Pam: Ok, I think this is it -- 219. Well, let's find out. Erica, the nurse said we shouldn't tire you out.
Val: Yeah, as if you were hit by a truck instead of a waiter.
Pam: Don't you just have a sprained ankle or something?
Erica: Oh, you know how it is. You see a doctor for one thing, they run some tests --
Val: Oh, dear God.
Pam: They found something else?
Erica: Well, let's not talk about it till they're sure.
Pam: Does Jack know? Should I call him?
Erica: No, no, I don't want him to see me like this.
Pam: We brought you things.
Dave: Where do you want me?
Pam: Get out of here, Dave.
Dave: But you said "meet you --"
Pam: Miss Kane is here for treatment. This isn't a bit for our show.
Val: Yeah, go away. And for God's sake, don't say a word about this to anyone.
Dave: Ok, ok.
Jack: Oh, Livia, you scared the hell out of me. Why -- why are you here? Do we have a meeting? We didn't have a meeting. No, we didn't have -- I'm sorry. With Sean's drug bust and Erica's divorce games, I don't know if I'm coming or going.
Livia: Have you checked your calendar lately?
Jack: What did I miss?
Livia: Your divorce is about to be finalized.
Jack: Yeah, I know that.
Livia: Then why don't you get off of your high horse and do something to win Erica's divorce games? Oh, you want to be miserable for the rest of your life?
Kendall: Ah, what an amazing day! I feel energized, don't you? I feel like good things are in the air, good things are going to happen. Oh, what happened? Something's wrong. Oh, the vacation, the family honeymoon didn't go well, and you couldn't tell me when you dropped off Spike with Ryan.
Annie: No, no, no, the honeymoon was amazing.
Kendall: But not "amazing" good?
Annie: Ryan and I had a wonderful time. But then I get here, and Greenlee just came this close to firing me.
Greenlee: The beach, now the yacht club? Are you following me?
Ryan: Are you sure it's not the other way around?
Greenlee: I didn't know you'd be here.
Ryan: I was just joking.
Greenlee: Oh. Well, I guess we should get used to this. I mean, we like the same things, we'll probably end up in lots of the same places. It's your destiny, Ryan Lavery. You can fight it, but you can't change it. You're stuck with me.
Del: Hey, Queen of Fiji. Slumming it with the little people again?
Amanda: Did you miss me?
Del: Where did you go, exactly? Who goes to Fiji and comes back without a tan?
Amanda: People who believe in sunblock -- SPF 45.
Del: Well, I guess you beat the post cards back. You sent us some, right?
Amanda: I didn't have time.
Del: Really? What's there to do on Fiji anyway?
Amanda: Oh --
Del: You see, you'd know if you'd gone. But you didn't, did you?
Amanda: Why would I make up such a wild lie?
Del: What's his name?
Amanda: Excuse me?
Del: The guy -- the guy you've been doing in New York or Philly or wherever you've been.
Amanda: There's no guy.
Del: Hmm -- girl? You switching teams on me now?
Amanda: I was in Fiji.
Del: Fiji -- Fiji, Delaware, maybe. Come on, Amanda, you can tell me. The guy's probably the loser poster boy anyway.
Amanda: No, del, that honor is still yours.
Del: Oh, right. What's your deal? What, is he married or something? Ooh. Is that it? You know, they never leave their wives, Amanda. I, on the other hand, am still quite available.
Amanda: Oh, that's a surprise.
Del: And no matter how rich he is, money can't buy happiness, kid -- or a devoted guy like myself who'd never consider looking at another woman.
Amanda: Sorry, you lost me on "money can't buy you."
J.R.: I need to talk to you, Amanda --
Erica: Thank you, Pam.
Pam: Do you want me to call anyone -- Kendall? Bianca?
Erica: No, no, no, no need to worry them -- yet.
Pam: I'll keep you company, then.
Erica: Well, you have things to do.
Pam: Nothing's more important than spending time with --
Erica: Well, I mean, someone has to look after "New Beginnings," and that's more important than spending time watching me sleep. And besides, I mean, you can't take my tests for me.
Pam: I wish I could.
Erica: Well, you go back to the office now -- I mean it -- please.
Pam: All right. But if you need anything -- anything -- call me.
Erica: I will.
Pam: You know, you're more than just my boss. I love you.
Erica: Thank you.
[Erica gasps and drops the vase of flowers when Pam returns unexpectedly]
Pam: Ah! Your face --
Erica: Oh! Will you stop laughing? Stop that laughing, you're going to ruin everything!
Pam: "And the golden bedpan goes to Erica Kane for her touching portrayal."
Erica: You -- shh, shh, shh. Really, stop it, be quiet.
[Knock on door]
Erica: Oh -- oh, Jack. I knew you'd come.
Tad: Probably, the poor sap, which is why I thought you'd need a dress rehearsal.
Jack: I'm the problem? Livia, who left me to go find herself and found Jeff Martin instead? Who wanted this divorce to begin with?
Livia: Erica, but --
Jack: Erica -- that's correct. I cannot force her to stay married to me, I wouldn't want to.
Livia: We know that if Erica could admit that she didn't want the divorce, we wouldn't be --
Jack: Then you go strong-arm her, ok? Here's what you can suggest to her -- tell her that her ratings will go up if she calls her divorce off.
Livia: Well, I guess you'll both miss taping "The New Divorce."
Jack: I can't tell you how much.
Livia: Come on, you and Erica publicly mixing it up. Pretty soon it's going to be so long, grand passion, hello, polite nods across restaurants, introducing one another's dates at family gatherings.
Jack: Livia, if that's the way it has to be, that's the way it has to be, because I've done all I can do.
Livia: You used to be persuasive.
Jack: Ok, last night Erica was supposed to come back to me here, in our home. She knew all she had to do was walk through that door.
Livia: And she didn't show?
Jack: No, she didn't show. I've told her I want her, I've told her I want our life together. That's it -- she wants this marriage, she knows what to do.
Livia: You knew how stubborn Erica was when you married her. All I'm asking is if you want me to stall the divorce. I can misfile some paperwork --
Jack: Excuse me.
Livia: Just to give her time to figure it out.
Jack: Now, this ought to be good. Hello.
Tad: Jack, listen, it's me. Um -- what have you heard from Erica?
Jack: Well, gosh, nothing, Tad, and I don't really expect to.
Tad: Oh, man, I was afraid of that. You know, she swore to me she was going to call you, but you know -- you know Erica.
Jack: Yes, I do. Let's see -- after that display you two put on in The Comeback, I guess maybe you're calling me to tell me that you're engaged and she wants my approval, right? Listen, I'm done with these childish games, do you understand?
Tad: Jack, Erica's in the hospital. She was admitted last night.
Jack: What happened?
Tad: I don't know -- I -- I don't know any details. The only thing I'm sure of is that she is in Room 219 and -- well, thank God she's stable. Anyway, they don't want me to talk much longer, so maybe I'll see you here, ok?
Tad: Well, now that Jackson is hooked, I'd say that it's almost showtime.
Joe: Not in my hospital, it's not.
Kendall: No one is firing you, Annie.
Annie: Greenlee wants me gone. Can she kick me out without your vote?
Kendall: No. No, of course not. I'm with you. I'm with you and Ryan and Emma and Spike. You're family, and I want you happy.
Annie: Greenlee is part of your family, too, by your mother's marriage. I mean, we're all going to be living here together soon -- we spend half of our lives at work.
Kendall: Right, it's an adjustment, I understand.
Annie: No, you should've heard her, the way she just invited me to resign.
Kendall: Sounds like Greenlee. Was it in writing?
Kendall: All right, see, it doesn't mean anything. I'm telling you, that was just Greenlee being Greenlee. Once you understand her --
Annie: I understand Greenlee perfectly.
Ryan: So who's meeting you here -- Jackson?
Greenlee: No. By myself, a quiet lunch for one. Unless -- would you like to join me?
Ryan: Oh, uh, not today, thanks.
Greenlee: Really? I can't convince you? Sun reflecting off the water, some gazpacho --
Ryan: Maybe some other time.
Greenlee: You know, I've been thinking a lot about you -- maybe that's why we keep bumping into each other.
Ryan: Really? Like, your mind over my matter?
Greenlee: I just -- I wanted to thank you. I was spinning out of control, making myself and lots of other people miserable. You could've led the charge against me, but instead you decided to defend me.
Ryan: It was no big deal.
Greenlee: Yes, it was. You tried to make people see why I was being such a -- brat.
Ryan: Hmm. You had good reason.
Greenlee: When you said that I deserved to be part of your family -- yours and Spike's and Kendall's -- I just felt so much lighter. You got it -- that was all I wanted, that was all I needed.
Ryan: Well, I'm really glad you feel better.
Greenlee: Well, thanks to you, I'm seeing everything differently, even with Kendall. Sometimes it's like time hasn't even passed. I mean, yes, we're not as close as we used to be, but there's been sparks. The other night we stayed up, and, and -- and we were like the witch chemists of Fusion, mixing and -- and weighing and stirring, and we did it, we came up with the scent for Fusion Freen!
Ryan: Well, you definitely can't give me any credit for that.
Greenlee: Yes, I can. Because when everyone else wanted me to disappear, you reached out and stood up for me. So because of you, I can stay, and I can reclaim my life. Some things stay strong when everything else falls apart. So whether we're married or not, or lovers or not, we're still a part of one another. We're family. It's a bond that can't be broken. Family always comes first.
Ryan: I will always care about you, Greenlee. But my wife and my children come first. They do now and will always.
Greenlee: Of course, Annie and your children come first. I didn't mean to suggest -- I'm sorry.
Ryan: No, no, no, no, it's cool. I just wanted to -- you know, I wanted to be clear. Because you are right -- we -- we are connected. You'll always be part of Spike's life and -- and mine. It's just that Annie has to be comfortable with how you fit in.
Greenlee: Yeah, uh, definitely.
Ryan: She's got to take the lead in this, because you did break up our wedding, had me arrested, almost sued for custody of Spike.
Greenlee: Nobody understands better how Annie feels than I do.
Annie: I know exactly what Greenlee wants -- my life. Well, not -- not my life, exactly, her old life with Ryan, my husband. And in order for her to get it, she's got to get rid of me.
Kendall: That's a little dramatic.
Annie: Oh, and Greenlee's not dramatic?
Kendall: All right, point taken. But you're here, and Greenlee can't do a damn thing about that.
Annie: Well, Greenlee can't make me disappear from Ryan's life, but she's going to fight like hell to get me out of Fusion.
Kendall: Greenlee cannot make you disappear from anywhere, ok? I'm not even sure if she would want to anymore.
Annie: Please, you're joking.
Kendall: What Greenlee expected when she came back and -- and what she dealt with -- it's -- it's no wonder she's a mess. But I think she's coming around.
Annie: Well, with you maybe, but I'm not the one who used to be her best friend. I am the woman who ruined her life. She's never going to forgive me for marrying Ryan.
Kendall: So what?
Annie: You know, you and Ryan, you -- I don't really care how Greenlee feels. You and Ryan are taking care of that for all of us.
Kendall: Ok, well, we have a history with her.
Annie: I know, but you blame yourselves for Greenlee leaving. And now she's back, and you want to make it up to her.
Kendall: Well, yeah, we do, but that doesn't concern you.
Annie: No, but it does concern me, Kendall, and it is my business, because what she wants belongs to other people. And I have to ask myself, how much are you willing to do to make little Greenlee happy? And how much is she going to take that's mine?
[Pounding on door]
Sean: Colby, what -- what are you?
Colby: Shh! Don't even say my name.
Sean: What -- why?
Colby: I'm being tailed, stalked.
Sean: What -- who -- what, are you sure?
Colby: Look -- that freak, like a refugee from the WWE? I kept on imagining it -- you know, we just happened to be going the same way -- but that was two days ago. And then he started showing up in places that didn't make sense -- in a card shop across the street from Salon Jacques.
Sean: Uh -- ok, it could be a coincidence.
Colby: No. And then from the health food store, he followed me -- from the salon to the health food store.
Sean: Are you sure?
Colby: He's outside -- what do you think? I mean, he figures that he could just get away, but he's not even hiding anymore.
Sean: Ok, I'll -- I'll take care of it.
Colby: Uh -- no, you can't!
Sean: What -- look, I'm just going to play nice, talk, find out what's going on.
Colby: That won't tip him off -- "Hey, nice weather -- like my ball?"
Sean: I'm just going to tell him to leave you alone.
Colby: No, he'll cream you.
Sean: Yeah, we'll see.
Colby: Hey -- no, listen, that could be the guy that kidnapped J.R.
J.R.: You've been through hell.
Amanda: I don't look it?
J.R.: Well, no, but you shouldn't be at work right now.
Amanda: Hey, the outside world doesn't know we were kidnapped. Why wouldn't I come back to work after kicking back in Fiji?
J.R.: Right, right, but -- what the hell? It's not like you need the money.
Amanda: I do until you pay up.
J.R.: I'm good for half a million dollars.
Amanda: And five mil if you get the ransom back.
J.R.: I'm going to get it back. I'm not taking orders from Zach Slater.
Amanda: Ok, I put Aidan on Seamus' trail.
J.R.: Well, you might as well spill your guts to the Feds.
Amanda: Well, I wouldn't.
J.R.: I'm as good as in prison now!
Tad: Come on, Pop. You're the guy that wanted to keep her for observation, right?
Joe: Observation, not entertainment.
Tad: Don't think of it as entertainment, think of it as a precaution. You know, you can always run more tests.
Joe: We've already run quite enough tests, spent enough man hours and equipment on Erica. Believe me, Josh and his EKG are going to go out of here.
Tad: Now -- wait a minute, dad. Listen, that EKG was being sent out for repairs, right?
Joe: You know, this is a hospital -- we help people here.
Tad: Right, right, we're -- we're helping Erica.
Joe: Ok, we heal people -- and there's nothing wrong with Erica.
Tad: Well, you heal people body, soul, and mind, right?
Joe: Well, yes, you do have a point there. She could use some help.
Tad: Ok, there you go. Look, I initially thought of this the same way you did, ok, then she brought me around. We're helping two people. We're helping Jack and Erica, they both need this. And I give you my word -- there's no bed shortage, I checked. I'm not going to use any kind of equipment that could possibly benefit anybody else, and Erica's not going to put this on her insurance. She's going to write a check -- a very big check. Come on, Dad, think of this as a boon for mankind. Imagine -- no more "The New Divorce."
Joe: She's out of here tomorrow morning, huh?
Tad: Well, tomorrow morning that thing is turning into a pumpkin, and you're turning into a white mouse.
Erica: How'd you do it?
Tad: By being an advocate for mental health.
Josh: Oh, Joe's never going to let me in this hospital ever again.
Tad: Ah, come on, think positive. Last time you were helping Babe, now you're helping your mother. You know, Dad gets it.
Josh: Why do I doubt you?
Tad: Because old habits die hard?
Erica: I think it's very sad if a mother can't depend on her son for one teensy little favor.
Josh: Don't push it, Erica.
Erica: Should this thing be attached to something?
Tad: Who cares? The thing doesn't work anyway.
Josh: EKG works, it just doesn't work properly.
Erica: You know what? I need this rest, some recovery time.
Tad: You're kidding? Now you're talking yourself into actually being sick?
Erica: This was fate -- my accident.
Josh: You plowed into someone.
Erica: No, Josh, someone plowed into me, someone mowed me down. And confined to this bed, I realize why -- so Jack and I can reconnect.
Tad: And this way, your pride won't take a beating. See you later.
Jack: What is wrong with you? Why didn't you call me last night when you brought her in?
Tad: I -- look, I just -- I couldn't, ok? I just -- I played it out the way she wanted me to play it.
Jack: Is this her room here?
Tad: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. She's just waiting for the results of one big test.
Tad: They're about to come in.
Jack: Sweetheart, why didn't you call me?
Erica: I wasn't up to it.
Jack: No, I mean last night. Why didn't you have Tad call me then?
Erica: Well, I didn't want to worry you.
Jack: Well, how do you feel?
Erica: I have no pain. I'm just exhausted.
Josh: I'm going to review this and the other tests and, uh, come back later.
Erica: Thank you. And thank you, Jack. Thank you for coming -- in spite of everything.
Jack: Always, Erica, always. You know that.
Colby: My father and Zach Slater found them. They're all right, but now the FBI is all over it.
Sean: Yeah, and your dad's out $100 million.
Colby: Yeah, but he doesn't care, as long as J.R.'S safe. Listen, you cannot tell a soul -- the cops don't even know.
Sean: I won't, I won't, I won't.
Colby: It's all tied up with business now, Chandler stock or something.
Sean: Yeah, but if J.R.'s worth a fortune, that means you are, too. If anything happened to you, I don't know what I'd do.
[Knock on door]
Colby: It's him!
Sean: Look, it's ok -- relax.
Colby: No, don't answer it!
Sean: Look -- no, it's -- look, it's cool, it's Chief Frye.
Colby: Oh. Oh! I thought they'd send a squad car. Is he out there, did you see him?
Derek: I had a chat with your stalker, ran a check on his ID.
Derek: No outstanding warrants.
Colby: Did you arrest him?
Derek: His name is Sven Morgenthal, he's on your father's payroll as your bodyguard -- and we all know why you need one.
J.R.: How -- how could you tell Aidan that I planned my own kidnapping?
Amanda: I told Aidan I want Seamus found because he ditched me and took my dad's lucky coin.
J.R.: So you don't think that Aidan's going to figure out the connection, that Seamus worked for me?
Amanda: I told him already.
J.R.: Oh -- you did? This just gets better and better.
Amanda: Why should that be a secret? You think Seamus is going to cop to the fact that he was part of the kidnapping plot and then double-crossing you?
J.R.: Who knows what else Aidan's going to uncover?
Amanda: Well, excuse me for trying to help.
J.R.: Yeah, sure, help -- help yourself to another $4.5 million.
Amanda: Like I don't deserve it for being afraid for my life, you jerk. You didn't give a damn what happened to me during our abduction.
J.R.: Now that's not true. I kept you safe.
Amanda: The extra money would come out of Adam's pocket, and he should pay for what he did to my mom -- talking her into escaping? He's the one that was behind her kidnapping Krystal's baby.
J.R.: Will you please spare me the play-by-play? I know every rotten trick my dad's ever done.
Amanda: Oh, but it doesn't matter anymore, does it, since Adam shelled out your ransom money. Now he's a saint, and you're his golden boy again.
J.R.: Your mother is responsible for a lot of people's pain, and you're still in her corner. Shall we compare your mother's rap sheet to my father's?
Amanda: I was making a point.
J.R.: Well, whatever your excuse is, dragging Aidan into this was -- dangerous. We know Zach is the one who ripped off my dad.
Kendall: You're not unsure about Ryan?
Annie: About what we have? About how much he loves me? No. But I hate that he's too good for his own good.
Kendall: And yours.
Annie: And maybe Spike's and Zach and yours, too.
Kendall: Greenlee did barrel into town on overdrive.
Annie: Yeah -- anti-Annie overdrive.
Kendall: As Greenlee would say, "It's not personal," where you're concerned.
Annie: Yeah -- she's just after my husband, and I just happen to be in the way.
Kendall: All right, I'm not -- I'm not asking you to pretend that you adore Greenlee.
Annie: I can barely tolerate Greenlee.
Kendall: All right, just -- just give her a chance to let -- let her show you who she really is. I know, I know -- Greenlee can be horribly annoying, but she can also be a really fantastic person, too.
Annie: Oh, I have had it up to here with the hidden wonders of Greenlee.
Kendall: Annie, you'll see. Greenlee's a special person, and she could be a pretty amazing friend.
Annie: Well, I won't hold my breath, but I will keep my eyes open.
Kendall: Ok. Why don't the three of us go and toast to good times and have a smoothie?
Annie: Thank you, but I think I'm going to wrap up here so I can go surprise Ryan at the club.
Greenlee: Why should Annie trust me after everything I've done? Earning her respect may take ages, but I will, Ryan. I -- I swear I will. Anything -- anything to make you happy.
Singer: They say I'm living
Ryan: I'm already happy -- with Annie.
Greenlee: Right, and you deserve it. We've been through so much.
Ryan: We have. So have Annie and I.
Greenlee: Ok. It's not a competition. You found happiness with Annie. Hold on to it. I -- I would never intentionally try to screw -- oh, oh, oh!
Ryan: Hey, baby.
Ryan: Come here, boo! Come here, come here.
Rachael: Spike's been asking for you, so I will be right back.
Ryan: How are you? Ok, absolutely -- that's for me. That's really for you more than it is for me. You miss your old man? Is that right?
Greenlee: Oh, hello, Spikey!
Ryan: You remember this lady over here, don't you? She's over here. She's this way. She's facing this way right here -- you remember her, Aunt Greenlee? There she is. Hi.
Greenlee: Hi! Hi, angel face.
Greenlee: You remember me, don't you?
Greenlee: Oh, yes, you do. Well, maybe we're new friends, but soon, we'll be the best of pals, and Spikey? I'm always going to be around for you, ok?
Greenlee: Because I care about you lots, lots and lots and lots.
Ryan: Spike and I have swim class.
Greenlee: Spike, are you a guppy?
Ryan: We got "Daddy and me" class, and we got to go change into our swimsuits.
Greenlee: Ok. Well, you and Daddy have fun.
Ryan: Say goodbye to Aunt Greenlee. He's very excited for swim class, we better run.
Greenlee: Yes, I think so.
Ryan: Say good-bye.
Ryan: See you later.
J.R.: So, Zach's been buying up Chandler stock, probably to make his own run at the company. My dad saved him the trouble.
Amanda: So if you and Adam can't repay Zach, he'll take control of the company?
Amanda: How much time is left?
J.R.: Well, do you want it in hours or minutes?
Amanda: So you think Zach is working with Seamus?
J.R.: Yeah, well, if Zach can flip him to his side, I can flip him right back.
Amanda: Oh. Ok, it's hard for me to say no to you sometimes, but I think Seamus will be a harder sell.
J.R.: Don't worry. I'm going to work on an angle, ok?
Kendall: Tumbling off the wagon, J.R.?
J.R.: Wake up on the wrong side of the kennel, Kendall?
Kendall: So, how was Fiji?
Amanda: Um, I feel better. You know, I got some things sorted out.
Kendall: Ah, yes. Well, I can do that here at the Spa of Paradise. It's much cheaper, too. Fiji must be a fortune.
Amanda: I just paid for meals, a friend picked up the rest.
Kendall: Nice friend. Introduce me sometime.
Amanda: Sure. I'm quitting -- well, in two weeks. Is that enough notice?
Kendall: What, what -- and, what's going on, Amanda?
Amanda: Nothing. I just -- I've loved ConFusion, but it's time to move on.
Kendall: Right. Well, if you're moving on to J.R., be careful on balconies and avoid construction supplies. He can be lethal.
Derek: X, Special K -- it's all poison. Too bad so many kids have to find out the hard way like when a friend dies or one gets dragged in front of a judge. Adam and I don't agree on much, but if you were my daughter, I'd hire someone to keep you out of trouble, too.
Colby: Thanks for checking on Sven for me.
Derek: But I'd go further. You'd be grounded as far as he's concerned, and you -- I'd slap a restraining order on you that'd keep you a mile away from my daughter.
Colby: Listen, Sean's not a druggy.
Derek: He had a pocket full of pills, and he pled guilty.
Sean: Look, I made a big mistake, ok, but I'm not repeating it.
Derek: Better not. Another conviction could wreck your life forever.
Sean: Yeah, well, I've learned my lesson.
Derek: Hmm. Guess Adam's more trusting than I am.
Sean: Sven is probably ratting you out to Adam right now.
Sean: And then Derek will call, "How could you let Colby hang with that druggy?" Nice knowing you.
Colby: My father cannot keep me from seeing you. No one can.
Erica: Jack. Jack?
Jack: I'm right here, I'm right here. Sweetheart, I'm right here -- right here.
Erica: Oh -- oh, it was a dream.
Erica: It was only a dream. Oh. Where are we?
Jack: Well, you're in the hospital, honey.
Erica: Oh, yes. Yes. Oh, I had the most horrible dream.
Jack: Oh, well, listen, it was just a dream. Why don't you go back to sleep, ok? Get some rest.
Erica: Well, I was far, far away from you. But somewhere inside my heart, I knew that you were waiting for me. But when I opened the door was blocked by masses of luggage and trunks and it was a solid wall. And I tried to go through the wall, I tried to move the wall. I fought the luggage, but the luggage fought back, and pretty soon, I had to stop. I mean, I couldn't breathe. I was trapped. Do you think that means anything?
Jack: I think your unconscious mind took a real moment, and you have exaggerated it.
Erica: Really, I have?
Jack: Yeah. Months ago, after you left me, I packed up your belongings, and I sent them over to the Valley Inn. Do you remember?
Erica: Oh. Was that just months ago? My goodness. That seems forever ago. That seems a lifetime ago. I barely remember.
Ryan: Yeah, I know, I know. Vitamin D is great and everything, but I got to get you all greased up.
Ryan: You don't want it all? You got enough on already? Oh.
Greenlee: Does that hurt?
Ryan: Well --
Greenlee: You're a little pink. Pink's not your color. Here, give me.
Ryan: Oh -- oh, no, no. I got it, thank you. It's all right. I got it, there we go. Come here, Spike. Come here. Look at you.
Greenlee: Oh, well, good thing I was passing by or Daddy was going to get super crispy.
Ryan: Ha. How was your lunch?
Greenlee: Delicious, but it robbed me of all ambition. I am taking the rest of the day off to soak up the glories of nature. Mind if I join you?
Tad: J.R., if I didn't know any better, I'd swear you were trying to get away from me.
J.R.: Hey, I just got a lot on my mind, a lot of business stuff I got to take care of right now.
Tad: You're lying. What's really on your mind? Tell me.
J.R.: You know, I'm not doing Martin. The name change. You were dead right. It was just to get back at my father.
Tad: Yeah, and it would've been effective. Well, if you want my advice, I would've stuck it somewhere it really counted like his wallet.
J.R.: Actually, I'm -- I'm not doing the anger.
Tad: Good. If he's not pressing your buttons, that means you control the remote.
J.R.: I don't feel like I'm in control.
Tad: Hey. Come on. You stopped yourself right in the middle of plotting revenge. That's a big step. Adam couldn't have done it. You should give yourself little credit for ending things before they got out of hand.
Colby: So you don't have ankle bracelets or anything?
Sean: No, I actually got off easy. Drug counseling, community service.
Colby: How much?
Sean: 300 hours.
Colby: That's like a full-time job.
Sean: Yeah, but I get to work it off over time, and they make you do stuff that's good for the community, and, you know --
Colby: Like pick up trash, but you could still spend nights at the boathouse?
Sean: Yeah. But we'll have to, you know, make it early, because I have a curfew.
Colby: Well, we can handle it.
Sean: Yeah, you don't have a curfew.
Colby: Sean, you're the one who took the charge to keep me out of trouble. Summer can still be great.
Sean: Well, now that the stalker scare is over -- have I told you how much I miss you?
Colby: Hmm, I miss you, too. How the boathouse seems like months ago.
Sean: Yeah, at least.
Colby: Uh -- not that I'm trying to get carried away or anything, but no one's home, right? I mean, no one was behind Derek's back when he was giving his "don't do drugs" speech.
Sean: No, no, Uncle Jack's at work or whatever, and Lily, too. And Ava moved out.
Colby: Oh, whoo-hoo!
Erica: I can't sleep.
Erica: Jack --
Erica: Before this happened, last night, I was supposed to come to you, wasn't I?
Jack: Were you on your way?
Erica: I don't know. It's like my dream. I mean, I want to get to you. But then something happens, and I can't.
Jack: What was it this time?
Erica: I was mowed down.
Jack: Oh. A mysterious malady? I see. Well, I sure hope it isn't serious.
Erica: Let's just dwell on the positive.
Erica: Ok? Because no matter what happens, I'm the luckiest woman on earth.
Jack: And I think I can say without any fear of contradiction the gutsiest. Your doctors must have some idea how serious this is.
Erica: Yes, but they're careful. I mean, Joe doesn't want me subjected to any unnecessary tests.
Jack: Oh, no, of course not. But I mean, have they given you any idea as to the diagnosis?
Erica: Result of stress?
Erica: The unrelenting pressure of my career, my personal life. I mean, there's just so much a person can take.
Jack: Oh, ho -- don't I know it. Well, that you've managed to bear up this long under this kind of strain -- I think it's -- well, it's a miracle.
Erica: You're so understanding.
Jack: Why are you surprised?
Erica: Well, I mean, you have been a little difficult. I mean, you were a little uncooperative with me about what I wanted to do for "The New Divorce."
Jack: Yeah. Yeah, I've been thinking about that. There you were trying to help the world, and there I was just thinking of nobody but myself. Well, listen, you close your eyes, ok? I'll be right back.
Erica: You're leaving?
Jack: Well, you better save that strength, huh? What I'm doing won't take long.
Erica: Well, no, no, I mean, why -- why do you have to go?
Jack: I want to get a surprise for you. Something healing.
Erica: You're so good to me.
Jack: Close your eyes. I'll be back before you know it.
Kendall: Thank you so much. You know, I don't know why I'm warning you about J.R. Didn't he try to run you down and let Babe take the rap?
Amanda: I'm sorry, you're not getting my personal life served up with that smoothie.
Kendall: Actually, didn't Babe save your life? I mean, J.R. would have just let you die.
Amanda: He was drunk.
Kendall: Oh. Then it's ok, then?
Amanda: I don't want to revisit the bad times, ok?
Kendall: All right. You stick around with J.R., you'll end up reliving them.
Amanda: Lily, hey, it's Amanda. Is Zach in his office? Ok, I need to see him, like, now.
Greenlee: Looks like the racing committee is gearing up for a big July and August. What about you, Spikey? Are you the seafaring type?
Ryan: Are you kidding me? Spike and Emma are practically sprouting gills. Sailing is definitely in their future.
Greenlee: Well, good, because I got this in the gift shop.
Ryan: Are you kidding me?
Ryan: Boating shoes! These are awesome!
Greenlee: I know. They were so cute, I couldn't pass them up.
Ryan: All right, we got to try these on. Wait a minute. Dad's got to get the right parts on. The first one --
Greenlee: Ooh! Perfect!
>> On the next "All My Children" --
Zach: 10% of $100 million. You worth all that?
Amanda: My silence is. Do we have a deal?
Greenlee: And Annie is freaking, because she knows Ryan is only hers on paper.
Ryan: Greenlee --
Annie: Will never stop trying to get you back, and you love it.
