Erica: Oh, Adam, I'm glad you're here.
Adam: What a lovely surprise. I was going to have lunch alone.
Erica: You still are.
Adam: Why are you here?
Erica: I'm concerned.
Adam: Oh, I'm touched!
Erica: Opal's visions.
Adam: Oh, again?
Adam: Decades of fumes from the Glamorama.
Erica: Oh, well, it could be, but she still insists that we are all in danger.
Adam: Well, I don't think you're worried about a little danger. I think you're here because you're afraid of being alone.
Kendall: I know, I know. It's ok, sweetie, I'm not going to leave you. I'm going to be right here. I promise.
Zach: What's going on here?
Kendall: Emma's not feeling very well, is she?
Emma: I'm hot.
Kendall: Yeah, you are. What do you think?
Zach: I think we're going to take a little trip.
Amanda: What do you think?
Greenlee: It's -- gorgeous.
Pete: It's the moon.
Greenlee: And it makes me want to buy Bella.
Amanda: Well, you might as well join the rest of the free world. Initial phase is out of control, over the top, rocking the discount chains.
Greenlee: Ooh, whatever Kendall doesn't like about this, she's got to love the numbers. What's good for Bella is good for Fusion. I love it.
Stuart: I love it. Oh, yeah, it isn't finished yet. I -- I'm hoping I can finish it tonight, as soon as my friend reappears.
Ryan: That moon.
Stuart: Yeah. That moon is so miraculous and adventurous and romantic and -- and the halo. Look at the halo.
Ryan: Every month, from full to new. We know exactly what the moon is going to look like and when and yet she still manages to surprise us.
Ryan: We actually had a pretty hot date last night, you know?
Ryan: Oh, excuse me. Hello?
Kendall: Ryan, it's -- it's Emma.
Ryan: What's wrong?
Kendall: She has a really high fever, so we're going to go to the hospital.
Ryan: I'm on my way.
[Annie gasps when Babe touches her shoulder]
Annie: Oh, God.
Babe: I really need to stop walking up on you like that.
Annie: I'm sorry. That's really becoming a pain for you, I'm sure.
Babe: You know, how about I make you a hot cup of tea. It'll chase the chill out of the breeze for you.
Annie: That'd be great.
Annie: Is someone there? Hello? Oh, my God, Babe!
Taylor: Wow, that's beautiful.
Stuart: Oh, it's the subject. People see the moon, and they think of love and romance.
Taylor: Well, that moonlight that all the lovers swoon over that'll -- that'll get you killed during the war.
Stuart: Oh, that -- that's kind of sad thinking of the -- of the moon as an enemy.
Taylor: Well, you know, darkness is safety, and light exposes you, it makes you vulnerable.
Stuart: Yeah. It's not -- it's not always a terrible thing to be vulnerable.
Taylor: It's nice to meet you.
Stuart: Oh, hey, um, when you're running, are you running to something or away from something?
Babe: Are you ok?
J.R.: What -- what happened?
Annie: He was right there.
Adam: The resident screamer.
Erica: You could set your watch by her.
J.R.: I'll handle this.
Adam: You can start by packing her bags. Erica?
J.R.: All right, did you get a close look at him this time?
Annie: No, it -- it happened so fast, but I -- I saw that he had dark clothes on and dark hair.
J.R.: Oh, that narrows it down.
J.R.: It's J.R.
Babe: So -- so he didn't grab you this time? He just ran? I was just here. I wish I had gotten a good look at him, too.
Annie: You don't believe me.
Babe: Of course, I do.
Annie: My God, I'm out of here.
Babe: No, no, wait.
J.R.: Security's got nothing.
Annie: You guys don't believe me, do you?
Babe: I believe you're afraid of someone.
Annie: I'm not making this up.
Babe: Do you remember how we were talking about Richie, you know, when he died and -- and he was still in our heads?
Annie: No, Babe, this is different. I'm not crazy, ok? Someone was there.
Babe: Annie, you've been under a lot of stress lately. I mean, just think about it. This -- this mystery man all of a sudden shows up when Emma's taken away from you?
Annie: You think I'm making all this up, somebody watching me, grabbing me, and pushing me to the ground? You saw the marks on my wrist last night. Kendall's gotten to you, hasn't she? You think I did that to myself. Is that what you think? You're just like everybody else. You think I'm lying.
Babe: No, no, we don't. We're -- we're not against you, Annie.
Jesse: Annie Lavery, Jesse Hubbard.
Annie: Chief Hubbard, is there any news?
Jesse: There has been some developments.
Annie: About last night? Did you find somebody?
Jesse: Could you come by the station?
Annie: Yeah, absolutely. I'll be right there. Well, apparently, there have been some developments. At least the chief of police believes me.
Kendall: What do you think it is?
Jake: Ah, well, it's probably just a virus but this little swab will tell us whether it's strep or not. I'd like to -- like to run a few blood tests, just to make sure.
Zach: Whatever you need, man.
Jake: All right, good. Let me get this to the lab. Now, you are my star patient this week, for the whole week, the whole month. When I leave, will you look out for these two? Could you do that for me? Good. See ya.
Man: You have to help my wife. Ah, she -- it's not even my wife yet. She got sick before the ceremony. Look at her, all of them. It's a horrible rash, fever.
Angie: You know, it could be a reaction to something she ate.
Woman: My wedding is ruined.
Man: No, no, it's not the food. It's the perfume.
Angie: What? Are you sure? Do you have it with you?
Man: Oh, yeah, yeah, I got it all right, and I am going to sue the hell out of this company.
Kendall: We are going to get you home, and you're going to be good as new, I promise. Dr. Jake will make sure of that.
Emma: I want my mommy and daddy.
Zach: I'm afraid they're not here right now.
Ryan: Oh, Daddy is here --
Ryan: Yeah, I'm right here. Hi. Oh, my goodness. Oh, you feel a little bit warm.
Emma: I don't feel very well.
Ryan: Oh, I know. I know you don't but you know what? We're going to get you all better, ok.
Emma: I want to go home.
Ryan: Oh, I know. That's what I want, too. That's all I want. I promise, I promise. Are they taking good care of you?
Zach: So you called him?
Kendall: Emma's sick, ok? I know we have custody of her until the investigation is over, but you invite Annie over for a little play date. That doesn't count? She's sick. Ryan has every right to know.
Zach: You call him, but you didn't call Annie, and you don't think she has a right to be here?
Adam: Admit it, Erica, this trip was just another excuse to see me.
Erica: Opal was right about Pete.
Adam: Well, that -- what idiot cozies up to a forklift during an electrical storm?
Erica: Well, Opal was right before.
Adam: Yeah, well, she's an hysteric.
Erica: Well, she says that you and I are -- are going to be bound in tragedy.
Adam: Oh, come on. She just can't stand the idea that her best gal pal is cavorting with her biggest enemy. She'll have, uh, locusts descending on our heads first.
Erica: Well, I'm just saying, it -- it's not terrible to be aware.
Adam: No, no, no, I'm very aware. I'm very aware that, um, that a little bit of danger adds spice to a relationship.
Adam: Mm-hmm. Every time I look up, I see you.
Erica: I'm not here all the time.
Adam: And the kiss.
Erica: You kissed me.
Adam: Oh, and you kissed me back, several times.
Erica: I'm leaving.
Adam: No, you're, uh, you're running, um --
Erica: No, I'm not. I'm -- I'm really sick and tired of being baited.
Adam: You're enjoying this as much as I am.
Erica: And criticized.
Adam: Oh, really. Well, I'm a mirror. If you don't like what you see --
Erica: You know what I see?
Erica: I see a man who is just claiming he wants to be alone but really just hangs on tooth and nail to his family. You are so lonely that you spend way too much time with the pubescent son of your arch enemy. Look into this mirror, Adam, and what do you see? You see a deceitful, pompous man with unbridled ego and the morals of a -- of a --
Jesse: Annie, this is not about last night's report.
Annie: I don't understand.
Jesse: It's about the custody case, the investigation, the gun -- just a few follow-up questions.
Annie: Of course. Whatever I can do to help.
Jesse: All right, so, we know that Adam Chandler's statement claims that his gun was locked in the cabinet downstairs, right?
Annie: He's lying.
Jesse: Well, that's why I wanted to talk to you, wanted to get to the bottom of just how that gun ended up in your room.
Annie: I told you, I don't know how it got there.
Jesse: Which is why I thought we should go over it again, slowly.
Annie: I mean, again? My God, I told you the truth. I told you the truth -- everybody the truth about everything. Why doesn't anyone believe me?
Kendall: Annie is a lunatic.
Zach: She's a mother.
Kendall: Emma doesn't need her insanity.
Zach: The child needs her mother.
Kendall: Yeah, well, not when she's crazy. There's no way to predict how Annie's going to behave, and Emma doesn't need a scene. She needs to be cared and loved. That's what Ryan's doing.
Zach: Oh, ok, and you're all right with that?
Zach: So, if Ian and Spike were in the hospital --
Kendall: No, no, don't twist this.
Zach: You have no right to take a mother away from her child.
Kendall: Um, yeah, you know what? This particular mother, I think so.
Ryan: "Good night, cow jumping over the moon."
Greenlee: Hmm, it draws you in. You love someone, they hang the moon. You're happy, you're over the moon. Someone loves you so much, they'd lasso the moon.
Amanda: Moonlight, moonbeams, moon dance.
Pete: Colder than the moon's backside. What? You've met my mother.
Amanda: Go input something.
Greenlee: It's romantic. Constant possibilities and hope.
Amanda: Wow, I just thought it was a pretty picture.
Greenlee: Our demographic works hard, dreams hard, not for some prince to just swoop in and take care of them or complete them. They dream of romance, that moment, the idea that it can last forever.
Amanda: Is that how it is for you?
Amanda: With Aidan, the moment, forever?
Greenlee: Oh. Yeah. I mean, I didn't even like him all that much in the beginning, and I was all over the place.
Amanda: Yeah, you were pretty whacked out back then. But you're -- you're great now.
Greenlee: Well, that's Aidan. It's not crazy, roller coaster love, but it's warm and steady, always there, always just right.
Amanda: The glow.
Amanda: Ah. Jake and I are still doing the roller coaster thing -- weak knees, stomach drops, tingles, will he, won't he, does he, doesn't he?
Greenlee: Is it love?
Amanda: It's amazing. It's crazy, huh? Started out the hot doctor with the great hands and now -- Is that how it is? True love just sneaks up on you?
Greenlee: You don't even think it's possible. You're living your life. You're just going along thinking that you finally figured everything out. You know what you want, you know where you're going and then it hits you so hard, you see stars.
Amanda: Or the moon.
Angie: You're sure this is the cause?
Man: Oh, I'm sure, all right. I am a buyer at Danstein's. Fusion delivered samples of their new perfume. My wife's name is Bella. I mean, it's a perfect gift, right? She loved it, didn't you -- didn't you, baby? Yeah, next thing we know, she's breaking out with the itching and the sweats and the heaving.
Bella: My life is over!
Angie: No, it's not. We'll take care of this.
Man: Yeah, well, I paid in advance for the reception, the honeymoon. Can you take care of that, too?
Kendall: I called Ryan because he makes Emma feel safe. That's what she needs.
Angie: Listen, we're going to get this tested and --
Man: Wait, wait, wait a minute, Kendall Hart, Fusion. You poisoned my bride.
Kendall: I'm sorry, the psych ward is on the third floor.
Man: But, no, no, no, this -- this, your Bella poisoned my Bella.
Zach: You need to calm down.
Man: Wait, we should be on our honeymoon, not in the E.R.
Kendall: What -- what -- what's going on here?
Angie: It seems that the bride applied liberal amounts of Bella before the wedding, and she's having an allergic reaction.
Kendall: That's crazy.
Man: What, you don't believe me? Here, here try it.
Angie: Look no -- listen, we're going to get that tested, ok?
Kendall: This must be some mistake.
Man: Your mistake was distributing a defective product. You can expect a call from my lawyer. Come on, let's go.
Bella: Don't step on my train!
Man: I'm sorry.
Kendall: This -- this -- this cannot be happening.
Angie: No, it -- it's pretty real, Kendall. Itching, rashes, a fever, nausea --
Kendall: Well, can we test it, please? Can -- I need to know if Bella's making people sick.
Angie: I will let you know.
Kendall: Thank you. Oh, great. Zach, I really need to --
Zach: Go. I'll take it -- I'll -- I'll do things here, it's fine.
Kendall: I'm sorry about --
Zach: I know.
Kendall: I'll call you later.
Zach: Mm-hmm. How's Emma?
Ryan: She's asleep, and I would stay but the police called and apparently they want me in for more questioning.
Jesse: So, you didn't take the gun out of the man's cabinet.
Annie: My story hasn't changed. Adam's has. So, why am I being treated like a criminal?
Jesse: Annie, I understand the stress you're under, the miscarriage, truly unfortunate, and I am sorry.
Annie: Thank you.
Jesse: Your brother's death, not knowing what happened, who did it. It can make the grieving process even more difficult.
Annie: You have no idea.
Jesse: You haven't called in about your brother's case in a while.
Annie: You're a busy man, Chief Hubbard. You'd have called me if you had any leads, wouldn't you?
Jesse: Of course, I would.
Annie: I just really want closure on all this.
Jesse: Closure's good.
Annie: So? You do believe me, right, about the gun and this person stalking me?
Jesse: Well, if someone's stalking you, we will get him. As far as the gun is concerned, we will give the results of our investigation to the judge. The custody decision, it's out of my hands.
Annie: Ok. Is there anything else?
Jesse: Well, I think we're done.
Annie: What are you doing here?
Ryan: Jesse called me in for some follow-up questions. Why, you, too?
Annie: I want this over. I want Emma back.
Ryan: Yeah, well, the judge will decide that.
Annie: She should be with her mother, Ryan.
Ryan: She should be in a stable home, Annie. Guns, stalkers -- that's not a very stable home, now, is it?
Ryan: Emma made a trip to the hospital, Annie.
Annie: What? When?
Ryan: Today, today, she just went in for a checkup. She's got a bit of a virus. She's doing ok. She's fine.
Annie: And Kendall called you, but she didn't call me? Kendall is a mother. She knows what it means to have a sick child, and she couldn't even give me that?
Ryan: Emma is fine, Annie. That's the part that you should be focusing on.
Adam: Any sightings of, uh, Annie's mystery assailant?
Erica: And I was just getting used to the hourly screams.
Babe: You know, I want to believe Annie but things are getting way out of hand. Either she's losing it --
Adam: Yeah, what was your first clue?
Babe: Or it's some weird way to get attention.
Adam: Yes, so we are agreed. Annie leaves immediately.
J.R.: No, she doesn't go anywhere until after the custody hearings.
Babe: Annie's so fragile. She needs her friends, she needs Emma.
Erica: Well, she's hardly a fit mother.
Babe: She's a great mom. She just made a mistake.
Babe: It's from Amanda.
Babe: "Bella's a big hit. We're partying at the office. Your presence is demanded."
Erica: Well, don't let us stop you.
Babe: I'll be back.
J.R.: All right. I'm proud of you.
Adam: Hmm, good news, Babe. Congratulations.
J.R.: You know, you almost said that like you meant it.
Adam: I do, I do mean it. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a business call to make.
Erica: Have you and Babe set a wedding date?
J.R.: We will.
Erica: Look, whatever it is, just say it.
J.R.: You and my father -- you're up to something.
Erica: Your imagination is running overtime.
J.R.: You two are trying to take over Fusion.
Kendall: What the hell's going on?
Amanda: Oh, work on your party manner.
Greenlee: Hmm, I have a glass of champagne.
Kendall: You have no idea, do you?
Amanda: That we're a hit? That Bella is flying off the shelves?
Kendall: And into the emergency room.
Greenlee: What are you talking about?
Kendall: People got sick.
Pete: From Bella?
Kendall: Yes, fever, rashes, nausea, itching, everything. Sound familiar?
Greenlee: My honeymoon.
Kendall: Yes, you spilled Bella, and you got sick. Well, I just ran into a bride in the emergency room, and she had the exact same symptoms you described, and now her husband is screaming lawsuit. Multiply that by every damn bottle flying off the shelves, and we're screwed.
Greenlee: Well, still, it could be a coincidence.
Amanda: Or not.
Kendall: What did you say?
Amanda: We got a call from one of our retail accounts.
Kendall: You didn't say anything?
Amanda: I thought it was the flu.
Greenlee: You knew about this?
Amanda: Babe wanted to test it, to hold off distribution. I convinced her that it wasn't worth the time or money.
Babe: Yeah, but I didn't fight you.
Greenlee: So, you released the product anyway, knowing that people got sick. That's prior knowledge.
Kendall: This is what we get for letting amateurs run our company and try to develop a product using our name -- our company, our name.
Amanda: We'll fix it.
Kendall: Yeah, you're right you will. Hello?
Angie: I have the results on the Bella sample.
Angie: There's a synthetic that's not listed in the product's ingredients.
Kendall: It's tainted. Any idea how?
Angie: Well, it could have come from any number of sources. I mean, it could be contaminated, substandard production. I mean, it's not uncommon in overseas labs.
Kendall: Ok, thank you. Uh, Angie?
Kendall: If the press happens to ask about this, can you please say "no comment"?
Angie: My responsibility is to my patient, not reporters -- or cosmetic companies.
Amanda: Not good, huh?
Kendall: Damn you and damn your stupid Bella.
Jake: Excuse me. Hey. How you doing? Come here often, sailor?
Taylor: Now, that's an original line.
Jake: Yeah. Well, I've been calling you. Could I get a beer, Kyle? Just anything you got on tap is fine.
Kyle: Yeah, sure.
Taylor: Really? I've been busy.
Jake: Yeah? You've been avoiding me.
Taylor: I've been busy.
Jake: You're chicken.
Jake: You're chicken. I -- I guess I scare you or something.
Taylor: Um, terrorists scare me and IEDs scare me, but you don't scare me.
Jake: Ok. Well, I, uh -- I just wish that you hadn't left so quickly, because we didn't get to -- thank you -- finish talking about what we were talking about.
Taylor: What were we talking about?
Jake: I see you, Taylor. Ok? And you talk about missing your fiancÚ. I see you trying to figure out who you are when -- when you try to find yourself --
Taylor: I'm not sure where you're going with this, but actually I have to go, because I'm getting up very early in the morning --
Jake: Do not walk away from me, please.
Taylor: What do you want from me, Jake?
Jake: Why are you so hostile with me? What did I ever do to you? Have I done something --
Taylor: Why am I -- you know what? You always make me -- why can't I just buy you a beer, we play a game of pool, and we go our separate ways?
Jake: No, what were you trying to say before? You started to say I do what? I always make you feel what?
Taylor: You always make -- when I'm with you, I --
Taylor: You make me feel vulnerable. Ok? I said it. There, you happy? Vulnerable.
Jake: So, what's wrong with that?
Taylor: Everything. I can't be vulnerable. I don't do that, not on a battlefield, not in a bar, and not with you.
Annie: Why didn't you call me?
Zach: She's fine.
Annie: My own daughter is sick, and I don't get a phone call?
Zach: Ann --
Annie: Where -- where is she, Zach? I want to see her.
Zach: She's fine, Annie. You got to calm down.
Annie: You could call Ryan, but you couldn't call me? I thought we were friends, Zach. I thought you -- I thought you understood, but really you're just like everybody else.
Zach: She had a fever. She's feeling better. We got some tests done. We'll hear about that tomorrow. If something had been really wrong, we would have called you, of course.
Annie: I deserve to know.
Zach: You're right. I'm sorry.
Annie: Well, can I see her, please?
Zach: I'll go get her.
Annie: Hey -- Kendall did this, didn't she? She wouldn't call me.
Zach: She'll be happy to see you.
J.R.: I think that you're either helping my father, or Kendall's convinced you to play him, so she can protect her company.
Erica: And I think you've been watching too much TV. I have my own career. You really think I have time for all these little business dramas? And I love my daughter, but if Kendall and Greenlee's company needs protecting, as you say --
J.R.: No, no, you wouldn't help them, though.
Erica: Kendall doesn't need or want my help. Anyway, as I said, I wouldn't dream of taking it over.
J.R.: All right. If that's true, then what are you doing with my father?
Adam: Isn't that obvious? She finds me irresistible.
Kendall: You knew we had a potentially defective product, and you put it on the market anyway. To what, cut a few corners, shave some pennies? We never should have let them run this.
Babe: Ok. We can still do damage control.
Kendall: Yeah, you're damn right you're doing damage control. I want every single one of you on the phone. Get Randi in here. She can help, too. Call every single shop, buyer, distributor -- every store clerk and get those bottles back here immediately.
Babe: We'll do it. We'll do it.
Kendall: A full recall. I want every single bottle back here -- every bottle -- and then we'll discuss your future with this company.
Greenlee: One thing at a time.
Amanda: Even if we get all those bottles back, the press are going to be all over this.
Greenlee: Maybe so, but with every bottle we get back unused, that's one less lawsuit.
Kendall: What the hell are you waiting for? Go. Get on the phones now. Oh, God.
Greenlee: This is a disaster. We should have gone to the manufacturer and inspected the facility ourselves.
Kendall: Forget the manufacturer. Let's start closer to home, like Adam Chandler.
Greenlee: You think?
Kendall: Babe seems to think that Adam is planning some sort of a takeover on Fusion. And let's face it, he's got Pete in his back pocket, and my mother overheard Annie talking to him.
Greenlee: Annie? About Bella?
Kendall: Well, not about Bella and not about anything specific, but my mother knows deception when she sees it.
Greenlee: Kind of light on evidence.
Kendall: No, it's all I need. It's Adam. I know it is. I know it is, and I'm going to prove it.
Annie: It's a six and a three. So, you do yours.
Emma: One, two, three, four, five --
Annie: Oh, no --
Emma: Six, seven --
Annie: And I lost!
Emma: You let me win.
Annie: Yes. I will always let you win.
Emma: Who lets you win?
Annie: Not very many people, but you know what? I win every single day, because I have you.
[Annie makes kissing noises]
Annie: Kisses, kisses, kisses.
Emma: Mommy, stop. You'll get sick, too.
Annie: Oh, no. I would never get sick being with you, my love. I think this one's kind of tired, huh? Is it ok if I get her ready for bed?
Zach: She wouldn't have it any other way.
Stuart: Oh, yeah. Isn't she?
Ryan: Is it for sale?
Stuart: Oh, she's yours. I mean, if -- as soon as it dries.
Ryan: Are you -- Stuart, come on. Well, actually it -- it would be for Emma, so --
Ryan: Yeah. You know, is there any way that you could get that to Kendall's? It's where my daughter's staying right now.
Stuart: Oh. I hope she loves it.
Ryan: Ok. She will, she will. Thank you so much, Stuart. It's really generous of you. I owe you one, ok?
Stuart: Ok. Have a nice night.
Ryan: You, too. You, too. Thanks.
Jake: I think you're scared of me.
Taylor: I'm not scared of you. I'm scared of -- I -- I don't do the touchy-feely thing, ok? It's weak.
Jake: Hmm. So, you can arm-wrestle and -- and curse with your buddies from your unit, but you can't be yourself with a friend.
Taylor: Wasn't the point? It's pathetic. It's useless.
Jake: Do you know how you are when you talk to me and -- those little moments when you open up and talk about your fiancÚ and how much you miss him -- at those moments, I can see how much you miss him and how much you love him and that person, that woman, that's the person that I'm -- that I'm interested in. That's the person that I want to -- that I want to --
Jake: No, but --
Taylor: You don't want this, Jake. You want cleavage and giggles. You don't want a soldier. You don't want a screwed-up soldier.
Jake: Are you paying attention? I think you're amazing.
Taylor: Because I beat you in a sprint? I --
Jake: No, because you make me think. You -- you challenge me.
Taylor: I'm -- I'm done thinking for tonight -- done talking.
[Music plays out of the jukebox]
Jake: No, uh, talking. No thinking.
[Jake and Taylor dance]
Singer: Take the time to let it be the things you loved don't make a sound you never go where you can't be found is it love or is it greed? Is it you or is it me? Promise of affection takes me in let it in let it in
Greenlee: That's the last of the calls. We've done everything we can.
Babe: Now what? Prepare for public humiliation?
Greenlee: Fusion's been through a hell of a lot worse than this. We'll be fine.
Amanda: I'd say a prayer, but God and I haven't been on the same page lately.
Greenlee: People, we'll get through this. As for me, I'm going to go clear my head, let it go, and worry about it tomorrow.
Amanda: I can't let it go. We were going to be huge -- bigger, bigger than huge. I totally messed it up.
Babe: We made a mistake.
Amanda: That could bring down an entire company and wipe me out.
Babe: It won't happen, Amanda. We're going to fight back, ok? We're not going to let it happen.
Adam: Don't you have a wedding to plan?
[J.R. walks out of the room]
Erica: Couldn't you have waited five minutes longer?
Adam: And what would that have gotten me?
Erica: I think that J.R. has his sights set on Fusion.
Adam: Oh, yes. You're absolutely right. Yeah, he wants Babe to take over the company.
Erica: Is J.R. drinking again?
Adam: No. No, Babe and J.R. -- Babe and J.R. feel that their low-class Bella is a ticket to toppling Kendall and Greenlee and putting Babe in charge.
Erica: I wouldn't trust Babe to run a lemonade stand.
Adam: I agree. She's made my son stupid and weak -- a situation I intend to correct.
Erica: How do you plan to do that?
Kendall: It was you, wasn't it?
Adam: What was?
Kendall: Bella. You did this. I don't know how you did, but somehow it -- everyone's getting sick from it.
Adam: I can hardly be blamed if you have unleashed an inferior product among unsuspecting consumers.
Kendall: Oh, please. The product was fine. But this is it, isn't it? This is your big plan. Poison the perfume and take down Fusion. Well, you listen to me. If you ever, ever go after my company, you better get ready for the fight of your life.
Annie: Thanks, Zach, for letting me spend time with her.
Zach: It's got to be hard being away from her.
Annie: It's making me crazy. Oh -- probably not the best choice of words, huh? Do you think I'm crazy, Zach?
Zach: I think you're a mother protecting her daughter.
Annie: I hope a judge believes that. Nobody seems to believe a word I say anymore. They also don't believe that someone is stalking me and -- he grabbed me last night, Zach.
Zach: What do you mean, he grabbed you?
Annie: He grabbed me.
Zach: Did you call the police?
Annie: I don't think they'd believe me, either. Neither does Babe, J.R., Adam.
Zach: Well, no one has seen this mystery person, so it's --
Annie: I'm always -- I'm always the liar. I'm always on the outside. I don't understand why these people won't just let me live my life.
Zach: That's -- that's not the way to get your daughter back.
Annie: I know, I know, I know. I need to be calm and rational. It's just, I don't know what to do any more, Zach. I don't know how to fight this. Everyone thinks I'm crazy Annie. My God, the way Ryan looks at me, the way your -- your wife looks at me, and the way -- the way the whole damn town looks at me. Sorry. This is when I should shut up, right? Not say everything I'm thinking.
Zach: I think that'd be a good idea.
Annie: I love my daughter, Zach, and I am a really, really good mom. You know that. So, will you help me get her back?
Zach: Yeah. I will.
