Di: Hey. Didn't expect to see you here.
Tad: Hi. Me? What about you? Why are you here?
Di: Last I checked, it's a public park.
Di: Why shouldn't I be here? What are you doing here?
Josh: So that's why it's so important to get the blood work.
Jeff: Exactly. If a patient's been traveling abroad, that opens up a whole different medical textbook. Hello, Jack. What can I do for you?
Jack: Well, I'd like to talk to Josh here, alone.
Jeff: We're -- uh -- we're busy right now. Can it wait?
Josh: What could you possibly have to say to me?
Lily: No touching. No touching. No touching!
Jonathan: It's ok. Lily --
Lily: No touching.
Jonathan: Lily, I'm here.
Lily: No touching, no.
Jonathan: No -- no, it was just a bad dream. See?
Lily: No touching.
Jonathan: Look, everything's fine.
Lily: No touching.
Jonathan: Ok, ok.
Lily: No touching.
Jonathan: What -- what was your dream about?
Lily: The bad man in New York was trying to get me.
Terry: Thanks very much for seeing me.
Aidan: What can I do for you?
Terry: My name's Thompson McDermott.
Aidan: Pleased to meet you, Mr. McDermott.Terry: Thank you. Just, please, call me T. I just came down from New York.
Aidan: What brings you here to Pine Valley?
Terry: There's a woman I'm looking for who may be living here. I want you to help me find her.
Zach: Aye-yi-yi. What are we doing here? And why can't I take you home?
Kendall: I don't feel right about going home without my baby. At least when I was at the hospital I could close my eyes at night and I would know that Spike was just down the hallway.
Zach: What can I do to help?
Kendall: I just want my son home with me.
Zach: I know. Ok. Let's get to it.
Kendall: To what?
Zach: You found out that Dixie was staying at the casino.
Kendall: Our casino.
Zach: Mm-hmm. I was helping her, and now you're upset.
Kendall: I'm not upset.
Zach: You're not?
Zach: Ok, are you hungry? Because I thought maybe we'd get some Chinese food and watch the World Cup.
Kendall: Why would I be upset? Just because my husband's been sharing a secret life with another woman?
Kendall: I don't doubt that you love me. I don't, honestly.
Zach: But there is a “but” in there somewhere.
Kendall: I just -- I -- I don't know why you helping Dixie bothers me so much.
Zach: But it does.
Kendall: The car ride over here and all the silence was me trying to figure out why I'm so upset.
Zach: What'd you come up with?
Kendall: I don't know. I was surprised, maybe? I mean, after pouring my whole heart out to you, it was a shock to learn that you had this whole sideline going on. And then -- and then I heard it from J.R. first.
Zach: Ok, that would do it.
Kendall: I -- I really didn't need the -- the jerk who almost killed me throwing my husband's secrets in my face.
Zach: It's understandable. What do you want to know? Come on, sit down, and I'll tell you everything.
Kendall: Ok. Um -- well -- Dixie told me that the two of you had -- wait a minute. What? What?
Zach: Of course you would go to Dixie before you asked me.
Kendall: So? Are you mad about that?
Zach: Uh-uh. Not at all. I just wish I could've been there to see it.
Terry: My wife, Annie, is missing.
Aidan: Define “missing.”
Terry: “Missing” as in I need to find her. We're recently divorced, but the judge signed off on joint custody of our child.
Aidan: I can see where this is going.
Terry: Yeah -- nowhere good, I'm afraid. I called Annie last week to make some arrangements, but nobody answered.
Aidan: And you tried her cell?
Terry: Her cell, her friends -- nothing. I went by Friday to pick up my daughter for the weekend, nobody was home. The apartment was empty. She took off with my little girl. No forwarding address, no contact information. I think she's trying to disappear on me.
Aidan: Well, she must've had a reason to violate the court order.
Terry: I made a terrible mistake. I had an affair. Annie got furious and threw me out. Maybe she was right, but that's no reason to run, is it?
Aidan: And you think that she took off to pay you back?
Terry: I think she's punishing me by stealing my daughter. Mr. Devane, I love my little girl, but Annie doesn't realize that she's hurting her, as well. I mean, why take out your anger on an innocent child?
Aidan: And you've called the New York Police?
Terry: Oh, they said they can't help because maybe Annie went over state lines, and they can't do anything about that. And they won't issue an amber alert because, well, technically, Annie has custody, as well. Will you help me?
Aidan: Well, first, I'm going to need to see the court order, and I'll also need to speak to the authorities in New York.
Terry: Yeah, sure. I mean, I've got the officer's card somewhere.
Aidan: No offense, but I need to make sure that your wife should be brought back to you. So before I look for her, I'm going to have to investigate you.
Lily: I kept telling Terry I didn't want to be touched, but he didn't listen. Why didn't he listen to me?
Jonathan: Hmm -- he was a -- he was a bad man. But it's ok because he's -- he's far, far away from here now.
Lily: But I don't like to be touched, and he didn't care. He wasn't anything like the nice expression on his face.
Jonathan: Lily, it -- it wasn't your fault.
Lily: In Life Skills, they taught me to understand how people feel by the look on their face. He wasn't anything like the look on his face. It was nice. He was not nice.
Jonathan: Hmm -- well, sometimes people hide the way they feel from their face, I mean, because they -- they don't want anyone to know.
Lily: Well, then how are you supposed to know who's bad from good?
Jonathan: Maybe sometimes you don't.
Lily: Well, he looked nice, but he was lying. He just wanted to have sex with me.
Jonathan: Everyone is fooled by other people -- in business, in marriages, in friendships. It's not just people with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Lily: Well, maybe my dad was right. Maybe I can't survive in the world as an adult if I can't even tell a bad man from a good one.
Jonathan: Lily, no. No, no, don't say that. I'm here, too, remember? I'll -- I'll help you.
Lily: Yeah, but he tricked me so easily. Maybe anyone could.
[At the park, Tad keeps staring at the site of Greg’s underground prison.]
Di: It's not like I'm stalking you.
Tad: I didn't say you were.
Di: I get antsy sometimes and I take a walk. If you want me to leave you alone, I will. I'll take that as a yes.
Tad: No. God, no. Please stay. I'd appreciate it if you would. I -- there's no reason to be rude. I don't know what's the matter with me.
Di: I know what's the matter with you. Everyone does. How could you be any different with your daughter missing?
Tad: It's still no reason for me to bite your head off.
Di: Well, I'll be fine. I'm not going to get my feelings hurt just because you're moody. Tad, if it seems like I'm pushing you, it's just because I'm scared.
Tad: Of what?
Di: I'm scared that you're going to still feel upset that your daughter is missing, like, a month from now, a year from now, 10 years from now.
Tad: You don't think I can find Kate?
Di: No, no, no, it's not -- it's not that. I'm just -- Madden is not like most men. You know, he's twisted. But besides that, the man has no weaknesses, like -- like a conscience or empathy.
Tad: That's interesting. It's the first time I've ever thought of having a conscience as being a weakness.
Di: I know, but with -- with a creature like him, it is. You know, if he had one, we could get through to him. If he was like everyone else, we could reason with the guy, threaten him or something. As it is, nothing works.
Tad: We're just looking for the wrong weakness.
Di: I just don't understand why Madden would -- would disappear, drop everything just to keep this secret.
Erica: Jack, sweetheart, I've been looking for you.
Jack: Well, you found me.
Erica: Yes, I have. I wanted to discuss with you the -- uh -- subject we were talking about earlier at the Yacht Club.
Josh: Well, don't let us keep you. We have patients to take care of.
Jeff: If you'll excuse us, we're in the middle of rounds.
Erica: Of course. Shall we?
Jack: I wonder if Dr. Martin knows how dangerous it is to work with you, Josh.
Erica: Jack --
Jack: See, last year -- last year, Erica was Josh's mentor, because Josh was determined to make it big in television, so determined, in fact, that he drugged Erica to steal her job. I bet you didn't hear about that in Africa, huh?
Erica: Jack, come on, let's go.
Jack: Just don't drink anything he offers you.
Josh: No charges were filed. That accusation was never proven.
Jack: Oh, you see, that raw ambition, that uncontrollable behavior -- proof that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Wouldn't you say so, Erica?
Erica: I think some things should not be said.
Josh: I'm sure Dr. Martin has no interest in hearing about my father.
Jack: Oh, I wouldn't be so sure about that.
Jeff: Why don't you let me make that call, Jack?
Jack: I just wanted you to be prepared because, you know, oftentimes those traits of which I just spoke -- well, they run in the blood.
Jeff: Josh, why don't you file the blood work with the patient's chart, hmm?
Josh: Can't get there soon enough.
Jeff: You know, don't you? Erica finally decided to tell you?
Jack: Something like that, yes.
Jeff: What do you intend to do about it?
Kendall: Wow. You -- you're -- you're not trying to get out of this at all.
Zach: Get out of what?
Kendall: You kept another woman secret from your own wife.
Zach: But I wasn't keeping her for myself.Kendall: Do you like Dixie?
Zach: I like Dixie a lot.
Kendall: Oh. You're not hiding anything at all.
Zach: There's nothing to hide. In this world, there's plenty of women that I like and respect. It just turns out I like and respect you the most.
Kendall: All right, why aren't you trying to come up with some lame excuse here?
Zach: I don't need one. Dixie needed a place to stay, she needed help, and I gave her that. End of story.
Kendall: Ok, well, if you didn't do anything wrong, then why did you keep it a secret?
Erica: I did tell Jack that you and I are Josh's parents, and Jack agrees with me -- that we should not tell Josh anything about this.
Jeff: Unfortunately for you, it's not only your decision, is it?
Erica: I know very well that you may decide to tell Josh the truth. But we just want you to be aware of what you would be unleashing if you did.
Jack: Josh has done things to Erica that were absolutely despicable, and to other people, as well. And I'm just afraid that if he finds out his real background that, in his mind, is going to give him license to do much, much worse.
Jeff: Jack, I'm well aware of Josh's history, but that's the story of who he was with Greg Madden as a father. Has anyone bothered to pay any attention to Josh? He is a talented, bright-but-misguided young man. Has anyone given him direction, guidance, or encouragement?
Erica: Uh -- that would be me. I was trying to do that exact thing when -- when Josh slipped me these antipsychotic drugs.
Jeff: Please, Erica. Giving of yourself to support others -- that's not exactly your standard practice.
Jack: That's not what we're here for.
Jeff: Jack, look, I'm sorry if this upsets you, but I'll base my decision on what's best for Josh's future, not his past.
Jack: But, please, at least give some thought to the things we've said here today for your own good, Jeff.
Jeff: I'll certainly take your cautions under consideration.
Jeff: If you'll excuse me.
Erica: Thank you.
[Erica tries to hug Jack but is rebuffed.]
Jack: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, Erica -- don't.
Jonathan: Before my -- my surgery, when I was in Pine Valley here -- actually all my life -- I never trusted anyone because it was safer. But I -- I was very lonely then, not like now.
Lily: And I trust you completely, and it makes me very happy. And I'm not lonely when I'm with you, either. Hey, we're alike in another way, too. Have you ever been tricked?
Jonathan: Sometimes, yeah -- yeah, life -- life tricks me pretty good.
Lily: And it makes you feel really bad, doesn't it?
Jonathan: It can, yeah, but then I remember that getting tricked isn't my fault. It's the people who tricked me. Well it's -- it's only the people that want to hurt you who are the bad ones.
Terry: Did you find out what you needed?
Aidan: Yeah. Thanks for waiting. Looks like everything you said checks out.
Terry: Oh, did this officer find out anything new?
Aidan: No, but he did confirm that you filed a complaint about your missing ex-wife with the New York authorities, and the custody order's legit.
Terry: Good. So what now?
Aidan: Now I need to get some more information from you, in fact, to make sure that I'm not locating this woman just to get hurt.
Terry: Oh, no, I could never hurt Annie.
Aidan: So she never filed an abuse complaint against you, then?
Terry: No, not even close.
Aidan: I need you to write down the names of your boss and your daughter's school principal, and anyone that your wife might confide in.
Terry: Sure, that's no problem. I'll give you all the names you want, just please find them.
Aidan: Are you sure there's nothing else that you might want to tell me?
Terry: Not that I can think of.
Aidan: So why are you looking for your wife in Pine Valley?
Terry: Well, she has a friend who lives here -- a woman by the name of Di Kirby.
Di: You remember when you found Madden's file on your family when you looked through his room at the Valley Inn?
Tad: It was like a lifetime ago.
Di: It was the whole who's who of the Martin clan --
Di: And you didn't know what it meant.
Tad: Well, I knew it wasn't research for some stupid paper he was writing, if that's what you mean.
Di: Right. You know, and I said you didn't have to tell me what it meant back then, and you don't have to tell me now. But I do care, Tad. We both know that there was more to that creepy dossier. And you know more now, too, don't you? All this with Kate -- it's some sick grudge Madden is playing out on you, your whole family.
Tad: All I know for sure is that for some reason, Dr. Greg Madden has had it in for the Martins for almost 20 years.
Di: What could make that man hate you so much for so long?
Erica: No, Jack, please don't go.
Jack: Look, I did not come here for you, Erica. I came here to take another look at Josh and to warn Jeff Martin about him.
Erica: Well, hopefully Jeff will listen.
Jack: I want to make one thing very, very clear. I do not want Josh a part of this family. I do not want him creating chaos for Lily and Kendall, and I do not want his selfishness ripping our lives apart.
Erica: When you said that Josh didn't fall far from the tree, you were talking about me, weren't you?
Jack: If the designer shoe fits, then wear it.
Erica: Well, excuse me, but I'm a part of this family, too.
Kendall: We don't have the best track record when it comes to secrets.
Zach: Dixie didn't want anyone to know that she was in town. She asked me to keep it quiet and so I did.
Kendall: Why not tell me, you know, the woman that you love?
Zach: When I first met Dixie, the woman I loved didn't want to have anything to do with me.
Kendall: Oh, yeah. Well, so after the ball, when you were getting ready to move back to Vegas and you said something came up, that something was Dixie, wasn't it?
Zach: Yeah, it was. She told me about Madden. And she's the one who told me to keep you away from him.
Kendall: He stole her baby?
Zach: That's right.
Kendall: Ok, well, I asked you about that, I wanted details, and I -- if you had told me, I would've never gone to the island with him.
Zach: I gave her my word.
Kendall: So you chose helping Dixie find her child over saving mine?
Zach: No. Dixie and I tried to find proof to show you what Madden is capable of.
Kendall: But you're still helping Dixie, aren't you? Even with Spike and me safe?
Zach: I am.
Kendall: Where were you when I woke up from my coma? You weren't there. You were with Dixie, right?
Zach: Well, you're right. I was with Dixie. The night before you woke up, I was pulled out of the hospital, I was arrested. And when I was released from jail, Dixie was there.
Kendall: Well, why didn't you just come back to the hospital?
Zach: Madden was making a run for it. We wanted to find him and get some information out of him.
Kendall: For Dixie?
Zach: For Dixie.
Kendall: Why? Why -- I mean, Dixie, Julia? Why do you always have to run and help these women in distress?
Zach: Because I can, Kendall.
Kendall: But their problems are not our problems.
Zach: Well, this one's pretty close, yours and Dixie's, only your problem is solved now, hers isn't.
Kendall: So is that why you won't go after J.R. -- for Dixie's sake, because he's her son?
Zach: No. Because she is his mother.
Tad: At this point, I don't give a damn why Madden does what he does. All I want him to do is talk.
Di: Well, you'd have to find him first, right?
Tad: Of course.
Di: Anything new?
Tad: Nothing that you don't already know.
Di: What are you going to do when you find Madden?
Tad: I'm not sure yet. I mean, let's face it -- logic hasn't gotten us too much thus far. Sometimes in life when your old tricks don't work, you just have to come up with new ones. And at this point, I'm so desperate, I would do anything. Anything. I don't care if it turns my stomach -- hell, I'd use a page from Madden's own playbook.
Di: It sounds like you already have something in mind.
Tad: You don't want to know what's in my mind.
Di: Tad, you can't be blamed for thinking thoughts.
Tad: Sure you can. I wonder if this whole thing with Kate is eating me alive, changing me somehow. I mean, it's like I can already feel it.
Di: How could it not change you?
Tad: No, I mean, when you walked up, I was scared. I don't know what kind of parent I could make for Kate now because of it. I mean, am I going to spend the rest of my life trying to forget about this?
Di: Wait here.
Aidan: So how does your wife know this Di Kirby? How did they meet?
Terry: Di and Annie went to grade school together. They lost touch growing up.
Aidan: So they haven't seen each other in years, then?
Terry: Uh -- no. Actually, they ran into each other when it turned out Di was dating my boss at my old investment house -- a guy by the name of Kevin Sturgess.
Aidan: And you say “old investment house”?
Terry: Yeah, that's right. I left a couple years back, because it turned out Mr. Sturgess was a bit of a player. Now I'm at a firm that's a little bit more legit.
Erin: Aidan? Oh, my gosh, I'm so sorry I missed our lunch. Oh --
Aidan: Hey, Babe. I'm just with a client right now. I'll be two secs.
Erin: Yeah, it's my bad. Just take your time.
Aidan: We are on another case right now, but I promise you I will look into this for you.
Terry: Great. Thanks. I got to get back to New York, anyway, so --
Terry: He's all yours.
Aidan: Excuse me. We'll be in touch. Yeah?
Terry: Yeah. Please, if I can do anything, just let me know. It's not a bad train ride at all. I'll check in as much as I can. I'll definitely be around.
Jonathan: He lives in New York, ok? He won't come to Pine Valley. Hmm -- you're safe here. You're safe anywhere with me.
Lily: It's so nice to have someone to protect me. Well, Terry said what he wanted to do to me was normal. You don't want me to take my clothes off, do you?
Jonathan: No, Lily, I'm -- I only want you to do whatever makes you feel comfortable. No one should tell you what to do.
Lily: So you don't want me to take my clothes off?
Jonathan: Lily, I -- I love you how you are. I wouldn't trade one second of how we are for anything. Why? Do you – uh -- do you want to take your clothes off?
Lily: I don't think so. I think we'd both be distracted.
Jonathan: Oh, ok, then. So -- so clothes stay on.
Lily: Yes. You always agree with me, even if we agree to disagree. What if I said I want to go to the moon?
Jonathan: Well, then I would have to find some space suits really quick, because you're -- you're my rocket scientist. You'll find a way to make it happen.
Lily: Well, it's pretty much just knowing a lot of math and having a really good computer. What are you doing with all these numbers?
Jack: I want you to be a part of this family. But that means we have to talk. Right now, you are shutting me out, and I do not know how to deal with that.
Erica: You don't know how many times I tried to tell you.
Jack: Yeah, but you didn't.
Erica: I told you that the first time I -- I saw you after I found out, you were unconscious. And after that, from the minute you came to, our whole lives have been in chaos.
Jack: Yes, but somehow I managed to tell you about all the problems I was having with Lily, but you -- somehow you managed to keep a son a secret all this time.
Erica: Ok, you're furious with me. I knew that. I knew that the minute I saw you walk out on me at the Yacht Club. Ok, but then I come here and I find you staring my darkest secret in the face. What was I supposed to think?
Jack: What did you think I was going to do, tell Josh without even discussing it with you? I'm not you, Erica.
Erica: Well, I didn't know what you were going to do.
Jack: I'm the one who doesn't tell Josh, because I'm not sure it's the right thing to do or whether I would just be doing it out of spite.
Erica: Or to punish me?
Jack: Yeah, maybe -- maybe that. Look, one secret blew up our wedding. I don't want this secret to destroy our marriage. All right, you know what? He's your son, do what you're going to do. I'm out of it. And this time, don't follow me.
Erica: Do you see? Do you see the damage you've already done?
Lily: Isn't it a little late to be doing your taxes?
Jonathan: Well, it's next year's. I was playing with a few different things to see what we can afford next year, now that we're married.
Lily: Do you think you're good at math?
Jonathan: Maybe -- hmm. Ok, no. No, no, not very good.
Lily: Ok, I'm glad you know that. I would be uncomfortable having to tell you myself.
Jonathan: Hmm -- don't worry, I know.
Lily: You made a few mistakes in your calculations. See this?
Lily: There. You're $57.33 off. But in taxes, you round down, so you're $57 incorrect.
Jonathan: Oh --
Lily: Can I fix it?
Jonathan: Hmm -- yes.
Lily: Thank you.
Jonathan: Please, I -- I wish you would. Thank you. I need you, too, Lily.
Jack: Well, hello, Brooke. What a pleasant surprise.
Brooke: Well, Jack. Oh, it's so nice to see you.
Jack: Thanks. Beautiful night we have.
Brooke: Yes, it is. What are you doing here? Where's Erica? She's not going to jump out at me from behind the bar, is she?
Jack: I doubt that. Actually, I just came up to take the boat out for a spin. I always find that those ocean breezes clear my head.
Jack: Hey --
Jack: How would you like to come along?
Brooke: Oh, is Erica joining us?
Jack: No, actually, I'm flying solo, the captain of my own soul.
Brooke: Well, you know, as much as a little spin on the water sounds absolutely wonderful, I'm going to have to pass.
Brooke: I have such a hectic day tomorrow. I do, I do.
Jack: Well, at least have a drink with me, huh? I mean, you wouldn't want to leave me here all alone, would you?
Brooke: Oh, God forbid.
Brooke: All right, one drink. Thank you.
Jack: You're welcome.
Aidan: You know, for a minute there, I thought you'd left me for another man.
Erin: No, it's -- killer day at work. You know, it's tense --
Erin: Over there right now. Babe's intent on staying, Kendall's riled up. It's -- ugh. I had to -- I had to put in a quick hour at the Miranda Center, too, so -- hey, you look kind of worried. You got any leads on Tad's case?
Aidan: No, with a four-year head start, Tad's daughter could be anywhere. There's no names, there's no records -- there's nothing.
Di: Food on a stick.
Tad: That is not food. Do you have any idea what they put in these things?
Di: Mm-hmm -- deep-fried goodness. Hush your mouth and eat it.
Tad: It's a dare.
Tad: It's not bad.
Tad: No, I mean it. It's really -- it's not bad. It's not good, but not bad.
Di: Tad -- wherever you're going, I want to go. I want to go with you.
Tad: Why on earth would you want to be a part of this?
Di: Because Kate's my family. And I still love you. However dark it -- it gets -- Tad, if you're going to be in hell, I want to be in hell with you.
Tad: You'd really be willing to be in hell with me?
Di: I've been there with a lot worse company.
Tad: Even though you know full well I'd be no good to you or anybody else before I find Kate?
Di: Any way it has to be.
Kendall: Ok, see, I don't get this. After everything that happened at the hospital -- I mean, you -- you fired a gun to protect me. You don't hate what J.R. did?
Zach: I never said that. But I don't want to add to Dixie's pain. J.R. is all she has.
Kendall: Well, that's too bad.
Zach: I met Dixie when I was standing at my son's open grave, the son that I lost. And losing a child is -- um -- I think she's been through enough. I'm not going to take J.R. away from her for now. Think about it -- what if Spike did something, you know, 20 years from now, something regrettable and horrible, and somebody went after him? What would you do?
Kendall: I'm sorry, Zach, I can't think that far ahead. I'm still fighting for my child right now. And thanks to J.R., he is still in an incubator, so I still want to see J.R. pay.
Zach: And thanks to Dixie, I have you and Spike. Can you deal with that?
Erica: Do you see the chaos that you've caused by -- by coming back here? You have turned my life upside down -- forcing my hand with Jack, stressing my marriage.
Jeff: Maybe it's the result of not telling the poor guy.
Erica: Well, why does everyone around here feel so compelled to burden others with their secrets?
Jeff: I'm not an expert, Erica, but isn't that what marriage is?
Erica: Oh --
Jeff: Then again, you've had a lot more experience.
Erica: So is that what you plan to do? You plan to burden Josh with -- with an entirely new life?
Jeff: I don't know. I haven't made up my mind yet.
Erica: Jeff? Will you warn me first if you do? I just don't want to be ambushed. Jeff, please don't do this behind my back. Will you just give me some time to prepare?
[Jeff sighs as Josh listens from the hall.]
Jeff: Maybe tell the rest of your family?
Erica: Will you warn me before you decide to tell him?
Jeff: I'm ok with that.
Brooke: So Erica must be very relieved that Kendall's out of the hospital.
Jack: Well, you know, Erica's busy being Erica.
Jack: I haven't seen you in so long.
Jack: Are you sure I can't Shanghai you into a little boat ride with me?
Brooke: Oh --
Brooke: You talked me into it.
Jack: Thank you.
Brooke: But I'm easy.
Di: I wanted to marry you, for better, for worse. The worst just happened before we could exchange our vows, but it doesn't change the way I feel. Tad, I will do anything to fix this, anything. I've been a lot less than an angel in my life. You'd be surprised how dark I can go. I will help you find your daughter.
[Tad kisses Di on the cheek.]
Tad: Thank you, but no.
Di: You don't have to hold anything back for me.
Tad: You don't understand.
Di: I can handle it.
Tad: I know. But this kind of hell is personal, just mine alone.
Di: Ok. Just know that I'm here.
Erin: You -- how about I make up for ditching you at lunch by taking you to a late dinner? You hungry?
Aidan: Yeah. In fact, I'm starved. I'll just find my keys, then I'll be with you.
Erin: Aidan -- um -- what's this new case that you're working on?
Aidan: A guy wants me to find another missing child, only this time the guy's wife took her. Found them. Let's go.
Lily: With all things staying the same, we would receive a tax refund of $724. See, I can help you, just like you help me. We're a perfect match.
Zach: You're my life, my future. Never doubt that.
Kendall: I love you, Zach.
