Ryan: Greenlee? Are you ok? What happened to your voice?
Greenlee: Oh, I've got a bad cold, Ryan. You sound good. Are you feeling better?
Ryan: Going a little crazy in this place.
Greenlee: Well, just don't act out on any more of those crazy ideas. We don't want a repeat of what happened last night.
Ryan: It's just a minor setback.
Greenlee: Not so minor. It scared the hell out of me.
Ryan: I left the hospital because of you.
Greenlee: I told you last night, I'm fine.
Ryan: No, Greenlee. You're not fine, but you won't tell me why.
Greenlee: You need to worry about yourself right now.
Ryan: Greenlee --
Greenlee: I'm not going to talk about David to you, ok? This is my life, and I've got it under control, and you need to start focusing on your life now.
Ryan: The neurosurgeon was in here for, like, an hour. He said all my tests look just fine.
Greenlee: Yeah, you're lucky. If you don't watch yourself --
Ryan: Takes my head nearly exploding to find out that you even care, huh?
Greenlee: Of course, I care.
Ryan: I care, too, about you, which is why I want to know what David is doing to you.
Greenlee: Just stop stressing about this, ok? Just forget about it. David is my husband.
Ryan: He's a bastard, and I think you finally know that, Greenlee. Greenlee?
David: Liza, not now, please.
Liza: Oh, please, please? I have to talk to you. So Colby's off with Damon. God knows where they've ended up.
David: And this means something to me because --
Liza: Before he got on that medication, he was in that terrible car accident.
David: People with ADHD don't usually crash their cars.
Liza: I'm just saying that you told me that those placebo pills were not gonna hurt him.
David: Yeah, that's right. He'll simply go back to the way he was when you first met him. Isn't that what you wanted?
Liza: No. All I wanted was my daughter away from him. David, I've really messed this up. I've got to find them, and I've got to fix this.
David: Ok, but you're not gonna find them standing here talking to me, right?
Liza: No. Your compassion is really overwhelming.
David: Liza, I'm sorry, but I'm not your psychiatrist or your priest.
Liza: I thought you were my friend.
David: I am, all right? And, yes, we do help each other when we can. But nobody's gonna be able to help you clear a guilty conscience.
Liza: Hi, Tad, it's me. Any news from our kids?
Tad: No. Neither one of them is answering their cell.
Liza: I am really getting worried now. Do you have any idea where they possibly --
Tad: I don't know, Liza.
Liza: I know you're angry at me.
Tad: For trying to seduce my son? Why would I be?
Liza: I just want to find our kids and make sure that they're ok.
Tad: Liza, I promise you as soon as I know anything, I'll let you know.
[Car door closes and Damon walks in]
Greenlee: Ok, David, where is it?
David: Did you lose something?
Greenlee: David. Hi.
David: Sounds like you lost your voice. Can I help you find whatever else you're looking for?
Greenlee: Oh, my watch. You know, I thought I left it in the locker at the spa.
Greenlee: Yeah. But then I, like, called there, and they said it wasn't there. I really love that watch.
David: Hmm. Well. [Chuckles] Well, looky here. Right under your nose.
Greenlee: Oh. Thanks.
David: Yeah. You're usually so much more observant.
Greenlee: I just lost my watch, David.
David: Huh. This wouldn't have anything to do with you trying to find a way out of our little agreement, now, would it?
Greenlee: I'm not sure I'd call blackmail an agreement.
David: Hmm. Fair enough. But for the record, there are no loose ends.
Greenlee: You can relax, David. I already agreed to your terms, and I haven't changed my mind.
David: I hope that's true.
Greenlee: Even though I don't agree with you and your methods of getting what you want, if I didn't see some redeeming value in our marriage, I'd still be kicking and screaming. But then again, I realize that the only way I am kicking and screaming is because you saved my life.
David: And despite the hell your friends and family have put me through, I'd do it all again in a heartbeat.
Greenlee: But, you know, I can't help but worry about the evidence you have. What if someone finds this fake proof that I brought down Erica's plane?
David: You don't have to worry about that.
Greenlee: Well, that's easy for you to say. But it would be my head on the chopping block if it came to light, or if the mechanic decided to talk. What if he wants to blackmail both of us?
David: That's not gonna happen.
Greenlee: Well, you have confidence in him, but I don't even know his name.
David: It wouldn't serve you anyway. He's not using it anymore.
Greenlee: He changed his name?
David: Yep, that's right. And he's comfortably residing in, well, let's just say another part of the country.
Greenlee: Hmm. That's good to know.
David: Yeah, it is. What do you say we get ready for our board meeting, huh -- sweetheart?
Madison: I just checked with the desk. You requested an early release?
Ryan: Yeah. There's no reason to stick around. All my tests are us looking good.
Madison: But that doesn't mean you're completely healed. You had a brain aneurysm.
Ryan: Hey, the doctor last night said that -- uh, Doctor, um -- hey -- ok. All right, you don't have to give me a look like that. I was never really great with names, ok, but the doctor actually said that there'd be, like, some temporary memory loss.
Madison: What else did he say?
Ryan: He said that I just need to take it easy. That's it.
Madison: Well, I'm sure he meant in the hospital, not running around.
Ryan: I didn't hear that part.
Madison: Yeah, I think they call that selective listening. What are you doing?
Ryan: I think they call this standing up. So who wants to take this sick guy for a little walk around the hospital?
Frankie: Hey, baby.
Randi: Ciao, bella bambino. That is my little Italian version of "Good morning, handsome stud."
Frankie: Hmm. What a way to start the day.
Randi: This is your way to start your day -- fresh espresso from our new machine, extra strong.
Frankie: Wow. This is really intense.
Randi: Good, right?
Randi: I had one of those every single morning in Italy with biscotti. Ohh, it was perfect. But there was one thing missing: You.
Frankie: I missed you, too.
Randi: Hmm. Wait. I want to show you something. I printed all of these this morning: Every single romantic place in Italy that I want to take you to. What?
Frankie: Well, I've never seen you get this excited about anything before -- well, you know, almost. Ok, what do we got? What is this one?
Randi: Ok, this is me at the Palace Hotel in Venice.
Frankie: That much I know.
Randi: You know, I think that's where I missed you the most: In Venice. It's just such an incredibly romantic place. Oh. And this is me --
Randi: Yes -- at St. Peter's in Rome.
Frankie: Hmm. And this is me kissing you, my beautiful wife. Oh, my gosh. [Kissing] Ohh, I have missed you so much. I missed everything about you.
Randi: Me, too. But we don't have to worry about that anymore because we're together now. So what do you want to do today? Franklin, besides that.
Frankie: Ok. I thought we could maybe take a picnic by the lake.
Randi: Ooh. Fabuloso, mi amore.
Frankie: Are you making up all these Italian words?
Randi: Yeah. Definitely.
Frankie: Well, keep making them up, because it's pretty hot.
Amanda: Oh -- jeez.
Liza: Here, let me help you.
Amanda: I don't need your help.
Liza: I know. I want to.
Amanda: I told you --
Liza: I know, I know. You don't need my help. I also get that you are mad at me. Huh. Join the club. It's really attracting a lot of new members these days.
Amanda: What did you expect, Liza? I mean, Tad is part of the family, and you really screwed him over big time.
Liza: Yeah, I made a mistake.
Amanda: Is that what you call putting the moves on his son?
Liza: Amanda, I did not put the moves on Damon.
Amanda: Yeah, you're right. I know. You were proving a point, and you did that, huh?
Liza: What I was doing was trying to protect my daughter.
Amanda: What about Tad? I mean, he was so excited about giving Damon a family --
Liza: That he didn't see who Damon really is.
Amanda: And you were gonna show him by --
Liza: Ok, would you please just listen?
Amanda: No, you listen, ok? It's one thing to break someone's heart -- I have been on both sides of that -- but to break apart a father and his son in the deal, too? How do you sleep at night?
Tad: I'm glad you're back.
Damon: I didn't come back to stay. I just promised Kathy I'd be here for her swim meet.
Tad: Oh. Oh, good. Yeah, I appreciate that. Uh, I do. Do you mind if we talk about what happened?
Damon: I don't want to talk, all right? All I have to say is Colby and I are out of here.
Tad: I understand. I do. Um, I mean, I would probably do the same thing, you know, if I were your age.
Damon: Ok. Cool. You understand. Cool.
Tad: Yeah, I get it. You know, I'm naturally a little concerned you'll be ok, that you've thought it through. You know how you're gonna take care of yourself?
Damon: What, you think I'm gonna starve to death or something? We'll figure it out. I'll get a job. We'll make it work. I think that's my T-shirt you're holding. Thanks.
Tad: Don't go.
Damon: I have to.
Tad: No, you don't.
Damon: Why do you want me around here anyway? Aren't you afraid I'm gonna steal your girlfriend?
Damon: That's why you were so pissed in New York, wasn't it? Me and Liza, the whole --
Tad: Well, the fact is you said some pretty harsh things yourself in New York. I mean, comparing me to Paul, telling me I'm just as bad as your stepfather?
Damon: He never believed me either, so what's the difference?
Tad: There's a big difference, Damon. I do believe you.
Damon: No, you don't.
Tad: Yeah, I do. And don't get me wrong. I think the way you used the pictures -- you know, it was a little low. It was wrong to try to control Liza like that, but the fact is I know that she was lying.
Damon: Wait. What?
Tad: I think that things between you and Liza went down exactly the way you said they did.
Randi: Yes. No. Of course. Ok. Thank you.
Frankie: That doesn't look like a happy face.
Randi: Well, it's the good news/bad news kind of thing.
Frankie: Should I get some ice cream?
Randi: Maybe. I booked another photo shoot.
Frankie: You have to go back to Italy?
Randi: No, no, no. This one's right here in town, but I'd have to be there in an hour.
Frankie: Oh. Ok. So we just change picnic by the lake to a moonlight dinner. Problem solved.
Randi: Well, it's an editorial shoot and a cover try, so it'll probably end up going late.
Frankie: Ok. Yeah, I mean, you know, don't worry about it.
Randi: Oh, babe, I feel so bad. You had this whole entire day planned, and now I'm disappointing you.
Frankie: Come here. You disappointing me? Never.
Randi: I could call and cancel it still. I mean, being new in the business, it probably wouldn't look too good. Hmm. And it is a cover shot, and it would be really good P.R. for Fusion.
Frankie: Who are you trying to convince about this gig, me or you?
Randi: Both, I guess.
Frankie: Hmm. Well, you have my vote.
Randi: We could use the money.
Frankie: Hey, we're doing all right.
Randi: Yeah, but we'd be doing great if David didn't keep cutting your shifts.
Frankie: Hey, hey, hey, you let me worry about that.
Randi: How did I get so lucky? You are such an amazing partner. I love you.
Ryan: I just hate lying in bed. It's just too damn boring for me, that's all.
Madison: I could bring in some food or something. That chicken they served you yesterday looked like it died of old age.
Ryan: Yeah, right? I mean, this whole hospital has gone to hell since Hayward took over. [Laughs] Hayward, we were just talking about you.
David: Oh, lucky me.
Ryan: We were saying how this hospital could really use a new chef, preferably one that wasn't trained in prison.
David: I'll be sure to pass on your complaint to the board. We're always interested in our patients' comfort and well-being.
Madison: Ryan wants to check out early.
David: Well, that doesn't sound like a good idea.
Ryan: Any particular reason you want me to stick around, Hayward?
David: Well, apart from not wanting you to die?
Ryan: I'm very touched.
David: And we certainly don't need the lawsuits.
Ryan: What do you think, Greenlee?
Greenlee: I agree with David. And we better get going. There's some things I want to go over before our meeting.
David: Good idea. Don't know what I'd do without her.
Ryan: How does he do it?
Madison: Being a creep just comes naturally to him, I guess.
Ryan: There's definitely something going on.
Madison: With David, there's always something going on. But I'm more worried about you. You look tired.
Ryan: Yeah, you know, maybe a little bit tired.
Madison: Well, can I get you some water or something?
Ryan: I could use a scotch. Ha. Or a juice. I'm kidding. A juice, please. And you know what? A little sugar in the system would be great.
Madison: Ok. I'll be right back.
Ryan: Ok. Thank you. Hey, Alice? Can you do me a favor, just a little one? Will you page Dr. Hayward and kind of keep him busy for a few minutes?
Alice: Only if you promise not to break out of here again.
Ryan: Who, me?
Amanda: You have no idea what you've done, do you? Damon's gone, Colby's gone, Tad's a wreck, and all because you couldn't stand to lose control of your daughter's life.
Liza: Ok, Amanda, maybe when you're a mother a little bit longer, you'll have the right to make that call. What would you do if you knew that your son was making the biggest mistake of his life? Would you just stand back and let him walk into a disaster?
Amanda: Whatever it was, it wouldn't end up with me in a negligee on some teenager's camera.
Liza: You don't know what the hell you would do or what lengths you would go to to protect your son. Right now all you have to worry about is potty training and play dates. But just wait until the day when Trevor walks home with a girl that you know is gonna break his heart and ruin his future. You would go to any lengths possible to stop that from happening. So until then, you have no right to judge me or anything when it comes to my daughter.
Damon: So you believe me with the whole Liza thing?
Tad: Yeah, I do.
Damon: Well, that's -- at least someone does.
Tad: Not just "someone," Damon. I believe in you. Your father believes in you.
Damon: Well, it still leaves things pretty messed up. I mean, you keep going on and on about what a great family I've inherited here.
Tad: That's because it is. It's what I believe. The Martins are as big a blessing for you as they were for me.
Damon: But it's not so easy to live up to this whole Martin thing you got going.
Tad: Kiddo, you don't have to live up to anything. You know, the only "thing" we got going here is we love one another. That's it. End of story. End of line. You know, something goes wrong sometimes, people get mad at one another. You fight, you pick yourself up, and you move on because you care. Is that really so hard for you to handle, being loved?
Damon: I know how to be loved. I am. I am by Colby.
Tad: I'm proud of what you and Colby have together, but you can have it right here. In spite of Liza, you can have everything right here in Pine Valley.
Damon: You think Liza's just gonna make up and love me? She wants to chop me up into little pieces.
Tad: Who cares what Liza does? As far as I'm concerned, Liza it is no longer in the picture.
Damon: Wait. Why? Did you guys break up?
Tad: She tried to hurt you. She tried to humiliate you. I'm not gonna forgive her for that.
Damon: So it's because of me? So you guys are not together, and it's my fault?
Tad: No, Damon, it's not your fault. You're doing it again. Come on. Are you, honestly, so used to being blamed for everything that you think it's because of you when something goes wrong?
Damon: Well, it's not like I never screwed up before. How many times did you bail me out of jail?
Tad: About as many times as Joe bailed me out of jail. Why?
Damon: And you have to find out that I have pictures of your girlfriend trying to come on to me.
Colby: Huh. Tell me what I heard was wrong.
Damon: I really wish I could.
Colby: So my mother tried to go to bed with you?
Damon: She was trying to break us up. She wanted it to look like I was trying to --
Colby: Oh, my God.
Tad: Colby, I'm so sorry.
Colby: You knew about this?
Tad: I just found out about it in New York when everything got crazy.
Colby: Where is my mother? Where is she? Is she here?
Tad: No, sweetheart, she's not here. Your mother and I are no longer together.
Colby: I knew you were hiding something from me.
Damon: You're right. I was.
Colby: I thought maybe it was another girl, but my own mother?
Liza: Colby, whatever they have said, I want a chance to explain.
Liza: I just wanted you to open your eyes about Damon and see him for who he really is.
Colby: Are you for real? All you have shown me is who you really are.
Frankie: Oh. Hey, stranger.
Frankie: How's Ryan doing?
Madison: Stubborn, wants to leave.
Frankie: That sounds about right.
Madison: I'm just waiting for an orderly to bring me some juice for him.
Frankie: Yeah, well, that might be a long wait, seeing how we've been significantly understaffed ever since Hayward took over.
Madison: Yeah, I noticed.
Frankie: Yeah, how do you like this slogan: "Medicine on the cheap"?
Madison: Uh, my boyfriend just had brain surgery here, so not so much.
Frankie: What? You mean to tell me he didn't use a coupon? [Laughs]
Madison: Ohh, God, this feels good.
Frankie: Yeah, well, I think Randi's over-caffeinated cappuccino got me a little too punchy this morning.
Madison: Aw. You miss my coffee?
Madison: So have you heard back from Ryan's doctor?
Frankie: No. He hasn't called and checked in yet, but his last set of vitals were good. You know, Ryan will be fine if he just stays put for a few more days.
Madison: Yeah, I considered using handcuffs and some rope.
Frankie: Reow. How are you doing?
Madison: I'm good.
Frankie: Good. You know, you've been around here so much, somebody might actually put you to work.
Madison: Where else would I be?
Frankie: I know, and I'm sure Ryan appreciates it, but you're not the only one hanging around here.
David: That really is a nice watch. I'm happy I found it for you.
Greenlee: Meeting's running late.
David: That's fine with me. I get to spend more time with my beautiful wife. Is that a new dress?
Greenlee: Yeah. Nice, huh? New, expensive shoes, too. Thank you, by the way -- I used your credit card.
David: You're welcome. Well, not that I mind, of course, but what happened to our financial arrangement: Keeping our money separate?
Greenlee: Oh. That? Well, I changed my mind. I mean, what's mine is still mine, of course.
David: And what's mine is --
Greenlee: Is ours. As long as you expect me to play the part of the trophy wife, I expect you to pay for it.
Alice: David Hayward, please report to the fifth floor nurses' station.
David: I'll be right back.
Alice: David Hayward to the fifth floor nurses' station.
David: All right, let's have it. Well, this certainly could've waited.
Alice: Sorry. I thought it needed your immediate attention.
David: Ryan's a very lucky man having someone like you around to take care of him.
Madison: I like to think so. What do you want, David?
David: I just saw Ryan's formal request for release.
Madison: I'm hoping he'll change his mind.
David: And I'm hoping you'll persuade him to.
Madison: Because --
David: For his health, of course. So if you need any help -- for example, keeping unwanted visitors away from Ryan while he's trying to rest -- give me a call.
Ryan: You look like you could use a friend.
Liza: Colby, honey, you know that I love you.
Colby: How can you say that after what you have done to me?
Liza: Damon could've hurt you, so what I did was I fought back.
Colby: No, you didn't fight, Mom. You tried to sleep with the guy that I am in love with!
Liza: Honey, no. I would never go to that extreme.
Colby: How far did she go?
Liza: Honey, nothing happened. Nothing happened. Ok?
Colby: Why couldn't you have just trusted me?
Liza: I do trust you.
Colby: Why didn't you leave it alone? Why did you have to make it dirty and ugly?
Liza: No, Colby, you're not --
Colby: Mom, there are pictures! Of what, I don't even know about!
Liza: They're not what you think they are.
Colby: I really can't do this. I got to go.
Liza: Don't turn away from me. Colby, please don't turn away. I have already lost too much.
Colby: It's always about you, isn't it?
Liza: I know you're angry, and I get it, but someday you're gonna understand. All I've done here was try to be a good mother.
Colby: Well, you can stop trying. Because after today, I don't have a mother anymore.
Madison: So you really want to help me?
David: However I can.
Madison: Because we're so close, and I can really trust you?
David: You know, Madison, you may not think very highly of me, but we, oddly enough, find ourselves in very much the same situation here.
Madison: I'm not sure I understand.
David: Oh, I think you do. I'd just as soon keep Greenlee away from Ryan, and so would you.
Madison: Big difference -- I'm willing to let the people that we care about make their own decisions.
David: Hmm. And how's that working out for you? Why don't you give me a call if you change your mind?
Frankie: That looks like trouble.
Madison: He told me to call him if I ever needed his help.
Frankie: What do you think he really wants?
Madison: Oh, to take over the world. Heh heh! So I am going to [Rips up David's card] and flush it down the toilet.
Frankie: Good move.
Ryan: I don't get it.
Ryan: I don't get why you act all Stepford whenever Hayward is around.
Greenlee: And I don't get why you're not taking your condition more seriously. I'm assuming you're the one who got David paged away?
Ryan: Yes, I am. Because you were about to tell me something last night, something more than "marriages are difficult."
Greenlee: Well, they are. They all have their ups and downs.
Ryan: I know when you're keeping something from me, Greenlee.
Greenlee: David will be back here any minute, and Madison will be calling the FBI or the CIA if you're not in your room. So just concentrate on getting better.
Ryan: While you're concentrating on what?
Greenlee: Why does it matter to you? After everything that happened when I came home, why are you still trying to take care of me?
Ryan: I don't know, Greenlee. I guess something went kablooey in my brain.
Greenlee: Please, Ryan, just let it go.
Frankie: I need to talk to you.
Ryan: Can we do this another time, please?
Frankie: No. We should do it now.
Greenlee: I'm trying to talk some sense into your friend.
Ryan: Frankie, you know how dangerous Hayward is. I can't let Greenlee --
Frankie: All right, just stop. I had a conversation with your neurosurgeon.
Greenlee: What's wrong?
Frankie: Well, nothing yet, but it could turn into something pretty serious if he doesn't stop messing around. You need bed rest, man.
Ryan: And I'll get some, ok, just as soon as --
Frankie: "Soon as" might be too late. If you get another rupture, you could wind up with serious brain damage or worse.
Greenlee: Did you hear that?
Ryan: I heard it, and I will. I'll get some bed rest, just as soon as Greenlee --
Greenlee: As soon as I what, Ryan? I am sick of you playing hero. I don't need help. I don't want your help. And you can't just assume that every time that David and I have an argument, that it's the end of our marriage.
Frankie: Come on. I'll walk you back.
Greenlee: David loves me. When are you going to get that through your thick, damaged skull?
Ryan: As soon as you start being honest with me.
Greenlee: David loves me, and I love him. Ok? Just leave us alone.
David: It appears you've lost control of your patient, Dr. Hubbard.
Frankie: We were just headed back to his room now.
David: Good. My wife has made her feelings pretty clear. Do I have to get a restraining order to keep you from bothering her?
David: No, it's ok. It's just he can't seem to listen.
Ryan: No, I'm listening. I hear what she's saying. I just don't believe any of it, that's all.
Greenlee: You're delusional, then. People change, Ryan, they move on. You need to accept that.
Frankie: Seems like pretty good advice to me, Ryan.
Ryan: You can stay out of this, thank you, Frankie.
Greenlee: You should listen to him.
David: You know, it's all good advice, Ryan. Now, we don't want our patient's condition to deteriorate, do we? Especially -- I'm sure your surgeon has explained all the risks?
Greenlee: Ryan, please?
David: And then you have to ask yourself, "Is it really worth my life to get so worked up?" Especially when it has nothing to do with you, none of your damn business.
Ryan: You don't give a damn about my life.
David: You know something? You're absolutely right. But I do care about Greenlee's, and you're harming her. You're upsetting her.
Ryan: Oh, really? Is that what's happening, Greenlee? Am I upsetting you?
Greenlee: Yes. We're not gonna have this fight anymore, Ryan. You take care of your life, and I'll take care of mine. David is right. Our relationship is none of your business.
Madison: Everything ok?
Ryan: Yeah, everything's, um, everything's ok with me.
Frankie: We were just headed back, weren't we?
Madison: Good. I'll walk back with you.
Greenlee: Our meeting's about to start.
David: You're right, sweetheart. Try to take care, Ryan. You know, stay calm? It might make your life longer.
Liza: I am still your mother, and you're always gonna be my little girl.
Colby: No. What you always try to do is be right, to do the right thing, to win.
Liza: That's not true.
Colby: Yes. In court, at home -- it's all the same.
Colby: And when you knew you weren't right about Damon, you tried to set something up horrible to make him look bad.
Liza: So how can I get you to forgive me?
Colby: You can't. So stop saying that you did this out of love.
Liza: I did.
Colby: You believe that. And I almost feel sorry for you.
Liza: Because I made a mistake?
Colby: No. Because you have no idea what love really is. Come on. Let's get out of here.
Liza: Colby? Colby?
Liza: I know you hate what I've done, but I do love my daughter.
Tad: Let's not make things worse, ok? The only thing that matters, the only thing that counts is everything is out in the open.
Liza: No, it's not.
Tad: Yes, it is, Liza. There's nothing more to say about you and me.
Liza: No, not about you and me. This one is about Damon. So his ADHD medication --
Tad: What about his medication? Liza?
Liza: I switched it.
Tad: You what?
Liza: I switched it. He's been taking sugar pills for the last few weeks. I'm sorry.
Damon: Hey, hey, it's ok. The two of us are gonna be fine. You know that, right?
Colby: I just wish you would've told me.
Damon: I'm sorry. I thought that if you found out about your mom, it would hurt you a lot. And --
Colby: What? What? What?
Damon: I guess maybe I was afraid that you would believe your mom and not me.
Colby: I would've believed you. I wonder what it would be like to have a normal mother. Where would we be right now? What would we be doing? Who just left us alone?
Damon: Probably not running across the country. I guess we'd just be home -- your home, anyway.
Colby: Well, it was starting to become your home. And it's not really my home. My dad left, and my mother -- she is -- ugh! She is crazy!
Damon: You still have lots of people who love you there. You know, if you don't want to leave, we don't have to.
Colby: Why do you keep changing your mind about leaving?
Damon: I'm not. I just want to make sure it's still what you want.
Colby: You are all the family that I need. Let's go away forever -- and never look back.
Damon: Good plan.
Tad: You switched Damon's medication?
Tad: What the hell is wrong with you?
Liza: I didn't think it was gonna go on as long as it did.
Tad: That's an excuse? Do you have any idea what I had to go through to get him to take the medication, how I had to fight him? He didn't want to go through any of this. He didn't want to see a shrink. He didn't want to accept help! He didn't want somebody telling him he was broken! How's he ever supposed to trust anything ever again? Colby was right. The only thing you ever care about is making your point. And now because of you, because of your arrogance, you haven't just lost your child, Liza, I've lost mine.
Madison: Well, we don't have to talk about it if you don't want to -- the whole David and Greenlee thing.
Ryan: It's just basically everybody telling me that, um, I was overreacting.
Madison: And what do you think?
Ryan: I wish I knew. Just basically giving me a warning, telling me not to run interference for Greenlee, telling me to stay out of the way.
Madison: So will you or won't you stay out of the way?
Ryan: Right now I'm just -- I'm just really, really tired.
David: The meeting went perfectly. My wife and I couldn't more pleased. Mm-hmm. Great.
[Pounding on door]
Greenlee: What are you doing here?
Ryan: You need to tell me something, Greenlee. Don't even argue it, ok, because I know you, and I can see the look in your eye. It's the same look that you used to have when you were planning a surprise-a-day. Just trust me. Whatever it is, just let it out.
Greenlee: David's forcing me to stay married to him. If I don't, he'll have me arrested for taking down Erica's plane which I didn't do. I swear.
Ryan: You will not get arrested, Greenlee. I will not let that happen. I will not let that happen.
Greenlee: You can't --
Ryan: Do you believe in me? Let me hear you say you believe in me.
Greenlee: I believe in you.
Ryan: Ugh! Aah!
Greenlee: Ryan? Ryan? Ryan?
David: Greenlee? Thanks for putting Ryan in his place earlier. Things are gonna get easier. I promise. Before long, this little hump in the road will be like it never happened. I hate losing things.
Greenlee: Me, too.
