Damon: You want to adopt me?
Tad: Yeah. What do you think?
Damon: Well, isn't it kind of late? I'm 18.
Tad: Damon, it doesn't matter how old you are. What matters is that I want to be your father in every way I possibly can be.
Liza: So Tad wants to adopt Damon.
Paul: Wait a minute. You're not here as his lawyer?
Liza: No. I told you -- I'm a friend of Tad's. We're good friends.
Paul: Well, be on your guard, Ms. Colby, so that Damon doesn't do to your "friendship" what he did to my marriage.
Liza: Well, I'm -- I'm very aware of Damon's -- issues.
Paul: [Chuckles] Trust me, you haven't seen anything yet.
Madison: I am grateful that you fixed my flat, but you should probably go. I know you're worried about Erica and Greenlee, if they're both still standing.
Ryan: I bailed on you at Jake and Amanda's wedding, because of the Erica/Greenlee drama. I'm not gonna do it again.
Madison: No, really, it's ok. You should go make sure they're ok.
Ryan: Are you sure? Because you kind of had a good point about women not always needing a guy to be a -- hero.
Madison: Well, sometimes we all need a hero.
Caleb: Dog? What's up, Bob?
Bob: I heard you might want to rebuild your other place.
Caleb: Not interested.
Bob: You thinking about moving out with the rest of the world?
Caleb: Thinking about moving deeper into the woods.
Agent Bennett: Huston, check the files in storage. Smith, come with me.
Greenlee: You want to work with me? To save Fusion?
Erica: There's no way I'm gonna let my daughter's company implode. We keep Fusion alive, then you and your husband will pay for what you did to me.
David: Don't do it, Greenlee. You know you can't trust her.
Bianca: At least she didn't try to kill you.
Erica: What's it gonna be, Greenlee?
David: You don't need her. We can save this place on our own.
Erica: Are you kidding? You don't honestly believe that's true, do you?
Damon: Look, I'm cool with the way things are right now. You don't have to adopt me to prove something.
Tad: Damon, I'm not trying to prove anything. Come on, you're already part of this family. You gotta sense that. Kathy and Jenny already painted your sneakers. I mean, as far as I'm concerned, that makes it official. All I'm suggesting is that we do the paperwork and then later on, you know, celebrate.
Damon: Ok, but what happens after we celebrate? You know -- the reality part. ADHD boy still has no diploma. He's on probation. If you want to adopt something, why don't you get some nice, little baby with less baggage?
Tad: Actually, I'm a big fan of baggage. There is nothing you could throw at me that's gonna surprise me, put me off, or frighten me. I can deal with it, because I got a whole family behind me, just like you do. A family that cares about you, loves you. A family that'll understand you when you don't think anybody else will.
Damon: What about the next time I screw up? Because you know I'm going to.
Tad: Kind of goes with the dinner. All I ask is that you -- you don't try so hard. And I think you can handle that.
Damon: I just don't know. You know, the whole family thing. I was pretty bad at it the last time around.
Tad: It's not your fault.
Damon: Ha. I don't know about that.
Tad: It's not your fault. Your parents let you down. They broke promises. Well, I'm never gonna let you down. And that's a promise you can count on.
Colby: Thank God you are here.
Liza: I haven't heard that in a long time. What is the big emergency?
Colby: Big phone interview in the morning.
Liza: Oh, for the New York internship. Oh. Honey, you're gonna be fine. You're gonna be fine. Look, they already like your resume and your portfolio. The call's usually just to get to know who you are.
Colby: Yeah, ok. Ah, but what if they don't like what they get to know?
Liza: Oh, they're gonna -- they're gonna like what they get to know. I mean, you are smart and you're ambitious and you're extremely talented. That's all gonna come out in the interview. Besides, you know what you want.
Colby: Yeah, I know what I want. I mean, I -- I mean, at least I think I -- I know what I want.
Colby: Forget it.
Liza: Wait a minute. Hey, hey. Is something going on? You want to talk about it?
Colby: No, no, Mom, it's more of a girlfriend thing. It's not a mom thing, especially not your thing.
Liza: Why don't you try me?
Colby: Ok. It's -- I get to stop the conversation whenever I feel like it.
Colby: It's like I don't get what the rules are.
Liza: The rules for what?
Colby: Life. Dating. Love.
Liza: Ok, so we're talking about Damon?
Colby: No, I think maybe this was a bad idea. Heh. I don't need you to tell me I should dump a guy I'm crazy for.
Liza: That's not in my rule book. Ok, look, let me -- let me try and be cool mom here and help you out with this.
Liza: Yeah, really. Watch me. Cool mom. Open mind. Come on.
Colby: Ok. Have you ever told a guy you love him before he's said it to you first?
Liza: Once, yeah. Twice. Mm-hmm.
Colby: Did it ruin everything forever?
Liza: Well, um -- it's -- it's just that I think that women are, you know, they're more ready for commitment than men are. They're trying to figure out what they're gonna have for dessert, and we're designing our wedding cake.
Colby: Yeah, I want three tiers and I want real flowers. Um, kidding.
Liza: It's just that women are more mature than men. You know. Does this mean that you -- wanted to say something to Damon?
Colby: I already did. I told him I loved him, and he didn't say it back.
Madison: And Greenlee might want to wear a bulletproof vest.
Ryan: Ha ha ha.
Madison: And some garlic and a stake, just to be safe.
Ryan: Really? Because I think you are all the backup that I'm gonna need.
Madison: I don't know if that's a good idea. Greenlee did fire me.
Ryan: Yes, but you did have Erica's back. Maybe she needs you. And potentially that stake.
Madison: I did have garlic powder on my pizza today.
Madison: Why not?
Jack: Bianca. Any chance you could help me talk your mother into going back to the hospital?
Bianca: I know better than to get in her way when she's like this. But you have to promise me you'll take it easy.
Erica: I will. I will.
Jack: And that you'll go right back to the hospital when this is over.
Erica: Ok. Fine. But Jack, right now I need your help.
Jack: Sure. Name it.
Erica: I want you to get me everything you can on David and Greenlee. You told me that the police questioned them about my so-called embezzlement and about my disappearance.
Jack: Yes, yes. So you want to send me on a mission and leave you all alone?
Bianca: She's got me. And I'm pretty fired up.
Erica: There, you see? And Jack, you can't protect me forever. You can't stand guard over me. I'll be fine.
Jack: You see what she does. You see, I was so worried I would never see these beautiful eyes again. How could I possibly say no to them? See how she -- yes, I will go to the police station. I will get a copy of the transcript and whatever else they have.
Erica: Oh, thank you, thank you.
David: This is a disaster waiting to happen. Erica's gonna throw you under the bus the first chance she gets.
Greenlee: Because that's what we would do?
David: Erica's gonna use you to save Fusion, and then she's gonna destroy you in the process. I won't let that happen.
Greenlee: I know exactly what Erica's capable of. But if she's willing to help me after what we --
David: Ok, you see? When you start talking like that, I'm even more convinced it's a mistake to trust her.
Greenlee: Until we get the S.E.C. to back off, I don't have a choice.
David: I'll go talk to them --
Greenlee: No! No. You're going.
David: I'm not leaving you alone with Erica and Bianca.
Greenlee: You will only make this harder, because you're not on board.
David: And for good reason.
Greenlee: I need to do it alone, David. Full attention on Fusion, Erica, the S.E.C., fixing this. You'll only be in the way. I'll call you later. So let's do this. I'm in. Well, since you've taken it upon yourself to shut down my company -- our company, we have every right to see every single paper used in this investigation.
Agent Bennett: There's a clear trail showing money designated for the Miranda Center was diverted to another account.
Erica: That's impossible.
Greenlee: I'm sure there was an accounting error.
Agent Bennett: Unless that's proven, Fusion will remain closed for business.
Greenlee: Well, if you'll just give me the exact figure, I'll just write a check to the Miranda Center. Error corrected. Fusion open for business.
Agent Bennett: [Scoffs] Writing a check doesn't change the fact that a crime has been committed.
Erica: Well, you're looking straight at me. I guess you've decided already that I'm guilty. But I would never take money from the Miranda Center.
Bianca: The charity is named after my daughter. My mother's made huge donations.
Agent Bennett: Not so long ago, Ms. Kane was convicted of insider trading.
Erica: And I pled guilty to those charges, and I fired my advisors who got me into that mess. I mean, this seems like a witch hunt. Well, I'm certainly not gonna let you victimize me or -- or our company.
Greenlee: My partner is right. To take an accounting error and blow it out of proportion and turn it into a crime when no crime has been committed, it's just wrong.
Agent Bennett: So you're telling me on the record that you believe Erica Kane is innocent.
Greenlee: Yes. I am.
Liza: Oh. Colby, honey, I -- I just think that he might be in a different place than you are. I think that he's got a lot on his plate right now and -- well, I mean, as much as a guy might like you, they're still a guy. And they might get a little nervous when you talk about commitment, especially at this age.
Colby: So what are you saying? Are you saying Damon wants to see other girls?
Liza: No, what I'm saying is that -- honey, love is an amazing thing and so is commitment. But you see, it only works if two people are committed.
Colby: So you're saying Damon's playing me.
Liza: I'm -- I -- I'm just afraid that your heart will get broken.
Colby: Thanks, Mom. I am so glad we had this talk.
Liza: Colby, honey, I just -- I want to make sure that, you know -- that you're really happy.
Colby: Telling me that Damon's gonna shred my heart open -- that's supposed to make me feel happy?
Liza: No. That's not what I meant. I --
Colby: Can you drive me to Tad's now, because I have a date with the "heart shredder."
Damon: I have lied to your face. You've seen me blacked out drunk. You've seen me banged up at the hospital. You saved my ass from going to jail.
Tad: More than once.
Damon: More than once, so just explain to me why the hell you want to take on something you could just -- easily walk away from.
Tad: You're not a screw-up. You're simply trying to find your way. There's nothing wrong with that. And if I can help you get there somehow, it means I've done my job as a father. I don't expect it to be easy. You know what I did to thank my parents after they adopted me? I stole their car. So if you think you've got the market cornered on being a screw-up, think again. Check it out -- I turned out pretty good. Not half the jackass I used to be. No matter what Jake says. You're my son. I'm proud of you. Nothing's gonna change that. I don't care what mistakes you've made in the past, and I don't care what mistakes you're gonna make in the future. I'll always be proud of you.
Damon: So there is nothing that I could do that would make you walk away?
Tad: Not a thing.
Tad: Excuse me. Hey, girls. Right on time.
Bob: The rangers said the woman that crashed into your house was some kind of big-deal celebrity.
Caleb: Not a fan of the rags, Bob.
Bob: What was she like?
Caleb: Stubborn, demanding, and asked way too many questions.
Bob: Oh, trouble, huh?
Caleb: From the moment she fell out of the sky.
Bianca: You definitely need to look somewhere else, because my mother is innocent.
Agent Bennett: Well, the answer is here. All we have to do is find it.
Bianca: That went well.
Erica: Because of your short-sighted scheme, you have put this company in jeopardy.
Bianca: Hey, hey, what happened to working together?
Ryan: Working together? You two are working together now?
Bianca: They're trying.
Greenlee: What are you doing here? I fired you.
Erica: Could we please stick to the subject at hand?
Greenlee: I am. Fusion is out of business until Agent Bennett arrests somebody.
Erica: Well, that stupid check move that you made. Surely he saw that as a cover-up. You should've let me handle it.
Greenlee: He wants to arrest you.
Erica: Isn't that what you want?
Greenlee: I just want you gone.
Ryan: Ok, ok, everybody. This isn't gonna solve any problem, all right?
Madison: You just need someone to blame, right? What about me? I could take the fall.
Colby: Wait a second. So the three of you sat around here and watched a movie together.
Damon: We didn't even break anything.
Tad: Classic family bonding. I say we make it a weekly occurrence, you know? Just another perk of being a Martin.
Damon: Ha ha.
Tad: I told Damon that I wanted to adopt him, make it official.
Colby: That's great.
Liza: Yeah, that's great.
Tad: We still got some hurdles to overcome, you know, a little paperwork, and then there's Hillary. The one I really care about is Damon, and I'm still kind of waiting for a go-ahead.
Damon: Hey, if my mom agrees -- I'm a Martin.
[Tad chuckles as he hugs Damon]
Madison: I mean, Erica has done so much for me at the Miranda Center and giving me a job when I had zero qualifications --
Ryan: Well, that doesn't mean that you take the heat for something that you didn't do.
Madison: Yeah, but like Greenlee said, I've already been fired. All you have to do is tell the S.E.C. that I was in charge of the books, I made a clerical error, and you fired me.
Greenlee: This is great. It's perfect. It's so good, I might even rehire you.
Ryan: Oh, ok! Everybody -- there's no way in hell that this is gonna happen, ok?
Greenlee: If she offered --
Ryan: You could go to prison. You realize that, right? You know that?
Madison: Well, I'd get a lawyer.
Bianca: It's a very serious crime, Madison.
Madison: Yeah, but if it was a mistake, and there's an explanation and everybody vouched for me --
Ryan: Ok, well, you could still go to jail, "A"; "B," think about the consequences even if you don't. You would be on record for causing an accounting screw-up that opened an S.E.C. investigation. With that kind of tag, you would probably never get a job.
Madison: There's gotta be some kind of way to make it work.
Erica: Madison, thank you. It means a lot, the lengths you would go to help. Thank you very, very much, but I won't let you take the blame for this. Listen, why don't -- why don't you two go and let us deal with this?
Ryan: That sounds good to me. Come on. Let's go.
Greenlee: Ha. You just got rid of our best hope of getting out of this mess.
Erica: Greenlee, I think enough damage has been done. We don't need to hurt any more innocent people.
Greenlee: But you're not gonna get anything better than Madison taking the fall.
Erica: You must've noticed how protective Ryan is of her. That's why you're so anxious to throw that poor girl to the wolves. You will do anything to keep her away from him.
Greenlee: I'm only thinking about what's best for Fusion.
Bianca: So that means we have to find something else -- quick.
Erica: Well, Madison was right about one thing. We do certainly need someone to blame, and I know exactly who the creep is. You're married to him.
Tad: So now that Paul's agreed to the adoption, I figure I'll talk to Hillary tomorrow morning, if she calls me back.
Colby: That is amazing. What do you say we go celebrate with some --
Both: Chili cheese fries?
Liza: Uh, excuse me. Don't you have an interview to prep for tomorrow?
Colby: Yes, but like you said, all I have to do is know what I want and go for it. You ready?
Tad: Not yet. One more.
Tad: See you later.
Liza: Wow. Adoption?
Tad: Yeah. Adoption. Why not? I think this will make all the difference in the world. Once he finds out I'm behind him 100%, then he'll start to trust me.
Liza: Oh, Tad, I hope he knows how lucky he is to have you on his side.
Tad: Whoa. Well, you're obviously enthusiastic about the idea.
Liza: So I ran into Paul Miller at the casino.
Tad: I can only imagine what he had to say.
Liza: Well, he said that Damon has done some pretty destructive things --
Tad: Ok, fine. I know he's not a choir boy. He's working on it.
Liza: I'm just saying -- I think you better look into this a little further before you go ahead with this adoption.
Tad: And what? You think if I find out he's damaged goods, I'm gonna return him? Cut him loose? No. No matter what happens, I'm in this for the long haul.
Jack: The stones on you showing up here. Of course, I guess it makes it easier for me to have you arrested for drugging Bianca, since you're already in a police station.
David: I don't know what you're talking about.
Jack: Of course not. The day will come.
David: Until it does, how about a truce?
Jack: How about you kiss --
David: All right, look, I know you don't like me. I accept that. But Greenlee loves you. I love her. I want her to be happy. Which means having you in her life. Having your love, your approval.
Jack: My approval? On what, David? On marrying you? On framing Erica for embezzlement, on having something to do with her plane crash? On which of those would you like my approval?
David: Father's Day was very difficult for Greenlee this year.
Jack: Yeah, it was a little tough for me, too. Wondering if my daughter was complicit in the attempted murder of my fiancée.
David: There was no attempted murder, Jack.
Jack: Why am I even talking to you? Get the hell away from me.
David: You missed years of your daughter's life. You lost her once. She's back. How can you treat her like this?
Jack: I'd love to be a part of my daughter's life, but as long as she's with you, under your influence, drifting further and further away from me every day, I don't see how that's possible.
David: Greenlee will never truly be happy as long as she's at odds with you.
Jack: Let me try to make this perfectly clear for you. I don't see my daughter and I having any kind of relationship until you're in prison. Or dead.
Greenlee: You've just been waiting for this, haven't you?
Bianca: You've got to admit, it's a really good idea.
Greenlee: Serve up David to take the heat? Forget it.
Erica: He's responsible. He's the one who did it. He's responsible. He's the logical choice.
Greenlee: You would do anything to split us up.
Erica: I don't give a damn if you're together with David or not. In truth, I think you deserve each other. I am merely proposing the best and legitimate way to solve this problem.
Greenlee: Throw my husband in prison?
Erica: He's guilty. He did set me up, and he sabotaged my plane.
Greenlee: Those are vicious rumors and nothing more, so we need to come up with a better solution.
Bianca: You know she's right, Greenlee. You just don't want to see it.
Greenlee: You're not even a part of this company.
Bianca: The Miranda Center has my daughter's name on it.
Erica: Stop being so stubborn, Greenlee. He doesn't have a reputation to uphold. He's been stripped of his medical license. He's been involved in countless crimes. A few S.E.C. violations is nothing to a man like David.
Bianca: Everyone would believe he's guilty of manipulating the Miranda line accounts. The case would be closed. Fusion would be back on track.
Greenlee: Well, for you, maybe. But what about David? There's no proof that he's done anything wrong.
Bianca: I'm proof. He drugged me.
Greenlee: What are you talking about?
Bianca: I threatened to make a big scene at Greenlee's victory announcement, ruin her big party. He slipped something into my drink. I woke up in a room in the Yacht Club.
Erica: Oh, my God. Are you all right?
Bianca: Yes, I'm fine.
Erica: Well, that's it. I am having him arrested.
Bianca: There's no proof. The drugs are all out of my system.
Greenlee: He really did that to you?
Bianca: Are you surprised?
Erica: Look, it's a very simple choice here. Do you continue to blindly protect a man who would drug innocent people or worse, or do you save this company?
Jack: Thank you. You know, when you and Greenlee first got married, I was pretty angry, pretty upset. But then I thought, "Hey, wait a minute, Jack. Who knows, you know? Maybe she'll be a good influence on him. Maybe she'll change him, make him better somehow." But as it turns out, I hardly know who my daughter is anymore.
David: Greenlee is the same amazing woman she's always been.
Jack: Erica almost died because of Greenlee or you or the both of you.
David: She looks very much alive to me, Jack.
Jack: Oh, I see. So I'm just supposed to let it go? Just forgive and forget because Erica managed to somehow miraculously survive all that? It's not gonna happen.
David: I'm sorry to hear that -- for Greenlee's sake.
Jack: You know, you seem to be laboring under the misconception that because I'm not mopping the floor with you right now that somehow I'm not dangerous, but you see, you're wrong about that. I'm just waiting, just biding my time, waiting for you to let down your guard. And then you'll see how dangerous I really am.
Madison: How bad can prison be? Martha Stewart survived, right?
Ryan: I wouldn't test it.
Madison: I'm pretty tough now. I could be leader of a gang on the inside.
Ryan: Ok, maybe you need to watch a little less late night cable.
Madison: I can take the heat at Fusion. I'm willing to do it.
Ryan: You're either nuts or you're very, very brave.
Madison: This is the second time you've called me brave. If you say it again, I might actually start to believe you.
Ryan: You are brave. Ok, and a little nuts, but I like it.
David: You couldn't stop them?
Greenlee: We'll figure something out.
Agent Bennett: We'll be in touch.
Bianca: What now?
Greenlee: I need to get out of here.
Erica: Ok, fine. And while you're off enjoying your free time, please think very carefully about your priorities. [Sighs] Have I told you how happy I am to have you here? Even if it's for just a short time.
Bianca: There's no place I'd rather be.
Erica: I am sorry, however, that you had to leave your -- your wife and your kids to come back to such a mess.
Bianca: Oh. It's never neat and tidy around here.
Bianca: Would you please sit down before you pass out?
Bianca: Only you would almost die on some mountain and then -- ahh, come back immediately into battle.
Erica: Well, now, what was I supposed to do? Was I supposed to just lie down in my hospital bed?
Bianca: Um, yes. You still haven't told me about all that. You must've been really scared.
Erica: Well, I was afraid that sometimes I wasn't coming back. But actually, I was lucky. I was lucky because I wasn't alone.
Bianca: Krystal said that Caleb guy was a little scary.
Erica: Yeah, he was. Drove me crazy sometimes, too. Sometimes I wanted to wring his neck, but -- he saved my life. More than once.
Erica's voice: You were running from something. Life. Love. All the things that real living entails. You could have that all again, you know.
Caleb: Have what?
Erica: The things I've been talking about. Joy. Love. Hope.
Bob: Well, if you're sure you don't want to rebuild --
Caleb: I'm sure.
Bob: Yeah? What was that woman's name, anyway?
Liza: Well, I mean, Paul didn't go into any details about it, but what he was saying was pretty clear, that what Damon has done is a little bit more serious than just teenage hijinks.
Tad: Liza, who cares what Paul Miller says? He's a complete failure as a father. Now he's just piling on the poor kid to -- to make himself feel better.
Liza: Tad, honey, I just don't want you to get hurt.
Tad: You better understand something. It would mean a lot to me if you were on board with this adoption.
Liza: I am. I am.
Colby: It's gonna be weird, you know that?
Damon: What's gonna be weird?
Colby: Your -- well, Tad adopting you. And your dad dating my mom. It's weird. I mean, not that it's not already weird. It's weird. It's confusing. I don't know -- it's like one minute, I think I have it all figured out, and then the next, I don't know. It's like maybe I'm the one all over the place --
Damon: What are you talking about right now?
Colby: At the hospital -- I told you I loved you, and you didn't say it back. Oh --
Damon: I knew this was coming. You're freaked.
Colby: No, I'm not freaked. I'm -- ok, maybe I am a little bit. Love is a big word, and --
Colby: Whatever. It's really not a big deal.
Damon: No, it is a big deal. I didn't say it back. I couldn't say it back to you because -- everything that went down with Bailey. I said that to her, and it really wrecked me. I'm just trying not to mess up anymore, you know? So I'm probably a little -- gun-shy. But -- I really do think that we have something.
Colby: I think we have something, too. And I know guys are different. I know girls are all about the words and guys aren't, but that doesn't change how we feel about one another.
Colby: You know what the crazy thing is, is my mother helped me figure that out. [Laughs] What are you doing? You got a phone call coming in?
Damon: No. No, no. I'm all yours.
Liza: Ok, so if you have all of these, you gotta have that one where that guy says, "I lurve you" instead of "I love you."
Tad: Of course. Why are you so outside your genre? Why do you talk about all these movies with the "L" word in it?
Liza: Well, because Colby and I had a little talk today about the male species and commitment.
Tad: Ooh. I'd love to hear about that.
Liza: Yeah, well, she wanted to know about my past relationships, you know, and like, who said what first.
Tad: Ah. You mean like the "L" word.
Liza: Yeah. Exactly.
Tad: Yeah, well -- come on. It was so long ago. Who remembers who said what first?
Liza: I do. It was you.
Tad: It was not.
Liza: It was you.
Tad: It was not.
Liza: It was you. You said, "I lurf you."
Tad: I said "lurf."
Liza: You said "lurf."
Tad: I've never said "lurf" in my entire life.
Liza: I distinctly remember you saying, "I lurf you."
Tad: Did not.
Liza: Ok, you have to shut up because you said it, and I lurf you, too. And I want to kiss you.
Liza: Yeah, really.
Tad: Cool. Because I lurf that, too.
Ryan: You are just full of surprises.
Madison: Yeah. Yeah, I helped a plane crash survivor sneak out of the hospital. I almost volunteered myself to go to prison for the rest of my life for stealing money from a charity that I didn't steal any money from. Not quite sure how I'm gonna top those surprises.
Ryan: Maybe I need to be the one doing a little surprising. [Kisses Madison]
Bianca: The one on the top? Miranda's got a loose tooth.
Erica: Ohh. Oh!
Bianca: Tell her not to wiggle it too much. Mommy wants to be there for the tooth fairy. Kiss them both for me. Kiss yourself. Ok. Well, Mom sends her love, too. Talk to you later. Bye. Can you believe that? Pretty soon, she's gonna be driving.
Erica: Oh. Doesn't it just seem like yesterday she took her first steps?
Jack: So here you are.
Erica: Well, where else would I be?
Jack: Gee, I was kind of hoping maybe the hospital.
Erica: Oh, hardly.
Bianca: I was kind of hoping you two would take a break to celebrate your engagement.
Jack: Oh, we will, we will. Don't you worry about that. Over apple juice and Jell-O at the hospital.
Erica: Oh. Would you take me home? Ok? Because nothing would make me feel better than to spend the night in your arms.
Jack: I will hold you all night long, in your bed at the hospital!
Erica: Well, then, you lied.
Jack: I lied?
Erica: You said that when I look at you with these eyes -- you can't resist.
Jack: Irresistible as always. [Kisses Erica on the cheek]
Jack: But when it comes to your health, I'm not gonna let you charm me like that.
Erica: Ok. Fine. I do hope that your daughter hasn't sabotaged the brakes on whatever car that we're taking.
David: Ok. We have to figure out what to do next, how to save Fusion.
Greenlee: Hmm. Does it involve slipping someone a sleeping pill? Or something stronger this time?
David: Bianca told you.
Greenlee: And you didn't.
David: When was I supposed to own up to that, Greenlee? With the S.E.C. agent standing across the room?
Greenlee: How about before you put anything in Bianca's drink?
David: There wasn't exactly time. Your buyers were about to show up to the launch party. Bianca was threatening to tell them you crashed Erica's plane. I did it purely for you.
Greenlee: What happened to nobody else getting hurt?
David: Bianca didn't suffer for a second. I would never give her anything that would harm her. You do believe that, don't you? I was motivated in helping you.
Greenlee: But the way you help me --
David: Ok. Ok. Fine. I get the message. So why don't we come up with some safe, harmless, drug-free way to keep Fusion alive? Unless Erica has a plan of her own.
Greenlee: She's working on it.
Erica's voice: It's a very simple choice here. Do you continue to blindly protect a man who would drug innocent people or worse, or do you save this company?
David: This plan of Erica's -- is it -- is it viable?
Greenlee: I don't know. Maybe.
