Ryan: What the hell have you be doing?
Richie: Shopping. You like it? It's one of those plants you just can't kill. Keeps on living.
Ryan: You understand why I hired you, right? You're a smart guy, you get it?
Richie: Oh, yes, sir. Scut-level research -- I've got it knocked. You saw the file, right?
Ryan: No, I saw this in the file. "Pediatric hearing loss, a review of surgical remedies."
Richie: Just trying to help.
Ryan: You don't even "think" about my son.
Kendall: Greenlee will get what she deserves.
[Door closes when Zach walks in]
Kendall: Hey. You -- you are home so early.
Zach: Me home early used to be a good thing. Ah!
Kendall: Yeah, but, I mean, is there -- is there something going on?
Zach: Yes. Come here -- oh, stinker! It's a groundbreaking development. What are you drinking?
Zach: Is that my beer you're drinking?
Kendall: Yeah -- you know what, Zach? We're kind of in a hurry right now.
Zach: Well, no more hurrying today. You, me, and the kid are going up to the lake for a picnic.
Kendall: Uh -- it sounds so nice, but we can't. We have a play date that we planned a long time ago.
Zach: Well, reschedule. Play with me.
Kendall: Uh --
Zach: Play with me.
Kendall: I -- I can't, Zach.
Jack: Erica, please tell me you're joking.
Erica: Jack, how could I possibly be joking when I have reason to believe that Greenlee is about to take Kendall's baby away again?
Jack: Wait a minute, now -- "reason to believe"? What reason?
Erica: For one thing, I just saw the look between you and Greenlee. I mean, my God -- it's as if you were sealing a pact.
Jack: I see. So, now I'm a co-conspirator? Where do you get this stuff?
Erica: Look, Greenlee just told you something monumental, didn't she? I mean, please, Jack, tell me. I'm -- please. And -- and don't tell me that this is some sort of client/patient/attorney thing.
Jack: No, no, no -- I was not going to say that at all. What I'm going to say is that Greenlee has every right to her privacy.
Erica: Well, Greenlee herself is talking about this, Jack. She's talking about babies, so you are free to speak. Kendall told me that Greenlee is -- is imagining herself as a mother.
Jack: So what if she is? Is that so horrible?
Erica: Jack, it's no secret that Greenlee has been obsessed with -- with Kendall and Ryan's little boy. It's no secret that she sued for custody of Spike. It's no secret that she took off with Spike.
Jack: It's no secret that Greenlee has made some terrible, terrible choices, but she is trying desperately to make things right.
Erica: She is desperate -- that's true. Only now, she's more experienced, as well.
Jack: And what the hell does that mean?
Erica: That means that she'll do a better job this time, Jack. She'll be calmer and cooler, and she will take off with Kendall's baby faster.
Jack: Erica, listen to me. Greenlee's plans have absolutely nothing to do with Kendall's son.
Erica: Are you 100% sure? Because if you're not, Jack -- I mean, what then? What then?
Greenlee: What, you hit pay dirt. I can see it.
Aidan: I might have found something. Quick, take a look.
Greenlee: "12256-A." I -- I memorized that number the first time I broke into Madden's clinic. It's -- it's burned in the back of my brain. I could recite it in my sleep. "Lavery, Greenlee and Ryan." Aidan, these are my fertilized eggs. Zach made me believe that he had destroyed a part of me -- my embryos, my chance to be a mother. But he didn't -- that bastard. He kept them alive.
Kendall: Sorry I snapped. I -- it's just that --
Zach: It's what?
Kendall: I don't know. I -- I -- you came home early, and I've got this play date.
Zach: All right. Who do you have a play date with?
Kendall: No one that you know -- just some moms from the Miranda Center. I'm just trying to give Spike a taste of what normal life used to be.
Zach: And will be again.
Kendall: Yes, and will be again -- after he gets the surgery, if -- if he can have the surgery.
Zach: You know what? Normal life should include going up to the lake and jumping in leaves and throwing rocks in the water, that kind of stuff.
Kendall: Yeah, Zach, that sounds wonderful. I know Spike would love that and so would I. But not today, ok? Maybe on the weekend. Ok, this is not just a regular play date. I'm -- I'm -- ooh. I'm in charge of the Halloween costumes.
Zach: You? You don't know how to sew.
Kendall: Well, I'm the style consultant.
Zach: Ok, well, I guess it's Halloween. All right. So when you're done -- I'll come pick you up and the three of us will go have dinner. How about that?
Kendall: Uh -- no, that's not going to work. Um -- I've got to go to Fusion, Spike's going to come with me. He's going to take a nap there, and we have to go over the spring launch.
Zach: And you have to do that today, huh?
Kendall: Yeah. I mean, everyone's signed off on it but me.
Kendall: I need to be there, Zach.
Zach: Because of Greenlee? She's not going to run our life, not anymore.
Greenlee: That little girl over there? On the edge of the sandbox? How old do you think she is?
Aidan: I don't know -- not very old.
Greenlee: Spike's age? Yeah, she's probably Spike's age.
Aidan: Greenlee, please don't --
Greenlee: And the little boy?
Aidan: Don't do this to yourself, all right?
Greenlee: The boy that's next to her? He's probably just a little bit older.
Aidan: J.R. could still be jerking your chain.
Greenlee: How could J.R. possibly know the serial number that Greg Madden assigned to my embryos? How could Zach know the number unless he stole them and he's keeping them alive?
Aidan: Why would he do that, though? That's the question, Greenlee, and there isn't an answer that makes sense.
Greenlee: I don't know, I don't know. Maybe Zach wanted some insurance or -- or the upper hand. I mean, the Slaters and the Laverys -- they're one big, blended family. Well, what if that went wrong? What if there was some big, ugly blowout? Well, then Zach has this weapon to hang over Ryan and Annie's head. "Do what I want, or I'm going to give Greenlee her embryos, and she's going to have Ryan's child."
Aidan: Listen, Zach's goal was to ruin Kendall's surrogacy. He had no vested interest beyond that.
Greenlee: What? What is going on, Aidan? Why are you fighting so hard to keep me from believing that this is real?
Aidan: Listen, I want you to get what you're looking for, all right? The good news is I might have found it. The bad news is it was there to be found.
Erica: Tell me -- what did Greenlee say to open your eyes?
Jack: Erica, what Greenlee told me, she told me in confidence, and I would not violate that confidence any more than you would violate Kendall's confidence to me.
Erica: Even though I'm begging you? Out of fear for my child?
Jack: Sweetheart, please. Trust me.
Erica: Oh -- I want to, Jack.
Jack: Please. I beg of you, don't do this. Don't do this to us.
Erica: All right.
Erica: I love you.
Jack: I love you.
Erica: I just want you to be happy.
Jack: Thank you.
Erica: And I know you. I mean, I know that you can't be completely happy until your daughter Greenlee has some kind of sense about her life. I can make that happen, Jack. I mean, I -- I could make that all fall into place.
Annie: What would happen if I ordered pancakes?
Babe: We stopped serving breakfast an hour ago.
Annie: So you are talking to me, just on a limited basis.
Babe: Hard to know what to say.
Annie: Well, it seems like once you get started, the words will just begin to flow.
Babe: Did you get on a witness stand, swear on a Bible, and lie your brother into a prison term?
Annie: Richie did it again. What, are you two connected at the hip already?
Babe: You didn't answer my question.
Annie: This is how it all starts, Babe -- the big blue eyes, the whole "I love kids and animals" speech? Well, watch your back, your pets, and your son because Richie's not who he seems to be.
Babe: Seems like neither are you.
Annie: It's a long story. Do you really want to hear it?
Babe: You sent your own brother to prison? Must have had a really good reason.
Annie: You're right. But at this point, I don't think you'd even believe me.
Babe: Do you blame me? Annie, you faked your own murder. Richie totally bought that shooting that you and Ryan staged. You did stage it, didn't you?
Babe: All right. So was there any particular point to that stunt or -- or was it just for fun and games?
Annie: Don't get involved in this, Babe, for your own sake. Richie will just end up hurting you.
Babe: Do you not give a damn, or aren't you aware that your brother is really sick?
Ryan: You are not entitled to even "speak" my son's name -- my wife, my daughter, my son. I don't even want their names to cross your mind.
Richie: Hmm. This boy whose name I cannot speak -- if the fluid in his ears clears, the chance for a successful cochlear implant is 98%.
Ryan: What are you talking about?
Rich: Well, over here on this thing we call the Internet, and after cold calls and a lot of market research -- which, by the way, there is a sizable list of potential investors. Anyway, your son's surgeon -- he's number two in the country. Number one's on sabbatical in Kenya.
Ryan: So I'm supposed to be impressed?
Richie: Well, don't schedule the surgery for a Friday. Monday's just as bad. Tuesday is the best, followed by Wednesday, statistically --
Ryan: You know what, I don't know why you're not getting it. I -- I don't want you in my son's life.
Richie: Why don't I get you a printout? You know, there's a lot of research -- clinical research, actually -- and, yeah, here. Take a look for yourself. Or don't. Ignore it.
Ryan: What's your goal in all this? What's your point?
Ryan: Can't happen.
Richie: Winning the war on boredom, number one enemy in prison. I was good at numbers before I got locked up, but now I am seven years better. I have my sister to thank for that. Great debt I owe her, don't you think?
Adam: How's your network progressing?
Adam: Ah! Bravo. Well, celebrate, have crab cakes -- your favorite. Help yourself. Oh. Is -- no? Is there something wrong? Some glitch in the works, some damage that needs to be controlled?
J.R.: No, it's all smooth as silk.
Adam: Yes. When is the launch, anyway?
J.R.: Very soon.
Adam: Hmm. Before Christmas, though?
Adam: Yeah, before Christmas. Yeah. Um -- usually, a launch goes along with some publicity -- you know, the drumrolls and spotlights and things like that. I -- I've -- I haven't heard any drumrolls yet.
J.R.: It's all under control.
Adam: You can trust me to share the details of your enterprise with me.
J.R.: Hmm. Wouldn't want to jinx it.
Adam: Well, since you -- the primary backer is Zach Slater, I think it's already jinxed.
J.R.: Crab cake looks good.
J.R.: Your motivation is obvious.
Adam: What are Slater's motivations?
J.R.: Now, where would you get an idea that Slater is one of my backers?
Adam: Ha-ha. Slater is your only backer. Forget the denials. Any idea what Slater wants in return?
J.R.: All right, you got me. Yeah, FYI -- I know what he wants in return.
Adam: Aside from your immortal soul?
J.R.: This is a one-shot deal.
Adam: Yeah, which also involves Greenlee Smythe in some strange way. Greenlee, Slater -- let's see, who's missing? Oh, the prince of darkness -- hmm.
J.R.: Who do you have tailing me, Dad? And why?
Adam: Son, can't you believe? I'm your father. I'm worried about you. Slater hates your guts. He despises you, he despises our whole family. He's going to ruin this company for you, and maybe take your pancreas in the process. And Greenlee Smythe, that's -- ha. That woman is a disaster in four-inch heels. There's no way it's going to end well. It's going to end very badly.
J.R.: Well, thank you for the support.
Adam: Son, I understand that you want to make your mark on the world, you want to prove yourself. I -- I've been there, believe me. I know how it feels.
J.R.: So let me guess -- you want me to scratch my whole network idea, come back to work with you -- Chandler and son, yeah? Is that it?
Adam: No, that's not what I want. I want you to go on with your network. I want you to carve your name in bronze on the corporate map. But there's a simpler way to do it -- you partner up with me, we buy Slater out.
Erica: Giles St. Jacques. He's a legend -- cosmetics, perfume, and now couture.
Erica: He needs a CEO and not just anyone -- I mean, someone with a track record, some talent and panache.
Jack: Well, let me guess -- that CEO is Greenlee?
Erica: I could make that happen, Jack.
Jack: Erica, what makes you think that Greenlee has any desire to do that whatsoever?
Erica: The salary would be staggering. She would have creative leverage, she would have access to fashion people everywhere.
Jack: Everywhere, huh?
Erica: Yes. I mean, Greenlee is a talented woman in serious need of a life, and she could find that in Paris.
Jack: Sure -- out of the country, out of sight, out of mind.
Erica: Oh, she'd still be a partner in Fusion.
Jack: Sure, yeah -- of course, a very silent, very long-distance partner.
Erica: No tainted past to haunt her, no ex-husband with a brand-new wife, and no children who aren't hers, but she wishes they were.
Jack: And no family and no friends.
Erica: No regrets.
Jack: No. The answer's just plain no. You're not going to run my daughter out of town.
Greenlee: What are you trying to say?
Aidan: Hang on, wait. Just listen to me for a second, all right? What is bothering me is how I found this information on your embryos -- the names, the numbers --
Greenlee: I don't understand. I -- I asked you to hack into Zach's computer to see if the embryos still exist. You did and they do.
Aidan: And it was way too easy.
Greenlee: Aidan, you are a brilliant spy, you are, so just take a bow and admit you're good.
Aidan: Good enough to tell the difference between a gift and a find.
Greenlee: So -- what are you saying, that Zach wanted you to find out?
Aidan: Just maybe we're on a wild-goose chase that has been personally choreographed by Zach. We have to consider this as a possibility.
Greenlee: What are you doing here? You asked me to come over here, you show me what you found, and then -- what, you're saying Zach is just playing some game?
Aidan: Well, what do you want me to do, all right? I'm sorry, maybe I should have waited until I knew for sure.
Greenlee: What? What are you so worried about?
Aidan: I'm just -- I'm worried about you. I don't want you getting hurt.
Annie: You think it's news to me that my brother is sick? I have known that Richie was sick since he was 5 years old. I tried telling my parents, I tried telling teachers.
Babe: Richie is physically sick. Are you even listening to me? Do you -- do you hear me? Do you even care?
Annie: Ok, Babe. My brother is a brilliant liar. He always has been.
Babe: Maybe, but not this time, Annie.
Annie: What did he tell you he has exactly -- West Nile virus? Leprosy?
Babe: He didn't tell me anything. He doesn't even know that I know.
Annie: Well, I'm sure he just let you conveniently discover that he was sick.
Babe: You know what, you know what -- just forget it.
Annie: I'm sorry, Babe, but I have just been through this too many times with him.
Babe: Richie downed the last of a bottle of pills. Ok, he told me it was something, like, for some baseball injury.
Annie: Which he never had.
Babe: He had no idea that I was looking when he tossed the bottle of pills into the trash can and walked away. I went and I fished them out of the trash, and I called a doctor I trust. Do you want to know what Richie's being treated for?
Richie: This is November, which is prime time. No one really knows why, but surgeries always go smoother after the autumnal equinox. There's a lot of theories as to why.
Ryan: So I'm just supposed to stand here, listen to you, and believe that a of this crap is real?
Richie: Well, read the research. Or don't, but just because you haven't taken a shine to Uncle Richie, your son should suffer? I'm a numbers man. I mastered more in that cage than most people do at MIT.
Ryan: Wow. So, given 20 to 30 years in a five-by-nine cell, you could unravel the secrets of the universe. Well, trust me, Richie -- there is nothing that I would like better than to give you that time.
Erica: What does Greenlee have here but painful memories?
Jack: She has a father who loves her.
Erica: Of course, you do, Jack, but you're going to do that anyway no matter where she is -- London, Paris, Milan.
Jack: This is Greenlee's home, right here.
Erica: But she doesn't even know she has an option.
Jack: Erica, you trying to send her to Paris is just your way of trying to get rid of her.
Erica: Won't you just suggest to her that this Paris idea, this might be just exactly what she needs?
Jack: No! I won't, because what it is, is a way to make her disappear.
Erica: No, Jack, that's not it at all. I really see this as a win-win situation.
Jack: Bull, and I tell you something else -- I am not going to once again ask my daughter to leave town!
Erica: Well, you sure would if you didn't want to see her get hurt.
Jack: And what the hell is that supposed to mean?
Erica: You know what that means. That means unless your daughter leaves town -- and I mean soon -- your daughter and mine are going to rip each other apart.
J.R.: Slater is not my partner. The network is all mine.
Adam: Ah. So Slater's backing you out of the goodness of his heart? He's setting you up for a fall, boy.
J.R.: You're wrong.
Adam: Huh. What about this job that you're doing, this job? Is this -- is this something that you're proud of? Because Slater will hold it over your head for the rest of your life.
J.R.: You're overreacting. Slater's hate for us is gone. Take a look around -- he gave you your house back with no strings attached.
Adam: He didn't want this house. It doesn't mean a damn thing to him. He just held the deed for a -- to make a point.
J.R.: Yeah, and he could've made the point by burning it to the ground, but he didn't. So can we move on?
Adam: That's what I'm trying to do. I'm trying to move on, to a better place. This house -- it's a start. We've got that back. Colby -- Colby's been coming by a lot more often. You and I have -- have been at each other's throats. Well, now, fine, we -- we just had -- shared a meal together. And even Krystal -- Krystal feels the pull. We had a visit together the other night.
J.R.: A visit?
J.R.: Good for you, Dad.
Adam: Not long ago, our family was in shambles, and we're starting to pull together again. You don't need Slater's money. Let me back your network.
J.R.: I asked you to come in right at the start. But you laughed in my face.
Adam: Well, I -- I had reservations then.
J.R.: Oh, and suddenly you don't anymore?
Adam: Can't you possibly believe that I actually am worried about you?
J.R.: What I believe is your ego can't. You can't stand the thought of me making it without your help.
Adam: Yeah, fine. My ego is becoming very resilient. And I hope to God yours is, too, because it's going to take a bashing when Slater makes a stone fool of you.
Kendall: Ah, yes, you are right about Greenlee. I guess I just -- I don't want to face the fact that I am feeling her shadow on my back.
Zach: How so?
Kendall: I don't know. I just have this really queasy, uneasy feeling that I can't put into words. I'm just afraid that if I screw up once, it'll give her the chance to pounce.
Zach: Pounce how?
Kendall: I don't know. I didn't say it made any sense.
Zach: No, it makes a lot of sense after what she did. I promise you, she will never have power over you again.
Greenlee: I love that you want to protect me. But after all the investigating you've done, I -- I still believe my embryos exist.
Aidan: And if they do, they're in a cryo tank somewhere, either steps away or as far away as Mozambique. But I have had every single Cambias file that there is and there's no address.
Greenlee: We'll find them, Aidan, we will.
Aidan: Yeah, but not through Cambias, we won't. All right? I've scanned Zach's cyber network forwards and backwards. There's not even a hint of -- of a location.
Greenlee: So you're saying that he just wants to torture me? That Zach let you discover that they exist but -- but he won't let me know where? What kind of monster does that?
Aidan: Greenlee, I -- listen --
Greenlee: No, Aidan. Ryan, my marriage, my babies, my best friend in the whole entire world -- he can't get away with it, Aidan, he can't. I'm not going to let him! He's going to have to pay!
Aidan: Look, don't let Zach do this to you, all right?
Greenlee: No, I have to look him in the eyes, and I have to say, "I know what you did."
Aidan: And what do you think he's going to say, huh? He's going to deny it all. You know that.
Greenlee: Yeah, yeah. He'll say I'm insane, he'll lie to my face, but would he lie to Kendall's?
Greenlee: Kendall -- she's got to know.
Greenlee: I have to see you.
Kendall: Yeah. I'm -- I'm really sorry that we're late, but we're going to be there really soon.
Greenlee: "We"? You and Zach?
Kendall: Uh -- yeah. Spike's all bundled up, and we'll be on our way.
Greenlee: Is it just Spike or -- or Zach's there, too, isn't he?
Kendall: Yeah -- Spike and I are so excited. We cannot wait to see the group again. So we meet at the bench on the playground, right?
Greenlee: Yeah -- yes, the playground.
Kendall: Ok, well, we'll see you soon, and save the snacks until we get there.
Greenlee: Kendall? I have to tell you something, something that you are not going to want to --
Aidan: Hey, hey. Sorry. You do this, you're going to regret it. You'll regret it for the rest of your life.
Kendall: Ok, all right. When I get home tonight, uh, we will spend some time together. We will forget about Greenlee, forget about Fusion -- just you and me and Spike.
Zach: That is a brilliant idea, right?
Kendall: Yes, I think so. Yeah, ok.
Zach: Here we go. Let me help you.
Kendall: No, no, no, don't -- don't take that.
Zach: What's going on? What's in the bag, Kendall?
Kendall: It's just buckles and -- and bows and -- and sequins for that -- for the Halloween pageant. Ok, honestly, I -- I have -- I have a really cool costume for Spike and I don't want for you to see it -- right? I -- I don't want for you to peek, so don't peek.
Zach: All right. Easy on the sequins. I don't like them.
Kendall: Ok, well, we -- there will be no sequins, don't worry.
Zach: Thank you.
Kendall: Yes, um, you'll love it. Ok, so we will see you soon. Here we go. Say "bye-bye." All right. We are out of here. Come on, my love, let us go. We're going to have fun today. Hmm. Come on.
Greenlee: Zach lied and lied and lied and lied, not just to me, but to Kendall, too. It has to stop now.
Aidan: And how do you propose to do that? By opening your mouth and just announcing the truth? Because Zach will just say that and you're delusional. And why would Kendall disagree?
Greenlee: Because I have you now to back me up, and I have the serial numbers of the embryos.
Aidan: Which is on a piece of paper.
Greenlee: With your word.
Aidan: But Kendall's not going to take my word over Zach, right? He's going to make one phone call, and your embryos -- if they exist -- are just going to disappear. No, not to some undisclosed facility this time. This time they will just vanish, poof, into thin air. And what have you gained? The baby you always wanted, Kendall's trust? No.
Greenlee: Aidan, I have grieved for those embryos. And now they're -- they're out there somewhere. I can't grieve anymore. I can't wait anymore. You have to go and find them, please, right now.
Aidan: "Right now" is -- is not going to happen.
Greenlee: But you can do it, I know you can.
Aidan: Look, Greenlee, if -- if your embryos exist, all right, this could be a start of a worldwide search. I don't know where to begin.
Greenlee: You don't want to know where, do you? Because they're not just my embryos, are they? They're Ryan's, too.
Ryan: Just think what you'll be able to accomplish pondering in that cell for 20 to 30 years.
Richie: You are entirely overconfident. That little camera up there in your vent is not going to catch me so much as littering. A trip back to the prison -- not my plan.
Ryan: So what is your plan, Richie?
Richie: Wouldn't you like a hint?
Ryan: Oh, you've given me a hint with your medical research.
Richie: No, no, that was courtesy. That wasn't a strategic maneuver. When I make my move on you and Annie, you are both going to be blindsided, I guarantee it.
[Music plays at The Comeback]
Babe: If I had a brother that were as sick as Richie, I would definitely want to know.
Annie: If your brother were Richie, you'd never believe this.
Babe: This is his pill bottle, Annie.
Annie: This label could be fake.
Babe: God! What would it take to convince you -- for Richie to die?
Singer: You must believe her she's not telling lies ♪
Adam: You won't know what hit you when Slater is through with you.
J.R.: A few million dollars -- that's what.
Adam: A few million dollars for some mysterious service, which somehow involves Greenlee Smythe. What -- what? What, did you promise -- did you promise to kill the woman?
J.R.: The business plan is plain and simple. Nobody's going to be physically hurt.
Adam: Somebody's going to be mightily stung -- first, Greenlee, then you.
J.R.: It must be killing you to see me win.
Adam: What exactly have you won?
J.R.: Half of my seed money. I'll get the other half when the job is done.
Adam: "When the job is done," you'll be lucky to walk away with your boxers and a pair of socks.
J.R.: I am flattered and touched by your confidence. How disappointed will you be when I can prove that I can handle myself?
Adam: I -- I know that you can handle yourself in business, I have no doubt about your abilities. But a master manipulator like Slater? No, you're not ready to take him on.
J.R.: I was raised by a master manipulator.
Aidan: This isn't about Ryan, you, and your past, all right? It's about what's happening to you right now.
Greenlee: I don't believe that. It's why you're being so --
Aidan: So, what, cautious? You know what? Damn right, I am. We -- we might never find those embryos, or we might discover that they just don't exist.
Greenlee: The fact that they're Ryan's and mine, that doesn't -- doesn't bother you at all?
Aidan: I mean, maybe. Maybe I -- I don't know. But what I'm sure of, Greenlee, is I just -- I don't want to see you get hurt.
Greenlee: I can't stop now.
Aidan: Well, we won't. We'll carry on. But we do it the smart way. All right? We'll be careful. We'll be silent. We'll be cautious. No explosions, no confrontations. Agreed?
Greenlee: Yeah. Agreed.
Jack: You know, whatever animosity Kendall may have toward Greenlee, Greenlee wants nothing but the best for her.
Erica: I don't know how you can say that with a straight face.
Jack: I'll tell you how. Because I now feel that -- that I understand where Greenlee's coming from.
Erica: Since when -- 10 minutes ago? Jack, just tell Greenlee about the Paris job.
Jack: Nope, won't do it.
Erica: All right, your daughter is a powder keg ready to explode, and everybody gets it but you.
Ryan: You're an ex-con, Richie, and you just threatened me and my wife. Now, that's not very smart.
Richie: You misunderstood.
Ryan: Well, I have it on video. "When I make my move against you and my sister --"
Richie: Why couldn't that be a positive move, or a joke between close family? Oh, hey! It's a family meeting. Would you care for a sandwich?
Annie: When were you planning on telling me you're dying?
Erica: Adam, Adam -- I am being driven to really desperate measures. I have to do something really, really heinous, and you are the only person hateful enough I know to show me exactly how.
Kendall: Ok, here we go.
[Kendall positions the gun under a baby blanket then hears a rustling nearby]
Kendall: Greenlee, I thought that you would be here first.
>> On the next "All My Children" --
Erica (to Adam): I just need to have someone committed to a sanitarium against their will.
Babe: I do care, Richie. I can't help it.
J.R. (to Greenlee): I'm waiting.
