Kendall: Whoo, Nellie. Well, I take it everything's ok with us then, right? Right.
Kendall: We can move on from everything and we'll be ok. I mean, it got crazy for awhile, but we can forgive and forget, right, Zach?
Zach: If you ask me to forgive the last few days, I can't do that.
Kendall: No, I'm not asking that. But we just made love and it was amazing.
Zach: Always is.
Kendall: But you're still angry about Josh.
Zach: A lot of things.
Kendall: Well, Zach, I mean, I had no idea what you were going to do to him. I had to protect my brother.
Zach: Mm-hmm, with a little help from your friends.
Kendall: That's what this is about. Ryan.
Ryan: Are you kidding me? Get off of me.
Babe: Ryan, stop it, ok? Stop.
J.R.: Look, Annie doesn't want you seeing Emma right now, Ryan.
Ryan: I am her father. Get your hands off me.
J.R.: The judge who granted Annie's restraining order knows exactly who you are, too.
Ryan: Ok, look, Annie's angry, ok? She's hurt. There is no basis at all for this restraining order, none, and she knows that.
Adam: Annie may be stretching the truth right now.
Ryan: Stretching the truth?
Adam: She has obtained a legal and binding document.
Ryan: I don't care what she's obtained, Adam. I don't care. Nothing will keep me from my little girl, all right? Are you kidding me with this? Are you kidding me? Why don't you just get on the phone, call the cops. I know you'd love to see me in jail, Adam, go ahead.
Adam: I have no intention of calling the police. My men will release you the minute you calm down.
Ryan: My daughter is upstairs in bed, sleeping next to my pregnant wife.
Adam: Yes, precisely, precisely. They are in a very fragile state right now. Now think long and hard, do you really want to go barging into that room and let them see you the way that you are right now?
Greenlee: Is someone there? Hello? Oh, my God.
[Screaming on TV]
[Cell phone ringing]
Jake: Smythe, what do you want?
Greenlee: Get over here quick. I think someone broke in my apartment.
Adam: Thank you for your assistance, gentlemen. That will be all for now.
Ryan: Yeah, thank you very much, gentlemen. You've been fantastic.
Adam: What are you doing here? I told you, Colby is staying overnight with a friend of hers.
Pete: Yeah, I know, but I thought, you know, with all the action you might, you know, need my help.
Ryan: I don't know what Annie has told you, ok? I have no idea. But I have never, ever hit her.
Babe: I want to believe you, Ryan, but the bruises?
Ryan: I didn't give her the bruises.
J.R.: Of course, you're not going to admit it.
Ryan: Look, guys, this is her way to get back at me.
Babe: Don't you think that's a little extreme?
Ryan: Yes, I do, I think it's very extreme which is why I'm here. I wouldn't be here otherwise, ok? Look, I know it's crazy. I know it sounds a little bit crazy, but this is not the first time Annie has lied to me, ok? She's been playing games for months now.
Adam: That's rather hard to believe, don't you agree?
J.R.: Yeah, well, you know, everything's been pretty normal here. I mean, as far as Annie's concerned.
Adam: She's polite, courteous, she's been the perfect house guest. And I know, I know Annie has been a little bit troubled lately, thanks to the fact that her marriage is falling apart, and the incessant drama with Greenlee and Kendall.
Ryan: This is about me, my daughter, and my wife, ok? Leave Kendall and Greenlee out of this.
Kendall: Admit it, you are mad because I went to Ryan for help. Then why did you hire him to work for you?
Zach: Ryan's making good on someone else's crime. You don't have a problem with that, do you?
Kendall: No, what I have a problem with is you making me guess what you're thinking. Zach, what are you doing with Ryan? I mean, is this a keep your enemies closer thing? It is, of course, it is. You don't have a problem with the fact that I helped Josh. You have a problem with the fact that Ryan helped me do it and so did Aidan.
Zach: Wow, got it all figured out. Ok, great, thanks for that. Now I can get back to work.
Kendall: Oh, no, no, no, no, no, you don't get to shoo me out of your office again, no. You are clearly angry and frustrated, so let's deal with it.
Zach: You're right, I'm both those things.
Kendall: Right, because of what I did for Josh.
Zach: Because you went blatantly against my wishes.
Kendall: You were wishing for revenge on my brother.
Zach: Fine, and I get that that upsets you, but your brother stole from us. That doesn't bother you?
Kendall: Of course, it does, you know that.
Zach: Yeah, no I know that, but I guess our problems don't compare to anybody else's problems? Greenlee's problems, Annie's problems --
Zach: Ryan's problems, there you go. When are you going to let it go, when?
Kendall: When are you going to let it go? This is me, Zach, this is who I am. And you knew that when you married me, for better or for worse. What do you want me to do? You're asking me to change?
Adam: Perhaps living here will change Annie.
J.R.: Oh, come on, Dad, will you stop talking like you know her?
Adam: For God's sake, she's been living under our roof, J.R.
J.R.: Yeah, for like two seconds.
Adam: Fine, I think maybe if she gets away from the chaos, it might give her a better perspective on things.
Ryan: Any idea when this better perspective might kick in, Adam?
Adam: Well, it takes time, Ryan. You said so yourself. She's been hurt, she's lashing out. She's, um, well, she's -- it's a gut reaction. And I'm sure once she sees that it's counterproductive, then she'll act accordingly.
Ryan: I don't know, maybe you're right.
Adam: Believe me, I speak from a wealth of experience.
Ryan: Ok, I guess there's nothing else for me to do here tonight.
Adam: Pete? Ryan, open that door.
J.R.: Where's your security now, Dad?
Adam: Out there somewhere. Security? Let us out of here.
Ryan: Annie? Annie, it's Ryan. I know it's late, but I really need to talk to you, ok? Annie? Annie, I'm coming in.
[Knocking at the door]
Greenlee: Who is it?
Jake: It's me.
Greenlee: How do I know?
Jake: Because you called me and now here I am knocking on the door, that's how.
Greenlee: Just say something so I know it's you.
Jake: Smythe, you're a pain in the ass. Can you open the door?
Greenlee: Thank you for coming. Aidan's out of town, so I'm here all alone.
Jake: What happened?
Jake: Really, nothing?
Greenlee: It's just now that you're here, I feel kind of stupid.
Jake: Mm, so what made you think that your apartment was broken into?
Greenlee: I just heard some noises.
Greenlee: But I was watching a movie so it could have been the TV. Aidan installed surround sound, but I didn't think I knew how to use it.
Jake: Then what happened?
Greenlee: That plant fell.
Jake: Was the window open the whole time?
Jake: Yeah, did you hear anything on the fire escape?
Greenlee: Nope, but again, could have been the TV.
Jake: Uh-huh, right, did you check the apartment to see if anything was missing or broken or gone?
Greenlee: Yeah, I didn't see anything.
Greenlee: I was totally overreacting, wasn't I? It was probably the wind.
Jake: Well, that's a hell of a wind that would knock this plant over.
Greenlee: Well, it's not the first time that I got spooked while I was alone. I'm sorry, I dragged you away from work and everything.
Jake: That's all right, my shift was up. Next time, you might want to call 911 though. They'll come a lot quicker.
Jake: And you might want to stop watching movies like "Dr. Terror and the House of Horrors"?
Greenlee: Here, peace offering?
Jake: Sure, twist my arm.
Jake: Ah, yeah. Dr. Terror, you think he went to med school? And if he did, which one?
Greenlee: So, what's going on with you and Amanda?
Jake: Anybody ever tell you you have the worst case of A.D.D.?
Greenlee: Come on. How serious is this?
Jake: The only person I know who could go from being terrified to being the ultimate queen of gossip.
Greenlee: Ultimate, are you kidding? I know someone far worse.
Zach: I know who I married, and I love everything about her.
Kendall: Even though she gets over-involved in other people's stuff?
Zach: Even though. I would just like for her to be involved in our stuff a little bit, too.
Kendall: Ok, I get that.
Zach: I don't want you to change. I like all this. I just want you to be honest with me, and next time you want to do something stupid just talk to me about it.
Kendall: Stupid, ok. Stupid like plotting revenge on your brother-in-law?
Zach: Stupid like sending him out of town without talking to me about it.
Kendall: Ok, well, I guess we both have things that we have to work on.
Zach: I'll put some time in if you will.
Kendall: Ok, I will. Complete and total honesty, it's got to go both ways.
Zach: Always only us.
Kendall: Only us, baby.
Zach: [Growls] Ok.
Kendall: So, are you coming home?
Zach: No, I got some stuff to do, and then I'll come see you.
Kendall: Ok, well, hurry up. Hurry, ok, because maybe you will get lucky and the boys will be up.
Zach: See you guys in a while.
Kendall: Mom, what are you doing here? What's wrong?
Erica: Nothing's wrong. I'm here to see you, but Zach can't know I'm here.
Kendall: Just what we need, more secrets.
Ryan: Hi, sweetheart. Oh, my goodness, I missed you so, so much.
Annie: Ryan, what are you doing here?
Adam: We're sorry for the interruption, Annie.
Ryan: We have to talk about this situation, Annie, and it couldn't wait until morning, ok?
Adam: Do you want me to call sec -- uh, someone?
Babe: Whatever you need, Annie.
J.R.: Just say the word.
Annie: I just need everybody to go away, please, ok? And Emma, it's past your bedtime.
Emma: I want to stay with Daddy.
Ryan: Oh, I want to stay with you, too, sweetheart, but I have an idea. How about you go downstairs and maybe Babe can get you some ice cream or something in the kitchen? How does that sound?
Babe: Come on, Emma, let's get you some ice cream.
Ryan: Ok, there you go.
Babe: What's your favorite flavor?
Babe: All right.
J.R.: I think we could probably dig some of that up. Coming, Dad?
Annie: Did you not get the restraining order, Ryan?
Ryan: Oh, I got it, Annie. I couldn't believe it, but I got it. Physical abuse? You -- you -- I didn't hurt you.
Annie: All you have done is hurt me.
Ryan: Yeah, that's not what I'm talking about, Annie, and you know it, ok? Come on, physical abuse, that's ridiculous.
Annie: It's already done.
Ryan: Look, I love my daughter. You will not keep me from her. Do you understand?
Annie: It's already done, Ryan.
Ryan: Annie, Annie? Annie, wait a minute. Hey, what's wrong?
Annie: Ryan, just go away. Ah, ah, ow!
Ryan: What is it? What's happening? Annie, Annie, what is it? Is it the baby, huh?
Annie: Something's wrong, help.
Ryan: Ok, ok, come on.
Pete: Psst, hey, come here.
Ryan: Where's Emma?
J.R.: She's in with Babe.
Ryan: Ok, great, I don't want her to see Annie like this.
J.R.: We've got it covered.
Adam: What happened?
Ryan: I don't know, I don't know what happened.
Annie: We need to get help, Ryan, the baby.
Ryan: It's all right, we're on our way.
J.R.: Just go, just go.
Jake: It's a drama-free relationship.
Greenlee: A drama-free relationship?
Jake: That's right, yeah.
Greenlee: I didn't know they existed.
Jake: Well, me either. But Amanda came along and she's cool, you know? It's very funny, actually, uncomplicated.
Greenlee: So far.
Greenlee: Give it time.
Greenlee: My friend.
Jake: Nice, so how's married life?
Greenlee: In a word, incredible, unpredictable. I didn't know I could love so intensely, Jake.
Jake: Well, that was really more than just one word. That was like 15 words.
Greenlee: Well, just take right now, for example. Aidan's been gone, what, a night? And I miss him already.
Jake: Well, newlywed bliss.
Greenlee: Although, we did get into our first married fight.
Jake: What did you fight about? Well, don't say -- if you say Ryan Lavery I'll throw myself out that window. Newlyweds should not be -- I will, right this second.
Greenlee: Ryan? No, I broke our one and only wedding present.
Jake: You guys fought over a wedding present?
Greenlee: Real crystal, Jake. It was important to me.
Aidan: Staying away from Ryan? You call that monumental?
Greenlee's voice: Yes, and I won't do it.
Jake: Well, note to self. Make sure I buy these two a whole lot of nice crystal.
[Cell phone ringing]
Jake: Oh, speak of the devil.
Jake: The other devil. What's up, Ryan?
Ryan: Something's happened to Annie. Just really, really intense cramps. I'm afraid that it's the baby.
Jake: Really, where are you?
Ryan: I'm taking her to the hospital right now. Will you please meet us there?
Jake: Sure, sure, I'm on my way.
Greenlee: What's going on? Is Ryan ok?
Jake: Yeah, yeah, it's Annie, actually.
Greenlee: The baby?
Jake: I think so. Are you coming or what?
Matt: We've got every available man looking for your brother-in-law. No leads yet, but we've narrowed the search to Europe. It's just a matter of time till we find him.
Zach: Call it off.
Zach: The search for Josh, call it off.
Matt: But I thought you wanted --
Zach: My brother-in-law's going to be looking over his shoulder for the rest of his life, wondering if I'm going to catch up with him. You ask me, that's not life at all.
Matt: Are you sure?
Zach: Matt? No one can know.
Erica: Do you know where Josh is?
Kendall: No, only Ryan does, and Aidan.
Erica: But where has Aidan taken him to? Is Josh going to be safe?
Kendall: Yes, yes, that's the point.
Erica: But what if I need to get in touch with him? I don't mean right now, but down the line.
Kendall: No, no, it's not an option.
Erica: Not an option? Look, Kendall, I know that what Josh did -- he made a terrible choice. What he did to Zach was wrong.
Erica: I feel partly responsible.
Erica: I could have handled things differently when I found out who Josh was.
Kendall: Yeah, well, so could he.
Erica: No, he was so angry, and he's still holding on to that, Kendall. I mean, what if he needs me? Or I need him?
Kendall: No, no.
Erica: Kendall, I would never tell a soul.
Kendall: No, no, Mother, no one can know where Josh is. He can't be found.
Erica: You mean you don't know either? Why not?
Kendall: Well, what if, for some crazy reason, you and I decided that we had to tell Zach?
Erica: I would never do that.
Kendall: No, I'm just saying, I'm just saying, humor me. What if we did? You know what would happen if Zach found out. The only way for Josh to stay safe is if he disappears forever.
Zach: As far as I'm concerned, Josh Madden doesn't exist.
Matt: Understood. You on your way out?
Zach: Yeah, going to spend some time with my family.
Matt: I was hoping to go over the casino numbers.
Zach: Well, if you have any problems with the casino, call Ryan Lavery. He's in charge.
Kendall: The last thing I need is another wedge between me and Zach. We're hanging on by a thread here, thanks to Josh's $20 million emotional issues.
Erica: Look, I'm so sorry about that. But your brother --
Kendall: He's gone, Mom, gone, but safe. And if you want him to stay that way, then we've got to move on with our lives and try to forget about him.
Erica: Well, I'm so glad that erasing your brother from your mind is going to be just such a quick walk in the park for you.
Kendall: I didn't say that.
Erica: Excuse me if I don't share that with you. It's not going to be so easy for me.
[Cell phone ringing]
Greenlee: Where are you?
Kendall: Uh, I'm on my way home, why?
Greenlee: You need to make a pit stop.
Kendall: Why, what happened?
Greenlee: It's Annie. Something with the baby. Ryan's taking her to the hospital right now.
Kendall: Ok, I'll be right there.
Annie: Do whatever you need to do. I can't lose this baby.
Adam: Yeah, all right. How's Emma?
J.R.: She's fine. Who were you calling?
Adam: Uh, I was just trying to get an update on Annie. Um... what?
J.R.: I'm just curious, that's all.
Adam: About -- about what?
J.R.: About your sudden bond with Annie Lavery.
Adam: Oh, um, well, she was just carted off to the hospital. I mean, excuse me for being concerned.
J.R.: No, this goes way beyond concern. First of all, you invite her to live here, and now you're defending her to Ryan, and now you're checking up on the baby. What's the deal, Dad?
Adam: There is no deal. Why must you always assume that I have an agenda?
J.R.: Because you always do. And what's up with Pete? What, is he moving in here, too?
Adam: What are you trying to say?
J.R.: He's a Cortlandt, Dad. That's all the more reason for you to blast him off this planet.
J.R.: So he's in your face all the time.
Adam: No, he's not in my face, he's in Colby's face. He's wooing her.
J.R.: And you're tolerating this why?
Adam: I've told you. I think he's a far better influence on your sister than her hit-and-run cronies.
J.R.: Pete Cortlandt? Good influence?
Adam: He's been accepted at Harvard. He's a very bright young man. And I think his interest in academia may well rub off on your sister, just the way your interest in business is rubbing off on Babe.
J.R.: Yeah, that's another thing you've done a whole 180 on.
Adam: Babe has proved herself. What she's done with that product, that perfume at Fusion? No, no, as far as I know, that's the only thing the entire cosmetic industry's talking about right now.
J.R.: Yeah, it's done a lot better than most people expected.
Adam: Yeah, well, stop worrying about what other people think, and, you know, revel in the fact that you were right. We didn't need some underwater scheme. What she has accomplished is the inroad to Fusion. What it can mean to both of you. Let me applaud your success.
J.R.: I know you too well, Dad. The only person you ever applaud is yourself.
Adam: Oh, my God. Are you still here?
Pete: C-man, wow. You are good. You almost had me believing that crock.
Adam: Have I almost seen the last of you?
Pete: J.R. has no idea that you're going to snag Fusion so you can stick it to him.
Pete: But it wasn't, you know, total baloney. What you said about me being good for Colby, that part was true.
Adam: Don't believe everything you hear.
Erica: Oh. Jack?
Erica: Jack, I am so glad that you're here. Jack, Josh is in terrible trouble.
Jack: Erica, before you get started --
Erica: I mean, really terrible, really serious. It has to do with casinos. Zach is furious with Josh, and I don't blame him.
Jack: What, is Josh gambling? Does he owe Zach money? What's going on?
Erica: No, it's worse than that. Josh had to leave the country. He's gone.
Erica: He's gone, and I have no idea where he is. The only thing I know is that apparently Ryan asked Aidan to take Josh to someplace safe.
Jack: Safe? Safe from what? Safe from Zach?
Carmen: Hey, Superstar, what's shaking?
Erica: Oh, how silly of me here, to think that you would be alone.
Jack: Well, I didn't have a chance --
Carmen: You look upset, Erica. Someone mess with you? You want me to kick some ass?
Erica: No, no, really, thank you.
Jack: Babe, Erica was just wanting to talk to me about a family problem.
Carmen: Is it Kendall? Bianca? Are they all right? Anything I can do, just say the word, I'm there.
Erica: Please, no, no, no, nothing you can do. Please just -- just stop.
Doctor: Have you had any spotting?
Doctor: What about cramping? And weakness, fever, vomiting?
Ryan: Well, she was sweating a lot, and also she got a cramp and collapsed.
Doctor: Ok, how severe is the cramping?
Doctor: Can you give me a level, 1 to 10?
Annie: Eight, I don't know.
Ryan: Hey, Jake, thank you for coming so quickly.
Jake: Not a problem.
Ryan: Appreciate it, man.
Jake: How you feeling?
Annie: Not good.
Jake: What are we dealing with?
Doctor: Ah, well, it's too early to tell for sure, Dr. Martin. Can you prepare cubicle 2 for a pelvic and a sonogram, and I'm going to need a blood workup for HCG levels. Annie, we're going to try to move you now, ok?
Ryan: Ok, let's go.
Annie: No, Ryan. You shouldn't be here. We're not your problem any more.
Ryan: Annie, come on.
Annie: Just leave me alone.
Jake: She didn't mean that. Just hang around. I'm going to keep you in the loop, ok?
Ryan: Ok, thanks, Jake. Thank you. Hey.
Ryan: How -- how'd... what are you doing here?
Greenlee: I thought you might need someone.
Babe: Goodness gracious. Emma, do you think you could take this over to the basket for me? Thank you. So, any word on you-know-who?
J.R.: Well, my dad called the hospital, but they wouldn't tell him anything.
Babe: Wow, Adam sounds legitimately concerned.
J.R.: It's weird, right?
Babe: Maybe, or maybe this is the new and improved Adam Chandler.
J.R.: Doubtful. My dad is up to something, I can just feel it. Oh, let's see. [Grunting] Can't get that one. It's too heavy. Can you get that for me, Emma? Thank you.
Babe: So, what were you guys talking about before?
J.R.: Mm-hmm, my dad was going on and on about how impressed he was with you, and Bella. He says that you are our ticket to Fusion.
Babe: You still don't believe him.
J.R.: I want to.
J.R.: But I'm just not buying it. His concern for Annie, his over-the-top support for you, and don't even get me started on Pete.
Babe: What does he have to do with anything?
J.R.: I don't know, but whatever my dad's doing, he's using Annie and Pete to do it.
Pete: The only reason I'm helping you --
Adam: Is to get your grubby little hands on Colby, I know.
Pete: No, no. No, you've got it all wrong.
Pete: I'm really into Colby.
Adam: Well, you sure as hell better get out of Colby in a hurry, or you won't live to see another Bunsen burner, are we clear?
Pete: All I want is to spend time with your daughter.
Adam: Fine. If hell freezes over and Colby agrees, then maybe I'll stick to my word and not interfere.
Pete: Thank you.
Pete: So, how do you think Annie's doing?
Adam: I thought we were talking about Colby.
Pete: Well, I know, it's just, I mean, did you see the look in her eyes when her husband just carried her out of there? She looked so scared.
Adam: Yeah, and she's way out of your league.
Pete: What? No, I didn't mean it like that.
Adam: Yeah, she's a very handsome woman, I grant you that. But you -- you get sucked in by Annie's innocence, she'll prey on your weakness and use it against you.
Adam: Yeah, she's a woman. Women are not to be trusted.
Pete: Why not?
Adam: [Laughs] Just look at yourself. Hypnotized by Colby's charms, reduced to tears by Annie's innocence, her plight. They've reduced you to putty.
Pete: I bet you wouldn't let that happen to you, right?
Adam: No, no, I'm too smart and aware. You know, basically impenetrable by female seduction.
J.R.: You're still here?
Pete: I -- I forgot my backpack.
J.R.: Yeah, whatever.
J.R.: Well, goodnight, Dad.
Adam: Goodnight, J.R., Babe.
Adam: Sweet dreams, Emma.
Adam: Perfect. Perfect example. He would follow that bimbo to the moon and back, and that would prove to be his downfall.
Pete: But J.R. loves Babe.
Adam: Precisely. Love complicates everything. Everything. If you're smart, you'll steer clear of it.
Jack: There's no reason to take this out on Carmen.
Erica: Jack, this is not about Carmen. I -- I guess I made a big mistake. I guess I thought you would still care about Josh, about my son.
Jack: Come on, that is not what's going on here.
Erica: No, really, I will -- I will find someone else who can help me.
Carmen: You know, I'll just let you guys talk in private.
Erica: Thank you.
Jack: You know Carmen meant well.
Jack: Ok, so there's no reason to take any shots at her.
Erica: Please, Jack, I am just concerned about Josh at this moment.
Jack: You think I don't realize that? You think I don't really concern about your son?
Erica: He's gone, Jack, he's gone. Maybe forever. Do you think maybe we should go somewhere else to talk about this?
Jack: I think maybe not. I tell you what, though. I'll clear my calendar and tomorrow morning, we can sit down, and we can sort this all out, ok?
Erica: Oh, this was a huge mistake.
Jack: Erica, listen to me. If Aidan has stashed Josh somewhere, then he is safe. There is no immediate danger.
Erica: I really thought you'd understand. I really thought that in spite of all of our problems, that you would still be there for me, especially at a time like this. Especially on a day like this.
Jack: Erica, can we --
Carmen: Erica, wait. You should just go after her. She seems really upset.
Jack: No, no, I'm not going to go after her. What did she mean, "A day like today?"
Carmen: You forgot what today is?
Greenlee: Seven years. Unbelievable. I swear, sometimes it seems like it just happened.
Ryan: It kind of makes your problems feel a little bit smaller, doesn't it?
Greenlee: My problems, yes. Yours? I mean, come on, Ryan, look where we are.
Ryan: I know.
Greenlee: What happened?
Ryan: Annie didn't stop at taking Emma and moving out. She decided to get a restraining order against me.
Ryan: She doesn't want me anywhere near her or Emma.
Greenlee: On what grounds? The bruises.
Ryan: She showed them to you? It wasn't me, Greenlee. It wasn't -- I mean, I got angry when she took Emma and she moved out, and we fought a little bit about it, but I would never lay a hand on Annie, never. You don't believe her, do you?
Greenlee: I didn't know what to think, but I know you would never lie to me, not about that.
Ryan: No, I wouldn't. She went for blood, Greenlee. She took my kids, which mean more to me than anything in the world, and she took my past, which haunts, and she wrapped them together and then just hit me with it.
Greenlee: She knew what would hurt you the most. So, what did you do when you found out?
Ryan: I freaked out. You know, I went into Chandlers' and I burst into the bedroom. I just was so stupid.
Greenlee: Why? What she's doing is wrong, Ryan.
Ryan: I know, but that's when she collapsed, and now we're here, and I don't know what's going on, because she won't let me in the room. I should have just -- I should have just waited it out.
Greenlee: Waited for what? Life can change in an instant, Ryan. We all have to be there for each other while we still can. You have to be there. Emma, Spike, the baby, they need you, no matter what Annie says. Every kid needs their father.
Rachael: Slater residence.
Zach: Rachael, I thought you'd be gone already.
Rachael: No, Kendall called and asked if I could stay late.
Zach: Did she say why?
Rachael: Mm, something about having to check on someone in the hospital.
Ryan: It has to be ok, right? I mean, it has to. I honestly don't think Annie could handle another loss.
Greenlee: What about you?
Ryan: It's like I don't even know what to think. I don't, but -- but Annie, if you think about what she's going through, she, you know, Julia and Richie and us. If we lose this baby, I honestly don't know what she would do, I don't know. You talk about kids needing their father, but, I mean, Emma needs her mom, too.
J.R: All right, one more story and then you have to go to bed, ok? Is that a deal?
J.R.: All right. All right, "Peasant Princess." You want to see what she's up to?
J.R.: Yeah, so do I. Ok, let's see here. "There once was a peasant girl who lived in a small town. She worked long and hard but never wore a frown. One day, a handsome prince rode on through. He was searching for a wife took one look and said, It's you. So, he whisked her away to his castle on the hill. But once there, she only sat on the sad windowsill."
Babe: "For months the peasant girl planned to run away. But the prince, warm and patient sang her songs every day till she just couldn't help it and the two fell in love. They laughed and sang and danced and thanked the stars above."
J.R: "It doesn't matter what you have. It doesn't matter where you live --"
Babe: "What matter most of all is love, a treasure that is ours to give."
J.R.: You know what? I like this one.
Babe: Sound familiar, huh? Am I your little peasant girl?
J.R: [Laughs] Now, you know what? You're my best friend, you're my partner, you're the love of my life. But the book was right on about one thing.
J.R.: Every time I'm with you, I want to laugh, dance, and sing.
Babe: And thank the stars above.
Jack: Hey, what?
Carmen: Check your phone. Erica call back?
Jack: Carmen, I'm not going to check my phone to see if Erica called, ok? I'm not going to do it.
Carmen: Yeah, well, she seemed pretty ticked.
Jack: Yeah, she was angry at me. You know, I'm not even sure that there is some kind of a family problem. I think she didn't come here to get my advice so much as she came here to get my undivided attention. I'm not going to do it. Look, the problem is that when Erica gets ticked off like this, it's when she gets in trouble.
Erica: Josh is in trouble, and I need your help.
Adam: In trouble with whom?
Erica: Zach Slater.
Adam: Oh, in that case, you're going to leave me out of it.
Erica: Since when do you walk away from a fight, Adam?
Adam: Since it involves your brooding son-in-law. I have too much on my plate as it is.
Erica: That's it? You're not even going to hear me out?
Adam: Well, I've heard you. Goodnight, Erica.
Erica: Wait just a second.
Adam: No, no, no.
Erica: Aren't you even going to invite me in?
Adam: Uh, no, no, I'm not.
Ryan: I really appreciate you being here, Greenlee, but you don't have to stay.
Greenlee: Yes, I do.
Jake: So, Annie's about to have her sonogram.
Ryan: Ok, is she --
Jake: Why don't you just get in there?
Kendall: What the hell is going on?
Greenlee: What, did you just drop from the ceiling?
Kendall: No, I saw the two of you, looked like you were having a moment, so I didn't want to interrupt.
Greenlee: Annie's in bad shape.
Greenlee: She might lose the baby.
Kendall: Right, like the last time she pulled this stunt and the time before that? Please, give me a break.
Greenlee: Where are you going?
Kendall: I'm going to put an end to this right now. I'm sick of her doing this.
Zach: No, you're not. Not another step.
Kendall: Ok, you're here to drag me home by my hair, aren't you?
Zach: I'm here to support our friends.
Annie: Please don't let my baby die.
