Jake: I don't even care if he is in a nut house. The minute that Adam said Dixie's name, I'd have clocked him.

Tad: I know. There was a day when I would have. Right now I'm telling you I feel sorry for him. He actually thinks he sees Dixie. He's talking to her.

Jake: Hmm, not like it could've been easy for you to listen to. With any luck, maybe they'll keep him there forever.

[Tad chuckles]

Tad: "With any luck"? Anyway, enough about the devil's golf -- thanks, Kyle --

Jake: Thank you.

Tad: Devil's golf partner. The good news is you're sticking around. What changed your mind?

Dixie's voice: You need to stay for Tad.

Jake: Is it a problem if I want to just spend a little time with my brother?

Greenlee: Oh, not in the mood for the bar tonight.

Kendall: I don't care. Too bad. You need it.

Greenlee: No, I need to be obsessing over the fact that Aidan is off somewhere trying to decide if he still wants to marry me.

Kendall: He will, ok? Come on. Oh, yummy, yummy, yummy. Hi.

Babe: We heard somebody needed a girls' night out.

Greenlee: Well, you heard wrong. If anyone wants me, I'm going to be home, watching "Love, Actually," and crying in my double fudge ripple. Thanks.

Amanda: Sit your butt down, Greenlee. We're here to cheer you up --

Kendall: Whether you like it or not.

Zach: Fine, I told you - good.

J.R.: I want the profit reports for Chandler Enterprises while it was a Cambias holding. You were supposed to surrender it to my father when he reacquired the company.

Zach: Since when are you running errands for your daddy?

J.R.: Since my father's in Geneva, closing a deal.

Zach: Geneva? Really? I heard he was on the other side of town in a padded cell.

Adam: No, I'm not going to let you do this, Dixie. You're not going to drive me crazy.

Dixie: That's not a "drive," Adam, that's a short putt.

Adam: Go to hell.

Dixie: That is exactly where you're going if you don't tell Tad where Kate is.

[Adam chuckles]

Dixie: Your soul is on the line, Adam.

Adam: Fine, right. It's yours, then, take it. Go ahead, take it. Just -- would you leave me in

Dixie: You would risk eternal damnation just to punish Tad?

Adam: No, I'm doing it to spite you.

Dixie: The moment is here, Adam. You cannot put it off any longer. Something terrible is about to happen.

Adam: Right! Enough with your dire predictions. You're threatening disasters? Fine. Let's see them. Come on. Bring it on. I can't wait.

Angie: I cannot believe that I've come down with conjunctivitis right before the wedding!

Jesse: Hey, relax. It's going to be fine.

Angie: I know, I know. I think the drops will clear it up by tomorrow. Hopefully.

Jesse: Yeah, it will. Think positive.

Angie: Hey, are you still worried about Cassandra?

Jesse: Uh, she just seemed a little more than off to me. It's just me. I'm not going to press it.

Angie: Well, honey, she might also be a little tired, like myself, from all our wedding plans. Hey, so, are you ready for me to make an honest man out of you?

Jesse: I've been ready for years.

[Jesse growls]

Angie: Yeah, you better not kiss me. I don't want to give you what I got.

Jesse: Oh, give me what you got.

[Knock on door]

Angie: Who could that be?

Frankie: Hey. Is Mom here?

Jesse: She's right behind me. Did you bring her surprise?

Angie: What surprise?

Greg: Just an old friend.

Angie: Oh. Oh, my God! Greg. Greg!

Greg: Hey, Angie.

Angie: Oh!

[Angie laughs]

Angie: Oh. I don't -- welcome back. Oh, my God, Greg!

Alan: Surprised you're still in town, Rob. Thought you would have cleared out by now.

Robert: Well, as it turns out, Pine Valley really suits me, and I have family here, and now that that Papel investigation's over, it just seemed like the right time to retire.

Alan: Well, unfortunately, we're going to need you to clear up some things about Papel for the Bureau.

Robert: I put everything I know in that report.

Alan: Well -- there were some discrepancies. We think you might have shot the wrong man.

[Jesse and Angie chuckles]

Angie: Shouldn't you be in Seattle?

Greg: Yeah, well, when Jesse called -- I mean, first, they had to pick me up off the floor. And, then, when he said you two were tying the knot again, I, um, I had to get on a plane.

Angie: Oh, Greg, I'm so glad you came.

Greg: Yeah. Jess, um -- this is -- amazing.

Jesse: Talk about it. It's so good to see you again.

Greg: "Good"? "Good"? This is this is like a dream come true. Come here, man!

[Jesse and Greg laugh]

Greg: Oh, and Frankie! Oh, my God. Look -- I mean, look at you! You're just so you're all big now!

Frankie: Yeah, it's been a long time.

Greg: I was there when you were born, dude.

Jesse: Sure was.

Angie: You know, there's only one thing that would make this moment more precious.

Greg: Yeah. Yeah, Jenny would have loved this.

Tad: So, you feel like talking about it?

Aidan: No.

Tad: Do it anyway.

Aidan: Turns out that Greenlee doesn't want me to be the father of her children.

Julia: And my visa is already approved, and I can be in Perth in a week. I'm looking forward to joining the clinic, too. Thanks, Mr. Cyrus.

Jake: Is that Perth, Pennsylvania, or Perth, Australia? Because that would be a hell of a commute.

Julia: Hmm. Jake. How are you? You're looking like you feel better.

Jake: I am, thank you. So, are you getting a new job? Is that what's going on? Because you're going to break my father's heart.

Julia: I know. Joe's always been so supportive of me, too. What about you? I thought you were going back to Africa.

Jake: Um, things don't always work out as -- as you plan.

Tad: I didn't even know you wanted kids.

Aidan: Well, not now, today, but, you know, eventually I want them.

Tad: And Greenlee doesn't -- like, forever?

Aidan: That's what she said.

Tad: Oh, well, there you go. Lord knows, women never change their mind about stuff like that.

Aidan: You weren't there, Tad. "Never" meant "never."

Tad: Well, I'm surprised.

Aidan: Yeah. Same here. But I think the world knows that she was ready to move heaven and earth to have Ryan's children.

Tad: No, wait a minute. This isn't some kind of measuring contest, is it?

Aidan: No. I'm just rethinking my future with Greenlee.

Babe: Are you sure about this, Greenlee? Not having children is a big decision.

Greenlee: Yes, I am.

Amanda: Personally, I think it's great that you want to live the romantic life with your man, instead of popping out rug rats. There are enough bad mothers in the world.

Greenlee: Ain't that the truth?

Amanda: Many can't be around sharp objects.

Babe: Well, I think Janet really loved you, Amanda.

Amanda: She blew up a house full of people for me. Thanks, Mom.

Greenlee: Well, my mom would have been a nun if it wasn't for pool boys and gardeners. Oh, let me not forget, um, all the other men on earth, half of whom she slept with.

Amanda: Her mom's Erica Kane.

Kendall: Who I happen to love and admire.

Greenlee: And who's also in jail. We've hit the mother lode, haven't we, ladies?

Babe: Hey, I like my mom.

Amanda: Shut up, Babe, you're ruining our theme.

Kendall: Ok, listen, please. The fact is we don't know what kind of mother we would be until we actually have a child. I thought I'd be a disaster.

Greenlee: Can you imagine what you would have been like if Erica actually raised you?

Kendall: Stop it. Stop, please.

Greenlee: Sorry. Old habits.

Babe: Listen, Greenlee, I'm just saying you need to keep your options open.

Greenlee: You know, I don't want that life anymore. I mean, I thought that I did, but I don't. And besides, it doesn't even matter, because when I told Aidan that I didn't want kids, he bolted.

Kendall: I'm sure Aidan just needs a little bit of time to think.

Greenlee: Enough about my romantic train wreck. Let's talk about someone else's drama, shall we? Babe?

Babe: Why me?

Amanda: Maybe because you have your own bizarre love triangle.

Greenlee: Who is it this week? Richie Novak or J.R.?

Babe: Actually, it turns out I was wrong about both of them. Especially J.R.

Zach: Did you really think I wouldn't find out if one of my chief competitors is in the loony bin?

J.R.: I need those numbers, Slater.

Zach: Now, word on the street is you're doing a really nice job with Chandler, that the board of directors wants to keep you on on a more permanent basis.

J.R.: Hmm. What, do you have a spy on my board now?

Zach: Who's to say?

J.R.: I'm not leaving here without those reports.

Zach: Ok. But it's going to cost you.

Dixie: You cannot beat fate, Adam. You can only control your own actions.

Adam: Tad took my life. The two of you took J.R. away from me when Martin was still a boy. And then he helped Liza run away with Colby. Now he has my Krystal.

Dixie: Do you realize that you are only thinking of yourself? You need to understand the pain and suffering that is coming.

Adam: Come on, come on. I can take whatever your universe throws at me.

Dixie: Well, what if it's not you that has to take it? What if the punishment comes to someone you love instead?

Adam: Are you threatening my family?

Dixie: I'm not threatening anyone. I'm simply trying to guide you to a decision to help you do the right thing.

Adam: What good is all this otherworldly power if you can't -- you're still as ineffectual as you were when you walked among the living.

Dixie: What is about to happen can only change if you do the right thing. If you don't, others will suffer.

Adam: You wait a minute. Come back here. Come back here! I want to know who's going to suffer.

Dixie: The ones you love the most.

Stuart: Adam?

Angie: Greg Nelson, this is my daughter, Cassandra Foster.

Greg: It's so nice to meet you.

Cassandra: Same here. No, this is really, really crazy. I just saw a picture of you somewhere.

Greg: Sorry? Where?

Cassandra: You guys' hair was a little different, and the clothes were kind of retro, but --

[Angie laughs]

Jesse: Oh, my gosh. Check us out.

Cassandra: Is that your girlfriend? She's beautiful.

Greg: Actually, she was my wife.

Angie: I told you about Jenny. She was Tad's sister and Jesse's best friend.

Jesse: Yeah, she was one of a kind. You know, we spent the whole summer in New York once.

Cassandra: Really?

Jesse: Mm-hmm. Hell's Kitchen. Hot as hell, too. You could practically fry an egg on the fire escape. Unbelievable.

Frankie: Where were you during all this, Mom?

Angie: Uh, that's a long story.

Greg: Yeah, your mom and I were waiting here for Jesse and Jenny to come home. I loved her so much.

Jesse: We all did.

Angie: Jenny and Greg had one of the great love stories this town has ever seen.

Frankie: Even bigger than you and Dad?

Jesse: Oh, I don't know about all of that.

Greg: We were good friends. The best.

Cassandra: So, why didn't Jenny come home with you for the wedding?

Greg: She passed away a long time ago.

Cassandra: Oh. I'm sorry.

Greg: No, that's ok.

Cassandra: I should have realized.

Greg: It's ok.

Jesse: I miss that girl so much.

Greg: Me, too. But for today, I'm just going to be happy that I have her best friend back.

Angie: Listen, let's get our things, because there is something the three of us need to do together.

Jesse: Well, when she cracks a whip, we scurry on.

Greg: See you two later?

Frankie: Oh, you bet.

Cassandra: See you.

Jesse: Seen my keys? Where are my keys? Oh, I got them. They're in my pocket.

[Frankie laughs]

Frankie: Oh, man, I'm going to get our stuff together so we can head over and check in to the hotel. My dad got us a room so we can get ready in the morning.

Cassandra: Cool. Ok, my dress is in my garment bag in the closet. Thanks, Filbert.

Frankie: Yes, Madame.

[Cassandra and Frankie laugh]

Robert: There must be some mistake. Papel is dead.

Alan: Well, that's what we thought, too, Rob, but things just aren't adding up the way that they should, you know, between the bank accounts and the paper trail. We just -- we need you to come down and help us figure this out.

Robert: Ok, I'll tell you what. I'm going to head over to the Bureau in a couple of days and we will just clear this all up, all right?

Alan: I'm sorry, Rob, but I need you to come with me now.

Robert: I can't leave town just right now. I have a very special event I have to attend.

Alan: Well, this can't wait. Orders.

Robert: You're just insistent, aren't you?

Alan: I'm afraid so.

Robert: All right. Let me get my bag. Alan?

Greg: It's been so long since I've been here.

Angie: It's where we need to be.

Jesse: What's up, kid? It's me. Guess who's here. We're all here. Me, Angie, and Greg. Together again. The only one missing is you.

Julia: There she is.

Jake: What a cutie.

Julia: Mm-hmm. I love Kathy more than I ever thought possible.

Aidan: I have to decide whether it is the kind of life that I want. You know? A life without kids.

Tad: That's a big decision. I understand. I feel for you. But you just keep in mind one thing. She's already made her choice. She has your ring on her finger. Now it's your turn. You got to decide what's more important to you. A future with kids you haven't met yet or a future with the woman you love.

Aidan: Incoming.

Tad: It's about time. Where'd you go? Milwaukee?

Aidan: This is your glass. Oh, look at you, cranky pants. He gets very cranky when he doesn't have his drink.

Tad: I'll have you know my dear friend here is in desperate need of some attitude adjustment.

Jake: Oh, really? Well, this should help. Here, let me pour. A little napkin action here. Oh, yeah!

Tad: Oh!

Kyle: Here you go.

Jake: Thank you. Oh. I think Colin made a bit of a mess. Want to make a toast?

Tad: Oh, yeah, definitely. The quickest way to get drunk -- and his name's Kyle, by the way --

Jake: What did I say?

Ted: Colin.

Jake: No, I didn't. I know his name.

Tad: No, really?

Aidan: Let's drink.

Tad: Ok, um -- to the beautiful creatures who make our lives so complex.

Jake: Salud.

Greenlee: So, you actually clocked a hooker for messing with your man?

Babe: J.R. is not my man, ok?

Amanda: Hmm, but you are starting to care about him again?

Babe: Well, of course, I care about him. He's Little A's daddy. I just felt really bad about accusing him of messing up.

Kendall: Why? J.R. is the king of lies.

Babe: Not this time.

Babe: Richie set him up. He kidnapped him and drugged him.

Kendall: What? Well, this is the last thing Annie needs to deal with, with her brother doing stuff like this.

Babe: Well, I haven't told her.

Greenlee: Well, what are you going to do about Richie?

Babe: Oh, that's easy. I'm going to get even.

J.R.: Forget it, Slater. They're not worth that much to me.

Zach: Not about money. I want your help. I want to find out who it was who ran me down in your car.

J.R.: Where did that come from?

Zach: Never went away. And I can't imagine it did for you, either, because whoever it was set you up to take the fall.

J.R.: I was blackout drunk that night, Slater. Someone stole my car.

Zach: I know that. Any thoughts?

J.R.: Well, suppose I had an idea who? I might even share it with you. But it will cost you.

Zach: Spoken like a true Chandler.

[J.R. chuckles]

J.R.: Well, in that case, I'll take it as a compliment.

Zach: Oh, it is, it is. I think it's time for you to step out of your daddy's shadow. Stop being a junior, Junior.

Adam: She was here, Stuart.

Stuart: Dixie again?

Adam: Yeah. She threatened me. Said people I love could get hurt.

Stuart: That doesn't sound like Dixie.

Adam: But who could she mean? Skye? Hayley? J.R.? Colby?

Stuart: Maybe you should just sit down.

Adam: Or maybe you. No, I can't let this happen. I've got to find a way to stop her!

Stuart: No, no, you stop, Adam. Stop!

Angie: I've been blessed with a miracle, Jenny, the best kind. My Jesse came back to me, and we're getting married again.

Jesse: And your boy Greg is going to help us celebrate. Wow, I miss you so much, especially that beautiful smile of yours.

Angie: And the way you laughed.

[Jesse chuckles]

Jesse: I remember that time we spent in New York -- that summer in the city.

Jenny: Just having you here with me, that's plenty enough for me. Before you got here, I didn't know what I was going to do. I was just -- I was just unbelievable. At least now I feel like a person.

Angie: You were such a good friend to us both back then.

Greg: Hey, Jenny. It's been a long time. I'm sorry about that. You know, I still remember the way you looked on the first day we met. Hey, my name's Greg.

Jenny: Yeah, I know. You're Greg Nelson. You're running for class president.

Greg: Boy, did I fall -- I fell so hard for you that day and I just kept falling for you all year long. But sometimes, it just seemed like the whole world was against us.

Enid: That girl is little better than a common --

Greg: Mom, you have no right to say that about Jenny! Jenny! The letter that you wrote me telling me how you feel, Jenny -- I didn't get that letter until today.

Jenny: What?

Greg: They kept it from me. My mother, Amanda, and that jerk out there that you almost married! Jenny, I -- I never stopped loving you.

Priest: Give her the ring.

Greg: I give you this ring as a symbol of my vow and with all that I am and all that I have, I honor you in the name of God.

Greg: I meant it, Jenny. I never stopped loving you.

[Greg sobs]

Greg: And I never will.

[Frankie hums]

Frankie: You ready?

Cassandra: For what?

Frankie: To head to the casino.

Cassandra: The wedding's not till tomorrow.

Frankie: We talked about this, remember? My dad got us a room so that we could get ready in the morning.

Cassandra: Right. Yes. Let me pack my journal.

Frankie: Do you have to lug that backpack everywhere you go?

Cassandra: It has my makeup and beauty mask. I need it to sleep.

[Frankie sighs]

Frankie: Fine. Let's go.

Robert: Well, if everything goes as planned, by tomorrow, I'll have my prize.

[In his apartment, Robert seals the chest with the agent inside and leaves]

Greg: I miss you, Jenny. I'm so grateful to have Jesse back, but a part of me can't help wishing that we could have our own miracle, because this world's a better place with you in it. I'll see you again. I'll see you again someday.

[Greg kisses his finger then touches the tombstone that reads: Jennifer Gardner Nelson, Forever Our Sweet Jenny, January 20, 1964 - August 13, 1984)

Adam: I know what you're thinking, but I haven't lost my mind. Dixie was here.

Stuart: Yeah, I believe you.

Adam: You do?

Stuart: Yeah. But I'm not sure the doctor will -- the doctor that's going to examine you tomorrow -- tomorrow morning. And if you act normal, you know, and tell him that you're not going to hurt yourself, then he'll let you come home.

Adam: God, I want to get out of here.

Stuart: Yeah, I know you do. When you get home, well, maybe I could talk to Dixie again, ask her to stop haunting you for a while.

Adam: God knows she won't listen to me. I'm sorry if I scared you.

Stuart: No, don't be sorry. You just come home to where you belong.

[Stuart leaves]

Dixie: This is my last warning. The only way to protect the people you love is to do what's right.

J.R.: Well, I am quite surprised, Slater. I didn't realize you thought so highly of me.

Zach: Oh, I always knew you had potential. It's good to be the boss. It makes everything seem possible.

J.R.: Mm-hmm. I want those reports on my desk by midnight or you will be hearing from our attorneys.

Zach: Think about what I said, Junior. We have a common enemy. Together, we can take him down.

Jesse: All right.

Angie: Cassandra?

Jesse and Angie: Frankie?

Jesse: Oh, you know what? They're probably on their way to the hotel already. Greg said he's going to meet them there.

Angie: Baby, I am so happy that you called him.

Jesse: Are you kidding me? He was such a huge part of our past. There's no reason he shouldn't be a big part of our future, you know?

Angie: And Jenny will always be with us, too, in our hearts.

Jesse: Oh, ho-ho. Look at this.

Angie: What's that? Oh, oh. Look what she did. That's beautiful.

Jesse: She is really good.

Angie: Oh, Jesse, Greg is here, our children are standing up for us. I am so happy.

Jesse: Me, too, baby. Move over, let me get in that happy tub with you.

[Angie chuckles]

[Jesse chuckles]

Jesse: Oh.

Angie: Well, listen. We better get going, check into the hotel.

Jesse: Yeah. You know what? I'm going to drive you over. I think I'm going to stay here tonight.

Angie: You sure?

Jesse: Yeah, yeah. A few things I've got to take care of.

Angie: Ok. All right, well, listen. I'm going to go get my bag, and I'll be right back.

[Music plays at The Comeback]

Kyle: There you go.

Jake: Oh, thank you. Because I was -- thank you.

Tad: Come on. One more time. To women -- can't live with them, can't kill them.

Aidan: Doesn't mean we can't try, though, does it?

Tad: You try. Personally, I have a lot of fun pandering to the fairer sex.

Jake: Ooh, look at this, it's 2008 and Tad the Cad is still alive.

Tad: Don't help. That's very attractive. Haven't you got lives to save?

Jake: I'm just saying that that's the way you're going to be remembered.

Tad: Are you really sure you want to stick around?

Aidan: No, but listen. When it really comes down to it, are women worth the trouble that they put us through?

Greenlee: If this thing falls apart with Aidan, I'm done with men for good.

Kendall: Yeah, right.

Babe: That is never going to happen.

Amanda: Uh, paging Greenlee's next hottie.

Greenlee: No, I mean it. Are they really worth the effort? One day they want you, the next they don't.

Aidan: They say things they don't mean.

Greenlee: They leave the toilet seat up.

Aidan: And they get lipstick on your toothbrush.

Greenlee: Or wear the same socks two days in a row. Eh.

Aidan: And there's always a schedule. I mean, they can't just let you watch the game.

Greenlee: There's so many cables coming out of the back of my TV, it looks like something from "The Matrix."

Aidan: It's not worth it.

Greenlee: Where is the upside?

Amanda: I can think of one.

Greenlee: Life is about more than sex.

Tad: [Australian accent] Are you sure you can live without this relationship?

Babe: Are you ready to live the rest of your life without Aidan?

Greenlee: I mean, I have a choice.

Aidan: Besides, there are worse things than breaking up.

Greenlee: I've got great friends, a thriving business, kick-ass shoe collection. My life is good with or without Aidan.

Aidan: No matter what happens between me and Greenlee, I'm still damn lucky.

Greenlee: Where's the guacamole? I'll go see what's holding it up.

Aidan: We need another pitcher. I'm going to go find Kyle.

Singer: The differences between the distances we feel and all we really need

[Phone rings]

Aidan's voice: This is Devane. Leave a message, and I'll get back to you.

[Beep]

[Phone rings]

Greenlee's voice: Hi, it's Greenlee. I'm not here, but I can't wait to call you back.

[Beep]

Singer: Is understanding

J.R.: What is taking so long? He's been in there with the doctor for over an hour. Dad?

Adam: I'm going to keep you all safe, home where you belong.

J.R.: Come on.

Kendall: Hmm. Good morning.

Zach: I agree.

Kendall: Were you watching me sleep?

Zach: I was.

Kendall: Why?

Zach: Because I love you.

Kendall: I love you, too. Very much.

Zach: Yeah?

Kendall: Yeah, I do.

[Aidan and Greenlee begin a new day at their respective homes, sad that there is no message on their phones from the other.]

[Cassandra screeches as she admires her new dress. Her stuffed elephant is in her backpack.]

[People cheer in the casino while Rob gambles]

Robert: Baby, I got it good. Oh, that was a good one. I know how to do that. I've played -- I've played this game before. You can just tell. Let's try it again. Give me those dice. There we go, there we go. I'm a little crazy. You have to excuse me. You're awful cute. Here we go. And one more time. Yes, ma'am! Yes, ma'am! I got it! Yeah! Oh, baby!

[Jake stares at an old wedding photo of Tad and Dixie, then fingers the ring on a chain around his neck.]

Tad: Yeah. Come on. Come on.

[Dixie helps Tad put on his cufflinks]

Tad: Hmm.

Angie: Thank you.

[Angie admires a bouquet of yellow flowers she just received]

Jesse: Yeah.

[Jesse chuckles as he lays out his suit and admires the wedding ring]

Jesse: Nice.

Jesse: This is it, baby.

[Angie chuckles]

Angie: My wedding day.

>> On the next "All My Children" --

Tad: It's going to be a great day.

Dixie: No, it's not, Tad.

Jack (to Greenlee): Aidan and Kendall betrayed you. Oh, sweetheart, I am so, so sorry.

Jesse: I can't believe you made it.

Ne-Yo: I'm singing for your lady.
