[Siren sounds as Kendall is brought into Pine Valley Hospital]

EMT: 24-week gravida 2 para 1 with contractions 10 minutes apart lasting for one minute, no bleeding --

Kendall: No, it's too soon, it's too soon, it's too soon. I can't lose my baby. It's too soon.

Joe: We're ready in cubicle two.

Kendall: Ok. Now, where's Zach? Where's Zach?

Babe: He's on his way -- I promise you, he's on his way.

EMT: Ma'am, you need to step away now.

Kendall: No, no, no, no!

Babe: Ok, ok -- no, no. Ok, ok. Hey, hey, hey, the doctors are going to take great care of you, I promise.

Kendall: Hey, Joe -- Joe, please help my baby.

Joe: We're going to bring you in for an exam, ok? Please try and stay calm.

Kendall: Ok.

Babe: I am going to be right out here, ok?

Zach: Where's my wife?

Kendall: Oh, please, please, please, Joe -- just tell me that I'm not in labor, ok? I can't be right now. It's too soon.

Joe: You try and relax.

Kendall: Ok.

Joe: How's her BP?

Nurse: 108/60.

Joe: Well, that's good.

Kendall: Ok.

Doctor: She's 2 centimeters dilated, 10% effaced.

Kendall: What -- what does that mean? What's happening?

Joe: Well, it appears that you're in early labor --

Zach: Hey.

Kendall: Zach, Zach. I'm so sorry, Zach. I'm losing our baby.

Zach: You and that baby are going to be just fine. Ok?

Joe: Membranes intact?

Doctor: There's no evidence of fluid, but I'll check for ferning.

Joe: Ok. Ok. Looks like your water has not broken. Now, what that means is that we still have a chance to stop labor. It also means that you did all the right things for your baby, and we are now going to do the same. Magnesium sulfate. Four grams IV over the next 20 minutes. Two grams per hour thereafter. Check her vitals every 15 minutes.

Zach: What -- what are you giving her?

Joe: That's a drug to stop premature contractions. Now, you may experience, you know, some headaches and/or discomfort, but believe me, it's going to give the baby the best possible chance.

Kendall: Ok, well, then let's -- let's do it now.

Joe: Ok. Also, I'm going to put you on an antibiotic, just as a precaution. While we're waiting for the urine and the culture, start her on ampicillin, all right? And one more thing. To increase the circulation to the baby, I would like it if you would lie on your left side, ok?

Kendall: Ok.

Joe: And then we're going to run some more tests.

Kendall: Ok.

Joe: All right, everybody, let's give them some room now.

Kendall: Ok -- well --

Zach: I'm not going anywhere. Joe?

Joe: Yeah?

Zach: What was the doctor's name that helped with Spike? Dr. Mayer or something? Where is he?

Joe: Yeah, Dr. Mayer -- he's on a sabbatical teaching -- a sabbatical in Europe.

Zach: So who is the top guy here? Who is the specialist? I mean, anybody. We'll fly him in. I'll pay for everything. It doesn't matter what it costs.

Joe: Well, the top man is Delano -- Dr. Robert Delano. He's based in Houston. But I'll call him myself.

Zach: Thank you. What if this drug doesn't work? What if her water breaks?

Joe: Then the baby's coming, no matter what.

Zach: Can it survive?

Joe: 24 weeks? You know that answer better than anybody. But miracles happen.

Babe: I can't reach Erica, and I can't reach Jack. Goes straight to voicemail every time. Kendall cannot lose this baby.

Ryan: Whoa, whoa. We've been through this before with Spike, remember? And everything turned out ok.

Babe: Where is Spike?

Krystal: You want to rewind that and play it back for me real slow?

J.R.: I quit Chandler Enterprises. I'm done, I'm out. I gave my father all the shares. What? You didn't think I could cut the cord?

Krystal: Huh. Who are you going to strangle with it?

J.R.: I'm the one who's been smothered. But now I can breathe.

Krystal: Yeah? And what exactly have you been --

[Krystal inhales]

Krystal: Breathing?

J.R.: I'm not drunk or high, I'm free. This is not another revenge kick. This is about -- this is about me doing something for my life. It's about -- it's about me, it's about my father, it's about my son.

Krystal: Listen, J.R., I have heard you talk the talk, but are you going to walk the walk?

J.R.: I left the house.

Krystal: Well, what did your daddy say about that?

J.R.: Don't let the you know what hit you in the butt.

Krystal: So Colby's moved out, you've moved out, and Adam is all alone?

J.R.: Well, don't worry about him. Between Mr. Pride and Mr. Ego, I think he's got plenty of company.

Krystal: I -- I'm not worried. So now that you've turned in the key to the mansion, where are you going to be sleeping tonight?

Amanda: I am dying of thirst out here. Where is my drink?

Man: Now you want to see me? Last time, you wouldn't stop screaming for me to get away from me, and your husband -- well, he was ready to pounce on me for hitting on you.

Ava: That wasn't me, that was my sister.

Man: Right. Yeah, I have a twin, too.

Ava: Lily and I used to look a lot alike, but now we don't. No one will ever confuse us again.

Man: Well, your sister was a little uptight. But I like you a lot better.

Ava: Yeah, well, I'm glad I hung on to your number.

Man: Well, I'm glad you called. Because see, I don't like it when people who owe me disappear. See, interest keeps going up, and I keep not getting paid.

Ava: Yeah -- um -- about that --

Man: Yeah, you're a little short on cash? That's cool. I, uh -- take other kinds of payment.

[Jonathan watches from the shadows]

Babe: Greenlee's still not picking up her cell.

Ryan: Is there any chance that her cell is turned off?

Babe: No, Greenlee and Kendall, they were on speaker phone half the trip. I mean -- how about Annie? Did -- did she say anything? Maybe she talked to her?

Ryan: She and Di are driving back from New York. They haven't heard from Greenlee, either. Tell -- tell me exactly -- exactly what happened.

Babe: Kendall and Spike and I were in one car, and Greenlee was following behind us. And then Kendall -- she had that pain.

Ryan: A contraction?

Babe: Yes, but we didn't know what it was, and she didn't want to upset Spike, so we just -- we switched cars for the ride to the -- to the hospital.

Ryan: So Greenlee took Spike in Kendall's car?

Babe: Yes, and Kendall insisted because she -- because I'd been through labor, and she didn't want to upset Spike by moving the car seat and all of that stuff. I mean, I thought that Greenlee and Spike were right behind us. They -- they should be here by now. Greenlee and Spike should be here.

Ryan: They'll be here. They'll be all right.

[Spike cries]

Greenlee: It's ok, Spikey. It's fine. I made things right. You're -- you're finally with the mother you're supposed to be with. And we're just going to go on a little trip, ok? And it's going to be really, really fun.

[Spike cries]

Greenlee: Spike, it's ok. We're fine, Spike.

Joe: Your baby's heartbeat is strong. How's Mom doing?

Kendall: Better, now that you've put the IV in.

Joe: Now I'd like to do a sonogram. I want to check on the -- the size and the position of the fetus.

Doctor: I'll get set up.

Joe: Ok. So far, everything looks good.

Zach: You hear that? Everything looks good.

Ryan: Did you get the make, model, and the color of Kendall's car? The license plate number? Because I got it. I can give it to you again.

Derek: Got it. I got it.

Ryan: Babe and I have been calling Greenlee nonstop and nobody is picking up, and I'm afraid something is wrong, Derek. I'm afraid Spike is hurt.

Derek: Now, let's not jump right to the worst. Maybe they were having engine trouble. Could be waiting for a tow truck, or Greenlee could've stopped to get some food, feed Spike, and lost track of time.

Ryan: Derek, Greenlee knew Kendall was coming to the ER. She would have called us. I'm telling you, something is wrong. I'm afraid that -- I'm afraid they've had an accident.

Derek: Ok. I'll send a car to retrace their route, and I'll call Jersey State Police and tell them to do the same on their side.

Ryan: Thank you. Please -- please call as soon as you hear anything. Babe, do me a favor -- call Annie. Tell her that I took the bike out to help Derek with the search, ok?

Babe: No -- when Spike gets here, he's going to want his dad.

Jamie: I heard they just brought Kendall in. How is she?

Babe: There's no word yet. She's -- she's in with Joe and Zach.

Jamie: Well, Kendall and her baby couldn't be in better hands than my grandfather's.

Babe: Right now, I'm more worried about what happened to Greenlee and Spike.

Krystal: So, you're joining the Wildwind gang?

J.R.: For one night, at least.

Amanda: After that, who knows?

Krystal: Honey, why don't you grab yourself some peanuts and make yourself at home, ok? Come here. Do you have any idea what you're getting yourself into?

J.R.: With Amanda? That's a personal question coming from my ex-mother-in-law.

Krystal: I am just saying that woman has some issues.

J.R.: Don't worry about Amanda. She's -- she's a good girl. She's a lot of fun.

Krystal: Mm-hmm. So her issues play well with your issues?

J.R.: Works for us.

Krystal: Ok. I -- I won't say another word. I just think you two are playing leapfrog with a unicorn.

J.R.: Ooh.

Krystal: Hey -- hey, guys, what'll it be?

Del: Well, I just schooled Mr. Devane here on the basketball court, so --

Aidan: Oh, come on.

[Krystal laughs]

Del: He's buying --

Krystal: Ah.

Del: All night.

Aidan: Yeah, a beer for me, please, and put on a smoothie for Mr. Universe here.

[Krystal chuckles]

Del: You know what? My drink can wait. I see a woman in need. You're holding the stick all wrong, darling. Learn from the master.

Amanda: You touch me, and you leave in a body bag.

Del: Oh, jeez. I'm going to grab a beer. Do you want one?

Amanda: No. No drinks, and no more bringing me surprise cups of coffee in the morning.

Del: Oh, poor baby. She gets room service.

Amanda: I get you trying to hit on me while I'm naked in bed. You -- you know, if the urge to make a special delivery hits you tomorrow, why don't you bring two cups? J.R. might be naked in bed next to me.

J.R.: Two cups.

Jonathan: What's going on? Hi.

Ava: Oh.

Man: Not him again.

Ava: What are you doing here?

Jonathan: Please?

Ava: No.

Jonathan: I've been looking for you -- we need to talk about this right now.

Ava: What's your problem? Can't you see I'm in the middle of something?

Jonathan: This guy is bad news.

Ava: Oh, what, are you my dad now?

Jonathan: What are you doing here with him?

Ava: I have been in the dark with guys a lot, ok? I'm not Lily, don't you remember? So go off and save somebody else.

Jonathan: Ok, I will -- right after you tell me what you're doing here.

Ava: Oh, you want to know what I'm doing?

Jonathan: I do.

Ava: All right, I'll show you. This.

[Ava approaches the drug dealer and kisses him]

Ava: What's the matter, Jonny boy, you want to watch?

Jonathan: Come here. You don't have to do this. You don't have to put on an act.

Ava: What, what? This is not an act. This is not an act, dude. This is me in the dark with strange guys, doing strange things. It's who I've been for a long time, and it's who I'm going to be after I leave this stupid town.

Jonathan: Ok, good. Ava, just stop it!

Ava: No, you stop! Stop trying to make me into your fantasy girl, ok? I am so tired of it. No matter what color my hair is, or what I'm wearing, what my makeup looks like, or what you see when you close your eyes and kiss me, I am always going to be me, Ava!

Jonathan: Would you please just come back to Wildwind with me?

Ava: Oh, my -- you wish.

Jonathan: Would you please come back to Wildwind with me to talk?

Ava: No!

Jonathan: Just talk to me?

Ava: Just go away!

Man: The lady asked you to leave, man.

Jonathan: And if I don't?

Ava: I don't need you to protect me.

Man: Just take a hint, bro, huh? Three is a crowd.

Jonathan: I'm sorry, bro. Is my presence here bad for business?

Man: I don't know what you're talking about.

Jonathan: You know that the drugs he sells will kill you?

Man: Look, whatever your problem is --

Jonathan: You know what my problem is? Scum like you pushing junk on people that I care about.

Man: She doesn't give a damn about you.

Jonathan: If I ever see you near her again --

Man: Oh, you're a tough guy, huh? No, you let go of me. Hey!

Jonathan: You listen to me real well. You stay away from her.

Del: He is not moving in with us.

Amanda: J.R. is staying a night or two as my guest at Wildwind.

J.R.: Look, I moved out of my dad's place. Amanda was nice enough to let me crash there until I find a place of my own, ok?

Aidan: Don't you remember our conversation at the Yacht Club?

Krystal: Don't bother, sugar. These two are on soul search. They want to breathe.

Del: J.R., Wildwind is not like some party house, bro. There's work.

J.R.: Work? What kind of work?

Del: I don't know -- making beds, taking out the trash. I mean, seriously, you're not going to like it. You're not going to have a good time there.

Aidan: We don't have a staff of thousands like you do at the Chandler Mansion.

Del: Yeah, we -- we go grocery shopping, you know? We do laundry.

Aidan: I mean, to places called "supermarkets."

Del: You think Richie Rich here has ever stood on line in a checkout aisle?

J.R.: I lived on a tramp steamer for a year. As long as your place doesn't smell like fish, or sailors who can't remember the last time they took a shower, don't you talk to me about roughing it.

Aidan: If you lived through that, handcuffed to a steam pipe, then give me a call.

Del: Hey, you ever play?

J.R.: Yeah, I've shot a few.

Amanda: Del thinks he's a pool shark. More like an octopus.

Del: Well, you know, now that you're Amanda's houseguest at Wildwind, and her new boy toy, I thought we'd play a round with a little household wager attached.

Amanda: Forget it. No. He has been trying to make this happen since he moved back in.

J.R.: Yeah? What's the bet?

Del: You and Amanda win, I do her chores for a month.

Aidan: If we lose -- sorry, Del, but all those chores are on you.

J.R.: Ok, well, if you win, what do you get?

Del: Amanda's bed.

Ryan: You checked all the roads between where they traded cars and the hospital?

Derek: Every inch. No accidents, no breakdowns, no sightings of Greenlee driving Kendall's car.

Ryan: How do I issue an Amber Alert?

Babe: God, what was I thinking, letting Greenlee drive Spike?

Jamie: You were thinking about getting Kendall to the hospital.

Babe: No, you don't -- you are not getting this. When -- when Greenlee found out that Spike was coming with us to New York, she -- she said that he would be a distraction. She didn't want him to go, and I could sense that something was off, and when I asked her why she was so tense -- look, Greenlee once told me that holding Spike felt too good.

Jamie: You think she took Spike?

Babe: I don't know. I think that she didn't want to be alone with him, because she was afraid of what she might do.

Jamie: It was Kendall's call, and you were just trying to help.

Babe: Yeah, but here's Kendall, she's in pain, she was -- she was scared. It was my job to think straight for both of us. Greenlee is so convinced with her whole heart that that little boy s supposed to be her child. She could so easily take him and run. And we both know how she could justify it.

Jamie: The cops will find them. Maybe I can find out how Kendall is doing, all right? I'll be right back.

Josh: Babe, how's Kendall?

Babe: She's still in there. The baby -- we don't know.

Josh: Thanks for calling me.

Babe: Did you get ahold of Erica?

Josh: No, I -- I tried all her numbers, went by her office, Jack's place -- those two have vanished. Babe, what's wrong?

Babe: Greenlee is missing, and Spike is with her. Kendall is in there fighting for her baby's life, and she doesn't even know her other baby's gone.

Kendall: How's the baby?

Doctor: Just give me a sec.

Nurse: Is the IV ok? Any discomfort?

Kendall: No, it seems to be fine. I haven't had any more labor pains.

Doctor: Here we go. There's the heart, see? Heartbeat is steady.

Zach: Hmm.

Doctor: The baby's moving around. I bet this one's a kicker. Here's a foot. And the spine. Size is consistent with 24 weeks. Position is transverse.

Zach: What does that mean?

Joe: The baby is lying across Kendall's belly, instead of the normal head-down position.

Doctor: But that can change. Now I'm looking for the amniotic fluid. Right where it should be. He's doing just fine.

Kendall: "He"?

Doctor: I'm sorry, I thought you knew.

Zach: It's a boy.

Kendall: Our son. Zachary Ethan. Hmm.

Zach: No. Not Ethan, Zach or Junior. He's going to have his own name. No imprint of the past. Free to be whatever he wants to be. All he needs from us is love -- his long, wonderful life.

Kendall: Agh!

Doctor: Ok, ok, breathe, breathe. Breathe out.

Kendall: Agh.

Doctor: You got it?

Kendall: Oh --

[Spike cries]

Greenlee: It's ok, Spike. It's ok. Please, just stop crying. It's going to be fine. We're going to have an amazing life together. It's going to be great. Stop crying, Spike. Just stop crying, please. Please. Oh, God, this is so wrong! What am I doing? I'm sorry, Spike, you want Kendall, not me. This is wrong. This was a mistake. I'm so sorry. I'm going to take you back to her. I'm going to take you back to her right now. I'm going to take you to Kendall. I'm just going to get my phone. I'm just going to find it, and we're going to turn around.

[Tires screech]

[Greenlee screams as the car plunges off a cliff]

Zach: I thought you said this drug would take away the pain. Joe, come on.

Joe: Magnesium sulfate takes time to work.

Kendall: Well, isn't this proof that it's not working at all?

Joe: When you came in, your contractions were ten minutes apart. They've slowed considerably. That's a good indication the drug is taking effect.

Kendall: I'm not due for almost four months. I'm in labor right now. How is that -- how is that good?

Joe: The contractions may stop altogether, but we have to be patient, wait and see, ok?

Zach: Relax, ok?

[Zach sighs]

Zach: This kid is a fighter, just like his mom and his big brother. And just like his big brother, he -- he's not going to come into this world until he's ready. I won't let him. Won't be any different, ok? Ah -- it'll be a little different. Hey, you didn't get to see Spike when he was born. But now, there'll be a lot of firsts for you -- first cry, first breath, first time you hold that fat baby boy in your hands. I think I know what's going on here. I talked you up too much. Yep. Every night, I talked to your belly and tell him what a beautiful, incredible, wonderful mother you are. And now, he wants to go see for himself. He doesn't want to be in there, he wants to be out here where the action is. And you will be. We want you here. Just hang on a little longer, all right? He wants to be in your arms. You can't really blame him -- it's the most wonderful place in the world. He'll be there -- be there when he's ready. And until then, you better hold on to me. Come on.

Kendall: Oh.

Babe: The more time that goes by, the more that it looks like Greenlee -- you know, I'm not going to even say it. I don't even want to think it.

Josh: Look, I've been hanging out with Greenlee lately. She loves drama, but I definitely didn't get the sense that she would steal a baby. I'm sure there's another explanation.

Babe: Yeah, not a good one. What's the word on Kendall?

Jamie: The baby's ok, but her contractions haven't stopped.

Babe: So what does that mean? Is the baby coming?

Jamie: Let's hope not. If it does, its chances aren't good.

Babe: I'm sorry. It's just if anything happens to the baby --

Jamie: The drug they gave Kendall has an excellent chance of stopping labor. They'll give her another one to speed up the development of the baby's lungs and other organs.

Babe: Ok. I'm just -- I'm -- I'm trying to stay positive, I am. It's just that it's all too much all at once.

Jamie: Hey, hey. We'll get through it. Now, what's the word on Greenlee? All right, look, I got to get back to work, but my pager's on if you need me. If I hear anything, you'll be the first to know.

Babe: Thank you, Jamie.

Josh: Babe, is there anything I can do to help?

Babe: Find Erica.

Josh: I'll keep trying.

Babe: Well, no matter what happens, Kendall's not going to be getting out of here for a while. And when she finds out that Spike -- just find Erica.

Ryan: I'm waiting on an answer here, Derek. All right, can you make it happen or not? You just call me back as soon as you know.

Babe: Is there any news?

Ryan: I asked Derek to issue an Amber Alert and in the time that it's taken him, I could've walked every road in the state myself. I mean --

Babe: Ok, but maybe we're overreacting or something. Maybe it's -- I don't know. Maybe she's -- has a flat tire or -- or she's -- I don't know, she's out of cell phone range? I mean, maybe her phone battery died.

Ryan: Or maybe she stole my son, and she's running as far and as fast as she can.

Amanda: You think a winning round of pool will land you in my bed?

Del: Not your bed -- your bedroom.

Aidan: Hey, whoa. Well, why'd you want to be in Amanda's bedroom, anyway? I mean --

Del: Her bathroom's got a hot tub. I want that tub.

J.R.: I don't know. The things you can do with those jets.

Amanda: Don't I know it. That is why I have made it very clear to Del no way I'm giving it up.

Del: Chickens.

J.R.: All right, you do Amanda's chores for three months, you got yourself a bet.

Amanda: Hey --

Del: Do you want to break or should I?

Aidan: If I'm playing, all right, and we lose, all those extra chores are on you. You're the one that's scrubbing those toilets.

Del: We're not going to lose.

Amanda: I spend half my life in that tub. You sure you know what you're doing with that stick?

J.R.: Trust me.

Amanda: Oh, well, you've never asked me to do that before. Now I'm not worried at all. Don't blow this, Chandler.

Ava: Hey, you still here?

Man: Yeah. Your bodyguard -- he took off.

Ava: Sorry about him -- he's got major problems.

Man: Well, that kiss that you gave me made it all worthwhile. In fact, it took care of the interest that you owe me. How about you start paying off the principal, huh?

Ava: Right, well, here you go, plus an extra hundred.

Man: What for?

Ava: For more. I want more of what you gave me before.

Man: Hmm.

Joe: Well, your blood pressure's fine, so is your baby's heart rate. That last contraction doesn't seem to have had any negative impact.

Kendall: Oh, good. Ok, so then that's it? Does that mean that they're over?

Joe: Well, hopefully you won't have any more birth pains until the baby is full-term. Now, we're going to keep a close eye on everything. All you need to do is get your rest, ok?

Kendall: Mm-hmm.

Zach: Thanks, Joe.

Ryan: The longer that we wait, the further they get, Derek.

Derek: Well, you can't just push a button to issue an Amber Alert. You have to follow procedure. The activation criteria have to be met.

Ryan: Well, hold on a second. My son is missing here and you're giving me a bun of bureaucratic bull?

Derek: Until we know the child is in immediate danger, we --

Ryan: Spike has been in danger since Greenlee got back in town, Derek. What do you want me to say? I mean, the woman crashed my wedding, she had me arrested. She -- she tried to sue for custody of Spike, and now none of that's worked, so she's taken it to the next level.

Derek: Ryan, we don't know that yet.

Ryan: The woman is obsessed, Derek -- obsessed with me and my son. She will do anything, she will go anywhere. Please help me. Please -- please help my son.

Derek: All right. I'll file a missing persons report and have both states issue an alert.

Ryan: Thank you.

Babe: I couldn't help but overhearing.

Ryan: It's something but it's not enough. I'm going to try Jack again.

Zach: Hey. What's going on? Why don't you go sit with Kendall for a moment? I need to talk to Ryan. Where is Spike?

Ryan: Greenlee's got him.

Zach: Where is he?

Ryan: No one knows.

Amanda: Not too hard --

J.R.: Yeah.

Amanda: Not too soft.

J.R.: You just got to hit it just so.

Del: Ah, shut up and play.

Amanda: Whoo! Ho-ho-ho-ho!

Del: Ah --

Aidan: That's trouble?

Del: I think I need another drink.

Krystal: Yeah, double trouble. More just walked in the door.

Amanda: Oh. Hey, I'll be right back. Jonathan, hey. You ok? You want to talk some more?

Jonathan: No, I don't.

Amanda: Did you find Ava? Jonathan, talk to me. What happened --

Jonathan: Amanda, I told you that I don't want to talk right now. Thank you.

[Ava sits alone at the boathouse crying with a packet of pills in her hands, then pops one in her mouth and lies down]

Ryan: The cops checked the roads, but there's no sign of them anywhere. Derek issued an -- an Amber Alert.

Zach: I'll get my men out there to help. Ryan? No one tells Kendall, not yet.

Ryan: Come on, Greenlee, pick up. Pick up the phone.

[Phone rings]

Zach: Yeah, that's exactly right. Check every hotel, motel, every restaurant, every diner in a 200-mile radius. If you come up empty, make it 300.

Ryan: Aidan? Hey, it's Ryan. Listen -- something's happened.

J.R.: Why don't you watch the way you talk to her?

Jonathan: Or what, Junior?

J.R.: Why don't you come on and find out?

Amanda: Jonathan has been going through a rough time lately.

J.R.: Hey, a little FYI -- Amanda and I have gotten a lot tighter, so no one -- especially you -- talks to her that way.

Jonathan: Is that right?

J.R.: Yeah, why don't you try me?

Amanda: It's ok, it's ok.

Krystal: Hold it. If you guys are going to rumble, I want you to take it someplace else.

Aidan: That was Ryan on the phone. He was looking for you, Jonny. Kendall's gone into early labor. She's in the hospital, and Greenlee's run off with Spike.

Babe: So the doctors say so far, so good?

Kendall: Yeah. Oh, please cross your fingers for no more contractions.

Babe: Those things will get your attention, won't they?

Kendall: Yeah. So, it's a boy.

[Kendall giggles]

Babe: That is wonderful -- hmm. Little A will have a new playmate.

Kendall: Mm-hmm. And Spike will have a -- a new baby brother. Where is Spike?

Babe: Spike's fine, Kendall. Spike's just fine.

Kendall: Hmm.

[At the bottom of a lonely dark ravine, Greenlee hangs upside down unconscious and bleeding in the wrecked car]

>> On the next "All My Children" --

Jonathan (to Ryan): We're all going to help you find Spike.

Kendall (to Zach): Spike! Greenlee, she took him. She took him, Zach. She took my baby, Zach! Please find -- oh! Oh!

Greenlee: Oh, God. Oh, God, no.
