Judge: Remove the prisoner!
Kendall: Oh, what --
Erica: Oh, God.
Kendall: In the hell just happened?
Zach: Greenlee pulled off a very elaborate escape.
Derek: Are you kidding me? You let the defendant out of your sight?
Bailiff: I don't know what happened, Chief Frye.
Derek: You let her get away -- that's what happened!
Bailiff: She was right there -- I had my eye on her. Next thing I know, fireworks are spraying everywhere --
Derek: You see anything?
Bailiff: The alarm's going off, firemen are rushing in.
Josh: Other than complete pandemonium, no.
[Ryan silently watches as Aidan, dressed as a fireman, carries Greenlee away]
Jack: This is a nightmare.
Erica: Oh, I know. I'm -- I'm so sorry, Jack. I'm so sorry. I mean, it breaks my heart. Here you put all this faith and trust in your daughter.
Jack: Just for the record, I still have faith in my daughter.
Erica: Of course, you do. That's the kind of father you are, and Greenlee knows that and she counts on that.
Jack: Whoa, whoa, whoa. You just better stop right now, ok?
Erica: No, I -- I am only saying that -- Jack, it's obvious that Greenlee planned this getaway all along. And yet, she had you believe that she was going to take her punishment.
Jack: The only reason we're in this courtroom right now is because your daughter framed Greenlee to make it look like she committed a crime that she did not commit.
Erica: Jack --
Jack: And right now, my daughter is out there, God knows where, with God knows how many armed officers trying to find her. And if one of them makes a mistake, she's dead, she's in the morgue -- do you get that? So don't you stand here and Greenlee-bash. If you're going to do that, just walk right out that door.
Greenlee: You know, I know you had a plan to rescue me, but, oh, my God, Aidan -- what just happened at the courthouse, that was not what I expected.
Aidan: Yep, I know. But, bottom line -- it worked.
Greenlee: Yeah, but how and who helped you and where did you get this fireman getup? And, ok, shut up, Greenlee, shut up, Greenlee. Bottom line -- it worked.
Aidan: You're really learning.
Greenlee: Aidan, what about you? I mean, they're going to know you're the one who broke me out.
[Horse neighs in Wildwind's stables]
Aidan: They may suspect something, but they have no proof. Besides, you're worth it.
Greenlee: You're just -- you're -- you're my hero. I mean, you believed in me.
Aidan: Hey, hey, hey --
Greenlee: You saved me --
Aidan: If you're about to say "Thank you," all right, "thank yous" are banned until I prove that you're innocent and that you were set up.
Greenlee: Yeah, but --
Aidan: Then we can have a big party to celebrate
Greenlee: Ok. No "thank yous," but I don't know -- maybe -- maybe there's some --
Greenlee: Other way I can show my appreciation? Any ideas?
[Music plays at The Comeback]
J.R.: Ahem. My life pretty much sucked when I came in here tonight. I had control over everything -- over everything that mattered. At least I thought I did.
Bartender: You moved on from club soda?
J.R.: Your best scotch -- neat.
Amanda: I've been looking all over town for you, J.R. I didn't think I'd find you at the bottom of a bottle.
Babe: Are you ok?
Richie: Yeah -- ahem. I'm just a klutz.
Babe: No, that wasn't clumsiness. Something's wrong, Richie. Would it kill you to be honest for once?
Richie: No, honesty won't kill me. Leukemia will.
Babe: Ok, Richie, that's not funny.
Richie: It's not meant to be.
Annie: Hey. I tried to call you, but your phone was turned off. Kathy's sleeping over. She and Emma are upstairs making up a play that they want to put on for us after dinner, so -- Ryan, what's wrong? Hey. Hey, hey, hey. What -- are you ok?
Ryan: "Am I ok?" -- That is a good question, and one that I don't have a very good answer to, actually. I mean, sometimes I really think that I'm losing my mind a little bit, you know? Like I don't know which way is up anymore, who's good, who's bad. It's all kind of blending together a little bit, and I honestly don't know where I land on that scale.
Annie: Of good and bad -- are you serious?
Ryan: Aidan helped Greenlee escape.
Ryan: I showed up at the courthouse for the hearing and there was total chaos. There was fire alarms and smoke, and I saw them -- I saw Aidan carrying Greenlee to freedom.
Annie: And -- and you couldn't stop them?
Ryan: I didn't try. I stepped out of the way, actually.
Ryan: Because I guess I wanted them to have a chance to get away. And I didn't tell anybody about it. I didn't tell Jack, I didn't tell Kendall -- just you. So, maybe you can tell me. What I did -- good guy or bad guy?
Aidan: Hmm. You know, as much as I'd like to continue that --
Greenlee: Huh -- you have a plan, and I am not going to question Special Ops on strategy.
Greenlee: But, um, Wildwind stables, I --
Aidan: It is temporary, Greenlee.
Greenlee: Oh, ok. So, then where to next?
Aidan: Do you know how to ride a chopper?
Greenlee: Yes, thank God. I thought you were going to tell me that we're going to make our getaway on one of these four-legged friends over there.
Aidan: No, no horses, but I do have some bikes stashed here, but we do have to move fast, all right?
Greenlee: Ok, let's go, let's go.
Aidan: First, I have a disguise for you to wear.
Greenlee: What disguise?
Aidan: I brought you one. It's in this bag.
Greenlee: Ok. Um -- I put on the disguise, I jump on a bike. Where are we going next?
Aidan: Well, for now, an out-of-the-way house that I found. And as soon as things quiet down, I plan to get you across the border to Canada.
Aidan: Yeah, don't worry about it. It's going to be fine, all right? I have some friends there that have agreed to keep you hidden until I clear your name. Ok?
Greenlee: Ok. Yeah. Aidan, the house, your friends, everything -- it's like 20 "thank yous" I've swallowed since we got here. Please, can you just lift the "thank you" ban for a minute? Come on.
Aidan: No, Greenlee, I can't -- I'm serious -- not until I come through on all these promises. But we must get changed now, all right? The sooner we do that, the sooner we can get on the road.
Greenlee: Ok. I -- look at that. It's just a --
Aidan: Button caught?
Greenlee: Yeah, I don't know. Hmm.
Erica: Jack, I -- I'm really sorry if it came across that I was taking your concerns lightly. I didn't mean that at all. It didn't come across the right way.
Jack: That's exactly how it came across.
Erica: Well, I know how much your children mean to you. It's just killing me to see you hurting like this.
Jack: Look, look, I know -- I know that you're worried about me, and I appreciate that, but I also know that your compassion does not extend to my daughter.
Erica: Well, of course not -- I mean, how could it? She's the reason that you're so upset. And Josh told me what Greenlee said in court in her confession.
Jack: Her confession is a lie, Erica, and you know that!
Erica: Jack, what I know is that it's very hard for you to accept the fact that your daughter has done a lot of terrible things.
Jack: Ok, ok.
Erica: But sooner or later, Jack, you're going to have to.
Jack: This conversation's over.
Erica: No, please -- Jack, please. Just -- please just don't blame yourself for this, please, because it's not your fault. You didn't raise her.
Jack: Is that how you're getting through this? You didn't raise Kendall, so her crime is not your fault? Is that working for you? Because let's not kid ourselves here -- the reason we're here is because of Kendall. She's not a victim in this. She did something, Erica, so hateful that the only way Greenlee could figure out how to survive it was to become a fugitive.
Kendall: I should've come forward sooner. I -- I mean, now Greenlee thinks that I let her take the fall. You saw her face, Zach -- she hates me. I mean, you know she's probably planning some sort of crazy retaliation now.
Zach: Did you notice her champion wasn't in court today?
Kendall: Aidan? You think he planned this whole thing? Ok, you know what? I want to get out of here. Let's -- let's go pick up Spike, let's go to the hospital, and I want to go see Ian. I want to make sure he's ok.
Zach: Ian's fine. He's got nurses with him all night. Don't worry about it.
Kendall: Yeah, but Greenlee has gotten past nurses before. You said yourself we're dealing with a loose cannon. So I won't take my chances, not with my boys -- not ever again.
Zach: Come on.
J.R.: Sit, relax. Order yourself something all sugary and girly the way you like it.
Amanda: J.R., what happened to make you do this? Is it your network -- did your financing fall through?
J.R.: Here's a thought -- how's about we stop the therapy session and just enjoy the evening? And if you think I'm wild in the sack when I'm sober --
Amanda: You know what? God forbid I try and have an actual conversation with you, try to help you.
J.R.: I wasn't asking for your help.
Amanda: Well, it's all flooding back now, what a jerk you are when you're drinking. The things you say and do, it's no wonder Babe left you.
J.R.: What's that supposed to mean?
Amanda: It means she didn't want to be married to you anymore.
J.R.: Oh, yeah? Is that what she said?
Amanda: She didn't have to, J.R., but yeah. We're friends, we talk.
J.R.: Yeah, well, I wasn't serious about the proposal anyway.
Amanda: You proposed to Babe?
J.R.: I mean, what is it?
Amanda: What were you thinking?
J.R.: I wasn't even serious. I mean, what -- you know, being married to me is such a nightmare that, what, oh, yeah, she'll just jump right back in the sack with me, we'll have mind-blowing sex, but being married to me is not good enough? Is that it?
Amanda: You slept with Babe?
Babe: My God, Richie. So -- so it's true? You -- you really are sick?
Richie: Yeah, I never meant anyone to find out, especially not Annie.
Babe: Well, I know that the pills you're taking are -- are for someone who's pretty bad off, but -- but, you know, there is a boy in my son's play group who's been in remission almost a year.
Richie: Yeah, well, my leukemia's pretty rare, so I try not to dwell on the negative, but I figured if I have this rare disease, then it just proves what I already know about myself -- I'm special, one of the chosen few.
Babe: You're dying, and you're making jokes?
Richie: Oh. You know, knowing that your time is coming to an end isn't so bad. It just makes me appreciate life more. Feel that.
Babe: The breeze?
Richie: You know, it's true. You take things for granted until you realize you might not see them again, feel them again. Man, I am going to miss that pretty face.
Babe: Do you know how much time you have?
Richie: About 47 minutes. You want to grant a dying man his last wish?
Babe: Ok, stop it, Richie. It's not funny.
Richie: Well, for me it has to be. Otherwise, I'd -- I'd walk around depressed and feeling sorry for myself, and I don't need that.
Babe: Well, you're dealing with it better than I would.
Richie: Didn't always, you know? Talking helps. I told you I had a shrink in prison -- he was a great guy. He taught me to live life one day at a time.
Babe: So -- so you really did come back to Pine Valley to reconnect with your sister?
Babe: Well, I think it's a good thing. Maybe not necessarily how you went about it, but -- but a good thing.
Richie: Man. It feels good to have someone actually, finally believe me. Now, if only Annie would.
Zach: Hey, Joe.
Kendall: Hey, Joe. We have come to take Ian home.
Joe: What -- what is all this?
Kendall: Well, Greenlee has escaped and -- and she's out there and probably going crazy, holding some big grudge against the two of us. So I'm -- I'm afraid, and I need to keep our family together.
Joe: Well, Kendall, taking Ian home is really not an option. We're still aiming at a Thanksgiving Day release.
Zach: Listen to him. We don't want to take any chances with Ian.
Joe: Ian is perfectly safe here.
Zach: Nothing's going to happen to him.
Kendall: You don't know that for sure, Zach. Ian and Spike need us, and they need us to be together. So if we can't take Ian home, then the only other option is for us to move in here with him.
Greenlee: What do you think? Is it going to work.
Aidan: Well, you look like a bloke to me. Come here. A bloke with a really nice butt, that is.
Greenlee: What if it's the cops? What if -- what if they found us?
Aidan: Get behind there.
Julia: Oh, God! Aidan, you scared me to death. What are you doing in here?
Greenlee: Hi, Julia.
Aidan: Way to stay in character, Troy.
Julia: My God. Greenlee, everybody and their mother is out looking for you.
Aidan: I couldn't let her go to prison, Julia, all right? She was framed. I'll prove it. I just need a little bit of time.
Julia: Did you have to bust her out of a court hearing to do it? And I heard you pled guilty.
Greenlee: Well, the fireworks went off before I had a chance to.
Aidan: Julia, I need you to swear to me that you're not going to tell a soul that you saw us.
Julia: What if I do? Then what?
Amanda: You slept with Babe? One of my best friends?
J.R.: Ahem. Hmm. I swear I didn't connect any of those dots when it happened.
Amanda: You are a total pig.
J.R.: It was a one-time, one-time lapse in judgment. Can we just forget that I said anything?
Amanda: And you asked her to marry you?
J.R.: Again, it was a big mistake. But if any good came out of this, I realized how great I have it with you.
Amanda: And what do you have with me, other than sex?
J.R.: Fun, laughs, good times. I mean, that's what's so great about us. We have all that and none of the -- you know.
J.R.: Yes! No, no.
Amanda: You are unreal. I hope you drink until your liver explodes. Here -- here you go, to make sure that you are off to a running start.
[Amanda pours a drink down J.R.'s pants]
Richie: I haven't talked about my cancer since I left prison. It's not so bad.
Babe: Well, I'm sure more people would listen if you gave them a chance.
Richie: If by "more people," you mean Annie, you're wrong.
Babe: Well, at least give it a try, Richie.
Richie: Oh, I have given it a try, but that -- that brother-in-law of mine is just mean.
Babe: Ryan's not a mean person.
Richie: Not to you.
Babe: He's -- he's just protective of Annie, that's all.
Richie: "Protective"? Huh. Babe, Ryan came into my office yesterday and handcuffed me to the desk, and that was just the start of the entire day of torture.
Annie: Hey. You are a good man. But, Ryan, why did you let Aidan and Greenlee get away?
Ryan: The truth? Because I actually believe Greenlee. I believe her. I believe that she was set up, I believe that Kendall planned this whole fake kidnapping thing.
Annie: Ryan, if that is true --
Ryan: Believe me, I know. I'm the one that went off on Greenlee when I thought she was guilty. I called her a liar to her face.
Annie: Are you sure she isn't lying?
Ryan: I wasn't. I wasn't sure of anything, so I went over to Zach and Kendall's to confront them, and that's what sealed it for me.
Annie: Did they admit setting her up?
Ryan: No, they did not, but I could see it on Kendall's face how guilty she looked, and Zach -- Zach couldn't even deny it.
Annie: Oh, my God. It's like the same thing I did to Richie. I mean, Kendall thought she was doing the right thing. She lied to put Greenlee behind bars.
Ryan: Yeah, but there's a difference and the difference between Greenlee and your brother is, I mean, I honestly believe that Greenlee was no longer a danger. Before the arrest, she really sounded like she was ready to move on, like she wasn't obsessed with becoming part of our family anymore.
Annie: So, Kendall risked her own freedom for nothing?
Annie: Oh, God. Ryan, I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry, and I'm so sorry that -- that your son is in the middle of this.
Ryan: I know that I should be really, really angry about this, but I'm just kind of, like -- I'm just numb, you know, because I've been through it so many times, one crisis after the other. Try to protect my family from one thing, and then wham -- something else hits us.
Jack: So now they can't find Aidan, you say? Well, that's great. Yeah, that's just -- that's -- no, no. I -- I appreciate the update, thanks. Ah, damn. So, I see you're still here.
Erica: I can't let you go through this alone, Jack.
Jack: And I can't listen to you badmouth Greenlee anymore.
Erica: I won't.
Jack: Huh. I'm not so sure you can stop yourself.
Erica: I heard that Greenlee is with Aidan?
Jack: They don't know that for sure.
Erica: Well, if she is, I hope that you'll take comfort in that, because she and Aidan have obviously gotten very close and then he'll protect her.
Jack: My daughter is a fugitive. Armed police officers are looking for her. If just one of them is trigger-happy, Aidan's not going to be able to protect her at all and she's --
Erica: I'm just trying to help.
Jack: I don't think I want your help.
Erica: Ok. Then I won't bother anymore. My daughter's going through hell now, too, Jack. And if you don't need me, Kendall sure as hell does.
Kendall: Hey, sweet boy, Ian. Hi, honey. We are moving in with you -- that's right. Spikey and your daddy and me -- we're all going to be here together.
Kendall: That's right, baby -- won't that be fun?
Zach: Or we could hire a whole team of guards and, you know, maybe that would make you feel better.
Kendall: Well, you can hire as many guards as you want to. I am not leaving my boys. Yeah, that's right.
Zach: Can we get another crib and a cot for my wife, Joe? Can we do that?
Joe: All right. I'll see what I can do.
Kendall: Oh, he's -- oh. I hate this, Zach. I really, really hate this.
Zach: I know.
Kendall: I mean, five more minutes and -- and I would've confessed and this would all be over. None of this would be happening.
Zach: No, it wouldn't be over. You'd be in jail.
Kendall: Yes, but at least I could explain to them. I could say that -- that I thought that Greenlee was going to take Spike, but that she wasn't and that I made a mistake.
Zach: Stop, stop, stop. This is about what is right now. What -- what could've been is not really that important.
Kendall: Ok. But it's not too late. It's not too late to go to Derek and -- and, you know, I can tell him that --
Zach: Tell him what? Tell him you want to spend the rest of your life behind bars? Yeah, away from me, away from your boys? You can tell him that for what -- for Greenlee? The woman who almost killed Spike, the woman who took all those moments away from you and Ian -- you want to tell him that?
Kendall: But I can't help but wish that I could just do it all over again and do it differently, because I did everything wrong, Zach. And now, it's too late for Greenlee, and maybe it's too late for us.
Ryan: I just want everything to be normal again.
Annie: When were we ever normal?
Ryan: Good point.
Ryan: Yeah, well, it's not too late. Think about it. Think about me just coming home from work and walking through the door and flipping through the mail, watching a little TV and just passing out on the couch.
Annie: No sex?
Ryan: Always sex. Hey, did you say that Emma and Kathy are upstairs?
Annie: I think the sex is going to have to wait. However, I think I do have a way of hooking you up with the rest of your fantasy.
Babe: Ryan had your blood drawn, right there on the plane?
Richie: Yeah, he duct-taped one arm, and he shackled the other.
Babe: Oh, that's insane.
Richie: If you add to that that I'm way claustrophobic from my days in lockup -- I mean, you can imagine how I handled it. It was just -- I lost so much control on all levels. And unfortunately, the pilot ended up hitting his head and there was no one to man the plane.
Richie: We barely made it down in one piece.
Babe: Ok, ok -- are you serious? This all really happened?
Richie: Do you think I could make up a story like this?
Babe: I just -- I just can't imagine Ryan doing something like that.
Richie: Call the airport. The traffic controller had to -- had to call him down. It was a pretty terrifying landing.
Babe: What a nightmare.
Richie: Right, all because Ryan and Annie wouldn't believe me.
Babe: Well, Richie, you have lied to them repeatedly. I mean -- I mean, why didn't you just admit you had leukemia in the first place?
Richie: I don't want anybody feeling sorry for me.
Babe: Who's feeling sorry for you? I'm actually a little ticked off you weren't honest with me from the start.
Richie: I guess it's the prison thing. You know, there you got to lie to survive. I couldn't tell the other inmates I was sick. They'd see it as a weakness. They'd use it against me.
Babe: But you're not in prison anymore.
Richie: Old habits die hard? Even when I know I'm doing something wrong, for some reason, I sometimes just go on and do them, just because it's comfortable, because it's familiar. Does that make any sense?
Babe: Yeah. I guess it does.
[Richie throws a rock in the water as J.R. watches from the bushes drinking from a bottle]
J.R.: Well, perfect ending to an already miserable evening.
Julia: Are you guys sure you thought this through? Because going on the run is not romantic and exciting the way that it seems in the movies. It's terrifying. I know because I lived that way for 10 years.
Aidan: Greenlee's situation is a little bit different from yours.
Julia: Yeah. Maybe. But there are a few things that you can count on. You can't ever let your guard down, you can't get a good night's sleep, and you can't trust anyone. And you're not going to have any friends, and you're going to have barely any contact with your family. It's a lonely and it's a depressing way to live. And there's no guarantee that it's going to pay off, either.
Aidan: Julia, you're in the Witness Protection Program, right? All I need to do is get Greenlee out of sight for, like, three weeks, that's it. Until I can clear her name. Please, tell me that I can trust you not to rat us out, Julia, come on.
Julia: I won't say anything. But, Greenlee, you really need to think about this. It might just be for a few weeks. But it may be for a lot longer. It's your life. You've got to think if you want to live it like this.
Joe: Ok, I made the arrangements. An orderly is on his way up here with a crib.
Kendall: Oh, thank you so much, Joe.
Zach: I know this is against your better judgment, but probably best for the family.
Joe: Now, look, I don't like being the bad guy in this, but I know how much family means to you, so I'll say this once and once only, but you do need to be aware of my position on this.
Erica: Joe --
Erica: I don't believe you. I don't believe that you could possibly tell them right now when obviously -- obviously, Kendall -- the whole family is just so distraught.
Joe: I was just telling them they could stay here with Ian until Greenlee is found. The rest, I leave up to you, Erica. Excuse me.
Kendall: Ok, Mom, there was a lot of tension between you and Joe. So tell me, honestly, what did you do?
Zach: Probably not the best time to keep things from your daughter. What happened?
Erica: You know those -- those papers to have Greenlee committed for psychiatric help?
Kendall: Oh, no --
Zach: You did that?
Erica: Adam helped me, actually. Adam helped me to arrange it, and we arranged for Greenlee's mother's signature to be forged.
Kendall: Oh, mother -- the DA saw those papers as -- as more proof that Greenlee is unstable. It just made the case against her worse.
Erica: Greenlee is unstable. And after what she said in court today, I'm sure that everyone sees now that she is unstable.
Kendall: Yes, I understand that, but Greenlee lied because she hates me, Mom. She hates all of us.
Erica: I know.
Kendall: Well, you just gave her one more reason to make our lives a living hell.
Greenlee: What you said about not having contact with family -- it's just that -- well, Jack and I, we've gotten so much closer, and he has so much faith in me. It kills me to think that he's going to be worrying about me.
Julia: I can let him know you're all right.
Aidan: No. That's not a good idea, all right? Jack's a good man, but he is way too by-the-book. Knowing anything about what we are doing here is -- it's going to put him in a really bad position, ethically. Not to mention the fact that you -- you're going to be an accessory to all of this.
Julia: I don't have to give him any details.
Greenlee: No. No. I mean, I would love that, but you can't. We'll just -- we'll have to do it this way, and -- and -- and when Jack finds out why, he'll understand, I hope. I mean, as long as he knows I love him.
Derek: My men are pretty sure that Aidan Devane was behind your daughter's escape. And given his profession, we also have to assume that they are armed. I've alerted the Border Patrol.
Jack: Oh, come on, Derek. We're not dealing with hardened criminals here, ok?
Derek: We don't know what we're dealing with.
Jack: I have a favor to ask you, father to father. Please give Greenlee the benefit of the doubt. List her as a missing person.
Derek: I can't do that, Jack. As a father, I wish I could. And as an attorney, you know I can't.
Erica: Kendall, you're right. We've all made mistakes. But no matter how desperate our actions were, our motives were pure. We all were on the same page about this. We all thought the same thing. All we wanted to do was stop Greenlee from hurting you and your family.
Kendall: Yes, I know, but the irony is Greenlee had stopped all on her own.
Zach: You'll drive yourself crazy going backward.
Kendall: Ugh. Ok, don't you think that I wanted to -- to turn off my thoughts? But I can't, and I don't understand how you do. The -- the fact is that we all did something that we thought was right, but we were wrong. And -- and if something happens to my babies, I will never --
Erica: No, no, no, listen to me. Do not blame yourself. And don't blame Zach, and don't blame me, either. Because we all had very good reason to think that Greenlee was a very real threat to you -- to your whole family.
Zach: Listen to your mom. Here you go. Focus on the future, stick to our plan. I'll get some security.
Kendall: I wonder where Greenlee is right now. She's probably scared out of her mind hiding somewhere.
Erica: Tell me something, honey. Why do you think that Greenlee is a real threat to you and your boys?
Kendall: Because I think she's like a wounded animal, and she could strike at any time. And no matter how bad I feel for what I did to her, I cannot allow her to take her revenge out on my sons.
Ryan: Hey, guys. You want to stay down here and watch a movie with us?
Kathy: A movie?
Ryan: Yeah, a movie. That didn't sound very excited.
Kathy: It just sounds kind of boring right now.
Ryan and Annie: Exactly.
Richie: I don't know how much time I have left, but there are three things I want to accomplish. Make up for lost time with my sister, take full advantage of the business opportunity Ryan gave me, and prove to you that I'm not such a bad guy after all.
Babe: Well, you better have 20 good years ahead of you.
Richie: Ha-ha-ha, very funny. Does that mean I -- I can get another first date?
Babe: Oh --
Richie: Hey, no morgues, guaranteed this time.
Babe: Ok, you are relentless.
Richie: Relentless good or relentless bad?
Babe: Relentless relentless.
Richie: So about that date?
Babe: Ok. All right. Lunch.
Babe: I don't know.
Richie: Tomorrow it is, then.
[While Richie and Babe sit together on a bench, J.R. lies passed out in the shrubbery behind them]
Jack: Mary, it's Jack. I don't know if Greenlee has tried to reach you, and I'm not sure that she will since you tried to have her committed, but if she does try to get ahold of you, will you please, please reach me? Thanks. Julia, why -- why are you here?
Julia: Can -- can we talk in private?
Jack: Yeah, sure, come on. What?
Julia: I have news about Greenlee.
Jack: Oh, my God -- she -- she wasn't brought to the hospital, was she?
Julia: Oh, no, no, nothing like that. She's perfectly fine. I just saw her.
Jack: You just saw -- where?
Julia: I can't tell you.
Jack: Oh, come on, Julia.
Julia: Look, she didn't even want me to find you, because she knew that it would cause trouble for me and for you, but -- she said some things, Jack, and I just thought you wanted to hear.
