[After Kendall enters Zach’s office, he leaves his desk and faces her.]

Ryan: Annie? Emma? Where's my little Princess Emma?

Tad: Considering the deafening silence, I'll bet you cash money you're not going to find a farewell note.

Ryan: Tad, just because they're not home right now doesn't mean --

Tad: It means they're gone. It means that Annie’s scared to death she was going to lose Emma, so she packed up, and she ditched Pine Valley. Thank you. Way to get to the bottom of things. If Emma is my daughter, it means I've lost her all over again because of you.

Colby: My signature -- "Colby Chandler" -- as in the daughter of Adam Chandler? Chandler Enterprises? Hello? My father owns this town, which includes you. So why don't you just take this check back and start me a tab. Do you have a death wish? Come on, hop to, peon.

David: Maybe I can help.

Babe: I prayed that you would see through Colby’s lie, but tricking her into admitting that she never even slept with Josh is pure genius. Look, I know that you were tempted to keep this to yourself and let Josh go down, and I also know that the only reason you didn't is because of me. So thank you.

J.R.: What can I say? I love you more than I hate Josh.

Adam: Uh -- let's not break out the champagne just yet. This shocking denouement may clear Josh Madden’s name. But it smears Colby’s to discomforting proportions.

Krystal: All that child needs is a little strong-handed guidance from her daddy, and she'll fall in line soon enough.

Adam: Hmm.

Krystal: Uh -- if you don't mind, I -- I'd like to talk to Babe. Excuse us?

Adam: What, are you giving us the boot?

Krystal: Well, don't take it personally. I just -- I don't think you two have enough estrogen for this conversation.

Babe: Mm-hmm.

J.R.: [Southern accent] Well, come on, Dad. Let's go talk about hunting buffalo --

Babe: Oh, God.

J.R.: Let the women talk about hormones and nursing brassieres.

Krystal: You got it, cowboy.

[Krystal and Babe chuckle]

[Krystal sighs]

Krystal: So how big of a bullet did you just dodge?

Babe: Major. Marriage-ending. I -- I was about to spill everything to get Josh off the hook. And if J.R. hadn’t figured out everything about Colby lying, I would've copped to it all.

Krystal: Well, you just thank your lucky stars that he did. Now you don't have to tell J.R. that you -- slept with Josh. Unless -- you're planning on telling him anyway?

Erica: Jeff? Jeff, Babe Chandler is single-handedly destroying our son's life.

Jeff: Maybe you better come inside.

Erica: Thank you.

Jeff: Now, what specifically prompted tonight's round of Babe-bashing, or is this more of the same?

Erica: Well, the statutory rape charges against Josh -- they have been -- they have been dropped.

Jeff: That's great.

Erica: But Josh wasn't smiling when he heard this. Josh has already left. He hightailed it over to the Chandlers' to -- to have it out with J.R. I mean, Jeff, you've got to help me.

J.R.: Look, I would love to get rid of Josh Madden from Pine Valley permanently. But -- but lying to make it happen, risk losing my wife, my marriage, my son, just so that washout could get behind bars? No, I don't think it's worth it.

Adam: Son, don't you realize what you're doing? You're giving that clown an all-clear to continue his public pursuit of your wife.

J.R.: Josh Madden able to walk on Colby’s bogus charges does not give him a free pass to Babe.

[Knock on door]

J.R.: You got what you wanted, Madden. What the hell are you after now?

Josh: You know.

Kendall: The divorce papers -- you signed them.

Zach: Did you file them?

Kendall: Do you want me to?

Zach: You know what I want. Please. Don't leave. I know you didn't come all the way over here to tell me that you got the papers.

Kendall: I'm not sure why I came.

Zach: Yes, you are. You want to ask me something, you want to say something. You got my complete attention, 100%. So go ahead and say it, get it over with.

Erica: Josh was with Kendall and Bianca. In fact, all three of my children in the same room together -- I mean, that just took my breath away.

Jeff: I can imagine.

Erica: And I left wanting more. I want much, much more.

Jeff: Well, we're making great strides with Josh. There's the very real possibility that you may get your wish before too long.

Erica: Oh, I hope so. But it won't happen if Josh gets himself thrown into jail or worse, tangling with J.R. I mean, J.R. has this whole history of -- of violent action. I mean -- look, why are we talking about this now? Let -- let's go into the car. I can explain on the way --

Jeff: Wait, wait, wait, I thought you -- I thought you had a launch party to plan.

Erica: You expect me to work when our son needs us?

Jeff: No, isn't that why you checked into this hotel, so you can focus on "New Beginnings"?

Erica: Look, I desperately want to focus all my energies on my sweeps launch party. But I do believe that if Josh gets involved with Babe, I mean, he's going to be in grave danger.

Jeff: Please, Erica, there is nothing wrong with Babe. She's a sweet young woman, and it just so happens that our son is head-over-heels crazy for her. If he wants to be with her, I say let him. I almost told him as much the other night.

Erica: Are you crazy?

Jeff: Probably, but not about this.

Erica: You actually encouraged this disaster? Well, you know what? Ok, that's on your head. But I -- I am not going to stand by and watch my son's entire life go down the drain. I'm going to take care of it myself.

Jeff: No, Erica --

Erica: Hey --

Jeff: Please, you're not going anywhere.

Josh: Where is she?

J.R.: You're not going anywhere near her.

Josh: Like hell. I want to see her for myself.

Adam: Over my dead body.

Josh: I have to talk to her.

J.R.: Isn't it enough that she already admitted the truth? That's right, we all know what happened. You win. Now, you can gloat all you want at me, but I'm not letting you come anywhere near her ever again.

Josh: What are you going to do, keep her locked up in the house the rest of her life?

Adam: You're not welcome here. Get out of my house.

Josh: Like hell! I -- I need to speak to her! Thank God, Babe. Are you ok? J.R. didn’t hurt you, did he?

J.R.: Me hurt Babe? Why would I do that?

Josh: For telling the truth.

[Music plays]

David: It's all right, Billie, I'll take care of the young lady's check, thank you.

Colby: Uh -- no, he won’t.

Singer: ¯ Any which way ¯

Colby: I like 'em young, but nice try.

David: I'm not coming on to you, Colby.

Colby: How do you know my name?

David: Dr. David Hayward. Not only did I deliver you, but we're practically related.

Singer: ¯ I just wanna ¯

Babe: You shouldn't be railing on J.R., you should be thanking him. I'm not the reason that you're out of the hot seat. J.R. is. He found out that Colby was lying, and he even got her to admit it to him. And he could've kept the truth to himself and let you take the rap anyway, but he didn’t. J.R. stepped up in a major way.

Krystal: Adam contacted Chief Frye and told him that Colby retracted her story, so the charges against you have been dropped.

Josh: I heard.

Babe: You're free, Josh.

Adam: Just a second. When you arrived at the door and demanded to see "her," we assumed you were looking for Colby. It was Babe you were looking for, wasn't it?

Josh: Yes.

J.R.: Give it up, Madden. My wife has zero interest in you. And now with Colby’s charges off the table, you can't play the sympathy card with my wife anymore. So any chance you thought to make a move on my wife died tonight. Deal with it.

Josh: Well, thanks for playing whatever part you did in clearing my name.

Adam: Rather ungrateful for a man who just got his life handed back to him, wouldn't you say?

J.R.: The charges may have been dropped, but he still came out a loser. He'll never have my wife.

Kendall: This is ridiculous. I -- I don't even know what I'm doing here. I have -- I have nothing to say to you. I -- I was even thinking on the car ride on my way here to myself, "Why am I doing this?"

Zach: What did you come up with?

Kendall: Nothing.

Zach: May I try, please?

Kendall: I know that you're dying to, so go ahead, tell me. Why am I here?

Zach: Because you belong with me.

Kendall: How could I?

Zach: That's what I'm waiting to hear.

Tad: So, let me guess. Annie has disappeared along with her things, and Emma is MIA, which means you've been completely snowed.

Ryan: Look, Tad, I understand that this doesn't look very good from your perspective, ok? But you don't know Annie, and I do. I know her a little bit. I know what she's like under pressure, ok, and I learned to sense when she's lying. She told me that she gave birth to Emma, I believe her.

Tad: Yeah, yeah, and you also believed her when she told you she had never met Greg Madden. But you saw the birth certificate, ok? Emma's birth certificate has his name as attending physician right there in black and white. So how do you think Annie’s going to explain that, as an oversight?

Ryan: You realize what you're doing, don't you? I mean, you're buying into Hayward’s claim that this is your kid when you know as well as I do -- you know, Tad, that this is -- this is a serious long shot.

Tad: Yeah. I used to think so -- until I saw that birth certificate and found this place deserted. Like it or not, by disappearing with that kid, Annie has just given a boatload of credence to Hayward’s claim.

David: Nope. There never was a Mrs. Krystal Hayward.

Colby: So what did you do, date her long enough to knock her up, or was Babe a one-night-stand creation?

David: Krystal and I were together long enough to create a beautiful daughter, then we went our separate ways. I didn't even know Babe existed until recently.

Colby: Yeah, that's typical Krystal -- totally selfish, manipulative.

David: Not a big fan of your stepmother's, huh?

Colby: Yeah, don't even use the word "stepmother." Krystal's nothing more than a trailer-park wannabe after my dad's cash, and Babe is just as bad -- worse maybe.

David: Yeah, well, for reasons I can't understand, my daughter seems to genuinely love your brother.

Colby: Yeah, that shows how much you know. You obviously need to get up to speed on what kind of person your daughter is, Dr. Hayward.

David: Meaning?

Colby: Meaning Babe is no angel, not even close. And if you were any kind of father, you'd drag her out of our house, away from J.R. ASAP, and take raunchy "Mama" along for the ride.

Kendall: You're going to be waiting a very long time if you want me to tell you that I belong with you. I don't. I can't.

Zach: It's my mistake.

Kendall: I'm not into your kind of dark.

Zach: You shouldn't be.

Kendall: I mean, me belonging with -- with someone as cold-hearted as you?

Zach: Doesn't make sense.

Kendall: I'm no angel. But you -- you are -- you're merciless and cruel and unpitying, unforgiving. And -- and your morals -- in the toilet.

Zach: Don't have any, never did, never will.

Kendall: Yeah, so how can you even suggest that I belong with you? That's -- it's a joke.

Zach: It's crazy.

Kendall: It's ridiculous.

Zach: So this is it, then? This is our good-bye?

Tad: Come on, Ryan, admit it. If I came along and accused Spike of not being your son, would you pack up and leave town? No. You would come up with any proof you had to to squelch the rumor. So why did Annie take off?

Ryan: Hey, how many different ways do I have to say this, Tad? You don't know for sure that Annie left Pine Valley, ok?

Tad: How blind do you want to get? Look around. Do you see any "I've gone to the store" notes? Anything saying "I'll be back soon, I've gone out for a bite"?

Ryan: So you're just going to string her up, Tad? I mean, come on. You have no proof.

Tad: If that's true, it's because Annie made sure of it by disappearing, and you know it!

Jonathan: Well, if Annie did take off, I would talk to David Hayward. He came in here talking about some DNA test that supposedly proves that Emma is your daughter, Tad. Yours and Dixie’s.

David: You just rattled off a long list of insults describing my daughter. You still haven't told me what she did that was so terrible to you.

Colby: She's a user. She obviously married my brother for the money, because she sure can't love him. And I see what she does when J.R.’s not looking. It's so embarrassing that he could even trust her.

[David chuckles]

David: I think you have it a little backwards, Colby. J.R. is the one that can't be trusted.

Colby: Really?

David: Mm-hmm.

Colby: Even though Babe’s getting it on with another guy?

Josh: I had a feeling you'd come here.

Babe: I had to talk to you, make sure you're all right.

Josh: So is this how it's going to be from now on? Secret meetings? Phony excuses to leave the house? Because if that's the way it's going to be, if that's what you came here to tell me, I'll deal with it. I'll take as much of you as I can get, however I can get it, Babe. But will it be enough for you?

Kendall: I hate that word -- "good-bye." It's so final.

Zach: I thought final was what you were after.

Kendall: Yeah, you'd think so. But there is this really annoying habit that I just can't seem to shake -- I love you. I have tried my damnedest to make it go away, but nothing will. I mean, blackouts, phony alibis, this really scary dark side that you have. And yet, I'm still here, crazy in love with you. I can't live without you, Zach. I don't want to. And if I can, don't tell me. Unless you -- do you still love me?

[As "Far Away" by Nickelback plays, Zach kisses Kendall then takes her to bed.]

¯ This time, This place
Misused, Mistakes
Too long, Too late
Who was I to make you wait
Just one chance
Just one breath
Just in case there's just one left
'Cause you know,
you know, you know ¯

¯ That I love you
I have loved you all along
And I miss you
Been far away for far too long
I keep dreaming you'll be with me
and you'll never go
Stop breathing if
I don't see you anymore ¯

¯ On my knees, I'll ask
Last chance for one last dance
'Cause with you, I'd withstand
All of hell to hold your hand ¯

¯ I'd give it all
I'd give for us
Give anything, but I won't give up
'Cause you know,
you know, you know ¯

¯ So far away
So far away
Been far away for far too long
So far away
So far away
Been far away for far too long
But you know, you know, you know ¯

¯ I wanted
I wanted you to stay
'Cause I needed
I need to hear you say ¯

¯ I love you
I have loved you all along
And I forgive you
For being away for far too long ¯

¯ So keep breathing
'Cause I'm not leaving you anymore
Believe it
Hold on to me and, never let me go ¯

¯ Keep breathing
'Cause I'm not leaving you anymore
Believe it
Hold on to me and, never let me go
Keep breathing
Hold on to me and, never let me go
Keep breathing
Hold on to me and, never let me go ¯

Erica: Jeff, let me go. I mean, you -- you may not think that it's important that we save Josh, but I do.

Jeff: Erica, Josh can handle the Chandlers without our help.

Erica: You obviously don't know the Chandlers.

Jeff: Look, would you please listen to me? If we go butting into Josh's private life, there's a chance he's only going to end up resenting us.

Erica: Or he may be very grateful. But he knows we care enough that we want to help him.

Jeff: Josh is not a child. He knows who he's dealing with. Josh can handle J.R. on his own.

Erica: So are you -- you holding me captive?

Jeff: No. But I am not moving until I know for sure that you're not going to blow out of here and go and rescue our son.

Erica: Oh, I have no intention of leaving, because I haven't finished with you yet. In fact, I haven't even started.

Josh: Are you avoiding my question, because you don't have an answer, or because you don't think I want to hear it?

Babe: J.R. -- J.R. has given me everything that I've wanted, everything that I've asked for, practically overnight. He -- he went from being closed off and unreliable to open and honest, trusting, and trustworthy.

Josh: Babe, I wouldn't go fitting him for halos just yet. He's still the same J.R.

Babe: You're right, he is, in some ways, yes. He still wants you out of the picture and out of my life. And Colby handed him this perfect opportunity on a silver platter. But instead of taking it and running with it, he threw it back in her face. He did it, because he -- he's trying to be a better person, and he loves me. And he put –

[Josh grabs Babe’s face and kisses her.]

J.R.: Josh wants my wife. I mean, how many times do you have to remind me of every gory little detail?

Adam: It doesn't seem to be making an impact.

J.R.: I trust Babe.

Adam: Well, I don't trust Josh. It's a grave mistake you made, my friend, giving that man a get-out-of-jail-free card. The only safe place for an operator like that is behind bars.

Josh: Don't try to tell me this has to stop, because J.R. told the truth for once. Don't say this is over, because your wacked-out husband figured out how to play nice for a change, Babe. People don't turn around like that overnight. He's not suddenly the perfect husband. It doesn't work that way.

J.R.: Babe has -- has changed me. She makes me -- she makes me feel like a better person. I -- I love her so much, Dad. I can't lie to her to get my way anymore. I've done it so many times in the past, and it's blown up in my face every single time.

Adam: Yeah, well, the next time it happens, you know what? Josh will be right there waiting in the wings, ready to pounce. Ready to -- why can't you see that?

J.R.: Because of Babe! She's given me more chances than I deserve. Now I want to give her what she deserves -- trust and honesty.

Adam: For God -- have you gone insane? You're a Chandler! If Krystal had a man chasing after her, I would hound him into the bowels of hell.

Josh: I am not going anywhere.

Babe: You have to, Josh. What we're doing is wrong. I'm -- I'm married, completely in love with my husband.

Josh: You said you love me. That's what you said, I felt it. I feel it right now.

Babe: Please, you have to let this go, Josh.

Josh: Babe, when I found out the charges against me were dropped, I thought you told J.R. about us.

Babe: I almost did, but he stepped up, admitted that he knew the truth.

Josh: But not about us. And when I thought he -- he knew, I -- I finally thought we could be together, Babe. I finally got a glimpse of how happy we could be.

J.R.: Babe makes me happy. If she didn't love me as much as I loved her, she wouldn't stick around. I know that. So it doesn't matter if Josh is behind bars, it doesn't matter where he is. He doesn't stand a chance with my wife.

Adam: Oh --

J.R.: What?

Adam: The killer instinct -- where is it?

Babe: I love J.R., and you can tell yourself that it isn't true. You can try to tune me out, try to make me see him differently and feel differently, but I do know what's in my heart. I have known J.R. for a really long time, longer than I've known you, and what he's -- what he's giving me right now is -- it's real. And it's honest and it's beautiful. He's -- he's turning back into the man that -- that I fell in love with, the man that I've always asked him to be, and I love him even more because of it, and I -- I won't make a fool of him.

Josh: Babe, whatever you think J.R. can give you, I can give you so much more. Don't -- don't turn your back on us. Don't walk away from me. Don't walk away from this.

[On Fusion’s roof terrace, Josh kisses Babe again.]

J.R.: Babe is 100% committed to me, to my family, to my son. She has forgiven the unforgivable. She's looked past all the ugly that I've unloaded between us. I'm not going to make her look like a fool by sending a friend of hers to prison for a crime that Colby invented.

Colby: J.R. actually believes Babe when she says she isn't sleeping with Josh. How pathetic is that? You know, her and Josh should be locked away for playing my brother.

David: What makes you think Josh and Babe are having a fling?

Colby: I don't think, I know. I heard it from the horse's mouth. Babe told Krystal all about the hookup. I heard everything. So now do you understand why I hate your daughter? She's totally playing J.R. for a major sucker.

Babe: No. No more, Josh. I love J.R., and we -- we can't do this ever again.

[Music plays]

Colby: Babe and Josh will probably never get what's coming to them. Now, I tried to tell J.R. that his wife was a cheating ho, but he didn't listen. Nobody ever believes anything I say. I swear, for a house filled with so many secrets, you'd think at least one of them would explode.

David: Really? Who else has secrets?

Colby: Well, Krystal’s sitting on a whopper. I don't know the details, but I know it has something to do with Tad.

David: Martin is involved?

Colby: Yes. I heard her yelling at him, saying that nobody could find out. And she also said, "Dixie better not tell," so I guess she's in on it, too? I don't know, maybe that's who I should be talking to. Obviously, you're not going to help me get rid of the Carey virus. So maybe I could get Dixie to blow Babe and her pregnant mom out of my daddy's pad.

Singer: ¯ I wanna go back down ¯

David: Krystal is pregnant?

Jonathan: I have no idea where Annie is, ok? But, also, I don't blame her for wanting to run. How can Hayward begin to suggest that Emma isn't hers?

Ryan: He didn't grab it out of thin air, Jonathan, trust me.

Jonathan: You don't believe him, do you?

Ryan: No, I don't believe him. I'm 100% on Annie’s side. I believe 100% that Emma is hers. It's just -- it's just that Tad has reason to be suspicious. I mean, Annie is hiding something.

Jonathan: Why? Because she ran?

Ryan: No. Because she told me she never met Greg Madden, and his name happened to come up as Emma’s attending physician at her birth. Now, I realize it doesn't necessarily mean that she's Kate, but I know Tad and Dixie, and I know they're going to do everything they can to find their daughter, which means they're going to do everything they can to find Emma and Annie. And I just want to find them first.

Singer: ¯ I can climb the highest mountain ¯

Tad: Hayward, guess what?

Singer: ¯ I can sail the seven seas ¯

Tad: From now on, you're going to stay away from Dixie.

Singer: ¯ I found the light ¯

Tad: You're going to stay away from Annie McDermott and Emma. You're going to stay away from Ryan. You're basically going to stay away from anybody I've ever met.

David: You don't look so good, Tad. Why don't you have a cheese fry.

Tad: Just so you know -- by cornering Annie, you scared her, chased her off.

David: Hmm.

Tad: Now, thanks to you, we're never going to find out the truth about Emma.

David: Just so you know, Dixie would be holding that little girl in her arms at this very moment if you hadn't stuck your size 17s where they didn't belong. My whole plan to reunite Dixie with her daughter went up in smoke the second you got involved.

Singers: ¯ It was the perfect match ¯

Tad: Stay out of my life, David.

Singers: ¯ The perfect match too light on my own. The perfect match I never thought I'd see. The perfect match for me ¯

J.R.: It's not like you to ring the bell. I was sure you had a key made by now.

Derek: I ought to. Lord knows there's enough criminals living under this roof.

Adam: What is it, Chief Frye? I thought we'd handled everything over the phone.

Derek: We didn't even come close, Adam. Where's Colby?

Adam: Well, she's unavailable. Is there something we can do for you?

Derek: Your daughter made a false statement to the police. She's in serious trouble.

J.R.: Oh, that's a closed case. Josh stopped by, was happy that Colby dropped the charges. Colby realizes that she made a mistake, and everybody's cool.

Derek: I'm not cool. Your sister broke the law again -- the yacht crash, the underage drinking, the --

Adam: Well, she's -- she's disoriented. Um -- the doctors call it "Posttraumatic Stress Syndrome." It's the lingering effects of having been lost at sea. I've talked to Judge Benson. He's very, very sympathetic about my daughter's --

Derek: I'm sure Judge Benson is, but his only real concern is with his reelection fund, which I'm sure you contributed to quite liberally -- so much so that Colby will probably never have to pay for any of the crimes she's committed.

J.R.: Well, thanks for stopping by, Derek. We're calling it a night.

Derek: You know, after all the charges you filed and made disappear, all the confessions you've made only to retract, I'm through with the lot of you. You know, from this moment on, you Chandlers are on your own.

Erica: How could you do it? How could you possibly encourage Josh to go after Babe?

Jeff: Josh never actually used Babe’s name. He just threw out a hypothetical question. "If I were to fall in love with a married woman, what would I do?" I answered him honestly.

Erica: By slapping him on the back and saying, "Go for it, son"?

Jeff: No.

Erica: Well, what? What did you say?

Jeff: I just merely said that if I thought that the woman's marriage wasn't happy, I'd fight for her.

Erica: Well, that's typical bachelor advice. Did you do that? Did you have affairs with married women in Africa?

Jeff: Never met one worth the trouble.

Erica: Well, what if you were to meet someone worth the trouble? Would you pursue her?

Jeff: Well, if I thought that I could make her happier than her husband, if she encouraged me, yes.

Erica: "Encouraged you"? Meaning?

Jeff: I think you have to answer that question. What constitutes encouragement from a married woman? Think about it, get back to me.

Erica: You think you can trust me to leave now?

Jeff: No, not really. But I'm sure that whatever danger there was has probably passed by now. You can go. Are you still planning on tracking him down?

Erica: When I have a sweeps launch to plan? Hmm. Not on your life.

[Jeff chuckles]

Erica: Thank you.

Jeff: Yeah.

Erica: You are still planning to take me?

Jeff: Yeah, I'm looking forward to it.

Erica: Thank you, Jeff.

Jeff: Good night.

[After Erica leaves, Jeff shuts the door to his room.]

Jeff: Well, as far as encouragement goes, that was pretty good.

[J.R. laughs]

J.R.: Ah. Ah, there she is. How'd everything go with the proofs today at work?

[Babe grabs her husband and kisses him passionately.]

J.R.: That good, huh?

Babe: I love you so much, and I am so proud of you, and I am so happy, J.R. Happier than I've been in a long, long time.

[Josh sits alone on the roof with his head hanging low.]

Ryan: Hey, Annie, it's me again. Look, I'm on your side, ok? I -- I swear. I just -- you got to call me back. Please, I really need to know where you are.

Zach: Where you going? Come back here.

Kendall: Hmm. There.

Zach: That's a way to put a damper on romance.

Kendall: Yeah, well, we can't pretend like they don't exist.

Zach: I didn't think divorce was an option anymore.

Kendall: We have to deal with this, Zach.

Zach: Ok. What do you suggest?

[Kendall rips the divorce papers in half then hands them to Zach.]

Kendall: Your turn.

Zach: Keep going.

Kendall: All right.

[Kendall giggles as she and Zach tear the divorce papers into teeny bits then throw them up in the air.]

Zach: Come here.

>> On the next "All My Children" --

Josh (to David): Why do you think I might be able to blow up Babe’s marriage?

David (to Josh): You do have some ammunition you could use, don't you?

Babe (to Bianca): Kendall isn't here.

Bianca (to Babe): I came to see you.

Kendall (to Zach): I didn't hear you say that you would stay out of Dixie’s life for good. Will you?
