Ryan: Ok, when Annie gets back, I will have her call you.
Jesse: Ryan, what movie theaters did you two usually go to?
Ryan: The one on Fifth, why?
Jesse: Any others?
Ryan: I will have Annie call you.
Jesse: We don't have that kind of time, Ryan. What kind of movies does she like?
Ryan: What, why -- why does that possibly matter?
Jesse: When a man accused of attempted murder escapes from custody and takes a hostage, kind of everything matters. So, does she normally go to the movies by herself?
Ryan: I don't like where this is going, Jesse.
Jesse: Well, sometimes cops got to go to some pretty funky places. And I don't know, it just strikes me as odd that Annie would up and go to a movie after being assaulted by her brother.
Ryan: So, what are you thinking? Maybe that Richie has her?
Jesse: I'm thinking it's a possibility.
Ryan: And what's the other possibility, Jesse? Do you think Annie is in on this with Richie?
Jesse: You tell me.
Richie: Did you have to park in Ohio? Everything still hurts from Zach Slater's visit to my jail cell.
Annie: So, Zach's the one who gave you that pounding?
Richie: Yes, Zach gave me the pounding. You have great friends here.
Annie: Just shut up, ok?
Richie: Oh, that's how you talk to your little brother these days?

Annie: Ok, ok, you know those last 10 minutes of us walking here? Those silent minutes? Let's do that again.
Richie: And miss out on all this bonding time? Sure.
Annie: God, do you think anybody saw us?
Richie: No, sis, we're golden, let's go.
Annie: This is all your fault.

Annie: I gave you money. I gave you a chance to get out of here, and you blew it.
Richie: Watch where you're throwing those accusations, sis. You're not so squeaky clean these days.
Annie: I asked you to get Greenlee out of my life, and what did you do?
Richie: Plan B.
Annie: What part of your escape would involve trying to seduce Babe?
Richie: The fun part, ok?
Annie: Hello, she doesn't even want you.
Richie: Hello, come on, I guess you know all about that subject, since you're married to a guy who doesn't even remember why he married you in the first place.
Annie: Oh, my God, I honestly didn't realize that you were this stupid.
Richie: I'm sorry. Have you stopped trying to trick Ryan into having a kid with you?
Annie: This isn't about me, Richie.
Richie: Well, it sure as hell will be if we get caught, so can we go, please?
Annie: Look, there's a car up there, ok? I'm waiting for it to pass.
Richie: Ok, that was smart again. What have you been breaking the law since I've been gone?
Annie: Gosh, you took your one chance of getting out of here, and you blew it for a woman who hates you.
Richie: Babe cared. She cared before, ok? She could care again.
Annie: You're delusional. You're not the golden child anymore, Richie. You can't get everything you want with a compliment and a smile.
Richie: You know what my prison shrink used to say to me, God rest his soul, he used to say that you were jealous of me.
Annie: Jealous, jealous of what? I have waited my entire life for people to see the truth about you and now they finally do.
Richie: Cry me a river, ok? The car's gone. Just drive.
Annie: You are still ruining my life.
Richie: My heart bleeds.
Annie: And now I have to fix it. God, I always have to fix it.
Colby: Come on, you guys, let's play never have I ever.
Dré: Yeah, I don't think so, Colby.
Colby: Ok, I'll start. Never have I ever got drunk, had sex, and got tossed aside on my birthday. Oh, wait, I did. Come on, guys, your turn.
Cassandra: Yeah, ok, how about we go home?
Colby: Why? The party's just getting started. Ok, I'll go again. Never have I ever had a crush on anyone in this room. Oh, don't even. We should all be drinking to that social.
Dré: How did this happen?
Cassandra: Yeah, I think it's called a 12-pack.
Colby: Never have I ever learned from my mistakes. Hey, I think we all know the answer to that. Happy birthday to me. Let's make a toast.
Dré: How about we toast with soda?
Colby: That won't work. Come on. Ok, ok, ok, ok, are you ready? Is everybody ready? Here's to the men that we love, or women. Here's to the men that love us, and if the men that we love don't love us, then the hell with them and here's to us.
Cassandra: Ok, enough toasts, can you please put the drink down?
Colby: Oh, you guys care. I love you guys. I'm so glad you're my friends, real friends, you know, good friends. Whoa, why is everything spinning?
Cassandra: Ok, I think we're officially on drunk girl watch.
Dré: I'll flip you for it.
Cassandra: I don't think so.
Colby: Hello, I can hear you.
Dré: All right.
Cassandra: Sit down.
Colby: I'm right here.
Cassandra: Ok, good, sit --
Colby: Shh, let's listen.
Cassandra: Please, thank you very much.
Colby: Does Cass know how much you like her? Because she likes you, and you like her. And it's a secret, shh.
Adam: My family means the world to me. I don't live alone in this mansion. You'll meet them all sooner or later, just stop making snap judgments.
Carmen: I can't do anything right, can I?
Adam: Well, we're not getting off to a very good start, are we?
Carmen: Sorry, I just thought your family bailed on you. It does happen. Maybe not in rich places like this, but --
Adam: No, maybe it happens everywhere, but I hold my family in too high esteem to risk losing them.
Carmen: It's good to know. So, what should I be doing?
Adam: Well, I don't want to become part of the day-to-day household duties. There must be a list of duties somewhere.
Carmen: Maybe that room where you keep the mud.
Adam: You're dismissed. Dismissed, that means you can go to your room and retire for the evening. Good night, Carmen.
Carmen: Good night, boss man.
Ryan: So, let me get this straight. You think this woman right here, with this beautiful little girl is helping her whack job brother?
Jesse: I got to ask these questions, Ryan. This is my job.
Ryan: You're asking questions about a woman who has been warning everybody in Pine Valley about this guy since the day he came to town. The same woman who's protecting my daughter from that guy, a daughter that she loves more than she loves herself, Jesse.
Jesse: Well, you know what? From what I've heard, you can't even remember most of Richie's time here in Pine Valley.
Ryan: I have been filled in.
Jesse: Obviously by your wife.
Ryan: By everybody. Jesse, everybody in town. Why don't you go ask one of them? Maybe you'll get some answers, ok? Annie is the victim in this.
Jesse: But she isn't here, Ryan.
Ryan: She's at a movie. Why is that so hard for you to understand? She's at a movie. She wanted to spend a little bit of time thinking about something other than her brother and his escape, or me and my amnesia. She wanted to spend a little time for herself. That's it, ok? That's all, like she doesn't deserve that.
Jesse: All right, calm down, because you know what? I'm really trying to help you here. That's what I'm trying to do. And I really need to talk to Annie.
Ryan: Well, you're not the only one. I mean, Richie's on the loose right now, and Annie's not picking up her cell phone.
Jesse: [Sighs] Yeah, it's Hubbard here. Give me the uniform detail. I want you to check all the local theaters for a woman fitting Annie Lavery's description. Yeah, start with the one on Fifth.
Greenlee: I thought we had him.
Kendall: How in the hell did Richie escape?
Babe: What if he's out there right now watching us?
Kendall: Ok, Babe, Zach and Aidan and J.R., they're out there, and they will make that Richie doesn't come anywhere near us.
Greenlee: Is it just me, or is this room getting smaller?
Kendall: It's ok, Greenlee.
Babe: What the hell was that?
Kendall: I'm sure it was an animal, ok? We're in the woods.
Greenlee: This wasn't supposed to happen. Why didn't I frisk him?
Kendall: Frisk him? And then what, what are you going to book him next?
Greenlee: No, I grabbed his hunting knife, but I should have checked him first.
Kendall: Yes, because checking him and getting in his business is exactly what we had on our agenda.
Babe: All right, stop it, you two.
Kendall: Yeah, well, if she would stop blaming us.
Greenlee: We didn't call the police right away.
Kendall: And done what? And tell them what? That, that we don't know if Richie's really here?
Greenlee: Wait, whoa, whoa, whoa.
Babe: What, what?
Greenlee: Did you see that?
Greenlee: That shadow by the window, did you see it?
Kendall: No, I --
Greenlee: All right.
Babe: Oh, get, get something.
Aidan: Kendall, it's me.
Richie: God, do you ever stop whining? "Oh, Richie, you think you're the golden child, you ruined my life." Just get over it, man. Get over it.
Annie: Get over it, get over it? I have a husband at home. I have a daughter that I love, and I am here risking my life to help you.
Richie: Oh, don't start polishing your halo now, sweetheart. You're not here to help me, you're here to help yourself.
Annie: Ok, just shut up, ok?
Richie: Oh, yeah, big, bad Richie makes poor Annie's life miserable, everything's so hard for you.
Annie: I swear will pull this car over and kick you out.
Richie: Oh, yeah, then what are you going to do? Are you going to drive off and leave me there to tell everybody I meet about your perfect little lie -- oh, oh, I mean, your life. I doubt you're going to do that.
Annie: You really do hate me.
Richie: No, you, you, you're the one that decided to be my enemy instead of my sister.
Annie: I am your sister.
Richie: Yeah, well, we could have been a great team, you know that? Instead you decided to send me off to prison. So, karma's a bitch, sis.
Annie: No, if only they had gotten you the psychological help that I wanted --
Richie: Oh, why the -- shut up. Why do I need psychological help, huh? Why do I need it? Because I love you? Yeah, I love you. No, I've always loved you. I've always been there for you. I've always tried to help you.
Annie: Help me?
Annie: Help me, you lied to me about getting Greenlee out of my life. Instead you snagged Babe for yourself. How is that helping me?
Richie: I didn't have a choice, ok? I didn't have a -- I didn't have a choice.
Annie: God, it's bull. It's all bull, Richie.
Richie: It's not bull, I'm serious. I don't know, I saw her and I thought maybe Babe can make life on the run more tolerable --
Annie: God, please, please, not even.
Richie: Oh, what, after all those years in prison, because of you, I'm not entitled to just a little bit of happiness, just a little?
Annie: You're alive, that's enough.
Richie: Yeah, well, no thanks to you, ok?
Annie: You, you destroyed my family.
Richie: Which family? Which one are you talking about, sis? The one you're trying to snag onto now? Or the one that you ruined back in Chicago?
Annie: Well, you know what? You pretty much ruined them both, Richie.
Richie: Yeah, well at least I'm not the one who had Mom kill herself.
Annie: Oh, stop it, stop it.
Richie: Oh, it's true you lied. You lied to send her only son to prison. You might as well just have tied the noose yourself, sis.
Annie: I loved Mom.
Richie: Yeah, well, you have a funny way of showing it.
Annie: I was not trying to hurt her. I don't hurt people on purpose like you do, Richie. Like what about Dad, Richie, why is dad deaf? That wasn't my fault.
Richie: Ok, Dad, let's talk about Dad. How is your relationship with Dad now, huh? Oh, that's right. The only reason you talk to him is because of little Emma.
Annie: That's because you've twisted things, Richie.
Richie: Oh, your life has been a mess forever. Don't blame me for it now.
Annie: Why wouldn't I blame you? It's your fault that I went to the first guy that would have me, Terry, and married him.
Richie: Are you really sitting here right now and blaming me for your pervert ex-husband? Really, is that what you're doing?
Annie: You have ruined my life.
Richie: Annie, you know what? I think it's time we just, we just ended it now. We just part our own ways. I don't need you anymore, anyway, sis. I've got your money, and I've got your car.
[When Richie pulls on the steering wheel, the car swerves as the tires squeal]
Aidan: Put this down, can I? I think we're all safe.
Greenlee: Thank God she didn't hit you.
Kendall: I could have killed you.
Aidan: Yeah, but you didn't. Any sign of Novak?
Babe: No, but when we heard the noise outside --
Greenlee: We thought it could have been him.
Kendall: Yeah, and so I grabbed something from the fireplace, and I'm sorry, Aidan. I almost hit you.
Aidan: It's ok.
Greenlee: Yeah, but you didn't. Nobody got hurt.
J.R.: Are you all right?
Zach: We heard a scream. Who screamed?
Greenlee: False alarm.
Aidan: I came back in, I didn't say it was me, Kendall got scared. Did you find anything?
J.R.: Yeah. We found what looks like to be a trail to the north.
Zach: Novak may have left by that. What's going on? You're shaking. Hey.
Kendall: I just hate that Richie can get to me like this.
Annie: You almost got us killed. What are you, crazy?
Richie: Oh, do I need to answer that question really?
Annie: I swear, if you want anything from me, and I mean anything, you will shut up and listen.
Richie: Oh, come on, Annie, you shut up and listen. Come on, we're a team. I'm not going to hurt you.
Annie: Oh, you really expect me to believe that?
Richie: Look, you don't want to fight me, ok? You really just don't want to fight me.
Annie: Threaten me again and this car goes nowhere.
Richie: Fine. Good. Just get me out of here in one piece, and then your secrets are safe with me. Everybody wins.
Annie and Richie: Good.
Annie: I want you gone. I mean it. I want you out of this town, I want you out of this time zone, and I want you gone for good this time. No coming back.
Richie: I love you, too, sis. But I've got a better idea. Why don't I take your keys, and I just drive off into the sunset?
Annie: We're the middle of nowhere, Richie. You're not leaving me here.
Richie: But you'd leave me here, right? Don't worry, somebody will come along, they'll pick you up, and you can tell them the story about how big, bad Richie abducted you, took your car, kicked you to the curb, whatever you want to do.
Annie: No, Richie, the last time people saw you, you were around this place. They'll know that I helped you.
Richie: Oh, so they would. Well, I guess, too bad for you.
Annie: I am not taking a fall for you. I want you out of my car, and I want you out of my life. Do you understand?
Richie: Just don't raise your voice to me, ok? And besides, you need to keep a level head if you're going to tell another convincing lie to your loving husband.
Annie: That's it, get out. That's it! I want you out! Get the hell out!
Jesse: Ryan, I'm just trying to understand the hold Richie has on Annie.
Ryan: The guy is a sociopath, Jesse, but he's still her brother. I mean, she wants him in prison, but she still cares about him.
Jesse: Ok. Well, that brother-sister connection could help us find him.
Ryan: I want his ass back in prison where he belongs.
Jesse: Well, that makes two of us, brother.
Ryan: Ok, well, then you do your job, and I will take care of my wife.
Jesse: Why can't we do both? She might have information.
Ryan: She told you all of the information that she knows.
Jesse: Well, maybe there's something that she just doesn't think is that important, which leads us to my job, to sort through the memories, the vague recollections. Anything could be a tip.
Ryan: Well, I -- I want to help you.
Jesse: I know you do. And trust me, I understand your wanting to protect your girl.
Ryan: Thank you. I'll have Annie call you, ok?
Jesse: Listen, I've got to get back to the station. If you hear from her, Ryan, please --
Ryan: You'll hear from her.
Jesse: All right.
Colby: I don't want to go.
Dré: Too bad, party's over.
Colby: Seriously, I'm not going anywhere. I've had two crappy birthdays in a row. One was so bla -- bad that people are still talking about how ridiculous it was. And the other one, I ignore it because the first one was so bad.
Cassandra: Colby, get your stuff, we're out of here.
Colby: No. I want some fun. Some presents. Happy birthday to me.
Dré: Ah, ok, party's really over now.
Dré: All right, let's do this.
Colby: Maybe that's someone who actually wants to celebrate with me.
Adam: Yes, yes, Cassandra, is that you? Adam Chandler here. Could I speak with my daughter?
Aidan: We're at this cabin at the end of Route 83.
Jesse: How's Babe doing?
Aidan: She's fine. She's shaken up, but she'll be ok.
Jesse: Yeah. Well, Novak's nowhere to be found.
Aidan: The ropes were cut. Somehow he escaped through this window.
Jesse: No sign of him?
Aidan: No, he's on foot.
Jesse: Stay put, we're on our way.
Jesse: All right, folks, we've got a scene. Thanks. I want you to bring out the dogs and get Forensics, get your hats. We're going into the woods. Let's move it. Let's go, come on, let's go.
Aidan: Jesse wants us to stay here, so he can take some statements.
J.R.: No, no way in hell. I'm getting Babe out of here.
Babe: If waiting here means finding Richie, I'll stay.
Kendall: Well, whatever, someone can come to the house. I'm going home to my boys.
Zach: Yeah, you go ahead.
Greenlee: I'll stay.
Aidan: Uh, I don't think so, Greenlee.
Kendall: Oh, I get it. You're going after Richie.
Aidan: Girls, I'll take you home, all right?
Kendall: No, no, no, no. Zach, you can't do this.
Zach: I wasn't asking you.
Greenlee: Can't you just let the cops do their jobs?
Zach: Did you call the cops earlier?
Aidan: I'll take Kendall and Greenlee home and make sure they get home safe.
Zach: Good. I'll take Richie's car, you take mine.
Kendall: Ok, so we have no say in this.
Aidan: I think we did enough talking with the pepper spray.
Zach: Aidan will take you home in your car, no arguments. Come here.
J.R.: Look, I just need to get her home. He traumatized her a lot more --
Zach: Calm down. Take her home, keep her safe.
J.R.: All right. You find this guy, you take care of him properly.
Zach: It's done.
Zach: It's going to be ok.
Aidan: Richie's got to be heading north away from town.
Kendall: No, no, damn it, you are not going out there alone.
Cassandra: Mr. Chandler, hi, how are you?
Adam: I am fine, Cassandra. Could I speak with my daughter?
Cassandra: I didn't get a chance to thank you for letting me come up here to the lodge with Colby. It's amazing up here, and I know Colby really appreciates it.
Adam: You're very welcome. Now, where's my daughter?
Cassandra: Where is your daughter? She's in the bathroom, taking a bath.
Adam: A bath? At her birthday party?
Cassandra: I know. It sounds strange, right? Um, well, what happened was we were -- we went for a walk, and she fell in the mud, so, yeah, it's crazy, I know.
Adam: Well, would you have her call me when she gets out?
Cassandra: Ok. Ok, sure. Bye.
[Knock on door]
Carmen: Just take it in for a minute before you decide that you hate it.
Adam: Carmen, what in blazes are you doing?
Carmen: I couldn't find the rulebooks, so I worked on my uniform. Changed it up, blinged it out just a little. You like?
Carmen: I need something to do. I just got all this pent up energy from being stuck in a cell.
Adam: You want to be productive? Pour me a Scotch. It's the decanter on the right.
Carmen: Sure thing. I've been doing a lot of this since I got here. Is this my new job here? Bartendress?
Adam: When I need it to be, yes.
Carmen: You got anything more laid back to drink other than this stuff?
Adam: You mean like a keg?
Carmen: [Scoffs] I know you wouldn't have a keg in a place like this.
Adam: You might be surprised. When Krystal was here, we had 73 truckers with enough kegs to inebriate every one of them. Krystal was really good at keeping things -- keeping things humming.
Carmen: Krystal, isn't she the married woman that you were --
Adam: Must I repeat every order I give to you? That's it. Good night, you're dismissed. Go to bed.
Cassandra: Ok. Do we have everything, birthday girl?
Dré: Then let's go. Where are your keys?
Colby: I'm too wasted to drive.
Colby: Ok, ok, but nobody better puke in my new car.
Dré: We're not the ones you have to worry about.
Jesse: She's not at any of the local theaters? Did you check with the staff, all of them? Keep looking. Put an APB out on her car. Annie Lavery. Richie Novak better be still breathing when we find him, because if somebody went vigilante on my watch, there's going to be hell to pay.
J.R.: Let's go, Babe.
Babe: Not yet. I want to wait for the police.
J.R.: No, you know what? They can get your statement tomorrow.
Greenlee: We're fine, Babe. Go home to your son.
Babe: I can help them.
Aidan: No one is going to stay here for long.
Kendall: Yeah, and we can tell them everything.
J.R.: I want to get you checked out at the hospital.
Babe: No, no. If I'm not staying, I want to go straight home. Thank you, guys.
Greenlee: Don't. No need.
Kendall: Seriously, you would have busted down doors for us.
Babe: No, I mean it. I don't know what I would have done.
Greenlee: Hey, listen, it's all good.
Kendall: Now, give me a hug. And you do owe us some cocktails.
Babe: Deal. I know a really good bar.
Kendall: Now, how about you, mister?
Zach: What? You're not stopping me.
Aidan: You're not going to win this one, Kendall.
Greenlee: He's a big boy. He'll be fine. Besides, I don't think you have a choice.
Kendall: Just don't anything stupid.
Zach: Of course not.
Kendall: And if you find Richie --
Zach: Hey, see you at home.
Kendall: Please tell me I did the right thing. Please tell me it will be ok.
Ryan: So, no one saw a woman that looks like that? No, she's alone. Ok, thank you.
Ryan: Hey. You ok?
Annie: I'm fine.
Ryan: You -- you haven't seen Richie? You're not with him?
Annie: No. No, why would I be with -- why would I be with Richie?
Ryan: I don't know. I was just worried about you, you know, when you didn't answer your phone.
Annie: Sorry, I turned my cell phone off in the movie. You got my note, right?
Ryan: Yeah, I did why don't I come pick you up?
Annie: No, no. No, I'm fine. I'll drive myself home.
Ryan: You're sure you're ok?
Annie: I'm sure. I'll be home soon.
