Babe: Amanda, have you seen a copy of the southeastern rollout?
Amanda: Why don't you ask Annie? Oh, wait. She's not here.
Babe: Yeah, where the heck is everyone?
Amanda: No Annie, no Greenlee. Only one's coming back alive. I guess you know what that means. Actually, this time, my money's on Greenlee.
Babe: Uh, looks like you lose.
Annie: Hey, Ryan, it's me. Call me when you get this. Isn't Greenlee here?
Babe: Nope. She's out.
Amanda: Before you ask, we don't know where.
Annie: Why do we even bother? No one ever seems to work, like, ever, here.
Kendall: Ladies, hello, hello. I would like to introduce you to Lucy Danzinger. She is the editor of "Self" magazine.
Lucy: So, this is "Fusion."
Kendall: Yes! So, Lucy, this is Babe Carey --
Babe: Hi, how are you?
Lucy: Nice to meet you.
Kendall: And Amanda Dillon.
Kendall: Annie Lavery.
Kendall: Lucy is here to see how an empowered company, run by women for women, operates flawlessly.
Amanda: Ha! That was a good one.
Greenlee: She's a beauty, isn't she?
Ryan: You did it, didn't you?
Greenlee: Yeah. She's mine for the whole day. With a name like "Blue Skies," how could I ignore fate? You're coming with me.
Ryan: Well, it certainly hasn't been a blue sky day so far.
Greenlee: That's what the boat's for, Ryan. You, me, almost all blue sky. Captain Smythe only has one rule. No talking.
Ryan: That I can handle. Calling you "Captain Smythe" might be a problem.
Greenlee: Come on, sailor. All aboard. Come on. Get behind me.
Ryan: Ok, behind you?
Greenlee: Yup, behind me.
Ryan: Ok, what do I do first?
Greenlee: Get the ties off the sail.
Ryan: Ties off the sail, Captain!
Angie: Thanks for dropping me off, Professor.
Jesse: It is my pleasure, Doctor.
Angie: What's next on the agenda?
Jesse: Head back over to PVU, walk around, get a feel for the campus, you know. Make sure I can find all my classes.
Angie: Bad form for the teacher to be late for class.
Jesse: Tell me about it.
Angie: Thank you.
Jesse: Hey, I had to drive by the hospital anyway. It's on the way.
Angie: You know what I mean.
Frankie: Hey, listen. I need a, uh, CBC, um, a chem panel, a UA, tox screen, head C-T, and, also, find me the neuro consult. Thanks.
Angie: "Neuro consult"?
Frankie: Possible closed head injury.
Angie: Can I see the patient?
Frankie: Yeah. Hey, Randi. It's me, Franklin. Can you hear me? Who did this to you?
Officer: Is this the hooker that got a beating from her pimp?
Frankie: Hey. I know this patient. She ain't no damn prostitute.
Aidan: Where's Novak?
Zach: How's your stay so far?
Richie: Where's the guard?
Zach: He left.
Richie: Guard? Guard? Last time I was left alone with this guy, he almost killed me, man.
Zach: I did.
Richie: Ok. Look. Come on. I mean, we're in jail. Unless you want a jail cell right next to mine, you know, I suggest you just go home. Just leave. Go. What? Oh, come on! Guard? You're not going to let him do this, are you? Come on, guard.
Guard: Miller, you know where Novak is?
Officer Miller: Uh, yeah. He wasn't feeling too well. He's getting checked out right now.
Aidan: I'll wait.
Guard: Got to wait upstairs.
Richie: I need a guard! You can't let him do this.
Zach: Hey. You're alone.
Richie: Just take me back to my cell. Just take me back to my --
Zach: Shh, shh, shh. Stop. I'm not here. I'm at a meeting with five different people in a public place. A lot of witnesses. There are no witnesses here.
Richie: Hey, fine. I get it. I get it. I'm screwed. What do you want to do?
Zach: What do you think?
Richie: Are you crazy, man?
Zach: Does it worry you?
Richie: Guard? Guard?
Zach: They're not coming.
Zach: Same way that Greenlee and I thought they weren't coming when you locked us in that hole. It's time.
Kendall: Lucy is just going to watch our "Fusion" dynamic and see how we work.
Amanda: You mean, when we work.
Lucy: Please don't let me interrupt you. Act like I'm not here.
Amanda: Well, you really don't want to see that.
Kendall: You're funny. I just -- she's cute. She's -- she's very funny. Ok, uh, you know what? Why don't you make yourself at home, and, uh, and just relax a little bit?
Lucy: Thank you, I will.
Kendall: Ok, yeah, bless you. Um, what is the latest crisis of the day, ladies?
Babe: There's a problem with the Atlanta mark.
Kendall: Well, didn't the southeast team handle the rollout?
Babe: There's a problem with the media buy. A couple fell through.
Amanda: We're trying to recover.
Babe: I think I have it figured out. We send somebody down there, we build a couple of specific partners, and amp up the market.
Annie: Well, that makes sense to me.
Kendall: And when does this need to happen?
Amanda: Like, yesterday.
Kendall: Ok, well, let's, uh, let's call Greenlee, and see what she thinks.
Babe: Kendall, we really don't have time.
Kendall: Ok, well, let -- let's call Greenlee first.
Babe: And where is she?
Amanda: Do you want me to just get started?
Kendall: Not yet.
Amanda: Why, what's the holdup?
Babe: We got to run it by Greenlee.
Amanda: What? It makes perfect sense.
Annie: Is there a problem?
Kendall: No. No, no. No problem.
Babe: Kendall wants to wait for Greenlee.
Annie: Why is Kendall all about Greenlee all of a sudden?
Amanda: Maybe we should ix-nay the drama in front of the editor-ay?
Babe: I really have no idea what's up.
Annie: Well, sucking up to Greenlee is going to compromise this company. That's what's up.
Amanda: So, what are we supposed to do?
Babe: Shut up and do what we're told.
Annie: What -- this is crazy.
Amanda: There's a problem, Babe has the solution, why do we have to get Greenlee's stamp on everything?
Annie: Micromanage much?
Kendall: Ladies, what's next?
Babe: I have a question. Is this a flawless business or a flawless dictatorship?
Jesse: Hey, Frankie. How do you know this girl?
Frankie: I treated the patient before.
Jesse: And that's it?
Frankie: Yeah. Where the hell is the neuro? Take that.
Jesse: Hey, your mom's in there with her now, and you seem just a little anxious. A little --
Frankie: Dad, please with this interrogation. The girl has two jobs. She's a waitress, and she works in an office. She's not some street walker.
Jesse: How do you know? She told you?
Angie: Frankie, what do you know about her?
Frankie: I know that I'm her doctor, she came in, and I treated her.
Jesse: Hey, you guys are the officers that brought the young lady in, right?
Officer: Yes, sir.
Jesse: And you claim she's a prostitute.
Officer: Look, we found the girl outside a motel that rents by the hour. She had a wad of cash, enough condoms for a football team.
Frankie: All right, look. That's enough.
Jesse: Look, Frankie. Chill, man. Don't blame the cops. They're doing their job.
Frankie: Yeah, and I have to do mine.
Neurologist: I got a page about a patient -- head injury?
Frankie: Thank God. Let's go. Inside.
Jesse: Maybe there's a little more to this girl than you thought.
Kendall: Lucy, thank you so much for stopping by. You are the best. I hope you got everything that you needed for the magazine. I just, uh, it's too bad you don't write a tabloid.
Lucy: Please don't worry about it, Kendall. Sometimes being the boss just means making nice.
Kendall: Yeah, I know. I just -- I wish you didn't have to see this.
Lucy: "Self" loves "Fusion." You have nothing to worry about. Now, get back to work.
Kendall: Ok. Bye.
Lucy: Bye. Thank you.
Kendall: Nice work, ladies. Very nice.
Amanda: Hey. How are you doing?
Annie: Well, I'd be better if we could get this rollout settled.
Amanda: You know what I mean. I mean with Richie.
Annie: I'm fine.
Amanda: You don't sound fine to me.
Annie: Have you seen the same-store reports?
Amanda: Look, I'm just saying I hope that you're ok.
Annie: I am.
Amanda: And if -- if you need to talk about Richie or anything --
Annie: I know. If I need to talk, you're there. I know. Thank you.
Amanda: I mean it.
Annie: My brother tried to kill people, Amanda, and he stole somebody's bone marrow. I mean, he deserves to be arrested.
Amanda: But he's still your brother. And you are not the only one related to someone who's done a whole lot of damage to this town.
Annie: Yeah, but your mom is trying to get help.
Amanda: Well, it took a long time, and people lost way too much along the way.
Annie: I tried to warn people he was dangerous. And I did not want him here.
Amanda: I know.
Annie: I just -- I hate that it got so far.
Amanda: The guilt's hard.
Annie: Do you ever get over it?
Amanda: Some days are better.
Amanda: Babe must feel like such a fool.
Babe: Are you sure you don't have to run it past Greenlee first?
Kendall: Ok. Is this about you and me or you and Richie?
Babe: Well, here's the answer, Kendall. I hope Greenlee gets her ass back in this office soon, so we can get back to business.
Greenlee: I've been obsessing about Aidan, and I can't stop thinking about him. And then he kissed me. And now, I'm confused. And I'm going nuts, because somehow my overprotective father thinks that I should get back with him. But I don't know what I would do if I get -- I'm sorry. No talking. I'll be quiet now.
Ryan: I'm married to a woman who I can't remember.
Greenlee: Got the guilts, huh? I know what that's like. If I tell you it's not your fault, you know, the whole memory loss thing -- would it help? No? Didn't think so. There's something else, isn't there?
Ryan: You really suck at this.
Ryan: The whole "let's not talk" thing.
Greenlee: Well, maybe it's because I'm of the female persuasion. We like bubble baths, romantic comedies, and talking.
Ryan: Yeah, that I do remember.
Greenlee: So, what if you never remember all the other stuff?
Ryan: Well, as far as Annie's concerned, that would probably be a good thing. She's afraid that I'll remember I never loved her at all.
Greenlee: Well, a woman doesn't just really say something like that unless she's really worried. Guess that's why Annie's been acting like a head case.
Ryan: I wouldn't go quite that far.
Greenlee: Ryan. She broke into my apartment.
Ryan: Really, well I know a woman who took an ax to my old loft.
Greenlee: But I was so justified.
Ryan: Yeah, not everyone would agree with that.
Greenlee: Point taken. Just keep Annie away from axes.
Ryan: Well, she's got a lot of rough stuff going on.
Greenlee: Yeah, well, haven't we all? I mean, seriously, Ryan. She freaked me out when I came home, and she was sitting in my apartment, in the dark, waiting for me, like some stalker. "Stay away from my husband."
Ryan: Definitely doesn't sound like the Annie everybody's describing to me.
Greenlee: Yeah. My point exactly.
Ryan: Maybe it's just because I'm messing with her head.
Greenlee: You can't keep on blaming your memory problems on every crazy think that Annie does. Do you know what you need? You need a break.
Ryan: From what? From Annie?
Greenlee: No. From all of it. Just sitting here, listening to the water.
Ryan: It is pretty nice out there, huh?
Greenlee: You know, there's an old saying. "You just have to go with the current, see where it takes you."
Ryan: Did you just make that up?
Greenlee: Someone must have said it before. Where do you think this current would take us if we just went with it?
Ryan: I think it would take us to a deserted island someplace.
Greenlee: To a whole new world, maybe?
Ryan: Yeah, exactly.
Greenlee: Or maybe just back home, where we belong.
Ryan: That seems to be the problem, though, doesn't it? Knowing -- knowing where we belong.
Greenlee: Well, for starters, right now, you belong to Annie. I mean, you are married to her.
Ryan: Which means I must have -- I must have been in love with her.
Greenlee: Yeah. Yeah, maybe --
Ryan: "Maybe" what?
Greenlee: Maybe Annie was right. That you never really loved her. Maybe you married her just so you could keep her happy.
Ryan: Well, she sure as hell isn't happy now.
Annie: Ryan, it's me again. Um, where are you? Call me as soon as you get this.
Kendall: Greenlee, it's Kendall. Get your butt in the office now.
Annie: No Greenlee?
Kendall: Uh, no. She's not picking up.
Annie: I wonder why.
Kendall: I don't know. Maybe she had some meetings that she forgot to put in her calendar.
Annie: Ryan is always on her calendar.
Kendall: Are we done flipping out yet?
Babe: "We" or me?
Kendall: Come on, Babe. What in the hell is this all about?
Babe: Kendall, you didn't seem to have a problem letting me run the company when your boys were in ICU, or when you were out looking for Zach. But now you need Greenlee's vote to make every single decision? My opinions don't even matter? That's bull. And it's insulting. Not to mention, bad for Fusion.
Kendall: Well, I'm sorry. We didn't mean to --
Babe: Yeah, well, too bad. You did.
Kendall: I -- I wasn't being a bitch before, I swear.
Babe: Keep telling yourself that.
Kendall: Fine. Ok. You're pissed, and you're tense. But me ignoring your rollout solution is not the reason you're this tense.
Babe: So, what are you saying, Kendall?
Kendall: Look, Babe. I know what it feels like. I had a thing once with a guy who turned out to be a freak. Hello? Michael Cambias. So, I know where you're at.
Babe: I don't think so.
Kendall: All I'm saying is if you're having these conflicted feelings about why you and Richie --
Babe: There is no "me and Richie," ok?
Kendall: Ok, well, maybe not now, but there was a time --
Babe: No, I -- I -- I didn't sleep with Richie. Ok? Everybody got that? I didn't sleep with Richie Novak. Everybody hear that?
Myrtle: Oh! Take -- take it easy. Look as though you're going to hurt somebody. Looks as if you did already.
Guard: You see the game last night?
Second Guard: [Laughing] I thought we had them.
First Guard: That 2-0 shot at the bottom of the ninth -- just put a nail in their coffin.
Second Guard: Some game.
Zach: Myrtle, hey. I'm sorry. I've been preoccupied, and you don't even want to know what it was, but, uh, did I forget something? Were we supposed to go on --
Myrtle: No, no, no, no. No, I -- I just heard about that monster. That boy, Richie Novak.
Zach: Yeah. I have better words to describe him.
Myrtle: Yeah, and I can think of plenty. Well, thank God he is in jail. He's going to get the punishment he deserves.
Zach: There's not enough punishment in this world to punish him for what he did.
Myrtle: Well, it looks as if he got a slight taste of it. And it looks as if you could use a drink.
Zach: Nothing gets past you.
Myrtle: Did this do any good?
Zach: Not enough good.
Myrtle: I'm not sure I like the way you say that, darling.
Zach: Yeah, I don't like it, either. My thoughts right now, Myrtle, are in a very dark place. Very dark indeed.
Aidan: Ouch. Look at you. You don't look so good, do you? Looks like someone got here before I did.
Richie: Get out, Devane.
Aidan: When you're behind bars, you don't get to call the shots.
Richie: You're not going to hurt me any more than I'm already hurt.
Aidan: You want to bet?
Frankie: How's the patient?
Neurologist: We have to get her into surgery now. There's internal bleeding and edema we need to alleviate. We'll let you know.
Frankie: I'll scrub in.
Angie: Franklin. Let them do their job.
Frankie: Mom, I'm going with her.
Jesse: Did this young lady have any ID on her -- state ID, driver's license? Anything?
Officer: Does it matter?
Jesse: Parking pass, pay stub? My son said she was working two jobs.
Officer: You know, this is not your business.
Jesse: Excuse me?
Officer: You turned down the chief job, so you lost your chance to question us.
Jesse: You're right.
Annie: Hey, you know, cut Babe some slack. She's got a lot of drama to sort out.
Kendall: Yeah, that's what the "Self" magazine piece should have been about. How "Fusion" deals with drama.
Annie: We're a cover story for emotional instability. You know, Babe is right, though. Greenlee should be around more. It's a work day. She should be working.
Kendall: Ok. And you think that she's with Ryan.
Annie: That's not the point.
Kendall: She's got a lot of stuff going on with Aidan.
Annie: Aidan, Aidan, I know. I know. And, now, all this bomb shelter stuff is drudged up again. Greenlee is not the only one who has a lot on her plate, Kendall. I mean, you've had hellish year. Zach was missing, both of your boys were in the hospital. And it's been hard for me, too. Ryan got shot. He lost his memory. And, yet, you and I are still here at work.
Kendall: I -- I agree with you. I'll -- I'll talk to her.
Annie: I hope Greenlee and Aidan can work things out.
Kendall: I do, too.
Annie: I need Ryan more than ever now, and Greenlee needs someone, too.
Kendall: Annie just doesn't want that person to be Ryan.
Ryan: Can we just go back and pretend like we've been sitting here in silence the whole time?
Greenlee: You wish you hadn't said anything about Annie?
Ryan: Yeah, I kind of do, actually.
Greenlee: Yeah, well, you needed to vent. Don't worry, your secret's safe with me.
Ryan: Thank you.
Greenlee: Can I ask you something else though?
Greenlee: It's not directly about you two, but this whole brain stimulation thing being a problem -- what did you mean by that?
Ryan: Oh, just that there are more complications than we counted on. That's all.
Greenlee: You're kidding. Well, I -- I thought it was going to be a cure-all miracle or something.
Ryan: No, they never made any promises, and you know what they say? When things are too good to be true --
Greenlee: Well, what kind of side effects are they talking about? You'll start talking in Russian? Your extreme skiing days are over?
Ryan: My extreme skiing days would definitely be over, yes.
Greenlee: What is that supposed to mean?
Ryan: The procedure could kill me.
Greenlee: Oh, my God.
Ryan: I get the choice between remembering my past and ever having a future.
Kendall: Annie, got a minute?
Annie: Is this about the "Charm" sales figures?
Kendall: Not exactly.
Annie: Don't you think we've done enough personal chit-chat for one day?
Kendall: Listen, I'm worried about you, ok? I mean, breaking into Greenlee's apartment --
Annie: We've been through this.
Kendall: That -- that's not like you.
Annie: We've been through this, Kendall.
Kendall: Yes, but you kind of blew me off.
Annie: Ok. I don't know how Greenlee described it, but I didn't exactly pick her locks and jump her, ok?
Kendall: She didn't say that.
Annie: I mean, what I did was nothing compared to some of the stuff you and Greenlee have pulled.
Kendall: Look, I know how hard this is for you, ok?
Annie: You don't have a clue.
Kendall: I -- I know that you -- you tried to warn us about Richie and no one listened and then this -- this thing with Ryan, I know it's hard.
Annie: Hard? Is that what you're saying, "It is hard?" No. Kendall, "hard" is your husband forgetting your anniversary. "Hard" is a fender bender. This is so beyond "hard."
Kendall: I understand that, but we need you to -- to hold it together, ok?
Annie: I mean, I don't understand. Why are you on Greenlee's side anyway?
Kendall: I'm -- I'm thinking about both of you and Ryan.
Annie: Ok, I need all other women around me to stop worrying about my husband.
Kendall: Whoa. I'm not Greenlee, ok?
Annie: Do you not remember that she kidnapped your son, Kendall? Or since she didn't actually make Spike deaf, now that's all ok. And I'm sorry. I think it's a miracle that she made it out of that hole alive, but it doesn't make her a saint, does it? I mean, innocent of all blame?
Kendall: No. I'm not saying any of that.
Annie: No, let me finish. I have listened to you and Greenlee for way too long. What about the fact that she was gone for a year and a half? The women at "Fusion" were dying, and she didn't come back. Her -- her company -- her baby was going under, and she didn't care enough to come back and save it.
Kendall: Ok. All right. I understand that, and I see where you're coming from, but that's between me and Greenlee.
Annie: Is it the guilt that's gotten to you, Kendall? Because you slept with Aidan, now Greenlee can do no wrong?
Kendall: Let's not bring up me and Aidan.
Annie: Well, I mean, how can we not? He's obviously part of the fact that Greenlee's now suddenly in your eyes -- suddenly not this she-devil you used to think she was, the same arrogant, selfish little bitch she's always been.
Kendall: Ok. So, this is what I'm talking about. You need to just calm down a little bit.
Annie: "Calm down" -- the words you say when somebody's getting way too close to the truth. Oh, you know what? Now I get it. This is about you.
Kendall: Me? How does this have anything to do with me?
Annie: When Greenlee tried to break up my wedding, you stopped her.
Kendall: Yeah, exactly, because I was on your side.
Annie: Yeah, but now everything's changed. And now, you know, Greenlee's not keeping busy with Aidan. So, you wouldn't mind if she's with Ryan as long as it keeps Greenlee away from your husband.
Myrtle: Thank you.
Myrtle: Darling, after what that man has put you through, no one could possibly blame you for wanting to destroy him.
Zach: No. What I want is put him in a hole. I want him tired a beaten and broken, thirsty, and hungry --
Myrtle: Darling, you are not going to do that. You know that.
Zach: I can't have him go after my family -- not Greenlee, Kendall, or the boys.
Myrtle: Look, he'll be put in jail for that.
Zach: We've seen the justice system fail. We both have.
Myrtle: Look, he'll suffer in other ways.
Zach: Yeah. So, what do I do? Just sit here and wait? Have faith? Come on, Myrtle. Talk to me. I need your help.
Myrtle: Well, he should go through hell, and we both know it, but the thing is, if you are the one to put him there, you're going to bring hell to yourself and to your family. I mean, Kendall and the children -- they can't afford to lose you again.
Zach: I know.
Myrtle: They -- they love you so much, and they need you. You've got to remember that. Just think -- if you could put your arms around them and keep them safe, you'll feel so much better than you would giving pain to that awful Richie horror.
Zach: Come here.
Aidan: I only got one punch in at the hospital. It looks like some lucky guy got in a few more.
Richie: Next time, try harder, Aidan.
Aidan: I was going to bring you a rope. I thought maybe you wanted to play that little game that you did last time where you kicked the chair with a noose around your neck.
Richie: Well, you're the moron who saved my life that day. Blame yourself for everything I did after that.
Aidan: You messed with a lot of lives, Richie, including mine. You know what today's supposed to be? My wedding day.
Richie: Oh. Well, I guess it's a good thing I didn't bring a present.
Aidan: You know what you did, and you know the pain that you caused. Everyone survived, but not everyone made it out in one piece, and neither will you.
Amanda: Hey. Look, I know I'm a pain, and I make too many smart-ass comments, but for what it's worth, I think that you two are really great together, and Ryan would be crazy not to see it too.
Greenlee: Hey, if this deep brain whatever is going to be that dangerous, then you're not doing it -- end of story.
Ryan: I know you wanted me to have the procedure.
Greenlee: Yeah. Well, not any more. I wanted you to be happy and alive.
Ryan: Alive is good, but then again remembering --
Greenlee: Listen, I'll be your personal pocket-size reference book. Walk around with you, point out who you know, who you hate, who didn't send us wedding presents.
Ryan: You know who would love that? Annie.
Greenlee: Well, she can fill you in on the stuff I wasn't around for. We'll take turns.
Ryan: I'm sure that would go over just beautifully.
Greenlee: You know, a lot of those memories, you don't even want to remember.
Greenlee: Yeah. A lot of it sucked -- lots and lots. But now, you love Spike and Emma, you're trying with Annie. And so, you'll make new memories. Just look out onto that ocean and sail. You'll go for it, take a shot. But the idea of you walking willingly back into a dangerous situation -- you can't ever do that again. You know that, right?
Ryan: Yeah, I do. I know that.
Aidan: Greenlee Smythe, Richie. Greenlee Smythe -- she did nothing, nothing to you. And yet, you tried to kill her.
Richie: Never happened.
Aidan: She is a great woman. She has so much life and so much love to give, and you almost took that away for her. You covered that hole, and for what? To get rid of one of the -- the only eyewitness to your hit-and-run. And so what if Greenlee stays down there with him? It just shows me how sick and twisted you really are.
Richie: Ok. You know what I think? I think we're done here. If you're expecting me to start begging and pleading and apologizing, well, then you're going to be standing there for a really long damn time.
Aidan: Oh, I'm not going to wait around for that, but I'm telling you, whoever pounded your face isn't the only one that won't forget what you did. So, if these charges don't stick, well then that beating you got today is going to feel like a walk in the park compared to the rest of your life.
Jesse: It wasn't the right time for me to be chief.
Officer: Pretty cold way to treat the brotherhood. Take a teaching job instead?
Jesse: I have my reasons. Trust me. Look, I just want to know who beat this girl up. Somebody slapped her around. Who? Come on, brother to -- former brother to brother?
Officer: All right. There's a pimp downtown -- Fletcher.
Jesse: You saw him do this to her?
Officer: No, but he has a reputation.
Second Officer: Yeah, yeah. He likes to play a little rough with whatever girl he's got under his thumb.
Jesse: And this girl is one of his.
Officer: Looks like it.
Babe: Look, I just have to say that my problems with "Fusion" are valid. Ok? This is a business, for God's sake, not some sorority house with little pledge sisters.
Amanda: Kappa Kappa crazy.
Babe: Kendall, you and Greenlee need to start acting like partners or things are going to get worse. Yes, yes, you're also right. I feel like a fool about Richie.
Annie: I'm sorry, Babe.
Babe: No, this isn't your fault. I just -- I just wish to God I never met Wes. I mean, I can't believe that I went out picnicking in the woods with Little A and Emma. I was alone with him and our kids way out where Route 83 ends and anything could have happened to us in that ranger's cabin. And I believed every word that he said and then I defended him to you, Annie.
Kendall: Ok. Babe, it's ok.
Babe: Ok for who? Ok for who? For -- for Zach and Greenlee, for Annie, for J.R.? I let Richie in, and for that he almost killed J.R. J.R., the man that I --
Babe: I just -- I can't believe that I convinced myself that the good Richie was the real Richie.
Annie: You are not the only one that he's fooled, Babe.
Babe: Yeah, but the evidence kept piling up. Annie, you tried. You -- you tried to keep me away from him, and I ignored it. I guess I just thought that he needed --
Kendall: The benefit of the doubt?
Babe: Yeah, I guess. I mean, I know what it's like to have everybody hate you. You know, you try to make things right and -- they just -- they shoot you down again and again.
Amanda: You are not Richie, Babe.
Kendall: Yeah, and believe me, everyone involved with Richie has dealt with some crazy thing that he's done.
Babe: But how do you know who to trust in life? Do you just stop caring?
Amanda: Well, if you figure out the answer to that, let me know.
Kendall: If you're alive and feeling, it's going to happen. Sometimes, we care about the wrong people.
Ryan: Maybe the whole memory stimulation procedure just wasn't meant to be.
Greenlee: You mean, so Annie doesn't have to be afraid?
Ryan: Yeah, maybe.
Greenlee: That's your reason for not doing it as opposed to -- I don't know, dying?
Ryan: Oh, yeah, that.
Greenlee: Yeah, that.
Ryan: Well, like you said, Annie is still my wife.
Greenlee: The one maybe you never loved.
Ryan: Wow. Well, it's official you still suck at keeping your opinions to yourself.
Greenlee: And you're still trying to save women from themselves.
Ryan: Some things just never change, do they?
Greenlee: Mm, sometimes.
Ryan: Hey, thanks for this
Greenlee: No, thank you. Well, sailor, everything else may be crap, but you're still a great friend.
Ryan: Well, Cap'n, you are too.
Greenlee: Think it's time to head in?
Ryan: What are you talking about? What about sailing off and letting the current take us somewhere -- a whole new world?
Greenlee: I lied.
Ryan: Go get a job, Cap'n.
Greenlee: Can't grow up a spoiled brat and not pick up a hobby or two.
Ryan: Yeah, it was fun.
Ryan: It was fun.
Greenlee: It's just what I needed.
Ryan: And no talking -- that was a great idea.
Greenlee: Yeah, the silence helped it a lot.
Greenlee: You're an idiot, sailor.
Ryan: Get up there, Cap'n!
Greenlee: Anything you say, sailor.
Ryan: Captain Smythe.
Annie: Listen, Kendall. I'm sorry about before. It was uncalled for.
Kendall: Happens to the best of us.
Annie: We'll work it out, right?
Kendall: Yeah. Ryan's a good guy -- a decent guy -- and I know he cares about you very much.
Annie: I know.
Kendall: Well, having that should mean everything to you. I know it does to me with Zach.
Zach: What do we have here? Trains, huh? How are they?
Zach: Hey, little monkey. Who put these tracks together? You?
Zach: It's not bad.
Zach: Not bad at all.

>> On the next "All My Children" --
Aidan: What is this?
Greenlee: A peace offering? I was hoping we could start over.
J.R.: I'm going to take Chandler Enterprises, all of it.
Erica: You want to go from lunatic to hero? I can take you there, Adam.
