Aidan: So, if you could have children, would you want to?

Greenlee: Yes, I think I do. Yes, of course, I do. I want your baby, Ryan.

Aidan: Ryan's not here. It's me, Aidan, and we're in the Bahamas on our honeymoon.

Greenlee: Aidan?

Aidan: Yeah, that's right.

Greenlee: I feel rotten.

Aidan: I know. The doctor's on his way. Just lay here, relax, and everything's going to be all right.

Emma: Daddy, did you find it?

Ryan: Um, not yet. No, I didn't. But it's a really big house, you know? So, I'm sure we're going to find your doll someplace. I have an idea. Why don't you go and look in your playroom and I'm going to run downstairs, and I'm going to ask Mommy if she knows where the doll is hiding, ok? Go ahead, go on.

J.R.: I'm sorry, there was a ring.

Babe: It doesn't matter, I don't need a ring. All I need is you.

[Little Adam coughing]

Babe: Oh, my God, baby, are you ok?

Babe: He's choking.

Adam: Call 911.

Pete: I'm on it.

Kendall: What the hell are you doing?

Kendall: Annie, get away from him. Annie, what are you doing?

Annie: He can't breathe.

Kendall: Get your hands off of him, stop. He needs a doctor, not you.

Annie: It's ok, it's ok.

Zach: Come on, make some room, make some room.

Babe: Oh, thank God.

Krystal: Thank Annie, she's the one who got him breathing.

J.R.: Thank you.

Annie: Don't thank me, really.

J.R.: No, it's the least I could do. You just saved my son's life.

Zach: Slow down, what are you doing?

Kendall: You know what? If you want to go and watch J.R. fall all over himself to thank Annie, go right ahead. But I have seen all I can stomach.

Zach: His son almost choked to death, of course, he's grateful.

Kendall: Oh, please. You think Annie saved Little A out of the goodness of her heart? No, she didn't. She did it for one reason. To look like some kind of a hero so when Ryan found out.

Zach: Are you serious right now?

Kendall: What better way to earn back Ryan's trust than to prove she's a good person?

Erica: Kendall, a little boy is choking, and you start screaming at the one person who's trying to help him? You mind telling me what that's all about?

Zach: What it's always about, your daughter's belief that the whole world revolves around Ryan Lavery.

Frankie: Take a deep breath. Good, and another.

Carmen: He's got a way with kids. That's a real gift, being able to calm that little boy down and put his parents' mind at ease.

Randi: Frankie knows how to talk to people. He looks you right in the eye, and he makes you feel like you matter.

Carmen: You do matter, don't let anyone tell you different. Hey, everybody's got things from their past that they're not proud of.

Frankie: His airway is clear, no obvious trauma to the vocal chords. You can take him to the E.R. and get an X-ray if you want.

J.R.: Does he need one?

Frankie: In this case, an X-ray's not going to tell you much more than I have.

Adam: J.R., the ambulance just pulled in the driveway.

J.R.: False alarm, Little Adam's going to be ok.

Adam: Oh, all the more reason to celebrate. Maybe you should share the good news. The natives are growing restless.

J.R.: Can I have everyone's attention, please? Just want to thank you for your patience and your concern. Little Adam gave us quite a scare, but he's going to be ok. Just got a clean bill of health from the doctor to prove it.

[All sigh]

Adam: So, let's celebrate, eat and drink, enjoy.

Aidan: So, is there a diagnosis?

Doctor: With plenty of fluids and some rest, your wife should be feeling better in the morning.

Aidan: And what about the rash?

Doctor: An allergic reaction.

Aidan: Could it be from the body ink?

Doctor: Most likely to the shellfish she had on the plane. I gave her a shot of diphenhydramine, that should help her with the itching.

Aidan: But I don't get it. Greenlee eats lobster all the time. Why would she suddenly now have a problem?

Doctor: It's not uncommon for people to develop allergies to food later in life, particularly to seafood.

Aidan: Could the nausea be from something else?

Doctor: I'll run some tests, but I doubt you have anything to worry about. Your wife is going to be fine. You get some sleep, and I'll come and check on you in the morning, huh?

Greenlee: Thank you.

Aidan: Thanks.

Doctor: Yeah.

Greenlee: I said Ryan's name, didn't I?

Aidan: Don't worry about what you said, ok? Just get some rest.

Greenlee: No, I'm not tired. Just tell me what I said.

Aidan: Greenlee, doctor's orders.

Greenlee: You're not coming to bed?

Aidan: In a little while.

Adam: Very impressive. It's not everyone who has the wherewithal to stay calm during a crisis, much less to think on your feet while doing so.

Annie: It was just instincts. I heard Babe scream, saw Little A turning blue. Kendall was right, I had absolutely no idea what I was doing.

Adam: Well, knowledge aside, your motherly instincts just saved my grandson's life.

Ryan: I got a question. Where were those instincts when you hid a gun in your daughter's bedroom?

Greenlee: The last thing I ever want to do is hurt you.

Aidan: Well, then don't. Forget about Ryan and focus on us and our future, the one that we're going to build together.

Greenlee: Don't you think I've tried? I've done everything I can to forget about Ryan, to push him out of my head, out of my heart, and start over with you. But it doesn't matter what I do. You'll never be able to make me as happy as I was with Ryan.

Ryan: You are damn lucky that I found this before Emma found it.

Annie: Found it where?

Ryan: Cut the crap, Annie. Are you kidding me, a gun? Did you even think what would happen if Emma found this?

Annie: Emma means everything to me, ok? You know how I feel about guns. I packed her up and moved her out of Wildwind when she found one there. Remember, Ryan?

Ryan: Ok, so then what was this doing in your bedroom, Annie?

Annie: I -- I don't know.

Ryan: It's not a game, all right? You don't just leave guns lying around in the house when there's little kids in it.

Annie: I didn't, Ryan. I am just as upset about this as you are.

Ryan: Stop lying to me, Annie.

Adam: Lower your voice, Ryan. I won't have your little domestic drama upsetting my guests.

Ryan: Adam, I just found a gun lying around in your house, ok? Ruining your little party should be the least of your concerns.

Erica: What is going on? What is all this shouting about?

Kendall: Ryan --

Ryan: What was this gun doing in your bedroom, Annie?

Kendall: You had a gun around Emma?

Zach: Calm down.

Kendall: Calm down? How calm would you be if Spike and Ian were in a room with a loaded gun?

Adam: Waving it around is not going to make it any less dangerous.

Erica: Adam is right. Please put that gun away before anybody gets hurt.

Ryan: Emma doesn't know that this in not a toy, ok, Annie? How could you leave it lying around? How could you do that?

Annie: I didn't, Ryan.

Kendall: Right, right, just like you didn't fake a car accident.

Zach: Can I have it? It's not loaded

Ryan: I know it's not loaded. It doesn't make a difference if it's not loaded. I found a gun in my daughter's bedroom and right now I want to know how the hell it got there.

[Annie recalls hiding the gun under the bed when she returned from Greenlee's place]

Ryan: The truth, Annie, right now.

Kendall: Not that she's capable of it.

Adam: The gun is mine. I put it there.

Greenlee: Ryan is out of our lives for good, I promise.

Aidan: Greenlee, you can go on pretending that everything is fine and that we're happy, but I know that you're not. I mean, how can you be when you're still in love with him?

Greenlee: I love you.

Aidan: Yeah, but not in the same way. I mean, you can fight it, all right? But it doesn't matter. I'll always know that Ryan's the one that you want to be with.

Greenlee: I'm sorry.

Aidan: Listen, if anyone's to blame, all right, it's me. I should have known better than to fall for you when your heart belonged to someone else.

Greenlee: Aidan.

Aidan: Goodbye, Greenlee.

Greenlee: Wait, please, don't go. Don't -- don't leave me. The last thing I ever want to do is hurt you.

Aidan: Well, then don't. Forget about Ryan and focus on us and our future, the one that we're going to build together.

Greenlee: That's all I think about, you and me living in a big house on top of a hill, acres of land all around us.

Aidan: Don't forget about the apple groves.

Greenlee: Or the kids.

Aidan: Kids?

Greenlee: Enough for a soccer team.

Aidan: But I thought you --

Greenlee: I was afraid of losing you, too.

Aidan: That's never going to happen.

Greenlee: I won't let it. I love you too much.

Erica: Adam, you're in the habit of leaving guns around your home with small children living here? Don't you know better than that?

Adam: Well, it's not as if I left it on my bedside table, is it?

Ryan: Stashed under the bed isn't a whole lot better, Adam.

Zach: What's wrong with your safe? The safe is fortified by six inches of steel and can't be opened without entering three separate codes.

Erica: Well, that sounds like the perfect place to store a gun to me, much better than just storing it in a spare room.

Adam: At the time this happened there was a madman loose, on the run, killing Fusion employees, one-by-one. I had guns all over this damn house. Babe was here as a houseguest. I had a responsibility of her life as well as my own family.

Zach: Well, we have guards. It's their job, right?

Adam: I didn't want to take that chance. And given your wife was a target, I'm sure you can sympathize.

Annie: But the Satin Slayer was caught over a year ago, why still keep the gun up in my room?

Adam: Clearly I forgot about it.

Kendall: You know, it's not just Emma who could have been hurt. What about Little A? You're not worried if you leave a gun around he's going to pick it up and think it's a toy?

Adam: Well, thankfully, he didn't find it. God knows Little A's given us enough scaring for one night. And now, if you all will excuse me, I'm going to go check on my grandson right now.

Zach: You may want to put this away.

Adam: Yes, wouldn't want this to fall into the wrong hands, would we?

Ryan: A little late for that, isn't it?

Annie: Well, you satisfied?

Ryan: No, no, I'm not. Not until my daughter is out of this house.

Pete: Colby, wait up.

Colby: What?

Pete: I -- are you ok? Of course, you're not ok. Your nephew almost choked to death. How could you possibly be ok?

Colby: Better question, how could I stand there and do absolutely nothing instead of helping him?

Pete: You were in shock. It happens.

Colby: Not to you or Annie. What if it happens again, and I'm the only one here?

Pete: It won't.

Colby: But what if it does? Little A could have died if Annie hadn't helped him at that moment. What if I can't?

Pete: You did when Jenny was born. Tad told me how brave you were.

Colby: He lied. I was completely freaked out. Krystal had to talk me through the entire thing.

Pete: So what? You delivered a baby.

Colby: I just did what I had to do.

Pete: You could have just walked away and let Krystal taken care of it. Your dad did.

Colby: I'm nothing like my dad.

Pete: No, your lips are much softer. Not that I would know what your dad's lips feel like.

Colby: Just stop talking.

Pete: Good idea.

Tad: Hey, excuse me, do you mind? Thank you.

Jesse: Hey, Tad, seen Angela?

Tad: Are you just getting here now?

Jesse: I was down at the station, following up on a case.

Tad: You certainly are taking a hands-on approach to this whole chief-of-police thing, aren't you?

Jesse: And that's a bad thing? I thought the whole idea was to make a difference, Tad. Which isn't always that easy from behind a desk.

Tad: I sincerely doubt every little traffic ticket requires the top dog's personal attention.

Jesse: Something on your mind?

Tad: Something's on my mind. Are you having an affair?

Jesse: Tad, I'm a very happily married man.

Tad: Well, you could have fooled me. Because wherever you were, you weren't at the station. I was. What's more, I overheard you on the phone.

Jesse: So, when?

Tad: Yesterday, in your office on your cell phone. You were definitely making an appointment with somebody.

Jesse: Somebody? Could have been anybody, Tad. Could have been an informant.

Tad: Yeah, really, are you in the habit of telling all your informants you love them before you hang up?

Jesse: Not all of them.

Tad: Hey, look at me. Whether you like it or not, you have got big trouble, big trouble. Now who is she? Now, Jesse, whether you like it or not, you've got to say something. Because you're not fooling anybody. Not me, and more importantly, not Angela. No matter what happens I am on your side, you know that. I always have been, I always will be. I do not want to stand here believing you're having an affair. As a matter of fact, I'm desperate to prove you're not. Now, who is she? Please?

Jesse: 20 years is a long time to be gone, Tad. I had a whole different life. When I came back here, I decided to commit to this one. I saw Angela after all those years, there was no way I could ever walk away from her again.

Tad: Ok, you promise me. Promise me you're breaking it off. You're ending it with this other person, right?

Jesse: I thought I did. Apparently she's still holding on.

Tad: And that's why you've been getting all the phone calls all day?

Jesse: I don't have the heart to tell Angela there was somebody else. How can I hurt her that way?

Tad: You may not have a choice. That's what I'm trying to tell you. She definitely knows something is going on. She asked me to look into it. That's the fact. I just thought you should know. Jesse, she thinks she's going crazy. You owe her some kind of explanation. Look, no matter what happened with that other woman, you are definitely going to need your wife on your side if you're going to bury your past.

Angie: Did your husband run out on you, too?

Krystal: What?

Angie: Well, I thought that he would be over there hovering. You know, seeing to it that Little A was checked out from top to bottom. Where did he disappear to?

Krystal: Was that what I was doing? Was I hovering?

Angie: Oh, look, no judgment here. Frankie is a grown man, and I am still hovering.

Frankie: Hey, you want to get out of here? Once I go doctor mode it doesn't feel much like a party anymore.

Randi: And go where?

Frankie: Well, you know, someplace where we can be alone. But first, I've got to make a call.

Randi: To who?

Frankie: Can't tell you. It would ruin the surprise.

Carmen: The guy wants to sweep you off your feet. So, why are they still planted on the ground?

Randi: Frankie's not like any other guy I've ever met before.

Carmen: He's gorgeous, good with kids, and a doctor to boot. I don't see the problem.

Randi: I've spent so many years closing myself off. Not thinking or feeling anything for the people that I was with. Staying numb was the only way to get through it. I want things to be different with Frankie.

Carmen: They can be.

Randi: What if they're not? What if I'm too broken for him to fix?

Annie: You can't take my daughter.

Ryan: Emma happens to be my daughter, too, Annie, and there's no way that she's spending another night in this house. Not with guns being left around, all right? She's coming home with me.

Annie: This is not about the gun, Ryan. You're doing this, you're taking Emma to punish me.

Kendall: Give me a break. Ryan is doing this to protect Emma. And if you were any kind of a parent, you would be doing the same thing.

Annie: I knew this would happen. The second the doctor told us, I knew this would happen. Because you went out of your way to make everything ok and say all the right things. You even took us to plant a damn tree. But deep down, I knew that you blamed me for losing our baby. And you still blame me. And that's why you're doing this.

Ryan: I want Emma safe.

Annie: I will not let you take her. You can't. I need her.

Kendall: Really? Ok, what about what Emma needs? You ever once stop to think about that?

Zach: Nothing has to be decided tonight. Why don't you guys go and get some sleep and talk about it in the morning?

Ryan: How the hell am I supposed to sleep when I just found a gun in my daughter's bedroom?

Zach: [Sighs] The gun's locked up, Emma's safe. Why don't you come with us, and you can tuck in Spike and read him a story or something? If he's still up, you can give Ian his 2:00 feeding. That way, at least we can sleep. What about that?

Kendall: Yeah, Ryan, come on. Spike could use some Daddy time.

Ryan: This is not over.

Greenlee: Ryan is out of our lives for good. I promise.

Aidan: Yeah, you promised to love me. And be faithful to me and stand by me.

Greenlee: I do love you.

Aidan: You led me to believe, Greenlee, we'd have a life together, a future.

Greenlee: Ryan and I are friends.

Aidan: You keep telling yourself that and maybe one day you'll actually believe it. I did, but then again, I fell for all of your lies. You never loved me, Greenlee. You can't because you're still in love with him.

Greenlee: No.

Aidan: Say it, Greenlee, say it. You know that you love Ryan.

[Greenlee wakes up]

Greenlee: You're still here.

Aidan: Of course, I am. Where else would I be?

Greenlee: You plan this incredibly romantic getaway, whisk me away to this beautiful island, where I proceed to kill the mood in, like, seconds. Not exactly a dream honeymoon, is it?

Aidan: Well, just look at it this way. It's going to be a trip we will never forget.

Greenlee: I'm so sorry.

Aidan: I was the one that ordered the lobster.

Greenlee: Don't.

Aidan: What?

Greenlee: Pretend like it never happened. I know I said Ryan's name.

Aidan: You said a little bit more than Ryan's name.

Greenlee: And I know how much it must have hurt to hear, but I don't want Ryan's child. I don't.

Aidan: It's just the fever talking.

Greenlee: And it was Kendall. She's been pushing me to spend more time with him. For some reason, she's got it in her head that I'm the only one that can help him through Annie's miscarriage.

Aidan: Well, Ryan is in need of a friend right now.

Greenlee: I know how hard it is to lose a baby, but Ryan's got to get through it in his own way and in his own time. And I'm not going to put my marriage on hold while he figures out what that is. I can't. It wouldn't be fair to either of us.

J.R.: Any more guns lying around this house we should know about?

Adam: No, it was an isolated incident. It has been rectified. There's no further cause for concern.

J.R.: Oh, the hell there isn't. You left a gun where my son could find it.

Adam: It was an error in judgment.

Babe: That could have killed Little Adam.

Adam: If he'd tried to swallow it, yes, just like your engagement ring. But, no, the gun was empty, not loaded.

J.R.: And that makes it ok?

Adam: No, of course not. But it just points out that precautions had been taken.

Babe: Yeah, well, not enough.

J.R.: I want all guns out of this house tonight. Otherwise, we'll take Little A, and you'll never see him again.

Tad: Hey. How's Little Adam?

Krystal: Oh, halfway to dreamland. Kathy, too.

Tad: How's the Mrs.? How's she holding up?

Krystal: If I never have another night like this, it will be too soon. Mm.

Tad: Oh, is that better?

Krystal: Oh, getting there. How about you? Did you find Jesse?

Tad: Yeah, yeah, I did.

Krystal: And?

Tad: And I think, from now on, you and I just best stay out of it. Honey, hey, listen. Listen, it's complicated, all right? Really complicated. But he's a good man. He's in a tough situation. But I give you this much, Jesse is finished keeping secrets.

[Door unlocking]

Jesse: Wow, you look amazing.

Angie: Thank you. Well, it's too bad that you had to work and miss out on all the excitement. Um, here I thought I was going to some old stuffy cocktail party, and the next thing I know, Annie Lavery is doing a Heimlich on Little Adam.

Jesse: Baby, come here. Have a seat.

Angie: What's wrong?

Jesse: I just want to talk about the time I was gone.

Angie: I've been trying to get you to open up for months. You kept saying it wasn't important, that what happened back then wouldn't change anything between us.

Jesse: Well, I hope it won't. I love you more than anything, Angela. You know that, right?

Angie: Jesse, you're starting to scare me. What's going on?

Jesse: When I had to leave town back then, I never thought we'd have another chance. Leaving you and Frankie behind the way I had to, I mean, really, really messed me up. I had no other choice. I, um -- it was the only way I could keep you safe.

Angie: I know all this. What aren't you telling me?

Jesse: There was someone else. A woman I met, years later.

Angie: Well, you said that you always ran before you made any connection.

Jesse: Yeah, well, this was one connection I didn't run from, and she's the one that's been calling and hanging up.

Angie: You've been home a while, Jesse. Why now? What does she want?

Jesse: She -- she wants me to come back. I told her that would never happen, and I would never lose you again. And she just doesn't want to accept it.

Angie: Well, if it is over --

Jesse: It is over, I promise you. I put an end to it a long time ago.

Angie: Why didn't you tell me all this when the calls first started?

Jesse: She didn't -- I didn't want to hurt you. We just found our way back. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. Please, please understand this.

Angie: Yes, I'm trying to. I am. But who is she? Where is she?

Jesse: It doesn't matter.

Angie: It doesn't matter?

Jesse: Baby, I've got you back now. And I've never stopped loving you. I know you believe that. This woman is not a threat to us. She just -- well, she just helped me get through some really tough times when I couldn't be with you.

Angie: Well, 20 years is a long time. And we both had other lives, other loves.

Jesse: Nothing, nothing, nothing like this. Not even close.

Angie: I know.

Jesse: This is it for me. Baby, you are the only woman I will ever want.

Angie: I love you, Jesse. And I can handle anything as long as you're honest.

Jesse: Always, baby.

Frankie: All right, keep them closed.

Randi: They've been closed since we left the party, Frankie. Why can't you just tell me where we're going? And I promise I'll act surprised.

Frankie: All right, open up your eyes and see for yourself. Voila! Well? What do you think?

Randi: How did you do this?

Frankie: Jake. He and Amanda had to bail out on the engagement party to handle some problems down at ConFusion. I phoned in a favor to Jake. He ran up here and did what he could before we got up here. Now, I know it ain't much --

Randi: It's perfect. Thank you. No one's ever done anything like this for me before.

Frankie: Yeah, well, you deserve a whole lot more.

Randi: I have everything I want right here.

[Frankie and Randi kiss]

Randi: Wait. I can't.

Frankie: What's wrong?

Randi: I'm sorry, I should go.

Frankie: Randi, wait. Talk to me. If there's something I did to hurt you, I --

Randi: No, no, it's nothing like that. You've been nothing but good to me, Frankie.

Frankie: Then what just happened?

Randi: You're not like those other guys. You don't beat on me. You don't put me down. You actually make me feel like I'm worth something.

Frankie: That's because you are. You are. When I look at you, I don't see a hooker. I see a survivor, a woman who gave everything she had to put that life behind her. I want to help you. Let me, please. I love you, Randi.

Randi: That's what I'm afraid of. I don't want to let you down.

Frankie: Oh, baby, you couldn't do that.

Randi: I had sex for money, Frankie. I don't know the first thing about making love. How messed up is that?

Annie: You know, if this is your idea of an apology, it could use some work.

Adam: You can save your moral outrage for somebody who might buy it. You and I both know that you're responsible for that gun being in your room.

Annie: Then why take the blame?

Adam: It's calling paying it forward. You saved my grandson's life, and so I pulled your feet from the fire, and none too soon, either, because Lavery was about to string you up, and Kendall had already cast the first stone.

Annie: Well, Kendall is just jealous. She is going to do whatever it takes to keep me out of Ryan's life.

Adam: Oh, really? You expect me to believe that she came in here, went into a locked safe, stole the gun, stashed it in your room, for the sole purpose of proving you're a bad mother.

Annie: Adam, what would I have to gain by leaving a gun in my own bedroom, huh? Nothing. Kendall probably put it there. She's been desperate to destroy my marriage. And you know what? If she keeps this up, she's going to lose Zach, too.

Adam: Yeah, and lose her company. If Kendall is distracted, she won't know until it's too late that Fusion is being stolen right out from under her.

Erica: What about Fusion?

Adam: Ah.

Zach: It's late. Who are you calling?

Kendall: Jack. Annie's latest stunt just gave you leverage to file for and win sole custody of Emma.

Zach: Adam said he's the one put the gun in the room.

Kendall: He's lying.

Zach: How do you know that?

Kendall: You're going to take Adam Chandler's word as gospel?

Zach: No, all I'm doing is asking some questions, the same as the court will. You know what I don't want? Some big custody battle that Emma's involved in. I don't think anybody wants that.

Kendall: Well, he's not going to let her get away with this. Are you? Ryan, you have to press charges. It's the only way to protect Emma.

Zach: Kendall. We've got to be careful. This could get ugly.

Kendall: Could? It already is. Annie has become a complete whack job. I mean, her idea of responsible parenting is keeping a gun in the same room her daughter sleeps in. We've got to do something.

Ryan: We aren't going to do anything. I'm going to handle this myself, Kendall.

Kendall: How?

Ryan: Please stay out of my business.

Greenlee: Kendall can hide behind Ryan's problems all she wants, but I'm done letting her drag me into it. Why she ever thought that I could swoop in and make everything all right is beyond me.

Aidan: You and Ryan have a lot of history.

Greenlee: History, as in past tense.

Aidan: Let me finish.

Greenlee: No, no, I want to focus on the future. You and me, no looking back.

Aidan: Greenlee, I need to say this, all right? I need you to hear it. You and Ryan have a lot of history. I can't take that away. I mean, even if I could, I wouldn't want to, because it made you who you are today, all right? And for that, I will always be grateful. If you hadn't spent that time with Ryan, I wouldn't have this strong-willed, passionate, unbelievably sexy woman I love and adore and plan to spend the rest of my life with.

Kendall: What?

Zach: Whatever you're thinking...

Kendall: Don't worry. I'm not thinking of ways to take Annie down. I was actually just thinking that you are right about me. If it's not Ryan's life, it's Greenlee's life I'm meddling in. I guess somehow I've convinced myself that I'm helping, but all I'm really doing is pushing away the people that I care about. When it comes down to it, Annie is Ryan's wife, and I don't need to be involved in trying to fix things in their marriage, especially if it's going to cause problems in ours. I'm sorry, Zach. I know you've been trying to tell me about this for weeks.

Zach: I think it's ironic it took Ryan to make you see that.

Ryan: It's ok, baby. It's ok. Daddy's here, and he's never going to let you go again, ever.

Adam: Erica, I thought you'd gone home.

Erica: Well, my goodness, what kind of a date would I be if I just left without saying goodnight? And besides, you haven't told me, what were you saying about Fusion?

Adam: Um --

Annie: Actually I was just telling Adam how proud he should be of his soon-to-be daughter-in-law. Babe's really turned her heart into Bella, and I can't wait for it to be released nationwide.

Adam: Yeah, neither can I.

Annie: Yeah.

Erica: Adam, I didn't know you had such a interest in discount fragrance.

Adam: Well, I have an interest in anything that turns a profit for this family. And if the numbers -- preliminary numbers are accurate at all, Babe's going to be a very wealthy woman. But enough about business. I was very rude to you. I want to get back to our date.

Annie: You know, I'm going to go check on Emma.

Adam: Ok. This is hardly the way I expected this evening to turn out, but how can I make it up to you?

Erica: I'm sure that you'll think of something, Adam, and when you do, you call me.

Babe: I was worried that Little A wouldn't be able to get to sleep after what happened, but Mama said he went right down.

J.R.: I think he slipped into a sugar coma after all that ice cream.

Babe: I couldn't say no. I was just so happy he could be here with us. You know, when I think about what could have happened to our little boy --

J.R.: Little A is a lot tougher than we think. He has to be. He's a Chandler. We're born fighters.

Babe: I just don't know what I would do if anything ever happened to him. Or you. Our family means everything to me.

J.R.: You know, I thank God every day that you were willing to give me another chance. Being your husband and Little... Little A's dad, it's all I can ask for.

J.R.: Babe Carey, will you marry me? Take that as a yes?

Babe: Yes, you know I will.

Annie: Ryan, no! No, you cannot take her.

Ryan: Move.

Annie: Ryan, do not do this. Emma needs me.

Ryan: Get out of my way, Annie.

Babe: Annie?

Annie: Don't let him take her.

J.R.: Hey, you leave with Emma, you're not going to make it past the gate. Security will be all over you.

Ryan: You cannot keep me from my own daughter, J.R.

J.R.: Just put her down, Ryan.

Ryan: Try and stop me.

Emma: Daddy, where are we going?

Ryan: Oh, hey, hey, sweetie. It's ok. You go back to sleep. We're just -- I'm taking you home, ok? And no one better try and stop me.
