Joe: All right, what do we got?
Boy: I'm king of the world!
Joe: Get some film and his parents' names and phone number.
Boy: No, not the 'rents! Come on.
Girl: You've got to fix it. Her father is going to kill her.
Second Girl: No, he can't know.
Jeff: Well, he's going to know.
Girl: Oh, my gosh. She just got this nose for graduation last year.
Jeff: Why don't you help her with these. Cubicle 4.
Girl: Thank you.
Jeff: A doctor will be right with you, and, uh, put down the name of her plastic surgeon.
Krystal: Excuse us.
Adam: Where the devil is Colby?
Krystal: She's probably schmoozing some Coast Guard to keep from reporting her.
Adam: Sean Montgomery -- I'm going to have his head for this! I'm going to snap him like a twig.
Krystal: Adam, how is this his fault?
Adam: That's what I'm going to find out.
Krystal: Well, Colby has a mind of her own.
Adam: Yeah, well -- Colby may have a mind of her own, but everything went to hell when he owed up. My guess, he's given her drugs.
Krystal: Oh, don't go looking for trouble, all right? Let's just find Colby and then worry about that boy.
Sean: Where's my nurse? I need a really hot nurse.
Adam: I'm going to strangle him.
Krystal: Adam --
Sean: Hey, hey, watch this. Watch this. Extreme wheelchair wheelies. Whoo. Whoo. Damn, harder than it looks.
Julia: Hey, Lily. I think you know that it's me, it's Julia. I know that you've gone deep inside now, where you feel safe, and that's ok. You told me that that helps in class one time. Do you remember that? I'm sure you do, because you have a great memory. Mine's not so good, but I do know that you hate to be touched. So I'm not really going to touch you, but I'm going to give you a little shot so that you can sleep, ok? What you're going to feel is just a swab of antiseptic. It's cold, isn't it? Ok. Now, just a pinch and -- there. There you go. See, I never really even touched you. Now you can rest.
Kendall: I told you. It's a scam to get out of your sleep-stealing feedings.
Ryan: Oh, that is so not true. I love to spend all-nighters with you, Spike. I live for it.
Kendall: And we're so glad you're alive for more of them.
[Jail door closes]
Guard: You've got a visitor, Slater.
Myrtle: Why do you handsome ones get into the most trouble?
Jamal: Hey. My mom was out of town on a case, but she's back, and she'll be here soon.
Lt. Perry: You know, you're supposed to be waiting over there, away from the suspect.
Jamal: Just stay cool, Annie, ok? Everything will be fine.
Lt. Perry: So, Ms. McDermott, you make the call. Do we start with you pumping a slug into Ryan Lavery or with Lavery’s brother mowing down your ex?
Derek: Milk, no sugar?
Jonathan: Is there any word on Lily yet?
Derek: Not yet. Like I said, the minute I hear, you hear. But off the record, I get what went down. What choice did you have? You had to kill McDermott -- for Lily.
Ryan: I'm ok.
Nurse: They like numbers.
Kendall: Is he?
Nurse: He's ok.
Ryan: What did I say?
Nurse: And if he takes it easy and follows orders, he'll be close to perfect in a few weeks.
Kendall: What if he hits the ground galloping and doesn't listen to anyone else?
Nurse: Keep him in bed.
Ryan: So what did the police say? What do they know about --
Kendall: Ryan, you can't protect Annie from this.
Ryan: Jamal can take them out of town.
Kendall: Yeah, he'd probably have to break her out of jail first. Jamal took her down to the police station, and Livia’s on her way. Terry's dead.
Ryan: Wow. Finally some good news. So who did it? Who took the slimebag out?
Kendall: Jonathan. Jonathan shot Terry.
Jonathan: Terry was a pervert, and he wasn't going to leave Lily alone.
Derek: I joined the force to put away scum like that. Hell, you only did what we couldn't, right? Took out a predator -- that's what Terry McDermott was, wasn't he?
Jonathan: He tried to molest Lily in New York.
Derek: Then he stalked her, tricked her into meeting him out there by that cabin. That's how it went down, right?
Jonathan: I mean, everybody in Pine Valley was trying to keep Terry away from Lily.
Derek: But she met him out there in the woods willingly, didn't she? That would tick me off even more -- girl I'm worried about, trying to care for, suddenly makes a date with this loser?
Jonathan: It wasn't a date.
Derek: Hey, it's the job. I have to look at everything as alleged. Terry McDermott was allegedly a perv, allegedly after teenage girls, virgins. But Lily was half naked when you took him out. He was barely dressed, too. That had to hurt.
Jonathan: I don't get you.
Derek: Hey, I wasn't there. I can't say how you reacted, but, man, if I saw the girl I loved going at it with some sicko -- and you only did what any man would do, that's all.
Jonathan: I did?
Derek: My take doesn't matter. It's what you saw, how it made you feel, and what you thought when you pulled the trigger. That'll determine the charges and your defense -- first-degree, second-degree, crime of passion, manslaughter, justifiable homicide.
Jonathan: None of that's up to me.
Derek: Sure it is. But we'll work it out, make sure you don't pay for something you didn't do.
Jonathan: Can I call the hospital now?
Derek: I did that when I got your coffee. Until they run a test, there won't be any word.
Jonathan: They need to run a test to see if Lily was raped, too.
Erica: Jack, you really need to go and find out if they brought Sean in.
Jack: I can't leave her.
Erica: I'll stay with Lily. She won't be alone.
Jack: Erica, she can't even stand to be touched, and that son of a --
Adam: That juvenile delinquent kidnapped my daughter and gave her alcohol.
Sean: Dude, she was mixing a few drinks, and she's no amateur.
Krystal: All right, let's talk about this later. Right now, let's just look for Colby, ok?
Jack: Well, I'm sure you're not feeling any pain, but tell me, how bad is it?
Sean: A little needlework, and I'm cool. Wild. Great party. You're not in the spirit.
Jack: Let me tell you something, young Sean. When you sober up, you and I are going to have a long, long talk.
Krystal: Adam, don't. Adam --
Adam: Where the hell is Colby?
Jack: Calm down.
Sean: You know, I don't care what anyone says. This is the best party ever, of the century. Props to you, Mr. Chandler.
Adam: You have no idea who I am or what I can do.
Sean: Sure I do. You were married to Aunt Erica. Because of you, her marriages to my dad weren't legal. The little twin-switch divorce thing you pulled?
Jack: All right, Sean, that's enough.
Jeff: How's Lily Montgomery?
Julia: She didn't react at all to the injection. I think the sedative was -- acted pretty fast.
Julia: She should be asleep by now.
Jeff: Who's the Gyn on duty?
Julia: Burke. She's finishing up with another patient. Then she'll examine Lily.
[Jeff listens from the doorway.]
Erica: I had Coral bring some things to make you feel more at home and safe, like this blue shawl of yours. I know how much you like it. It's so soft. It's like a baby chick. And the color blue turns the color red purple. You remember? It's almost like a magic cloak. Almost. Oh, Lily, I wish I could protect you forever. I remember you told me that you always loved the way your mother brushed your hair every night when you were a little girl. Laurel loved you, Lily. She still does, and she always will. And so does your father. And Reggie and Kendall and I, we all love you, Lily. We're all in each other's hearts, you know? And, Lily, the same is true of Jonathan and you. That kind of love, that kind of bravery, it stays in your heart, and it never changes, no matter what happens. That's with you and that's making things better, forever.
Kendall: Who appointed you guys the world's saviors?
Ryan: I'm only interested in Annie and my brother, ok? And "you guys"? You talking about Zach? Don't lump me in with him.
Ryan: I don't want to talk about him.
Kendall: Yeah, me, neither.
Ryan: What are you -- don't, Kendall, come on. Seriously, I'm not kidding.
Kendall: No, isn't there something that I can do to stop you from collapsing in a pool of your own blood?
Ryan: Was there anything that anybody could do when you ripped into the courthouse at J.R.’s trial, and that was after a coma and a C-section? This is -- this is nothing. It's like a scratch, ok?
Kendall: Fine. Ok. Great. Well, then you leave me no choice.
Ryan: Kendall, don't, all right? Don't call for security.
Kendall: Rachael, could you please take Spike home? I don't want him to see what I'm about to say to his father.
Zach: What are you doing, Fargate, hanging around the jails again?
Myrtle: Well, it reminds me of hanging around the lion's cage at the carny.
Guard: I got your coffee and doughnuts.
Myrtle: Oh, lovely, my favorite.
Guard: Glazed and lemon-filled.
Myrtle: You are a sweetheart.
Zach: What's going on here? You trying to make me jealous? It’s working.
Myrtle: Well, my friend and I -- we're friends.
Guard: I boarded at the Fargates'.
Myrtle: About a year ago. Thanks, darling. I think he's got a crush on me.
Zach: Of course, he's got a crush on you. You're an amazing woman.
Myrtle: You know, you're a secretive man.
Zach: Me? No, I'm an open book.
Myrtle: "An open book." Nonsense. You're full of it. You know, the last time I came to visit you here, you had all the answers, and you didn't give one to the police.
Zach: Well, the police should find the people responsible. It's what we pay them for.
Myrtle: Do you have the answers now?
Zach: Depends on the question.
Myrtle: Oh, stop being a fool. Go on, tell me.
Zach: Myrtle, thank you for the doughnuts and the coffee, but I really don't have anything to say to anybody, not even you.
Myrtle: Strength is real sexy, but you can take it too far.
Zach: I disagree.
Myrtle: Oh. You feel, what, home here? You like moving around this place?
Zach: Works for now.
Myrtle: What if now turns into 10 or 20 years? And what if this stretches out, and you lose another girl that you love very much?
Kendall: No, you can't do this.
Ryan: I can do this, actually, and I am doing this, and I'm going to be fine, all right?
Kendall: Shut up. Shut up, Ryan, please. Here. You can lean on me if you have to.
Ryan: Will you hold that side, please?
Kendall: Yes, I know how. Here. You got it?
Ryan: Yeah, fine. That's great. Thank you very much.
Ryan: I'm good.
Kendall: All right.
Kendall: Don't you ever get sick of going into battle alone?
Ryan: I don't understand. You said that you didn't want Spike to witness how you talked to his dad.
Kendall: Ok, listen, my car is parked out back. I'll drive you to the police station if you want me to.
Ryan: What? So you didn't want Spike to witness me breaking out of the hospital? What's going on here?
Kendall: Don't -- wait, here.
Ryan: Here, pull this, please? Go ahead.
Kendall: Wait, wait. Oh, be careful, Ryan
Kendall: Sorry, sorry, sorry. Ah -- ok. I'm sorry, I'm sorry.
Ryan: Explain, please. What's going on here?
Kendall: I'm going to explain to you. I just -- here.
Ryan: Thank you.
Kendall: Start on this. I don't want Spike to be bitten by the hero bug, ok? I want him to be selfish and safe. I don't care if there's no -- here -- statue of him in town hall or whatever. At least, he won't have multiple bullet wounds like a father of his --
Ryan: Ah. Ah!
Kendall: I won't mention it.
Kendall: Sorry. Ok. Good, good. See? Hero-ing hurts. Remember that.
Ryan: I won't forget this.
Kendall: Well, then there's hope for you yet.
Zach: So you think I'm hopeless?
Myrtle: No, I just think you're a slow learner. Why, it's a waste.
Zach: Doughnuts and coffee doesn't give you a free insult pass. Nah, maybe it does. Go ahead. Tell me I'm a loser, I'm an idiot. Go ahead.
Myrtle: No, no, no. You're not a loser. But you lost Maria, and you loved her very much. Now, did you tell her the truth about the death of Edmund? No, you didn’t. Why are you doing it again?
Zach: If I told you right now that I didn't kill Madden, would you believe me?
Myrtle: Yes, I would. Oh, come on. Let's get you out of here.
Zach: Kendall doesn't believe me.
Myrtle: Well, too bad. I'm sorry. Though I don't know how you're going to convince her when you're sitting in here. Maybe you think you shouldn't have to convince her.
Zach: Tad's lying. He couldn't have seen me and Dixie with Madden’s body. He couldn't have.
Myrtle: Oh, Zach. Darling, darling man. You know, you've got everything a woman would want. But your pride is just too much for you. Come here.
[Zach kisses Myrtle through the bars.]
Annie: This shouldn't have happened.
Lt. Perry: You shooting Ryan Lavery or your husband's shooting?
Jonathan: Terry McDermott had to be stopped.
Annie: My husband, my ex. I told the police what he was, they knew.
Jonathan: I reported him in New York.
Derek: When you claimed he tried to rape Lily.
Annie: Why didn't they get him? Why was he able to get away?
Jonathan: Yeah, and the police did nothing.
Annie: No one did anything to stop him.
Jonathan: We come back to Pine Valley, and it's like Lily’s dad blames me.
Derek: Man, that had to hurt after all you did to be near her, faking like you were slow? And instead of thanking you for protecting Lily in New York, Jack busts you kids up. That made you mad, didn't it?
Jonathan: Yeah. Yeah, Derek, it did.
Annie: How? How could they give him joint custody of Emma? Terry was a predator. Look at what he did to poor Lily Montgomery.
Jonathan: Terry McDermott was a predator who stalked Lily on the Internet. He set it up to gain her trust.
Annie: How could they believe Terry, trust him? How long before he'd try to do something to Emma?
Jonathan: Terry made Lily believe that he had a developmental disorder, so that he was like her.
Derek: Hey, it worked for you, right? You sort of lied to her the same way.
Jonathan: I love her. I was doing it -- I was doing it to make her happy, to protect her.
Annie: Emma had to be safe. She couldn't be, not with Terry out there.
Lt. Perry: You're a good mother. You'd do anything to protect your daughter.
Derek: You'd do anything for Lily, right?
Jonathan: She's all that matters.
Annie: My life would be nothing without her.
Derek: Hey, I get what went down. But a jury -- man. You spent a lot of time lying to Lily -- about who you really were, what you were capable of.
Jonathan: It made her -- it made her feel safe with me. It made her more comfortable.
Derek: See, they might think, "Hell, if he'd lie like that about himself, he'd lie about McDermott, too." You make him out to be a big threat, get Lily worked up, then play hero.
Jonathan: Why would I do that, though?
Derek: She'd be grateful. Maybe you'd even get on her father's good side and be with Lily again.
Jonathan: No, I didn't - I didn't make up anything about Terry McDermott. He's a predator. His own wife doesn't want him anywhere near his daughter.
Annie: I kept thinking about Terry. He was just watching, waiting to take Emma.
Lt. Perry: You couldn't let that happen.
Annie: God, no. But he was coming for her, and I knew that he would do anything. And I was there, and I heard a noise outside, and someone came in the door. I mean, I couldn't let him take Emma.
Lt. Perry: And as long as he was alive, that could happen.
Annie: Look, someone was coming in. I was just so sure that it was Terry. And I couldn't let him hurt Emma or Ryan or any of us.
Lt. Perry: Ryan's been helping you for a long time. He hid you. He gave you a job.
Annie: If I had only known that it was Ryan --
Lt. Perry: You almost killed the wrong man.
Annie: Yes. I shot Ryan, but it was an accident.
Lt. Perry: So your ex is still out there. He's still a threat that has to be stopped, so Jonathan killed him.
Annie: Yes. No, no. It wasn't like that.
Lt. Perry: How was it?
Annie: Well, I don't know. I wasn't there.
Lt. Perry: Lavery's been awfully good to you. I understand you're trying to keep him out of trouble.
Annie: Look, I can't say what Jonathan did or didn't do. All I know is that Emma’s safe now.
Jonathan: Lily's safe now. That's all that matters.
Derek: You had to kill him.
Jonathan: He was trying to rape her. Lily can't stand to be touched.
Derek: You love her. You never touched her?
Jonathan: Our relationship wasn't about sex. It couldn't be.
Derek: Man, that must've been frustrating. But you played along, kept up with the low-IQ thing. I guess that's what I call love.
Jonathan: Lily's an amazing woman.
Derek: I'm just warning you, this is going to be hard to sell to a jury.
Jonathan: I don't give a damn.
Derek: Well, you better start. You're facing a murder charge. That's a lot of years in the can.
Jonathan: I was defending Lily, and I would do it again.
Derek: Defending her against her online boyfriend, the one she undressed for. Maybe she didn't mind being touched by him.
Lt. Perry: You owe the Lavery family.
Annie: They helped me.
Lt. Perry: They bought your story and had your husband whacked -- yeah, lucky you.
Annie: That's crazy. It wasn't like that.
Lt. Perry: You're not glad he's dead?
Annie: You don't know what it was like. I loved Terry once, I trusted him.
Lt. Perry: It must be a big weight off your mind, no more worries.
Annie: Look, I knew that one day I would have to tell Emma why she couldn't see her daddy anymore, that he was a bad man, and she would want to know why he was bad. And then maybe one day she'd read something in the paper when she was older, or somebody would say something to her, and I would have to explain to her what Terry did.
Lt. Perry: Not anymore.
Annie: No. No. Now I have to tell her that Daddy’s dead, and someday I'm going to have to tell her why.
Jonathan: I wasn't jealous of Terry McDermott!
Derek: No? You found him with your girl, they were both half naked.
Jonathan: What -- as a detective, right, detective, yeah? Ok. What part of the term "rape" don't you understand?
Derek: You weren't there. It could've been consensual.
Jonathan: Lily is frozen right now! She's catatonic! She's paralyzed, because she couldn't escape that freak!
Derek: Or because her ex busted in on her with her new boyfriend.
Jonathan: What is wrong with you?
Derek: Just playing devil's advocate. There's always more than one way to view a crime.
Jonathan: Everybody thought that Terry was in Ireland, where he was supposed to be. I found out he wasn’t. I heard that Lily makes a date with this online guy.
Derek: So you ran over to bust it up.
Jonathan: To protect her, to make sure that she was all right!
Derek: So it was a spur-of-the-moment thing, no premeditation? You hadn't planned it at all?
Derek: So how come you booked a flight to Ireland and bought a gun three days before you killed him?
Ryan: Jonathan, stop, not one more word. Do you understand me? Not a word. I mean, come on, Derek. You're questioning my brother without his attorney present. What is that?
Livia: You know, I think sometimes you belong on the other side of the law.
Derek: Whoa, whoa, everything's nice and legal. Nobody's been arrested yet.
Jonathan: Ryan, wait a minute --
Jonathan: Lily? What about Lily? Ryan, is she all right?
Kendall: She's fine, she's fine. They're checking her out. We'll take you to see her when we get you out of here.
Ryan: What did you say, Jonathan? Did you say anything?
Jonathan: Lily's having nightmares about Terry McDermott since New York, now it's done. I don't give a damn. I did what had to be done.
Ryan: Well, I do.
Livia: You know I'm going to keep you from using anything that Ms. McDermott was coerced into saying.
Derek: Whoa, I'm hurt, Livvie. Unlike your brother and Ms. McDermott and your husband, we like to keep things friendly.
Kendall: Don't drag Zach into this.
Derek: Why don't you go down to lock-up and say hello?
Kendall: To Zach? What are you talking about?
Derek: Slater assaulted my primary witness in this case.
Derek: So Zach’s bail has been revoked, and he's a guest of the state until his murder trial. Maybe now you'd like to tell us more about Zach and Dixie and Madden. I have a few minutes if you –
[Kendall rushes out to see Zach.]
Derek: Looks like we're going to have a full house tonight.
[Kendall approaches Zach’s cell. When the door opens, they stare at each other.]
Ryan: It was an accident.
Lt. Perry: Ms. McDermott was clear on that point.
Ryan: Really? Well, Ms. McDermott is obviously in shock, all right? I will tell you exactly what happened.
Lt. Perry: She shot you with a .380 automatic registered in your name.
Ryan: You know what? I was kind of expecting this, all right, and it is a little embarrassing, but I -- I was cleaning my gun.
Derek: You're begging to get slapped with obstruction, that's what you're doing.
Livia: Obstruction of what?
Derek: No false statements, ok? Let's just keep this simple.
Ryan: Ok. Let's keep it simple. That's fine. I'm not pressing charges, so Annie is free to go. Is that simple enough?
Derek: To New York. That outstanding warrant for Ms. McDermott slipped your mind, huh?
Livia: Just hold on a second, Derek.
Derek: We have a cell waiting while they arrange transfer. Your daughter will be in foster care until you settle your legal problems.
Annie: What, foster care?
Livia: We will get this straightened out.
Derek: Social Services has someone on the way.
Annie: So you wouldn't protect Emma from real danger -- from her father -- but you will from me? You can't do this. You can't take my little girl away from me.
Derek: Someone has to look out for the child's best interests.
Annie: My daughter is happy and safe where she is, and she's staying there.
Kendall: Just when I think you're in as deep as you can get, you go and attack the one witness against you.
Zach: Tad had it coming. He didn't see me and Dixie with Madden that night. He couldn't have.
Kendall: Just like Ryan didn't find that disc of Madden’s in our closet?
Zach: What do you want me to say to you?
Kendall: It doesn't matter. If it did, you wouldn't be in here. You are a man who does his own thing, you handle things your way. You don't answer to anyone, not even me.
Zach: I don't want it this way.
Kendall: You said that you wanted to be Spike's stepfather.
Zach: I am his stepfather.
Kendall: But you're in here until your trial. And you could be in prison for how long?
Kendall: Now you want to reach me? Why not when you could when you were at home, and I was begging you to stay home with me? To just forget Dixie and forget her stupid problems and just stay home with me, because I'm your wife? And I couldn't believe everything you said just because you said it. I mean, after the lies that you told me before, was that really such a crime? Was that so unforgivable?
Zach: Ask me anything you want to know. I'll tell you everything right now.
Adam: I will see to it that Frye personally arrests and books Sean Montgomery.
Sean: Did I hear my name?
Adam: It's going to be a number soon.
Sean: I'm all sewn up and minty fresh.
Adam: You better hope that this delay has lowered your blood alcohol.
Sean: He's a very angry man.
Adam: I want -- I want this man's blood alcohol put on the record immediately.
Sean: Are you happy?
Krystal: Don't make this worse.
Adam: I'm going to see that all this pain and suffering you've caused -- you're going to pay for it, buddy. You're not going to get away with it.
Jack: What's so funny, Sean?
Sean: Colby was piloting the boat.
Adam: You're blaming Colby for this?
Sydney: Colby, you psycho, where are you? Colby, don't even try to hide. You are so busted for crashing us.
Sean: And the defense rests. Colby wanted to be famous. Now she's all that.
Jack: Is the doctor --
Erica: The exam is finished.
Jack: What did he say?
Erica: It didn't happen. Lily wasn't raped.
Jack: He didn't have time. Lily's all right.
Erica: She will be.
Jack: She will be.
Erica: And you know who you have to thank for this, don't you? Jonathan. Jonathan saved her.
[Jack goes to check on his sleeping daughter.]
Erica: Oh, no. Jeff, no, not now. I don't want to hear anything you have to say -- about how I messed things up, about how I ruined your life and Josh's, and whatever I'm supposed to feel guilty about. I don't want to hear it. Save it. Get in line, whatever.
Jeff: I look at you, and I see the same Erica I knew years ago staring back at me.
Erica: Oh, and that's bad, of course.
Jeff: Just as selfish and stubborn, maybe more beautiful than the first time I saw you.
Erica: Where is this going?
Jeff: No, no, no, it confuses me, too. I just know that it's easier to see you as the woman you were instead of the woman you are today.
Erica: The more beautiful me?
Jeff: The more impressive you. You're deeper, and maybe that's -- maybe that's part of what makes you more attractive. But something else has changed, something inside you.
Jack: Do you have any idea how much I love you? I should've taken better care of you. This never should've happened. That man should never have gotten anywhere near you. I'm so, so sorry -- but that man is gone, Lily. He's gone. And he can never come back to hurt you, not ever again. I thought I was protecting you. And how could I protect you when I wasn't even listening to you? I mean, what you wanted, what you needed. I thought I knew what was best, but I know now I was wrong. I've learned that, and I'll do better. I promise you I will be the father that you need, the father that you deserve, starting right now, honey.
[Jack picks up Lily’s hand, but she doesn’t respond.]
Jeff: You, Josh, and I probably have one of the most tangled family trees around, but we still are family, and I'd like to focus on that.
Erica: Well, I don't want us to be a chapter in a Psych textbook.
Jeff: I'd like to get to know the mother of my child. I mean, once we're properly reacquainted, then maybe we can get to know Josh. Now, what do you say -- the occasional talk over a cup of coffee? Hmm?
Erica: Actually, I drink tea now. I drink green tea.
Jeff: You proved my point. Can we spend some time together?
Erica: I'd like that.
Paramedic: That's the last of the Titanic survivors.
Adam: Wait, wait, wait.
Krystal: Adam, calm down.
Adam: No, my daughter was on that boat. She may have been driving the damn thing.
Paramedic: And she wasn't brought in?
Adam: No! So I want you to find her and find her fast.
Paramedic: Sanchez, this is Niner.
Paramedic: Sanchez, we've got a missing girl from the boat.
Adam: She's 16 years old.
Paramedic: And she's 16.
Adam: She's blonde, she's pretty.
Paramedic: She's blonde.
Adam: She's about 5'3". Her name's Colby, Colby Chandler.
Kendall: I've asked before. What's going to change this time? I can't -- I can't do it again, Zach. I can't do it. Tad says he saw you. And you thought beating him up would make him change his story? I know what I need to know.
[Kendall closes the door on Zach’s cell and leaves him.]
Livia: Do you really think this is going to help your case, hiding your daughter from Social Services?
Annie: Emma comes first.
Livia: No judge is going to see it that way. You could end up doing some very serious time.
Jamal: Leave her alone, Mom.
Livia: Excuse me?
Jamal: She doesn't want to put her daughter through the system. I mean, would you? I've told you what it's like.
Livia: How deep are you in this? And if it is anything over the soles of your feet, I don't want to hear it.
Jamal: Well, then maybe you shouldn't ask.
Livia: Oh, my God. Why?
Jamal: Because the law isn't always necessarily justice, and I want to be on the right side.
Derek: You have the right to remain silent, but you know that. Still, anything you say can and will be held against you in a court of law.
Ryan: Derek, this is ridiculous. You should've gotten Terry off the streets to begin with.
Derek: If you don't have an attorney, one will be provided --
Jonathan: Go ahead and cut to the end, because I don't give a damn. I would do it again.
