Amanda: I don't know what you're talking about, J.R. Go away!
J.R.: You know what I'm talking about! "Tell me every mean, nasty, lowdown, evil thing you've ever done."
Amanda: But how did you --
J.R.: You were my alibi the entire time, but you kept that little mouth shut. Why did you do that?
Amanda: Would you get out of here?
J.R.: No, you're going to tell me the truth, Amanda! Otherwise, I'm going to sink this ship! With you in it!
Adam: What the devil is going on here? I know I put this in the safe.
Adam: Tad Martin, you must be one hell of a private eye.
Adam: Day in and day out looking for your long-lost daughter. Jeez. You don't have a clue that she lives right next to you. You -- you've met her. You've probably held her in your arms. And you -- you don't even know it.
Adam: You're not going to learn it from me, old buddy. You stole my family, and I'm going to hold on to one little bit of yours.
Adam: Who did that?
Krystal: Adam, this baby's coming fast. I don't think I can make it down the stairs.
Adam: If you're going to -- if you're going to deliver that creature in this bed, then that's just another reason to burn the mattress. Hell, the whole damn wing!
Krystal: It's an innocent child, Adam!
Adam: Innocent? From whom did she inherit that?
Krystal: Adam, you can despise me, you can hate me, but I need help.
Adam: Yeah, you told me that you had 28 glorious hours in labor with Babe. Now -- now, according to my arithmetic, that leaves you about 27 hours left. This building is full of staff, any one of which can take you to the damn hospital! So I'm -- I'm out of here.
Kendall: You're here, and I'm touching you. It doesn't seem real.
Zach: I'm here. Right here.
Jack: Don't take her. Please don't let me lose her.
Erica: Are they here? Are -- are they ok?
Jack: They're here. Zach's ok.
Aidan: Greenlee, fight!
Joe: Get him out of here.
Nurse: Sir, you're going to have to come with me.
Joe: Charge, 360.
Aidan: Leave me alone.
Aidan: You can't -- you can't go, Greenlee, please. Please, just stay with me, stay with me.
Doctor: Still in v-fib.
Aidan: Don't go, don't go.
Joe: Again, charge. Clear!
Aidan: You got to fight. Listen to me, come back, fight! Please -- oh, you need to fight.
Aidan: Fight, Greenlee, come on.
Tad: Krystal -- Krystal, do me a favor, ok? Tell me that you're ok with, you know, what we did.
Krystal: Yeah. Yeah. Of course.
Colby: Well, somebody wants to know if Santa came.
Tad: I'll bet. "Merry kiss-mas." See, Merry Christmas -- see what I did there?
Krystal: Yes, it's --
Tad: I'm on top of it.
Colby: Very merry, now that you two are back to being friends again, huh, Jenny? Yeah.
Babe: Hey, everybody.
Krystal: Hey -- oh, hey, Little A.
Babe: What are you cooking? We can smell it from all the way outside.
Krystal: Oh, just my gingerbread biscuits.
Babe: They smell fantastic.
Krystal: Well, I hope they're ok. I was sort of bleary-eyed when I made them.
Babe: Oh, did Jenny keep you guys up last night?
Krystal: Yeah. I guess you could say she did.
Amanda: Ok. So you finally found out.
J.R.: You seem surprised.
Amanda: Yeah -- I'm surprised it took so long.
J.R.: So what was it, Amanda? Was it a game?
Amanda: No, I just wanted to torture you.
J.R.: Oh, yeah? Thank you, that's very nice.
Amanda: Hey, I wasn't going to let you go down for murder. But after the way you treated me -- hell, yeah. I wanted to see you sweat, ok? And since I knew you were never going to pay me the money you owe me --
J.R.: I was always planning to pay you.
Amanda: And since you were never going to pay me the money you owed me, I took things into my own hands. You know, I'm really thinking out rechristening her. What do you think about "Mandy's Revenge"?
J.R.: What? What do you mean, "rechristening"? This is my yacht.
Amanda: Um -- not anymore, it's not. Oh, I guess your daddy forgot to tell you that part.
J.R.: My dad? Yeah. Yeah, I guess he left out that part.
Adam: Hello? Is there someone in here? Hello?
Krystal: I have to get to a phone. Oh!
Krystal: It's the baby, Adam. It's not yours, but it's an innocent child. You got to help me, Adam. Help her! Where is the phone?
Adam: You -- you ripped it out of the wall, woman!
Krystal: Damn it, Adam, do you think this is funny?
Adam: No, I don't think it's the least bit amusing. Now, if that's it, fine. I'm going to go.
Krystal: No, wait, Adam -- Adam --
Adam: Ok. She can't get to a phone, my phone is dead -- I -- I get it. I get it. What the hell do you want from me?
Joe: Come on, Greenlee. Charge. Clear!
Doctor: We've got sinus rhythm.
Nurse: It's -- it's weak, but it's there.
Doctor: Severe hypothermia.
Joe: We need a line.
Doctor: No access.
Joe: Get a cordis in, use ultrasound. Aidan, you've done everything you possibly can, now it's our turn to try. Please, give us a chance.
Aidan: Greenlee -- listen, I promised that I'd never leave you, all right, and I meant it. But you got to fight, baby, all right? Don't give up, don't give up.
Jack: Aidan, what's going on in there?
Aidan: Uh -- her heart stopped.
Aidan: It's -- it -- they got her back, but --
Jack: Thank God.
Aidan: Oh --
Erica: Jack, that's good news. Greenlee's fighting, she's here!
Sean: Uncle Jack, you might want to come talk to Lily, she's starting to lose it.
Erica: No, Jack, you -- you stay here, I'll talk to Lily.
Jack: All right, all right.
Lily: 76, 77, 78 -- my -- my stepsister, Greenlee, is going to die.
Erica: No, Lily, Greenlee isn't gone. There's still a chance that she can get better. That's why she's here. She's surrounded by doctors, wonderful doctors who can help her.
Lily: The doctors are yelling. They're loud, they're yelling because she's going to die.
Sean: No, no, no, they're -- they're not yelling, because they're mad, Lily. They're -- they're just yelling like the way I yell when I play my video games -- you know, they're amped. They want to just make -- make sure they do a good job.
Erica: Just think of all the other times we've been here when everything turned out ok -- when Kendall had her babies way too early.
Lily: When my sister Ava had her appendix removed.
Erica: Exactly, exactly. And those times all turned out with a happy ending. Greenlee can have a happy ending, too.
Lily: Happy ending, wonderful doctors. Happy endings.
Erica: All right, I'm going to go and check on Zach. You stay here with Sean.
Lily: Ok, happy endings.
Kendall: I'm sorry.
Zach: For what?
Kendall: Everything. The -- the way that I treated you before you disappeared.
Zach: I don't even remember any of that.
Kendall: I said some horrible things to you. I mean, I -- I can't believe that I actually -- I accused you of -- of trying to control me. And -- and I blamed you for everything that we did to Greenlee. And I didn't mean any of it. I was just freaked out.
Zach: The only thing I thought about was coming home. Coming home to the boys, and to my wife and her beautiful diamond eyes.
Father Clarence: Speak to him. He'll hear you.
Aidan: Someone I care very much about is -- is, um -- oh, I don't know what I'm doing here. Anything I say is not going to change what happened. I'm -- I'm sorry.
Father Clarence: I think you're missing the point of this room.
Aidan: Well, kneeling down and feeling sorry for myself and crying -- he's not going to -- he's not going to heal her.
Father Clarence: You'd be surprised how humbling yourself like that can accomplish something.
Aidan: I got to her too late, ok? She can't survive this, and it's out of my hands, so --
Father Clarence: Lieutenant Oliver Kemp. If ever there was an impossible case, that would've been it, don't you think? Despite orders to lie low and await the rescue squad, you decided to make a difference. Oliver will never forget how you carried him out from under enemy fire.
Aidan: Who told you -- told you about that? How do you know about Ollie?
Father Clarence: He's thinking about you right now. At this very moment, Ollie is having Christmas dinner with his wife and four children. They have just offered a prayer of thanks for you, for saving his life those so many years ago. That faith that you tapped into then is still inside you. It's in this room. You have access to more power than you realize -- if you'll use it.
Kendall: I have shown both the boys your photo --
Kendall: Every day that you've been gone. I tell them what a hero their dad is. And then we would pray for you to come home soon -- at Christmas.
Zach: How's Greenlee?
Kendall: I don't know. They wouldn't tell me.
Zach: Maybe you could --
Kendall: No, no, I'm afraid to leave you. I don't want to let you go.
[Erica takes Jack's hand to offer her comfort as he waits for word of his daughter.]
Amanda: Look, I had every right to ask your dad for the yacht, too.
J.R.: Yeah? That, and ask for everything else?
Amanda: Exactly. You used me, J.R., and somebody had to pay -- that happened to be Daddy.
J.R.: Well, I hope you made it worth your while.
Amanda: Five million bucks for the humiliation you put me through -- yeah, that would pretty much cover it.
J.R.: Hmm. Un-freaking-believable.
Amanda: Ok, fine, that may have been a little harsh, but I was trying to teach you a lesson, J.R.
J.R.: By playing with my life?
Amanda: I was going to tell the cops we were together that night.
J.R.: When -- after I was tried and convicted?
Amanda: No, not that long. I was just waiting until I ruined your Christmas.
Amanda: I had no idea your dad wouldn't tell you about the DVD, but when he did --
J.R.: "DVD"? What DVD?
Amanda: Oh, my God. He didn't tell you any of this, did he? You didn't even know I struck a deal with Adam. Oh --
Tad: Ok. You want to tell me what the hell this is about?
Adam: Take your woman -- and the spawn you put in her -- and get the hell out of my house. And get the hell out of my house.
Adam: Stop that.
Adam's voice: Get the hell out of my house.
Adam: Stop it, stop it! All of it! Thank God. I -- Martin got -- deserved everything he got, including having his house burned down.
Adam's voice: I've seen you with Amanda. That love and devotion -- unparalleled. Now another child needs you. Do you think you could possibly see your way clear to help me give this child a wonderful life?
Janet: Children are sacred --
Janet: Adam. I will -- I will take care of this child as if she were my own.
Adam: Not my best decision.
Adam's voice: How would you like it if I helped you find Kate? Find Kate? Find Kate?
Adam: Stop it.
Adam's voice: Find Kate? Find Kate?
Adam: That's enough.
Adam's voice: Find Kate?
Adam: Enough already!
Adam's voice: Find Kate?
Adam: All right, all right -- I'll tell -- I'll tell Martin the whole damn truth. I'll tell him that his -- that Julia's adopted daughter is the child he's been looking for all these years, that Kathy is Kate.
Adam's voice: Find Kate?
Adam: Happy now?
Adam's voice: Find Kate? Find Kate? Find Kate?
Adam: Thank God. Yeah, maybe -- maybe I've just had too little sleep. Lack of sleep can give you all sorts of hallucinations. Maybe if I just might forget --
Adam: Again? You can just --
Adam: All right. All right, I'll tell -- tell him I found his damn daughter!
Julia: Where's your buddy? Where is he? There he is.
Tad: It's about time. What's the deal? I was supposed to find you in my Christmas stocking this morning. What happened?
Kathy: I can't fit in there.
Tad: Oh, clearly, you've never seen my stocking.
Julia: Merry Christmas, everyone!
Babe: Merry Christmas, Julia.
Julia: Hi. Oh, thank you so much for inviting us.
Krystal: Oh, you bet.
Krystal: I don't think Tad would've got through this day without his buddy Kathy.
Julia: Oh, I know that Kathy wouldn't have made it. And may I just say "nice timing"? I didn't expect you and Tad to work things out -- certainly not before the holidays.
Colby: I thought Krystal and everybody would be at my dad's. Here, let's see your coat.
Krystal: Well, uh, we're all here together now, so let's just concentrate on stuffing our faces and enjoying the day.
Colby: It's staying this way, right? I mean, I don't have to move out or anything?
Tad: Everybody is staying put. No more fights, no more arguments.
Colby: No more Dad?
Tad: Well, you know what? I don't think I can make it till after breakfast to open up my Christmas booty. So I think we should hold a vote, all right, to see -- what do you think -- one present before breakfast?
Tad: Ok, it's unanimous. So, this one here -- this says "Kathy." I wonder what it is. What do you think, huh?
Kathy: Hey, that's mine!
Tad: Oh, be that way, then. Ok, here you go. Knock yourself out.
Kathy: Is it from you?
Tad: Yep -- I just hope you like socks.
Tad: Sorry, sorry. Thank you, I'm so happy she's here.
Julia: Oh, me, too. Hey, good to see you, Mr. Out-of-left-field.
Tad: What's that supposed to mean?
Julia: Oh, well, gee, you were all geared up for a custody battle last I saw you.
Tad: Yeah, that. Well, uh, Krystal and I decided that we had to put Jenny first. You know, she deserves a good home with two parents that get along, aren't at each other's throats all the time.
Julia: Oh, good.
Babe: Look at that.
Kathy: Thank you!
Tad: You're welcome. That's really special what you got there. You know what it is? Out of the way. Go stand over there, would you?
Colby: Ok, thanks.
Tad: This is a family ornament. More importantly, it's a Martin family ornament. So every year, we're going to hang this on the tree. So every year when you come through that door, you will know that you are part of the family, ok? Oh --
Kathy: Thank you, Tad!
Tad: You are so welcome.
Julia: Hey, why don't you ask Tad to help you hang it up?
Tad: That's a great idea, a great idea. What do you say? You pick a spot. What do you think? Go ahead.
Tad: Just like that, come here. Look, see?
Tad: There you go.
Aidan: My friend Kemp -- I wasn't responsible for his injury. But he was hurt badly, and I knew that if I didn't get him help, that he would die. I actually could do something to save him, so I did.
Father Clarence: And you don't think that's the case with Greenlee?
Aidan: I'm telling you, Father, if I could help her -- in fact, I beg you, tell me how. I told her that she could trust me.
Father Clarence: You love her very much, don't you?
Father Clarence: Well, that's everything.
Aidan: Yeah, but it's not enough to -- to save her life, though, is it?
Father Clarence: Look, if it's Greenlee's turn, there's nothing we can do. If it's not, love -- love is -- is absolutely magic. Magic, and it's -- it's the world's most powerful medicine. But, of course, the doctors will do what they can. But -- but between you and me, you are Greenlee's best hope. You have the power to make her live. It's -- it's inside you. It's there. Now, what are you going to do with it?
[Ambulance siren blares]
Sean: You want to listen to some music, drown out the noise around here?
Lily: Their mouths are down.
Sean: They're worried.
Lily: Because Greenlee could die. She's my stepsister, she's my dad's biological daughter, she's not adopted like me.
Sean: Uncle Jack doesn't see it like that, though, Lily. I mean, he thinks of all of us as his kids, even me. Which is why as hard as it is for you to be here, I know it means a lot to him.
Jack: Hi. Hi, sweetheart. How -- how you doing?
Lily: I'm better.
Lily: I just wanted to tell you something.
Lily: I love you.
Jack: I love you, too. And if I could, I would give you the biggest hug in the world right now. Thank you.
[Lily reaches out and holds her dad's hand]
Joe: She's crashing! Get me 300 of amiodarone! Set the paddle for 360 now! Get the OR on standby!
Kendall: It sounds like it's coming from Greenlee's cubicle.
Zach: Greenlee could be dying.
Kendall: No, no, no, no, no -- Zach, you -- you need to stay, you can't go anywhere. Stay here, ok? I will find out what's going on. Stay. Mom, what's happening? Oh, my God -- Greenlee.
Aidan: Please, God. Don't take her, ok? Don't let her die.
Sean: Hey, Aidan! You need to come back -- it's not good.
Erica: I know I don't talk to you very often, but please let Greenlee get through this. Please keep her alive. Today of all days, please be with her, please pull her through this.
Kendall: She isn't dying, Mother. She can't die.
Jack: Oh, God, please no.
Joe: Charge. Clear!
Aidan: Greenlee -- Greenlee?
[Aidan breaks down and cries]
Amanda: I had you confess all your sins and I taped it. I was going to use it to blackmail you, but I ended up with something a lot more valuable. Look, I know it wasn't my proudest moment, but it could've been a lot worse, J.R. I was pretty pissed at you.
J.R.: The disc -- my father handed it to me, told me to put it in the safe. He even asked me if I wanted to know what was on it. That bastard led me to believe I killed a man.
Amanda: I told you he's a creep.
J.R.: Well, I hope you kept a copy of the DVD.
Amanda: Yes, of course, I did.
J.R.: Call Chief Frye, tell him to get me off the hook.
["We Wish You a Merry Christmas" plays]
Julia: Oh, my goodness. Look at that!
Colby: Doesn't she look cute?
Julia: How cute her little dress is.
Babe: All right, all right, spill. There is something more to this sudden peace treaty with you and Tad and I want to know what it is.
Krystal: I say we shelve this discussion until later, ok? I promise you I'll tell you everything when the time is right.
Tad: You know what? I bet you anything Santa Claus smelled all the home cooking and decided he was going to stop by for a meal. But I see he thought he'd dress up like Ebenezer Scrooge.
Adam: I have some news for you.
Krystal: Oh, yeah, that's good. Draw another one right there.
Colby: Merry Christmas, Dad! Oh, I didn't think I'd see you till later.
Julia: Happy holidays, Adam.
Little Adam: Do you know Santa Claus' baby?
Krystal: Yeah. Hello, Adam.
Krystal: I -- well, I don't know why you came by, but it's probably a good thing that you did. Um -- Tad and I have been doing a lot of talking and -- um -- well, we just figured that all this fighting is not the best thing for Jenny.
Adam: I really think that you should hear what I have to say. It could change everything.
Krystal: What I have to say could do the same thing, Adam.
Adam: Please, just -- just let me go first.
Krystal: Let -- let me get this off my chest, ok?
Tad: Both of you, just stop. I'll do it, I'll tell him.
Kendall: No, no, no, no, no. No, no, no, this is not happening. No, no.
Joe: Let's call it.
Erica: No, no, Joe, please -- please wait.
Jack: Greenlee -- you look so beautiful. Even now, so --
Aidan: No, Joe. No, don't even think about it, all right? She's not dead. She's not -- look at her. Greenlee -- Greenlee, just open your eyes. Just open your eyes. Come on, come here. Baby, I love you so much. You can't go now, because it's not your time, all right? We have a wonderful life ahead of us. Yes, we do. You can't go now, because I'm not going to let you go. I love you so much, so you need to stay, ok? You need to stay -- you need to stay, darling. Don't go.
Derek: I have to say, that little disc answered a hell of a lot of questions about you, Chandler.
J.R.: Well, my drunken confession is not going to hold up in court, but Amanda's sober alibi will. I wasn't anywhere near Zach Slater when he went missing.
Derek: Well, Slater isn't missing anymore.
Derek: He was found last night in an old abandoned bomb shelter with Greenlee Smythe.
Derek: Last I heard, they were taken to the hospital.
J.R.: Well, then let's go see them, they'll corroborate Amanda's story. I wasn't driving that car when he was hit.
Derek: You're not going anywhere except straight back to your father's house, J.R. At the moment, you're still under house arrest.
J.R.: Back home to dear old dad's.
Derek: I know you can do better than that jerk. If your dad were here, he --
Amanda: Yeah, but he's not.
Derek: I'll need to take an official statement from you down at the station.
Amanda: Just say when.
Derek: I'll get back to you.
Tad: Look, all I'm saying is --
Krystal: Listen to me, he needs to hear this from me. Don't say anything --
Adam: I -- I don't know what you two are whispering about, but if you could just give me two seconds. What I have to say is pressing here.
Tad: Adam, it can't be any more important than what I have to tell you. Last night, Krystal and I got married.
Zach: What the hell is going on out there? Hey.
Myrtle: You came home, darling. You came home!
Zach: Come here.
Joe: Aidan, it's time to let her go.
Aidan: No, Joe, no. I'm not letting her go. You're coming back to me, Greenlee, I know it, you are. You can't do this, all right? You can't do this, not now. You have to open up your eyes. Open up your eyes, I love you so much!
Aidan: She's back!
Aidan: She's -- she just took a breath.
Aidan: She just took a breath.
Kendall: What? What? What?
Joe: Aidan, let us do our work. Let us -- let us do our work.
Father Clarence: Merry Christmas, everyone. Merry Christmas.
>> On the next "All My Children" --
