Kendall: Spike is really sleeping in.
Zach: I'm starting to think that maybe we should have joined him.
Kendall: Oh -- no, no. Maybe we should wake him up. Yeah, maybe we should because --
Kendall: Because I think we should give him his decongestant.
Zach: Maybe we should let him sleep -- give it to him later. He needs the rest.
Kendall: Yeah, I know, I know.
Zach: How about --
Kendall: How about later?
Kendall: I -- I -- I really just want to do what's best for him to -- to -- to do everything right to give him the chance to get his hearing back.
Zach: We are doing everything right.
Kendall: We both know that's not true.
Zach: Can you stop beating yourself up, please?
Kendall: Um -- it's not me that I've been beating up on lately. Ask Greenlee.
Zach: What does that mean?
Kendall: Mmm. Well, after we found out the news about Spike, I didn't go to the office like I told you.
Zach: Where did you go?
Kendall: I had Greenlee meet me at our old condo. I wanted to torture her. I wanted for her to suffer for what she did to our boys.
Zach: And how did that work?
Kendall: Not at all.
Greenlee: I'm pretty sure I got zero sleep last night.
Aidan: Well, I'm sorry about that.
Aidan: Oh, I love it when you call me names, abuse me.
Greenlee: Well, better not get me started, then.
Aidan: So sexy. Ok, well, then I'll just talk about Kendall, shall I?
Greenlee: Yeah. I told you, I don't want to talk about Kendall. I just -- I have 100 different things on my mind right now.
Aidan: Well, you're going to have plenty of time to sort that out. Hi there. I'm booked on a flight to Chicago this afternoon, and I'd like to purchase another seat for -- for a passenger.
Greenlee: Oh, wait, Aidan -- um, I can't.
Aidan: Hang on, I'll call you back. What's the problem?
Greenlee: It just -- it turns out it's not the best time for me to leave town.
Aidan: Greenlee, what is really going on?
Greenlee: I'm thinking of having a baby.
Tad: I'm telling you, there's something wrong. I can just feel it. In fact, she stayed out --
Julia: Tad --
Tad: All night without bothering to check on Jenny. That is just not like her.
Julia: Tad --
Tad: That is just not like her. Don't -- don't tell me to calm down, ok? Please? You can say anything but that. Tell me I'm wearing a hole through the floor -- I don't care -- yada, yada, yada. I'm just saying, she's never done anything like this before, so it's got to be big. It's got me a little freaked out. And it's not your fault, I'm sorry. I'm sure you're thrilled you came over, you know?
Julia: When you phoned the hospital, it sounded like you were about to jump out of your skin. But Krystal staying out at night doesn't necessarily mean anything horrible happened.
Tad: She hates being separated from Jenny. She hates it. What else can it be? No. No, no, way.
Tad: Nice try, but --
Julia: Ok, well, have --
Tad: Not on this planet.
Julia: Have you called everyone you know?
Julia: Including Adam Chandler?
Adam: Sustenance, my darling.
Krystal: Well, what -- what are you doing in my -- wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. What -- is this -- are we -- did -- did we --
Krystal: Oh, my God.
Krystal: And how did I let this happen? I must have lost my mind. Give me that sheet. Get -- get off it.
Adam: All right, all right, all right, all right.
Krystal: My poor baby -- she's home alone. She has no idea where her mother is.
Adam: No, you know she isn't alone.
Krystal: Please -- she was supposed to have breakfast an hour ago. She's probably starving, Adam.
Adam: Well, Tad Martin is incompetent in many ways, but I'm almost certain he wouldn't leave a little girl without any food.
Krystal: Oh, my God, talk about the walk of shame --
Adam: No, don't go, Krystal. Let me get Tad on the phone.
Adam: We can ask him about Jenny.
Krystal: Don't -- don't you dare call Tad. Don't you do that. I'll call him. I'll take care of it.
Adam: Well, I'm sure even he knows where you are by now.
Krystal: Are you kidding? Of all the places I might be, this is the last one Tad would ever think.
Adam: Oh, sweetheart --
Krystal: Oh, God.
Adam: No, why don't you sit down?
Adam: I don't like to see you so tense.
Krystal: No, no. And don't "sweetheart" me, and I don't want to sit, I want to leave.
Adam: Well, maybe if I reminded you how we got here in the first place.
Krystal: I know exactly how we got here, Adam. I was crazy. Or drunk. Or both.
Tad: Krystal sleep with Adam Chandler? Do you have any idea how just absolutely ludicrous that sounds? No, do you? Because Krystal and I have discussed this more than once, ok? She loathes the man. She despises him. There is no verb for how she feels about him.
Julia: Oh, ok, ok. Yeah.
Tad: No, do you -- he found her on the floor going into labor and he stepped over her, ok? He walked away --
Julia: Which is appalling, I --
Tad: No, it's inhuman. Not to mention the fact he wanted to put our child up for sale on the black market.
Julia: I --
Tad: No, listen to me, ok? After everything that son of a bitch has put us through, he's lucky he's alive, because if she wasn't going to do it, I would have killed him. As a matter of fact, there are times -- even today -- I can't remember why I didn't kill him.
Julia: Tad, listen to me, listen -- I totally agree with you, and if Krystal did sleep with Adam -- and that would be very hard to swallow, but she could have.
Tad: No -- didn't happen, sorry, uh-uh.
Julia: How can you be so sure?
Tad: Because. Look, we promised each other that we would not do anything to jeopardize our daughter, ok? We would do everything we possibly could within our power to respect the life we're trying to build here for her. Because we have a family. It might be untraditional. Who cares, ok? The fact is we share a child, we share a home, and that means something. It means a lot, to both of us.
Julia: Well, of course, it does. All I'm saying is that Krystal's a passionate woman. And a platonic roommate only goes so far.
J.R.: You're welcome.
Amanda: For what?
J.R.: You have to ask?
Amanda: Ok, well, the yacht club does serve a good breakfast, but if you expect me to bow at your feet for seafood quiche --
J.R.: I mean about last night. You have to admit, it was hot.
Amanda: Calm down there, big guy. It's not like you were doing it all by yourself. There were two of us in that bed.
J.R.: Yes. But only one of us was doing the screaming.
Amanda: Why are you in such a good mood?
J.R.: Because life is beautiful.
Amanda: Since when?
J.R.: Since I'm this close to getting what I want, and more.
Aidan: A baby? This is -- surprising. Ok, first -- first things first. We -- we get you a home pregnancy test, if you haven't already had one.
Greenlee: No, no.
Aidan: Now, let's go down to the pharmacy, it's easy.
Greenlee: No, Aidan, Aidan, I'm sorry, I'm not being clear. What I mean is the baby isn't yours.
Aidan: I feel so much better.
Greenlee: No, I was with J.R.
Aidan: You were with what?
Greenlee: I wasn't "with" J.R., I was -- I was talking to J.R., and he let me know that it's possible. Of course, we're talking about J.R., so it could be a complete -- this could be a complete lie -- I don't know.
Aidan: Um -- you need to back up a minute. So J.R. told you you could be pregnant?
Greenlee: Well, no, I still can't be pregnant. I mean, I can't carry a baby to full term, but he let me know that I could have a future baby out there, or babies -- plural.
Aidan: Huh. I'm completely lost.
Greenlee: Ok. Right, sorry. Um --
Greenlee: J.R. was digging into Cambias looking for dirt on Zach, and one of his inside guys found evidence that Zach purchased a cryogenic tank a week before the blackout. This tank is exactly the same as the one that Greg Madden used in his fertility clinic. Look. Here, this is the evidence that J.R. gave me. Invoices and receipts.
Aidan: So what reason would Zach have to purchase one of these tanks, Greenlee?
Greenlee: The only thing I can think of -- Zach -- he stole the embryos -- my fertilized embryos -- and he's been keeping them under lock and key ever since. I mean, they were never really destroyed.
Aidan: This is a pretty big leap, you know that?
Greenlee: But if what J.R. is saying is true, then there's a chance that one of those embryos could be implanted into a surrogate. I could still have the baby I've always dreamed about.
Aidan: And is that what you're hoping for? I mean, after everything you and Ryan have put each other through, you still want to have his baby?
Kendall: It was like the minute Joe said that Spike might not be able to get the implants, I thought of Greenlee. None of this would have happened if it weren't for her. And I wanted her to know that, and I wanted for her to -- to feel it every waking second. I wanted it to crush her.
Zach: And I understand that. But obsessing with Greenlee is not going to help our boys' situation, you know that.
Kendall: Yeah, I can't help it, Zach. I mean, Greenlee made our little boy deaf. She got away with it.
Zach: Ahem. What do you say we don't waste any more time on Greenlee, and we focus on getting our little boy better, so he can get his implant and he can hear?
Kendall: I am focused on that. But I can't just let Greenlee get away with what she's done. If what I did to her at the condo doesn't get to her, then I don't know what will.
Zach: What did you do to her?
Kendall: I -- I put Spike's battered car seat in front of her. I made her relive the entire crash. Every cry, every scream, every drop of my baby's blood. All of it.
Adam: You weren't drunk last night, and you know it. Crazy, maybe. But you've always been unusually limber.
Krystal: Ok, stop it. You just stop that right now. I did not plan on coming over. I came over here to bawl you out.
Adam: And I've forgiven you.
Krystal: I didn't ask you to, Adam. And as soon as I get over the shock of what happened, I'm sure I will come up with a lot of reasons to really let you have it.
Adam: Well, all right, if you want to. Don't -- don't be surprised if we end up here again.
Krystal: No. "No," no, no, never. Never, ever, ever again!
Adam: All right, you're feeling guilty and confused.
Adam: And you want to convince yourself that it was all a mistake. But, Krystal, what happened to us last night was amazing. It was wonderful. And right. We belong together. And luckily for us, we -- we're still legally married. The divorce isn't final.
Krystal: No, no, there isn't any luck to that, Adam. It is the source of every headache I have had since I left you. I am not going to move back in here, Adam. I am not happy that we had sex, and despite what some legal document might say, I do not consider you to be my husband.
Adam: Yeah? Now you tell me.
Krystal: No, it was a rare moment of weakness, nothing more.
Adam: Yeah. Well, you seemed very strong and determined at the time.
Krystal: Look, I was swept away, ok? Some very rare, rare good memories just -- just crept back in.
Adam: Not -- not so rare, Krystal.
Krystal: Whatever -- whatever it was, Adam, it's not going to change anything. It shouldn't have happened. It is not going to change the fact that I slept with Tad. It's not going to change the fact that you walked in when I was in the middle of labor, and then you just walked out on me. It's not going to change the fact that you tried to -- to give away my baby to strangers. Huh. No matter how great a time we had here last night, Adam, it can't bring us back to where we were, and I'm not sure anything ever could.
Adam: I don't blame you for being skeptical, Krystal. After all that's gone down between us, I'd think you would find it impossible ever to trust me again. But if you -- if you want me to say I'm sorry -- I am sorry, I am sorry, I am so sorry. I'm heartsick over what I did to you. And taking Jenny was despicable. The worst mistake of my life. And if I could, I'd take it all back. You know I would.
Krystal: I -- I believe you when you say you're sorry, Adam. And I accept your apology. But we've done too much to each other for that to be enough. We've carved out wounds that apologies couldn't even begin to heal.
Adam: There has -- has to be something --
Adam: Some way we can get past that.
Krystal: There isn't, ok? I promised Tad that I would keep Jenny away from you, and I meant it.
Adam: Huh, my God, woman. You're -- you sound like you're cheating on him. I'm your husband, remember?
Krystal: And Tad is Jenny's father.
Adam: You can't sacrifice your life, because of some hasty pledge you made to Martin. You belong to me.
Krystal: The only person I belong to is Jenny. I'm her mother. Every choice, every decision, everything I do is for her. And I can't take her away from her daddy.
Tad: Julia, this is a deep and personal shared experience. I know how she feels --
Julia: Tad, you knew that you and Krystal couldn't keep on playing house like this indefinitely.
Tad: We're not playing house. That's not what's going on here. We're raising our child together. We're dedicated to it. And if you ask me, it's pretty progressive, not to mention unselfish, because we're here, both of us, 100%, for Jenny's sake.
Julia: Well, the problem is that you are both two good-looking, intelligent, dynamic people who have no trouble meeting people of the opposite sex.
Tad: No -- whoa, whoa, whoa -- that's -- why is that a problem? Look, I've said it once, I'll say it 100 times -- if she wants to date, she can. I'm not going to stand in her way.
Julia: Unless the guy is Adam Chandler.
Tad: It's not Adam Chandler.
Julia: And you're sure you get a vote?
Tad: That, I do.
Julia: Oh, yeah, well, ok -- because of Jenny.
Tad: He tried to sell our child. Would you sleep with a man who tried to sell your child?
Julia: All I'm saying is you need to be prepared in case you're wrong.
Tad: I'm not, not about Adam. I'm -- I'm not. Look, and if -- if -- ok -- hypothetically, ok, even if you are right, and that's what happened last night -- she was out there getting some, she got lucky, you know, she -- she's got feelings for someone -- she falls in love with somebody -- I am -- I'm thrilled for her. I'll back her to the hill. I'll stand there naked screaming "We've only just begun" as they walk down the aisle.
Julia: Ok. Ok. And I'm sure that Krystal would be just as supportive of you if you found somebody new. What?
Julia: You don't think that could happen? How do you know? You could walk right out that door and fall head over heels in love with somebody.
Greenlee: Do I want one of these babies? It's been my dream for so long to be a mom. Kendall and I became closer than sisters because of that dream, and it almost killed me when I lost it. So, if it's even possible now that it could happen, it would be nothing short of miraculous.
Aidan: And the fact that it's Ryan's child?
Greenlee: I'm over Ryan, and Ryan has made it perfectly clear he wants nothing to do with me. Plus, I'm a little too conceited to stay a masochist forever.
Aidan: Well, you know what? Um -- raising Ryan's baby is not exactly going to sever ties between you two, Greenlee.
Greenlee: You're assuming I would tell him it's his kid.
Aidan: You wouldn't?
Greenlee: Those embryos were created because Ryan made an anonymous donation to a fertility clinic. He did that knowing he would have no say in the baby's life.
Aidan: Well, he's not exactly anonymous now, though, is he? All right? And you're not just some -- some random woman flipping through a donor list, are you? You used to be married to Ryan. All right? You work with his wife, and you live in the same town as he does. The fair thing to do, Greenlee, would be to tell him.
Greenlee: Maybe someday I would. You know, we don't even know if these embryos even exist. J.R. is not exactly the world's most trustworthy source.
Aidan: Yeah, well, you know what? I can see -- I could just see the look on your face that you want this to be true, don't you?
Greenlee: There could be a part of me out there somewhere. I just -- I need -- I need some support or advice. I need help.
Aidan: Ok, say if we find these embryos -- then what?
Greenlee: I'm not exactly sure.
Aidan: Well, you need to be. All right? You need to know exactly what you're facing, Greenlee, before you go down a blind path with J.R. Chandler as your guide.
J.R.: Once everything falls into place, we're going to be celebrating bigtime.
Amanda: How big?
J.R.: We're going to go to New York. We're going to paint that city every damn color they got. We'll do the launch from there. Our future looks bright, Amanda.
Amanda: Well, it's good to know I'm still part of it.
J.R.: Oh, is that any way for a vice president to talk?
Amanda: Vice president? Of what, fishing your socks from the bottom of the sheets?
J.R.: Will you get with the program here? Get with my vision. We're headed for fame and fortune and more fortune and more fortune. I've already got half the financing.
Amanda: What makes you think you can count on Zach Slater for the rest of it?
Zach: If you made Greenlee relive Spike's car accident, that means you had to suffer through it, too.
Kendall: I'm ok. I mean, when I can stop thinking of Greenlee more than a few seconds, anyway.
Zach: You got to be patient. I know being around her every day is not easy.
Kendall: No, I feel like I can't escape her, Zach. Even when I look at Spike, I think of Greenlee.
Zach: Won't be that way forever.
Kendall: You keep saying that.
Zach: Because it's true.
Kendall: No, you're saying it like you know something, like there's something that you're not telling me.
Zach: You're just going to have to trust me on that one.
Kendall: No, I do trust you. You've been hinting at something for a while now, and I want to know what it is. What are you up to, Zach?
Adam: I'm not suggesting we keep Martin from the baby completely.
Krystal: Oh, well, that is mighty big of you, Adam.
Adam: But surely, he doesn't have any say in how you conduct your private life.
Krystal: I didn't go home last night, Adam -- don't you get it? I left Tad high and dry with my daughter.
Adam: You mean his daughter.
Adam: Well, I'm sure they got along just fine.
Krystal: That's not the point. The point is I'm not that kind of mother. I'm not the kind of mother that will leave my baby overnight, especially when she's Jenny's age and especially without checking in.
Adam: So call him.
Krystal: I will. Trust me, I will just as soon as I get out of here, which won't be soon enough.
Adam: I'm sorry. Maybe I overstepped.
Krystal: You think?
Adam: Krystal, don't keep denying that there is something powerful between us. God knows I tried to deny it. I was so proud. And finally, I had to admit I couldn't ignore it anymore. And no matter how much you try, you can't ignore it, either. Can you?
Krystal: I -- I have to go.
Adam: Considering everything -- all of the evil things we've said, the things we've done to each other -- we still belong together. And no matter how we try to fight it, one day it's going to bring us back together again.
Krystal: Please move, please.
Adam: Krystal? Stuart always loves his visits with you. Do you think maybe he could come by for a visit?
Krystal: I learn a lot from Stuart's visits. Tell him he can -- he can come on by.
Julia: You don't think there's room in that heart for Jenny and someone else?
Tad: Let me explain something to you. My heart has been banged up so many times, I've lost count, all right? When I lost my sister, found out about Kate, lost Dixie -- every time I lost Dixie. Then my baby girl shows up -- like a little miracle. You know, just when I'd swear I'd given up on love for good, there she is. Here I am today, head over heels all over again.
Julia: Hmm. You don't think that could happen again? With somebody older and wiser, hopefully not related to you?
Tad: No, it won't, because me and my daughter -- we're going to be busy. We got stuff to take care of, you know, like walking and talking, school, boyfriends, you know, the prom, college. Nah. I'm afraid I'm going to be tied up.
Julia: You are so full of it!
Krystal: Hi. It -- it's me. Look, I'm sorry I didn't call sooner. Is Jenny ok?
Tad: Yeah. She's fine, she's great.
Krystal: Good. Good. Give her a kiss for me. I -- I'm on my way.
Kendall: Quit talking in circles, Zach. Come on. I mean, do you know something about Greenlee? Is -- is she leaving town or --
Zach: What do you think? You think she's going to run her plans by me? Probably not.
Kendall: Well, then what makes you so sure that -- that life will be easier now?
Zach: I don't know! Just I think she's -- she's addicted to attention, she wants to be the center of everybody's universe. And with us, that's no longer the case, so I'm banking on the fact that she's going to latch on to somebody else.
Kendall: That's all you're banking on?
Kendall: I'm sorry, but that's not enough. I mean, think about this. This is all so wrong, Zach. She made a little boy deaf, and she got away with it. And look at her now, she's -- she's co-running Fusion with me, she's got a new boyfriend. Even Ryan and Annie have somehow warmed up to her, and I have no idea how, but they have.
Zach: Sit -- shh. Look at me. What do you want? What would make you happy?
Kendall: I want for Greenlee to feel exactly the way I do right now for the rest of her life.
Zach: And how do you feel right now?
Kendall: Empty. Sad. Miserable, angry, helpless, I don't -- I mean, when I -- when I look at Spike, and I think of the fact that he may never hear another sound again, I want her to pay, Zach. I -- I want to rip away her dreams the same way that she ripped mine away. I hate her. I hate her so much, and I want for her to feel that.
Aidan: So did J.R. say what he wants in return for this information?
Greenlee: He said he'd let me know.
Aidan: I'd watch my back if I were you because I'm sure he's not telling you this out of the kindness of his so-called heart.
Greenlee: Huh. Believe me, I know that.
Aidan: In fact, there's a strong possibility that he's making this whole thing up.
Greenlee: Yeah, but -- why?
Aidan: I don't know, but you know what? I intend to find out. Until then, you have got to ask yourself a serious question. If what J.R. is telling you is true, if those embryos do exist, what then? Are you going to find a surrogate? Because I think we both know that Kendall's out of the question. And if you do find a surrogate, I mean, who's going to raise the baby -- or babies? Are you going to raise them by yourself? And what is Ryan going to say when he finds out that you've had one of his children? Because I tell you what, Greenlee -- he eventually will find out, and how do you think Kendall's going to react? And that's not even to mention, all right, Zach, Annie, Erica --
Greenlee: Ok, ok, ok. I thought you said "one" question.
Aidan: But I just want to make sure that you're thinking these things through.
Greenlee: I will, but do I have to do it all right now?
Aidan: Look, having Ryan's baby, I know, was a big dream of yours, all right, and you were gutted when it didn't happen. But a lot has changed since then and now, you know? You can't go into this expecting the same things as you did back then.
Greenlee: I know things are different. I'm -- I'm no longer married to Ryan, I -- I won't have Kendall by my side like I would have if I had stayed in Pine Valley. But I still want a baby, Aidan, just as much as I did before.
Aidan: And there are plenty of other ways to make that happen, all right? It doesn't have to be like this.
Greenlee: No, it doesn't, but, I mean, if those embryos are still viable, all of the possibilities -- how can I just walk away from that?
Aidan: Yeah, but how can you get your hopes up again?
Greenlee: Maybe people won't be as harsh as you think they will. Kendall and I -- we're getting closer every day. Maybe there's a chance that someday, down the road, I could be -- I could fit back into their lives again.
Aidan: And you think by having Ryan's child that, you know, it's a good way to make that happen?
Greenlee: Ok, you know what? I just -- I think we're getting a little bit way ahead of ourselves.
Aidan: Ok, you're right. Just answer me this, all right? Having Ryan's kid -- you think that's going to make things better for you in Pine Valley or make things worse?
Greenlee: I don't know. But if those embryos exist, they belong to me. I have a right to them. I want them back. I have to admit, talking to you about having another man's baby is a little weird.
Aidan: Well, I'll have to admit that going on a hunt for embryos of the woman that I'm sleeping with is definitely a first. Listen, I'll help you get the answers that you're looking for, all right? I won't let you down.
Amanda: No, I still don't get how you're supposed to get Greenlee to give up her Fusion stock.
J.R.: You don't have to get it. Just know that it's happening, and we're profiting from it.
Amanda: Show me the profits. I'll take a couple of hundred thou of what you owe me.
J.R.: Oh, sorry -- the investment capital is needed for the launch. But don't sweat it -- you're going to get your payoff soon enough.
Amanda: Ah -- "madam vice president." It's all falling into place now -- you're trying to offer me a title instead of my cash.
J.R.: No, you're going to be getting paid. And as an officer, you're going to get a percentage of the profits.
Amanda: Don't think you can BS your way out of giving me my cut, J.R.
J.R.: I know how much I owe you, Amanda, and I'm not just talking cash. You've stood by me through some pretty tough times and I'm never going to forget that. I wouldn't even be here if it weren't for you. I wouldn't want to be.
Amanda: Oh, that's really sweet -- and such a load of bull.
Amanda: Here's the thing, J.R. -- the sex is awesome, but you still owe me over $500,000. And no sex is that good.
Tad: She needs to be changed. I'll take care of it. Uh -- if you're hungry, there are some eggs on the stove. I'll be right back. Come on, you.
[Knock on door]
Adam: Oh, Stuart -- Stuart, just the man I wanted to see. Um -- are you planning to see Krystal today?
Stuart: I can't do this anymore, Adam. It's -- it's gone too far.
Adam: "Gone too far"?
Stuart: Yeah, I had to tell Marian. Please don't be mad.
Adam: What is this about? What -- what'd you tell her?
Stuart: Well, I -- I went -- I went to the -- to The Comeback a while ago and -- to see Krystal. And -- and she thought I was you.
Adam: She said that?
Stuart: Oh, yes, yes, and -- and because she thought I was you, she gave me a kiss.
Adam: She did?
Stuart: Yes. I mean, a -- I mean, a real kiss, too -- wow, a "wow" kind of kiss. And then -- and then she felt bad, because -- well, because she kissed me thinking that I was you and -- and really thought I was pretending to be you.
Adam: Ah. Oh, Stuart. Stuart? She does know. Fantastic! She knows that's it me pretending to be you.
Adam: Yes! Yes. I was right! She still loves me. Ah -- I'm going to get my wife back!
Krystal: Where's Jenny?
Tad: Uh -- she -- she went down for her nap.
Tad: Well, yeah. I mean, she got up earlier than usual. Ok. Here's the deal. If you decide you want to stay out all night, that's fine, that's cool. Just do me a favor, all right? Would you call me in the future? You don't have to give me any specifics -- I don't care. I just want to know that you're ok.
Krystal: You're right, I'm -- I'm sorry.
Tad: It's no joke. I was worried, ok?
Krystal: I know, I know.
Tad: So, breakfast? You feel like those eggs?
Krystal: Tad -- Tad, we need to talk.
Tad: No, seriously. You know, if you want, I can -- I can burn up some bacon with your toast.
Krystal: I need to tell you something.
Tad: I'm not sure I want to hear this.
Krystal: I -- I'm not sure you want to hear it, either, but I have to tell you.
Kendall: I gave him his decongestant "and" his antihistamine, and he was just -- he took it like a champ.
Zach: Yeah, he is a champ. Yeah.
Zach: Hmm. So is his mom. She knows better than to get involved with vengeance and payback with Greenlee.
Kendall: Yeah. I'm sorry about how I was acting. I'm just -- well, you know how I get. I was just being moody.
Zach: It's all right. Best way to deal with her is to just try to keep your distance. And the best revenge is for us to be happy again.
Kendall: You're right.
Zach: I know I'm right.
Kendall: Oh, you want to give him kisses?
Kendall: Oh, that was good! Come on, let's say -- all right. Let's say bye to Daddy. Ok. Whoa. Ok. I'm sorry I have to fib to your daddy, honey. But you know what? You know what? Being happy is not enough. I have to get justice for what she did to you, and I'm going to do just that.
Kendall: Yeah, you know it. You know it.
Aidan: I think it's a pretty big deal, you coming to me for my help rather than -- going off halfcocked on your own.
Greenlee: Yeah? Well, there's still time.
Aidan: Before you go banging heads, give me a chance to do some digging, will you? Find out whether J.R.'s claims are true? And if these embryos do exist, well, then I'll bring them back. But we have to find out if they exist first. Deal?
Greenlee: Yeah. Hey, has anyone ever told you you put the special in "Special Ops?"
Aidan: I'll take that as a yes, then.
Greenlee: Thank you so much. Hey, hey, hey.
Greenlee: Come back, Aidan. Come back and tell me that the car's all packed, and you're just waiting on me and the kids. And we're going to the beach for the weekend. And we're going to pick up Ryan and Annie and Emma. And Kendall and Zach and the boys are meeting us there. They rented a boat for the weekend, and we're going to spend the whole time on the water, just swimming and playing and having picnics and laughing -- one big, happy extended family. Come back, Aidan. Come back and tell me that.
>> On the next "All My Children" --
Babe (to Richie): You want payback. That's the real reason you tracked Annie down, isn't it?
Adam (to Hannah): We've come way too far for you to back out now. Suck it up and do what you're told.
Tad (to Krystal): Are you going back to Adam?
