Reese: That will be a continuous glass wall.

Zach: Mm-hmm.

Woman: Excuse me, Mr. Slater. There's a messenger with a package here for you.

Zach: All right, sign for it.

Woman: I think you might want to do that yourself.

Zach: Why? Who's it from?

Woman: Your wife.

Taylor: 94 -- 95 -- 96 -- 97 --

Brot: 98 -- 99 -- 100.

Frankie: Hey, we need to talk.

Jake: What's up?

Frankie: Taylor's fiancé.

Jake: Yeah.

Frankie: Brot. He's alive, and he's here in Pine Valley.

Jake: You're kidding me? Does she know?

Frankie: No, not yet. I gave Brot a deadline. He's got 20 minutes.

Jake: A deadline for what?

Frankie: To come clean. Either he tells Taylor, or I do.

Taylor: Hey. Are you guys talking about me?

Krystal: Angie. I'm sorry. I know you're busy.

[Krystal sniffles]

Angie: Are you all right?

Krystal: No. No, I need your help. I just feel like I'm losing my mind.

Greenlee: Ok, Emma, why don't you come right here and get out your books and your crayons and color, ok?

Amanda: Good morning.

Greenlee: Good morning. You know, I never thought I'd say this, but I am glad she's ok.

Amanda: Seriously, getting stabbed, how scary is that? Well, now that Erica's in the hospital, it would be a really great time for you to start running Fusion again.

Greenlee: I never stopped running Fusion.

Amanda: Well, things have definitely changed since someone barged in. I've been answering phones and fetching lattes.

Greenlee: Don't worry. I'm in charge. You report to me.

Bianca: And you report to my mother.

Ryan: What are you doing here?

Taylor: All right, boys. What are you huddling about? Cough it up.

Jake: I have to go to the E.R, and I was asking Frankie if he would cover for me. Physical therapy. For you.

Taylor: Oh, please. Why are you so hush hush?

Jake: Um, we're not, we're not at all. Um, I -- I just wanted to work out a, you know, something with him that would maybe kick your butt, and I actually have that M.R.I. if you want to see it.

Frankie: Yeah, yeah, great. Let's take a look. Be right back.

Jake: It's as simple as that. This is not happening.

Frankie: Yes, it is.

Jake: But you were in Iraq when the explosion --

Frankie: He survived. I don't know how, but he did. Bottom line, Brot heard about Taylor's accident, so he came to see her to make sure she's all right, but only from a distance. At least that's the story he gave me after he saw you two together.

Jake: So wait a second. So he's been around here? He's been seeing her? He's be -- he saw us together?

Frankie: Well, he said he just wanted one last look. He got it. Now, he's supposedly taking off.

Jake: So he doesn't want to talk to her? He doesn't want to say something and --

Frankie: Brot has been burned over most of his body. He says he's a different man than Taylor knows. If he's like that, then Taylor's better off thinking he's dead. Now that's what came out of his mouth. His eyes tell me a different story.

Jake: Tell her.

Frankie: You could lose her.

Jake: It makes me want to throw you up against a wall and make sure that you don't open your mouth. Tell her. Not an option.

Krystal: I'm lost. I can't eat. I can't sleep. I'm walking around in a daze, and I don't know if I'm coming or going.

Angie: You just lost your daughter. It's perfectly normal.

Krystal: Can't you give me something? You know, a pill, or something, just so I can rest, just shut off my mind and not think.

Angie: You know, when I lost Jesse, I wanted to disappear into some dark hole, but I realized that I couldn't hide. You can't. You have to face it, move through it, and, darling, I know that it hurts. I know that it does, but let the thoughts come, ok? It's a good thing.

Krystal: What's going through my mind is not a good thing. And I can't shake it. Every time I close my eyes, it's the same visions, the same dreams.

Angie: Of Babe?

Krystal: Of David.

Reese: What is it?

Zach: It is from Kendall.

Reese: Come on. How is that possible?

Zach: She must've had them sign it before the, um --

Reese: Um --

Reese: There's a card.

Zach: The Red Wings say thanks for always cheering them on. And so does your other favorite team. Team Slater. All my love, Kendall.

Greenlee: Erica does not run Fusion.

Bianca: Well, the proxy says she does.

Greenlee: She's in the hospital.

Bianca: And she's recovering so fast that even her doctors can't believe it, but until she is 100%, I'll be here filling in for her. After all, I do have plenty of experience.

Greenlee: That's an amazing offer, really, but I'm perfectly capable of running my own company.

Bianca: It's Kendall's company, too. And somebody needs to make sure that her interests are looked out for.

Greenlee: I'm her best friend.

Bianca: And I'm her sister.

Greenlee: Bianca, I'm sorry for what you're going through right now, but I care about this company. You know that, and Kendall knows that.

Bianca: You're right, Greenlee. I have been going through a lot lately, but right now, I need to be here. I need to do whatever I can to make sure that when Kendall wakes up, her life and her company are exactly the way she left it.

Amanda: Everybody wants what's best for Fusion, Randi, me, the whole team, but, I mean, how are we supposed to get back on track if we all are fighting, and we don't know who's in charge?

Greenlee: You're right.

Amanda: I am?

Greenlee: Yeah, you are. This company is on the rebound, and we could use as many hands as possible, so if you want to pitch in, it's a great idea.

Bianca: Thanks.

Amanda: It'll be fun remembering what makes a woman beautiful. I mean, high glamour hasn't exactly been my top priority lately.

Greenlee: Yeah, I've had some other priorities myself. You know what? I have an idea.

Bianca: Ok, shoot.

Greenlee: Amanda is up to speed with everything around here, so why doesn't she manage the office day-to-day and then report back to both of us?

Bianca: Ok, that works. You still trust me after all the Bella mess?

Greenlee: A lot has happened since then. We need to pull together and look forward and make every Fusion woman proud, wherever they are.

Aidan: I knew Annie was unstable, but putting on a wedding dress and stabbing Erica, that's crazy.

Ryan: How about kidnapping her own child? That's pretty crazy too, right?

Aidan: I went along with Annie's plan to protect your daughter and control the situation from the inside.

Ryan: Control the situation from the inside, ok, so, let's see. Di is dead. Emma almost died in a fire. Erica got stabbed. You got shot.

Aidan: Well, obviously, there were things that none of us could see coming.

Ryan: Right. Double agent. Working against Annie the entire time.

Aidan: That's what I said.

Ryan: Yeah, I know, I know. I know that's what you said, but I'm just having a little trouble swallowing it, you know? Something doesn't feel quite right with this, Aidan.

Aidan: I would never do anything to hurt Emma.

Ryan: What about me? To hurt me? Would you do something, I don't know, crazy?

Krystal: I feel a connection to David, and I hate to admit it, but it's true. I mean, I know he didn't come into Babe's life until she was older, but he is her daddy, and he understands what I'm feeling in a way that nobody else can.

Angie: I -- I do not like the idea of you leaning on David, but it makes sense.

Krystal: You don't think I'm insane?

Angie: Ugh. The woman Jesse was with all the years that we were apart is living in my house. Do you think that's insane? Is it insane? No. It's human. Sweetheart, connections between people don't always make sense. Sometimes it just happens.

Krystal: I just feel so ashamed.

Angie: Krystal, you have suffered a profound loss. There's no shame in seeking comfort, but there are other options other than David. Now listen, I'm going to get you the name of a grief counselor.

Krystal: No, no, no, I am sick of talking. I just want to stop. I want to stop everything. I'm not going to kill myself. I have Jenny, and I have Kathy, and they need me. And I want to be there for them. I do. It's just -- I just need to feel some peace.

Angie: Sweetheart. We'll find it. Together, ok? Listen, I -- I have to finish rounds, but you are more than welcome to wait here, and I will come back when I'm done, ok?

Krystal: Thank you.

Angie: Anything for you.

Krystal: God. Why am I not surprised?

Reese: Well, that's a pretty big surprise.

Zach: No, it's not. Classic Kendall.

Reese: What's the occasion?

Zach: There is no occasion. That's just it. She knew it would mean a lot to me. She knew that I would like it and that it would make me happy. I just wish I knew my wife well enough to know what -- how it would make, um --

Reese: What make? Come on, now, don't. Bianca told me you make Kendall very happy.

Zach: Ah. I love that woman more than anything in my life. Doesn't mean I make her happy. She was missing something. Someth -- I don't know what it was. I don't know, so I didn't --

Reese: Don't -- don't do this to yourself, Zach. It's -- don't.

Zach: I, uh, I wake up sometimes, and I look over to the other side of the bed, and her pillow's there, and she's 100 miles away, but I can -- I can still smell her perfume. So I get up, and I -- I go to work. I deal with contractors and architects and painters, and none of it means anything.

Reese: But you're doing the best that you can.

Zach: Yep. But I could've done better, could've taken some time to find out what makes my wife happy, but I didn't.

Reese: You know, Zach, um, there's something in architecture. It's -- it's called "keystone," ok, and that is a piece in the arch that holds everything else together. It keeps things in the place where they belong, and you and Kendall, you have a beautiful life together, a beautiful marriage, a beautiful family, home. You are the keystone. You are the keystone that keeps everything together.

Zach: Can I ask you something?

Reese: Yeah.

Zach: What does that keystone do when the doctor tells him that his wife will never wake up again?

Reese: I don't know.

Zach: Don't know either. Everyone told me this specialist was going to fix it, you know, everything was going to be ok, but she didn't. Huh, but hey, she's got brain activity, and her heart is fixed now, so that's all good, you know? You just keep her on life support for the rest of her days. Feed her through a tube. What do I do with that? How do I tell my kids that their mother isn't coming home.

Annie: Ryan, they took my wedding ring.

Ryan: I, um, I just -- I came to ask you a question. What would -- would that be all right if I -- if I asked you a question?

Annie: Of course, it's all right.

Ryan: Did, um, did anyone help you kidnap Emma?

Annie: He did.

Ryan: Who is he?

Annie: Him. Richie.

Brot: Where have you been? I'm going to miss my bus.

Colby: What's the rush? Taylor doesn't know you're here.

Brot: Any minute now, she will.

Colby: What are you talking about?

Brot: Last night, Frankie gave me an ultimatum. Either I tell Taylor by 10 hundred hours, or he does.

Colby: Ten hundred?

Brot: Now! Frankie's telling Taylor now. We have to go.

Colby: I -- I don't get it. If you knew this last night, why are you still here?

Taylor: Oh, my gosh. That is hard.

[Taylor chuckles]

Taylor: What are you doing? Are you expecting somebody?

Frankie: Yeah, an old friend of ours is in town.

Taylor: An old friend? Is that who Colby and Amanda were talking about last night?

Frankie: Yeah, yeah. Someone in our unit.

Taylor: Wow. All right, spit it out.

Frankie: When you found out that you would get your legs back, you started feeling hopeful again about your life, your future. You told me that when you feel that hope, you feel Brot and that you feel Brot's with you all the time. There's a reason for that.

Taylor: Are you going to tell me who's in town, or what?

Frankie: I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner, but he didn't want you to know.

Taylor: Who? Who are we talking about?

Frankie: Brot. Brot's here.

Taylor: I don't -- I don't get it. This is supposed to be funny? Is this the plan that Jake was talking about? The twisted little plan to -- to motivate me?

Frankie: Taylor, I'm telling you the truth.

Taylor: Stop. I swear to God.

Frankie: Hey, I do, too. I do, too, but Brot is alive.

David: Krystal, I'm just concerned about you.

Krystal: You're always showing your concern for me. You're following me around, you're -- you're watching me. I can't even close my eyes without you creeping into my head. I just wish you would leave me alone.

David: You dream about me? You know, they say dreams are wishes. What do you wish for, Krystal?

Taylor: Brot's dead.

Frankie: I thought so, too. Until I saw him.

Taylor: He died in Iraq.

Frankie: No, he went underground, got a new identity, and -- I don't know the whole story.

Taylor: I -- I saw the explosion.

Frankie: He survived.

Taylor: This is sick.

Frankie: Taylor, Taylor, just -- just listen to me.

Taylor: Oh, you are such a liar, Frankie.

Frankie: Why would I lie to you? Why? You're my friend. My fellow soldier. Someone who I have the utmost respect and love for. Now, I know this is a shock. Believe me, I know exactly where you are to -- to have someone you love more than anything ripped out of your life, and then, suddenly, they're back, and you're like, "No, no, this doesn't happen," but it did, and it has. This is not a rumor. It's not a hunch. Hey. I saw him. I was with him. I spoke to him last night. There's no doubt about it. Sergeant Broughton Monroe is alive.

Taylor: You'll take me to him?

Colby: Taylor deserves an explanation. She deserves to hear it from you. You can't leave. You love her.

Brot: The hell with this. I'll catch a cab.

Bianca: Oh, man. I got to get out of here. I'm -- I'm sorry, you guys. You mind if I check out?

Amanda: No worries. Fusion is in very capable hands.

Bianca: Ok. Bye.

Greenlee: Hey, Bianca. Everyone is really glad that Erica is going to be ok, but she wants more than to just help out with Kendall. A lot more. And I'm not going to sit back and watch it happen.

Bianca: Greenlee, you will always think the worst of my mother.

Greenlee: Sorry, I know her.

Bianca: Well, so do I, and she is running this company with you now, so you better get used to it, because the second she is out of the hospital, she'll be back.

Annie: And then when she said, "Come on, sis. It's a great idea. Kidnapping Emma will be fun. It will be like an adventure," and I said, "No, Richie, kidnapping is wrong," and he said, "No, Annie, not if it's your own kid." See, my brother's really smart, and he's good at writing notes and doing fancy things on computers, and when the --

Ryan: Annie, Annie. Richie is dead.

Annie: No. No. No, tell Ryan, Richie. Tell him that you're alive.

Ryan: Annie, just look at me for a second, ok? Just look at me. Richie is gone, ok? He's -- he's dead. You killed him.

Annie: Prove it.

Reese: Ok, Zach, you know what? You need to go to Canada. You need to go to Canada and bring Kendall home like you said you were going to, ok? She needs to be surrounded by friends and family where we can support her. She's going to be at peace, all right, and we will be here --

Zach: What do you mean "at peace"? What do you mean "peace"?

Reese: Well, she'll be here with --

Zach: Why do you -- you make it sound like she's dying?

Reese: Zach, what I meant to--

Zach: She's not dying. She's a survivor. That's what she does. She was in a coma before. Both her kids were in the -- in the hospital, Ian and Spike, at the same time, and she pulled through because she's a survivor.

Reese: Ok, I didn't mean --

Zach: No, it's ok. My dad tried to kill her, and she pulled through. She was there. Because she's a survivor! Why is it so hard for everyone to understand? She fights for things. She fights for us, for our life, for our family, for our kids, because that's what we need.

Bianca: Wait, wait, wait, Zach. What -- what is going on?

Reese: It's ok. Zach was just expressing his love for Kendall.

Colby: I'll be at the house.

Brot: What are you doing here?

Jake: How are you, Brot? Jake Martin. But you know that already because you've seen me with Taylor.

Brot: Did Frankie tell you where I was?

Jake: You know, when my brother told me somebody was paying him for information about Taylor, I thought to myself, maybe -- maybe it was her father, or maybe it's one of her brothers or something, but never in a million years would I have thought it's her dead fiancé.

Brot: I felt obligated to check on her.

Jake: That's a funny thing to say, "obligated" to check on your own fiancée.

Brot: Engagement's long over. She's moved on. Congratulations, Jake.

Jake: And that's it?

Brot: So you're right. She's one in a million.

Jake: Yeah. She is. And she thought the same thing about you, but you let her think that you were in a pine box, so you know what that means? That means you don't get to tell people how to treat her anymore.

David: Some doctor's advice. Don't fight your dreams, Krystal. It's not healthy. You need some sleep.

Krystal: Oh, God. Stop telling me what I need. I want you -- I want you gone. I want you out of my face, out of my head.

David: And when will you leave my head?

Krystal: Excuse me?

David: What? You think I don't dream about you, too? That you're not in my mind all the time?

Krystal: I'm -- I'm out of here.

David: No, wait, wait a minute, wait a minute. You can deny this all you want, but you feel it, too, the same thing that I do. There's a pull, Krystal, a bond. There is something that ties us together that nobody else can understand, not even Tad.

Krystal: Leave my husband out of this.

David: Gladly.

Greenlee: Yeah, Amanda, you don't have to call me every five minutes. I trust you. You're managing the office now, so manage. I'll be back later. Emma, where did you go? There you are. Hmm. What you got there?

Emma: A picture.

Greenlee: Yeah? Of who?

Emma: Why is there policemen there?

Ryan: Richie's -- Richie's gone. He's dead, ok? You -- you killed him, so he couldn't have helped you kidnap Emma. Now, I -- I need you to tell me who did. Who helped you?

Annie: Emma, our baby.

Ryan: That's right. That's right. It was -- it was a very elaborate plan. There was a lot high-tech equipment. There was a -- there was a $10 million ransom. There was a private jet to Puerto Rico? There was a lot of stuff. You couldn't have done all that on your own, ok? Was -- was it Aidan? Did Aidan help you kidnap Emma?

Annie: Why would I kidnap Emma? I love her.

Ryan: Was Aidan in on it, Annie?

Annie: Aid -- Aidan's not my husband, Ryan. You are. And Richie's my brother, and I didn't kill him, and I didn't take Emma. I -- ah -- everything -- every-- it doesn't really make sense right now, and my head hurts. No, no, no, no, no, no.

Ryan: Wh -- what is it? What is happening?

Nurse: It's time for Mrs. Lavery to see the doctor.

Annie: I don't need -- I don't need doctors, Ryan. I'm fine, please.

Nurse: I'll need you to step aside. We might need to sedate her.

Annie: No, no, no, Ryan, Ryan. Tell them that I'm fine, tell them that I'm fine, ok? Please don't leave me.

Nurse: I need some help in here.

Annie: Ryan, I'm scared. No, Ryan, no, don't leave me! Ryan! Oh, please stop! Ryan, I'm scared! Ryan! Don't leave me! I don't like this! Ah! Ryan, I'm your wife! Make them stop! Ryan!

Jake: You're dead. You're not dead. You show up. You don't want to stay. What kind of -- what kind of games are you playing?

Brot: I'm not playing any games. It's over now.

Brot: Well -- well, not for Taylor, it isn't. For Taylor, it's -- it's just beginning. Do you have any idea what she put herself through to try to get back to Iraq? She -- she wasn't ready, Brot. She wasn't ready mentally. She wasn't ready physically. She lied to all of her doctors. She lied to herself. All so she could get over to that hell hole and have herself blown up like her man. If she couldn't have you in this lifetime, she wanted you in the next. She couldn't let you go. She still can't let you go.

Brot: That's not how it looks.

Jake: Well, I -- I understand that. It probably doesn't -- doesn't look good, but she told me so many things about the two of you like, for example, your -- your last night together, your -- your last night when you were dancing and --

Brot: Stop.

Jake: And the music.

Ryan: Stop!

Jake: She talks about you all the time, Brot.

Brot: I said stop!

Jake: She tells me about the memories, because she's still in love with you.

[Brot scoffs]

Jake: And that's it? You're going to walk away? Just like that? How can you hurt her like this? I mean, if you -- if you walk away, you're going to leave her with a lifetime of questions, you know? And give her -- give her a chance. Let her decide where to go from here.

Brot: I don't want her anymore. She's all yours.

Jake: Well, that's obviously not true, because you're here.

Krystal: Go away.

David: You don't mean that.

Krystal: You can't comfort me. Nobody can. Babe's gone.

David: Yes, and life will never be the same again, but it does go on.

Krystal: My life is with Tad and Kathy and Jenny, not you. I need -- I need to be there for my girls. I just feel so damn weak.

David: No, no, no. Krystal, you are anything but weak. What would Babe say to you right now, if she were here? She would tell you to fight, the way you taught her.

Krystal: Fight with what? There's nothing left. I'm running on empty. I'm -- I'm just numb. I -- I don't feel anything.

David: Let me help you.

Krystal: You can't.

David: Yes, I can.

[David and Krystal kiss]

David: I can make you feel alive again.

[And they kiss some more]

Greenlee: You know, soon you are going to be ice-skating and building snowmen, because it's winter, and I love the winter, except for one thing. I always catch a cold. You know, sometimes we get sick, and we don't feel well, and right now, your mommy doesn't feel very well.

Emma: Does she have a cold?

Greenlee: Well, she's tired, and that can make her confused.

Emma: When is Mommy coming home?

Greenlee: Well, she's not here right now, but she's always with you, because she loves you very much, and just like your daddy loves you, and your brother Spike loves you, and me. I love you, too, Emma. Very much. Come here. Come here.

Zach: I got a meeting.

[Reese chuckles]

Bianca: Are you ok?

Reese: Yeah.

Bianca: What happened?

Reese: That. That happened. It, um, Kendall ordered it before. It just showed up.

Bianca: Oh, my God.

Reese: Yeah. Think it kind of threw Zach for a loop. You know, I knew how much they cared about each other, and I knew how much they had been through, but, I'm telling you, not until that very moment did I -- did I understand how grand their love was.

Bianca: Well, he shouldn't have gotten so angry.

Reese: No, it wasn't anger. It wasn't anger. It was his -- it was his passion. It was his devotion to his wife, you know? I mean, Bianca, to feel like that about someone --

Bianca: Yeah, I know. I know exactly. It's how I feel about you.

Reese: You are my world. You know that, right? I mean, you know that I have never felt like this about anyone before, and if something like this happened to you ever --

Bianca: Shh, no, no, no, no, no. It's ok.

Bianca: Look, I know. I mean, I -- I hurt for Zach, too, but when Kendall wakes up, everything is going to be fine.

Reese: Bianca, I --

Bianca: No, I know, I know it seems so horrible right now, but I'm telling you, trust me, when Kendall wakes up, everything will go back the way it was -- what?

Reese: The doctor told Zach that Kendall probably won't wake up.

[Angie walks in on Krystal and David making out]

Angie: Krystal.

Jake: Face me. What are you hiding from? Is it true what you said before? You don't want her? You don't love Taylor? Did you ever love her at all?

Brot: Damn right, I did. There were days Taylor was the only thing keeping me alive.

Jake: So tell her. Or you should leave.

Taylor: Brot!

Zach: I'm sorry about before. I -- I'm, um --

Reese: No, it's -- it's ok, you know, and I -- I understand.

Bianca: Zach. Reese told me what the doctor said about Kendall, and I think we should bring her home.

Zach: Already made the call. Because this is what she needs, you know? She needs to be surrounded by the people that love her. That'll wake her up.

Ryan: Whoa, where you going?

Emma: To make Mommy a card, so she'll get better soon.

Ryan: Ok. Go on up. That's really nice. Thank you. You were really, really great with her. I appreciate that.

Greenlee: I told her the truth, a child-friendly version of it anyway. Why didn't you?

Ryan: I did.

Greenlee: She thinks Annie's coming home.

Ryan: She's scared right now, and she's been through so much. I just wanted to give her a little reassurance, you know?

Greenlee: Yeah, but you can't build her hopes up like that. Annie's done horrible things.

Ryan: Yeah. What are you saying?

Greenlee: She's sick, Ryan. She's really sick. She may never get out of that place.

Ryan: Whoever Annie is, and whatever she's done, she's still Emma's mom.

Aidan: Hey, Annie. It's Aidan. You can stop faking now. How did it go with Ryan? Does he suspect anything?
