Greenlee: Tell me I'm hearing things -- did Erica just say she wants to go to prison right away?

Zach: That's what she said. What are you up to, Erica?

Judge: Ms. Kane, is this your final decision -- to start your six-month sentence today?

Jack: Your honor, if I could have a word with my --

Erica: Yes, your honor. You heard me correctly -- I'd like to start serving my time immediately.

Judge: Do you wish to discuss the matter with counsel first?

Erica: No, that's not necessary. I know what I'm doing.

Kendall: No. Mother, please don't do this.

[Richie coughs]

Richie: Huh. Well, well, well, look who's here.

Annie: Hi, Richie.

Richie: Finally stopped by to see the medical miracle? Huh.

Annie: You look much better.

Richie: Oh, well, and you -- you, on the other hand, look like hell. How is that possible? I'm the one that almost died.

Annie: Hey, Richie, I'm not going to play games with you. If you want me here, great. If you don't, I'd be happy to leave. It's your call.

Richie: I -- can I at least get my ultrapersonal get-well card? Hmm. Thank you. You shouldn't have. I'm just going to put it here with my collection. So, where's your husband, Annie? Oh, is he still stuck in 2004 saying "Annie who?"

[Knock on door]

Ryan: Annie? Hello? Annie, you home? Ok. Time to start living in 2008.

Tad: See, this dock's loaded with warehouses all along here.

Jesse: So those were all within earshot of the clock chimes I heard?

Tad: Sure, it's got to be. I mean, St. Andrew of the Apostle is right there. I figure a 200-year-old clock tower -- the sound's got to carry at least that far. That's why all the warehouses I want to check are on this point. You ok?

Jesse: Yeah, yeah, I'm good.

Tad: Are you sure? Because I can do this by myself.

Jesse: No, you wouldn't know what to look for, Tad.

Tad: Ok. Well, just in case --

[Beep]

Jesse: You've got the latest technology going there, huh?

Tad: Got to.

Angie: Jesse, no. No me guns! I am not losing you again.

Jesse: Angie, you are not going to lose me. It's ok.

Angie: Put the gun down. I never want to see another gun.

Jesse: It's just a precaution.

Angie: Why now?

Tad: Angela, nobody wants to use them.

Angie: Then why are you? Something is going on. Is somebody going to start talking to me?

Jesse: We think we might have found the place they took me to back then.

Tad: See, he remembered something about where they held him -- the sound of water and the sound of a clock tower.

Jesse: And Tad said this guy Papel -- the one that's in Remy's datebook? He's a huge drug honcho.

Angie: So you're going back to the scene of the crime -- to find this man? Are we going to let the FBI know about this, or just send you both in there to get killed?

Robert: Good job, Rafael -- very creative.

Rafael: Put up everything we had.

Robert: Mmmm. Yeah, our friend Hubbard was a handsome guy, wasn't he -- before he died? Only thing we're missing is a -- a current photograph, I think.

Rafael: Well, I could pull one off the surveillance videos from the hospital.

Robert: No, forget that. No, we need a professional-looking shot.

Rafael: Yeah, well, I could take a professional shot at Hubbard.

Robert: We got plenty of time for that. First of all, Hubbard and my nephew, Tad, have to find the clues that I've planted in Remy's datebook.

Rafael: When do you think they'll get here?

Robert: Should be any minute.

Rafael: You're leaving?

Robert: Yeah, I've got a date with a -- a very special woman.

Kendall: Mother, why are you doing this? The judge said that you could start your sentence in three weeks.

Erica: It is so much better this way.

Kendall: For who? Not -- not for me. Listen, I don't want you to go to prison at all, but -- but, I mean, going this soon? This is too much, too fast.

Aidan: Am I getting this right -- that Erica wants to go directly to prison from here?

Greenlee: Oh, crazy, right? It's got to be killing Kendall.

Aidan: Yeah.

Kendall: Bianca wanted to fly here, but you told her not to.

Erica: Of course not -- it wasn't necessary.

Josh: Erica, she's right. Why don't we take a minute to think about this?

Erica: You see, this is why I didn't need to take a minute. I don't want you to descend on me -- please don't worry so much.

Zach: This is what your mother wants. Leave her alone. Come on.

Kendall: You feel better now? Was justice served? Boy, the streets of Pine Valley are a lot safer now that you've locked up big, bad Erica Kane. She's such a menace to society, right? Is that it?

Judge: I will have order in my courtroom!

Josh: Come on, let's go. He's not worth it, all right? You don't want to get in trouble, too.

Kendall: Well, you know what? With him in charge, I think it'll probably happen.

Zach: Your mother has thought this through. It'll be ok.

Erica: So I -- I guess you're furious at me.

Jack: I'm surprised, but I'm not angry. I knew what I was in for when I signed on to represent you.

Erica: Jack, you know that I'm not deliberately trying to upset anyone -- you know that, don't you?

Jack: I do. I think we're all just being a little selfish. We don't want you to go.

Erica: I'll miss you, too.

Jesse: Baby, we've been through this time and time again. I am not calling the police -- or the FBI. I can't trust them -- any of them!

Angie: Well, then how about trusting me? I saw what they did to you. You -- you still have the scars on your back. And now you want to walk back in there and give them what they want?

Tad: Angela, it's over 20 years ago. They're probably long gone by now.

Jesse: And if not, we will be prepared.

Angie: Well, I'm not. I already buried you once, Jesse, and it damn near killed me.

Jesse: Baby, we got to do this. I'm not going to let them come and find me here -- knowing they're out there, knowing my wife and kid are in danger? Uh-uh, that's -- it's killing me. Baby? Please, you got to trust me. You got to trust Tad. Go back to work -- please? And I promise you I will come back to you, I will.

Tad: And I promise to make sure he keeps his promise.

Angie: This is -- this is so completely asinine!

Jesse: It's got to be done. Come here, come here.

Angie: Can you promise me you're going to come back to me? You're going to come home to me?

Jesse: You know I will. You know I will.

Angie: Jesse, don't you dare let me regret this.

Judge: If there is nothing further, counselors, court is adjourned.

Reporter: Erica, you'll be spending six months behind bars. How are you going to get through without losing your mind?

Erica: Oh, just like everybody else does -- just one day at a time.

Reporter: Is it true you're having gourmet meals flown in from a five-star restaurant?

Erica: No, of course not -- no. I'm just going to eat what all the other inmates eat.

Greenlee: Look at her. She pretends it's such torture, but she lives for this stuff. But why does she always have to drag my dad into her drama?

Aidan: She didn't drag him in, though, Greenlee. Jack wanted to defend her.

Greenlee: Yeah, well, he's always left high and dry in the end. I wish he would just move on with his life, get rid of her once and for all.

Aidan: Is Kendall ok?

Zach: Yeah, welcome to the jungle. She's doing all right. It took her by surprise, I guess.

Aidan: I just can't believe it, Zach -- that she has volunteered to go straight to prison from here. I spoke to Ryan today.

Zach: Really? Interesting conversation?

Aidan: Mm-hmm.

Erica: I can't say that spending the next --

Kendall: Excuse me -- Mom?

Erica: Six months in prison --

[Reporters yell questions]

Zach: Let's talk outside.

Reporter: Mr. Montgomery, did you advise your client to go to prison immediately?

Jack: Nope, she came up with that one all on her own.

Reporter: Well, do you feel Ms. Kane was unfairly judged because of her celebrity?

Jack: You know what? Why don't you ask Mr. Woods that question? Excuse me.

Reporter: Mr. Woods --

Second Reporter: Mr. Woods, what do you say to that?

Samuel: You know, I think it's like I said all along. No matter how famous you are or rich you are or how many avid supporters you have, no one should be above the law. And that's that simple.

Reporter: Mr. Woods, this is Erica Kane we're talking about.

Kendall: Here you go.

Reporter: It's hardly a simple case.

Erica: Thank you.

Kendall: You ok?

Erica: I'm fine.

Samuel: You're trying someone that is a high-profile person.

Kendall: Mom, what can I do?

Erica: Nothing, because Josh and -- and Zach are going to oversee my business affairs, and Jack is going to oversee all my legal papers.

Kendall: Ok, well, there must be something that I can do.

Erica: Ok, there is one thing -- you can take care of your boys and Zach.

Kendall: Ok.

Erica: And if Zach and Aidan are having private conversations, don't dismiss it.

Kendall: All right, look, Mom, I know that you're worried about what happened between Aidan and me, but you don't have to be, ok? It's -- it's under control.

Erica: Ok, so the only thing I have to worry about is Ryan?

Kendall: No, I don't want you worrying about anything but taking care of yourself.

Erica: Honey, listen to me -- they're going to come and take me away in a minute. This would be just the right time to just get it all out -- now, you tell me the truth.

Kendall: What truth?

Erica: About you and Ryan in Los Angeles. What else happened?

Kendall: Oh, my God -- does no one else believe me?

Erica: I don't mean you have to give me the details, but don't keep any secrets from your husband.

Kendall: Mom, Zach was upset enough to find out that Ryan flew all the way out to L.A. to come see me. If he knew anything else, he would probably go ballistic.

Erica: Well, with good reason. Who knows what -- what Ryan might do next?

Ryan: Ok.

[Ryan sighs]

Ryan: Our wedding -- May 10, 2007. Got it. "The happiest day of my life." Oh -- you do look happy. I wore a nice suit, Annie wore a beautiful cream-colored dress. She looks beautiful. Let's see. We went horseback riding. All right, that's good to know. This is going to work.

Richie: Why did you even come here?

Annie: I came to see if you were ok, and tell you that I hope you take this new lease on life and do something good for a change.

Richie: Oh, so that's it -- you came here to tell me to play well with others, yeah? Well, thanks, Annie. I appreciate it, I really do, but I've had considerable amount of time to think about what I want to do with my life, and I don't need a lesson from you.

Annie: Ok. So don't take it from me -- take it from Babe.

Richie: Don't talk about Babe.

Annie: Why not? You listen to her. Why don't you change for Babe? Why don't you become a better man for Babe?

Richie: Why are you so concerned with me becoming a better man? Huh? Is it because you're afraid of me? Why, because your husband no longer knows who you are, and he can't protect you -- is that it?

Annie: Oh, my God -- I just realized something. You're actually the one who's scared of me, aren't you?

Zach: What did you and Ryan talk about?

Aidan: Football and how arsenal's doing in the premiership. And I warned him about Kendall.

Zach: How'd he respond?

Aidan: I think he got the message.

Zach: Good. There'll be a little extra in your paycheck this week.

Aidan: I didn't just do it for you, Zach. Greenlee's part of this, too.

Zach: I know she is. Thanks for taking care of Ryan.

Kendall: What did you do to Ryan?

Ryan: What is this? "You are Emma's father, and you are my best friend. You are our prince, our rock, and our inspiration." Our vows -- how do I not remember my vows? What else we got here? What is this? "Trattoria Nico -- our third and a half date." "Our half"? What's up with that? Ok. We liked Italian food, we liked Italian food, and clearly, this woman loves me a lot. I'm making headway here, Annie. I am making headway. I'm filling in the blanks.

Richie: Oh, that's --

[Richie coughs]

Richie: That's -- that's good. Oh --

[Coughing]

Richie: Me afraid of you? Oh, I got to be careful -- that hurts.

[Coughing]

Richie: So, hold on. What in God's name am I supposed to be afraid of, huh? Are -- are you lecturing me to death? Oh, please don't do it, Annie -- don't do it.

Annie: For better or worse, Richie, I've always seen right through you. Your BS doesn't get to me like it does other people, and deep down, yeah, I think that terrifies you.

Richie: You think so highly of yourself, don't you?

Annie: Oh, sure, sure I do. I'm just a great person. It's not that I'm perfect, but I try really, really hard to do the right thing.

Richie: So what? Am I supposed to look at you, get all freaked out, remember my -- my bad past deeds?

Annie: Something like that.

Richie: That's a stretch.

Annie: You know what? The choice is yours, but I got to tell you just because you got a second shot at life doesn't mean that life just suddenly miraculously gets better. You have to work to turn it around.

Richie: See, Annie, that's what you don't get. I don't feel like I have anything I have to turn around. I don't feel sorry about anything I did. You know why you're really here? Hmm? Because you don't have a life anymore. What, no? Ok. Well, then, why don't you tell me how does it feel to be a single mother again? Oh, you should have plenty of practice -- I mean, you were married to the psycho Terry. You sure can pick them. I know what you're thinking.

Annie: No, I wouldn't bet on that.

Richie: You're thinking your brother's not a very nice person. You're right.

[Piano plays]

Robert: Opal, I'm so glad you could join me.

Opal: Oh -- huh. Well, sometimes you look so much like your brother it just makes my skin crawl.

Robert: Well, I'm sorry about that.

Opal: Huh.

Robert: Will you join me? Good. I ordered some drinks.

Opal: No. No, I -- I -- I need to keep my wits about me. Whoo! You know, I -- I just never thought I would cross paths with the Gardner clan again.

Robert: Well, and I had thought that I had convinced you that I'm nothing like Ray.

Opal: Well, I know. I -- I heard everything you had to say and -- and I see you're making every effort, but Ray Gardner is a lot harder to get past than I realized.

Robert: Well, I know.

Opal: I mean, he ruined a lot of people's lives. I -- I have been having the worst nightmares ever since you came to town.

Robert: Oh, I'm sorry.

Opal: Yeah.

Robert: Well, now, I took the liberty of ordering some champagne -- should I send it back?

Opal: The good stuff? Oh, well, isn't that fancy. Well, I guess a little wouldn't hurt. Huh.

Robert: Good.

Opal: Hmm.

Robert: I know it's been a long time since you left Ray and came to Pine Valley alone.

Opal: Oh, stop right there. I didn't come alone. No, I came with my daughter, Jenny. Tad was already settled here in Pine Valley with Joe and Ruthie.

Robert: Tad certainly seems to have made something of himself.

Opal: "Something"? I call it success with a capital S. He turned everything around -- oh, he has a real good life, my Tad.

Robert: Hmm. Well, tell me about him, will you?

[Glasses clink]

Tad: Are we even in the right ballpark?

Jesse: I don't know.

Tad: Oh, come on, Jesse. The sixth warehouse 'I've been to -- does anything look familiar?

Jesse: Tad, it's been 20 years, all right? Things change? Not exactly the kind of place I wanted to remember, either.

Tad: Yeah, point taken. All right, come on, let's go. At least we can still see the clock tower.

Jesse: Hold it, hold on.

Tad: What is it?

Jesse: Tad, you should go.

Tad: Oh, God, not again.

Jesse: Well, come on. This is just wrong.

Tad: Hey, would you just --

Jesse: You didn't sign on for this.

Tad: Yes, I did! Stop doing this, all right?

Jesse: Tad, if you got hurt --

Tad: Knock it off.

Jesse: Come on, man, be smart. Just turn around and walk away!

Tad: Stop telling me what to do, ok, please?

Jesse: You've got a good life, Tad -- you've got a wife, you got a kid -- why would you want to jeopardize that?

Tad: Because you've got a good life, too. And you can't get to it until we -- we figure out what happened to you. Now, Jenny was right -- why do you always got to have such a thick skull?

Jesse: This thick skull has kept me alive, all right?

Tad: Yeah. It's a good thing, too. Come on, let's do this.

Greenlee: Can I ask you something?

Jack: Yeah, sure. I don't guarantee any brilliant answers, but go ahead.

Greenlee: Did you have any idea that Erica would insist on going straight to jail? I'll take that as a no.

Jack: It was her idea solely.

Greenlee: She begs you to take on her case and then she does whatever she damn well pleases.

Jack: Greenlee, I understand you're upset, but this is not the day to pick on Erica, ok?

Greenlee: Well, she broke the law. Why is everyone treating her like she's Mother Teresa in four-inch heels? Last time I checked, she wasn't dishing out any alms to the poor.

Jack: Ok, Greenlee, easy, ok?

Greenlee: No, all I'm saying is, do the crime, do the time.

Jack: All I'm saying is, you're my daughter, and I love you, but maybe this is not the department for you to be throwing stones. I'll see you in a little bit.

Greenlee: Right. The Erica train is leaving the station, again.

Josh: Go.

Jack: Hi. Erica, will --

[Erica claps]

Erica: Congratulations on an excellent performance, Mr. Woods. Although, I didn't hear any reporters asking you about your Senate race. Did I miss that? Or did your plan to use me as a springboard for your campaign backfire, again?

Samuel: Today was your day, and it should be.

Erica: Well, I hope when you go to bed tonight, that you're able to really feel good about how you helped the American people.

Jack: Erica, I told you how helpful Samuel was in chambers with the judge.

Erica: Oh, I am sure that Mr. Woods gave a halfway convincing performance.

Jack: He did a hell of a lot more than that. I mean, to give the devil his due, he argued that judge back from the 18 months he wanted to give you, and I really don't know where we'd be without him, frankly.

Erica: You mean this? You really think that Samuel Woods helped me?

Samuel: Just taking care of the American people. I hope we meet again under more pleasant circumstances. Good luck.

Zach: You have no reason to worry about Mr. Lavery.

Aidan: None whatsoever. I just went up to the man and spoke to him face to face, and I said, "I think it was completely out of order that you turned up in L.A."

Kendall: It was.

Zach: You ok?

Kendall: Hmm. Yeah, m -- I'm good. I think I'm just on overload right now.

Zach: Of course, you are. You got a lot on your plate -- your mom, the kids, and everything. You don't need Mr. Lavery chasing you down.

Kendall: Yeah. Well, I know you're just -- you're just looking out for me, Zach.

Zach: I am. And how lucky are we to have Aidan?

Ryan: Nobody said I couldn't have a crib sheet. Yeah, I got that. I am giving it my best shot, and I am doing it all for you, Annie. Annie -- "Novak McDermott Lavery."

Annie: I'm not thinking you're a bad person.

Richie: You're not thinking I'm a good person, either.

Annie: True.

Richie: So, what, are you the great decider of all things decent in the world?

Annie: See, Richie, that is a setup, and I am not going to fall for it. If you want to keep living in this lousy place you've decided to spend your entire life, that's fine. That's fine by me. But as for my family, my chosen family, Ryan and Emma -- yeah, recently I've been going through hell. I don't know if things are ever going to go back to normal. But you know what? At least I know what it's like to love somebody, which is a lot more than I can say for you.

Richie: I've got something going on with Babe, not that it's any of your business.

Annie: Oh, really? Well, then stop wasting your time attacking me and get your act together.

Richie: Good pep talk. Do you feel all mushy inside, huh?

Frankie: "Richard Novak" --

Richie: That's me.

Frankie: Hi, I'm Dr. Frank Hubbard.

Colby: And I'm Colby Chandler. Hi, Annie.

Annie: Hi. Hi, Frankie, I'm Annie. I'm a friend of the Slaters and Greenlee. I'm glad to hear that you're feeling better.

Frankie: Oh, thanks. It's much better being on this side of the stethoscope.

Annie: Yeah.

Richie: Another Dr. Hubbard was checking me out.

Colby: Oh, that's Dr. Hubbard one. Angie Hubbard, Frankie's mom.

Frankie: I've got this, Colby. Thanks.

Richie: And you -- you're too young to be a doctor.

Colby: Oh, no, I'm just --

Frankie: Well, Colby's a part of the hospital program newly found here. She's a volunteer assigned to me.

Colby: Actually, my exact title is --

Frankie: Seriously, can you stop? Now, if you guys don't mind, I'd like to check your charts.

Richie: Do whatever you got to do, but can somebody get me some water, please?

Frankie: Sure. Colby? Let's see.

[Colby gasps as she spills water all over Richie]

Colby: Oh, my -- I am so sorry!

Frankie: Can we not drown the patient?

Richie: Huh -- oh, it's ok. I'm -- I'm going to survive.

Frankie: God.

Colby: You know, could you be a little nicer?

Frankie: Could you be a little more professional?

Colby: What's your damage?

Frankie: Some of us are dealing with life-or-death situations.

[Door creaks]

Tad: Oh. You know, after 9 or 10, these places all look the same.

Jesse: Where are the lights?

Tad: "Crane West Imports." Hey, Jesse, let me see the bag. I want to take a look at that datebook. Jesse, come here. Check it out. "Papel, CWI." Crane West Imports. Could it be it?

Jesse: This is it.

Jack: Absolutely, my pleasure.

Guard: It's time, Ms. Kane.

Erica: Thank you.

[Handcuffs fasten]

Guard: Is that too tight?

Erica: No. I love you both. And be strong. Remember what I said. I'm going to be fine.

Josh: Of course, you are. You're Erica Kane.

Erica: Yes, I am. I'm Erica Kane.

Guard: Sorry. We've got to go.

Erica: All right. I'm ready.

Greenlee: Ahem. Dad --

Jack: Yeah?

Greenlee: I really am sorry that things turned out this way.

Jack: Are you?

Greenlee: Yeah, well, I was thinking that while Erica's away, maybe you could -- I don't know -- date again?

Jack: Greenlee, sometimes your timing absolutely stinks.

Zach: You ok?

[Reporters shout questions]

Kendall: No, actually, I'm not.

Zach: She'll be fine. We'll visit her whenever we can.

Kendall: No, it's not just that, Zach. It's us. I lied to you.

Annie: I should go now.

Richie: Is it everything you hoped for, this visit?

Annie: Of course not. Every time I see you, I leave feeling sad, or angry, or both.

Richie: Well, I am a charmer.

Annie: Would I have known about this transplant if Babe hadn't told me?

Richie: You haven't exactly been in the market for Richie updates lately.

Annie: No. You're right, I haven't.

Richie: And you're still not.

Annie: Look, I just -- I just wanted to tell you that I was glad that you found a match, and I was glad that the transplant went well. I should've just said that to begin with and quit while I was ahead.

Richie: Well, thanks for the good wishes, and please turn off the light on your way out.

[Rock music plays]

[Engine cranks]

Colby: Damn it!

[Colby sighs]

[Presses accelerator]

Frankie: Hey.

[Engine cranks]

Frankie: Hey! Can you turn your music down for two seconds?

Colby: Huh?

Frankie: Turn your music down! You're flooding the engine.

[Colby sighs]

Colby: So you're a mechanic, too, huh?

Frankie: I'm just saying --

Colby: Well, we're off the clock, so I don't have to listen to your criticism. Besides, I do know a little something about cars -- kind of. I stole a couple back in the day.

[Colby sighs]

Colby: Let's see -- it's not flooded. Something else is wrong. What the hell -- looks like someone tried to cut the wire.

Frankie: What? Somebody messed with your car? You've been watching too many trashy horror flicks. Nobody's coming to get you.

Tad: Are you sure? I mean, you really think this could be the place?

Jesse: Yeah, man, this is it. This is where it all happened. It hasn't changed a bit.

Tad: Ok. Ok, now you're talking. You look around, maybe we'll get lucky. Perhaps this place belongs to some associate of Papel's.

Jesse: Ugh! Agh!

Man: You got it?

Jesse: Agh! Oh!

Tad: You ok?

Jesse: Yeah, it's -- just keep flashing over what happened here.

[Door creaks]

Zach: All right. Everyone's gone. What did you lie to me about?

Kendall: I didn't tell you everything about Ryan coming to L.A.

Zach: What'd you leave out?

Kendall: I didn't just see Ryan alone with Aidan at the hotel. I met him somewhere, at -- at this bar. Nothing happened. We just talked. I was trying to help him remember. I felt terrible keeping this from you.

Zach: Well, thanks for telling me now.

Kendall: Please don't go after Ryan. This was my fault.

Zach: You just wanted to help.

Kendall: Yeah, and now I know I can't. You've been trying to tell me that all along, and I get it, finally. Ryan has to figure out his own problems with Annie. I can't fix them.

Zach: That's all I needed to hear.

Ryan: "Likes to go horseback riding, not terribly good. Italian food --"

[Ryan sighs]

Annie: Hey.

Ryan: Hey. Are you ready for our dinner date with Emma and Kathy at the pizza --

Annie: Oh -- um --

Ryan: Or Italian? I thought we could --

Annie: Yeah, I -- I completely forgot.

Ryan: Oh. You ok?

Annie: No, it -- it's just kind of been a long day. I went to see Richie at the hospital, and -- um -- Richie's my brother.

Ryan: Did something happen?

Annie: No, just the usual -- which you don't know. Um -- he just basically tore down my life and took some pretty accurate shots about what's going on with you, and --

Ryan: Hey -- um -- can I come in?

Annie: I don't think it's a good idea, Ryan. I just need to be alone. We'll take Emma to dinner another time.

Ryan: Oh, really? Because I thought maybe we could go and get some brick-oven pizza.

Annie: Not tonight.

[Annie shuts the door in Ryan's face]

Richie: Hmm.

[Richie coughs as he sleeps fitfully]

[Voices echo]

Richie: What the hell -- what the hell are you doing here?

J.R.: You and I -- we got a few scores to settle.

Richie: Yeah, fine, whatever, man. When I'm back in fighting shape, great. But now, just get the hell out of here, J.R.

J.R.: You think it's that easy? You can't get rid of me.

Richie: Well, I can get an orderly to do it, if you like.

J.R.: You just don't get it, do you? No orderly can pull me out. I'm inside you. I'm in your veins, I'm in your bones. No, you and me -- we're together forever.

Angie: Oh -- oh!

Jesse: Oh, my God -- Angela, what the hell are you doing here?

Angie: I'm sorry! I just -- I -- I could not just sit at home knowing what you two were trying to do!

Jesse: It is not safe here.

Angie: All right. All right, then, fine. Let's all leave.

Tad: Angela, he's right. It's too dangerous. You've got to get out of here.

[Noise]

[Erica removes her ring and hands it to the guard]

Erica: Here you go.

[Door closes]

Erica: I can do this. I'm Erica Kane.

>> On the next "All My Children" --

J.R.: Hey, Richie.

Richie (to J.R.): I'm going to kill you.

Adam (to Krystal): You know I'd never hurt your child. She's so much a beautiful part of you.

Robert (to Frankie and Colby): Looks like everything's going right according to schedule.

Distorted voice: Jesse Hubbard, welcome back.
