Ryan: Erica, wait up.
Erica: Oh. You're back.
Ryan: Yes, I am, I'm back, and I have some news.
Erica: Kendall -- is she all right?
Ryan: Yeah. Yeah, yeah. She's all right. I just wanted to tell you that she's coming home.
Zach: So that's it? You're leaving?
Kendall: I was hoping you would come with me. You're making me choose, Zach -- Pine Valley or you. I have to do this. I have to go home and make things right with Greenlee. Why can't you understand that?
Erica: Kendall's itinerary. She's flying home today. Why would she be doing that?
Ryan: Well, Greenlee kind of blew out of there once we tried to explain things to her, and Kendall would like to go after her and make some peace.
Erica: Oh, Ryan. I wish you could've talked Kendall out of doing this. I mean, not that I don't love to have my daughter home, but under the circumstances with Greenlee on the warpath the way she is --
Ryan: That's the thing. Greenlee should've gotten back before I did, and I can't track her down anywhere.
Erica: Well, maybe we got lucky. Maybe Greenlee just blew right by Pine Valley and kept on going.
Liza: I'm gonna try and crush this witness on cross.
David: And if you can't?
Liza: I'm gonna be forced to do the one thing that I've been trying to avoid. That's put you on the stand.
Adam: I can't go on any longer without telling you how I feel, Brooke. How I feel about you.
Brooke: No, Adam. I don't want to hear this. I -- I don't --
[Adam kisses Brooke]
[Annie kisses J.R.]
J.R.: What the hell was that?
Annie: I told you. I needed to know how you really feel about me. What we did might've been wrong, but it was no accident, was it?
Adam: Stay. We'll talk.
Brooke: We can't. We can't do this.
Adam: Brooke -- Brooke, wait.
Adam: We weren't finished with our conversation.
Brooke: I'm sorry. Did I interrupt something?
Annie: What? No. No, I was -- I was -- I was asking J.R. about the -- the shareholder lawsuit and if he knew any more information.
J.R.: I was just about ready to call Barry in a few minutes.
Annie: If you do, I want to be in on that call, so -- I'm really concerned about outsiders attacking my family. Adam, are you all right? You look a little flushed.
Adam: No. I'm fine.
Annie: I'm worried about you. We all are, especially after you collapsed in court.
Adam: It was nothing.
Annie: Adam, it wasn't nothing. You could've died. Can you -- can you get him some water, please?
Adam: I said, I'm fine.
Annie: Really? You're fine?
Adam: Yes. Fine.
Annie: So then why do you look so shaken?
Ryan: Kendall might be the only person on the planet that can actually get through to Greenlee.
Erica: She's tried, Ryan.
Ryan: She could try again.
Erica: Why? So Greenlee can just keep on attacking her?
Ryan: You know, the truth about Greenlee's accident just came out after a year, right? I mean, if Greenlee had known from the beginning, maybe she wouldn't have reacted this way and maybe things would be a little bit easier.
Erica: Wow. You will never stop making excuses for her, will you? You're a good man, Ryan Lavery. But maybe too good.
Kendall: Zach, I don't want to go without you.
Zach: But you will.
Kendall: My best friend is in pain, a lot of pain, because of me. I can't just blow Greenlee off.
Zach: You're making a mistake.
Kendall: The only mistake that I made was not being there for her when she needed me. I wasn't there. I need to fix that.
Zach: You have to fix this.
Kendall: Zach, it's possible to do both. I can do both. Why do you have to give me an ultimatum?
Zach: That's not what I did.
Kendall: You said Pine Valley or you. Isn't that what that --
Zach: You know what I meant.
Kendall: Yes, I know exactly what you meant. That Pine Valley is poison, and if we don't move away from there, we'll never make it. Well, I'm not sure I'm ready to do that. Not now. Maybe not ever.
Liza: The D.A. was just getting warmed up. Now he's going for the jugular.
David: I knew beating these charges would be tough. That's why I suggested alternatives.
Liza: Bribing a judge? I don't think so.
David: The jury saw me saving Adam's life. Find a way to use that.
Liza: The judge ordered them not to use that.
Bailiff: All rise. Court is again in session.
Judge Meyers: Counsel.
D.A. Peterson: Thank you, your honor. Please remind the court of your name and occupation.
Wilson Kuckley: Wilson Kuckley. I'm an Assistant Coroner for the Fairfield County, Connecticut, Medical Examiner's office.
D.A. Peterson: And you held this position in the winter of last year when a woman named Greenlee Smythe was involved in a serious motorcycle accident?
Wilson Kuckley: That's correct.
D.A. Peterson: And was Ms. Smythe's body brought into your facility?
Wilson Kuckley: No, it was not.
D.A. Peterson: And why is that?
Wilson Kuckley: She wasn't dead.
D.A. Peterson: People's A, B, and C, your honor. Do you recognize these documents, Mr. Kuckley?
Wilson Kuckley: The autopsy report, the DNA report, and the death certificate for Greenlee Smythe.
D.A. Peterson: And that's your signature on all three?
Wilson Kuckley: Yes.
D.A. Peterson: But Greenlee Smythe isn't dead. So these are fake.
Wilson Kuckley: That's correct.
D.A. Peterson: And why would you falsify these documents? Your honor?
Judge Meyers: Answer the question, Mr. Kuckley.
Wilson Kuckley: I was paid to do it. Ten grand in cash.
D.A. Peterson: In other words, you accepted a bribe to make it look as if Greenlee Smythe was fatally injured, went off the road, and drowned in the river below. Is that right?
Wilson Kuckley: We fished another woman out of that river after Ms. Smythe's accident. I fixed the DNA test results.
D.A. Peterson: Didn't someone need to identify the body? Wouldn't they have seen it wasn't Ms. Smythe?
Wilson Kuckley: The river had taken its toll on the body. Pretty unrecognizable. But they ended up making the I.D. off Ms. Smythe's engagement ring anyway. They didn't even look at the Jane Doe's face.
D.A. Peterson: And this elaborate plan to conceal Ms. Smyth's survival -- who was behind it? Mr. Kuckley, do you see the person who bribed you in the courtroom today?
Wilson Kuckley: Yes.
D.A. Peterson: Louder, please.
Wilson Kuckley: Yes.
D.A. Peterson: And can you point that person out for the jury? Just so we're clear -- the defendant, Dr. David Hayward, paid you $10,000 to fake Greenlee Smythe's death.
Wilson Kuckley: I needed the money. I have a sick wife.
David: You need to destroy this guy, or we're done.
D.A. Peterson: -- Motives? Why he was doing all of this?
Wilson Kuckley: All he said was Ms. Smythe was in a coma and no one could know.
D.A. Peterson: No more questions.
Judge Meyers: Ms. Colby.
Liza: So you admit to taking a bribe.
Wilson Kuckley: I had no choice.
Liza: No? Couldn't call the police? No. You would rather take the money.
D.A. Peterson: Objection. She's putting words in his mouth.
Judge Meyers: Let the witness answer the questions, please, Ms. Colby.
Liza: My apologies, your honor. Mr. Kuckley, you're promised full immunity today for your testimony?
Wilson Kuckley: Yes.
Liza: So no matter what you say, true or false, you're gonna be a free man.
Wilson Kuckley: Yes, but --
Liza: But you would rather break the law for money. Put an engagement ring on a corpse for cash. Let's say somebody offered you a really large sum of money to say certain things under oath.
D.A. Peterson: Your honor!
Liza: No more questions.
Judge Meyers: You can step down, Mr. Kuckley. You're up, Ms. Colby.
Liza: Yeah. Um -- your honor, we would like to request a brief postponement. We're having a witness issue.
D.A. Peterson: You must be kidding. You're the one who insisted on pushing ahead after Mr. Chandler's heart problems.
Judge Meyers: The D.A.'s correct. There will be no postponement, Ms. Colby. Present your case.
Liza: Yes. Are you ready?
Judge Meyers: What's going on here?
Greenlee: Let's do this.
Adam: Ahh. Yes. Yes. And there -- there would be something that's even better.
Annie: Ok. Whatever you need.
Adam: As I said this morning, I'm removing myself from Chandler. But I'd like to stay in the loop. Can I rely on you to tell me everything?
Annie: What do you mean?
Adam: The stockholders' lawsuit. Perhaps you and J.R. could use the speakerphones in the study, get the particulars from Barry, and then report back to me.
Annie: Well, I feel bad leaving you if you don't feel well.
Adam: Oh, no. I feel fine. I feel fine.
Annie: Shall we?
Brooke: I have to get to the office.
Adam: Oh. Could that wait a few minutes?
Brooke: Uh, no, it can't.
Adam: Ah. It's getting warm in here, isn't it?
J.R.: No. Dad, are you ok?
Adam: I'm fine. I'm fine.
Annie: Do you need a doctor or something?
Adam: No, no. No. I just need to lie down a few minutes. Keep me posted on the lawsuit, ok? Ok.
Liza: Your honor, please, if we could just have one moment.
Judge Meyers: Quickly, Ms. Colby.
David: You shouldn't be here.
Greenlee: You've been saying all along you want me to stay away from your trial. Now I know why.
Liza: Where have you been?
Greenlee: It doesn't matter. I'm here now. Put me on the stand.
David: Absolutely not.
Judge Meyers: Time's up, Ms. Colby.
David: You do this, and you're fired.
Liza: We're in the middle of a trial.
David: I don't give a damn. I'm not gonna let you say a word.
Greenlee: Fine. I'll go over your head.
David: Greenlee, no!
Greenlee: Your honor, my name is Greenlee Hayward. I want to testify.
D.A. Peterson: This is outrageous.
Erica: She can't do that, can she?
Greenlee: I have evidence -- crucial evidence -- that won't be heard unless you let me speak. These charges revolve around me. In the interests of justice, please.
Judge Meyers: This is highly unusual, but I will allow it.
Liza: Your honor, just let me have five minutes, please.
Judge Meyers: No.
Bailiff: Do you swear to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, so help you God?
Greenlee: I do.
Judge Meyers: Go ahead, Ms. Hayward.
Greenlee: Thank you. My husband is accused of faking my death while I was in a coma. But that accusation is a mistake. It's a lie. The wrong person is on trial here. If you want justice -- real justice -- Kendall Slater should be charged with attempted murder.
Erica and Ryan: What?
Judge Meyers: Order in the court.
Kendall: Think about what you're asking me. You're asking me to move away from everything that I know. Everyone.
Zach: I wouldn't ask if I didn't think it was necessary.
Kendall: Necessary? I think selfish is more like it. "Always, only you." Well, I didn't realize that meant you're the only person that I'm allowed to love.
Zach: That's not fair. Don't twist my words.
Kendall: Well, I mean, come on, Zach. Is this -- is this about Ryan? I mean, because I feel like this is my punishment.
Zach: Well, it's not.
Kendall: Well, it feels like that's what you're doing to me, like you want to isolate me and make sure that I never forget what I did.
Zach: We're not talking about the past here. We're talking about the future. Our future.
Kendall: Yeah, but you act as if we've made no progress at all, as if nothing has changed. Zach, you're still afraid that I'm gonna turn into the person that I was before. A person who acts on impulse and makes mistakes that you end up paying for. I mean, come on, haven't I spent enough months proving to you that that's not gonna happen? Showing how devoted I am to you and our family? Isn't that enough?
Zach: I wish it was. Where we are right now -- this is not random. We're on a boat. We got married on a boat. We're at our strongest on a boat.
Kendall: Zach, we can't just cut ourselves off from the rest of the world. We can't. We need other people in our lives.
Zach: We don't need other people. That's what kills us.
Kendall: Oh, see, I knew it. I knew this was about Ryan.
Zach: It's not about Ryan. It's about your friends, your family, and the drama that comes with it. We don't need it.
Kendall: Ok, listen, I got sucked in. I tried to solve everyone else's problems. I won't do that again. I won't.
Zach: You're doing it right now.
Kendall: Oh, my God. Zach, for God's sakes, we are in the middle of the ocean right now. I dropped communication from everyone and everything.
Zach: Yeah, but you want to swim back. That's what you wanna do, right?
Kendall: This is different. Greenlee is alive, and she needs me.
Zach: Greenlee will always need you -- to carry her baby, to carry her purse, whatever. She will always be there to need you.
Kendall: Ok, well, I'm sorry. Excuse me for caring. I'm sorry that I'm not an island like you.
Zach: I'm not -- come on. Shouldn't have to be an island. I don't want you to be like me. I want you to be like you, because I -- [Sigh] I just -- I want you to have some boundaries. I don't want you to get lost.
Kendall: Ok. All right. But, Zach, we can't just sail around the world for the rest of our lives. I want our marriage to work, but I can't just drop everything and everyone.
Zach: I'll tell you a secret.
Zach: I'm scared. I'm scared that if you go, you're gonna slip away. I'm gonna lose you.
Kendall: What can I do? What I can I say that'll make you trust me, that'll make you trust that that's not gonna happen, Zach?
Zach: It's not about that. There's nothing you can say. I gotta do it. I gotta figure it out and I will. But I'm not there yet. I'm not. I know you gotta go. I get it. All right, now, tell me right now. Tell me we're gonna survive this. Going back to Pine Valley. We're gonna be just fine. Look me in the eye and tell me we're gonna be fine.
J.R.: What were you thinking? Kissing me out there.
Annie: Ok. You're right. It was a mistake, but I couldn't help myself. I told you, I -- I can't stop thinking about you.
J.R.: You can't?
Annie: It is bizarre. It is risky. For so many reasons. But I cannot pretend that I don't feel it. And I know you feel it, too. So tell me, J.R. Is there really a chance that this could happen?
[All talking at once]
Erica: She's lying!
Judge Meyers: Order! Order in the court.
D.A. Peterson: Your honor, I don't know what kind of stunt Ms. Colby is pulling here.
Liza: Your honor, this witness is here on her own volition.
D.A. Peterson: The prosecution would like to move --
Judge Meyers: Enough, Mr. Peterson. I don't appreciate my court being turned into a circus. There better be a good explanation for this.
Greenlee: There is. It was really difficult for me to come here today, but I needed to tell my story. When I came back to town, I told everyone that I was in a coma for months following my accident. But that's not true. I was conscious the entire time. Awake, aware, and suffering because of the woman I believed was my best friend. Kendall Slater ran me off the road on purpose because she didn't want me to marry the man she wanted for herself.
Ryan: That is a complete lie.
Judge Meyers: Sit down.
Ryan: Why are you doing this? Why are you saying things that you know are not true?
Greenlee: It is the truth.
Judge Meyers: Bailiff, remove that man.
Ryan: I know that you're hurt. This is not the way. It's not the way. Listen, I'm not gonna let you do this to Kendall. I won't do it. I won't.
Jesse: You want to get thrown in jail? Ryan.
Judge Meyers: One more word, and I'll have you cited.
Jesse: Come on. Come on. Come on.
Judge Meyers: And if there's another outburst, I'm gonna clear this courtroom. I'm done wasting time. You said that you had evidence that was relevant to this trial.
Greenlee: More like a confession. After my accident, I was devastated, physically and emotionally. David Hayward saved me. He stood by me while everyone else moved on as if I didn't even exist. Why did he keep my survival a secret? Because I asked him to. Everything my husband did, every crime he's been accused of is my fault. I told him to make it look like I was dead. The bribe, the DNA, the engagement ring -- all my idea. So charge me, if you want to charge somebody. Throw me in prison. I'll do the time. But that wouldn't be justice. If you want someone to pay, find Kendall Slater, bring her here, and make her answer for what she's done.
Erica: Your honor, how can you let her get away with this?
Liza: Your honor, in light of these new developments, we have nothing further. The defense rests.
Erica: Jesse, she's turning this trial into a joke. Changing her story now.
Jesse: Well, unfortunately, Greenlee was pretty convincing up there.
Erica: Oh, you want to see convincing? You put me on that witness stand.
Jesse: And what are you gonna testify, Erica?
Erica: That Greenlee is a spiteful, contemptible liar.
Jesse: Did you witness her in her coma?
Erica: No, but that --
Jesse: Was Kendall behind the wheel of that car?
Erica: Yes, but she --
Jesse: Then you're not going to be able to help things much here. You've got this huge battle going on over Fusion. It's your daughter she wants to accuse. Erica, Liza will rip you apart.
Erica: Well, let her try.
Jesse: Listen, this is not our call. I know this D.A. He's not gonna go for it.
Erica: Why are you so quiet all of a sudden? Have you come up with some new way to defend that little bitch? I sure don't want to hear it, Ryan.
Ryan: I can't be here.
Erica: Ryan. Ryan --
Jesse: Erica, let him go. Let him go. Let him go.
Adam: I knew I'd find you here. This is where you were the night that I tried to tell you how I really feel, and you ran away before I could finish. I'm not trying to scare you. I'm just -- I'm confused. Annie is a wonderful woman. But I keep asking myself what -- what if? What if I hadn't let you leave the park that night? If I'd held on to you. And -- well -- what could've happened? You wouldn't have been in that car accident. And maybe, maybe -- everything might be different.
J.R.: You keep talking about this connection that we have. Exactly how connected do you feel?
Annie: You don't know?
J.R.: Just tell me. Just tell me what you're thinking.
Annie: I don't know. I mean, it wouldn't be easy or simple. It would actually be as complicated as it gets. But -- if it's right --
J.R.: If what's right? Be specific.
Annie: The two of us. I mean, at first I thought, what? Absolutely not. No way. But now -- after I see Adam and Brooke together, I'm not so sure. I mean, what if -- what if he's done with me, and he wants to go back to her? I mean, if Adam has really moved on to Brooke, then we wouldn't even have to feel --
J.R.: What -- guilty? I can't even believe we're talking about this. You're my stepmom.
Annie: I know. I don't -- I know. I don't know what is going on, ok? All I know is my husband is spending all his time with another woman, and not just any woman. His ex-wife.
J.R.: So you think we could just forget that we're married and just be together?
Annie: No. That's not what I'm saying. That's not what I'm saying. I'm just -- I'm just trying to figure out how you feel.
J.R.: Well, I feel connected to my wife. I feel connected to my father. What do you think, I just -- you must be out of your mind if I was -- blow my family apart for a whack job like you.
[Annie slaps J.R. while he's secretly recording her]
Annie: We did not just jump in bed together. We made love. Deny it all you want, but you know that's the truth.
Marissa: What happened?
Liza: Protective. Loyal. Heroic. That is Dr. David Hayward. His job, his calling in life is helping people. He saves lives. And you heard about one rescue in a heartfelt plea from his wife. And that's just one person among countless others that owes her life to my client. Now, she came here today to tell you who he really is. The risks that he took, the extraordinary sacrifices that he was willing to make to protect her from a betrayal so heinous she felt her pretend death was the only way out. Did he tamper with a body, did he fake DNA, did he bribe a coroner? He most certainly did. But does he deserve to go to prison for rescuing a woman who was stabbed in the back by the people she thought loved her the most? I ask you, aren't they the real criminals? So ask yourselves: What is Dr. Hayward guilty of? Being a devoted friend? If that's the case, he's not guilty. He's not guilty at all.
Judge Meyers: Thank you, jurors. Those are your instructions. We're in recess until such time as a verdict has been reached.
David: That story you told up there --
Greenlee: Is going to get you acquitted.
David: I didn't want you to find out what really happened the night of your accident. Not until you were strong enough.
Greenlee: I am strong. You've done enough, David. More than enough. This feels good. Finally getting to do something for you.
Bailiff: He can't have visitors.
Erica: That outrageous story you spun. That vicious lie. You can't possibly be so demented that you actually believe it.
Greenlee: Of course, I believe it. Kendall is absolutely capable of trying to murder me. She is your daughter, after all.
Erica: You'll never get away with this.
Greenlee: Bring it, Erica. Try to get them to file charges against me. Have me arrested. I really don't care. But I promise you one thing -- if Kendall comes back here, I will make her pay.
Erica: Kendall did not run you off the road, Greenlee. It was an accident.
Greenlee: What did Freud say? "There are no accidents."
Erica: Every lie you've ever told has blown up in your face. This one won't be any different.
Greenlee: No. No. This time, the lie came from all of you. Pretending Kendall wasn't responsible for me almost losing the use of my legs, almost losing my life. That's the lie that's exploding in your face now. Boom.
Erica: Did you know that Ryan defended you again today? He defended you before we came into this courtroom. And Ryan is a very smart man. He is not easily fooled. So there must be something in you that Ryan sees that makes him be so loyal to you, so devoted to you. And, ok, I'll admit it. I mean, I've had glimpses of a genuine humanity in you in the past. And now, it shouldn't just go away.
Greenlee: It's there. Ground under the rubber of Kendall's tires. Burned in the fireplace that you and Ryan had sex in front of. But it's there.
Erica: Kendall, I know you're on your way back to Pine Valley. I will meet you at the airport. Stay there and wait for me.
Annie on recording: We did not just jump in bed together. We made love. Deny it all you want, but you know that's true.
J.R.: Mm. I can cut that part out.
Marissa: I want to help. Whatever it is, you can tell me.
Annie: Nothing. Nothing. It's just been a long day. Sometimes it's not so easy being a part of this family.
Marissa: Yeah. Well, if you need to talk, I'm here. Or you could always talk to J.R.
Annie: Oh, you know what? I realized I forget to get Emma at the bus stop. Excuse me.
[J.R. watches a tape of Brooke and Adam kissing]
Brooke on recording: No, Adam, I don't want to hear this. I -- I don't --
Marissa: What the hell is that?
Adam: Could we finish this conversation just once?
Brooke: You kissed me?!
Adam: You're surprised?
Brooke: What I'm surprised about is after all these years you still don't listen. You cannot feel whatever it is you're feeling.
Adam: Brooke, please.
Brooke: Adam, you and I are friends. I have been very clear about that, and I thought you understood.
Adam: But there are so many questions. So many thoughts.
Brooke: And a wife!
Adam: Yes. A wife. You and Annie are vastly different.
Brooke: You took vows.
Adam: But I'm not trying to break them. I love Annie. I really do. It was a love born of gratitude. She saved my life.
Brooke: Oh. Well, now this all makes sense.
Liza: I had to go with it. Without Greenlee's testimony, you would have been convicted for sure. At least now you have a chance.
David: You do know she lied, don't you?
Liza: For you. I can't believe I'm gonna say this, but do you want me to go talk to the judge?
David: So Greenlee can be charged with perjury? No. No. It's done.
Bailiff: They've reached a verdict.
Ryan: We need to talk.
Greenlee: Save it. I already had a chat with your ex-girlfriend. I'm sure you have nothing to add. I have work to do. You need to leave.
Ryan: I'm not going anywhere, Greenlee.
Greenlee: I have nothing to say to you, but for the record, everything I said in court was true.
Ryan: No, it wasn't. It was all lies. All of it. But believe it or not, that's not the part that bothers me the most. It's not your lies, Greenlee, it's mine. It's the lie that I've been telling myself since I found out you were alive. The lie that we still have a chance.
Marissa: Are you spying on your father? Did Annie see that kiss? Is that why she's so upset?
J.R.: You saw Annie?
Marissa: Yeah. I tried to get her to tell me what was wrong, but she just ran off.
J.R.: [Sighs] This was a mistake. I wasn't trying to record my father. I was trying to record his shady wife.
Marissa: You think Annie's shady? What about your father? He's cheating with another woman.
J.R.: Yeah, but Annie could only hurt him. I think he's finally realizing that he doesn't want her in his life anymore. I want her gone. I want her out of this house now.
Marissa: She saved your life.
J.R.: She's still dangerous. Trust me.
Marissa: Ok, so you set up this hidden camera to catch her doing what exactly?
J.R.: Scott, hopefully. Those two have always had a thing. I get them on tape, I show my dad that Annie's been lying the whole time. And he ends up with Brooke.
Marissa: Annie's the reason that you're alive, and you're still trying to bring her down? Now you have this recording that won't do any good. It won't do anything except cause pain.
J.R.: Yeah, you know what? You're right. You're right.
[J.R. throws the camera card in the fireplace]
Brooke: I was there for you when J.R. was sick. And you're confusing gratitude to me for something deeper.
Adam: No. You're wrong.
Brooke: Adam, you've been through such a difficult time. And emotions have run very high and we've spent an intense period of time together, and it's understandable that you think you feel things that you really don't.
Adam: This isn't going away. We have to face it.
Brooke: What do you want from me?
Adam: I don't know. I just know that I can't risk losing you.
Brooke: I am not yours to lose. Even if this were a real possibility, there aren't any options. There's no point.
Adam: Even if this were a real possibility --
Brooke: It's not, Adam.
Ryan: You just accused the best friend that you've ever had of murder. Why? Because you want to show everybody how disappointed you are, how badly you've been hurt. Well, congratulations. I think you succeeded. So -- how does that feel?
Greenlee: Pretty damn great.
Ryan: You've done everything in your power to push me away, and I've just sort of took it because -- because I figured in time, I could show you that we belong together. I would get through all of the anger and all of the pain, and I would get to the part that knows how to forgive. That's -- that's who I want. But this -- I don't know who this is. I can't fight for her. I certainly can't love her. I can't love anybody who would do something that low to Kendall. I'm done.
Judge Meyers: Dr. Hayward, please rise. In the matter of the commonwealth versus David Hayward, how do you find?
Jury foreman: We, the jury, find the defendant, David Hayward, to be not guilty on all charges.
Erica: Jesse. What are you doing here?
Jesse: Police business. The D.A. heard you say that you were going to meet Kendall here at the airport.
Jesse: So I have orders to bring her in for questioning as soon as she steps off that plane.
Kendall: Hi, buddy! Hi! Oh, it's so good to see you. Promise me this isn't forever. That after we do what we came here to do, we're going home.
[Zach hugs Kendall and Spike]
