there will always be another me. Or you. Or Annie, or Kendall. Yes, you two will have your moment. But what if one day, another woman gets herself into the wrong situation? Gets hit by a car, slips on the ice. What do you think Ryan's going to do?

Greenlee: Madison --

Madison: You said you know what this feels like. Do you really?

[Door opens]

Erica: Yes, thank you so much, Marty. Bye. [Sighs]

Jack: Well?

Erica: Caleb's inquiry into the fraudulent sale of Cortlandt Electronics convinced the commission to launch an investigation. So we may get Cortlandt Electronics back faster than we even thought.

Jack: Well, that's great news. Good for you.

Erica: It is great news. I have to call Caleb. Yes, hello. This is Erica Kane. Is Caleb there, please? Oh, he did? I see. All right, thank you. That is strange. Caleb went to the Chandlers. I mean, that's not good. Ok, ok. He doesn't have a cell phone, so I guess I'll have to wait to reach him tomorrow.

Jack: [Chuckles] Erica.

Erica: Yes?

Jack: How badly do you want to go to the Chandler Mansion right now?

Erica: Not badly enough to make me leave you.

Jack: I see. Well, that's very nice for you to say, but not wholly truthful, now, is it? Go.

Erica: Are you sure?

Jack: Yes. The sooner you go, the sooner you'll get back to me.

Erica: You are the most incredible man. You know that?

Jack: Mm-hmm. Never hurts to hear it again.

Erica: You are the most incredible man.

Krystal: Any sign of A.J.?

Brot: No. I'm going to put detectives on this case. I want to know where this kid is.

J.R.: Oh, we all do, Officer.

Krystal: Wait a minute. Wait, wait. That's it? You're leaving?

Caleb: There's nothing more he can do. Thank you for your help.

Brot: Why do I feel the two of you are going to be at each other's throat the second I leave?

Krystal: I'll keep an eye on them, Officer. Just get those detectives moving, ok?

Brot: Yes, ma'am.

Krystal: Thanks.

J.R.: Well, you heard the man. A.J.'s not here. You can apologize anytime you'd like.

Krystal: Oh, that's real funny, J.R. I was going to say the same thing to you. Acting all nice, coming into my restaurant. All you wanted was information. You wanted to know where A.J. was going to be tonight.

J.R.: Yeah, information that I would have had if he hadn't taken my son from me. Who denies a father access to their son before the trial even starts?

Caleb: A judge who recognizes an unfit father.

J.R.: Oh. Hmm. So I'm the bad father? Real classic.

Caleb: Is there something you want to say?

J.R.: No. Oh, but turning a judge -- the oldest trick in the book, Caleb.

Caleb: Why don't we have a look around? We might have better luck.

J.R.: What? You storm into my house, and now you want run of the place? No. I don't think so.

[Objects being moved]

J.R.: What the hell are you doing over there?

Caleb: Just admiring your --

J.R.: Hey!

Caleb: Oh! Hey, I hope that's not too tight.

J.R.: Are you insane?

Caleb: That ought to do it.

J.R.: And you -- you're just going to stand there?

Krystal: No. I'm going to go look for my grandson.

J.R.: Krystal? Krystal, it's a mistake. Come on. Un-cuff me. We can work this out.

Krystal: I'm sorry, J.R. I can't do that.

J.R.: No, wait a minute! You know that I'm a good father. Don't let him turn you against me.

Krystal: He didn't do that, J.R. You did that.

Asher: What's J.R. really doing wrong? I'm serious. I mean, all he wants is to spend time with his kid on their favorite holiday. You know? I mean, so he went a little extreme.

Colby: A little?

Asher: He's doing whatever it takes. My dad never did that for me.

Colby: But that wasn't your dad's fault. I mean, you --

Asher: I'm not dragging you into this, ok? If you weren't here, then --

Colby: Well, I'm just glad that I was here, because I can stop you from doing anything stupid or even more stupid.

Colby: [Sighs] What is going on with your pants?

Asher: Um -- yeah. I was kind of hoping you weren't going to notice that.

Colby: Well, they are absolutely hideous. It looks like you put them through a shredder.

Asher: Yeah, scissors. It -- it was A.J.'s idea. He said it didn't look "werewolfy" enough with just the mask, so voila.

[Colby laughs]

Asher: This is what I did. Yeah, you can stop laughing now.

Colby: No, no, I can't, I can't.

Asher: Anytime. Maybe now? Now would be good. What are you doing?

Colby: Well, I'm surveying the damage. I mean, maybe I can fix them.

Asher: Ok.

Zach: My lawyer's confident he can close the casino deal. Oh, thank you.

Kendall: Here. Wow, that -- that sounds so official. Are you sure you're ok with this?

Zach: Yeah. My idea. I already sold one here to Ryan.

Kendall: Yeah -- no, I know, I know, but, I mean, that doesn't mean it's easy. You've invested a lot of yourself into these casinos. There's a lot of memories.

Zach: Memories?

Kendall: Yeah. I can think of one specifically.

Zach: Go ahead.

Kendall: Me.

Zach: No idea what you're talking about.

Kendall: [Laughs] No, really. Hello? Um, New Year's Eve, you and me, the closed-down casino, a beautiful gazebo.

Zach: Who would close a casino on New Year's Eve?

Kendall: You.

Zach: Why would I do that?

Kendall: To tell me you loved me.

Zach: [Scoffing] It's a grand gesture. Doesn't sound like me at all.

Kendall: Really? Well, trust me, it happened. I have the husband and family to prove it. I do.

Zach: Yeah?

Kendall: Yeah. What do you want to do about it?

Zach: Make a bigger family?

Kendall: Ooh, yeah.

Zach: All right. See what you got.

Madison: I need to go.

Ryan: You don't have to.

Madison: Yeah, I do.

Ryan: No, honestly, the storm is really bad out there. There's lightning and thunder --

Madison: Ryan, enough, enough. I don't need you to save me, too, ok? Look, Greenlee has a really big day tomorrow getting on the stand to defend herself. I'm sure she can use all your help. And now you don't have to worry about tiptoeing around me to do it.

Ryan: Stop, stop. I can't let you leave like this.

Madison: If I want to walk out that door, you don't get a vote.

Ryan: You're right. I'm just -- I'm just asking you to stay. Please. Can we talk later? Please?

Greenlee: Ok.

Madison: What is this? Are you trying to torture me?

Ryan: No. No, I'm not.

Madison: What, I'm suddenly the poor victim, because you dumped me? It's Ryan to the rescue?

Ryan: No. No rescue.

Madison: I just wanted to break up and get my stuff and not run into Greenlee.

Zach: The boys ok?

Kendall: Yeah. Yup, they are fast asleep.

Zach: Everything's quiet.

Kendall: Yeah.

Zach: I'm sorry if I scared you earlier.

Kendall: No, I don't get scared when you're here.

Zach: What about when I'm not here?

Kendall: Oh, well, that's a different story. I mean, if I hear a tree branch hit the window or that stupid dog howling next door, I get a little -- it kind of freaks me out. I get a little jumpy when it's just me and the boys.

Zach: Hmm. What do you do?

Kendall: When?

Zach: When you get jumpy? Which, by the way, I'd like to see. What do you do?

Kendall: What do I do? Well, I -- I imagine that you're here with me, just like this, and your arms are wrapped around me, and --

Zach: To do this?

Kendall: Yeah, well -- oh, you do that a lot.

Zach: Uh-huh.

Kendall: Yeah. Oh, and you definitely do that. Oh, yeah.

Zach: Hey, I'm home. Not going anywhere.

Kendall: Can you please try that again? Yeah, that's what -- oh!

Greenlee: You are not going to believe this. [Sighs]

Kendall: What?

Greenlee: Ryan and Madison broke up.

Kendall: You're kidding me. Well, what does that mean?

Greenlee: I don't know. I don't know -- I can't even think about it right now.

Kendall: Oh, please, Greenlee. It's all you can think about.

Greenlee: Right. Right, that little murder trial? Forgotten. Me taking the stand tomorrow and possibly my last day of freedom? Meaningless.

Zach: You're going to convince the jury that you're innocent. There's no doubt in my mind.

Greenlee: You really believe that.

Zach: I do.

Kendall: I do, too. I believe in you. And if there's anything you need, anything at all -- within reason, of course -- we're here.

Greenlee: Thanks. Really. But right now, it's all on me.

Colby: That's a serious scar.

Asher: Looks worse than it is.

Colby: Have you had it for a long time?

Asher: Since I was a kid.

Colby: Look, Asher, I know you don't like talking about yourself, but -- and about your past, but come on. You can talk to me. I promise you, I won't tell anybody anything if you don't want me to.

Asher: I was climbing up a mountain.

Colby: Were you at camp or something?

Asher: I was looking for my dad.

Colby: But you told me that your dad --

Asher: No, I -- I know what I said, but it didn't exactly happen like that. I didn't know him or anything. That part's true. But it was because he left, not because he died.

Colby: Oh, my God. So he just took off?

Asher: He couldn't care less about the rest of the world. Definitely not me. So I went up there to look for him. It was raining and I said to myself, you know, "You can make it. You can make it up there to see him." Until I couldn't.

Colby: Well, have you ever met him before?

Asher: Yeah. I've met him. And so have you.

Colby: Uh, what -- I'm sorry? What are you talking about?

Asher: The guy walked off, spent 20 years up in the mountain, and then just strolls back down, changes his name.

Colby: Oh, my God. Caleb Cortlandt is your father?

Asher: If you can call him that.

Colby: Shut up. Huh. So this is why you came into town.

Asher: I got this letter from this Palmer dude telling me to come meet my father. No idea why he thought after 20 years of not giving a crap that he'd just magically care now.

Colby: Well, does Caleb even know about you?

Asher: This whole thing is just messed up, and I didn't even know where to begin, so -- I just figured lying was easier.

Colby: Well, thank you for telling me. Hey, does J.R. know about this? Oh. All right. So that's why you're his new favorite employee.

Asher: Look, I get that J.R.'s using me to get to him because of our connection, but I don't care. All that matters is, we want the same thing. For Daddy to get what he deserves.

Krystal: Nothing. You?

Caleb: Nope, but we'll find him.

[Phone rings]

Krystal: Chandler residence.

A.J.: Nana?

Krystal: A.J.? Sugar, where are you?

A.J.: Dad's office. When is he coming to see me?

Krystal: We found him.

Ryan: What can I do?

Madison: Nothing. It just hurts. It just really, really hurts. [Sobs]

Ryan: I'm sorry.

Madison: This is not a rescue.

Ryan: No, no, no, no. It's not. It's not a rescue. It's not a rescue. It's not a rescue.

Madison: Ok. Ok, I really need to go.

Caleb: Is he ok?

Krystal: Yeah. Yeah, I told him to sit tight and that you'd be there to pick him up.

Caleb: You don't want to go?

Krystal: No, I -- I know Marissa's concerned. I want to go explain everything in person.

J.R.: Wait a second. You're not going to just leave me here?

Krystal: Yeah, J.R., I think I am.

J.R.: Krystal? Krystal, get back here!

Caleb: I'll be back after a while, Junior. Undo the handcuffs so that you can wave good-bye to your son.

A.J.: Did I do something wrong?

Colby: No. No, you did nothing wrong. Nothing. But we should probably take him home right now.

Asher: Yeah, I'm going to wait here for Caleb.

Colby: Asher, you shouldn't face him alone. Just come with us.

Asher: It's something I got to do.

Colby: Ok. You ready to go home now, bud? Ooh. I bet your mom has missed you, huh?

A.J.: But I want to see Dad. Can't we see him first and then we can go see Mommy, please?

Colby: Yes, we can do a quick stop at Dad's. What do you say?

Both: Yay!

Colby: [Chuckles] You going to be ok?

Asher: I'll be fine. Hurry up and go before he gets here, ok?

Erica: The door was open. I -- whoa. What happened here?

J.R.: Finally, someone who's sane. A little help?

Erica: Well, now, that depends.

J.R.: On what?

Erica: On how you got cuffed in the first place.

J.R.: Well, who else would be unstable enough to do this to me except for your trusty business partner? Yet again, keeping me from A.J.

Erica: Caleb? Is he here? Caleb?

J.R.: No, no, he just left.

Erica: I see. All right. Then I will share the news with you. Do you remember what I told you, that you really should compromise? You should try to strike a deal with Caleb. Well, what a shame you didn't pay attention to that.

J.R.: Do I look like I'm prepared to cut deals? Can you get these off me now?

[Phone rings]

Erica: I'll get it. Chandler residence. This is Erica Kane. Oh, Judge Hale. Well, I'm just wonderful, thank you. And you? I'm sorry, J.R. is tied up right now, but I'd be very happy to take a message. I see. I understand. Of course. Yes, I'll be very happy to ask J.R. to call you just as soon as he can. Oh, and, Gregory, I know that it's none of my business or anything, but since Adam Chandler is such a dear, dear friend of mine, I just wanted to talk to you a bit about that custody battle. Just, I feel so bad to see this little boy, this little A.J. Chandler caught in the middle of all of that big mess. And I just want to have you think about this. I mean, every child needs his mother. Bye. Oh, my. I don't ever recall Gregory being so uncomfortable.

J.R.: This has nothing to do with you.

Erica: You know something? I really wish that were true. But this -- this personal feud between you and Caleb over Cortlandt Electronics -- I mean, it is just getting so personal. It's getting so ugly and so big that it is spilling right over into all of this -- this talk of Palmer Cortlandt's electronics company. And I -- just that, I will not have.

J.R.: Hey, hey, leave that.

Greenlee: Maybe your mother can give me prison survival tips, like how to wear my hair in the exercise yard.

[Doorbell rings]

Zach: You don't -- stop talking like that. Come on. Guess who.

Ryan: Greenlee?

Greenlee: What are you doing here?

Ryan: I need you to come with me, now.

Kendall: Where do you think Ryan took her? This could be bad. This is -- all right, I'm sure they have everything under control. Let's just relax. You know, I know I keep saying this, but I love this house. I do. I love that we're the only family that's ever lived here.

Zach: These walls have seen a lot.

Kendall: Oh, they have. Remember when we set up Spike's baby monitor down here? I think we stayed up all night watching him.

Zach: The same with Ian.

Kendall: Ah, yes. Then there were the knockdown-dragout fights.

Zach: Yeah, he threw a book or something right over there, remember?

Kendall: Yeah, yeah, I'm pretty sure he did. But I'm absolutely positive that you kissed me right there.

Zach: That was you, right there.

Kendall: Yeah, it was me.

Zach: And then here, right? Didn't we --

Kendall: Yeah.

Zach: Definitely down there.

Kendall: Yes. Yeah, yeah, yeah. For sure. And then a few times, we did -- yeah.

Zach: Did we ever behind the piano? Did you ever --

Kendall: Yeah, with the -- twice with the thing.

Zach: We did?

Kendall: Yeah, yeah, twice. Yeah. Lots of memories here. A lot of good ones.

Zach: Well, you want to make some more?

Kendall: Memories?

Zach: Mm-hmm.

Kendall: Yeah.

Zach: Check this out.

Kendall: What, you want a new one right now? Ooh, I like this. This is my best memory yet. This is a good memory. Ah!

Ryan: Come here. Come on. I want you to know that that chair is yours. Ok? So you own it. When you're in it, nobody can rattle you. Nothing Liza says can bother you when you're in that chair, because you know that you're going to beat this.

Greenlee: I do?

Ryan: Yes, you do. And I messed up bringing the hotel manager that we scammed into this, but there is definitely more to his story.

Greenlee: What do you think it is?

Ryan: I don't know, but it's just a gut feeling. You know, there's definitely something off about this guy. You know, he lands in our lap, and he lands in Liza's lap, he's changing his story all over the place, and this grudge of his -- it doesn't make any sense at all. That's a hell of a long time to hold onto something like this, so there's something going on there, and I'm just hoping whatever it is can actually help us.

Greenlee: "Us"?

Ryan: Well, help you with, you know, your case and me with my case if it comes to that.

Greenlee: Look at what it's come to already. You and Madison. I have to ask, did you -- did you break up because of me? Because of what you said right there?

[Phone rings]

Ryan: It's Tad. I got to take this.

Greenlee: Right.

Ryan: Hey, just hang on one second. It's going to help your case, so I'm going to take it.

Greenlee: Thank you.

Ryan: Hey. Tad, what do you got for me?

Madison's voice: "Ryan, it was a great little key while it lasted. Please -- please take care of yourself. Madison."

J.R.: All right. Give me the file.

Erica: No, I'm intrigued now. Oh, of course -- Caleb.

J.R.: Damn it, Erica!

Erica: Excuse me. I think I'll read this in peace and quiet. Asher is Caleb's son?

Asher: Hi, Caleb.
