Tad: So, then, the fairy princess jumped on her four-wheeler, so she could do doughnuts in the backyard.
Kathy: That's not what it says.
Tad: It doesn't? Are you sure?
Tad: Hmm. Hi, baby.
Krystal: Hey. Hey. What are you two doing?
Tad: Oh, you know. The usual. Reading stories. Working on a sugar rush. You want a cookie?
Krystal: Uh, no. Kathy, are -- aren't you, uh, supposed to be headed out to camp?
Tad: Ah, well, Kathy wasn't feeling well this morning, so we decided that camp could take a hike, right?
Krystal: Yeah, but, I mean, you're all signed up, honey. They're expecting you.
Kathy: I don't want to go to camp.
Tad: It's ok, sunshine. You don't have to go, if you don't feel like it.
Krystal: Or maybe you should give it a shot, Kathy. I mean -- camp -- camp is fun. I think you'll have a great time once you get there.
Kathy: No, I'm not going, and you can't make me.
Krystal: That's just perfect, Tad. Thank you. Thanks a lot.
Pete: You should also ask him to polish up that front fender. There's something splattered on it. I think it's blood.
Colby: What did you say?
Dré: Cortlandt, dude. You don't know what you're talking about.
Pete: I'm pretty sure I know blood when I see it.
Colby: Who cares what's on the stupid car? We -- we were going to head outside. Do you want to come?
Pete: I thought you were on your way back in.
Cassandra: We were, but it's really nice outside.
Colby: Come with us, Pete. It'll be fun. I promise.
Pete: You know what will be more fun, Colby? If you let me in on your little secret.
Zach: Seriously. You think the cops were necessary?
Jesse: Would you have come with me, if I would have asked you nicely?
Zach: No, probably not.
Jesse: Yeah. They were necessary. I got a witness, Zach, that says that Richie told him you were the guy that beat him up and threatened to kill him.
Zach: And who is this witness? Annie Lavery? I guess it doesn't matter. So why are we here at this alleged scene of the crime?
Jesse: Well, your story is that you didn't kill the guy, right? So I need to know what did happen.
Zach: Told you what happened.
Jesse: Well, I guess I need you to show me then.
Ryan: Oh, God. Hey, sh -- she just took a hit in the back of the head!
Man: I'll alert the Coast Guard.
Ryan: What? No, there's no time for that!
Tad: I'm going to go check on Kathy.
Krystal: What -- wait. No, wait a minute, wait a minute. We -- we need to talk about this.
Tad: Why? It's just summer camp. It's not a big deal.
Krystal: Well, we made a decision to send her there, Tad, together.
Tad: Ok, we did. You're absolutely right. I just thought these were special circumstances. Maybe she needs a little more TLC.
Krystal: We agreed that this would be good for her, to go to camp, to meet new friends, and -- and play games --
Tad: And it will be good for her, tomorrow or the next day when she goes. Honey, she simply didn't want to do it. What was I supposed to do? Send her anyway?
Krystal: Uh, yeah.
Tad: Oh, Krystal. Have a heart, honey. She's scared.
Krystal: I know that, Tad. I -- I realize that. She has been through more things than most people could even bear.
Tad: Exactly. Exactly. That's why I thought she -- she simply needed a little extra attention.
Krystal: She gets attention, Tad. She gets a lot of attention.
Tad: Well, ok, fine. Just -- just go ahead. Say it. You think I'm spoiling her. Is that it?
Krystal: No, I don't think you're spoiling her, but I don't think you're helping her adapt by allowing her to stay hidden away up here in our house. Tad, listen. I would bake cookies for her and read her stories all day long, if I thought that would help her, but it's not. I mean, she -- she needs some normalcy in her life.
Tad: Now I'm not normal?
Krystal: No, I didn't say that, Tad. But, come on. I mean, we agreed that she needed to start her new life, which, today, means --
Tad: Summer camp
Krystal: Summer camp.
Tad: Summer camp. I got it.
Krystal: Do you? I mean, really, I mean, do I have a say in Kathy's life?
Tad: Honey, come on. Don't do that, all right? Of course, you have a say in her life. You know you do.
Krystal: Well, then, I need you to back me up, Tad. You saw her tear out of here. I don't -- I don't want her to see me as the evil stepmother.
Tad: I don't, either. On the other hand, it would be a lot easier to be the fun one.
Krystal: I know. It would be --
Krystal: But we -- a team, ok?
Tad: I agree, all right, ok.
Krystal: We have to make decisions together.
Krystal: We're clear on that?
Krystal: Ok. Hi. Can I help you?
Carmen: I think so. I need to talk to you about Mr. Chandler.
Annie: What, Kendall? You still haven't come up with a snappy comeback? How do you know Zach didn't kill Richie?
Kendall: Because he said he didn't. That's why.
Annie: Oh, well, in that case --
Kendall: I believe my husband, Annie.
Annie: I don't know why. It's not like you guys haven't kept secrets from each other before.
Kendall: Wow. Oh, my God. What -- what in the hell happened to you? We all used to be friends, remember? When did you decide to turn against us?
Annie: I am not against you, Kendall.
Kendall: Are you serious?
Annie: Look. You said it yourself. What I said earlier to Jesse, it's hearsay. He knows that it's not going to hold up in court.
Kendall: No. No, you already put it out there. It's out there. It's done. It's over.
Annie: Zach found Richie's body. You know he's already the number one suspect.
Kendall: Oh, ok. So what's one more nail in the coffin? Is that it?
Annie: No, I'm just saying the police were already looking into Zach way before I mentioned anything to Jesse.
Kendall: That doesn't make it ok to stab him in the back.
Annie: He might have killed my brother, Kendall.
Kendall: So what? I mean, really, Annie. So what? Richie was evil and manipulating. He was complete and total scum. And I'm happy he's dead. Because the world is a safer place. If anyone should know that, it's you.
Ryan: Come on!
Ryan: Greenlee! We're going to get you out of here.
Kendall: So choose. It's Greenlee or me.
Ryan: Will you marry me?
Greenlee: To finding love again, wherever it may hide.
Annie: You must be Erin's brother, Ryan?
Greenlee: You're free, Ryan. I'm letting you go.
Ryan: Will you take me as your husband? Will you marry me? To my magical wife and chapter after chapter after chapter after chapter after chapter --
Man: That's your son.
Ryan: Wait until you hear how many people love you. I can put a little ice cream on my nose, like, oh, I see a little smile. Ladies and gentlemen, fresh from our tour of the heavens, the most scintillating aerial artist ever to challenge the clouds, the one, the only, the magnificent green butterfly!
Greenlee: Thank you!
Annie: Who the hell is Greenlee? And where do you get off handing her a piece of my life?
Ryan: It's ok. I'm here. I'm real. I love you.
Greenlee: Don't you get it, Ryan? I love you, too. He took you. Even if I don't say the right thing to make it hurt less, I'm here. I'll always be here.
Ryan: Yeah, as a friend. And as a husband. And as a lover, and as whatever else you can think of, Greenlee. I love you.
Greenlee: Goodbye, Ryan.
Ryan: Greenlee! Hey! Greenlee! Greenlee? Greenlee, are you -- are you ok? Greenlee. Oh, God. Oh, God, ok. I got you, I got you. It's me. It's all right. Huh? All right? Oh, thank God, ok. I got you, I got you. I'm not going to let you go. Not this time. Not this time, ok? Come on, I got you.
Krystal: I'm sorry. You are --
Carmen: My name is Carmen Morales.
Tad: Oh! Hey, we spoke on the phone. Ok, come on in, come on in.
Krystal: Uh, hi.
Carmen: I work for Mr. Chandler.
Tad: You have my deepest sympathies.
Krystal: Oh, right. I remember. I was a wreck. I -- I was so worried about my daughter, um, I'd like to forget the whole thing.
Carmen: You used to be married to Adam, right? I need to know how to run his house.
Tad: That -- well, there's -- I'm sorry. As fascinating as I know this is going to be, I think I'm going to go check on Kathy, do some damage control.
Krystal: Yeah, yeah.
Tad: Ok. Excuse me. I'm Tad, by the way.
Carmen: Oh. See you later, "Tad, by the way."
Tad: New guy for the act. I like her already.
Krystal: Listen. If this is about what you saw --
Carmen: Oh, don't worry. Uh, the thing I saw you do with Mr. Chandler, I didn't see it.
Krystal: Thank you.
Carmen: But that was one hot and steamy you-know-what.
Krystal: [Whispering] No. That was not a "hot and steamy" anything.
Carmen: What's the deal? What happened with you and the Silver Bullet?
Krystal: How much time do you have?
Carmen: Oh, one of those. Boy, have I been there.
Krystal: Well, then, you know. It doesn't make a lick of difference what happened or what went wrong. The only thing that matters is that I am here now.
Zach: Jesse, I'm here. What do you need?
Jesse: I need you to walk me through the events of the evening. Step by step, please, starting with when you got to the cabin.
Zach: Ahem. Ok. When Aidan and Junior and myself got there, the girls had Richie tied up.
Jesse: But he wasn't?
Zach: Not for long, no. We got inside, and he was gone.
Jesse: So, then, what did you do?
Zach: We were looking for him inside the cabin, then outside. Couldn't find him. And the girls were scared, so everyone wanted to go home.
Jesse: Everyone but you.
Zach: Everyone but me. I went looking for Novak. Junior was taking care of Babe, and Aidan was taking care of Kendall and Greenlee until you got there.
Jesse: Then you figured you'd take care of Novak.
Zach: Yes. And I got in the car and headed north. Quickest way out of town, Jesse.
Jesse: So you're driving along. You're looking for Novak.
Zach: And, then, I saw him, face down on the road. That's when I called you. He wasn't breathing. Hey, if I had found him, who knows? But I wasn't sorry.
Jesse: And that's it? You didn't see anything else? No car, no person, nothing?
Zach: No, that's it. That was weird. It's funny. I was looking around. Then, wow, nice. Somebody took care of my troubles.
Colby: There's no secret, Petey!
Cassandra: We're not hiding anything.
Pete: Then why are you acting so weird?
Dré: Well, maybe because you came in here, talking about blood and fenders. I mean, does that sound normal to you?
Pete: I'm just telling you what I saw.
Colby: Ok, look. We'd been up at my dad's lodge, partying.
Pete: You guys were drunk?
Colby: I may have been overserved, but I wasn't driving.
Pete: Who was?
Pete: And you don't remember hitting anything?
Dré: Ah, I don't know, uh, maybe a bump, yeah.
Pete: A "bump"? Come on. How big a bump was it?
Cassandra: Look. We're in the middle of the woods, ok? I mean, it could have been anything. A -- a branch, a log --
Pete: Uh, logs don't bleed, last I checked.
Colby: Just drop it, ok?
Pete: I can check the blood on your fender for you, see what you hit.
Dré: Are you serious?
Pete: I took a Forensics class last semester. I have the equipment. It'll take two seconds. I'll go.
Colby: No! You can't.
[Annie sniffles then exhales]
Kendall: You're a -- you're a smart girl. I don't understand. Why would you do that? Were you protecting yourself?
Annie: From what?
Kendall: I don't know, Annie. You tell me. I mean, you -- you hate Richie just as much as any of us.
Annie: Hello? Yes, this is Annie Lavery. Yes, I'm Richie Novak's sister. Oh, ok. Ok. Thank you. I'll -- I'll be right there.
Man: Hey, how is she?
Ryan: She's breathing. Call 911!
Man: I already did. I'll make sure they're --
Ryan: Are they coming?
Man: Yeah, I'll make sure they can get through.
Ryan: Greenlee, the paramedics are coming, ok? You're going to be ok. You got to be ok. You have to be. Ok. Ok, good, good. You must've been laughing at me so much, huh? Lately, the fool I've been? It's been you. Greenlee, it's been you. I love you. I love you, Greenlee. Can you hear me? I love you. Hey. Ok, ok.
Tad: Hey. Mind if join you? Ok. It takes a little more work than it used to. I'm sorry, little one. Really. I am. I know how hard it can be when you turn around, and all of a sudden, your life is completely different. You know? Like, right now, with you, you're in a new house with new people. You got new rules to deal with and summer camp. That's going to take a little getting used to.
Kathy: I don't want to go to camp.
Tad: I know, baby, I know. But I think Krystal may be right on this one, you know? Sometimes with -- with life, you turn around, and you face your fear. You realize you're surprised by what happens. You know, I'll bet you anything. If you agree to go to camp, and you stick with it for a little while, you'll have a lot of fun. That's all I want. You know how much I love you, don't you?
Tad: Well, Krystal loves you very much, too. She loves both of us, which means we're going to have to listen to her, even if we don't want to.
Tad: Because I'm married to her. Goes with the dinner. No, see, she's -- I'm married to her, and she's Jenny's mother, and you're Jenny's sister, which means we're all connected, you know? We're family. One of the most important things about family is often one of the toughest. We have to respect each other, even when we don't feel like it. Ok?
Kathy: Ok. Does this mean I have to go to camp?
Tad: That -- whoo. I'll make you a deal. You come by it honestly. Um, we'll -- we'll play hooky for the rest of the day. All right? If you promise -- but you have to promise -- that you'll go to camp tomorrow. Is it a deal?
Tad: All right. Come on. Let's go upstairs and eat our cookies, all right? I'll get this. You first. Ah. Ok, baby.
Krystal: Ah, so, what's the deal? Is, uh, Adam giving you a hard time?
Carmen: Oh, he doesn't give me any time. Just barks something about learning how to take care of his place. That's about it.
Krystal: Yeah, well, that sounds like Adam. Well, if you need any help, Babe knows her way around Adam almost as much as I do.
Carmen: Mm. Babe's a sweetie. How do you know her?
Krystal: Oh, I'm -- I'm her mama.
Carmen: Get out!
Carmen: So Little Adam -
Krystal: That's my grandbaby.
Carmen: I had no idea.
Krystal: Oh, it gets better. J.R., uh, Adam's son, who lives in the mansion, that is also Tad's stepson.
Krystal: Mm-hmm. And -- and Colby --
Carmen: Uh, Mr. Chandler's daughter?
Krystal: Is Jenny's godmother.
Carmen: Whoa, whoa. Back up. Who's Jenny?
Krystal: Jenny is Tad and my baby. She's just a little over a year old now.
Carmen: Dios mio.
Krystal: Yeah. Tell me about it.
Carmen: So since they're practically related, does Tad and the Silver Bullet get along?
Krystal: Well, they really have sort of had a -- a truce lately, but most of the time, they want to kill each other.
Carmen: Hmm. So if Tad knew about --
Krystal: Knew about the little kiss, then, yeah. He would go nuts.
Carmen: Huh. And you're stuck in the middle.
Krystal: Smack dab.
Carmen: Whoo. I thought I hard it all with Erica's stories. But Mr. Chandler's mansion? That's like a real-life telenovela, right there.
Pete: Why don't you want me to test the blood?
Colby: Because there's no point, ok? We hit an animal.
Pete: So why didn't you just say that?
Dré: Well, because -- because Cass gets really upset about that kind of stuff, and, uh, we didn't want you to know what happened.
Cassandra: Oh, wait. So are you saying it wasn't a log? It was a living, breathing creature of the earth?
Colby: I'm sorry, Cass.
Pete: Wait, how do you even remember? I thought you said you were drunk.
Dré: Yeah, well, she'd sobered up by then. What's with all the questions?
Pete: So what kind of animal?
Dré: I don't know.
Pete: You don't know? Uh, why didn't you go back and check?
Colby: Aren't you listening? We were trying to keep it on the D.L.
Pete: So you didn't see anything?
Dré: It was a squirrel, ok?
Pete: A -- a squirrel? Yeah, a squirrel wouldn't cause that much blood, unless it were a vampire squirrel, and it had just had a big feeding.
Cassandra: Ok, can we please stop talking about this?
Colby: So maybe it was a chubby raccoon. It was dark out.
Pete: Colby, all I'm saying is, look at your car. Whatever you hit wasn't a squirrel or a raccoon. It had to be something bigger. Like --
Dré: Like what? What do you think we hit, Cortlandt?
Pete: You tell me.
Jesse: All right, Novak's probable cause of death was blunt-force trauma to the head.
Zach: Caused by a car.
Jesse: You'd think, out here in the middle of the road.
Zach: There's a "but," right?
Jesse: But. All right, listen. Check it out, check it out. If I'm Richie, and I'm running, and there's a car that comes up behind me, sees me, what would happen?
Zach: Well, if it was an accident, I hope somebody's going to hit the breaks.
Jesse: Bingo, no skid marks, nothing to indicate that the vehicle tried to avoid impact, but if it wasn't an accident -- all right, say -- say you're running, right, and you're running. You hear a car come behind you. What would you do?
Zach: I'll go hide in the woods.
Jesse: Richie didn't do that.
Zach: Or I'll turn around and see what's coming.
Jesse: In which case, the impact would've been to the front of the body. So why weren't there any defensive wounds?
Zach: Well, there was a lot of blood on the ground.
Jesse: That's from the head.
Zach: From where he hit his head on the ground.
Jesse: Yeah, it's possible. Could've -- could've been enough to put a killer-sized dent in the guy's head.
Zach: But you're not buying it?
Jesse: The autopsy says the guy was struck by a car. It doesn't add up for me.
EMT: How long was she unconscious?
Ryan: Oh, I -- I don't know. Like -- like 5, 10 minutes maybe. The boom hit her right in the back of the head, hard.
EMT: Her rate is 106 and weak.
Second EMT: Come on. Let's get her to the ambulance.
Ryan: Ok, I -- I'm going to come with you guys.
EMT: You her husband?
Ryan: Yes. Yes, I am. It's ok, it's ok.
Krystal: Adam's really not all that difficult. The most important thing to remember is not to let him bully you.
Carmen: Oh, I got that part covered. Nobody messes with Carmen Morales.
Krystal: Yeah, well, I'm sure Adam's going to have his hands full.
Carmen: What I need to know is what my duties are.
Krystal: Well, basically, you really just have to anticipate what Adam needs, and, uh, and, then, make him think it's his idea. Especially if it's something that he doesn't want to do.
Carmen: Sounds confusing.
Krystal: Well, it's -- it's not really.
Carmen: So what doesn't he want to do?
Krystal: Stop drinking. Or eat right. He's been having some problems with his heart, and he's been also having some anxiety attacks.
Carmen: Oh, he has those? Those are scary.
Krystal: Yeah. Of course, his first instinct is to go for the booze, and that just makes things worse.
Carmen: Oh. And the Silver Bullet doesn't want to eat healthy?
Krystal: No, no, but Lucretia, she knows what to cook for him. You just have to, uh, trick him into eating it. Uh, you know. Whole wheat bread, olive oil instead of butter, sautéing instead of frying. He doesn't know the difference. And -- and let him have some eggs, every now and then. For some reason, Adam thinks he's getting away with something when he eats eggs.
Tad: And that doesn't scare you half to death?
Krystal: Oh, hey. How's Kathy?
Tad: Good as new.
Krystal: Oh. That's Tad's daughter with Adam's ex, Dixie.
Krystal: Yeah, yeah, I know.
Carmen: So how does he like them?
Carmen: His eggs.
Krystal: Oh, uh, over easy with, uh, a dash of salt. Low sodium.
Carmen: Oh, which he doesn't know about, either?
Krystal: Not a clue.
Tad: Yeah, so what is this, huh? Crash course on how to survive Adam Chandler?
Krystal: Yeah, yeah. Pretty much.
Carmen: You got any tips?
Tad: Yeah. A dash of garlic, a sharp stick, and a mallet.
Officer: Can I help you?
Kendall: Uh, yeah, um, I'm -- I'm Kendall Slater. My husband Zach Slater was brought in a little while ago by Jesse Hubbard?
Officer: I haven't seen Chief Hubbard in hours. I've got no record of an arrest.
Kendall: Are you sure? His name is Zach Slater. He -- he wasn't brought in for processing?
Officer: I'm positive. I've been here all day.
Kendall: Well, that's weird. If they're not here, then where are they?
Zach: So you think Novak was killed by something other than a car?
Jesse: It's possible. I mean, we know the man died from a blow to the head, right?
Zach: Before the hit and run?
Jesse: Or after.
Zach: So what do you -- what do you think? Someone came back to finish him off?
Jesse: Or the two aren't even related, Zach.
Zach: All right. Uh, so, someone knocked him in the skull and then left him there for dead, and --
Jesse: And ran him over after the fact.
Zach: How do we find out?
Jesse: Evidence never lies, right?
Zach: That's what they tell me.
Jesse: So I need to go back to the source. I need to see Novak's body again.
Dré: I don't know what you think we hit, but, uh, I'm done with this conversation.
Colby: Yeah, me, too.
Pete: Fine, I'll drop it.
Cassandra: Let's go back outside.
Dré and Colby: Yeah.
Dré: I'll grab some sodas. Uh, you guys want anything from the kitchen?
Colby: Sure, soda.
Pete: I'm good. Thanks for asking. Oh, and, Dré, if you're going out to wash Colby's car, I wouldn't bother.
Dré: What are you talking about?
Pete: I tested that blood before I even rang the doorbell.
Colby and Dré: Why would you do that?
Pete: I thought you guys would want to know what you hit.
Dré: That's bull. You wanted to know. You know, I don't get you, man. It's -- it's roadkill. Who cares?
Pete: I guess I do.
Cassandra: Ok, so, what was with all the questions?
Colby: If you already knew, why didn't you just say something?
Pete: I was curious to see what your story was.
Dré: We don't need a story.
Pete: I think you do.
Colby: What are you talking about?
Pete: The blood on your car is human. And it totally belongs to Richie Novak, doesn't it?
Dré: You son-of-a --
Kendall: Oh, my God. Thank God. There you are.
Kendall: Hey, I -- I -- I came here, and they said there was no record of your arrest. Are you ok?
Zach: I'm fine.
Kendall: Ok, well, then what -- what happened?
Zach: Hey, just calm down. We, uh, went and looked at the accident site one more time.
Kendall: What do you mean? Where -- where you found Richie?
Kendall: Ok, I -- I don't understand. Is my husband arrested or -- or not?
Jesse: At the moment, no.
Kendall: Well, then, why did you cuff him at Fusion?
Zach: Well, because he needed me to go with him.
Kendall: You couldn't have asked?
Kendall: Ok, what did you do when you went down there?
Zach: I walked him through what I saw the night that Richie was killed.
Kendall: All right, you've already questioned Zach once. Why did you need to talk to him again?
Zach: He's trying to come up with more theories, that's all.
Kendall: Ok, so then you know that someone else besides Zach was responsible.
Jesse: Well, I'm not ruling anything out yet.
Kendall: Well, you must have found something at that site.
Jesse: Just more questions, but at least I know where to look for the answers.
Ryan: Is she going to be all right?
Nurse: She had a pretty severe blow to the head.
Ryan: But she woke up, and she answered a bunch of questions.
Nurse: We're still waiting on the MRI results, but, yes. I think she should be just fine.
Ryan: Ok. Thank you.
Nurse: Mm. She's lucky you were there when it happened, Mr. Lavery. You saved her life.
Ryan: She's got it all wrong on that one. I'm the lucky one. Because in saving your life, you've made complete and total sense of mine. Only you could pull that off, right? When I was coming out to get you, Greenlee, it all came back to me, all of it, everything from the last four years, Kendall, Annie, the kids, you. I remember loving you, Greenlee. So much. But it's not even like a memory. It's like -- it's like it's been there the whole time, but I ju -- I just haven't let it out. Nothing has made sense for so long now. It's been so unbelievably frustrating, and I just kept trying to find that one thing that would click, you know, and that makes sense as to why this is happening to me, and the whole time, it's been you. How's that for an ego booster, huh? I guess my life just didn't make sense without you.
Krystal: Carmen was -- was nice, wasn't she?
Tad: Yeah. Very nice. Poor woman has no idea what she's in for.
Krystal: I think she's going to handle Adam just fine.
Tad: Hmm. Well, if she stands half a chance, it's only because of you. You sure know how to work the old, Silver Bullet, don't you?
Krystal: Oh, well. I was married to the man.
Tad: Yeah, I know, I know. Don't remind me. Hmm.
Tad: What, what?
Tad: How do I like my eggs?
Krystal: Are your serious?
Tad: Yeah, how do I like my eggs? What, are you -- are you saying you don't know?
Krystal: Scrambled. Shredded cheese. Lots of pepper. You satisfied?
Tad: Oh, well, I guess so.
Krystal: You. You are a piece of work.
Tad: Yeah, I know, I know, but you say that like it's a bad thing. I'll be good. Otherwise, you can send me to -- to camp tomorrow.
Krystal: Oh, you'd love that, wouldn't you?
Tad: Yeah, I probably would.
Krystal: You are something.
Tad: Mm-hmm --
Pete: Back off, Dré. I'm not going to say anything. But if you guys want to get away with this --
Colby: Oh, we don't even know if we did anything.
Pete: Colby, there's blood on your car. Not animal, not alien. A human's blood. Richie Novak was found dead in the middle of the road. You do the math.
Dré: You keep your mouth shut. You understand? I'm out of here.
Colby: You're going?
Dré: Cass, you want a ride?
Cassandra: Yeah. We'll talk?
Colby: Call me when you get home.
Cassandra: What are we going to do?
Dré: I don't know. I think I got to talk to my dad.
Pete: Alone at last. So what do you feel like doing?
Colby: Pete, you should go home.
Pete: Yeah. Yeah, I think I'll hang out for a while.
Jesse: O'Malley, Hubbard here.
Kendall: Who's he calling?
Zach: The morgue. He wants to look at Richie's body one more time.
Jesse: When did this happen? Are you sure?
Jesse: Damn it. He's gone.
Annie: Hi. I'm Annie Lavery. You called about my brother.
Man: Oh, yes, of course. One second.
Man: I'm sorry for your loss, Mrs. Lavery.
Annie: Thank you.
Greenlee: How long have I been here?
Ryan: A while. You were pretty out of it.
Greenlee: Feels like someone used my head for batting practice.
Ryan: What do you remember?
Greenlee: Bits and pieces. Being on the boat. Seeing you. What happened?
Ryan: Captain Smythe, you got hit in the head with the boom.
Greenlee: And then I went boom?
Ryan: Gracefully, but, yeah. That's pretty much what happened.
Greenlee: Oh. And you were there? You saved my life?
Ryan: Well, the paramedics might have had something to do with that.
Greenlee: No, it was you. You told them you were my husband.
Ryan: Yeah, I did. I didn't -- I didn't want you to be alone. Look, Greenlee, there's something that I really need to tell you, ok?
Greenlee: Me, too.
Ryan: Now, this is -- this is really --
Greenlee: No, no, I'm in the hospital bed. I get to go first.
Ryan: All right. That's a pretty decent point. Go ahead.
Greenlee: I love you, Ryan Lavery. I love you. For saving me for Aidan.
