Di: I just came right over when I got your message. What's so important? Huh. Can we take this somewhere else?
Aidan: Di, this is important.
Tad: Um -- I realize you're not exactly my biggest fan right now, but if it's ok with you, I could really use your help.
Di: Oh, you want -- you want my help? Even though you just did your damnedest to put my sister maybe in prison for the rest of her life? Ok.
Aidan: Di, that is over. Dixie is free. Somebody else may be in trouble -- your friend, Annie McDermott.
Di: No, Annie is fine, Aidan. She had nothing to do with her husband's death.
Tad: And you know what? She's right -- this is just a waste of time.
Aidan: Tad, please, please just hold on. This is about Emma, Annie’s daughter.
Di: What? What happened? Is she ok?
Aidan: Yeah, she's fine. She may be your niece.
Di: My what?
Tad: Your niece. There is a -- a chance that Emma is Dixie’s daughter -- and mine.
Krystal: You know, this is ridiculous. I'm not an invalid.
Adam: Hospital policy.
Krystal: For patients! I'm just here for a checkup.
Adam: Yes, and a CVS test (chorionic villus sampling) to make sure the baby is all right, and I want you calm and relaxed, make sure everything goes perfectly.
Krystal: I don't want to do it. I don't want to have the test.
Julia: What are you doing here?
[While Jamie watches from the sidelines, Josh plants a big kiss on Julia.]
Babe: I'm sure your mom is really excited to see you and Miranda. So, are you back for good or are you just visiting?
Bianca: I don't know yet.
Babe: How is she -- Miranda? Is she as big as Little A? Because I swear, I get him dressed one day, and then the next day, he's bursting at the seams.
Bianca: Babe, I know. I -- I know about you and Josh. So, who are you screwing over? Your husband, my brother, or both?
J.R.: What the hell do you want?
David: Oh, just some alone time with my son-in-law -- you know, share a little, bond. Hey, who knows -- this could be the beginning of a whole new relationship.
J.R.: I don't have time for your BS. I have things to do.
David: I ran into your sister. According to her, you and Babe aren't exactly living the happily-ever-after. So what'd you do now to mess with her life?
J.R.: Colby's so full of it. Babe's never been happier.
David: You mean when she's with you or when she's with Josh Madden?
Adam: Dr. Lee thinks this test is wise as a precaution.
Krystal: Because I'm over 35, and the risk of defects and disorders is higher -- I know. Honey, I'm already crazy in love with this little nugget. I don't need to know if all the chromosomal I's are dotted and the T’s are crossed. I'm having this baby no matter what. And I love her or him no matter what. What about you? Are you going to love this baby, no matter what?
Adam: I'll -- I'll be right back.
[As waves crash, Jamie quickly leaves while Julia wipes her mouth with her hand.]
Julia: You selfish, arrogant SOB! Where do you get off --
Josh: Well, "arrogant" and "selfish" is the only way to fly.
Julia: Do you ever listen to yourself?
Josh: Well, when you play nice, you actually care, it all goes to hell.
Babe: I care about Josh. I would never want to hurt him.
Bianca: Colby's false charge was a pretty close call.
Babe: Yes, and J.R. called her on her lies, and the charge was dropped. Really, there's nothing more to tell.
Bianca: Babe, I -- I talked to Josh and Kendall. I know that you guys are having an affair.
Babe: Past tense. I ended it with Josh, and J.R. doesn’t know -- he'll never have to.
Bianca: You love J.R.?
Babe: Yes, and I want my marriage to work.
Bianca: So this thing with Josh was a time-out?
Babe: No, God! Josh and I, it -- it wasn't planned. It -- it just happened. He'd -- he had so much going on. He -- he found out that the man that he thought was his father had been killed. He found out who his biological parents were. He was going through a lot, and he needed someone. Only partway through did I realize that he was helping me cope with as much bad as I was helping him. He's open, and he's honest, and he talks to me, Bianca. He really talks and -- and he listens, and he's caring, and he's understanding, and he -- he tries to make whatever's wrong better. And he made almost everything better. I'm sorry.
Bianca: My God.
Babe: Oh, God.
Bianca: You're -- you're really in love with Josh.
J.R.: Babe and I are in love. Our marriage is solid. Josh realizes he can't have Babe, so every chance he gets, he stirs up trouble -- kind of like you.
David: You know, it's no trouble at all. I mean, I just want my daughter to be happy. And for some reason, the idea of her being married to a man that tried to kill her -- I don't know. It just doesn't sit well with me.
J.R.: Ok, you need to get a life. Stay out of ours.
David: Is that any way to talk to the man who tracked down your sister?
J.R.: You leave Colby alone.
David: I'm not talking about Colby. Dixie didn't tell you? I found your sister, Kate.
Tad: This is a copy of Emma’s birth certificate. Take a look at the attending physician.
Di: Greg Madden.
Tad: Right. The only problem is Annie swore to Ryan that she'd never even met him before.
Di: Yeah, ok, but Annie and -- and Terry are both listed here as the parents. That pretty much seals the deal, right?
Tad: No, no, not necessarily. Apparently, false documentation was, you know, part and parcel of the whole Madden adoption package. I'm sorry. It's just that Aidan and I have been hammering our heads against the wall trying to hack into the computer of the hospital where Emma was born, and so far we've come up with a big, fat nothing.
Aidan: And you and Annie are old friends, right? Did you ever go visit her at the hospital when the baby was born? And were you around her during her whole pregnancy?
Di: No. No, Emma was --
Di: At least a couple of months old before Annie and I reconnected.
Aidan: And was there any talk of adoption?
Aidan: Did Annie ever mention anything about fertility treatments?
Di: No! Oh -- you know what, though? Annie -- Annie did say something once about Terry not being Emma’s father. I think she was saying it just to keep Terry away from Emma. You know what, though? Annie is a very straightforward person. I know her. It's really, really hard to believe that she would have a deep, dark secret like this about Emma. It -- it sounds like another one of David’s scams.
Tad: You're right, absolutely. I agree, so you know what? We're wasting our time. We're right back to where we started, ok? Right where Hayward wants me -- desperately grasping at straws in a high wind, ready to take a -- fall. I can't, I can't. I'm sorry, Fish and Chips. I can't do this anymore. How much am I supposed to take? The fact is my daughter is gone, and I'm not going to get her back.
J.R.: You say the name "Kate" one more time, I'll make sure you'll never be able to pronounce it ever again.
David: Put away your threats, J.R. I'm being straight with you. When your mother came back to town, I promised her that I was going to help her find Kate. Remember the day you found me in Dixie’s room?
J.R.: No, I don't remember. I just have this bump on my head.
David: Hmm. Yeah, well, that was the day when it all came together. I was looking at those pictures collected from Madden’s files, and I hit big. There was a picture there that I remembered, a girl that I had seen somewhere before. Her name is Emma. I tracked her down a few miles from here.
J.R.: Pictures don't prove anything.
David: You're absolutely right. But DNA does, so I got Tad’s sample.
David: And the brilliant PI didn’t even have a clue. Well, I tested them, and they were a match.
J.R.: You and DNA? I think I'll sit this one out.
David: Hey, I don't care if you believe me or not. I committed to finding Kate for one person and one person only -- Dixie. And while Tad was out there trying to railroad her into prison for a crime she didn't commit, I was out there trying to find her daughter, and I found her. Kate is here, Dixie’s met her --
David: And it's all because of me.
J.R.: It's bull.
David: Hey, you don't believe it? That's fine. But you should've seen the look in Dixie’s eyes. You know, I hope someday soon they get to be together for good.
J.R.: Yeah, and David makes three.
David: I'll tell you what, J.R. --
David: Why don't you go to hell, but just leave Babe here, ok? Oh -- take Tad with you?
Jamie: Krystal, what's -- what's up?
Krystal: Oh. Adam stuck me in this thing and made me promise to stay.
Jamie: Well, are you all right?
Krystal: Well, other than my husband disappearing on me, I'm just peachy. Well, what -- what about you? Is it -- is it true? Is Kate back in the family?
Jamie: What, Kate’s been found?
Krystal: Oh --
Jamie: Krystal, what are you talking about?
Krystal: I'm -- I'm sorry. I thought you knew. You -- you probably should check with your daddy for the whole story.
Tad: So how much more is it going to take before I find my daughter, huh? And what if I do? What am I bringing her back to? A man's dead, marriages are destroyed, families torn apart -- like I'm some kind of prize? The fact is I'm no closer to finding Kate than I was when Dixie told me she was still alive. It's a joke. I don't know whether I should start cursing God or just pray harder, or am I -- am I just supposed to plod along for the rest of my life like it's some kind of hobby trying to find her? Maybe I'll get lucky? Maybe I should just be more realistic. Maybe I should just accept the fact that she's gone, and that's the way it's just supposed to be. Either way, hopefully I'd be able to get a decent night's sleep. I'm so tired of having the same dream over and over and over again. I just wake up screaming, you know? I mean, every single night, she's right there in front of me, and I -- I can't see her face, but she's right there, I can feel her. She's reaching out to me. She just says the same thing over and over and over again in my mind. It's "Don't let me go, Daddy. Just whatever you do, don't let me go." I --
Aidan: Hey, Di?
Aidan: Why don't you take off, and I'll --
Aidan: I'll give you a call a little bit later, yeah?
Tad: Hey, it was worth a shot. Look, Aidan, I -- God knows, all right? God knows I'm really grateful for all you've done, all you're willing to do, but the truth is that I had one shot, ok? There was one man that knew where she was, and I blew it, ok? He's dead because of me.
Aidan: You know, about five years ago, I headed up an operation in South America. And I came up with a great plan of attack -- in and out, middle of the night, never seen, foolproof. And then the heavens opened, lightning struck, and it lit up everyone like it was daylight. Four of my men, half my team, gunned down.
Tad: What's your point?
Aidan: When you plan an operation, you make the best decisions you can at that time. Not everything always goes as well as it does on paper.
Tad: They weren't my best decisions. They were so many things, so many choices, so many things that --
Aidan: Tad, you've got to accept it, all right? You've got to let it go, because if you -- if you don't, you can't move on. It's as simple as that. You're not alone in this, mate, ok? We will follow every lead, we will track every clue, and we won't stop until we find Kate.
Adam: For our daughter.
Krystal: Or son.
Krystal: Aren't you sweet. What, did you go all the way to Taiwan to get it?
Adam: No. When you asked me if I would love our child no matter what, no matter what, I -- I didn't know how to respond.
Krystal: Wow. You without an answer -- doesn't happen very often.
Adam: Hmm. So I -- I took a walk, and I thought about Stuart. When I was a boy, I resented the fact that my brother was special. Stuart was different. All the kids laughed at him, and I was embarrassed and ashamed. I just wanted him to be like all the other kids, but I finally figured out what makes Stuart special -- it's the way he sees the world and the people in it. I swear he can see right straight into another man's heart. And he cannot tell a lie. He's -- he's an original, he's pure. He is loving. And he's given me so much, he's saved me so many times. He's also taught me what little I knew about love, till you came along. I'm not the only one that Stuart has helped. I -- I think the world would be a sadder, lonelier, poorer place if it weren't for Stuart. If our child is special, I will love her -- or him -- with all my heart.
Krystal: God, I didn't think I could love you any more than I already do. Oh! Honey, we're squishing the puppy.
[Adam and Krystal laugh]
Adam: Yeah. I think, um -- you know, I think I'll go and see what's keeping Dr. Lee.
David: Wow. Big Daddy Chandler looks proud enough to bust a gut.
David: So how's Tad feel about the happy news?
J.R.: What the hell's going on with Hayward? Bragging that he found Kate?
Tad: That's just something we're checking out.
J.R.: And you bought Hayward’s lies? Did you try to convince Mom it was true? Hasn't she already been through enough?
Babe: I love J.R. I do. But I also love Josh. I tried not to. I -- I swore to myself that I would keep it just friends. I'd keep it in this nice, neat little box. But after a while, I couldn't fight it anymore.
Bianca: And -- and this is while you were trying to make your marriage work with J.R.?
Babe: "Trying." J.R. swore that he loved me and he wanted to get our marriage back on track.
Bianca: Well, that's a little hard to do after he tried to kill you.
Babe: Yeah. We had some big problems. But I wanted our marriage to work as much as J.R. did, but the problem was, was every time that I would reach out, he would close off even more, and there was Josh. He was always right there, and we were both alone, and I needed someone, and we helped each other. Oh, God. I messed up. I messed up so bad. I -- I shouldn't have let it go as far as I did. I should've stopped it, and now I have lied to J.R., and I've hurt Josh, and I've -- I've made a mess of everything.
Josh: Love is for losers. Messes with your head, ties you down.
Julia: Oh. All men hate to be tied down, right?
Josh: Unless you have some scarves in your car.
Julia: You're disgusting.
Josh: I'm free.
Julia: I'm leaving.
Josh: I'm just trying to enlighten you.
Julia: I'm going to take love lessons from you?
Josh: You're the one moping out here all by yourself. Is there a reason for that?
Julia: Oh, this is not about Jamie. I just came out here to swim, clear my head.
Josh: Right. Well, maybe I should test the waters. Swimming with sharks sure beats being stupid, letting one woman get to me.
Julia: Too hard to remember her name?
Josh: Too hard to forget.
Julia: Hey. That night at ConFusion -- you talked about being involved. Did I hear the L word?
Josh: No --
Julia: Oh, I think I might have. You can't be serious. Does Josh Madden actually love someone, other than his own reflection?
Josh: Forget it!
Julia: Who is she?
Babe: Thanks. Josh, he's -- he's totally open with me, what he thinks, what he feels. He just -- he lays it out there.
Bianca: Yeah, you're telling me. We've been family for, like, two seconds, and he already told me everything that he feels about you. He loves you. He wants to have a future with you. And you love him, and yet, you have committed yourself to a life with J.R., the man who tried to kill you.
Babe: J.R. has made tons of mistakes. But so have I. Who knows that better than you? I lied to him and told him that our son had died. I ran off with his brother, and then I tell him I want to save our marriage, and then I cheat on him -- again. Neither one of us is going to be winning the Spouse of the Year award.
Bianca: J.R. is on his best behavior right now, but you don't know when that's going to change.
Babe: But he has changed.
Bianca: Oh, come -- Babe, how many times have you heard that?
Babe: I know, but this time I'm actually starting to see it. When J.R. found out that Colby was lying about Josh having sex with her -- look, the old J.R., he would've just sat on it. He would've let Josh take the fall to get him away from me, but he didn't do that. He stepped it up, and he did the right thing.
Bianca: This time.
Babe: And I'm confident that there are going to be more times. Not too long ago, J.R. and I were really happy -- right before Dixie got back -- and I'm not just talking pretty sunsets happy. I'm talking real deep, connected happiness. I know that that I've messed up, but I'm back on track now, and I know what I want.
Bianca: A life with J.R.
Babe: When J.R. is good, he's wonderful. And when he lets himself love, you almost feel cherished.
J.R.: You've had it in for Mom since the first day that she got back. You've disrespected her every chance you've got, but it wasn't enough for you to humiliate her -- you had to lie. You had to frame her for murder, try to get her put into prison, but it didn't work. So what now? You going to break her heart all over again? Try to get her to believe Hayward? The guy who's never told the truth in his entire life? Maybe get her hopes up that -- that Kate is alive right here in Pine Valley?
Jamie: Shut the hell up, J.R.! The only reason Dixie isn't in prison is my dad.
J.R.: Oh, yeah? What drugs are you on?
Jamie: Come on, connect the dots. My dad was the star witness against Dixie, the one the prosecution was counting on.
J.R.: Yeah, until he had a meltdown on the stand, and let's not forget -- you're the one that found that surveillance tape!
Aidan: Hmm. Exactly, and how do you think Jamie found that tape? And the timing -- you know, they don't make coincidences like that.
J.R.: Oh, my God.
Babe: J.R. and I have been to hell and back, and it's not always pretty, but it is real. Our marriage has survived everything that we've put it through. And I'm not willing to give up on that or J.R.
Bianca: But somewhere in this picture is Josh.
Babe: Yes. But it doesn't even compare. What I have with Josh, it's -- it was sweet and exciting. It was shiny and new, but I am committed to my husband and my family, and no matter what problems or risks, our marriage is worth saving. If I left J.R., shredded everything that we have worked so hard to rebuild, it would kill him. There's no way that I could start a new life with Josh knowing that I had wrecked J.R.’s.
Josh: Leave it alone, Julia.
Julia: Oh! Now, don't hold out on me. Come on, give, spill. Who is this Wonder Woman that snagged the heart of the biggest, baddest dog in town? Oh, she must really be something or totally desperate or an idiot.
Josh: Shut up.
Julia: Oh! Definitely the big L! Who is she? Who is this woman that you love?
Josh: Doesn't matter, because it's over.
Julia: No, it's not.
Babe: It's over with Josh. I won't leave J.R.
Bianca: You're staying with J.R., so that you don't destroy him? Well, what if your choice destroys my brother?
Babe: I wish to God that I hadn't hurt your brother. But he'll deal. He'll be ok. I mean, this is the guy that we're talking about. He finds out that the man he thought was his father created him as this homegrown experiment. Anyone else would've been in pieces. I mean, shoot, he even crashed a plane and survived that. It's the Kane survival genes -- he's got them in spades. He's going to be fine.
Bianca: Oh. When you say it, I -- I actually believe it. He really crashed a plane?
Babe: Oh, and then drags me to shore, checks me for bruises, broken bones, builds a fire, and then kisses me under the stars.
Bianca: Tell me more about my brother.
Josh: We're done. There's no going back.
Julia: So she ended it?
Josh: What's the life span of a sand crab?
Julia: Huh. Well, it may be over for your mystery woman, but it's definitely not over for you. Who knew you had a heart to break?
Josh: Nothing's broken. I'm not bleeding, I'm fine.
Julia: Huh. You're a puddle.
Josh: You're projecting. You're still sucking bigtime over Martin.
Julia: Oh, I ended that.
Josh: Oh, right. So you didn't mind seeing him with that hot piece of blonde?
Julia: I hardly think about Jamie anymore.
Julia: I don't really care where he goes or who he sees.
Josh: Well, that's good to know.
Julia: Yeah, totally moved on.
Josh: Well, she may be more age-appropriate, but there's no way she could rock his world like you did.
Julia: I swear if you don't shut up --
Josh: What, are you going to rock my world?
Tad: I hated keeping you in the dark. I didn't want to do it. I just didn't have a choice. The fact is I couldn't risk too many people knowing about it.
J.R.: And you were both in on it?
Aidan: I called in a favor, and I got the fake security video.
Jamie: Yeah, the one I found.
J.R.: It's a hell of a team effort. I'm sorry, I should've known that you'd never do anything to hurt Mom.
Tad: No, I'm sorry. I am. But I needed you angry -- the angrier, the better. It made the situation genuine. I mean, if my own children hated me, couldn't believe in me, it was that much easier for a judge and jury to feel the same way.
J.R.: Don't -- don't thank me for being a jackass. Well, we know who didn't kill Greg Madden. Do we know who did?
Jamie: Forget about Madden. I want to know more about Kate. Is this little kid Emma really our sister, or is this just another sick joke by David Hayward?
Aidan: David snapped a couple of pictures and produced some DNA results.
Tad: Yeah. Listen, we got one more lead to follow up on. I think this conversation's gone far enough.
J.R.: Is the person who killed Greg Madden who I think it is?
[Jamie silently nods at his brother.]
Krystal: Tad doesn't know I'm pregnant.
David: You two are so close. I'm surprised you haven't gotten around to telling him.
Krystal: Well, we're keeping this news within the family right now.
David: Well, Tad’s family, practically. I'll tell you what -- why don't I give him a call right now, tell him the happy news?
Krystal: What is with you?
David: Hayward, get away from her. The last thing she needs is your slathery charm.
David: I was just asking about the baby -- so many questions.
Adam: Get out of here before I call security.
Dr. Lee: Mr. Chandler, sorry to keep you waiting. The Morrison twins decided to make an early appearance.
Adam: Isn't there somewhere you have to be?
David: You make sure you take care of that little bundle of joy, huh?
Dr. Lee: Did you read the additional material I gave you on the CVS test after we met?
Krystal: I did.
Dr. Lee: Are you ready?
Krystal: No. No, there's -- there's no point. I mean, test or no test, this baby is going to be born and loved, so I choose no test.
Adam: Well, you heard the lady. No test for Baby Chandler.
Dr. Lee: It's your choice, Mrs. Chandler, but I strongly recommend you undergo this procedure.
Krystal: Well, you think there's a problem?
Dr. Lee: Well, chances are your child is perfectly healthy. But on the off chance there is a problem, we'd be prepared. The more information we have, the better for you and your child. Some disorders such as congenital adrenal hyperplasia can be treated immediately with medication. We could even perform surgery in utero, if necessary.
Krystal: Could you give us a minute, please?
Dr. Lee: Of course.
Krystal: Am I being selfish? I mean, I nix this test to prove something to myself, and then the baby is born with some kind of problem that can be solved now? I -- I'd never forgive myself.
Adam: It's your decision, Krystal. Whatever you feel is right for you and our baby is right for me.
Krystal: Dr. Lee? I'm ready. Let's do this test.
Babe: Ok, just put it this way -- so we needed a big name for our teen line? Josh makes a call, seat-of-our-pants meeting -- a few gel shots later, we landed Zarf.
Bianca: The shots were Josh's idea?
Babe: Oh, no, no, no -- all Zarf's, and we all had way too many, me -- me, especially.
Babe: And I couldn't make it home, so Josh -- he takes care of me, and he even orders me banana pancakes. Look, I know that he comes off totally cocky, but he --
Bianca: Yeah, that's the version I know best.
Babe: Once you get past that edge, it is pure gold. I mean, he won't even just say that he cares -- he'll show it, like -- oh, ok! He installed this computer backup system thing? I never asked for it, I didn't even know that I needed it, but he saved me for the zillionth time.
Bianca: He also almost got you killed.
Babe: Oh --
Bianca: That plane crash -- you're -- you are lucky to be alive!
Babe: I know, tell me about it. I thought that our bones would be found on that beach in, like, 2000-never. But he wasn't even fazed, not even one tiny bit. If they found us, great. If they didn't, he was ready to build us a house from scratch right down to the hot tub.
Bianca: You make it sound like this was some kind of adventure instead of a life-or-death situation.
Babe: That is Josh -- that's what I'm trying to tell you! He is passionate about everything he does and everything that he wants.
Bianca: Including you.
Julia: What? She's a jerk!
Josh: Will you lay off her?
Julia: You always used to call Jamie a jerk.
Josh: Well, that's because he is a jerk.
Julia: Why are you defending her? She booted you out of her life.
Josh: She has her reasons.
Julia: And you don't agree with them?
Josh: It's what she needs to do. I accept that.
Julia: Oh. Ok. Then you're just going to be fine by next week.
Julia: Totally over it, back to trolling. Everything is fine, back to normal -- oh! Better than ever! Yep. Totally moved on. Forget all about her.
Josh: That's not the way it works, is it?
Julia: You're going to be miserable.
Josh: For how long?
Julia: I don't know.
Babe: Josh will get over me. He hurts now, but he'll be fine. He'll find someone else.
Bianca: Will you be fine? I mean, living your life with J.R. and working on your marriage and loving your family? Will you be able to forget about Josh? Not think about him all the time and wonder "what if"?
Babe: Josh is tough, but he'll need someone to talk to. You know it'd be really great if you could stick around for a while, get to know him.
Bianca: Josh has a lot of people who care about him.
Babe: Erica and Kendall? I'm not saying that they don't care about him, but do you think he can really talk to them about this, about me, of all people?
Bianca: There's Jeff.
Babe: Yes. But he needs someone that -- that he can trust, someone that he can talk to, someone that will listen and understand. Josh is going to need you, Bianca. Please be there for him.
J.R.: All this time I was slamming on Tad, all he was trying to do was protect Kate and Mom by going extreme -- way too extreme. You worried about him?
Jamie: It's hard not to be. That's a lot to handle by yourself. Well, that's why I'm staying close.
J.R.: We both will.
Tad: I'd like to talk to you for a minute.
David: What about?
Tad: The DNA test you ran linking me to Emma.
David: What, you believe me now?
Tad: Hardly. I just want you to hand over whatever part of Emma’s sample you have left.
David: Well, I'd love to, really, but I don't have any left.
Tad: Don't jerk me around, David.
David: I used it all. Sorry.
Tad: I swear, if you're lying to me, I'll make you --
David: I am not lying about Kate.
David: Hey, why don't you stick around? Krystal should be out any minute.
Tad: What's wrong with her?
David: Oh, no, nothing, nothing, nothing but good news. It's a routine checkup. Krystal's pregnant. Isn't that great?
>> On the next "All My Children" --
Guard (to Erica, about Zach): This guy causing trouble?
Jonathan (to Ryan): You don't get to say what does and doesn't happen to Annie anymore.
Kendall (to Babe): You're as dumb as a box of rocks.
Babe (to Kendall): I think I hate you.
Josh (to Bianca): A clever man could use this to smash J.R. Chandler to oblivion, and I'm a very clever man.
