Adam: I should be fluffing your pillows. You're the one who just had surgery.

Brooke: And you're the one whose heart nearly stopped. We're a fine pair, aren't we?

Adam: Yes, yes, we are. I was trying to help. In the end, I just brought in some more stress. You are the one island of peace I have in my life.

J.R.: We got here as soon as we could.

Adam: I'm fine. I'm fine.

J.R.: My cell phone was off. If I had have known, I would've --

Adam: Son, son, please. I'm sure that you and Annie were more than a little busy doing something much more important in Washington.

Liza: So how's Adam?

David: He's probably home by now. I adjusted his meds, his pacemaker. But if he doesn't change his lifestyle, he's not gonna have one.

Liza: Right. Adam changing his spots? That's something I'd like to see. But I tell you what, it doesn't hurt that the jury saw you save a life.

David: So what happened after I left?

Liza: The D.A. tried to call for a mistrial, but I convinced the judge to proceed.

David: That's why I hired you.

Liza: Tomorrow is gonna be the challenge. We're up against the bribery charges and tampering with a corpse.

David: I have complete confidence in you, Counselor.

Liza: I would have more confidence with Greenlee's testimony. I know, you don't want her to testify, but I need it. I thought she would be back by now.

David: Have you heard from her?

Erica: Oh, Ryan, thank God you're here.

Ryan: Greenlee with Kendall?

Erica: Ryan, I tried to get to Kendall to warn her about Greenlee, explain to her that Greenlee is still alive, but somehow Greenlee got to her first.

Ryan: And does she know about Kendall's part in the accident?

Erica: I don't know what Greenlee knows. I wanted to stay. I wanted to stay there to help Kendall if she needed any, but Kendall insisted that I leave. So I've been trying to track down Zach, but I don't know where he is. I don't even know where to begin to find him here in Spain.

Ryan: Don't worry about Zach. I'm sure he's gonna show up.

Erica: The thing is I never should have left Kendall alone with that banshee. I mean, when Greenlee finds out the truth, God knows what she's gonna do.

Ryan: It's gonna be ok. If anybody knows how to handle Greenlee, it's Kendall.

Kendall: What? Greenlee, no. No, never. Are you kidding me? I was not trying to kill you so that I could have Ryan. No, never.

Greenlee: All the lies -- how you and Ryan slept together because I was gone, you were grieving. You weren't grieving, you were thrilled. You won. You finally got what you always wanted: Ryan all to yourself.

Kendall: No, you're wrong.

Greenlee: Our entire friendship has been about you stabbing me in the back. This was just the final cut.

Erica: Ryan, you should have seen Kendall with Greenlee. I mean, Kendall and Zach have been living in their own little world. They have no idea what's been going on in Pine Valley. Kendall was absolutely shocked, and Greenlee wouldn't stop, and you know she won't stop until she gets the truth out of Kendall.

Ryan: Well, you know how I feel about that. I think it's about time that Greenlee does hear the truth about this.

Erica: Greenlee is too angry to hear the truth.

Ryan: Yes, she's angry, Erica. She's angry she lost a year of her life. A year, right? And when she comes back, everything that she thinks that she knows has changed, and she's trying to deal with all that. And now she finds out that the accident, her accident, was covered up.

Erica: And Kendall is at the center of all of that, and you know Greenlee. You know she's gonna jump to every possible wrong conclusion.

Ryan: And Kendall will help her through that.

Erica: She doesn't want help. Greenlee doesn't want to understand. Greenlee wants revenge. That's all she's wanted ever since she came back. And now she has Kendall in her sights, and she's not gonna let up. I can't let that happen. Ryan, please, you have got to go to the yacht. You've got to stop Greenlee.

Ryan: This is between the two of them, Erica.

Erica: Ok. If you're not gonna help, you tell me, why are you here?

Ryan: I'm here for Spike. I want to find out how long Kendall and Zach plan to keep him away from me, that's all.

Erica: Well, go see Spike, see him, and talk to Kendall and Zach. And while you're there, please, just peel Greenlee off my daughter.

Ryan: For the last time, Erica, I am not getting involved.

Erica: You know, you keep saying that, but, Ryan, the truth is you are involved. You're already involved. You love Greenlee. This is your perfect chance to sweep her off her feet, sweep her away from Kendall.

Ryan: Please, would you just stop pushing this? Please don't.

Erica: All right. If you won't go, I will.

Ryan: Erica?

Erica: What are you doing?

Ryan: You're not going anywhere.

Kendall: I did not want Ryan.

Greenlee: You and Zach were having problems.

Kendall: That doesn't mean I wanted the man you were going to marry.

Greenlee: Of course, you did. You've never stopped wanting Ryan, and you've never stopped using him to hurt me.

Kendall: That's not true.

Greenlee: The first time we got married, what happened?

Kendall: Oh, Greenlee, that was a long time ago.

Greenlee: You hated the fact that Ryan and I were together so much that you attacked me and tried to stop the wedding. This time around, you just ran me off the road.

Kendall: Ok, you know this is crazy, right?

Greenlee: Why? Because you're my best friend? Because you've always been so happy for me and Ryan?

Kendall: Yes.

Greenlee: Like the time you were so happy for us that you offered to carry our baby because I couldn't? What happened? Oh, that's right. You used your egg so you could have Ryan's baby.

Kendall: Greenlee, I knew that you wanted Ryan's baby more than anything. I wanted to give that to you. Using my egg was the only way.

Greenlee: To screw me over again. Wasn't effective as try to kill me off, but it did get me out of town.

Kendall: Oh, God, no. I never wanted you to leave.

Greenlee: And then when I came back to town, what happened? You were such a good friend. You were so happy for me. You even wanted Ryan and me to get back together again.

Kendall: I did.

Greenlee: Yes, and when we did get back together again, you couldn't handle it. So you saw your chance and you took it!

Kendall: Ok, you know what? Shut the hell up! Where the hell do you get off rewriting history so that you're always my victim? We both know that is not true.

Liza: No, I just assumed that wherever she went and whatever she was doing, that she would be back.

David: The last time Greenlee was here, she was distracted. After insisting that she would be with me every step of the way in this trial, she suddenly announced that she wasn't gonna be around.

Liza: That's exactly what you wanted. So what's the problem?

David: That's not like Greenlee to just disappear and not tell me where she is.

Liza: Maybe she wanted to get away from the stress.

David: Or maybe she's doing something that I should know about. So if you know something, Liza, and I get the feeling that you do, now would be the perfect time to tell me.

Liza: I would rather focus on your trial.

David: I told you in confidence, Liza, that Kendall ran Greenlee off the road. Did you tell her?

Marissa: Hey.

Colby: Hey.

Marissa: I had to check on A.J. before I went in. How's Adam?

Colby: He's gonna be fine.

Marissa: Oh, good.

Colby: Yeah.

Marissa: God, it wouldn't have happened at all if it weren't for my dad's trial.

Colby: No, no, no. David saved his life.

Marissa: Yeah, I know. But whatever good my father does doesn't begin to make up for the damage that he's caused too many people. I hope that he's found guilty and goes to prison for a long time.

Colby: No, no, no. You don't mean that.

Marissa: No, it's the only way that he won't be able to hurt anyone. At least Adam's ok.

Colby: So was J.R. surprised when you showed up in D.C.?

Marissa: Yeah, completely. But I think the trip took a lot more out of him than he expected.

Colby: Well, being cooped up with Annie would suck the life out of anyone, right?

Marissa: Yeah, it's weird: J.R. and Annie seem to be really getting along. Who would've thought?

Colby: Yeah. Who would've thought?

Annie: I am never leaving you again.

Adam: You're completely overreacting.

Brooke: Well, it's a miracle that he's alive.

J.R.: I thought you were getting better. What happened?

Adam: It was an isolated incident.

Brooke: If you don't tell them, I will.

Annie: Tell us what?

Adam: I have not been feeling well for quite sometime.

Annie: What? But you never said a thing.

Adam: I didn't want to worry the family.

J.R.: You should've told me.

Adam: You were dying.

J.R.: You could've died.

Adam: But I didn't. So why don't you come and tell us about the big trip? You accomplished everything you wanted?

Annie: It was fine. And, obviously, you were fine here without me. Adam, why wouldn't you tell me how sick you were? Why would you tell Brooke and not me?

Adam: Don't take it personally.

Annie: I am your wife. It's very personal.

Brooke: Adam didn't want to worry you, Annie.

Annie: Yes. And I'm sure you made the most of it. Adam, it's not just that you didn't tell me about your heart. You lied to me. You brought Brooke here, and you didn't even tell me. You led me to believe that she was still in the hospital, when really she was here playing house in my house with my husband! And do --

J.R.: Annie, don't. I'd like to speak with my father alone.

Brooke: Sure.

Annie: Fine.

Colby: Hey.

Brooke: Hey.

Colby: I'm gonna go get my dad some juice. He likes cranberry now, right?

Annie: Why are you asking her?

Brooke: Cranberry's good. Annie, can I have a word with you?

Annie: I really don't want to hear what you have to say.

Brooke: Well, that's too bad, because if you don't, you'll kill your husband. What just happened in there is exactly what Adam doesn't need.

Annie: I don't need a lecture on what Adam needs. I knew I shouldn't have gone to D.C. None of this would've happened. Everything would still be ok.

Brooke: You couldn't have prevented what happened at the trial.

Annie: I could've prevented you moving in on my husband.

Brooke: How many times do I have to tell you? Adam and I are just friends.

Annie: "Just friends. Just friends." That's right. But you did get him to lie for you.

Brooke: I didn't even know he lied to you.

Annie: You could've said no, but you didn't. You didn't stay at the hospital, and I didn't stay home, and now everything has gone to hell.

Adam: If I had told Annie that Brooke was coming back, then Annie would've dropped everything and rushed home. Do you realize what that would've done to you? My way, you and Annie could make the world a better place.

J.R.: You've got to promise not to cut me out of the loop anymore. Whatever you need, whatever it is, you can count on me.

Adam: You have no idea how much it pleases me to hear you say that. But I don't want you pushing yourself too hard, son.

J.R.: No, Dad, I'm getting stronger every day. Whatever needs to be handled, I'll handle it -- including Annie.

Adam: Really? What does that mean, exactly?

Liza: I did not tell Greenlee that Kendall ran her off the road. Now, can we focus?

David: But you did tell her something, didn't you? Greenlee's gone on some secret trip, and I think you had something to do with that. Liza!

Liza: All right, maybe something slipped out about another car being involved in the accident.

David: What!?

Liza: That is all I said. What could be the harm in that?

David: With Greenlee? She's launched World War III with much less!

Liza: Ok, now you're overreacting.

David: Oh, my gosh. What did she do when you told her? Tell me!

Liza: She was still determined to find the truth.

David: And how the hell was she planning on doing that? Liza, I swear to you, if you don't tell me right now, you are fired!

Liza: Well, I guess after leaving me, she realized that Kendall might know something.

David: Oh, damn it! What the hell were you thinking? Do you have any idea what the hell you've done!?

Guard: Is there a problem here?

Liza: No. We're fine. We're fine. My client is just a little agitated, but he'll calm down.

David: If anything happens to Greenlee, if she is hurt in any way, I am holding you personally responsible.

Erica: Ok, Ryan, take the key out of your pocket and open the door right now.

Ryan: Not gonna happen. Sucks, doesn't it, sort of being powerless like this? It's exactly how Greenlee feels. It is! It is. She comes back to her life, and everything that she knows -- or almost everything -- has changed, right, and she tries to find answers. She tries to ask people questions, and she gets stonewalled.

Erica: Well, do not compare me to Greenlee. People are stonewalling Greenlee because it's for her own --

Ryan: Her own good? Really?

Erica: Yeah.

Ryan: Really, is that up to us to decide? And that's not what she likes. She doesn't like to be protected. If we want to really help Greenlee, we just give her the truth, let her deal with it.

Erica: You mean so she can blow it all out of proportion and toss my daughter overboard? I don't think so. So, what? This is just now we're gonna wait this out?

Ryan: Yeah.

Erica: Ok. Ok. And you can talk all you want to about being here for Spike. But while we're on the subject of honesty, why don't you tell the truth? You're here for Greenlee, too.

Kendall: Yes, Greenlee, I have hurt you. I have done some terrible things, and I am sorry about that. But you give as good as you get.

Greenlee: Hmm. Self-defense: It's the only way I could've survived this "friendship."

Kendall: Really? Ok. Well, was it self-defense when you slammed into court and ripped off my dress to prove I wasn't pregnant? I was trying to protect my sister.

Greenlee: I didn't know.

Kendall: Yes, yes, exactly. All you cared about was proving how brilliant and great you are. And then there's Spike. I was in premature labor with Ian, and where was my best friend? Trying to kidnap my other son. You drove into a ravine, he nearly died.

Greenlee: I am still sorry about that. It was an accident.

Kendall: Yes, exactly, Greenlee! An accident! An accident, and I realize that. I realize that, and I forgave you for trying to hurt my child. I forgave you. Now, that's what I'm asking for you to do with me. Please, Greenlee. Please forgive me.

J.R.: "Handling Annie" was a poor choice of words. In fact, I think it's safe to say our days of going at each other's throats are over.

Adam: So you worked well together in Washington?

J.R.: Well, we have a better understanding of each other. I think we're gonna be getting along from now on.

Adam: Yeah, I think I sensed a difference between you earlier.

J.R.: I'm glad that Brooke's ok.

Adam: Yes. When I saw her in the hospital so pale and quiet, I really was afraid I'd lost her.

J.R.: You're not gonna lose her, Dad.

Adam: Hmm.

Annie: Ah, your juice.

Adam: Oh. But I thought Colby was getting that.

Annie: She was. But I wanted some alone time with my husband.

J.R.: Yeah, um, ahem, I'm gonna go check on A.J.

Annie: Ohh. I hated being away from you. You and Brooke here together -- Adam, promise you'll never lie to me again.

Adam: I didn't think it was that important.

Annie: That woman is determined to get in bed with you, Adam.

Adam: No, she is a friend. I've been taking care of her as a friend, just as she has been taking care of me.

Annie: I should've been here to take care of you.

Adam: But you had your hands full with J.R. I'm proud of you: Everything you've done for my son.

Colby: J.R.? So how was Washington?

J.R.: Forget about it.

Colby: No. Spill it, J.R. Give me the dirt. Did your plan work? Did Annie throw herself at you? Did you get it on tape?

J.R.: None of the above.

Colby: Ok. So it was a bust, then?

J.R.: Look, I want to spend a few minutes with A.J. while he's still awake.

Colby: No, because I need to know if you're still going through with this plan. No more macking on the stepmonster?

J.R.: Will you just stop it, Colby?

Colby: Ok. Something definitely went down with Annie, didn't it?

Erica: Ryan, I understand how intervening between Kendall and Greenlee might look like pushing.

Ryan: "Might" look like pushing?

Erica: But sometimes you just have to seize the moment. I mean, here we are. We're in beautiful, sunny, romantic Spain. It's your perfect chance to get Greenlee to fall in love with you all over again.

Ryan: Wow. You are good. You are. You're good. You're the best, except the problem is that I know you don't really want me with Greenlee. So all this pushing me to get to the yacht is just --

Erica: I'm just thinking of you.

Ryan: You are just trying to protect your daughter, which is what you do best, ok? You want me to go in there, sweep Greenlee out so Kendall can live another day.

Erica: That sounds really good to me.

Ryan: Come on, Erica, Greenlee deserves to know the truth, and she deserves to know it now. I mean, it's been long enough already, ok? And whatever happens is between Kendall and Greenlee, as long as the truth comes out.

Erica: Oh, boy! Now you sound just like Jack.

Ryan: Really? What, the voice of reason?

Erica: No! Jack just rants on and on and on about the truth. But is Jack here? Is Jack here? No. He's not stopping his out-of-control daughter. Jack is back in Pine Valley. You know, every time I think that there is a chance that Jack and I might get back together again, we could work things out, Greenlee shows up. She's right in the middle of everything. Do you know Jack -- Jack convinced me -- me -- to ask him out on a date. So we go out on a date, and who shows up? Greenlee, because that's what she does! She always shows up! And Jack wants me to make nice with her. He wants me to understand all the pain and the nonsense and -- oh. Ohh! I have to make nice with his daughter no matter what she has done to Kendall and to me.

Ryan: So you and Jack are dating again?

Erica: Jack doesn't want to date me. Jack wants to control me.

Ryan: Which leads me to my next question -- are you here to see Kendall or are you here to get away from Jack?

Jack: All right, Hayward, what is it?

David: Tell me it isn't true. Tell me Greenlee did not go looking for Kendall.

Jack: She did. And I hope she finds her, and I hope Kendall tells her the truth.

David: Do you have any idea what that's gonna do to Greenlee?

Jack: I know it's gonna be difficult, but Kendall will help her through it.

David: Are you kidding me? Kendall doesn't give a damn about Greenlee. She let Zach talk her into covering up the accident.

Jack: Because Kendall thought Greenlee was dead.

David: No. Because she wanted to cover her backside, and she still does. So you need to find Greenlee. You need to bring her back before she finds Kendall.

Jack: I see. So this has nothing to do with the fact that you and Liza need her back here so she can testify on your behalf?

David: I already told you I don't want Greenlee anywhere near that courtroom.

Jack: Yeah, you've told me a lot of stuff across the years. But the truth is Greenlee's testimony is your key to staying out of prison.

David: Let me make this very clear to you. If Greenlee finds Kendall and she learns the truth about that night, it could destroy her.

Jack: You know as well as anyone how strong Greenlee is. But, yes, you're right. It's been nothing but pain for her ever since she came back here, but that's because of you. You, taking a year of her life and keeping her in a bubble!

David: Well, some might call it saving her life.

Jack: Some might call it controlling her. Some might call it you having the power of knowing that she's alive while everybody else thought she was dead and gone.

David: Let me tell you something. If I had the chance to do it all over again, I would keep Greenlee away from all of you forever.

Kendall: When I thought you were dead, I was heartbroken. I couldn't imagine life without you, my best friend. And Ryan was shattered.

Greenlee: The grief sex must've been terrific.

Kendall: Greenlee, we only turned to each other because we had both just lost the love of our lives.

Greenlee: Every time Zach leaves a room, you sleep with someone to get over it.

Kendall: It was a mistake. Ryan and I both realize that because I was still in love with Zach, and he was still in love with you. For months even when you were gone, you were all Ryan wanted.

Greenlee: When he wasn't sleeping with Erica.

Kendall: Greenlee, you are alive. You are here. We should be celebrating. We can have everything we want, everything that we've dreamed about. Sharing our lives together, our company, our families?

Zach: The boys are with the nanny at the hotel. I think I wore them out. Greenlee?

Greenlee: Alive and well.

David: You, Jake, Ryan -- you all act like you love Greenlee so damn much. But all you really want to do is control her, manager her.

Jack: Says the man with a God complex.

David: No. I gave her a fresh chance at life, a chance to do whatever she wanted. She chose to stay here in Pine Valley and fight. I should've convinced her to stick to our original plan.

Jack: Well, thank God the only place you're going is a more secure cell.

David: I'm not going to jail.

Jack: Maybe not for drugging Adam, but there's all those other charges: Tampering with evidence, abuse of a corpse.

David: Yeah, right. Don't forget bribery, falsifying public documents.

Jack: I won't forget any of them, believe me. No matter how good Liza thinks she is, you're gonna go down for those things. There's just too much evidence. You're gonna go to prison. Then Greenlee will finally be able to end this sham of a marriage, start thinking for herself again, and forgive the people she needs to forgive and move on.

David: Are you talking about Ryan?

Jack: Maybe so. Hey, you know what? Maybe that's what she's doing even as we speak.

David: Ryan went after Greenlee?

Jack: Yes, David, he did.

Zach: That's quite a story. Now you're here.

Greenlee: It's not the first time I've survived the impossible.

Kendall: Greenlee thinks I hit her on purpose, Zach. Please tell her the truth. Tell her I would never hurt her.

Zach: The boys want to talk to you. They want to tell you how they spent their day. Give them a call, would you please?

Greenlee: You can cut the "surprise" and "glad to see me" part.

Zach: I don't know what that means.

Greenlee: Stop the act. You obviously knew I was alive. Isn't that why you really took Kendall out of the country, planted her on a boat out of touch with everyone? Anything to keep your precious wife out of prison for attempted murder?

Zach: Take it easy. I didn't know you were alive.

Greenlee: Then why did you run?

Zach: Who's running? My wife and I are here, because we're working on our marriage.

Greenlee: And is it healed? Have you been able to get over the fact that Ryan and Kendall both betrayed us?

Colby: What happened between you and Annie? And don't say "nothing," because it is all over your face.

J.R.: Yeah, that's called guilt for not being there for Dad when he needed me again.

Colby: Well, if you really want to help Dad, back off this plan to make Annie look like some whore.

J.R.: Will you drop it?

Annie: What do you two have your heads together about?

Colby: Uh, well, we were just talking about the trip you guys had. But I'm gonna go say good night to my dad.

[Door opens and closes]

Annie: Same old same old around here, huh? I go to Washington to make a difference. I have Congress hanging on my every word, reporters asking me for quotes. But what do I get when I come home? Absolutely no respect. I come home to find Brooke playing wife.

J.R.: Yeah, forget about Brooke.

Annie: I want her out of this house.

J.R.: Just stop it, Annie, ok? We need to talk about what happened.

Annie: There's nothing to talk about. It's never gonna happen again.

J.R.: No, it won't, because I love my wife.

Annie: And I love Adam.

David: How can Ryan be so stupid to go after Greenlee?

Jack: Because he loves her?

David: She's only told him a thousand times she wants nothing to do with him.

Jack: He may be exactly what she needs right now.

David: Oh, really? See, that shows how little you know your daughter. He shows up, it's only gonna piss her off more.

Jack: Or maybe she'll finally get it, huh? Hmm? Maybe she'll understand that he's never stopped loving her. Without you whispering in her ear, maybe she'll finally get it.

David: Trust me, he's making a mistake.

Jack: You know, you go on and on about how Greenlee needs to be protected and all this, and while you're buried in this jail cell, that's exactly what Ryan's trying to do. You know, David, your time might be better spent in the realization that, blessedly, my daughter is out of your reach. And then also, of course, you have to consider how you're gonna survive in prison. Guard?

Erica: This is ridiculous.

Ryan: You said that.

[Knock on door]

Kendall: Mom? It's me.

Ryan: Here.

Erica: Oh, thank God you're all right, honey!

Kendall: What are you doing here?

Ryan: I had to come.

Kendall: Ryan. It's Greenlee. Greenlee's back. She's here. She's alive.

Ryan: I know.

Kendall: But she thinks that I tried to kill her so that I could be with you.

Erica: Ohh --

Ryan: What?

Erica: You see? This is exactly what I was afraid of.

Kendall: Mom, you should've told me the second you knew about Greenlee. I mean, come on. She's my best friend. I could've helped her.

Erica: No, you couldn't, honey. Nobody could help Greenlee. Honey, Greenlee has been in a complete rage ever since she came back. She tried to destroy Fusion. And she married David Hayward to hurt Ryan.

Kendall: Well, she feels betrayed.

Erica: Whatever. She is trying to make everyone's life a living hell, which is why you need to stay away from her as far as possible.

Kendall: Yeah, ok, Greenlee's angry. I mean, can you blame her? She almost died because of me. And then she came back to find that Ryan had been with you and me. Of course, she wants to blow everything up. I don't blame her. You must've talked to her about us.

Ryan: I did.

Kendall: So did you tell her that it was a mistake and that we regretted everything?

Ryan: Yes. Of course, I tried, but she's not really in a position to hear it right now.

Erica: And she's never gonna be ready to hear that, never. This is what you have to do, Kendall. You have to find Zach, you have to take your boys and go.

Kendall: Zach is with Greenlee right now.

Zach: A year of your life, just trying to get things back. And I remember in the bomb shelter you used to say you just need your friends and your family and things the way they were, and they're not like that. They're not normal, so I'm sorry about that.

Greenlee: I don't need your pity. I need you to tell me why you're standing by Kendall. She slept with Ryan. She cheated on you again. The first time she thought you were dead, but this time? With Ryan?

Zach: We were going through a rough patch.

Greenlee: And that makes it ok? Why, Zach?

Zach: Why? Because I love my family.

Greenlee: You know, we've always been honest with each other. Maybe it was all those weeks we spent in that horrible pit, but I trust you completely. And so I'm asking you right now, tell me the truth.

Zach: All right.

Greenlee: Have you really been able to forgive and forget Ryan and Kendall sleeping together?

Zach: No.

Annie: All I want to do is snuggle all night long.

Adam: Oh, that sounds wonderful, but, unfortunately, doctor's orders -- no wives in bed.

Annie: Well, maybe we can get a second opinion.

Adam: Ha ha ha ha!

Annie: Oh. Perfect timing.

Brooke: Oh. Sorry. You left these out, and I just wanted to make sure that you remember to take them before going to bed.

Annie: That is very kind of you, Brooke. Thank you. I will make sure my husband gets these.

Brooke: Good night, then.

Adam: Good night. Good night.

Annie: All right. We don't want anybody thinking I'm a bad wife, now, do we?

Adam: Yeah, you're an angel, remember?

Annie: Mm-hmm. Yeah: An angel who has to sleep alone. Shall we go upstairs?

Adam: You run along. I'll be up shortly. It's a great book.

Annie: Ok. All right, I'll see you in the morning, then.

J.R.: Is A.J. still awake? I'd like to give him his souvenir.

Marissa: No. He just fell asleep.

J.R.: [Sighs] Great. I guess I'll have to wait till morning, then.

Marissa: Have I told you in the last 10 minutes how proud I am of you?

J.R.: I love you.

Colby: Looks like a party, huh?

Liza: So court reconvenes tomorrow at 11:00.

David: You came back.

Liza: Yeah, I don't scare easily, and I don't bail on my clients -- even if they are acting like asses. So are we set? Are you gonna fire me?

David: Greenlee told me to trust you.

Liza: Yeah? She's a smart woman.

David: But the tactics are about to change.

Liza: No, we're sticking to the plan.

David: No. The hell with the plan. It's not working. I need to get out of here, Liza, and we both know the chances of that happening are slim to none. So from this point forward, your job is to find someone that I can bribe and find out how much. I'll give you whatever you need to give whoever you need to get rid of these charges.

Liza: You're serious?

David: I'm very serious. I need to get out of here. Right now Greenlee's out there, maybe with Kendall, maybe with Ryan, and if she is, they're gonna break her into a million pieces. So I need to be there to help put her back together again.

Erica: Kendall's fine, honey. I just wanted you to know. So, kiss Miranda, kiss Gaby for us. Ok. Bye. Your sister is so worried about you. She wants to come.

Kendall: No, Mom, you're supposed to be on a plane to go see her.

Erica: I know, but I just -- I can't bring myself to leave you. Honey, I am so worried about what Greenlee might do to you.

Kendall: No, Mother, listen to me. I will be fine, ok? It's not like I'm alone. Zach is here.

Ryan: And I'm not going anywhere.

Kendall: Ok, you see? Now, go. Go.

Erica: All right.

Kendall: All right?

Erica: I love you. You take care of yourself and Zach and the boys.

Kendall: I will. I love you.

Erica: Ok. [Whispering] Listen, anything you can do to make sure that Greenlee doesn't hurt Kendall.

Ryan: It's gonna be ok. It's gonna be ok.

Erica: [Normal voice] Ok. Bye.

Ryan: Safe trip.

Kendall: God, Ryan, how could Greenlee ever believe in a million years that I would want her dead?

Ryan: Greenlee might not have died that night, Kendall, but something inside her did.

Greenlee: You can't forgive and forget, but you're still with her?

Zach: Uh, I've forgiven Kendall. It's just the forgetting thing I have a hard time with.

Greenlee: But this romantic life at sea? I mean, you must still love her?

Zach: I do.

Greenlee: The way you used to love her? The way I used to love Ryan before they both betrayed us?

Zach: No. I don't love Kendall that way anymore, and I don't think I ever will.
