Kendall: Ok, so what is Livia’s take on this judge? I mean, it doesn't really matter, right? I mean, he'll set bail, I'll pay the price, and then Zach will be free, right?
Ryan: Yeah. As long as there's no big surprises, yes. Ahem -- excuse me.
Kendall: I think my stomach just turned over.
Ryan: Look, Zach should make bail, ok? No problem, but just in case, just be prepared for anything.
Kendall: After all, it is Pine Valley.
Adam: The Coast Guard has to have more manpower than that. Yes, I know. I know what this country is facing. I want one boat to help in the search, that's it. Yes. I'll hold on.
Colby: You didn't get any sleep, did you?
Krystal: I'm sorry -- what?
Colby: Sleep, eat? Anything?
Krystal: When Babe is found.
Adam: No, no. As a matter of fact, it's not good enough. There's -- there's no news. They can't spare any more men for the search right now. I'm sorry, darling.
Erica: Well, then rerun a show. Anything, I don't care. No. Are we on the same phone call? No! No, I have more important things on my mind. No, I'm not coming to the studio today.
Erica: Well, let them -- let them bump the show. Let them cancel the show. Myrtle, my son is out there somewhere lost and -- and maybe even dead.
Josh: Babe, wake up. We have company.
Lily: Petitions are to support or oppose something -- free lunches for poor children.
Jonathan: It's not that kind of petition, Lily.
Lily: This petition is a mistake. Nobody can say I'm incompetent.
[Knock on door]
Lily: Oh, there's the man now. He knows that he made a mistake. He'll just take it back. Oh, Dad, did you see that man? He's giving out papers to the wrong people.
Jack: I'm sorry, honey. I wanted to talk to you before that got here.
Lily: That petition? How did you know about it?
Jack: I filed the papers.
Lily: You did this? You think I'm incompetent?
Di: Charging Dixie with Madden’s murder?
Del: As if she could've done it.
Di: Greg Madden’s just a curse that she can't seem to get rid of.
Del: Nobody should do time for killing that scuzball.
Di: Why aren't you investigating Madden’s murder?
Tad: Let's just see how this goes first, shall we?
Di: But Aidan told me that you're not doing anything to prove that Dixie and Zach are innocent.
Tad: That's not my job. The burden of proof is on the state, remember?
Di: Well -- I think all defendants can use a little help, even the innocent ones.
Tad: What about the guilty ones?
Kendall: Tad knows something. There is some huge reason why he thinks that Zach and Dixie are guilty.
Babe: J.R. Oh, my -- you're here, you're -- you're real? Oh!
J.R.: Oh, thank God you're all right.
Babe: Oh. I knew that you would find me. I prayed, and then I dreamt that you -- oh, my gosh.
J.R.: You're ok? The crash and --
Babe: Yeah -- no, I'm fine. Nothing's broken. I'm just sore and waterlogged and -- oh, I cannot believe you're here!
J.R.: When I heard the plane went down, I just --
Jamie: Was it mechanical error?
Julia: Or pilot error?
Babe: No, we -- we ran out of gas.
J.R.: You ran -- what?
Jamie: I've never heard that excuse on a plane, only in cars.
Julia: Like, "Oops, I forgot to gas up the jet"?
Josh: What can I say? It's been a busy month.
Jamie: And what the hell were you thinking? Why'd you even get on the plane?
Josh: She didn't know she was going up. I took her with me against her will.
Erica: I'm avoiding the studio today, so I can get away from the -- the phone calls and the questions and the stares.
Myrtle: Darling, darling, most -- most of them mean well. They mean well.
Erica: Well, I feel a little better being here, Myrtle, where they're coordinating the search.
Myrtle: Is there -- is there anything I can do to help you?
Erica: You can tell me what to do. Please, tell me, how can I handle everything I'm feeling?
Myrtle: Well, guilt is tough.
Erica: Well, who said anything about guilt?
Erica: Ok, I'm loaded with it. If I get another chance with my son -- Myrtle, how do I make it right with him?
Myrtle: Well, it depends. What -- what do you really want from him?
Adam: Oh. Your food's gone cold.
Krystal: Honey, I do not care.
Adam: I'll get Winifred to get some more.
Colby: Check on my breakfast while you're at it. God, finally.
Winifred: Your French toast, Miss Colby.
Colby: Thanks, Winifred.
Colby: Go all the way to France to get it?
Winifred: Miss Colby, I -- any word yet, Mrs. Chandler?
Krystal: No, I'm afraid not.
Adam: And is this Sydney? Is that it?
Colby: Oh, yeah. It's easy to remember -- just think of "land down under."
Sydney: Huh. Um -- Mr. and Mrs. Chandler, I actually just wanted to thank you guys for hiring me for the rest of the summer.
Krystal: Well, yeah. I -- I'm just so sorry that you came aboard under such a tense time.
Adam: Yeah. Um -- if you'll excuse me, I have some phone calls to make. I'll let you know if I hear anything.
Krystal: Ok, honey. And, Winnie, listen -- breakfast really looks delicious. I just don't have much of an appetite.
Colby: Hello? On this side of the track, we like our French toast warm. God.
Winifred: We're all a bit distracted, Miss Colby.
Winifred: Come, talk to me about Babe. Let's go.
Krystal: All right. I appreciate it, Winnie. I --
Colby: You know, I can't eat this!
Sydney: I'll eat it.
Colby: Hmm. Recycling's cool with me. Chow down in the kitchen while Winnie makes me a fresh order.
Sydney: Stuff your orders. You know, from what I saw chubbing out from your bathing suit, I got to say -- one more piece of French toast and, ooh, you can kiss a size 4 good-bye.
Colby: Oh. You know, you're on trial at this house, ok?
Colby: I give a word, and you're out on the street before you know it.
Sydney: Bite me.
Lily: I know a lot. I'm a married woman, and I have a job, and all my co-workers like me -- that's what Kendall said. Tell me to do something, and I'll do it -- I'll show you.
Jonathan: Lily, no one thinks that -- that you're incompetent.
Jack: I want to speak to my daughter alone.
Jonathan: I'm not going to leave now, Jack, not after this.
Lily: No. No, Jonathan can't go. Jonathan loves me, he knows. He knows that I'm not incompetent. He knows that "different" doesn't mean "less than." Here, I have a dictionary. I'll show you.
Jack: Lily, please just let me explain. Please, honey?
Lily: I'm not incompetent.
Jonathan: Jack, tell her -- tell her it's a mistake.
Lily: I'm not incompetent. I've made a life here with my husband.
Jonathan: Lily, he doesn't -- no, he doesn't think that you're incompetent. This is -- I mean, this is about us.
Jack: No, this is about you, Jonathan, you pretending to be somebody you're not.
Lily: Jonathan is Jonathan Lavery. He's my husband, and I love him.
Jack: No, it's an act. He is not this sweet, simple, innocent boy. He's not.
Lily: You still want me to move out of here. You still want to break us up.
Jack: Yes. Yes, I do. Honey, not to make you unhappy -- I'm trying to keep you safe here.
Lily: I can't be safe without my husband. Jonathan saved me. Jonathan and I are very much alike.
Jack: Oh, God, no. No. God, honey, he is nothing like you. You are good and loving, and he is a liar and a coward. He is tricking you --
Lily: No, stop saying that.
Jack: Into loving him.
Jack: I can't stop, honey, because it's true. Lily? We'll rip this petition up if you'll just come home with me now.
Lily: This is my home.
Jack: Please just pack your bags and come home with me, because if you don't, I will use this petition to annul your marriage. That will make him leave you.
Kendall: It's ok to talk, isn't it?
Derek: This is a routine hearing. Don't do anything stupid.
Kendall: Well, it's way too late for that. I'm not only in love with Zach, I married him.
Di: So do you want Dixie convicted?
Tad: If I know Dixie, she'll get herself off.
Di: Well, I still think Aidan should see what he can uncover.
Tad: I know what he'll uncover. Would you drop it?
Del: Hey, they had to arrest somebody. Whatever evidence they have is circumstantial.
Dixie: I don't know, Del. They might have enough to put us away.
Ryan: I don't need any answers or explanations or anything like that. You tell me what you need, and it's yours.
Zach: I don't need anything. I'm innocent.
Ryan: And what if they prove otherwise?
Zach: Then they put me away, and you get Kendall and your son.
Kendall: Ok, I'm feeling a little left out here. What's going on?
Zach: Male bonding.
Dixie: The photographs that I found of all the children are my first solid lead, and I can spend the time between the hearing and the trial looking through them for Kate, but I -- I've got to make bail.
Del: Maybe it'll be low.
Di: It'll have to be for us to scrape together.
Dixie: Well, we've got to figure something out, because I can't afford to lose Kate’s trail now.
Bailiff: This court is now in session, the Honorable Stephen Stines presiding. All rise.
Judge: Be seated. This hearing is now called to order. This proceeding should be relatively painless if you will all turn off your cell phones. If I hear another cell phone in my courtroom -- just turn them off.
Tad: Now, if only Dixie would give some straight answers.
Babe: If it hadn't have been for Josh, I would've drowned.
J.R.: If it hadn't been for Captain Nemo, you would've never hit the water in the first place.
Jamie: Do you really expect us to get you off this rock?
Josh: I've learned not to expect anything from anyone, even family -- especially brand-new family.
Babe: Ok, please, can we just go back to Pine Valley?
Julia: We should tell the captain to radio ahead we found them.
Jamie: Yeah, and Babe’s safe.
J.R.: You know, just because you're some sort of roundabout family member, doesn't give you a free pass. You mess with a Chandler or a Martin, you pay the piper, and that's a family policy.
Josh: I only wanted to borrow your wife -- you're the one that wanted to kill her.
Jack: Listen to me, listen to me. You think that there are two Jonathans -- bad Jonathan who trapped you in that mine and wanted to kill you, and good Jonathan.
Jonathan: Jack, I do love her and --
Jack: Shut up. Shut up. There is no good Jonathan -- he does not exist.
Lily: No, Jonathan believes in me. Jonathan loves me. He's my husband, and he knows that I'm not incompetent.
Jack: Lily, I believe in you, and "incompetent" is just a legal term that will allow -- you're being fooled, honey.
Lily: Then make up a petition for that. That says that I'm incompetent. That means I can't do anything right.
Jack: Honey, I know how much you can do right. I know that you can do things that none of the rest of us can even do. But your Autism Spectrum Disorder -- it makes things difficult for you that for other people -- it's simple for them.
Lily: You mean "normal" people? Well, I am normal. I'm our kind of normal.
Jack: You had to be taught how to read people's facial expressions.
Lily: Everyone has to be taught that. It just took me longer.
Jack: Judging faces is difficult. That's why what happened with that man in New York happened.
Jonathan: Jack, she doesn't like to talk about that.
Lily: No, I read his face correctly, but he was a liar. He seemed -- he seemed nice and helped me, and he cared about me. So I thought that I could --
Jack: Exactly. That's exactly what Jonathan is doing right now. Honey, lots of us get fooled, because we want to love somebody or believe in that person. Happens to all of us. I just want to stop Jonathan from doing it to you.
Lily: You think I'm still being fooled? Well, that makes me a fool.
Jack: Honey, you've always been able to trust me. And you still can so please, please trust me now. Believe me because what I'm telling you is the truth. No more petitions, no more hearings. I just want you to come home with me. We'll forget this ever happened.
Colby: Turn in your uniform, you pathetic sack.
Sydney: What? What, Colby -- oh. Did you want to see if maple syrup's a good conditioner?
Colby: Uh-uh, uh-uh.
Sydney: Uh-huh. Uh-huh.
Winifred: Sydney, stop that. Stop it right --
Krystal: Hallelujah -- they found Babe, and she's all right!
Winifred: Oh, that is wonderful!
Colby: Yeah, tragedy's over. Prepare to meet pavement, sister.
Sydney: Oh, welcome to a --
Krystal: Ok, now you two cut it out --
Sydney: Smackdown you'll never.
Krystal: Cut it out!
Winifred: I am mortified. Sydney, you are on the next train out of here.
Krystal: Well, why? Five will get you ten Colby started it.
Colby: She's a con!
Sydney: She's delusional.
Colby: Oh, yeah. Who pretended to be a Chandler at the club?
Colby: Yeah, she was charging stuff on Dad’s account.
Sydney: Yeah, well, you -- I didn't have any cash, and you have to be a member.
Colby: Oh, what -- what a liar. God.
Krystal: Ok, Colby, Colby. Why don't you just think of it as a "Welcome to Pine Valley" gift, ok?
Colby: That she stole? God.
Krystal: You know, right now, I don't give a hoot if she stole or not -- my daughter was just found. Besides that, we've all done things that we regret. Now, listen to me -- I'm very fond of Winnie --
Colby: Yeah --
Krystal: And I respect her.
Colby: It's -- Winnie’s great. It's her that's causing --
Krystal: You will not dis somebody just because they work hard for a living. You think you're superior? Honey, you just hit the lotto of life. Now -- and you -- there's not enough room for both you and that chip on your shoulder, so you get rid of it, ok? You two play nice and learn to make a truce.
Winifred: If there is any more trouble, you are leaving here.
Krystal: And you can kiss that Sweet-16 blowout good-bye.
Erica: I don't expect him to embrace me or even forgive me. But if I could watch, even from a distance just to see what he does with his life, just to see the choices he makes, and if he needed anything or if he -- he wanted anything from me, it's his, no strings attached, no interference. And I swear, Myrtle, I swear I wouldn't try to control his life, and I know that would be very tempting, but I swear I wouldn't do it. I just want him to live. I just want him to live, have a long and happy life. That's all I want.
Myrtle: Are you talking to me or to him?
Erica: To both. If I could bargain for Josh's life, I would. I just want a chance to get to know my son. I just -- I just want to have some kind of a bond.
Myrtle: My darling, you're going to have to work very hard to make it right.
Erica: Anything. Anything.
J.R.: Your career no longer exists. Your mother never really wanted you, and the guy that raised you was a pervert.
Josh: You don't think he meant well?
Babe: J.R., don't, please. Please.
J.R.: No, I want to know what's in his mind. If kidnapping my wife wasn't payback for playing that CD, then what? You thought that Babe needed saving, that she needed to be away from me? Is that it?
Josh: Yeah, that's pretty common knowledge, J.R.
J.R.: So where were you flying to -- your dad's sick fantasy island?
Babe: Drop it, ok? I still haven't forgiven you for playing that CD at the club.
Julia: Hey, before everybody goes jungle, why don't you just let me check you for injuries here.
Josh: It's already been done, Nurse Keefer. I still have an "MD" after my name, whatever name that is. And Babe checked out, perfectly.
Julia: Oh, just as smug and obnoxious as ever, huh?
Josh: Well, you're not going to thank me for expunging your record, Nurse Keefer? I told Joe Martin -- I mean, "Grandpa" -- that you hadn't withheld the information on that patient that flatlined.
Jamie: Good, considering you're the one who put the blame on her.
Josh: But then I took it off again. You're welcome, cousin.
Babe: Ok! You guys can stay here and fight all you want, but I am going home to Mama and my baby.
Josh: I just want to know one thing -- did playing my dad's dying last words do the trick? Did they arrest Erica?
Babe: J.R., is Erica in jail? We're going to find out anyway.
J.R.: They hauled in my mother and Zach Slater.
Livia: This is a waste of the court's time. I'd like to make a motion at this time that this case be dropped and that all charges be dismissed against my clients. There are no witnesses to the burial or even to the death of Dr. Gregory Madden.
Tad: Want to bet?
Livia: To proceed with a trial without sufficient evidence would be a gross --
Judge: The state disagrees with you, Miss Cudahy.
DA: Definitely. Your Honor, Mrs. Martin's and Mr. Slater's hatred for Dr. Madden was sufficient evidence, sufficient motive for the commission of the crime.
Livia: Your Honor, there are numerous people who hated Dr. Gregory Madden.
DA: But the forensic evidence conclusively links only Mr. Slater and Mrs. Martin to it. We're confident of a conviction, Your Honor.
Livia: Judge Stines, the district attorney is doing some grandstanding for the public opinion. We are in an election year --
Judge: Nice try, Miss Cudahy, but I've read everything both you and your esteemed colleague have given me, and I am finding that there's sufficient cause to bring your clients to trial.
Tad: Madden won't be the first guy to underestimate Dixie.
Livia: Your Honor, Mr. Slater has a family here and owns a local business. And Miss Martin also has family here, and very little in the way of assets.
Tad: She's resourceful.
Livia: To set a high bail for her would create an excessive hardship. And the case against my client does not warrant it.
Del: How about you shut up?
Tad: I'm still Kate’s father. She's the only reason we're here, Jethro.
DA: Your Honor, Mr. Slater owns and manages several gambling casinos. He has the wherewithal and the connections to flee. The court should also know that Mr. Slater has in the past created an entirely new identify for himself. And Mrs. Martin is no stranger to making herself disappear, either. We would recommend that bail be denied.
Livia: Your Honor, there are mitigating circumstances --
Judge: My mind is made up, Miss Cudahy.
Tad: If Dixie finds Kate while she's out on bail --
Judge: Sum of $2 million each.
Tad: We'll never see them again.
Livia: But, Your Honor --
Judge: That's all, Miss Cudahy.
Bailiff: All rise.
Judge: My job here's done.
Kendall: Well, we can manage that, can't we?
Ryan: Anything you want, Kendall, it's yours.
Dixie: My God, it might as well be 10 million.
Del: J.R. can raise it. I'll call him.
Dixie: No, no, no. No, no, no. I'm not going to call J.R. until they find Babe. Then I'll ask for help.
Di: I don't know what possessed Tad.
Aidan: Oh -- there is something going on with him and Dixie.
Di: Well, there are ups and downs. It could be anything.
Aidan: You know, I found your pal Annie. You know who she was with all this time? Erin.
Di: Oh -- well, why didn't Erin say anything?
Aidan: It's complicated.
Di: Well, does Erin know about us?
Aidan: She kind of stumbled into it, yeah.
Dixie: Do I have to go back to jail now?
Bailiff: Just waiting for Chief Frye.
Dixie: I don't suppose you found $2 million on the floor someplace?
Del: Not even a dime, kid.
Dixie: You want to distract him while I make a break for it?
Josh: You saved yourself by sending your own mother to the slammer? What's the -- the Chandler/Martin family policy on that?
Babe: Lay off, Josh.
J.R.: You know, let's just go home.
Jamie: Gee, I don't think the boat's big enough for all of us.
Josh: That's all right, I'll take the next one.
Julia: You're in no rush to get back?
Josh: To Pine Valley? I was on my way out. Said my good-byes. If J.R. had kept my dad's parting shot to himself, I'd be out of your lives by now. But he had to save his sorry skin.
Jamie: Now you're asking to get punched.
Babe: Ok, enough, everyone, please. The boat's big enough for all of us, right?
Julia: Yeah, we might all stay on it if Josh keeps his mouth shut.
Babe: Ok, then. Fine, it's settled. You're coming with us. Please, remember everything that we talked about. You don't have to stay in town, but at least settle things with Erica and Jeff Martin, and then you can take off, wherever you want. Please.
Josh: Only for you.
Erica: Well, I must have accidentally turned the ringer off, but -- but Jamie radioed? He's sure? Josh is fine? He's -- he's --
Myrtle: Darling, darling. The man said he's fine. It's good news.
Erica: Josh is coming back. Well, I -- I'm going to be here. I'm going to be here waiting for him. I'm -- I'm going to be here for him from now on.
Jeff: Well, Josh may be in Switzerland.
Erica: Oh, Jack and I want to really give him a true welcome back to life, back -- back to his family.
Jeff: Neither of which he may want.
Erica: I'm going to make everything perfect for Josh. I swear I am. I can. And this time is going to be different, Jeff. I swear. This time, it's going to be everything that Josh wants.
Krystal: You know, I have got way too much to be happy about right now, so you two learn to get along, or that party of the century is going to turn out to be a candle in a cupcake.
Colby: Daddy promised me the ultimate, hot, sexy, unbelievable Sweet 16, and you can't stop it.
Krystal: Honey, do you ever wonder how a trailer-living, hard-working, trucker-lovin' gal like me ended up here? Yeah, sure there was a lot of love mixed in, but the fact is the way I can play your daddy -- let's just say he's going to back me. And bye-bye party.
Colby: Oh. God, this is not fair.
Krystal: This is life. Huh? And no more of this Paris Chandler routine at the yacht club. If you want to hang out there, fine, but as our guest.
Krystal: By the way, this uniform thing doesn't really work for me, so --
Krystal: You don't have to wear that anymore.
Adam: Krystal --
Colby: Daddy, we were just talking about my party, and --
Adam: They found her.
Krystal: I know! I know!
Adam: J.R. found Babe! They're coming into the marina right now.
Krystal: Oh, good. Ok.
Adam: Let's go. Let's go.
Krystal: Let's go. Ok.
Lily: If I didn't have Autism Spectrum Disorder, you couldn't do this to me.
Jack: Honey, I'm doing this for you. I want Jonathan away from you, but not like this. Not this way.
Lily: Well, then don't do it this way!
Jack: Come home with me, and I won’t. I -- I just want you to get an annulment --
Jonathan: Jack, listen to her.
Lily: I'm happy. I'm happy. We're happy together, and I want it to stay this way.
Jack: But listen to me, this marriage has never been consummated. So we can have it annulled without you --
Lily: No! No. No. No, the law says that I can keep a job if I'm good at it. And I'm good at being married. And I want to stay with my husband, Jonathan.
Jack: Honey, please --
Lily: I'm happy this way.
Jack: Please listen to me. Listen to me.
Lily: No! I'm happy!
Jack: Believe me when I --
Jonathan: Jack --
Lily: I'm happy.
Jonathan: Jack, you're making Lily feel bad.
Lily: I'm happy.
Jonathan: You're scaring her. Look at her.
Lily: Jonathan -- Jonathan --
Jack: How scared is she going to be?
Lily: I have to be with Jonathan.
Jack: How betrayed is she going to feel when she finds out I'm telling her the truth, Jonathan? You don't just expect me to give this up, do you? Let you lie to my daughter, use her, get her to worship you? You'd have to kill me first.
Jonathan: I'll never leave her. I love her. And you don't know who I am now. And you don't know -- you don't know who she is. Your daughter wrote this for MIT. It's her essay. Read it. Maybe you'll understand your daughter a little bit better.
Lily: No --
Babe: I'm sorry that I scared all of you so badly.
J.R.: It wasn't your fault.
Babe: I was the one that left with Josh.
J.R.: You didn't know he was going to lock you onboard and take off.
Babe: You're not mad, really?
J.R.: That you have a soft heart? That you care about people? That you want to give them the benefit of the doubt to make things better? I love that about you.
Babe: Are you sorry that you played the CD of Madden?
J.R.: I'm only sorry that my mother was arrested.
Babe: What is it with you and revenge? Do you have any idea what you did to Josh's new family? Is it some testosterone-driven guy thing?
J.R.: I don't know. Why don't you ask Nurse Keefer? Anyway, you still love me?
Jack: It's a very well- -- very well-written essay.
Jonathan: Lily's smart about who she is. And how her normal is different from -- from yours, and even mine.
Lily: But it's similar to yours.
Jonathan: Everyone's different. And because someone's different doesn't mean that they are more or less good than anyone else. Lily's worked it out. Lily likes being Lily. I mean, she's great at it. She's more than ok at it.
Lily: I like me, and I like my life.
Jonathan: That's -- that's all that matters. No one should say that -- that Lily’s normal -- it isn't as good as theirs.
Jack: That was not my aim, and you know it.
Jonathan: You've taught Lily a lot of amazing stuff. So then don't tell her now that she's been fooled --
Jack: I would love to spare her from the truth, Jonathan. But then one day, when it suits you, you'll destroy her, won't you?
Jonathan: I would never, never do that.
Jack: And tell me why I should trust you.
Jonathan: Why don't you trust Lily? Why don't you give her enough credit to know that she's going to do the right thing?
Jack: Why don't you do the right thing, Jonathan? Because I'm never going to let you get away with this.
Jonathan: You're real smart, and -- and you're used to being in charge and running things. But it doesn't make you right. And you're not right this time. Lily is. And I'm not the bad man this time. You are.
Jack: Lily, I'm going to leave now. I want you to think about what I said. You know I only want what's best for you, sweetheart, and Jonathan --
Lily: Till death do us --
Jack: No matter what act he's putting on --
Jack: Is bad for you.
Lily: Till death us part. Death do us part. Till death do us part.
Jack: You could end this right now, you know? Just tell her the truth and walk away like a man.
Lily: Death do us part. Till death do us part.
Jonathan: Lily? Lily, he's -- he's gone.
Lily: This is wrong.
Jonathan: I know, but --
Lily: He's wrong.
Jonathan: Oh -- ok, but we're -- we're going to fight this.
Lily: The law says that I can have a job. The law says that I can be married. Then how can the law let my father take you away from me?
Dixie: I'm ready to go.
Derek: You just made bail.
Dixie: What? That's impossible. There must be some mistake.
Derek: Do you want to stay?
Dixie: No. I don't understand, though. I mean, J.R. doesn’t know that I'm here. Adam --
Dixie: Uncle Palmer?
Palmer: Oh --
Palmer: Dixie, I know I've been hard on you. I know that. I understand you've been searching for your daughter.
Dixie: Yes, your grand-niece.
Palmer: Yes. I'm not going to stand by and see a Cooney behind bars, believe me. And you are certainly not going to prison for ridding the earth of that scum, Madden.
Tad: Well, I guess that's another sucker heard from. Well done.
Di: Tad, have you lost it?
Tad: I did once. I guess I'm still paying for it.
Palmer: Ah, ignore him. Dixie, word has just come through that Babe and Erica’s son have been found. Yes, they're alive and they're well.
Dixie: They're all right?
Palmer: Yes, yes. The rescue boat is bringing them in as we speak.
Dixie: Oh, my God. Oh, thank God. Oh.
Derek: Want to tell me why you're so ticked off at Dixie?
Tad: Not much to tell.
Derek: Enough that it's eating at you. Might hurt less if you spill it.
Adam: Well done, son. Well done.
Krystal: Oh, I was worried. Oh, baby, I love you so much.
Babe: I love you so much. I missed J.R. and the baby.
Adam: Thank you both, for everything you did.
Jamie: We're just glad it turned out ok.
Julia: Very glad.
Krystal: Not so fast. You cannot kidnap my daughter, almost kill her, and then just try to sneak off. Where is a cop?
Erica: Stop it! How dare you attack my son? Josh has been through enough.
Sydney: So, Colby -- peace? No more trash talk?
Colby: Yeah, maybe when trailers and mullets fly.
Sydney: Ok. Fine. You know what? I will smile, and I'm going to tolerate you enough to stay here.
Colby: You know what? Just keep your bags packed, ok?
Sydney: Play nice. You know, you hurt my delicate feelings, and you can kiss your Sweet-16 goodbye.
Colby: Ok, I'll have my Sweet-16 party, and you'll be there. And the whole world will watch you wait on me. Hmm.
Sydney: Yeah. Sure.
Jonathan: We -- we'll get a lawyer. And -- we'll get Livia Frye. She'll make everything ok, Lily. Hey, you'll see.
Lily: I'm your wife, and you're my husband. And I want things to stay the way they are. Please?
Jonathan: You're -- Lily, you're the best thing that's -- that's ever happened to me.
Lily: So you'll hold on? You won't let go?
Jonathan: No. I'm -- I'm going to hold on tighter than ever. I'll never let go.
Lily: Will you show me?
Jonathan: You -- you mean --
Lily: Hold me. You can touch me. You don't scare me. You make me feel safe.
Derek: You and Dixie were on the same side, then. It was all about protecting Jamie and J.R., finding Kate. Why the 180?
Tad: You know, Derek, after everything you put me through lately, I'm not exactly in an unburdening mood.
Derek: I'm not asking as a friend. This is a murder case, and you know something. So let's start with why you turned on Dixie.
Tad: Ok, try this. She pretended to be dead for four years. She let my family mourn, she gave my baby away to perfect strangers. And then when she finally got around to telling me the truth, she started sleeping with Zach Slater. Is that enough?
>> On the next "All My Children" --
Josh (to Erica and Jeff): I seriously doubt you have anything enlightening to say, but if you want to talk, I'll listen.
J.R. (to Babe): Now you kick Josh out of your life.
Zach (to Kendall): Dixie was a wreck. She'd lost everything. She was just looking for some comfort.
Kendall (to Zach): Hold on a second. So she kissed you?
