J.R.: Good morning.
Babe: Hi. Come to me.
[Babe takes Little A from J.R.]
J.R.: You sleep ok?
Babe: Um -- yeah, yeah. Thanks for spending the night.
J.R.: No problem.
Babe: There you go, sweetie. You know, it's just with Ryan getting shot and -- and me having that nightmare, I'm as wound up as one of Little A's toys right now.
J.R.: You never told me what that nightmare was all about.
Babe: I think maybe I -- I just don't want to think about it.
J.R.: Ok, I'm just offering. I always have an ear for you.
Babe: So, why did you come by last night?
J.R.: To ask you out on a date.
Jack: You ok?
Greenlee: Um --
Jack: Hey --
Greenlee: Yeah. No -- no, no, I'm -- I'm fine. I got dizzy. I'm -- I'm fine.
Jack: Listen to me, I'm going to call Joe. We need to find out what's --
Greenlee: No, you know what? I think I just -- I -- I probably need something to eat.
Jack: Well, I can help you with that.
Greenlee: Ok. Um --
Jack: Let's get your coat.
Greenlee: You know what would be so great?
Jack: What's that?
Greenlee: How about maybe eggs Benedict with crème fraiche, maybe some caviar.
Jack: How about a couple of scrambled eggs?
Greenlee: Dad, listen, you don't have to worry about me. I -- I am fine. I'm tired, I'm -- I'm hungry, but I promise you, I -- I'm fine.
Greenlee: Ok. Whew.
Jack: Whoa, whoa, whoa.
Greenlee: Oh --
Kendall: Zach promised he would call and check in, but he hasn't.
Erica: Honey, I know you're worried, but don't go there.
Kendall: No, Mother, last time, he got hit by a car, and then trapped in that stupid bomb shelter.
Erica: Well, that was then. This is now. This is different.
Kendall: Right, ok. Only this time, he's going after a crazy woman who tried to kill me and now probably wants to kill him.
Zach: Where are you?
Hannah: Hmm. I'm just lying around.
Zach: No more games, Hannah. I've been trying to find you.
Hannah: I bet you have.
Zach: So, what, are you still in Pine Valley? Let's find a place to meet.
Hannah: What, you, me, and the SWAT team?
Zach: Just you and me.
Hannah: You know the place outside of town? The rocks at Miller's Falls?
Zach: I'll meet you there.
Hannah: Just the two of us. You owe me that.
[Hannah places her gun in her bag]
Babe: All right, here you go, sweetie. Mama and Daddy are going to be right over there talking, ok?
Little Adam: Ok.
Babe: Ok. You just don't give up, do you?
J.R.: I'd like to think one of my good qualities is persistence.
Babe: J.R., we've been over this, like, 100 times already.
J.R.: Hey, look, all I wanted was to --
Babe: No, I know what you wanted, J.R. It doesn't matter how many dates you ask me out on. You and me together again -- it's just not going to happen.
J.R.: Did I say you and me on a date? I never said that. I meant all of us on a date.
J.R.: It's been so long since all three of us just went out and played.
Babe: Really? That's what you want to do today?
J.R.: Yes, yes. Come here. We have snow, we have a little boy.
Babe: Ok, I'm with you so far.
J.R.: And I just thought, for Little Adam's sake, it's time that he builds his first official snowman, and who better to teach him than you and me? We used to be good at a lot of things, remember, Babe? So, what do you say? You up for a little fooling around in the snow?
Dre: So, you come here often, beautiful?
Colby: Does that line ever work?
Dre: I don't know. Just seen it in old movies.
Colby: I like old movies, too.
Colby: But for now, you're just going to have to settle for an iPod and some new tunes.
Dre: Cool. Thanks.
Dre: But as great as hiding out in a tunnel is --
Colby: I know. You want to get out of here. So, that's what these are for.
Dre: Post cards, which are going to somehow get me out of here?
Colby: Yeah, after you write to your dad.
Dre: Whoa. Back up. I'm not writing to my father, ok? If this is some girl thing to get me and him to talk, and --
Colby: Ok, would you just let me finish? All I want is what you want -- for your dad's PI to leave you alone, so you don't have to hide out anywhere, right?
Dre: Most definitely.
Colby: Ok. So, how about -- "Dear Dad, the New York music scene is insane. Breaking in isn't easy, but I got a few gigs lined up."
Dre: New York, huh? Very good. It kind of makes sense. All right.
[Colby claps hands]
Colby: Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Adam: Colby! Are you here?
Joe: Pulse is a little elevated.
Greenlee: Well, I mean, what would you expect with such handsome men fawning over me?
Joe: Mm-hmm. I'm a little concerned about your passing out.
Greenlee: Joe, I didn't pass out. I -- I momentarily collapsed.
Jack: Honey, you passed out, believe me. I was there, you weren't.
Joe: Losing consciousness is not to be taken lightly.
Greenlee: Ok, fine. Maybe I just -- I overdid it today.
Joe: Greenlee, you promised me when I released you early that you were going to take it easy. Now, I'm beginning to rethink my decision.
Greenlee: No, Joe, please -- please do not send me back to the hospital.
Joe: Well, if you can't get proper rest here, I --
Jack: She'll take it easy, Joe. I'll make sure of that.
Joe: Oh. Ah. It's the hospital. I've got some information in the car I promised to get to them. I'll be right back.
Joe: Excuse me.
Jack: I should never have let you talk me into that walk in the park.
Greenlee: Dad, stop. Stop. It's not your fault, it -- it's me. It's me wanting to be treated like me. I mean, Aidan -- he's afraid to touch me. He thinks I'm going to break. And now, you're afraid because you took me on a walk.
Jack: Honey, I understand what you're saying, but you have been through so much lately, you --
Greenlee: Listen, Kendall -- she got shot at. Ryan -- he's in the hospital. Zach -- Zach is out chasing a gun-toting Hannah. I mean, Kendall's got to be worried sick. I -- I -- I should be at her house taking care of her, not sitting here.
Jack: Greenlee, I want you to listen to me. Here is right where you should be, taking care of yourself.
Greenlee: I just want to know, when am I going to get my life back?
Erica: Zach is smart and -- and he's determined, and he loves you. He's not going to do anything foolish.
Kendall: You're right. But there are times when we all do stupid things.
Erica: Oh. All right, I'll get that, because that just might be one of those horrible reporters. Yes? No. No, she's not available.
Kendall: Yeah, Kendall, we all do stupid things.
[Kendall recalls the night she spent with Aidan]
Aidan: Kendall, you ok?
Kendall: Why did Zach leave us alone together? He should not have done that.
Aidan: Because he trusts me, and he knows that I'll protect you with my life.
Kendall: Yes, he trusts you, just like he trusts me.
Aidan: Are you really going to do this right now? You really want to have this conversation when your mum's here?
Kendall: No, you know what I want? I want for you to be out finding Hannah, and I want for Zach to be here with me, right now.
Aidan: Do you think I like this any more than you do?
Kendall: I didn't say that.
Erica: I don't believe it. You two are going at it again?
Aidan: Look, we just -- I'm sorry, we're on edge, all right? Because Zach's out there somewhere and so is Hannah.
Kendall: What was that?
Aidan: I'll go and check it out. You stay here.
Zach: How's Kendall?
Aidan: She's good. She's inside with Erica.
Zach: What about Hannah? Any sign of her?
Aidan: No. I've been checking in with the guards. She hasn't showed her face.
Zach: All right. I just wanted to make sure before I left.
Aidan: Why, where are you going?
Zach: I got a call from Hannah.
Zach: About five minutes ago. She wants to meet.
Aidan: Well, did you call Derek and let him know?
Zach: Uh-uh. No, no cops.
Aidan: Well, then I'm going with you as backup.
Zach: Oh, no, you're not.
Aidan: Listen, where is the meeting supposed to take place?
Zach: The rocks.
Aidan: Miller's Falls, where she's going to ambush you.
Zach: Uh-uh. You take care of Kendall, I'll take care of the rest.
Aidan: Zach, I know you have a plan. I'm just worried what it is.
Hannah's voice: So you owe me! You owe me this child!
Zach: I love my wife. Makes me want to be a better man. And all those clichés about family and being together and commitment, giving your life for someone -- they're all real. I'm not going to give that up. Not for you, not for anyone.
Kendall: What is taking Aidan so long outside?
Erica: Aidan is armed. He's experienced in this kind of a thing.
Kendall: Oh, yeah, he's a real Boy Scout.
Erica: I'll tell you what I don't understand. I still don't understand why you and Aidan are at odds all the time.
Kendall: Oh, mother, please -- come on.
Erica: Well, does it have something to do with Greenlee? Do you have a -- a problem with her being with him?
Kendall: No, I have a problem with him not being with her.
Erica: You're going to have to explain that to me.
Kendall: Ok, Mom, the bullet went through Greenlee's window. So she's in just as much danger as I am.
Erica: That's ridiculous. Hannah was clearly aiming at you.
Kendall: Yeah, well, if Aidan loves Greenlee, then he will --
Kendall: I know that he does. I just think that he should be with her.
Erica: You are really worried about her?
Kendall: Yeah, I am.
Erica: Well, Jackson's with her now.
Kendall: Yeah. That doesn't matter. Like you said, Aidan's the one who's experienced, and he is armed.
Erica: Hmm. Yeah, maybe you're right.
Kendall: I think so. I'm just sick and tired of waiting and wondering what's going on outside.
Aidan: You might as well paint a red bull's-eye on your chest.
Zach: She doesn't want to kill me, she wants my attention.
Aidan: Well, she's got a funny way of getting it, doesn't she?
Zach: I'm going to Miller's Falls, and I'm going to let her spew 20 years of anger right on my face, and after that, I'm going to put an end to it once and for all.
Kendall: Aidan, what's going on? I can't wait all day for you.
J.R.: First of all, there are some basic rules to building the most perfect snowman.
J.R.: Tad taught me, and now, I'm going to teach you. Now, first of all, we are going to need some snow that packs. See? Here, take a look at it. What do you think? Put your hands in there.
Babe: Ooh, that looks like fun.
J.R.: Oh, yeah. Pretty cool, huh? And then next, we're going to need some basic tools. A nose --
Babe: Yes. All right, we've got that, check.
Babe: Ok, check, check.
J.R.: A mouth.
Babe: You can never forget the mouth.
J.R.: And the top hat.
Babe: Oh, yes. The top hat, but the most important thing --
J.R.: What's that? The daddy?
Babe: The hot chocolate with marshmallows.
J.R.: Oh! Would you look at that? Your mom actually did something pretty good.
Babe: Second assistant snowman builder, reporting for duty.
J.R.: What do you expect? Girls aren't normally good at that sort of thing.
J.R.: Mm-hmm. You want Mommy to help us out? Yeah?
Babe: Yeah? Good.
J.R.: All right. So, chief snowman builder says it's ok. Let's go, Mom.
Babe: It's ok? Good, let's go.
J.R.: All right, good. Let's play. You got to get a ball together, a big ball.
Adam: Colby? Colby!
Colby: He's gone.
Dre: What do you think would have happened if he had found us?
Colby: Well, let me put it this way. When my dad found Sean hiding underneath my bed --
Dre: He grounded you for life?
Colby: No, that's what a normal dad would do. But Adam Chandler? No, he set Sean up to get busted for drug dealing at my prom.
Colby: No kidding. It's not that he's a bad guy, really. Sometimes he acts before he thinks things through.
Dre: You can't accuse my old man of that. His every move, totally calculated.
Colby: So, let's take a page out of his book.
Dre: Ok. So, I write this like I'm living in New York.
Colby: Right, and then we put it in an envelope and send it to a friend of mine who actually does live there.
Dre: And then she mails it.
Colby: So there's a New York postmark.
Dre: Then my dad thinks I've moved on to the Big Apple.
Colby: And then there's no more PIs looking for you in Pine Valley.
Dre: Very good. You should be a criminal.
Colby: Hmm, yeah. Been there, done that.
Dre: Yeah, right.
Colby: My first day back in Pine Valley, my dad had to bail me out of jail. Grand theft auto.
Dre: You jacked cars?
Colby: Yeah, and I was good at it, too. Huh.
Colby: So, what about you and your dad?
Dre: Um -- just like family stuff.
Colby: Come on. I told you about my past.
Dre: Well, there's not much to tell about mine. It was just pretty much ok. Nothing perfect, but I went along with it. Until my mom died.
Colby: I'm sorry.
Dre: Well, a lot of people died that day. 9/11.
Colby: She was there?
Dre: She had an office in the South Tower. As soon as it happened, I went down there, but it was all barricaded off, and they wouldn't let me through. So I snuck in. That's how I got this. Sneaking around Ground Zero in the middle of the night. This broken steam pipe scalded me.
Colby: And your mom?
Dre: I never found her. That's why it's hard to talk about -- at least for me.
Colby: I get how that could change your life.
Dre: She died and my dad was all over the news. Wasn't a microphone he didn't fall in love with.
Colby: What do you mean?
Dre: He used 9/11 -- my mom's death, me getting hurt trying to find her -- he used it all, just to get elected.
[Sean chuckles when Hannah kisses him but he grows concerned when her gun falls out of her purse as he pulls her down on the bed]
Hannah: I'm sorry you had to see that.
Aidan: I told you to stay inside.
Kendall: Yeah, and you told me you would tell us what's going on out here.
Aidan: It's just a neighborhood dog, all right? I sent one of the guards to go and look at it.
Kendall: Are you sure that's all?
Aidan: Yes. That is all, now go back inside.
Kendall: Aidan, I'm worried about Greenlee. I really think you should go and protect her.
Aidan: Jack is with her. Look, I know you don't want me hanging around here, all right? But Zach asked me to look after you. Now, go back inside.
Kendall: All right.
Aidan: Look, Kendall is going stir-crazy in there. You stay here, let me handle Hannah.
Zach: I can't do that.
Aidan: You just got your life and your family back. Why are you acting like you got some kind of death wish?
Zach: I could say the same about you. You found the woman you love, you breathed life back into her, and now what? You're willing to throw all that away to take down someone you don't even know?
Aidan: It's a lot less dangerous when you're not emotionally involved. Zach, let me do this.
Zach: I can't. You know that.
Kendall: I hate this. Everybody is in the wrong place. It's driving me crazy.
Erica: Kendall, I want you to tell me exactly what is going on in your head.
Kendall: Oh, Mother, would you please -- please stop?
Erica: Was I right the first time? Is it something with Aidan and you?
Kendall: Yeah, actually. Aidan is getting on my nerves.
Erica: Oh, come on, it's much more than that.
Kendall: Don't project your stuff on me.
Erica: And don't try to turn the tables on me every time I bring up Aidan's name.
Kendall: Me turn the tables? Just because you cheated on your husband doesn't mean I cheated on mine.
Jack: Don't forget these.
Greenlee: Dad, when is my body going to just get with the program?
Jack: Sweetheart, you've got to be patient.
Greenlee: "Patient" does not exist in my vocabulary, and it definitely does not exist in Kendall's. I just need to be with her. I mean, the two of us together, we're -- we're so much better than the two of us apart. You know what I mean?
Jack: Yeah, I do.
Greenlee: Well, then --
Jack: The two of you are a force to be reckoned with.
Greenlee: Yes, but my body -- it's not cooperating.
Jack: Joe, what can you do for her to try to get her back on her feet?
Joe: I prepared something that should help, at least temporarily.
Greenlee: What is it?
Joe: Nothing. No big deal. Just a vitamin supplement -- help get your energy back. Yeah.
[Joe gives Greenlee an injection]
Greenlee: Ow -- ow.
Joe: At your next appointment, we're going to run a new series of tests.
Joe: Yeah. And, Greenlee, I know you don't like to hear me say this, but the one thing above all that will help you get back on your feet is rest.
Jack: Thanks, Joe.
Joe: Yeah. Thank you, Jack.
Jack: You bet.
Jack: Joe, I want you to be straight with me. What are you not telling me about my daughter?
Kendall: I'm sorry, Mom. I didn't mean it. I -- I know that things aren't going well with you and Jack, and I know you'd like them to be.
Erica: Right now, I'm just worried about you.
Kendall: Yeah. I don't know. I'm just -- I'm so stressed out. I just keep thinking, when are things ever going to be back to normal again?
Erica: Well, they will be, just -- just as soon as Hannah's out of the picture, you have the chance to get your life back with Zach and your little boys.
Kendall: I can't wait.
Erica: Look, I -- I think that we've all been a little stressed out lately, and I'm sorry. I should not have jumped to the conclusion that you -- that you slept with Aidan.
Kendall: Is everything good outside?
Aidan: Yeah. It's all clear.
Erica: And if you overheard, well, I am sorry for what I might have thought and -- and said.
Aidan: That's no problem.
Kendall: Right, and if everything is fine here, then maybe you should get back to Greenlee.
Erica: Kendall has been very worried about her.
Kendall: Yeah, I feel like she's a sitting duck. I mean, the bullet did go through her window.
Aidan: And I'm going to be with her as soon as Zach gets back, all right?
Kendall: Ok, all right, and exactly when do you think that will be, Aidan? And why aren't you worried about where he is?
Erica: Has he contacted you, Aidan, and -- and you're not telling us?
Aidan: All I know is that Zach wants me to be here.
Kendall: Even though there is a whole battalion of security guys outside?
Aidan: You know what? Actually, there's only an army of four. I gave Zach my word that I'm going to stay, so --
Erica: Even though we have both been on your case, Aidan, I commend you for that, I really do. And I think it's great that you are sticking to your guns or -- or gun or, well, how ever many there are -- and so, now, I'm going to order us some food, and I'm going to wait. Excuse me.
Aidan: You know, you're not making this any better.
Joe: Jack, to tell you the truth, I don't know what's wrong with Greenlee. I mean, it could be a passing bug that she will bounce back from tomorrow or it could be psychological.
Joe: Well, you know, there are long-term effects to an experience such as Greenlee had -- you know, mental and physical.
Jack: I'm sure that's true.
Jack: Do you think she should be in some kind of therapy?
Joe: Wouldn't hurt, yeah. But in the meantime, keep a close eye on her and call me if you need me, ok?
Jack: I will. Thanks, Joe, very much.
Erica: Jack, is -- is Greenlee ok?
Jack: Yeah, all things considered, I guess so. Why?
Erica: Oh, it's -- it's just Kendall. She's been so worried thinking that maybe Greenlee is afraid and alone after the shooting.
Jack: Well, she's not alone -- I'm with her.
Erica: I know. And I know you would do anything to keep her safe.
Jack: What are you getting at?
Erica: Well, honestly, Jack, we're all over here at Kendall's, and Zach has hired a team of security men, and so both Aidan and Kendall think that Greenlee would be a lot safer over here with us. And, of course, you should come, too.
Jack: Well, Greenlee is perfectly safe in her own house and, besides, I think she needs to get some rest.
Greenlee: Who are you talking to?
Jack: It's Erica.
Greenlee: What does she want?
Jack: Hang on a second. Um -- Kendall and Aidan are at Kendall's place wondering if you wouldn't feel safer over there. What do you think?
Greenlee: Yes. I'm -- I'm putting my shoes on.
Jack: Well, as it turns out, we're on our way.
Erica: Wonderful. We'll see you soon, then. Well, I was about to call Coral to ask her to send over some food and Jack called.
Aidan: Is Greenlee ok?
Erica: Well, he said that he thought that Greenlee would be safer over here with us, so they're on their way. Jack thought that was the best.
Kendall: Oh, so this was all Jack's idea?
Erica: Mm-hmm, yes.
Kendall: Mom, what are you doing?
Erica: Well, I'm staying, of course.
Sean: So, what's with the gun?
Hannah: Everyone's not as sweet as you are.
Sean: Cool, that's cool. You know, you're -- you're pretty hot. I'm sure you get a lot of unwanted attention, huh?
Hannah: You have no idea. God, you're sweet. But I have to go.
Hannah: I'm sorry we won't be seeing each other again.
[While music plays, Babe, J.R., and Little Adam put the finishing touches on their snowman then start a snowball fight]
Singer: As we've heard before today the land is ripe in times of change
Singers: So let's discover what we can while we're here if we're ever gonna turn that page
Singer: And I can say but you've always known so tell me why should I shelter and protect you in the storm when the sun still shines as yesterday
Singers: I don't want to go back home so let's hold on while we've got tonight and the fire burns bright oh, oh oh, oh, oh
Singer: Till it burns
Singers: Oh, oh
Singer: Till it burns till it burns
Singers: Oh, oh, oh whoo, hoo, hoo oh, oh whoo, hoo, hoo oh, oh hoo, hoo till the fire
Dre: First city council, then District U.S. Attorney. Huh. Not one speech goes by that he doesn't play the whole "grieving 9/11 widower" card.
Colby: And that's why you ran away?
Dre: Well, he's set his eyes on bigger and better things -- the Senate. Wanted to drag me along on the campaign trail with him. Now, I can't stop him from using my mom, but he's not going to use me.
Colby: Ok, I know you're angry, and I would be, too, but don't write any angry letters, ok? Just make it sound like you're doing your thing in New York.
Dre: Huh. I've -- I've never told anybody about any of this.
Colby: Well, I think you're doing the right thing about keeping some distance between you and your dad -- at least for now.
Colby: Ok -- so, post card time. Keep it simple -- reassuring but vague, like, "I'm doing great. Don't need money. I'm doing my thing" -- that says it all.
Dre: Pretty good at this.
Colby: Years of practice.
[While he's getting dressed, Sean hears the report]
TV announcer: The police are looking for a woman suspected in connection with yesterday's shooting at 400 Lake Drive. The police are asking anyone who has seen this woman -- a former Cambias Industries executive, Hannah Nichols -- to contact them immediately. She is considered to be armed and extremely dangerous.
Aidan: Greenlee -- been missing you.
Greenlee: Me, too.
Erica: Jack, come in. Come in.
Jack: Thanks. Uh -- you, I want you to take it easy. She had a bit of a rough morning.
Aidan: Why -- what happened?
Greenlee: Nothing, I'm fine. We went on a walk in the park. I was a little tired.
Aidan: Yeah, you shouldn't be running around in the cold -- you know that.
Greenlee: Well, I'm better now. Besides, Erica told Jackson that Kendall wanted me here, so --
Kendall: Uh -- yeah, yeah, absolutely. Safety in numbers, right? So, Greenlee, you know what? Do you want to lie down? I mean, we can get you a blanket or --
Erica: Actually, it's very chilly in here. Yes, why don't we get a blanket?
Erica: And a pillow. I'll go with you.
Jack: Excuse me. Hello?
Sean: Uncle Jack?
Jack: Sean, what are you doing?
Sean: Uh -- you know that woman wanted for the shooting?
Jack: Yeah -- what about her?
Sean: Uh -- I just spent the night with her.
J.R.: I'll be right back, buddy. I'll be right over there. I forgot how exhausting building a snowman was.
Babe: I know.
J.R.: Thank you.
Babe: Thank you.
J.R.: For what?
Babe: For a great day, maybe one of the best we've had as a family.
J.R.: Well, I can't claim to be father of the year.
Babe: Well, it's a new year.
J.R.: But I am trying to be better.
Babe: I know, I know. And no matter what we've been through, you've always been good to our son.
J.R.: Yeah. So this new guy, this better guy -- do you think you can learn to like him?
Babe: Well, he is my son's father, so I think it's a good idea -- us being friends.
[When their backpack hits the ground, both J.R. and Babe bend down to pick it up and come face to face]
Colby: Perfect. I'll mail it tomorrow.
Dre: Listen, uh, you don't have to hang around here with me.
Colby: Are you trying to get rid of me?
Dre: Last thing on my mind.
Colby: Well, I have nothing else to do, so I could hang out here for a while. Oh. Thanks.
[Dre and Colby chuckle as the share the earphones]
Jack: Sean, how could you do something so stupid as to go to bed with Hannah Nichols? What the hell were you thinking about?
Sean: Uncle Jack, she came on to me, and she's hot!
Jack: Where are you now?
Sean: At the -- the Pine Cone.
Jack: Is she still there with you?
Sean: No, no, she took off, and she had a gun. I mean, she said it was just for protection, but I don't know.
Jack: Do you have any idea where she went?
Sean: No. Look, I -- I know I screwed up bigtime.
Jack: I'm just glad you're ok. Look, here's what I want you to do -- get out of that room and get over to Kendall's as quickly as you can -- I mean, right now, ok?
Aidan: Oh -- hello?
Jack: Aidan? It's -- it's Jack.
Aidan: What's up, mate?
Jack: I need to speak to you privately. Can you come up with an excuse to get outside?
Aidan: No worries.
Greenlee: Everything ok?
Aidan: Yeah -- just one of the security guards is not feeling very well, so I'm going to relieve him for a few minutes.
Jack: You know, if you're walking out, maybe I'll come with you. I think maybe I left my car unlocked -- huh.
Aidan: All right.
Jack: We'll be right back.
Aidan: What's going on?
Jack: Believe it or not, my oversexed nephew just spent the night with Hannah Nichols at the Pine Cone Motel.
Aidan: You're joking.
Jack: No, I'm not joking, but, look, he's -- he's still there, but she's gone and he has no idea where she went.
Aidan: Well, I do, and Zach does. He's gone to meet her.
Jack: Look, Sean says she has a gun.
Aidan: Right, here's what we do. You go back inside, and you make out that nothing's happening out here.
Jack: Aidan, Aidan, these are smart women. If you don't go back inside, they're going to know something's up.
Aidan: Yeah, yeah, I know. Well, just tell them that the security guy is sick, and I'm taking over.
Jack: And what are you really going to be doing?
Aidan: I'm going to do what Zach doesn't want me to do. I'm going to make sure that he doesn't kill Hannah, and Hannah doesn't kill him.
[Zach and Hannah meet at the falls]
>> On the next "All My Children" --
