Officer: Was anybody in there when the tornado hit? If not, we need to go, now. Funnel clouds are still touching down and the siren system's been malfunctioning.

Aidan: I'm not leaving, not without my wife.

Frankie: Red tags to the right, yellow tags to the left, green tags in the waiting area. We'll get with you when we can.

Tad: What about a black tag?

Frankie: Morgue overflow. She's waiting for pickup. D.O.A. There's nothing more we can do.

EMT: Need a doctor over here, Doctor? Need a doc. Doc, 27-year-old male, unconscious, G.C.S. is six, B.P. is 60 by palp, pulse is weak and thready at 160.

Second EMT: He's got two large bores wide open, bruises over the entire abdomen area.

Frankie: All right, belly's rigid, get him get him two packs of cells, I --

Tad: Hey, hey, uh, excuse me, just for sec. Officer, do you -- do you have any idea how bad the damage is out there?

Officer: Some neighborhoods, entire blocks are gone and others, it's just a few trees down.

Tad: Ok, what about route 29, you know the -- The Comeback bar? Did it make it through ok?

Officer: Haven't been out that way.

Tad: Could you, um, do me a favor? Would you just, please, call it in, maybe send somebody by? And I got a -- a baby girl and my mother, they're stuck over on Hillcrest?

Officer: Sorry, the chief suspended all patrols until the storm passes.

Tad: Till the storm passes?

Officer: Yeah. Hey, you -- you can't go out there.

Tad: Whoa, whoa, whoa. Hey, hey, hey, take it easy, all right? I don't recall asking for permission.

Officer: The chief made it very clear, no one is allowed out on the streets.

Tad: Your chief is a close, personal friend of mine. I'm sure he would not mind making an exception in my case. Excuse me.

Officer: Hey, hey, hey.

Tad: Hey. What the hell is this? Oh, come on, come on, what -- what -- what is this for?

[The officer cuffs Tad to a stretcher]

Officer: The chief has enough to worry about without one of his close, personal friends trying to play hero.

Jesse: One, two --

Angie: No! No.

J.R.: I'm barely touching her.

Angie: Only thing keeping her from bleeding out is the pressure from that beam. You move it, she'll die.

J.R.: What?

Angie: That's right, we need to wait until I can get her stabilized.

Babe: How long?

Angie: I need someone to clamp the artery, and then we'll go from there.

Jesse: What if the boy can't wait that long?

Krystal: Oh, he doesn't look like he's breathing.

Babe: Save my son, please!

Jesse: Babe --

Babe: No, don't worry about me, do something to save my son!

[Babe cries]

Jesse: Hey, hang on, hang in there. We got some help coming. Help is on the way, ok?

[Natalia coughs]

Jesse: All right, I know, I know. Just hold on, just hold on.

Natalia: It hurts.

Jesse: I know, I know, but just -- just be strong. Can you do that for me? All right?

Babe: Please, don't -- don't worry about me, ok? Please, please, you got to help my baby.

Krystal: How is he?

Angie: He has a pulse. It's weak, but it's there.

Babe: Save Little Adam, please. Please, just do whatever it takes to get him out, Angie, please.

J.R.: Babe, Babe, listen to me, listen to me. If we lift that beam, you might bleed to death.

Babe: And if we don't, we could lose our son, J.R.

[Babe cries]

Adam: Are you prepared to die?

Erica: Do I have a choice? I don't see you making any valiant attempts to save my life.

Adam: Well, short of a bulldozer or a stick of dynamite, I don't really see I have any choice but to sit here quietly and try to conserve whatever oxygen we have left. I think you would be wise to do the same. I said sit, not strike a pose.

Erica: Well, if I'm going to die down here, at least I want to look presentable when they find my body.

Adam: Oh, vanity, thy name is Erica. I promise, I'll have the paparazzi shoot you first.

Zach: Don't be scared. I'll be right back. I'm going to look for your mom. I'm going to go find your mom. Kendall? Kendall! Come on. I'm coming.

[Zach grunts]

Zach: Bianca. Hey.

[Bianca coughs]

Zach: Ok, all right. Ok, go ahead.

Bianca: The boys.

Zach: The boys are good. They're fine, under the table. Where's Kendall?

Bianca: She was over by the fireplace when the windows blew in.

Zach: Come here. Can you stand?

Bianca: I think so.

Zach: Come on.

Bianca: Ah, careful, the baby.

Aidan: Greenlee? Can you hear me?

Officer: Sir, there's a possibility that your wife might not have --

Aidan: Listen, she's not dead. You hear me? She can't be. Greenlee. Greenlee.

Greenlee: Ugh.

Aidan: Greenlee.

Greenlee: Aidan.

Aidan: Come here, baby.

Greenlee: I can't.

Aidan: I got you.

Greenlee: Oh.

Aidan: It's ok. Listen, I'm here.

Greenlee: Where's Ryan?

Officer: Was he in there when the tornado hit?

Greenlee: Yeah. Yeah, you have to find him. Please, please, he saved my life.

[No dial tone]

Annie: I hope someone's taking care of my little girl.

J.R.: Don't you do this to me. Don't you ask me to choose.

Babe: There is no choice. Little Adam is our son. He needs his parents to always keep him safe. Mama, please tell him. You have to make him understand.

Krystal: Any mama would lay down her life in a second if it meant saving her kids, but your mama's not ready to say goodbye to her baby.

Babe: Good, because I'm not planning on leaving any time soon. I'm going to fight with everything I have to get through this for my baby.

Angie: Babe, what I really need here is a full O.R. You have to understand this.

Babe: I understand what I'm doing. Look, we're wasting time. Please, please, J.R. You have to do this for me. Do this for me.

J.R.: We're going to save you both. Where is that first-aid kit?

Krystal: Under the bar.

Jesse: I'll get it. I'll get it.

Angie: It's going to take a lot more than bandages to keep her from bleeding out. I need clamps, sutures, something to clean the wound.

Krystal: Maybe I have something in the kitchen that'll work.

[Babe groans]

Babe: Don't look so worried. You're doing the right thing.

J.R.: How can you be sure?

Babe: Little Adam is our whole world. I -- I -- I couldn't go on without him and neither could you. You know that.

J.R.: What makes you think I could go on without you?

Babe: I am -- I'm going to make it through this. I have too much to live for to give up now.

Zach: I can't find her. Why didn't you hide under something?

Bianca: It was my fault. She was worried that I wouldn't be safe enough crouched down on the floor, so she went to get something to protect me and the baby. God, I tried to stop her but that's when it hit. It shook the whole house. The windows caved in. The walls came down. If Kendall hadn't been there to help us, I don't think the baby and I would have survived.

[Ian cries]

Bianca: It's ok, buddy. It's ok. Oh, you're all right.

Zach: I see her.

[Zach grunts as he lifts a wallboard]

Zach: Hey, Kendall.

Bianca: Is she ok?

[Zach grunts]

[Zach pants]

Zach: I can't feel a pulse. Hey, don't you leave me. You stay right here.

Bianca: Stay here with your brother, all right? Everything's going to be ok.

Zach: 28, 29 -- come on, you got to wake up for me. Just wake up, please.

Bianca: How is she?

Zach: It's her head. She won't wake up.

Bianca: Here, here. How bad is it?

Zach: She's losing a lot of blood.

Bianca: Keep pressure on it, and I'll see if I can find something else. Wait, wait, there's someone coming. Hey, hey, over here! We need help. We need help over here.

Officer: Are you ok?

Bianca: No -- uh --

Officer: How -- how far along are you?

Bianca: I'm fine. The baby's fine. It's my sister. She needs to get to a hospital.

Officer: A tree took out my squad car about a mile back. We'll have to wait for EMTs. Bryant to Central.

Dispatcher: Go for Central.

Ofc. Bryant: I need an ambulance at Beach Post Road. I need immediate Evac for multiple vics.

Zach: Hurry up, she needs a doctor.

Ofc. Bryant: One with severe head trauma. Central, do you copy?

Dispatcher: Copy that. EMTs en route.

Zach: Don't you give up on me. You stay right here, ok? You stay right here.

Erica: Adam.

Adam: Uh. Can't you let a man die in peace?

Erica: Oh, you're too mean to die.

Adam: I'm not the only one drawing breath here.

Erica: Well, I refuse to sit here in silence and wait to suffocate.

Adam: Oh, really. What do you suggest?

Erica: The truth.

Adam: Excuse me?

Erica: Yeah. If this is really the end, you shouldn't have any problem being honest.

Adam: About what?

Erica: About your feelings. Admit it, you're still in love with me, aren't you?

[Adam chuckles]

Aidan: Hey, bring the light over here.

Greenlee: Ryan, Ryan, Ryan? Ryan, are you ok?

[Ryan grunts]

Aidan: You're pinned under a slab of concrete and a big metal beam.

Ryan: Ah. Wh --

Aidan: You're going to be ok.

Ryan: And where am I? When are you -- when did you get here?

Aidan: Right before the tornado hit. You go for help.

[Ryan grunts]

Aidan: I'll try and take this guy out.

Officer: I got room for one more in the A.T.V.

Ryan: Then Greenlee, go. Go with him.

Greenlee: No, it'll be faster if I help and dig.

Ryan: No, with your arm? Please, go.

Greenlee: I'm fine. I'm staying.

Officer: I'll go pick up my truck, and I'll come back for the rest of you.

Ryan: Uh, ok.

Aidan: Listen, I'm going to try and get this off of you.

Ryan: Just lift it up.

[Ryan groans]

Ryan: What do --

Opal: Tad.

Tad: Mama, you just got over a heart attack. What the hell are you doing out of bed?

Opal: Well, a better question, what the hell are you doing cuffed to one?

Tad: Oh, I tried to lend a hand, and Pine Valley's finest did this to me, pinned it right behind my back. Apparently, the authorities don't like you trying to mount your own private search and rescue mission.

Opal: Well, Ruth got word to the hospital. She and Jenny are safe, thank the Lord.

Tad: Thank God for that.

Opal: They've been in that basement shelter that you and Joe had put in after the last tornado.

Tad: What are you trying to do?

Opal: Well, I'm trying to get you free, what do you think, before the rest of my visions come true -- the Carey women crying out for help?

J.R.: All right, we got this all figured out, ok? It's going to work. You and Little Adam, you're going to be just fine.

Krystal: Yeah. Angie just didn't realize how resourceful we Carey women are.

Babe: Uh, like -- like making French toast with a flatiron.

Krystal: Exactly.

Angie: Are we ready?

Angie: Now.

[J.R. grunts]

Babe: Oh.

Krystal: All right? All right, we got him, we got him.

Babe: Oh, oh, oh. Is he -- is Little A all right? Please, is he ok?

J.R.: Yeah, yeah, I think he's going to be just fine. He's going to be fine.

Krystal: And so are you. You hang in there, Babe. Your little boy needs you.

Jesse: Damn it. Transmitter's busted. I can't get a signal out, which means we won't be able to get any help in here.

Annie: The tornado touched down a while ago. I'm sure an ambulance is on its way, but please, Jesse, someone has to find my daughter.

Angie: Ok, keep pressing down as hard as you can in case it doesn't hold. Babe?

J.R.: She finally passed out from the pain.

Angie: It's probably for the best. I need her to hold completely still while I try to sort this artery. All right, keep pressing down, harder, harder.

Krystal: Ok, ok, ok. You don't think it's going to work.

Angie: At the rate she's losing blood -- come on, press, press down harder.

Aidan: Two, three --

[Ryan grunts]

Ryan: Ok, ok, ah, ok. Oh, oh, ok.

Greenlee: Is anything broken?

[Ryan grunts]

Greenlee: You ok?

Ryan: I think it's ok. I think it's ok. I think I'm just going to put some weight on it.

Aidan: Listen, just take it easy, all right?

Ryan: Ah! No, I'm fine.

Aidan: You're not going anywhere till the truck gets back.

Greenlee: He's right, he's right -- sit down, sit down. We got to wait for the guard to come back.

[Ryan groans]

Ryan: Aidan, thank you.

Greenlee: I don't know what we would have done without you.

Aidan: You don't need me, Greenlee. If you did, you wouldn't be up here with him.

Greenlee: I didn't plan for any of this to happen.

Aidan: Yeah, I don't need to hear it.

Ryan: Maybe you should.

Erica: Well, if you're not in love with me then you've been playing me.

Adam: Just following your lead.

Erica: Oh, what's that supposed to mean?

[Adam chuckles]

Adam: Don't play coy with me. I know Kendall put you up to this. She asked you to get close, gain my trust, come back with information.

Erica: Now, Adam, when have you ever known me to do my daughter's bidding? And besides, if I were trying to seduce you, you would know, and you would love it, and I'd have my own reasons.

Adam: And what might that be?

Zach: You promised me 48 hours, just you, me, and the kids, laughing, living. 48 hours, I'm going to have to hold you to that, ok? So, all I need you to do is open your eyes. Where the hell have you been?

EMT: With the storm, there's only a couple of crews doing runs. We had to pick up another patient on the way. He's working on him on the back. How long did it take since she's been unconscious?

Zach: I don't know.

EMT: Did you get her breathing?

Zach: Yes, it took about, I don't know, three, four minutes.

EMT: Ok, let's get her on this board. I'll get her neck. Officer, you stabilize her back. As we roll her, you got to slide the board under her, ok? On my count. One, two, three, and back.

Ofc. Bryant: Any contractions?

Bianca: No, I -- the baby isn't due for another month and a half.

EMT: Glad to hear it. We only have room for one more patient in the back.

Zach: No, you got to take my boys. I don't want them here when another storm's coming through.

EMT: All right, uh, we'll make some room in the front, then.

Zach: Ok, be careful. Step back. Watch where you're stepping. You'll be ok.

[Ian cries]

Zach: Hey, come here. Oh, boy, ok. Guess what? You and your brother are going to go for a ride in the ambulance. Come here, just like the one you have at home only a little shinier. Hey, Spikey, you take care of your brother, ok? Ok, come on, here we go.

Bianca: You're going to be ok.

Zach: They have to be. I'll be right back.

Angie: All right, this should hold for now, but she really needs to be in a hospital. She's got massive internal bleeding. Her body's already shutting down. And I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to do anything else.

Randi: Whoa, where are you going?

Annie: I'm going to get help.

Jesse: Wait, wait, I'll go, all right? You stay here with the kids.

Annie: No, they're fine. Emma's not. Someone grabbed her from the movie theater, and she hasn't been seen since.

Jesse: Annie, we're going to find your baby.

Annie: When?

Jesse: As soon as we can. First, right now, we got to get these people to the hospital, ok? All right, you just stay here.

Angie: All right, sweetheart, you're breathing better but you belong in a hospital, too.

Jesse: Baby, I'm going to go for some help.

Angie: You're sure the ambulance isn't on its way already?

Jesse: Well, if it is, it's taking its damn time and that's something Babe doesn't have a lot of.

Angie: Honey, please be careful.

Jesse: Oh, you know I will. You, too, all right? You stay strong. I love you.

Jesse: I'll be back.

J.R.: Angie? I think there's something wrong.

Krystal: Is she supposed to be this pale?

Angie: Babe? Come on. Come on, honey, stay with us.

Babe: Where's Little Adam?

J.R.: He's fine.

Babe: I want to see him. I -- I need to say goodbye.

Ofc. Bryant: I'm going to check out the houses down the street, see if anyone else needs help.

Zach: If you hear anything from the hospital, you let me know. All right?

Ofc. Bryant: I'll come back.

[Zach sighs]

Zach: You know how to make an entrance, I'll give you that. Pregnant, huh? Why didn't you say anything?

Bianca: I just -- I wanted to make sure that everything was ok with the pregnancy before we told anyone.

Zach: Not even me. Don't you think the baby's father has a right to know?

Erica: Oh, this is absurd. I am not trying to seduce you.

Adam: We have already established by your own admission that you're not spending time with me for Kendall's benefit. So, it must be for your benefit. Now, what are you going to do? You want to make Jack jealous? Is that it or are you -- you afraid you'll miss having a man in your life -- a cunning, strong, capable man? What is it that attracted you most? Was it my wealth? Was it my business acumen? Was it my charms that you found so irresistible?

Erica: No, you were right the first time. All that interests me is your plans for Fusion.

Adam: I have no plans.

Erica: Don't bother denying it. I know you've been up to something.

Adam: I've -- I enjoy your company when you're not running off at the mouth stealing my air.

Erica: Well, you know what? Why prolong the inevitable? Frankly, I'd rather die now than suffer another minute --

Adam: Nobody's going to die. Nobody's dying until I get an answer to this question.

Erica: Well, all right, then. Go ahead. I have nothing left to hide.

Adam: Well, I know -- I know that you -- there's been some sort of arrangement between you and Kendall, but something has gone wrong in the process. It's changed. It's -- different. Erica, you're falling for me, aren't you?

[Erica gasps]

Erica: Now who's delusional?

Adam: Yeah? I could tell. I could feel it when we kissed.

Erica: The only thing you're feeling is lightheaded.

Adam: Hmm. Answer the question.

Erica: You know something? I really think that we need to stop talking because you obviously need the air.

[Adam chuckles]

J.R.: Careful, buddy. Your mama's not feeling well.

Babe: I'm better now that you're here. Do you know how much I love you? You do. I'm never going to stop. I'm always going to be with you. I'm going to be with you right here in your heart, ok?

[Ryan grunts]

Greenlee: Ryan, now is not the time to get into any of this.

Ryan: Ok. When is? When, tomorrow? The day after that, or -- or the day after that? Greenlee, we're not guaranteed any of that, ok? Today pretty much proved that.

Greenlee: I know.

[Another tornado approaches]

Ryan: Run!

[Greenlee yells]

Ryan: Hang on!

[Siren blairs]

J.R.: Everyone down now!

Angie: Jesse's out there.

Kathy: Can we -- can you ask our angel to come back?

Krystal: Why don't we ask together, huh? Dear Lord, you have given us many blessings in this life, but none so special as the people we love. I ask that you please watch over us, especially our children, those who are with us, and Jenny, and Emma -- keep them safe throughout the night.

Aidan: Hang on.

[Greenlee screams]

[Aidan grunts]

Ryan: Greenlee?

[Aidan groans]

Greenlee: Aidan.

[Greenlee screams]

Aidan: You need to get out of here now.

Ryan: His arm -- his arm is pinned.

Aidan: I'm serious. Go now!

Greenlee: No, I'm not leaving here without you.

Aidan: Look, this damn thing is going to blow any second. Take her. Get her out of here now.

Ryan: Not without you, Aidan. Not without you.

Aidan: There's no point.

Greenlee: We can't give up. We can't give up.

Aidan: Look, I would rather die than owe Ryan anything.

Ryan: I am the one that's in debt here, ok, Aidan? And you cannot die until I pay you back.

Jesse: I don't need stitches, damn it! What I need is an ambulance out front right now.

Tad: Yeah, well, what I need is a key. Why don't you get in here. Be a good Joe, go out and get one of your attack dogs to cough up one, ok?

Jesse: Tad, I don't know what kind of trouble you've gotten yourself into, but right now I don't have time for you. You're going to have to wait.

Tad: How do you know I did anything wrong?

Jesse: You got a cuff going on right there, Tad. That's generally a pretty good indication.

Tad: All I was trying to do was get to The Comeback, check on the safety of my daughter and my wife. One of your men did this to me.

Jesse: Yeah. Well, they had orders to keep everybody off the street, and it's a good thing they did. A tornado just ripped through The Comeback. Krystal and Kathy are fine -- Babe, not so good. She got pinned under a beam. It cut an artery in her leg.

Opal: Oh, my God. My visions were right. They really were crying out for help.

Jesse: Well, help is on the way, Opal.

Tad: I'm going with you.

Jesse: Tad, it's not safe.

Tad: Jesse, please listen to me. Listen. If The Comeback was torn to shreds, God knows how many injured you got right now. EMTs are stretched thin as it is. Please. You need all the help you can get.

Opal: He's right.

Tad: Just let me help my family.

Jesse: O'Malley! Cuff key, cuff key. Here.

Tad: I can get that off. Mama, get this off.

Jesse: All right.

Krystal: We ask that you give us the strength and the courage to weather any storm that comes our way --

[Siren stops]

Krystal: Or passes us right by. Thank you. Thank you, Lord.

Randi: Thank God.

Natalia: We made it.

Annie: Please, God, let Emma be ok.

Kathy: Is it over?

Krystal: Yes, honey. Our angel just swooped right down and kept us safe. It's just nothing short of a miracle that we all came through all right.

Little Adam: Are you ok, Mom?

J.R.: Babe?

Krystal: What -- what? What happened?

Angie: Her heart stopped.

Krystal: What? No.

Angie: Be careful.

Krystal: No. My God.

Bianca: When I first asked you to father my child, I didn't -- I wasn't sure you'd even consider it. And I didn't blame you. I mean, it's not like I was asking you to take in the mail or water the plants. We made a baby. And it's understandable that you would be worried about how Kendall would react.

Zach: I was more worried about how I was going to react. I -- I got Spike and Ian and the thought of putting another baby in this world and not being part of it every day --

Bianca: So what changed?

Zach: That dinner in Marseilles. Um, Reese -- she's pretty cool, and she loves you very much, and she loves Miranda.

Bianca: Yeah. They're inseparable. I mean, especially now that the baby's on the way.

Zach: Not crazy about being a big sister, is she?

Bianca: Well, she's excited, but just not about having to share all of Mommy's attention. Reese has been amazing, though. She's always taking her first special Miranda days, so that she doesn't feel left out.

Zach: Well, any child would be happy to have her, especially mine.

Bianca: Let's hope Kendall feels the same way.

Frankie: All right, talk to me. What do we got?

EMT: Severe head trauma. B.P.'s 80 over palp, pulse 148 and weak. Had to intubate en route.

Frankie: All right. Call Radiology. Tell them to clear the scanner and let's get her to trauma two.

EMT: Pressure's dropping.

Frankie: Draw up some Mannitol and have a crash cart standing by.

EMT: She's in V-fib.

Frankie: Oh, damn. Damn, damn. Code blue!

[Aidan grunts]

Aidan: You need to get out of here. Otherwise, we could all die, Greenlee. Go!

Greenlee: No, you're not dying, not if I can help it.

Aidan: Well, you can't, can you? Look around. I'm trapped. There's nothing you can do and help isn't coming. Just -- go! Get out of here!

Greenlee: Ryan, please. We can't leave him here. We have to do something.

[Aidan grunts]

[Ryan grunts as he lifts the log off Aidan]

[Electricity crackles]

[Ryan pants as Aidan rolls free]

[Adam coughs]

Erica: Oh -- here, here. Maybe this will help.

[Adam pants]

Adam: Well, for somebody who doesn't care whether -- whether I live or die, you're being rather attentive to my needs.

Erica: Oh, don't look for much in that. I mean, I just -- your coughing is keeping me awake.

Adam: If you didn't care something about me, you'd have let me choke to death.

Erica: Yeah, well, I'd argue with you, but we don't have enough air for banter.

Adam: How about a confession?

Erica: What are you talking about?

Adam: Huh. Isn't that what people do when they think they're dying? They -- they confess everything?

Erica: Well, it would take you two lifetimes to confess everything you did wrong. Unfortunately, I think that we're down to just a matter of minutes.

Adam: I tainted Babe's bargain-basement perfume so Fusion would be ripe for the picking.

Annie: Everything's going to be just fine. You know that? Hi. It's going to be just fine.

Tad: Kathy?

Annie: Oh, look who's here.

Kathy: Daddy!

Tad: Thank God. Oh. Oh, let me look at you. Thank God, thank God, thank God. I was so worried. How are you, sunshine? Huh?

Kathy: Krystal asked her angel to keep up safe, and she did.

Tad: Of course, she did. Of course, she did. Do you have any idea who's looking after you? Huh? Best angel in the business, the cream of the crop. We should all be so lucky. Thank you. Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you. Annie.

Annie: Of course.

Tad: Honey, Jenny's fine. Babe.

Angie: Wait. I've got a pulse.

Frankie: Charge 360. Clear.

EMT: Nothing.

Nurse: The Mannitol's on board.

Frankie: Ok, hit her again. Hit her again. Clear! Come on, Kendall. Don't you die on me. Your family needs you. Come on.

Zach: Where the hell is everybody?

Bianca: She's going to be ok. When has my sister ever given up anything without a fight?

Zach: Not lately, that's for sure. We've been arguing a lot about her putting her nose in Ryan's business and Greenlee's business.

Bianca: Well, that sure sounds like Kendall. She never knows when --

[Bianca winces]

Zach: What?

Bianca: Oh, God. The -- the baby. I think it's coming.
