Kendall: You're going to take me to court? What, are you out of your mind?
Ryan: Well, you backed me into a corner, Kendall. I have no other choice.
Kendall: Ok, Spike is safe here, he's staying with me. Why don't you go home to the mother of your other child, please?
Ryan: No, I'm actually not going anywhere until this is settled.
Kendall: Zach, will you tell him to get out?
Zach: It's not a group event.
Kendall: Ok, Spike stays, you go. Discussion's over.
Ryan: No, it's not over. Let me try to explain this to you. I'm protecting our son, who happens to be in danger because Zach is a target, and you are a target. So just be reasonable and let me take him home.
Kendall: Ryan, Ryan, for the third time, Spike is staying here with me.
Ryan: Well, then I am taking you to court.
Kendall: You are suing for custody of a child you didn't even want.
Derek: The good news -- Dani 's getting stronger every day. The bad news -- she still can't remember anything more about the attack.
Jack: Well, what's important is that Dani is getting better. Be awfully nice to get a break in this case, though.
Derek: This is the Forensics report from the Cambias storage facility.
Derek: Nothing promising. Great! Could this day get any worse?
Jamie: Amanda, you don't have to do this.
Amanda: Yes, I do.
Jamie: You realize this is going to be hard as hell?
Amanda: I have done hell. This, I'll handle somehow.
Jamie: Well, I know it's a long shot, but thank you.
Amanda: It's better than doing nothing.
Attendant: Miss Dillon, Mr. Martin?
Jamie: You sure you're up for this?
Amanda: We're ready.
Krystal: Wrong number.
Josh: I'm looking for Babe.
Krystal: She's not looking for you.
Josh: Please, Krystal, I just want to talk to her.
Krystal: She is not here, and if she were, she wouldn't want to talk to you, Josh. So just know when to fold 'em.
Josh: Do you have any idea where she is?
Krystal: As if I would tell you.
Josh: She is with Zoe who's dressed as a woman. They're up to something, and it can only mean trouble.
Krystal: You'd be getting trouble right between the eyes if J.R. had opened this door. So thank the good Lord he's at the office.
[Zoe meets J.R. at the door with a big smooch while Babe snaps pictures.]
J.R.: What the -- get off of me!
Zoe: Oh, now, is that any way to treat a lady?
Zoe: Don't worry, I've had all my shots.
J.R.: Get out of my office!
Zoe: I think it was as bad for him as it was for me. Did you get it?
Babe: Uh-huh. Oh, no, no, no.
Zoe: I still have enough testosterone to take you.
J.R.: Get your filthy hands off me!
Babe: Hmm, Zoe, you are so photogenic. My attorney is going to flip.
Zoe: Be a good boy.
Babe: Ah -- email sent.
J.R.: It won't work. The picture's a lie.
Babe: But, J.R., you, of all people, would know that lies can be so powerful. Like the lie that I forced you into signing over custody of little a, or the lie that you got drunk and accidentally bumped into those construction supplies that half-killed Kendall and her baby, or -- my favorite lie of all -- that Zoe and I here are lovers. That one's hot.
Zoe: Oh, but this one's even better.
J.R.: Wait a second, this is all you got? That's pathetic.
Zoe: Oh, it gets even better.
Zoe: I'll send the photo to "American Rock Star Weekly." World exclusive -- I'm J.R. Chandler's new bitch.
Zoe: The press will eat it up.
Babe: I love it -- so will the Chandler board members. Good call.
J.R.: They won't buy it.
Babe: Why not? I mean, looks pretty real to me, and I'll make sure each one gets their own personal copy.
J.R.: And I got a little picture of my own, too.
Zoe: Oh, God, he's so predictable.
Babe: Told you.
Zoe: That picture goes public, I'll confess to the tabloids that kinky J.R. has been begging me and his wife to crawl into bed together.
[Babe and Zoe chuckle]
J.R.: The won't believe it.
Babe: You want to find out?
Babe: I'll fight your lies with my lies. You'll lose.
Babe: Excuse me. Hey, Mama.
Krystal: Are you ok, baby doll?
Babe: I'm in the middle of something, but everything's fine.
Krystal: Well, it's that "something" that I'm worried about. Now, Josh came looking for you. And you and Zoe are halfway to trouble and he is hell-bent on finding you, so what is going on?
Babe: Don't worry. Everything's under control.
Adam: What was that all about?
Krystal: Josh Madden. Why can't he leave Babe alone? Can't he see that she and J.R. are finally, truly in a good place? And he's still hoping for something that can't happen. He -- he's mucking up trouble where there isn't any.
Adam: Is Babe finally finished with Josh?
Krystal: Yes -- for good and forever. She wants a life with J.R., nobody else.
Adam: It's not the first time I've heard that.
Krystal: Come on, can't you see how close J.R. and Babe have been these last few months?
Adam: No, I can't.
Janet: Is it really my Amanda?
Janet: Have you really, finally come?
Amanda: Hi, Mother.
Janet: You're so beautiful. You're even more beautiful
[Amanda pulls away when Janet tries to hug her]
Janet: I -- I dreamed of this moment. Oh, I prayed for this moment, my Amanda, and I'd almost given up hope that it would ever happen.
Jamie: Janet, we need a favor, that's why we're here.
Janet: "We"? Are you and Amanda a "we" now? She did love you.
Amanda: No, Mother, it's all in the past. Jamie and I are not a "we." We're just friends.
Janet: Friends? That's nice. It's good to have friends.
Amanda: Will you help us?
Janet: Anything. I'll do anything to help you -- haven't I always? Now, tell me, Amanda, what's wrong?
Amanda: Terrible things are happening in pine valley.
Jack: I'll tell you what let's do, Derek -- let's keep Jenkins as long as we can, maybe he'll change his story. I don't know.
Derek: I still have people eyeing the rock star. I'll go touch base with them now.
Jack: Keep me posted.
Derek: Hello, Erica.
Erica: Derek. .
Jack: Sorry to keep you waiting.
Erica: No, that's ok. I -- I know that you're busy. I wouldn't be here, it's just that I am even more afraid for Bianca and Kendall now.
Jack: Do you know something we don't know? Have there been more threats? What?
Erica: Oh, threats, yes. No -- I mean, not about the murder suspect. It's just that Bianca and Kendall's lives seem to be unraveling even as we speak.
Jack: I see. Well, you know, I'm -- I kind of got my hands full with this Satin-Slayer thing here, but I have every confidence that you'll be able to help save Bianca and Kendall from themselves. Excuse me, I've been waiting for this.
Erica: I really shouldn't have come, no, of course not, because you're way too busy too busy to care that Bianca has become involved with this transgender rock star, serial killer, murder suspect who happens to be living one floor away with her in Josh's apartment. You couldn't possibly spare the time to worry that Kendall's little baby boy is being raised by that conniving, manipulative mother of Ryan's daughter.
Jack: Ryan's what?
Ryan: I have parental rights here, Kendall. I have a document stipulating that I --
Kendall: That's only because I gave you those rights --
Ryan: Which I am now exercising.
Kendall: No, which you are abusing by threatening to sue for custody.
Ryan: I don't want to do this, Kendall, but you're not giving me another choice.
Kendall: No, Ryan, the choice is Spike stays. Live with it.
Ryan: Look, I'm -- I'm going to try this again. Until the killer is caught, you're in danger, which means Spike is in danger -- you even agreed to that.
Kendall: Well, that was before we moved into the casino. Ryan, this place is a flippin' fortress.
Ryan: It's not enough. There's a guy out there that wants you dead, and nothing has stopped him, absolutely nothing. Do you really want to risk our child's life? Is that what you want? Zach, are you with me on this?
Zach: Oh, man. Whatever Kendall wants, it's her decision. I'm with her.
Kendall: I know what you're doing. You're -- you're doing this, because I kept Emma from you, so you want to keep my son from me. You -- you want to punish me.
Ryan: No, Kendall, that's not what I want.
Kendall: Of course, it is, Ryan. Why don't you just rip out my heart instead? It won't hurt as much.
Ryan: Look, it's not like you're not going to be able to see him. You come over whenever you want, you know?
Kendall: Visiting hours? No, not with little Annie guarding -- no. No, forget it, Ryan.
Ryan: You know what?
[Knock on door]
Ryan: I have never seen you more selfish, and that is saying a lot.
Kendall: Spike is safe with me, he's staying here, that's it.
Tad: It worked. The killer wants a face-to-face with Ryan.
Janet: My God -- Dixie dead? She was such a good mother. Well, she had her faults -- who doesn't? -- but she loved her children. I am so sorry for your loss.
Jamie: Thank you.
Janet: And poor J.R. Oh, a mother can never be replaced. And those poor other young women and their families --
Jamie: Well, more women are going to die if we do not find this killer, and we stop him.
Janet: Amanda, are you in danger? Because if you are, we have to do something right away.
Amanda: No, no, Mom, I am not. But Babe is. You remember Babe -- you kidnapped her. You wanted her to replace me as your child. You thought I betrayed you.
Janet: Amanda, I am very, very sorry. I have done so many things wrong, and I hurt you in a thousand different ways -- and Babe. She was a good mother to her little boy, and you were the best daughter to me. Can you forgive me?
Amanda: Babe is one of my best friends, and she's one of the Satin Slayer's targets.
Janet: "Satin Slayer"? What, like "Janet from Another Planet"?
Amanda: We were hoping that you could give us a clue as to how this guy operates.
Janet: Huh. Because I have so much experience as a psychopath, you want me to give you the map to his mind.
Jamie: Anything would help.
Janet: I'm not that person anymore. The -- uh -- things that I did and the people that I hurt -- I don't like to go there.
Jamie: Oh, I get it's painful, but we need your help, Janet. Would you at least try?
Amanda: For me. For Babe.
Babe: This doesn't have to get ugly, J.R. but if you want to get down and dirty, I will be right there with you.
Zoe: Your choice.
Babe: I just -- I would rather drop the lies and the bull and try to work this out. Please, for our son's sake.
Josh: Babe, are you ok?
J.R.: You're behind this, I should've known.
Babe: Josh, you shouldn't be here.
J.R.: Get out, all of you!
Babe: J.R., please. Josh and I are through, I need you to believe that.
Josh: You're trying to convince him still? You think he cares, Babe?
J.R.: I don't. I just want this over with, all of it, once and for all. Tick, tock, Babe. You happen to give her the message?
Josh: J.R.'s holding something over your head, isn't he, Babe? And it's big -- what is it?
Krystal: You would have to be blind not to see the sparks snapping between Babe and J.R.
Adam: Things aren't always as they appear.
Krystal: Do you know something I don't know?
Adam: After Babe's affair with Josh, I think you can understand why it wasn't easy for J.R. just to go pick up where they left off. So, for the last few months, he's been collecting evidence.
Krystal: He's been what?
Adam: Yes -- in case of a trial, in case of a divorce. A picture, a photograph of Zoe -- with Babe, in bed together. And the -- the nanny cam from Josh's room.
Krystal: Oh -- you're saying all this time J.R. has been spying on Babe, yanking her heart around? I would like to yank his heart out right through his throat.
Adam: J.R. was hurt. No matter how much he loves Babe, he needed to make sure he could trust her again.
Krystal: So he set her up and let her think that they have a future.
Adam: They do.
Krystal: By lying and spying and gaming my baby doll, and that is your idea of a miracle?
Adam: Chandler men don't forgive easily. I'm sorry. I'm sorry this hurts you. I'm sor -- I'm -- I'm even sorrier that I had to keep it from you. But J.R. needed to do something, and I needed to -- to support him. And it tore me up to have to keep it from you every day. Krystal, I don't ever want to keep anything from you again. Can you forgive me?
Krystal: Uh -- it's not as if I haven't kept some deep, dark secrets from you.
Adam: But what is -- what is the "deep, dark secret" you've been harboring? What is this secret? Krystal, you can tell me anything.
Krystal: Babe and Josh's affair -- I -- I didn't tell you about it until you -- you looked me point-blank in the eye, and you asked me for the truth. I --
Adam: But you -- and you gave it to me, and I love you for it. Krystal, I'm never going to keep anything from you ever again, I swear. I don't want anything between us but love. Just love -- no lies, no -- no secrets. You think you can do that? You and I, everything out in the open, always. We set noble standards, but we can do it, you and I can do it. As a matter of fact, I have the perfect plan to get us to the point of full disclosure.
J.R.: Well, what are you waiting for, Babe? Tell Josh what I'm holding over your head, why the clock is ticking. Actually, it's more like a bomb.
Babe: I'm not going to do this.
J.R.: I will. I'd love to. How about you, Zoe? Do you have any clue why Babe enlisted you into her nasty little conspiracy?
Zoe: I know what you're about -- that's enough.
J.R.: Hmm. So you're holding out on your best she-male friend, too, huh? That's not fair. Give it up, share.
Josh: Leave her alone.
Babe: You don't belong here.
Josh: Neither do you.
Zoe: Time to go, Josh.
Josh: No, Zoe, I'm not leaving Babe alone --
Babe: Josh, please.
J.R.: You've got him pretty well trained.
Babe: J.R., again, I will hand you over the shares of Chandler, we'll share custody of Little Adam. It'll be a clean divorce, over and done with. Please, just think of our son.
J.R.: I am. He doesn't deserve a slut of a mother -- and don't get me started on his granny.
Babe: I am thinking about what is best for our child and what's best for our family, which does include my mother and your father. This is between you and me. Can we please just leave it that way?
J.R.: My father deserves the truth.
Babe: You take down my mother, I will take you down just as hard, starting with this picture of you and Zoe.
J.R.: You've tried to firebomb my life so many times, and I'm still here. It's proof I can handle anything you throw at me.
Babe: One last chance to be a human being.
J.R.: Like you? You're trash, Babe. I can't stand the stink of you. Your life was so not worth my mother's.
Janet: The killer could be like me. I mean, I went off my meds, went right off my rocker. I was consumed with being the perfect mother to Amanda. Whatever she wanted, whatever she needed, I was going to get it for her.
Jamie: Even if you had to blow things up.
Janet: Well, you see, that's the -- that's the thing of it. No matter how warped it was, it all made perfect sense to me at the time. I never intended to hurt anyone, and I never, ever wanted to kill anyone. It -- it was just that no matter where I turned, I kept seeing people tormenting my beautiful daughter, and I had to stop it.
Amanda: How was Daddy tormenting me? He loved me. Why did you hate him? Why did you kill him?
Janet: Amanda, I didn't hate your father. I loved him with all my heart. I just needed him to be quiet, for just a little while. I never intended to kill him.
Jamie: Well, the SOB that we're dealing with definitely intends to kill.
Janet: Why do you keep calling him a "he"? How do you know he is a "he"?
Jamie: Because when Danielle was attacked, she said she thought she saw a man. Whoever it is has a real hatred for Zach Slater. That's why they're working their way to Kendall.
Janet: How do you know that they're motivated by hate? Hmm? The killer could be driven by love. Twisted love, the way mine used to be.
Zach: Why would the killer want a meeting with you?
Tad: Because we took advantage of the bug he left at Fusion.
Ryan: I went off on you. I -- I guess I pretty much blamed you for everything the killer's done. I said it wouldn't be a bad idea if you got bumped off courtesy of me.
Kendall: That's very nice.
Zach: No, he's right. Smart.
Tad: We have more than we did. If we're lucky, we can flush him out in the open.
Kendall: Well, this means that Jenkins is not the killer. I mean, losers behind bars can't send faxes.
Ryan: Yeah. Wait a minute -- "nightfall"-- that's in, like, half an hour.
Kendall: Wait, where -- where are you going, Ryan?
Ryan: I got an appointment with a killer, that's where.
Kendall: No, the hell you do.
Josh: What's this conspiracy J.R. was talking about?
Babe: Can we just drop it?
Josh: Why the hell did you even go back to him? Open yourself to be shredded all over again? Hasn't he done enough damage?
Babe: Go ahead. Say it -- you have three seconds.
Josh: Say what?
Babe: "I told you so," about J.R., that I am an idiot for trusting him, a fool for thinking that our marriage could work again? Just say it and get it out of the way, because I never want to hear it again.
Josh: Babe, you think I'm happy J.R. is a pig? I'm not going to wave a flag. I'm just here to help you.
Babe: I don't need your help.
Josh: Well, you got it anyway.
Zoe: Maybe the best way to help Babe is to respect her wishes.
Josh: What, sit on the sideline, watch her life blow up? No, thanks.
Babe: I can handle this on my own.
Josh: "This" -- "this" what? What were you and Zoe doing in J.R.'s office?
Babe: Look, the last time that you tried to rescue me, you dragged me into some shed, and you blew up my marriage!
Josh: So J.R. found out that you were with me?
Zoe: Yes, and turned into a total pig.
Josh: You know, J.R. has and always will be a pig. You're blaming me for that now, too?
Babe: No. Of course not. It's just that everything is hanging by a thread right now, and you in the middle of it only makes it worse. So if you really want to help me, please just -- just leave me alone and stay out of my life.
Josh: Look, you need anything, you call me, all right?
Babe: Oh, God!
[Zoe comforts Babe with a hug]
[Sitting at his desk, J.R. remembers his mother's last words]
Dixie: Give Tad his child.
J.R.: We'll never stop looking for Kate, Mom.
Dixie: Oh, honey. Not Kate. Krystal's baby is Tad's.
J.R.: Yeah. Have them bring my car around front. I'm going home.
Janet: Everything I did, as horrible as it was, I did out of love for my daughter.
Jamie: Do you want to stop?
Amanda: Go on. Keep talking about why.
Janet: Like the Mardi Gras Ball explosion. I never wanted to hurt anyone, I just wanted to get their attention. I wanted them to treat my Amanda better.
Amanda: You killed people.
Janet: Yes, that is the thing of it. You see, I didn't -- understand. It never occurred to me that someone would get hurt or die -- never crossed my mind. And so maybe, the satin slayer -- maybe they don't understand, either. I mean, it wasn't until Zach Slater came and saw me in jail that I even began to comprehend that I actually killed a human being.
Zach: Let him go.
Kendall: Ryan, you -- you love our son? You're all about protecting Spike and me, but it's ok for you to go and meet up with a serial killer? No, I'm sorry. Forget it.
Zach: He's not going alone. I'm going with him.
Kendall: No, you're not. No, you are not walking out that door, Zach.
Tad: I'm in.
Kendall: What are you doing?
Zach: This is our chance.
Kendall: To get yourself killed?
Tad: I've called Aidan. He's going to be stationed at a distance.
Kendall: This guy is a complete and utter maniac. Please, I -- I'm not going to lose my husband, my son's father, and a friend. Just let the cops handle this.
Tad: Whoever the killer is, he's very smart. If he sees so much as a plainclothes cop anywhere near that pump house, we're going to lose our chance all over again.
Kendall: Well, it's better than winding up dead.
Ryan: All right. Ok, big guy, I'll be back, all right? Don't you worry -- I'll be right back. I will be back, and when I'm back, you and I are going to finish our discussion.
Kendall: You know what? I should have you all arrested for stupidity. There -- there is an entire task force ready, willing, and able and paid to risk their lives.
Zach: Shh. It's going to be ok.
Kendall: Zach, please don't do this.
Zach: We'll be right back.
Erica: And to make matters worse, just because Kendall didn't tell Ryan about his daughter, Emma, he's holding it against her.
Jack: That sounds kind of familiar -- like mother, like daughter, huh? You kept Greenlee's paternity a secret from me -- remember?
Erica: You know what, Jack? If you want to dredge up old battles, then --
Jack: Erica, that -- I'm -- that was not my intention.
Derek: Excuse me. Jack, the governor wants an update. He'll be calling shortly.
Jack: Thanks, Derek. I'll be ready for him.
Erica: Did you know that Josh had invited that -- that transgender murder suspect to be his roommate in your old apartment?
Jack: Erica, we are watching Zoe 24 hours a day. He doesn't so much as sneeze that I don't know about it, and that includes his time with Bianca, believe me. Look, Officer Hannity has that surveillance, and he is reporting directly to me.
Erica: Well, could you also order Officer Hannity to keep Zoe away from Bianca while you're at it?
Jack: I'm afraid that's not part of his job description, but I assure you I'm keeping my eye on Bianca and Zoe.
Erica: Thank you.
Officer: Mr. Montgomery?
Officer: Forensics, the governor's office, Forensics again, and --
Jack: Got it, got it, got it. Thanks, thanks, thanks, thanks. Believe me, I'm doing everything in my power to make sure that Kendall and Bianca stay safe.
Erica: And Josh -- what about Josh? I mean, Josh is hell-bent on going after that useless and very married Babe Chandler. I mean, he said he'd even go through J.R.
Jack: I'm sure Josh can handle himself. Sean, however -- huh.
Erica: Sean? What's going on with Sean?
Jack: Well, Sean is not the problem, actually. It's his -- it's his mother. How long has she ignored this boy, and now she's bombarding me with phone calls.
Erica: Barbara actually calls herself his mother?
Jack: Yeah -- can you believe that?
Officer: Mr. Montgomery?
Officer: The governor again.
Jack: Thanks. Can we discuss this later, at home?
Erica: "At home"?
Jack: Yeah -- you know, our house? Can you meet me there later?
Kendall: You know, your father's losing his mind, and so is Zach and so is Tad. What are we going to do with them? What -- what do they think they're going to do, put the whack job under citizen's arrest? Crazy boys.
Kendall: Be right back. Hello? Yeah, put him through. Hmm.
Josh: Do you have any idea what's going on with Babe and J.R.?
Kendall: I really don't give a damn about Babe and J.R.
Josh: This is important, Kendall.
Kendall: Ok. Ryan could die, so could Zach. Is that important enough for you?
[Ryan, Zach, and Tad lie in wait for the killer in the pump house.]
Babe: Bust or no bust, I owe you. Thank you for helping me with this. Only a true friend would plant a whopper of a kiss on my disgusting husband and let it be photographed.
Zoe: Even if I were into men, I'd still be repulsed by him.
Babe: I really do owe you.
Zoe: Oh, no, nothing. You're my girlfriend, remember? You've held my hand, and you've been by my side since the very beginning. You see me when everybody else sees a freak. You said you'd never abandon me, and you haven't. That promise goes both ways. Whatever you need, whenever you need it, I'm ready for it. I would help in any way I can. My little baby.
J.R.: Don't mind me -- I'm just passing through.
Adam: No -- hey, wait, no, no, no, no, no. Wait -- wait here. Krystal and I have just come to a major decision. We've agreed on a no-secrets policy.
J.R.: That should work well.
Adam: Yeah, well, you know, I'm quite serious. Now, we're -- there'll be no secrets between us, ever, no big or small. Only complete and total honesty.
J.R.: Both of you?
Adam: Uh, yes. It's a big step, but we can use your help.
J.R.: Oh. I'm not so sure about that.
Adam: Yeah, well, just hear me out. From now on, any time you say anything to me, tell me anything, any secret, I'm going to pass it on to Krystal. Hmm? And if you confide in me, then know that Krystal will be privy to that information.
Krystal: And, you know, please, J.R., for Pete's sake, nothing confidential about your marriage, either. I mean, this goes for Babe, too. I'm going to tell her as soon as she comes home. If she wants to talk about you, then she's just going to have to understand that I'm going to have to share whatever that is with Adam.
J.R.: And you think that this will work?
Adam: Oh, yes, yes, we do. Can you live with that much honesty?
Erica: Oh, no -- Barbara. Not you.
J.R.: Can I speak with my father alone, please?
Adam: Not about your marriage, I hope.
J.R.: No, not about my marriage.
Krystal: I -- um -- enjoy your chat.
Adam: Oh. Well?
Adam: What is it you want to discuss?
J.R.: I think your new policy so, within the interest of full disclosure, I believe there's something my mother told me just before she died.
Janet: As I said, I thought that I was helping my daughter, protecting her, removing each and every obstacle from her having all happiness. How terribly sad that I killed Zach Slater's only child while helping mine. Ethan was so handsome, so promising. I will never forget his name.
Janet: Ethan's mother -- she must have loved him, and she would've been devastated by his death. Zach was with him when he died. How does she feel about Zach? Does she resent him or do you think that she could blame him for the death of her child?
[Zach, Tad, and Ryan still hang around the pump house waiting]
Kendall: Zach could be staring down a murderer right now. Ryan's in danger, Tad's in danger -- so am I, actually -- so we have much bigger problems than you misplacing your little Babe.
Josh: Well, thanks for nothing.
Kendall: He's crazy.
[Knock on door]
Kendall: Oh. What do you not get --
Man: This was left for you at the front desk, Mrs. Slater.
Kendall: Thank you.
[Kendall opens a note that says, "Leave him now or you die!"]
Babe: Thank you again, for everything.
Zoe: You want that picture framed, let me know.
Zoe: Let's give you some chili fries. I'll see you soon.
Max: Are you ready to go, Ms. Chandler?
Babe: Um -- yeah, I am. Thank you for coming on such short notice -- I really appreciate it. You want me to drive?
Max: I got it.
Babe: Probably a better idea. Everything that's going on, I'm such a mess right now. Oh.
Max: I'll get the door for you.
Babe: Thank you.
Max: Thanks for the job. The extra money really comes in handy.
Babe: It's my pleasure.
[After shutting the car door, Max is knocked unconscious and Babe runs to his side.]
Babe: Max? Max, where are -- oh, my God, no. No, no, no, Max. Max, please. You got to wake up. Please, Max. Oh, God.
[As Babe screams, the black-clad Satin Slayer grabs her, places one hand over her mouth, and injects her in the chest.]
Babe: Help me! Help me!
Babe: No, let me go! No, let me go! Somebody, help me! Help me, my God, help me!
>> On the next "All My Children" --
[The killer stews gardenia petals over Babe as she lies unconscious on the parking garage floor then flees when Zoe approaches.]
Ryan: Stop! Hey! You!
Tad (to J.R.): Babe is in the ER right now, and there's a good chance she's not going to make it.
Josh (to Zach): You should be in there dying, not Babe!
Doctor: Ok, clear.
[In the emergency room, the doctor applies defibrillator paddles to Babe's chest.]
