Adam: Stand up. Slowly, slowly, with your hands above your head, or I will blow you to hell.
Pete: It's me, don't shoot.
Zach: Bianca and Reese are having a christening tomorrow for Gabrielle. And it's going to be a nice thing, but they wanted to wait for you to come home. But I told them that you would have thought that the best thing to do was to have the party now, and then have another one when you get back here.
Bianca: Tell her we love her.
Bianca: Hey. Reese told me that she overheard you recording things for the doctors to play for Kendall.
Zach: Yeah, every morning and every night.
Bianca: That's nice.
Zach: Why don't you say hello?
Bianca: Oh, yeah? Ok. Hey Kendall, it's Binks. Um, why don't you hurry home, ok? I miss you like crazy. There are so many things I want to talk to you about. And you've got a little baby niece you've got to meet. I love you so much. That's it. Hey, look what we did.
Zach: What you did.
Bianca: Do you remember that night in Marseille? I know it's a night I'll never forget.
Greenlee: What -- what is it? What is it? What do you want to say to me?
Aidan: The night of the tornados, that's when it started. You and Ryan at the casino -- I found you both there.
Greenlee: I know. I know I hurt you, and I never meant to. I am so, so, so sorry.
Aidan: I --
Greenlee: What? What are you trying to say? What are you trying to say?
Aidan: I was the one --
[Heart monitor alert beeping]
Greenlee: Aidan. Aidan! Help!
Annie: Ryan, Emma! We have to help them.
Jesse: I can't let you go in there. You cannot go in there.
Pete: Please don't shoot me.
Adam: Tell me why you're here.
Adam: Oh, well, what a shock.
Pete: She's not answering her cell phone. She's not up in her room.
Adam: You were in her bedroom?
Pete: Yeah, sorry. Scared now.
Adam: Yeah, you should be. So she's not in her room, she's not answering her phone. Why are you dressed up like that?
Pete: Well, I was kind of doing what you said.
Adam: What I said?
Pete: Yeah, you were telling me you wear down women by force of will, so -- you know, that kind of thing. I got dressed up, and I went to the hospital, and I said over the P.A. system that I loved her.
Adam: Oh my -- oh, you didn't.
Pete: She didn't hear. And when I told her about it, she wasn't so happy.
Adam: Yeah, well that explains it.
Pete: Explains what?
Adam: Where she is.
Pete: It does?
Adam: Yeah, of course, it does, you Muppet. She's hiding from you.
Colby: Ok, I think we can make it out without being seen. I'll distract Frankie. Meet you outside, ok?
Mrs. Monroe: Dr. Hubbard? I don't know if you remember me, but you came to visit me with Lieutenant Thompson.
Frankie: Yes, of course, I remember you. You're Brot's mother.
Taylor: Dance with me again.
Mrs. Monroe: It took me a bit to track you down.
Frankie: Yeah, so you know about Brot?
Reese: Thank you. I couldn't sleep either. It's a big day for our little girl tomorrow.
Bianca: Yeah, it sure is. Oh, God, I've got to iron her christening gown.
Reese: No, you don't. I did it.
Bianca: Thank you.
Reese: Yeah. God, you know, sometimes I still can't believe she's here. Everything turned out exactly the way that you said it would. We have our little girl.
Bianca: Yeah. Thanks to you, Zach.
Zach: What? I didn't do anything. I just was on a three-day business trip to Paris, that's all.
Reese: Oh yeah, and we lured you into our lair.
Bianca: We didn't lure him into our lair. We invited him to our favorite getaway spot, and we didn't do it with this in mind.
Reese: Yeah, it was the magic of Marseille. Oh, that local wine.
Reese: Honi soi --
Zach: Honi soi.
Reese: Qui mal y pense.
Zach: Qui mal y pense.
Bianca: Oh, great.
Zach: Hey, what does it mean?
Reese: It means, shame upon him who thinks evil upon it.
Zach: Uh, ok.
Reese: No? Ok, ok. Here you go. So, the story goes that the Countess of Salisbury was dancing with King Edward III and her garter slipped off her leg.
Zach: That's hot. Scandalous.
Reese: It was scandalous. Oh, there were snickers from the crowd, lewd comments. And so the king, he went over and he picked up the garter, and he tied it on his own leg. And he glared at the crowd, and he declared --
Zach: Shame upon him who thinks evil upon it.
Reese: Honi sont qui mal y pense. Isn't that romantic?
Bianca: It's nice.
Zach: Yeah, very. Could we have another one of these, please?
Bianca: Isn't it amazing that we can just drink bottles and bottles of that stuff and just never seem to get drunk?
Reese: Keep on drinking, honey.
Bianca: Ok, maybe a little bit.
Bianca: See, Zach, this is what we call joie de vivre.
Reese: Ah, joie de vivre.
Bianca: It means joy of living.
Zach: I know what it means.
Bianca: And we've got it in spades, don't we? Just like you and Kendall. Should we tell him?
Bianca: Reese and I have decided that we want to have another baby.
Zach: Cool, congratulations.
Bianca: Thank you. Wait, will you be our donor? I swear, the idea just came to me in that moment.
Zach: Just came to you, huh? And then I nearly choked on that local wine that they were serving.
Bianca: Well, before you turned us down.
Zach: Yeah, and I think you understood why.
Reese: Yeah, of course, we did.
Bianca: Well, we were disappointed. And I was toasted. So I went up to bed and then that's when you talked him into it.
Reese: Mmm -- uh --
Ryan: Emma? Emma! Emma!
Greenlee: What's happening? What's wrong?
Jake: His pressure's dropping. All right, you don't have a cordis line? Are you sure? All right, let's get some blood in him. You got O negative? I'll take all the O negative that you've got. And if you don't have that, I'll take albumin. You do have albumin, right? We've got to get his pressure up.
Jake: We've got to work quickly. Otherwise when he wakes up, he won't be able to say his own name, if he wakes up at all. We need to get him into the O.R. now, ok? Now, now. Let's go.
Annie: Oh, my God! Baby, please be ok. Please be ok. Please be ok. Please be ok.
Ryan: Oh, my God, it's ok. Thank God, you're ok. You're ok. Daddy's here. I love you so much.
Colby: That's your mom? And she doesn't know?
Mrs. Monroe: What about Brot?
Frankie: His friend, Taylor -- our friend, Taylor. The woman who came with me to visit you? She's injured. She's here in the hospital.
Mrs. Monroe: Yes, I know about her. She's who I've been looking for.
Frankie: You have?
Mrs. Monroe: Yes. I finally tracked her down with the help of the Army. They told me she'd been in an accident. Please, can you take me to her? May I see her?
Colby: She thinks you're dead, too? But she's your --
Brot: It stays that way. It's better that way. When the coast is clear, we're gone.
Jake's voice: Hey, it's Jake. I can't get to the phone, so leave a message.
Taylor: Hey, Jake. It's Taylor. Um, I really, really hope everything's ok down there. Just call me if you need to. Ok, bye.
Frankie: Feeling up for a visitor?
Taylor: A visitor? Who?
Mrs. Monroe: I hope I'm not disturbing you.
Taylor: Oh, Mrs. Monroe. No, not at all.
Mrs. Monroe: I'm so sorry for what you're going through.
Taylor: Thank you. But really, I think I'll be all right.
Mrs. Monroe: I certainly didn't mean to add to your pain.
Taylor: Excuse me?
Mrs. Monroe: For what happened when you came to visit me. I need to apologize.
Taylor: What for?
Mrs. Monroe: For lying to you about Brot.
Ryan: You're going to be ok. You're going to be ok. And Mommy and Daddy are going to stay with you the entire time. All the way to the doctor's, ok?
Annie: Yes, Mommy is never going to leave your side, ok?
Ryan: I love you so much.
Annie: I know.
Fireman: Excuse me, sir.
Jesse: Hell of a save there, kid. We need to talk.
Ryan: Later, Jesse.
Jesse: Ryan, Ryan. I know damned well you're seeing what I'm seeing. This whole kidnap thing is a setup. Annie's a part of it.
Ryan: Not now, Jesse. I've got to go to the hospital. I've got to make sure Emma's ok. I've got to check in on Aidan. Later, ok?
Annie: Ryan, thank you. Thank you for saving our daughter's life.
Ryan: She's going to be all right. She's going to be ok. She's going to be ok.
Taylor: I'm not sure I understand.
Mrs. Monroe: When you and Dr. Hubbard came to visit me, I knew who you were. I knew you were Brot's fiancée. I knew how much you cared about him.
Taylor: Why didn't you say so?
Mrs. Monroe: Because I was afraid. I had made a spiritual connection with him. And if I acknowledged you, I was afraid I'd lose him again. You would take our connection. It doesn't make sense. I was selfish. I'm so sorry for doing that to you.
Taylor: I think I understand. What did he -- did he say anything about me? Did he say anything about us?
Mrs. Monroe: So much. I saved all his letters, the e-mails, photographs. He was so happy, so positive about the future with you. Because of you. Thank you for making him so happy before he died. Thank you for loving my boy so much.
Colby: Everything's great, Dad. Just another boring day at the hospital. Yeah, yeah, I'll see you tomorrow.
Adam: All right, I won't wait up for you then. Yeah, yes. Careful. Good night. Well, Colby had no problem picking up my call. Hmm. She's on her way to a friend's house to study for an exam. So no disaster, just avoiding you.
Pete: I can't believe it. She really doesn't care about me. I can't believe it's over,
Adam: Would you get her out of your mind? Concentrate on your work instead.
Pete: What work?
Adam: Fusion. They still need you there.
Pete: How does me going back to Fusion help anything?
Adam: Because I'm not done with it yet. I want you to keep an eye on Erica Kane.
Pete: What am I supposed to be looking for?
Adam: Well if I knew that, I wouldn't need you, now would I? I want some dirt. I want something they can use for ammunition. Now get out of here, and keep your eyes open.
Pete: There is one way that I would consider spending more time at Fusion. If you'd convince Erica to take on Colby as an intern as well.
Adam: Could you keep your mind out of your pants? Especially since we're talking about my daughter?
Pete: It's not my pants you need to worry about. I think Colby has found someone at the hospital that she has some infatuation with.
Adam: With whom?
Pete: I don't know. It's a gut feeling, that's all.
Adam: Well, maybe you're just having another wild imagination. Or maybe you're just upset because she knows you're a doofus.
Pete: Hey, I'm your brilliant, creative, fearless sidekick. I'm just saying I would do my job better if Colby were around more often.
Adam: Oh, now I know why some species eat their young. I will see about Colby, all right? Now you get out. I'm going to bed.
Pete: Nighty-night, C-man.
[Pete re-enters the house after Adam goes upstairs]
Reese: Oh, no, no, no, no. I did not talk him into it. Zach did it for you, Bianca, because he loves you.
Zach: And because you wanted to help.
Bianca: And you did, obviously.
Zach: Well, you did all the hard part. I mean, the pregnancy and the delivery. I just went to the local clinic and did a little --
Reese: Oh, ok. Come on, come on. It was a lot more than that. And we wanted to ask you something.
Bianca: Yeah, I couldn't decide whether to postpone the christening for Kendall. And one of the reasons that I couldn't decide is because we would really like for you and Kendall to be the baby's godparents.
Zach: I would be honored, yes. And so will Kendall, when she comes home. She'll be honored, too. And she'll be home very soon, then we'll, um --
Bianca: All right, I'm tired.
Reese: Ok, you go to bed. All right, I've got the first two feedings. Is the milk in the fridge?
Bianca: Yeah, it is. Thank you. Good night, Zach.
Zach: Good night.
Reese: Well, you are exactly the same way right now you were that night. Lost in thought, a million miles away. Are you thinking about your son?
Zach: Yeah, it's the first time I've been away since he was born.
Reese: He must be so small.
Zach: No, he's getting bigger all the time. He's good. He was small when he was born. And then, I remember, I went in there and they told me to be very still, be very quiet, and they put him on my chest. And I could feel his heart beating. And I've never felt that kind of love for anything in my life. And I'm upsetting you. I'm sorry.
Reese: No, no. You know, I just -- I want to feel our baby's heartbeat. And I want to feel that kind of love so badly with Bianca. Do you remember how we talked until dawn about everything we could think of? And then we were still sitting there when Bianca came back down, and you ordered a champagne and offered us a toast to our future child. You gave us our own strong, beating little heart. And I will always be grateful to you for that.
Ryan: All right.
Greenlee: Is she ok?
Ryan: Yeah, we think so. A little smoke inhalation, but, you know, she's conscious.
Greenlee: Where was she?
Ryan: Di had her locked in an old church, and somehow it caught fire. And we got there -- we got there just in time.
Greenlee: Oh, thank God.
Police Chief: Arrest her.
Annie: No, no, please! That's my daughter in there. Please let me stay. Ow!
Ryan: Hands off my wife!
Jesse: All right, wait a minute, wait a minute! Ryan, Ryan. All right. This is their little girl. They are understandably concerned about leaving her. Can I talk to you for a minute alone?
Police Chief: Keep your eyes on both of them.
Doctor: Let's get her hooked up to some oxygen.
Annie: Can I -- please, please let me go with her. Please. Thank you.
Ryan: How -- how's Aidan?
Greenlee: Bad. Jake has him in surgery right now, but if they don't get the bullet out --
Ryan: Oh, God.
Greenlee: Before Aidan went out, he -- he was trying to tell me something.
Ryan: About what?
Greenlee: I don't know. I'm not sure. He -- he said something about the tornado. Something about finding us together. But then he passed out before he could say anything else. What do you think he was trying to tell me?
Ryan: That was -- that was the day that Emma was kidnapped.
Greenlee: I know.
Ryan: So I called Aidan, and -- and when -- when I told him that I thought that maybe Annie was involved in the kidnap, you were there.
Greenlee: Yeah. He -- he said that's what you said.
Ryan: Right. Well, he didn't sound surprised on the phone. How did he act when I told him?
Greenlee: Concerned, but not shocked like I was. You know, he tried to call her. He said he wanted to try and trick her into admitting it, but her cell phone was at the house with us. Do you think he knew all along that she was behind this whole thing?
Greenlee: And that's what he was trying to tell me?
Ryan: I don't know. But I do know that Jesse is suspicious of Annie being involved, just like we are.
Greenlee: Then why isn't he arresting her?
Ryan: Because he has no evidence.
Greenlee: What's going on?
Jake: It's -- it's, uh -- it doesn't look good.
Zach: Yeah, I'm just glad everything worked out. And as far as that night goes, I'm not sure what I agreed to. I had a couple of drinks in me, with the wine and --
Reese: Oh, my -- no, wait. You know, you are such a guy. You're playing down life's emotional moments. You know what? Big moment like that one -- it was not the wine. You did it for Bianca, because you love her. And, uh, I'm the lucky one who gets to share in the joy.
Reese: And the joy is hungry. I'll get the bottle. You want to --
Reese: Grab Miss Joy?
Zach: Hello there, beautiful. Oh, my goodness. Come here. What do you think? You know what? You're very lucky. You got two amazing women. You have them in your life, they're both going to be your mommy. There's so much love around you, you won't even know what to do with it. You won't even know.
Frankie: What are you thinking?
Taylor: I'm thinking, I understand how she felt -- being so empty. I tried to fill that emptiness, you know, by getting back to Iraq. Got to get back to Iraq. Got to go. And then this happened, and -- and I just went so low, so much lower than I thought I could go. I felt like I could see no hope at all anymore.
Frankie: Well, you came back.
Taylor: Because of Jake. Because he got in my face. Because he -- he dared me to move forward. And then, you know, the weirdest thing happened. Once I was on the other side, once I could -- I could believe that I would recover, I felt him -- Brot. Like Mrs. Monroe said, I could feel him. I feel him all the time now. Do you remember that movie? That movie, "Ghost"? It's like that. It's like -- it's like he's so close I could touch him. I dream about him -- not nightmares, like I used to, but sweet dreams, you know? And all the good feelings are still there.
Frankie: What about Jake? How do you feel about him?
Taylor: I feel good. Very good.
Frankie: Do you love him?
Taylor: Maybe. I don't know. Maybe. But Brot -- Brot is here. He will always be here. Frankie, what is it? I know you. What's wrong?
Brot: Man, this is a freaking palace.
Colby: It's home.
Pete: Well, well.
Colby: What the hell are you doing here?
Pete: So that's your new guy, huh? Brought him home?
Colby: Get out of here now.
Pete: Not until I meet my competition.
Colby: Your what?
Pete: All right, buster, time to introduce myself.
Frankie: It's just all this talk about Brot got me thinking about the good times. We had a lot of them.
Taylor: Yes, we did.
Frankie: So, uh, Jake will be up soon. You'll be on your feet in no time, kickboxing. We got a lot to look forward to.
Taylor: What are you dancing around? What -- what aren't you saying to me?
Frankie: Just think about the future, ok? That's it. Keep the past where it belongs.
Taylor: Are you saying forget Brot?
Frankie: No. No, don't forget him. Just remember him, but don't let him keep you from moving forward.
Frankie: I got to hit the salt mines.
Brot: Who are you?
Colby: Stop staring.
Pete: I'm Pete. What are you doing with this guy?
Colby: Just shut up and get out of here.
Brot: I think I'm the one who needs to get out of here. I don't want to be around people.
Colby: I know where to take you, where you can stay. I promise you'll like it.
Pete: What's going on here?
Colby: Just get off the property. Now.
Jake: I can't get to the bullet. It's lodged up on the aorta. I -- I'm working blind here. I've got no MRI equipment, I've got no back-up system, no pump tech. I don't have a heart surgeon in case something goes terribly wrong. So I needed to close him up and get him ready for emergency transport, get him back to Pine Valley Hospital if he's got any chance, any chance of survival.
Annie: Emma's breathing much better. Thank God. What is it? Is it Aidan?
Ryan: Yeah. We -- we have to get him home in order to get the bullet out. He's, um -- he's critical.
Annie: He deliberately took that bullet. It was meant for you.
Ryan: He's been through a lot tougher than this. He's going to be ok.
Greenlee: They're not going to let you come home, are they?
Ryan: I don't know.
Jesse: All right, I have explained to Chief Lopez that the two of you are material witnesses in my kidnap investigation back home. We've also decided that the charges in Di Henry's death will be a part of that investigation. So he's going to extradite the two of you back to the States in my custody. And, um, by the way, you just donated ten grand to the local Police Protective Fund.
Annie: So -- so, we can go home?
Jesse: Yeah, let's go home.
Ryan: Hey, Aidan's going to make it.
Greenlee: What about Annie? If she walks free after everything she's done --
Ryan: Listen to me. Annie is not going to walk. She is not going to get away with what she's done. Hey, my princess! Oh, look at you. You look so good. You look good, and all the scary stuff is over, ok? All the scary stuff is over. Now Mommy and Daddy are going to take you home, ok?
Colby: What are you still doing here?
Pete: I want to know who he is.
Colby: Just a guy I'm helping out. I met him at the hospital.
Pete: What happened to him?
Colby: He was burned.
Pete: I saw the way you looked at him. What's going on between you two?
Colby: Don't be an idiot. Go home, Pete.
Pete: I want to know.
Colby: Just leave me alone. Go. Get out!
Reese: Oh, we have company.
Bianca: Yeah. Miranda couldn't sleep, so she decided to be a snuggle bug.
Reese: Do we have room for two more?
Bianca: Oh, of course, we do. How is she?
Reese: She's wonderful. She's all fed, and burped, and changed. By the way, I am so in love.
Zach (talking to Ian): Yeah, I get it. All those women in the house -- that's probably what woke you up. Or maybe you're just missing one woman in particular. I know I am.
Singer: There's a place between awake and sleep and though I know it's only make-believe, when I close my eyes I see you there. When winter trees are still bright green and sunlight comes shining through the leaves and the magic of it fills the air I'll reach for you after time and feel you put your hand in mine again. Don't let go I still need you. I need to know you'll be where my heart can see you. The world moves on and dark turns to dawn. Memories fade but the love stays strong, and you know I'm begging for you still. Don't let go, I still need you. I need to know you'll be where my heart can see you. And dream you're here
