Samuel: Good. Check every inch of every road, ravine, and river. Work it, and then rework it. Do not forget, under any circumstances, they are armed.
Jack: No, you tell them Erica is not armed, that Erica is a hostage!
Zach: Jack, Jack --
Jack: No, you listen to me. What -- what the hell is going on here, Sam?
Samuel: Call, check in with me every half-hour. You got it? Yeah, good! We've got all our available manpower. That's what we can do.
Jack: How the hell did this happen? Where is Erica?
Carmen: Everything but warm nuts and free bubbly. Ok, so it's not first class, but it beats walking.
Erica: Until the driver opens the door and he finds us. And then what?
Carmen: That's what this is for, chica.
Tad: If it isn't my favorite sun bunny fresh back from the land of La.
Aidan: What do you mean? I've been back for weeks.
Tad: Yep, but you haven't shared. Last I remembered, we had sun, surf, sand, and Kendall. How did it go?
Aidan: Well, I'd rather hear about that dealer that you took down.
Tad: I don't want to brag too much about that, you know? Basically, your "crazed drug lord dead, Frankie, Angie, Jesse free to live a normal life, Colby once again safe to shop a mall" scenario. All in all, a pretty satisfying piece of work.
Aidan: So it looks like the good guys won.
Tad: Looks like.
Tad: What do you mean, "and"? That's not enough? Blimey twerp. I was just sitting here tying up some loose ends between my new uncle and the F.B.I.
Aidan: I didn't know you had an uncle.
Tad: Yeah, well, that's another story. Now it's your turn. Come on. I want details. Tell me about the Zach/Kendall thing.
Aidan: What do you mean, "thing -- thing"? What is that?
Tad: What do you mean, what do I mean, "thing -- thing -- what is that"? The -- the security detail thing.
Aidan: Well, I might take it on full-term.
Tad: Is Ryan that much of a problem?
Aidan: No, Zach asked me if I was interested in, you know, coming onboard full-time.
Tad: [British accent] Fish 'n' Chips? Say it's not so. Are you breaking up with me?
Aidan: No, and it's no serious offers yet, Thaddeus boy.
Tad: [Normal voice] I'm glad to hear it. So -- how does Kendall feel about all this?
Aidan: Well, it didn't come up.
Tad: And you, Aidan?
Aidan: Feel like Chinese?
Tad: I don't know. Do you feel like telling me what you got yourself into?
Greenlee: How fabulous are we? Thanks to us, these bottles of Harm! perfume will never hit store shelves.
Greenlee: I mean, the way we all pitched in -- you, me, Ryan, and Aidan -- it was amazing. The stores are happy, customers are happy, we're happy. I mean, not "happy" happy. I guess you could say it worked like a charm.
Greenlee: Oh, come on, Annie, we have to work together. You're mad at me, I get that, but we've got to stay on top of things for Kendall. With poor Erica missing --
Annie: "Poor Erica"? Come on, Greenlee, I'm the only one here, so stop pretending you care.
[Knock on door]
Kendall: Hey, Opal, you know what? I have to go. Someone's at the door. Ok. Yeah, thanks. I hope it's the answer to my prayers, too. Bye. Hmm.
Jack: You know, I got two questions. One, how can Erica Kane walk into a convenience store handcuffed to another woman and not be noticed? And, two, why the hell was she handcuffed to a potentially violent prisoner?
Samuel: Well, that's a good question, Jack, and that was not my call.
Jack: This whole thing is your call, Sam. You know, those guards were pretty banged up. Maybe Erica was hurt.
Samuel: Listen, man, I understand your concern. But from what we know, she's ok. She was not hurt.
Jack: Yeah, but you don't know much, though, do you? So why don't you go play with your maps here and go get some answers?
Carmen: You want some cheese?
Erica: Oh, no, thank you. Look, Carmen, you wouldn't really use that thing, would you?
Carmen: The gun? Huh. I'm saving it for the man who deserves to be shot through the heart. May my ex-fiancÚ rest in hell.
Erica: Carmen, listen to me, you really have to rethink this whole thing. Killing Armando is just going to make things worse for you than they already are.
Carmen: He's a pig. He lied to me. He swore he loved me, then he let me take the fall.
Erica: Well, let the police deal with him.
Carmen: Mando broke my heart. Can they fix that?
Erica: Well, killing him isn't going to fix it, either.
Carmen: I'll feel better.
Erica: This is the part you keep missing, Carmen. You're not going to feel better if you kill Armando and spend the rest of your life in jail.
Carmen: No, if I get caught, it'll totally be worth it.
Erica: Nothing is worth that. Carmen, you must have dreams. You must have something you want to do. All that will be gone.
Carmen: I only have one dream now, and I plan to make it come true.
Erica: Carmen, listen to me. I meant what I said -- I could help you. We'll have all of your -- your charges reassessed. They'll be looked into, possibly even dropped. And I'll make sure that they really catch Armando.
Carmen: Lady with all the power cuffed to my arm -- makes me think you're not so powerful. I'll take my chances. One shot, that's all I need. How long you think until we get to Chicago? Huh. Too bad we can't drop in on Oprah. Her show's almost as good as yours.
Erica: Yeah, well, Oprah wouldn't approve of what you're doing at all.
Carmen: Oprah believes in empowerment, and this makes me feel very empowered.
Erica: That is not at all what she means.
Carmen: I know what I'm doing!
Newscaster: Prisoners Erica Kane and Carmen Morales escaped when their transport van crashed. Authorities believe one of the women is armed, and they're heading to the Chicago area. We'll have --
[Turns off TV]
Aidan: Erica's on the lam. Have you spoken to Jack?
Tad: Jackson's on top of it. But you know, Kendall might need somebody to peel her off the ceiling.
Aidan: Well, she has her husband for that.
Tad: You know, you never answered my question.
Aidan: Are we really back to that, Tad?
Tad: Yeah, we're back to that. Because when you left for Los Angeles with Kendall, you wouldn't even share the SPF with her. And now, you're considering long-term employment.
Aidan: Zach -- Zach asked me if I was interested, all right? I mean, I -- I mean, I didn't say -- I didn't say whether I'd do it or not.
Tad: You're not saying a whole lot of things.
Aidan: It's just a job, Thaddeus. A job. I'm helping out friends, that's it.
Tad: "Kind of friends." "Kind of friends" -- those are you words. About Kendall before you left, right?
Aidan: Is there a problem?
Tad: Well, not for me. [British accent] It's you I'm worried about, mate.
Aidan: Well, don't be.
Tad: [Normal voice] "Don't be"? Ok. Let's review, shall we? We have Zach, we have Kendall. We have Ryan, we have Annie, we have Greenlee. Husbands, lovers, wives, exes -- oh, and let's not forget a healthy dose of memory loss just to make things interesting. And right in the middle of it is you. So, I just got one question for you. Slightly curious. How long do you actually think it's going to be before somebody loses it, and everything goes kablooie?
Greenlee: Huh -- I do care about what happens to Erica.
Annie: Good for you.
Greenlee: And I care about you, too, Annie. I -- I didn't at first, but --
Annie: Ok, but we have a lot of work to do, Greenlee. What are you doing?
Greenlee: What I said last night -- I'm sorry, ok? It just came out. I'm sorry that I told you I kissed Ryan. I'm sorry that I told you it was my idea for him to pretend to remember you. You want more sorrys? Because I'll keep them coming --
Annie: How clueless are you, Greenlee? It's not what you said, it's what you did.
Greenlee: What, try to help you?
Annie: How would you feel if Aidan lied to you?
Greenlee: He wouldn't.
Annie: Are you sure? What if it was to help you, or make you "feel better"? You'd be ok with that?
Greenlee: You're totally blowing this out of proportion. I just wanted to give you and Ryan a little kick-start.
Annie: Did you really think I wouldn't figure it out, Greenlee? Ryan would just keep coming up with all these phony memories describing all these pictures in our albums, reciting all the right words, and I wouldn't feel the truth?
Greenlee: Oh, all right, all right, it was a bad idea. Ok, I am sorry -- for the advice, for the kiss --
Annie: Oh, right, and there's the kiss -- there's always that.
Greenlee: Everyone is experimenting with different ways to snap Ryan out of this -- for him and for you.
Annie: No. That kiss was not about me, it was about you. You kissed Ryan because you still want him.
Ryan: I heard about your mom.
Ryan: May I come in?
Ryan: Ah. Is Zach home?
Kendall: No, actually, he went to pick up Jack from the airport to bring him to the police station.
Ryan: Which is probably where you want to be. I could give you a ride over there, if you want.
Kendall: No, it's ok. I was actually sent home, so I could sit and wait by the phone in case my mom calls. But the truth is, I think they just didn't want me to freak out at the police station.
Ryan: Ah, I see. Because you could do that here just fine.
Kendall: It shows?
Ryan: Well, yeah, I know you a little bit, so -- come on, a friend could help. Maybe we could just talk or something -- or not talk. Just have some coffee. Or no coffee, and hang out with Spike and Ian.
Kendall: No. You know why? Because they're sleeping. Hopefully, they're sleeping.
Kendall: Yeah, it's naptime.
Ryan: Speaking of Spike, look what I picked up on the way over.
Kendall: Oh -- this is so --
Ryan: Yeah, for his train set.
Kendall: I love this.
Kendall: Well, thank you. Spike will love it.
Kendall: Oh. Hello? No, we already have a subscription, thank you. Zach told me last night that I should just hang on to things and -- and just focus on the future, and -- and think six months from now, everything's going to be fine. My mom is going to be out of prison, and everything will be normal again. And I could do that. I mean, that I could focus on and hang on to that. But now, she's got this crazy woman who's dragging her around taking her God knows where.
Ryan: Erica is going to have this woman turning herself in in no time, ok? I guarantee, whoever this person is, she is no match for your mom.
Kendall: I like the way you think. But the van crashed, Ryan. My mom could be hurt. And there's nothing I can do about it. Nothing.
Ryan: Ahem. Well, you're not alone.
Kendall: Um -- I am going to give this to Spike when he wakes up.
Ryan: Kendall, that wasn't a move to, you know --
Kendall: I -- I know that, Ryan.
Ryan: Which is why you're halfway across the room, right?
Kendall: No, I'm just -- I'm -- I'm cleaning up the toys.
Ryan: You're avoiding me is what you're doing.
Kendall: No, I'm really not, ok? I promise you.
Ryan: Aidan's not going to pop out of the closet and bounce me out of this place, is he?
Kendall: No, actually, he's not.
Ryan: Ok, good. Good, because I -- I know what year it is, ok? I do. I know you and me, and we're just friends. I know that, all right? I know Zach may have some issues with me still, and I understand that completely, but -- the only reason that I'm here right now -- the only reason -- is just to help you.
Jack: So who's this Carmen Morales? She looks familiar. So what do you have on her?
Samuel: Her trial was right before Erica's. We caught the tail end of it, remember?
Jack: Yeah, she was the one that bum rushed the bailiff, right? Said she was Erica's biggest fan?
Zach: Yeah, I met her briefly. She seemed impressed with Erica.
Samuel: We're still getting more information on her. She's a first time offender.
Jack: Armed robbery is a hell of a first offense.
Samuel: Oh, yeah. And Carmen was involved with this man, Armando Domingo Ortiz. A career criminal. They robbed a bank together, or he did it. That's her story. He got away with the money, and she got arrested.
Jack: So why is Erica heading to Chicago?
Samuel: Well, that's where Ortiz's mother lives. My guess is Carmen's trying to hook up with him. We interviewed Ortiz's mom.
Zach: And you think the mother will turn him in?
Samuel: No, not a chance.
Samuel: But she says she hasn't seen her son, and from what we can tell, she's telling the truth. He's nowhere to be found.
Jack: So in other words, you have no idea where this Ortiz is?
Samuel: No, Jackson, I don't have a crystal ball, man.
Jack: Yeah, well, Sam, maybe you should get one, because clearly that would be better than whatever the hell you're using now, because you got nothing!
Zach: Hey --
Jack: All right, all right, all right.
Samuel: Listen, hey, I know you're concerned about Erica. Believe it or not, so am I.
Erica: So what if Armando isn't even in Chicago after we get there?
Carmen: Always with the negativity. He'll be there. I bet every cent of the cash he stole.
Erica: Well, how can you be so sure?
Carmen: His mommy lives on the South Side.
Erica: Well, maybe he was just planning to send his mommy a post card. I mean, Armando could be out of the country by now.
Carmen: Mando wouldn't take two steps unless la vieja -- his old lady -- told him to. No way he'd jump a border.
Erica: Mando's a mama's boy?
Carmen: Can you believe my luck? A liar that's tied to his mommy. Her cooking is better than mine. She irons his shirts better. She calls, he drops everything.
Erica: Wow. I mean, relationships are hard enough without having an interfering mother.
Carmen: You're telling me.
Erica: I make it a point never to get involved in my daughters' relationships.
Carmen: You're a good mother. Hey, you should discuss this on your show, "New Beginnings." How nosy mothers should stay the hell out of their sons' lives.
Erica: That's a thought.
Carmen: Hmm. I'd be married if it wasn't for that old lady. She's never even met me, but her boy -- nobody's good enough for her son. Huh. I mean, who's the bank robber? Who's the criminal?
Erica: Carmen, listen to me. I really -- something tells me you'd be much better off without him.
Carmen: Yeah, well, that's why we're going to Chicago. To be without him permanently.
Carmen: Your man, Jackson Montgomery -- he doesn't dance when his mommy snaps her fingers, or anyone else, right?
Erica: No, he doesn't.
Carmen: He's fine, strong, macho. You're lucky.
Erica: I am. But he's not exactly mine. We're divorced.
Carmen: I saw the way he looked at you at the courthouse. Total amor. Was it love at first sight?
Man's voice: Ms. Kane?
Erica's voice: Yeah?
Man's voice: There's a gentleman here to see Mr. Montgomery.
Jack: But I'd be just as happy to see you.
Erica: Hmm. I knew my life was going to change.
Jack: You know, I think you are the most frustrating woman that --
Erica: Like it?
Erica: The coat?
Jack: And what's in it.
Carmen: It's like a dream.
Erica: Yeah. But not always. We fought. Sometimes for each other.
Jack's voice: You're out of control. You didn't give one moment's thought to my daughter, because, Erica, when you're drinking, the only person you care about is yourself. And if you're going to continue drinking, I don't want you around Lily anymore. In fact, I don't want you around me anymore.
Erica: And we fought against each other. We hurt each other. We made horrible choices.
Erica: But we always came back to each other.
Jack's voice: You could never lose me. Not a chance. You're as much a part of my life as Lily is. Because you know what? You took root in my heart the day I met you. And you will live there until the day I die.
Erica: "You are my heart" -- that's what he told me on our wedding day.
Carmen: So, what happened? Why aren't you two settled in that "happily ever after" place?
Jack: Erica, I don't love you anymore.
Erica: It's very complicated.
Jack: Well, this is unexpected, isn't it, Sam? You thought you were going to be giving a speech about justice being served, instead of a speech about Erica Kane being held hostage somewhere, and you have no idea where the hell she is.
Zach: He didn't crash the van, Jackson.
Jack: No, he put her in it!
Samuel: Listen -- you want somebody to take the blame? Would that make you feel better? Because my suggestion is you back the hell up and let me find the lady.
Samuel: Yeah? No, Carl, I can't talk right now. That's right.
Jack: No time for your campaign manager, huh? Poll numbers a little off when you lose a celebrity prisoner? You know, you could've given her a suspended sentence. You could've not prosecuted her at all, but that wouldn't have helped your Senate campaign, would it?
Zach: Jack --
Zach: Let's get out of here.
Jack: You know? And go where, Zach? And go where? Do what? Erica is in trouble, and there's not one damn thing I can do to help her.
Greenlee: Huh -- I don't want Ryan.
Annie: Right, if you say so, must be true.
Greenlee: I am so sorry I put my lips on his.
Annie: You know what? This isn't even the first time you kissed Ryan since you got back to town.
Greenlee: That was a long time ago, totally different.
Annie: Ok, so -- so let me get this straight. Last time, you kissed him to help him remember how much he loved you. This time, you kissed him to help him remember how much he loves me?
Greenlee: Stop, Annie, ok? It was a completely innocent kiss.
Annie: Is that how Aidan feels about it? He doesn't mind at all, you kissing your ex-husband?
Greenlee: We trust each other.
Annie: Then why didn't you tell him?
Greenlee: It never came up. You know, we really need to get to these invoices.
Annie: Wow. Aidan must be really understanding. He didn't seem so understanding last night.
Greenlee: Don't worry about us. Aidan and I will be fine.
Annie: Hmm. Unless, of course, he's forgotten you. Maybe I should step in -- kiss him, jog his memory. Or hell, you know what? Maybe I should take him to bed -- see if that'll help him remember you.
Aidan: You're looking for something that just isn't there.
Tad: Mate, there is so much there, I don't even know where to begin.
Tad: Damn. You want a shot?
Aidan: No. You're fine. You're having way too much fun by yourself.
Tad: Oh, come on, what do you want from me? You're protecting Zach's wife, your ex-lover -- you know, from Ryan, who is her ex-lover -- who, by the way, was married to your girlfriend, Greenlee, who just happens to be Kendall's, you know, best friend and business associate. And they both work with Annie, who's Ryan's current wife, who, strangely enough, is the only woman he doesn't remember. That scenario has so many sharp edges on it, it sounds like a French cocktail party.
Kendall: Oh, before I forget -- I was thinking, maybe you and Annie could take spike to the petting zoo on the weekend, just because, you know, with everything going on with my mother --
Ryan: Yeah -- no, no, I'll -- I'll take him.
Kendall: And Annie?
Ryan: Oh, probably not.
Kendall: Why? Ryan, I thought -- I thought things were going so well with you guys. You were remembering so much.
Ryan: Yeah. About that -- well -- um -- basically, I lied. I lied about everything. I -- I don't remember Annie at all.
Kendall: That's crazy. Of course, you do. You -- you told us about the wedding and the horse.
Ryan: You are the only woman that I remember being in love with.
Aidan: Listen, I know what I'm doing, all right?
Tad: Fine. I just cannot believe that Zach was that trusting.
Aidan: Why not? Listen, what Kendall and I had was a long time ago. We're friends, that's it
Tad: Don't I know it. She was lucky to have you when Zach and Greenlee were missing.
Aidan: She's -- she's a pain in the ass, Tad, all right, and she still is.
Tad: How are you and Greenlee getting along?
Aidan: Great, couldn't be better.
Tad: Ah, glad to hear it.
Aidan: What, no more advice?
Tad: No, no, no -- I'm done. I'm just thrilled you're one big, happy family.
[Aidan snaps pencil]
Ryan: The only real memories that I have the last four years are of you.
Kendall: Ok, so you led her on? You let her hope that -- that you remembered her?
Ryan: Well, I didn't mean to hurt her, all right, Kendall? I thought I was doing the -- the right thing. Yeah, Greenlee thought --
Ryan: Yeah, she thought that if I did this that it would get us back on track a little bit --
Kendall: Oh, my God. You're taking relationship advice from Greenlee? Are you crazy -- are you kidding me? I -- that's just ridiculous. I'm calling her.
Ryan: No, no, no, no, don't --
Kendall: No, no --
Ryan: Don't -- don't call her. Please don't.
Kendall: No, no, she should not be doing this, it's wrong.
Ryan: It's on me, all right? This was my idea. This was my choice -- I thought it would make everything better. It was me.
Kendall: Ok -- by lying to your wife? I mean, telling her her coffee's bad is one thing, but this is -- this is not right, Ryan.
Ryan: I thought that if I pretended that I got my memory back with my life with Annie, that --
Kendall: That what -- you could just add water, stir, and you have instant love? You had to know that this would hurt Annie. I mean, you had to know that --
Ryan: I thought it was worth the risk, all right, because I can't go on living like this, Kendall -- I can't. I can't go on being stuck in 2004. I am desperate now. I am desperate to remember my life, to remember my wife -- you know, the woman that I share my life with, my bed with, my kids -- my kids. And honestly, I -- I don't want you running away from me every time I try to touch you. I don't want that, I'm tired of that.
Kendall: I'm sorry. How did Annie find out?
Ryan: Ah, it doesn't matter.
Kendall: Uh -- yeah, it does. You don't get to stop there. Come on.
Ryan: Well, um, Greenlee thought that --
Kendall: Oh, God -- of course, Greenlee. What -- what the hell was she thinking?
Ryan: Well, it was just a case of her mouth going a little bit faster than her brain -- you know that happens sometimes.
Kendall: Yeah, yeah, I do. Annie had so much hope. How is she?
Ryan: I don't know. I don't know. She -- she slammed the door on me, she locked it. I don't know. I mean, it probably didn't help that Greenlee decided to tell her that one of the methods she used to jar my memory was to give me a kiss.
Kendall: Oh. No.
Kendall: Oh. Hello?
Zach: Hey, beautiful. How are you holding up?
Kendall: Is there news? Have you heard anything about Mom?
Zach: Uh -- no, not yet, but Jackson almost put Sam in a headlock.
Kendall: Ok, I know you're kidding, but I would love to see that.
Zach: You ok there?
Kendall: Uh -- yeah. Except for crazy with worry, I'm fine.
Zach: And the boys?
Kendall: They're great. They're napping.
Zach: You sure? I can come home if you need me to.
Kendall: No, that's -- that's ok. I'm good.
Zach: Are you ok?
Kendall: Actually, I'm not alone. Ryan came over. Zach?
Zach: Yeah, I think I heard somebody throw a chair. I got to go, I love you.
Kendall: I love you, too.
Annie: What is so funny?
Greenlee: You and Aidan -- as if he would sleep with anyone besides me. I mean, no offense -- you're just not really his type.
Annie: You know, it's amazing. You get pulled from this bomb shelter and everybody acts like you're a flippin' saint, but you know what? You were a bitch -- you were before, and you still are.
Greenlee: You know, you might want to take it down.
Annie: You know, you didn't kiss Ryan to help me. You kissed Ryan because he remembers being in love with Kendall, but he doesn't remember being in love with you, and you can't stand it.
Greenlee: That is so not true.
Annie: You always have to win, Greenlee. You always have to be the smartest and the hottest, and if somebody has what you want, you take it.
Greenlee: If you can't handle some simple lip action --
Annie: Look, look, Ryan might have lost his memory, but I haven't. You came to Pine Valley, and you wanted my husband. Oh -- and not to mention --
Annie: You also wanted Kendall's baby, and you did your damnedest to get them.
Greenlee: All I've done recently is try to help you, so back off.
Annie: What, the way you helped Kendall when she trusted you with her son? How did that work out for you? Oh -- wait, that's right.
Greenlee: It must be hell to be you. Ryan remembers Kendall, he remembers me -- hell, he remembers the way he likes his toast, but you? Nothing. Maybe because you're not so special, maybe because there's nothing about you worth remembering.
Carmen: You're crazy -- you know that?
Erica: I'm not the one with a gun determined to kill my ex-fiancÚ.
Carmen: Mando's spit compared to the guy you dumped.
Erica: You just don't know the whole story.
Carmen: Oh. For a smart woman, you're awfully stupid. You think if you get bored, you can just go pick up yourself another Jack?
Erica: What Jack and I had was wonderful, but it --
Carmen: "Wonderful"? Ha-ha. Now I know you're lying, sissy word like that -- "wonderful." Jack rocked your world, and he still does.
Erica: Sorry to disappoint you, Carmen, but Jack and I don't have a future.
Jack: I mean, really -- how hard can it be to find a world-famous woman shackled to a convict with a gun? You'd think somebody would've seen something by now -- what's that?
Samuel: Something for the Morales file.
Jack: Another picture of Carmen, huh? That's -- that's a hell of a contribution there, yeah.
Zach: All right. I'm going to get some fresh air -- are you interested?
Jack: No, you go ahead.
Zach: Let me know the minute you hear anything.
Samuel: Of course.
Officer: Mr. Woods?
Officer: WRCW is on the line. They want to know if you've scheduled a press conference to update the media.
Jack: Well, if he hasn't, he soon will. he likes his close-ups, you know.
Samuel: No, nothing scheduled at this time. Thanks, bro.
Jack: What's the matter -- your campaign manager angry with you for screwing this up?
Samuel: Jack, why don't you back the hell up?
Jack: I'm not going to stand here and let you use Erica for sound bites and photo opportunities.
Samuel: I am not using anyone for anything, man. Listen, you are way too emotionally involved.
Jack: Yeah. So?
Samuel: So I'm going to give you a pass --
Jack: I don't need a pass from you, Sam! Let me tell you something -- anything happens to Erica, she so much as breaks a fingernail, I'm coming at you with everything I have.
Ryan: Annie was freaked out enough, and now with the lies and with the kiss, I think it might be safer hiding out in 2004.
Ryan: I'm kidding. Kendall, it was a joke.
Kendall: Ok. What are you going to do?
Ryan: I'm going to get my memory back -- that's what I'm going to do.
Kendall: Well, any ideas?
Ryan: Well, I can't stay like this -- that's for sure.
Kendall: No, we can't.
Ryan: You mind if I hang with Spike for a while?
Kendall: Yeah, I think he would love that. He'd love his daddy to give him kisses and play with the choo-choo train.
Kendall: Thanks for coming by.
Ryan: Hmm. It's going to get easier, Kendall. I promise.
Greenlee: I'm sorry. I -- I shouldn't have said that.
Annie: Which part? That my husband has forgotten me, because I'm so unmemorable?
Greenlee: All of it. And you're right -- I was a jerk when I came back to town.
Annie: Well, I shouldn't have said those things, either.
Greenlee: Seems to be a lot of that going around. And what you said about me -- pretty much true. I did all of those things, and I'm sorry for them -- for everything. I'm sure Ryan will remember you any day now. He loves you, Annie. And there are a lot of things about you worth remembering -- like not to piss you off.
Greenlee: Forgive me?
Samuel: Come on, Erica. Where are you?
Carmen: You got it bad --
Erica: I don't.
Carmen: Sitting there all moony.
Erica: No, I'm not.
Carmen: Oh. The Jackman must be crazy worried about you. He'll probably swoop in, put on his cape, and come and save you -- and I'd even let him, maybe. "You are my heart" -- did he really say that?
Tad: So what do you say -- you still up for some Chinese? Maybe some dim sum, huh? Some beers?
Aidan: I've got some sources that I need to research. What about you? Are those cases you're working on?
Aidan: You know what? You have way too much time on your hands, Tad.
Tad: At least I know a minefield when I see one. I'm worried for my partner.
Kendall: Hello? Oh -- it's you.
Greenlee: Huh. Thanks a lot. No word on Erica?
Kendall: None. Everything ok at Fusion?
Greenlee: I could use a friend.
Kendall: You ok?
Greenlee: Can you come?
Kendall: Yeah, I'll be right there. Meet me at ConFusion.
Greenlee: Ok. So, you and me -- we're good?
Annie: We're good.
Greenlee: I'm glad.
Annie: Me, too. So, any big plans tonight?
Greenlee: Um -- I'm just headed down to ConFusion. You?
Annie: No. Probably just another boring night at home.
Greenlee: Hmm, yeah -- I need more of those.
Greenlee: See ya.
Annie: Bye. Hmm. Or maybe -- I'll make this a night worth remembering.
[Zach arrives home and comes face-to-face with Ryan]
>> On the next "All My Children" --
Angie (to Jesse): If you even think about going back to the police force, I'll be the first person you arrest.
Greenlee (to Kendall): Why are we fighting about Ryan? Why is he in the middle again?
Zach (to Ryan): Have you seen enough of who you really were, or do you want to see some more?
