Frankie: You look amazing.
Randi: Thank you. I brought your suit.
Frankie: Thank you.
Randi: But I know it's your third double shift this week, and you've got all that family stuff going on, so you really don't have to come.
Frankie: And miss being arm candy for the most gorgeous woman in the world?
Angie: Look at you.
Rebecca: Look at you. When did you get all grown up on me?
Rebecca: What's this?
Natalia: It's a dress. You're going to be my date.
Jake: Wow, that's fantastic. You really look nice. I never knew.
Taylor: I am so not a party person.
Jake: Oh, sure you are.
Taylor: Tell that to the guy I killed at the last fiesta I was dragged to against my will.
Jake: Yeah, well, hopefully you won't need to take anybody out tonight.
Taylor: Well, if Dr. Hayward is there, I can't make any promises.
Jake: Well, if Dr. Hayward is there, I'll take him out myself.
Amanda: What are you doing here?
David: No need to cover up on my account. I hope you'll save me a dance.
Amanda: You can't just show up whenever you feel like it.
David: Well, as a matter of fact, I tried that last night, but you had company -- J.R. How'd that go?
Amanda: It went.
David: Great. Progress.
Amanda: The deal's off, remember?
David: You really are spectacular.
Amanda: I have to get ready.
David: Tonight, Amanda, you can bring that bastard to his knees.
Bianca: Oh, magnifique.
Erica: Well, tres jolie yourself, gorgeous.
Bianca: This was a great idea.
Erica: Yes. You know, with all the money we're going to raise tonight, we are going to make such difference in so many peoples' lives.
Bianca: A new beginning for Pine Valley, perhaps?
Erica: And for everyone affected by these tornados.
Zach: Tell me there's progress.
Dr. Farrington: I'm sorry, Mr. Slater, but we've done everything we can for your wife.
Greenlee: I'm glad you're going to the fundraiser. No, I'm fine, Dad. No, they haven't arrested Annie yet, but I'll be careful. It's Ryan and Emma that I'm worried about.
Ryan: Princess, what are you doing?
Emma: Mommy's favorite. When is she coming home?
[Annie applies red lipstick a little too much]
Annie: Beautiful. I, Annie, take thee, Ryan, 'til death do us part.
Ryan: I don't know when Mommy's coming home. She's just kind of going through a tough time right now.
Emma: Is she sad?
Ryan: Yeah, she is a little bit sad. But you know, when she comes back we can help her get better, ok? Do you have any idea how much I love you? Do you have any idea?
Emma: This much.
Ryan: This much, that's so much. You're so right. Oh, I love you so much.
Emma: Maybe it's Mommy.
Ryan: Yeah, maybe. Stay right here. Jesse. Any word?
Ryan: Emma? Would you run upstairs and put on your pajamas? Would you do that for me? Good girl, thanks.
Jesse: Yeah, nobody's seen her anywhere -- airports, train stations. This girl has pulled one hell of a disappearing act.
Rebecca: A bath and a good night's rest is about all the good time I need for tonight.
Natalia: I'll do your hair and makeup. You'll be gorgeous.
Angie: You know, it might do you good to get out, Rebecca. And actually, this will be a great chance for you to meet some of our friends.
Natalia: Please, Mom?
Rebecca: All right. Ok, I'll come.
Taylor: All right, let's get this party over with.
Jake: Nice attitude you have there.
Taylor: Well, the only reason I agreed is because I knew that you would keep pushing me until I said yes. You owe me big, by the way.
Jake: Oh, I don't have a problem owing you. I'm going to like owing you. All right, let's get your shoes on.
Taylor: I don't need those.
Jake: Sure you do. You're going to be dancing, and it's cold outside.
Taylor: There will be no dancing.
Jake: Oh, there will be dancing. Let's get going here, Ginger.
Taylor: You know what? In here in private, sure, I'll dance with you, Fred.
Jake: You know, you are being negative. You realize that, right?
Taylor: I don't want people staring at me like I'm some sort of freak.
Jake: Well, you are a freak. I'm kidding.
Taylor: I don't want to go.
Jake: I was kidding. You're not a freak.
Taylor: I'm not going to go. I'm going to be bad company.
Jake: What is wrong with you? What is the problem?
Jake: You -- let me ask you something. Does this work for you, generally? The thing that you do, freezing people out?
Taylor: Three years ago today, I met Brot. Today, three years ago. It was my first day in Iraq. We were hot, we were tired. We were jet-lagged. Mostly we were hungry. And he cut in front of me in the mess line.
Jake: Brave fellow.
Taylor: Yes, considering I was his superior officer. So I told him off. And he talked back to me.
Taylor: Next thing he knew, he was wearing my chicken surprise. And then I was wearing his orange juice.
Jake: Lovely. I hate chicken surprise with orange juice. I call that love at first fight, that's what I say.
Taylor: Yeah, pretty close. Sorry, he always comes up.
Jake: It's all right. I understand. You loved him.
Amanda: Look, we took advantage. Provoking him with Babe's dress? It seems a little cruel to do that.
David: Even crueler for you to live a life of poverty. How many times did Babe think J.R. loved her, only to have him turn on her? That's exactly what he's doing to you, Amanda. First he whips off your dress. Next thing you know, he's crying on your shoulder. If you fall for that now, if you go all soft, it's going to come back to bite you. My advice? Bite first.
Amanda: J.R. is just so wrecked over Babe.
David: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Ok, all right. How many times does he have to grind you into the dirt before you get it? Are you telling me you believe in this man enough to give up $5 million?
Amanda: $6 million.
David: Excuse me?
Amanda: I want $6 million, not $5 million. Hazard pay. And you don't get to just show up, order me around, breathe down my neck, spy on me. No, no. I get to take care of J.R. my way, on my terms, in my time. Take it or leave it.
David: Hmm. And what if I leave it?
Amanda: You won't. You need me.
David: I've got to tell you, I like the confidence.
Amanda: We have a deal?
David: I'm counting on you.
Amanda: Then leave already. I have to get dressed.
David: Don't be late.
[On the way out, David smacks Amanda's butt, and she smiles]
Bianca: You made it.
Greenlee: Why wouldn't I?
Bianca: No reason.
Greenlee: Who chose these flowers? And what about decor? I mean, what the hell is that?
Erica: That is one of my contributions.
Greenlee: Just what we need, another really big picture of you.
Erica: It's just a way to kick off the donations.
Greenlee: And make this about you, as always.
Reese: A fundraiser was Erica's idea, and she's been working non-stop all --
Greenlee: Who are you?
Greenlee: Reese. Why don't you take a swag bag and go --
Bianca: She's my fiancée. And she's worked just as hard on this event as any of us.
Greenlee: Oh. Well, thank you. I really appreciate your help. And yours, too, Bianca but this company doesn't need some diva tyrant taking over.
Erica: No, it doesn't. And I in no way want to take over your role, Greenlee. I am simply acting on my daughter's behalf.
Greenlee: Legal proxy, yes. Got it.
Greenlee: That doesn't mean you get to march all over us, calling all the shots.
Erica: For your information, both Bianca and I as well as the entire Fusion staff put this fundraiser together while you were off somewhere chasing after Ryan. So your best bet is to just back off, walk away, get out of the way, and let us do our work. Oh, why don't we go over the music with the DJ?
Bianca: Good idea.
Erica: Listen, Greenlee. I intend to continue helping this company until my daughter Kendall is back at her desk. The sooner you accept that, the better it's going to be for everyone.
Dr. Farrington: Your wife hasn't responded to any of the treatment.
Zach: Well, you keep trying.
Dr. Farrington: She should have had some neural response by now.
Zach: She's not getting any worse.
Mr. Farrington: And she's not getting any better. I think it's time that you take her home, back to Pine Valley.
Zach: This is the place, the state-of-the-art place, right?
Dr. Farrington: Dr. Martin is an exceptional physician. He'll know exactly what to do.
Zach: Let me ask you something. Are you sending her home to die?
Dr. Farrington: There's no reason to believe she won't remain in her current state.
Zach: So this is it, your great expertise?
Dr. Farrington: These things happen.
Zach: These things happen. This is my wife. You're supposed to be the great doctor. You can do things, you can fix things. You haven't done anything.
Dr. Farrington: Look, I made no promises --
Zach: Get out.
Dr. Farrington: Mr. Slater, I did everything I could.
Zach: Get out.
[The doctor exits]
Zach: Ok, it's going to be ok. I'll take you home.
David: Give me a vodka on the rocks, ok? Lime.
Erica: David, I had no idea that you would be here this evening.
David: It's a worthy cause.
Erica: Well, promise me you'll behave yourself.
David: You look beautiful.
Erica: I'll take that as a yes.
[Erica walks away]
David: Don't forget about our dance.
Amanda: Don't talk to me.
Tad: Hey, sailor. New in town?
David: Sorry, Thaddeus. My dance card's full.
Tad: Where's the pity? A couple of pieces of advice. Don't spike the punch, stay away from Krystal.
David: Whatever happened to people saying, "Hello, how have you been?"
Tad: It's just an observation, if you're going to cause trouble, why don't you do everybody a favor and leave now?
David: Your brother -- now that's a man that needs to learn his way around an operating table.
Tad: He does all right. He saved Aidan's life, didn't he?
David: Oh, not quite. If I weren't there, Aidan would be dead right now.
Erica: Jake, I had no idea you would be here.
Jake: You look beautiful. I wouldn't miss it for the world.
Erica: Thank you.
Jake: How's Gabrielle?
Erica: Oh, she's beautiful. Thank you.
Jake: Oh, good. Oh, sorry, I apologize. Bianca Montgomery, Erica Kane.
Erica: Of course, I recognize you -- the Bella party. She killed a man.
Erica: Yes, well, to save Randi. You're a hero. Enjoy.
Taylor: Thank you. I am making such a great impression on everyone.
Jake: Yes, you are.
Taylor: So are you.
J.R.: You're too good for him.
Pete: I called, I texted. I figured you bailed.
Colby: I almost did.
Pete: Because of him.
Colby: Brot's leaving in the morning. I'm taking him to the bus station.
Pete: I know you have a thing for this guy, but I really think that he's bad news.
Colby: He shouldn't leave. He has people who care about him, people who would want to know he's here.
Adam: Erica, Erica. Once again, you have unleashed your charms on poor little Pine Valley. This is a wonderful event.
Erica: Well, I hope that means you're going to bid on the auction.
Adam: If it means holding you in my arms, oh, yes, I plan to win.
Erica: I love your enthusiasm.
Adam: Isn't that why you planned this "Win a Dance with Erica Kane" contest?
Erica: I hope you have deep pockets, Adam. You're going to need them. Excuse me. Well.
Erica: Dashing as usual.
Jackson: Thank you. And may I just say that nobody throws a party like you, or looks as gorgeous doing it.
Erica: Thank you. Does that mean you're going to bid on the dance?
Jackson: Well, you know, there's nothing I love more than a good cause.
Greenlee: Hey, you made it.
Jackson: Oh, look at you. You made it back in one piece. I'm glad.
Greenlee: Don't you have a rumba to practice?
Erica: As a matter of fact, yes, I do.
Greenlee: How can you still look at her like that? You know, she's trying to take over Fusion.
Jackson: Hey, you know what? I have a great idea. Let's talk about you, shall we? Like how are you? How's Aidan?
Greenlee: He's fine, actually. He's going to make a full recovery.
Jackson: Good. And how are you and Aidan?
Greenlee: I have to circulate.
Jackson: Hey, whoa, whoa. Listen, listen. I'm sorry. But you being with Ryan is not a good idea.
Greenlee: I'm not with anyone.
Jackson: Just listen to me. Annie is out there, right? She thinks you're the source of all her troubles. She's dangerous.
Greenlee: Then worry about Ryan.
Krystal: Wow, how do you manage to look so fabulous after putting in all those hours at the hospital?
Angie: Obviously, this is a very good friend of mine. Both of them are. You guys remember Natalia, Jesse's daughter? And this is Rebecca, her mother.
Jesse: All right. Get back to me, ok?
Greenlee: Please tell me you're here because Annie is sitting in a cell at the police station.
Jesse: I'm sorry, Greenlee, but no. Annie is still out there.
[Cell phone ringing]
Ryan: Annie, where are you?
Ryan: Where's here? Where is it? Let me help you, ok? Let me come and get you.
Annie: That's not how it works.
Ryan: What are you talking about?
Annie: You don't get to see me before, but I'm almost ready. Are you?
Ryan: For what?
Annie: Silly, you always make me laugh.
Ryan: Annie, where are you? Ok, just tell me where you are.
Annie: I will be there soon.
Annie: Our friends are probably already waiting for us.
Annie: Soon, my love. And this time, we're going to do it right.
Greenlee: How can Annie just disappear? How hard can it be to find a crazy woman?
Jesse: Look, her state of mind is going to work in our favor, all right? She's obsessing over Ryan, Emma, and you. She's bound to show herself. We'll nab her then. All right?
Greenlee: Why is that not reassuring?
[Cell phone ringing]
Jesse: I've got to take this.
Bianca: Hey, you having fun?
Greenlee: I'm sorry that I came on so strong before.
Bianca: It's ok. Listen, I understand that you and my mom don't mix. But she's turning that company around. So instead of slamming her, why don't you try working with her? You might actually learn something.
Greenlee: How naive are you? She came in here waving the proxy flag, playing good mother. This isn't about maternal instincts. It's a business move. She wants Fusion, and she won't stop until it's hers.
Krystal: You have a lovely daughter.
Rebecca: Oh, thank you. I think so, too.
Frankie: Big turnout. I wasn't expecting the whole family.
Angie: You know, I thought I saw your father around here. Do you know where he's disappeared to?
Frankie: No, we should go look for him. Excuse us. What are you doing?
Angie: Frankie, we agreed to accept Natalia and Rebecca into our family.
Frankie: You know, I think you're taking this family thing too far. I need a drink.
J.R.: The last time I was at Fusion I was with Babe. She was so happy, on top of the world.
Amanda: You didn't have to come tonight.
J.R.: I wanted to. It's important.
Krystal: I think I'll have a couple of those mojito-tinis. Thanks.
David: Living on the wild side, huh?
Krystal: Go away.
David: What's the matter, Krystal? Afraid Tad might see us? So you can slip into my house in the middle of the night for comfort, but you can't be seen with me in public?
Krystal: Why are you doing this?
David: I just want you to know that I'm available. Any time.
Krystal: Not here, not now. Not ever.
David: Or at least until the next time you can't sleep, and I'm the only one who knows what you need.
Taylor: Hey, look, a familiar face. P.V. Hospital let you out early?
Colby: Yeah, once in awhile they do.
Jake: Something -- something wrong?
Taylor: Colby, are you ok?
Erica: Zach. Oh, Zach, I wasn't sure you would even make it. Tell me Kendall's better, she's improving.
Zach: She's not worse.
Erica: All right. Then we're just going to have to pray harder, and we're going to have to focus on helping everybody who's here tonight, and we're going to do it in Kendall's honor.
Reese: Hi. So what did the doctor say --
Zach: Long day, long flight.
Jesse: I want you to cover this area, you know, exits and the patio. Don't blink.
Greenlee: What's going on? What are they doing here? What are you doing here?
Ryan: Annie called and she said she wanted to meet.
Ryan: She said our friends would all be waiting. I thought of this party.
Greenlee: Annie's coming here?
[Annie locks herself in the ladies' room]
Annie: Definitely beats the basement. Perfect. Something borrowed. Something blue. Something old. Something new.
[Annie pulls out a long, shiny knife and smiles wickedly]
Greenlee: We have to warn people.
Jesse: That could create a panic.
Ryan: Yeah, Annie doesn't even know what planet she's on right now, guys. She might not even show up here.
Greenlee: We're not that lucky.
Jesse: All right, listen. We're covered. Trust me. I'll be back.
Greenlee: I do not feel better. Where's Emma?
Ryan: She's -- she's safe. She's at her friend's house. She's sad. She's worried about her mom. I mean, Corrina's with her. Two very large cops. She's fine.
Greenlee: I thought the worst was over. I'm so sorry.
David: I'm going to tell you, Ryan, this is you all over. Partying down, having a grand old time while your lunatic ex-wife runs around town attacking innocent people.
Ryan: Back off, Hayward.
David: And you, Greenlee, what is it going to take for you to realize that this man is a loser?
Greenlee: Not now, David.
Frankie: They shouldn't be here.
Randi: What, you're ashamed of them? You barely said two words to Natalia. She's your sister, Frankie.
Frankie: I know that. I don't need to be reminded.
Randi: Why, because she's illegitimate? What, you think you're the heir to the throne, right? That you're better than her?
Frankie: Randi, chill, ok?
Randi: I'm illegitimate. I'm an ex-hooker, but maybe you should hide me, too. I mean, you don't want these nice people to finding out the truth about me.
Frankie: Listen, listen. You know how I feel about you. You're overreacting, ok?
Randi: And you are dissing your family. I've got to go.
Jake: Colby, you're acting a little bit odd.
Colby: Sorry, um, no sleep, low blood sugar. You look good.
Taylor: Thank you.
Colby: Are you happy?
Taylor: I have my moments. Why?
Colby: Just curious.
Taylor: What was that about?
Erica: Thank you all so much for joining us tonight and helping us make Pine Valley a better place tomorrow. I'd like to introduce you now to my co-sponsor, Mr. Zach Slater of Cambias Industries.
Zach: Hey, how you doing? Um, our town has taken a big hit. And you have, as always, answered with courage and determination. But there's a lot of work to be done. Schools and homes, office buildings have been damaged or destroyed. Families have been damaged, loved ones hurt or lost. So our job is not just to rebuild schools and homes, but to rebuild lives and families. And we will. And not just with money, but with our hearts. So this is a contribution from Cambias Industries. Thank you.
Erica: Oh, Zach. Zach, this is more than generous. Thank you so much, Zach. It is so wonderful to look out here and see so many friends and family and -- and neighbors working together to help each other. The tornados may have decimated our community, but it did not harm our spirit. We will rebuild, and we will thrive. We will be stronger, because of all of your donations this evening. You are going to help create the tomorrow that we all want for Pine Valley.
Erica: Well, Zach Slater has contributed a very, very generous check, and in addition to my donations, I would like to offer my legs. A dance to the highest bidder. And, gentlemen, this is your community, so be generous.
Jackson: A mere bag of shells. $10,000.
Erica: Thank you, Jack.
Erica: Oh, well, my goodness. Ok, then, it looks like Mr. Chandler --
Adam: You're not going to accept that bid. His check won't clear.
David: My money's as good as anyone else's, and in your case, even better.
Erica: And very much appreciated. So -- going, going, gone.
[David and Erica take to the dance floor while everyone looks on and applauds]
Reese: Zach? Hey, are you ok?
Zach: The doctor told me to bring Kendall back to Pine Valley, so she can die at home.
Reese: Oh, Zach, I'm so -- I'm so sorry. Erica -- Bianca -- do they know?
Zach: No, not tonight. There's too much hope.
Reese: I mean, is there nothing that the doctors can do?
Amanda: Doing ok?
J.R.: Uh, to tell you the truth, it's a lot easier with you here.
Adam: Ah, if you'll excuse me. May I?
David: Why don't you go back to your cage, Chandler? I haven't gotten my money's worth yet.
Erica: Well, it's -- it's going to be a long evening, so we will finish this later. Excuse me, I'm just going to go powder my nose.
Tad: I thought I was supposed to lead. Ok, what's going on?
Krystal: What do you mean?
Tad: Between you and Hayweird.
Krystal: Nothing. Come on, let's just enjoy the evening.
Tad: What? You're the one that, you know, gave me your word you'd try to stay away.
Krystal: I can't help it that he shows up at the same party.
Tad: No, I mean, you went and saw him again, didn't you?
Krystal: All right. I'm not supposed to see him, that's a big problem, I'll fix it right now. I'm out of here.
Tad: Oh, come on, Krystal.
Krystal: I'm going home.
Jesse: Good evening, ladies.
Angie: Oh, you're a busy man. So is something going on?
Jesse: Working this case -- it's pretty tough. I have to tell you, you ladies look amazingly beautiful tonight.
Natalia: How about a dance?
Jesse: Uh, ok, sure, sure.
Natalia: With my mom.
Rebecca: No. No, no, no, honey, I'm not up for all that.
Angie: Oh, come on. Why not? It'll be fun.
Jesse: You heard what your mother said. Maybe another time, all right? Angela, I need to speak to you, quickly. I didn't know you were bringing Rebecca.
Angie: It was Natalia's idea. I couldn't say no.
Jesse: Angela, don't you think you're pushing this whole big happy family a bit too far?
Angie: First Frankie and now you. Look, I am trying to make this work. I am trying to do right by you. Look, the last thing I need is all this flak from you and our son.
Jesse: Angela, I'm trying to do right by you, too. I mean, you're my wife, baby. I wanted to spend time with you tonight, dancing with you, not Rebecca. Look, this is hard enough for all of us, especially you. So stop pretending it is not. I love you, Angela. I have to get back to work. You look really sexy tonight, baby.
Jake: They're playing our song.
Taylor: This is our song?
Jake: Oh, yes. Well, it is tonight.
Taylor: All right, just try to keep up, stud. Wait, wait.
Jake: You amaze me.
Taylor: Hold me.
Jake: I've got you.
Greenlee: Oh, my God.
Annie: Hi. I knew you'd be here. Are you ready?
Ryan: Am I -- am I ready for what, Annie?
Annie: You know. Hey, stop -- why are they here? Ryan, make them stop.
Ryan: Ok, ok. Everybody's -- everybody's ok, everything's fine. Everything's all right.
Annie: It will be. And this time, no one will interfere with our wedding.
[Annie pulls out her bloody knife]
Greenlee: Oh, my God.
Zach: Don't be sad. I said I'd bring her home. I'm not going to let her die.
Ryan: Nobody wants to ruin your wedding, Annie.
Annie: Our wedding.
Ryan: Annie. Annie? Are you -- are you ok? Did you -- did you hurt yourself?
Annie: No. No, why would I hurt myself, silly? It's my wedding day. It's the happiest day of my life. Nobody's going to ruin it.
Ryan: That's right. That's right, Annie. Nobody wants to hurt you, ok? Nobody.
Annie: Because you'll protect me. You always protect me. [Hums "Here Comes the Bride"] I love you, Ryan, with all my heart. Everything I've done, I've done for you -- and for us, you know? So that we'd be a family again. And so -- and so you'd love me the way that you used to. I, Annie, take thee, Ryan, to be my lawfully-wedded husband, to have and to hold, 'til death do us part.
Ryan: Who did you hurt? Who? Who did you hurt with the knife, Annie?
[As Annie looks down at the bloody knife, Erica lies motionless on the floor of the ladies' room]
